DIY: Mummy Mason Jars

DIY 1 Minute

How adorable are these? And they are super easy to make yourself! Start by spray painting the jars metallic gold (I would have chosen white). Any type of jar will work. Allow to dry overnight; maybe give a second coat. Allow to completely dry.  Wrap rubber bands around the jar. Make sure to leave a larger opening for the eyes.

Spray paint with black paint…let dry.

Remove rubber bands and touch up if desired.

Add white dots for eyes. Let dry…add pupils. Viola!

    my granddaughter wanted to try these when they were visiting last month, but I didn’t have the right size jars. My hubby and son like gravy from a jar, so I expect to get a few at Thanksgiving–and they will be smooth–so much easier to deal with. I will save this project till next year.

        his mom never made homemade gravy, so he is used to jar gravy. my mom could cook–and always made homemade gravy from the pan drippings…sigh–sooooo good.
        but since i rarely eat gravy now, I buy the jar stuff for him…

        1. Oh, got it! I thought maybe they liked it in mason jars because it was easier to pour than using a ladle. I use the dry package mix for white gravy – I’ve tried and tried and tried – only once thru the years have I been able to make it w/o lumps. HB’s Dad showed me how to make a roux, which I never knew about but meh – that’s too much work! LOL – but I do use flour to thicken up roast and ham drippings. And I don’t like gravy like my Mom makes sometimes, with corn starch. It’s like jelly!

            1. I have some of those, too. LOL – 2 kinds, in fact! I had never heard of that before. I buy the “Pioneer since 1851” Country Gravy mix, which is what I use for my sausage gravy using JD’s Maple Sausage. Man, do I love that stuff! But I haven’t been able to eat it because of the nasty taste of the bread. Now that I’ve discovered I can eat this home-baked bread, that is on my up-and-coming menu for sure! That makes enough food for me for at least 3 days!

    Some people are aware that Gregg Phillips was diagnosed with cancer in 2019. Conventional treatments weren’t stopping it, and by 2021 it had spread to his kidneys. He ran into a surgeon he knew. When she heard his story, she told him to research fenbendazole, saying she couldn’t officially prescribe or recommend it. He followed the protocol he found online, which also included intermittent fasting and vitamins. (I don’t know all the details.) A few months later his doctors told him he had no signs of cancer in his body.

    Fenbendazole is an anti-parasitic medication used for animals. In a search, I found a report of a woman who self-medicated who had no improvement in her cancer and who had liver injury while taking it. I don’t know if she was following a protocol, taking an inappropriate amount, etc.

    I am passing this on in case someone might find it useful.

    A family friend of Catherine’s approached her after hearing my fenben story.

    The friends mom had inoperable, stage 4 Rectal cancer and was looking for an option.

    This call happened three months ago. This week Catherine learned she is “1000% better!” The doctors are shocked of course.

    And, the patient also has epilepsy but has not had one seizure since starting the protocol.

    It seems we could use some honest research on anti-parasitics (anthelmintics).

    You are indeed onto something very significant. The class of anti-parasitic drugs that includes both fenbendazole and mebendazole have attracted a lot of attention and research efforts since at least 2002, with an uptick lately due to at least two lab events, one at John Hopkins and another at Merck.

    At Hopkins, some mice who had been embedded with cancer became infected with tapeworms and thus had to be treated with fenbendazole. Within a few days, the cancer tumors had disappeared, a “happy accident” to say the least.

    At Merck, in an unrelated event, it was a little more intentional: researchers had simply been experimenting with various medicines in their repertoire and had found that fenbendazole had “batted 1,000” in eradicating cancerous tumors in mice.

    The Merck experiment has led to a rapidly growing word-of-mouth reporting of self-medicated success stories with fenbendazole. At Hopkins, meanwhile, there is a 6-year study in progress to determine the maximum safe dosage for humans using mebendazole, an indication that the company is taking the potential for cancer treatment by this class of drugs quite seriously.

    There have also been promising studies in America, the UK and, most recently, India using either fenbendazole or mebendazole.

    I’m new to this blog so I’m not sure how much information to post at a given time so I’ll stop for now, pending any further interest.

    Somewhere along the way during the discussion about alternative treatments for cancer, antineoplaston peptides were mentioned, as well as the fenbendazole (Panacur). So I’ve found 2 alternating POV’s – the “official” NIH/National Cancer Institute, and this one from a Japanese doctor – you take it from here if you’re interested.

    When asked if an EUA product could be added to the schedule, Dr. A.   34. Oh, my! I’m just now watching Tucker’s show from last night. Piers Morgan (yeah, yeah, I know – he’s a dick in some ways) was really going off on the UK – he mentions the difference in political systems in eliminating bad leaders: “…..she got the visit from the men in gray suits, the Undertakers, we call them, who slide in the back door of #10 Downing Street today to say the game was up and it was all over. 44 days, Tucker, and she’s gone – this was the British Prime Minister with the shortest tenure in my country. Now, on one level, it’s very embarrassing, shameful actually, and what she did was play a reckless game of casino politics with the nation’s finances and the result will be that millions of people in Britain will have much higher mortgages. And that’s going to be very painful, so there’s real cost to what she did.

