Morning, Pat! Cool again here this morning – only 70 and partly cloudy. I’ll be leaving for Norfolk before too long. I’ve got a LONG list of things to get @ WM, then I’ll stop and see Michael.
I just prepared a long response w/links I saved about 9/11 and it closed down the page for me……so I guess those links aren’t favored by WP! I know all I need to know about that day – it was our OWN government behind this. I’ll try a couple of the links…..
Eric Daugherty @EricLDaugh HOLY SMOKES. Mike Rogers just exposed in front of the whole nation that MI Senate candidate Abdul El Sayed (D) is fundraising from ISLAMIC TERROR organizations
“Radical ISLAMIC terrorism. I’ve spent MUCH of my life confronting it! […] Abdul is funding his campaign with money from terrorist groups like the Muslim Brotherhood!”
“Abdul says he wants money out of politics unless that money comes from recognized terrorist organizations.”
@MikeRogersForMI is exposing it all. Even DEMOCRATS who remember 9/11 should not be ANYWHERE NEAR electing Abdul to the US Senate
It would be a historic defeat. Elect this PATRIOT!

This is a story I forgot, or maybe never knew. It didn’t come to that, be she had volunteered to do the job.
Flashback: The Fighter Pilot Who Was Tasked With Taking Down Flight 93https://townhall.com/news/mattvespa/2026/09/11/flashback-the-fighter-pilot-who-was-tasked-with-taking-down-flight-93-n1891166
Lt. Heather “Lucky” Penney was on a runway at Andrews Air Force Base and ready to fly. She had her hand on the throttle of an F-16 and she had her orders: Bring down United Airlines Flight 93. The day’s fourth hijacked airliner seemed to be hurtling toward Washington. Penney, one of the first two combat pilots in the air that morning, was told to stop it.
The one thing she didn’t have as she roared into the crystalline sky was live ammunition. Or missiles. Or anything at all to throw at a hostile aircraft.
Except her own plane. So that was the plan.
Because the surprise attacks were unfolding, in that innocent age, faster than they could arm war planes, Penney and her commanding officer went up to fly their jets straight into a Boeing 757.
“We wouldn’t be shooting it down. We’d be ramming the aircraft,” Penney recalls of her charge that day. “I would essentially be a kamikaze pilot.”
For years, Penney, one of the first generation of female combat pilots in the country, gave no interviews about her experiences on Sept. 11 (which included, eventually, escorting Air Force One back into Washington’s suddenly highly restricted airspace).
It was a day when many made the ultimate sacrifice, and others were willing to do so to save others. If it meant kamikaze-like counterattacks to protect our skies, so be it. And Lt. Penney was ready to answer the call. In New York City, first responders, police, and firefighters had the same mindset. This is what they were trained to do.
This story brought tears to my eyes. God Bless her.
Hi Caroline! Nice to see you! I was working for an Austrian company that made the CAMCOPTER (remote-controlled) system at the time and we had sold 4 systems to the Egyptian military. We had 10 Egyptian naval officers coming in at the DC airport 1.5 weeks later. The Austrian owner refused to cancel it and we lost two of our operators who re-inlisted in the Army. So they brought a guy over from Austria.
As the Office Manager, they were my responsibility and I had to do some fast peddling to get things arranged. Our office was on the old Vint Hill Farms Army base in VA so we didn’t know if we could be targeted as well. The plane hit the Pentagon just 3 corridors down from where my office used to be when I was in the Army. Needless to say, that was a special shock to me. I had to get housing arranged at the Inn at Vint Hill and arranged menus for them that were compatible with their faith.
I will say this – they were a WONDERFUL bunch of guys and each of them to a man stood strong in support of the US. It was a fascinating time – we had them over for an old-fashioned BBQ and they came and made a Ramadan meal at my house. Ruined my pyrex pans, dang it! I took them sight seeing in the Blue Ridge and took them to the mall (but I refused to go in with them – I DESPISE malls! LOL)
The holdout on the Clancy jury was a black man – the only minority on the panel. And he stood up to the white liberal Karens. God bless him and keep him safe.
NEW: Lindsay Clancy juror Paula Devlin reveals on ‘CBS Mornings’ that the lone, male holdout juror who voted to find Clancy guilty of murdering her children was the *only* person of color — a black man.
I just saw a quote regarding September 11th that I am going to keep close at hand, for the next time that a 30=something Leftist scolds me for being Islamaphobic for believing that the importation of millions of people who hate us, and who have pledged to “take over” America is actually a problem…
“There is a collective sense among many of us that this isn’t happening the way that it should. It’s not just that younger Americans don’t share the same visceral emotions about 9/11. It’s that too many haven’t grasped its lessons: about the reality of evil, the meaning of heroism – and the contrast between a worldview that produces hijackers and one that produces firefighters running up the stairs of the South Tower..” Kristin Waggoner
I am bringing the whole article. there are many things I didn’t know.
As America marks another September 11, the man long identified as the principal architect of the attacks still has not been tried. Last week, a military judge at Guantanamo Bay set June 5, 2028, as the latest trial date for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and three alleged co-conspirators. If that date holds — and in this case, dates rarely hold — America will put the alleged 9/11 mastermind in the dock twenty-seven years after nearly 3,000 people were murdered on our soil.
That is not justice delayed. It is justice mocked.
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, a Pakistani national, not an American citizen, stands accused of conceiving and directing the plot that turned civilian airliners into weapons against the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the passengers who fought back over Pennsylvania. In March 2007, before a Combatant Status Review Tribunal at Guantanamo, Mohammed confessed to being “responsible for the 9/11 operation, from A to Z.” He has been in U.S. custody since 2003, at Guantanamo since 2006. Prosecutors charged him in 2008, arraigned him in 2012, and now, in the late summer of 2026, the fifth military judge overseeing this case has set a trial for June 5, 2028 — nearly twenty-seven years after the fact.
Making matters worse, that judge, U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Michael Schrama, has suppressed Mohammed’s 2007 statements to the FBI, jeopardizing a conviction, as if Mohammed were entitled to the full protections of the Fifth and Sixth Amendments.
Can we imagine the Nuremberg Tribunal suppressing Hermann Göring’s confession?
Certainly not.
As I said on national television last week: a quarter-century delay in a war-crimes prosecution is inexcusable.
Compare Guantanamo with the standard America once set for itself. After Nazi Germany surrendered in May 1945, President Truman appointed Supreme Court Justice Robert H. Jackson as chief prosecutor of the major war criminals. The Nuremberg Military Tribunal opened on November 20, 1945 — less than seven months after V-E Day. Judgment came in October 1946, and the Tribunal sentenced twelve Nazis to be hanged by the neck. Unlike the Guantanamo fiasco, the Allies did not grant Nazi defendants two decades of pretrial motion practice in a civilian courthouse.
Jackson understood something our liberal legal culture has ignored. A military commission for enemy war criminals is not a federal criminal trial in New York City. It is an instrument of national self-defense and historical accountability. The Constitution does not confer domestic criminal-procedure rights on foreign enemies who slaughter civilians.
Herein lies the disgrace. A liberal legal mentality — embraced across administrations, courts, convening authorities, and a defense bar that treats delay as a strategy — has imported into a war-crimes case every feature of the modern American criminal process: endless discovery fights, classified-evidence wars, successive judges, interlocutory appeals, and the fiction that a non-citizen unlawful combatant is a defendant in a routine homicide in Brooklyn.
This is a liberal system that cannot prosecute the very case it was built to prosecute.
The 2024 plea-deal fiasco made the confusion worse. Pentagon prosecutors and the military commission convening authority reached agreements under which Mohammed and two co-defendants would plead guilty in exchange for taking the death penalty off the table. Then-Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin revoked those agreements within days, after Republican members of Congress and many 9/11 families objected. A military judge and a military appeals court initially treated the deals as locked in.
In July 2025, a divided D.C. Circuit held that Austin had authority to withdraw the deals, putting the death penalty back on the table. The accused then asked the Supreme Court to revive the life-sentence agreements. All this points to another year of appellate trench warfare — probably delaying the June 5, 2028, trial date, yet again.
This sordid spectacle dishonors those who died in those towers, in the Pentagon, and on that Pennsylvania field. Throughout the delay, families have buried parents, spouses, and children. First responders have buried colleagues and then buried one another as the aftereffects of 9/11 continued to kill.
They were promised a reckoning. Instead, they got a seminar.
Defenders of the delay blame the CIA’s interrogation program — waterboarding and other black-site methods used before Mohammed arrived at Guantanamo. Weak procedural rules written for the military commissions handed defense lawyers a generation of suppression motions. Lieutenant Colonel Schrama has excluded Mohammed’s 2007 FBI statements as “involuntary,” finding they were tainted by what came before.