    There is a lesson, isn’t there? Ha-ha! The one good thing about this is, once we realized she was indeed utterly hopeless, we were able to get rid of her very quickly. YOU guys….you’re stuck…chuckle…with ole’ Joe Biden for 3 years more!!! And of course he’s been making mistakes, promises about the economy, same promises about unifying the country….we have a very flawed legal system in many ways in our country, but the way we are ruthless with bad leaders is, actually I think, quite an impressive feat!

And that, I think, for many people will be the day that we decide to get on a plane and come to America permanently for the calmness and the solidity of your Presidential elections.”

    “What we have here is a complete failure of leadership in Washington,” Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman (R) said at a news conference. “These individuals should never have been allowed to make their way into the United States. They were caught at the border, and rather than be detained, they were let go so that they could wreak havoc on communities across the United States.”

    A fourth suspect, 20-year-old Justin Mora-Soto, was born in the U.S. but has spent much of his life in Colombia where his wife and children still live.

    New York imposes one of the most rigorous sanctuary state policies in the U.S. — shielding illegal aliens who enter law enforcement custody from being turned over to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency for arrest and deportation.

    According to the Nassau County Police Department, the four suspects targeted Indian Americans in Hicksville, Bethpage, New Hyde Park, and Levittown across Long Island by following them home from stores and scoping out their properties before burglarizing them.

    All three illegal aliens are among the 1.35 million border crossers and illegal aliens who have been released directly into the U.S. interior by Biden’s DHS from February 2021 to August 2022.

    In March, Ortiz-Ramos was apprehended along the U.S.-Mexico border near San Lis, Arizona before being released from custody and given an immigration court date set for July 2023.

    Meanwhile, Jimenez-Carrillo was apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border near San Ysidro, California in June and subsequently released into the U.S. interior without any scheduled immigration court proceedings.

    In June 2021, just months after Biden took office, Hernandez-Gomez was apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border near Hidalgo, Texas. He was released into the U.S. interior while being placed into deportation proceedings.

    In Mora-Soto’s case, he would still be in jail if not for New York’s “No Bail” law that allows suspects accused of property and many violent crimes to walk free only a couple of hours after having been arrested without ever having to pay bail.

    Mora-Soto was arrested and charged with second-degree menacing and criminal possession of a weapon on September 15 but was quickly released thanks to the No Bail law. He did not show up to his subsequent court date in the case.

    “Unless our elected officials in Washington get the message and understand that this open border policy is a disaster, unless our state officials understand that the cashless bail laws are a disaster, our communities are going to be less safe,” Blakeman said. “Criminals are going to have more rights than victims, and that’s a disgrace, it’s a failure of leadership on all levels.”

    The South American burglary gang in Long Island is only the latest across the U.S. where foreign nationals and illegal aliens are arriving only to commit crimes against Americans before returning home.

    As Breitbart News has chronicled, South Americans arriving on B-2 tourist visas have been flying into California with the sole purpose of burglarizing wealthy residents in Ventura County.

    Likewise, in Washington, DC, illegal aliens from South America have been operating a similar home burglary gang that targets the region’s wealthy Asian community.

            1. Chet (retired lawyer) wanted to start a new venture – he bought them from a local breeder. IDK if he still has them now but he used to walk those llamas up and down his driveway!!! Within the next year, his wife died so it gave him something to focus on. They did some breeding but he never sold any of the babies – his “herd” just kept getting bigger and bigger! LOL

    Orbán logged on to his Facebook page at two in the morning, at the end of the summit’s first day. As the prime minister wrote, the most important issue, which is energy, had been concluded.

    “The Commission’s energy proposals were the biggest threat to Hungary. If we had accepted them, we would have risked cutting off gas supplies to Hungary within a few days. Today, we have successfully averted this danger. We are not alone, and we have managed to negotiate a fair agreement,” wrote the prime minister.

    It was further revealed that the agreement means similar exemptions for Hungary as the May deal regarding oil sanctions on Russia. At the latest summit, member states agreed that if there is a gas price cap in Europe, it will not affect existing long-term contracts. If such an exemption had not been carved out, Hungary’s gas supply from Russia would have become impossible overnight to maintain.

    It has also been agreed that even if there is a common gas procurement in Europe, it will not be binding for Hungary. Orbán stated that this means that all procurement options will remain open to Hungary.

    “This is important because we can only bring down the price of energy in Hungary if there are more sources available and more competition on the Hungarian energy market,” Orbán wrote.”