As Schrama treats Mohammed as an American citizen, here is what the left never admits: War criminals are not ordinary criminal defendants. Unlawful enemy combatants — Islamic foreigners who target civilians for massacre — are not owed Miranda warnings, Speedy Trial Act clocks, or the full architecture of the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendments as if they had been arrested on a street corner in the United States. They are owed a lawful, public, prompt military judgment — and, if convicted of capital war crimes, the sentence the law allows.
We have done the opposite. We built a hybrid court, then allowed every actor in it to litigate the hybrid until the court itself became the story. The story is delay, delay, and more delay.
With the trial originally scheduled for 2021, the judge pushed it to June 2028 so Mohammed’s lawyers could file more pretrial motions. At this inexcusable pace, some of the widows and widowers who waited for a verdict will never live to hear one.
This is not toughness. It is decadence.
A serious country does not spend a generation arguing with itself about whether the man who proposed flying airliners into American buildings should be handled with the manners of a municipal arraignment. A serious country tries him, states the evidence in open court, and lets a panel of officers return a verdict the public can understand.
Nuremberg wasn’t perfect. But Jackson’s generation understood the difference between law and paralysis. They stayed the hand of raw vengeance and still finished the work. We have stayed the hand of judgment itself.
As another anniversary arrives, the United States owes the dead something more than another scheduling order. It owes them a trial. Not delayed until 2028 if we can help it, and under rules fit for a war crime, not for a faculty lounge. If America cannot prosecute the mastermind of the worst attack on the American homeland in modern history, then we should stop congratulating ourselves about the rule of law and admit what we have actually built: a process so favoring the enemy that it has become cruel to the victims.
Sliding on down……just got back! Phew! It was gettin’ hot in that truck by the time I got home! Up to 83 now, calling for a high of 89 but the high predicted for tomorrow is only 73! BIG change coming!!! Good! I’m tired of the heat. I had another woman compliment me on my haircut at the checkout line. She’s about my age, I would guess, and tired of the hassle, like I was.
Should be OK but she told me I have until 12/31 to get it switched and it’s guaranteed until then…… yeah, well, we’ll see. I also mentioned that I had called them twice a day or so ago and left messages since nobody answered, and I never received a call-back. She apologized and said they are still getting ramped up and it should be better soon.
Dr. Malone: “The American experiment was never supposed to be an experiment in how much responsibility could be transferred from citizens to government. It rested on almost the opposite proposition: that a free people could govern themselves, care for their communities, solve problems locally, and voluntarily cooperate without waiting for direction from a distant bureaucracy. Alexis de Tocqueville recognized this as one of the most remarkable characteristics of America when he traveled the young nation in the 1830s. Americans, he observed, were extraordinary association-builders. When they wanted a church, school, hospital, road, charitable organization, civic improvement, or political reform, they formed a group and did something about it.
This dense network of families, churches, voluntary associations, businesses, towns, and local institutions created a civil society strong enough that government did not have to occupy every corner of life. The American experiment was always about self-rule, otherwise known as self-sovereignty.
Volunteerism builds citizenship because people retain both responsibility and agency. Big government progressively replaces both. The American experiment depends not merely upon elections and constitutional language, but upon preserving a people sufficiently independent, prosperous, cohesive, and self-reliant to govern themselves. Once citizens become clients of the state and communities surrender their functions to centralized bureaucracies, we may retain the outward machinery of a republic while losing much of what made the republic possible in the first place.
But a culture must first understand the principles of volunteerism and the importance of governing itself. Self-government is not simply a constitutional arrangement. It is a learned behavior, passed from one generation to the next.
Ronald Reagan may have articulated the fragility of that inheritance best when he warned, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” Liberty does not perpetuate itself. A nation is only as capable of self-government as its people are willing and able to assume the responsibilities that self-government requires. Citizens must understand that freedom comes with obligations: to family, neighbors, community, local institutions, and ultimately the nation itself. When those habits disappear, government (and in particular, the courts) inevitably moves into the vacuum.
This is also why immigration and immigration policy cannot be separated from culture. America has historically absorbed enormous numbers of immigrants, but successful immigration required something more than crossing a border and finding employment. It required assimilation into the American experiment.
Orderly immigration gives a nation the ability to decide how many newcomers it can successfully absorb and provides newcomers the time and institutional structure necessary to learn the language, laws, history, customs, and civic expectations of their new country. That means they must want to become Americans and participate in the American experiment.
If immigration occurs faster than the receiving society can transmit them, America risks importing populations without successfully creating Americans in the civic sense. The issue, therefore, is that the immigration wave became so large and rapid over the past fifty years that the American experiment itself has been diluted before newcomers have even had the opportunity to understand it.
In the terrible days after September 11, 2001, Americans were reminded of something we had begun to forget: what it meant to be American. For a brief time, the labels that divide us mattered less than the country that united us. Flags appeared on porches, strangers helped strangers, churches filled, and firefighters, police officers, soldiers, and ordinary citizens became our heroes.
We remembered that America is more than a government or a piece of land. It is a shared inheritance of liberty, courage, sacrifice, and responsibility to one another. Perhaps the lesson of 9/11 worth remembering today is that we should not need another tragedy to remember who we are.”
REMINDER: We have technically been at war since 9/11/2001.
On 9/18/2001, the Authorization for Use of Military Force was signed into law, against any and all who planned, authorized, committed, or aided, the 9/11 attacks,
The US MIL have legally been at war with the Deep State since 2001. We are not at war with any nation or their People. We are at war with a transnational criminal organization that controls entire nations via mass wealth, influence, media control, espionage, blackmail, election fraud, etc.
We are at war with the shadow oligarchy that rules the world. This is why Trump’s first visit during his first term was to Saudi Arabia. Then shortly after he left, there was a massive corruption purge and consolidation of power within the Saudi Royal Family, and Trump’s ally MBS now runs the show, while corrupt princes like Alwaleed bin Talal were strung upside down inside the Ritz in Riyadh and forced to give up their power.
Much of what we are seeing occur today, is directly in response to the 9/11 attacks, which leads back to Saudi Arabia. All very big pieces of the puzzle.
She is one of the best, IMO, and honest as the day is long! Her stories are also often long but worth the read!
“A Look Back at Two 9/11 Investigations I did Eleven Yrs. Apart: Red Cross Fraud & Benghazi”
Sharyl Attkisson, Sep 10, 2026
EXCERPT: “My investigative reporting related to 9/11 received two Emmy Awards 11 years apart: Red Cross Fraud related to 9/11 donations and Benghazi. If you’re interested in backstory, read on.
My talented producer, Allyson, and I did a series for the CBS Evening News proving that the Red Cross stole, mismanaged, and misdirected masses of 9/11 donations that poured in after the attacks. The Red Cross repeatedly denied it and, after my stories aired, falsely claimed on their website that I hadn’t contacted them. Fortunately, I had all the many email exchanges over a period of weeks showing them refusing to provide information or agree to an interview.
Backstory: The Red Cross denied the veracity of the internal audits and whistleblower information I reported on. What they didn’t know was that I had an impeccable off-camera source: The head of the Red Cross herself: Dr. Bernadine Healy.
I got tipped off to the fraud and mismanagement, and worked with Dr. Healy and others on the inside to get copies of the actual audits showing the Red Cross knew it had a big problem. It turns out Dr. Healy was disgusted when she caught her own agency, running on institutional autopilot, misdirecting 9/11 funds for unintended purposes. When she tried to implement reforms, the establishment at the Red Cross attacked and marginalized her.
But this is how I got such solid information that I knew was correct even as the “Red Cross” formally denied all of it.
I did many stories for CBS on the Islamic extremist terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya on 9/11/12. That scandal was three-fold:
Dying for Security: The poor American who were murdered had begged for security beforehand. The State Dept. under Hillary Clinton had received specific warnings about a 9/11 terrorist attack on that installation and others but drew down security rather than reinforcing it.
Dying to be Rescued: I was able to show that the Americans could have been rescued— or at least genuine attempts made, as the assaults went on for so long. But the Obama administration turned back rescuers on several fronts. The poor victims were left helpless. They never had a chance.
The Coverup: I also proved many facets of an elaborate coverup at the highest levels just prior to President Obama’s re-election to a) pretend it wasn’t related to 9/11, particularly because Obama claimed he’d send terrorists on the run b) pretend the attackers weren’t terrorists, but rioters-gone-amok c) pretend the attacks were “spontaneous” rather than preplanned with lots of warnings d) coverup the repeated security requests and denials e) coverup the availability of rescue operations that were turned back……”
Phew! I hate when I’m gone so long…..it takes me FOREVER to get caught up! And, of course, I HAVE to know what’s been goin’ on – I hate being behind the curve! LOL
EXCERPT: “I will never forget. Sobbing in front of the TV, shell-shocked, my heart utterly broken as the attacks of 9/11 unfolded. I don’t recall exactly how long I sat there, with a sucker punch to my gut, watching in real time as so many thousands perished. The images of the burning towers, smoke flowing from the gaping holes, the victims plunging to their deaths to avoid burning alive, followed by the collapses.
They are forever seared in my brain. And then the gigantic cloud of dust…Glued to my screen aghast, I kept thinking “why is this happening to the country and city I love?”
Growing up, I would visit the U.S. a couple of times a year. After Switzerland, America felt like my second home, especially New York, with which I felt a unique connection. Like so many, I was mesmerized by the never-ending buildings, the lights, the life. I loved spending my school holidays there, walking hours at a time, and going to delis late at night.
Wherever I would go in New York, people were friendly and warm, unlike stiff Europe. Once, after landing at JFK and stopping by one of the airport’s newsstands, the lady behind the counter called me “honey” in the sweetest way. Despite the excitement of picking up my favorite American candy, “Nerds,” what seized my attention was that woman behind the counter, because she called me “honey” when she didn’t even know me.
“New York will never be the same again”, I actually said aloud, crying as I watched the news reports on 9/11.
Having gone back to New York a few times since, I fear my prediction came true. It’s not only the skyline that is different. It’s the energy too. An immediate nostalgia set in, at least for me. New York had always been a city of the future in my eyes. Now I could only long for a past that would never come back.
Deep down, even at the young age of 14, I knew something of great magnitude had just happened. The course of history had changed drastically. Indeed, the fabric of life itself now seems divided between a “before 9/11”, and an “after 9/11” – at least for those of us old enough to remember. “The world you were born in no longer exists,” as the meme goes.
It’s been 25 years since that fateful day. For 25 years since I’ve thought about it every single day, from the other side of the Atlantic.
My life, whether I like it or not, is inextricably linked to 9/11, in a way that most people’s lives are not, because my last name is Bin Ladin, and yes, I am related to him (on my father’s side of the family). As you can imagine, being associated with a person who is deemed one of the greatest terrorists in the world has been tricky, to say the least……”
“… it is now abundantly clear that the “War on Terror” was never about fighting terror abroad to keep us safe. For the very people who claimed to be acting in the interest of “national security” have in fact done everything to undermine our national security.
In reality the “War on Terror” was about syphoning off America’s taxpayer dollars and further gutting her middle class from within, while enriching the military-industrial complex and weakening America’s standing on the world stage.
Crucially, it was also the justification to develop the mammoth national security complex that allows the tracking of anybody, at any time, and anywhere across the globe.
Now the “War on Terror 1.0” has been *overtly* repurposed as “War on Terror 2.0,” with the entire national security apparatus – greatly enhanced since 9/11 – having been completely weaponized and turned inwards against the American people themselves, and anyone else who poses a threat to their illegitimate rule.”
The results speak for themselves. Look around you – we are all being tracked, traced, and controlled. In the span of 25 years, our freedoms have been eroded to the point where there are very, very few left. This, of course, has been in the making since well before 2001. The destruction of America, via infiltration and subversion, is a long-standing plan to undo the Founding Fathers’ successes in securing liberty for their posterity.
Ever since these rights were first enshrined, concerted assaults have been devised and carried out to rob them. 9/11 was their booster shot. And we have all had to deal with the side effects ever since.
My hope is that one day, the full truth about 9/11 will come out. For the 9/11 victims’ sake, and for ours.
“Karoline Leavitt Brings Down the House at the RNC Midterm Convention” (VIDEO)
GP, by Cristina Laila, Sep. 10, 2026
“Former White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt brought down the house on Thursday evening at the Republican National Committee’s Midterm Convention. The Republican National Committee is holding a two-day midterm convention in Dallas, Texas, dubbed “Trump-a-palooza. President Trump delivered a speech on Wednesday and will deliver remarks again tonight.
The crowd roared as Karoline Leavitt made her way to the podium. “Hello, Dallas!” Leavitt said to applause. “It feels good to be back behind a podium!” Karoline Leavitt said to a roaring crowd. “And let me just say, let me just say, feels much better speaking to a stadium full of patriots than a briefing room full of journalists!” she said.
Karoline Leavitt honored Charlie Kirk on the one-year anniversary of his death.
Leavitt urged Republicans to vote in the midterms and ripped Democrats for their open borders policies.
Last month, President Trump announced that Karoline Leavitt will be departing her role as White House Press Secretary to spend more time with her young children. Karoline Leavitt will now serve as one of President Trump’s top outside advisors.
Karoline Leavitt was the youngest person to hold the position of White House Press Secretary. She was just 27 years old last year when she took on the role. Leavitt has two young children. She gave birth to her second child, a daughter, in May.”
I need to find the comment again…maybe you posted it, maybe at another site, but it said how many things obama renamed, how many biden did…way more than President Trump.
“A shirtless goofball was caught tweaking out on the bed of a flatbed truck as it crossed the George Washington Bridge – as bystanders desperately tried to warn the driver, according to wild video of the stunt.
Arnesia Crawford danced up, down and around the moving metal platform as it traveled across the upper level of the famed NYC bridge high above the Hudson River at around 11 a.m. on Sept. 3. The careless 28-year-old Fort Lee resident jumped up and down, grabbed his crotch and appeared to sing to passersby, according to the video posted to TikTok.
Crawford worked his way up near the truck’s cab, where he stood on the raised platform before he jumped back down to the main portion of the flatbed. The man then broke out into dance again as the roadside videographer drove past the dangerous street performance.
It wasn’t immediately clear how Crawford got onto the trailer or whether the truck driver was aware of the antics going on his vehicle.
Port Authority Police arrested Crawford when the truck crossed the bridge at around 11 a.m. Crawford was removed from the trailer and hit with a slew of charges including aggravated assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and terrible dancing.”
Did you know manatees had become this dependent on power plant outflows? Florida’s manatees have become so dependent on power plant warm water discharge that the planned closure of several coastal plants has become a genuine wildlife emergency.
Florida manatees are cold-sensitive and cannot survive in water below about 68°F. For decades, they’ve gathered by the hundreds at coastal power plant warm water discharge sites every winter, having learned over generations that these spots provide reliable warmth.
As older coastal plants are decommissioned, wildlife managers face the urgent challenge of providing alternative warm water refuges for populations that have never needed to find their own natural springs in winter.
Jelly Roll has been completely shut out of the 2026 CMA Awards. The Country Music Association released its nominations Thursday, and one of country music’s biggest names of the last few years did not receive a single nomination in any category.
That’s a major turnaround from just a few years ago. Jelly Roll received five CMA nominations in 2023 and won New Artist of the Year. He followed that with three nominations in 2024, including Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. In 2026, however, the number is a big fat ZERO.
The shutout comes during a year when Jelly Roll has generated plenty of headlines outside country music. He recently stirred up controversy while guest-hosting “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and cracking jokes about President Donald Trump, including shots at Trump’s weight, physical fitness and approval ratings.
While Jelly Roll is sitting on the sidelines this year, other country stars cleaned up in the nominations. Ella Langley leads the 2026 field with nine nominations, Miranda Lambert follows with seven, and Kacey Musgraves has five.
For an artist who went from five CMA nominations in 2023 to becoming one of the most recognizable faces in modern country music, getting completely blanked in 2026 is certainly one of the bigger surprises on this year’s list.
This is the Fanad Head Lighthouse. It’s situated on the rugged coast of County Donegal, Ireland, on the Fanad Peninsula between Lough Swilly and Mulroy Bay in County Donegal.
The cylindrical white masonry tower stands 22 meters (72 feet) tall. First lit in 1817, the current light station and tower structure date back to improvements finished later in the 19th century. It is a famous stop along Ireland’s scenic Wild Atlantic Way coastal route.
Local Boston station has report the holdout has past domestic violence charges, an active restraining order and is $12,000 dollars in arrears for non payment of rent and is being evicted by his landlord.
I need to make a run to the dump to drop off the branches in the back of my truck. I was going to wait until tomorrow morning since Gage doesn’t need me until around 3 pm but there are chances of rain tonight. It’s bare dirt out at the yard waste dump and I’ll get stuck if it rains sooooo……have a good night, Pat!
Good Morning All.

LOL)

It’s that too many haven’t grasped its lessons: about the reality of evil, the meaning of heroism – and the contrast between a worldview that produces hijackers and one that produces firefighters running up the stairs of the South Tower..”

“We’ve Been at War Since 9/11/2001”
Clandestine, Sep 11, 2026

“25 Years: My Message On The 25th Anniversary of 9/11”
Noor Bin Ladin, Sep 11, 2026
https://substackcdn.com/image/fetch/$s_!S20T!,w_1456,c_limit,f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2F0b87417c-7001-47b0-a206-1792f07c959a_1555x1011.png

“…..In a previous essay, I stated:
Never Forget.”

Wow! This is gorgeous!!!!

Ah! A Monarch butterfly hanging tough clinging to a flower on the Rose of Sharon bush. The wind is pretty strong but it’s hanging in there! LOL

Not a lot – there are more out in the fields and along the highways where the milkweed grows wild.
