Every bride wants all the attention on her wedding day and works very hard to be the most beautiful bride she can.  But some women find there’s an easier way to make the bride the star…and that’s to make the bridesmaids pale in comparison.  One way to ensure that is UGLY bridesmaid dresses…lol People had an article showcasing 10 of the worst bridesmaid dresses…take a look.

10 The Repeat Offender

Does this gown look familiar to you? “A lot of women over 40 told me they had one just like it,” Buffalo, Minn., bridesmaid Joanne wrote in to PEOPLE. We’ve definitely seen similar versions of the same dress. They’re all shiny, puffy – and despised. “I almost dropped out [of the wedding], that’s how much I hated this dress,” says Joanne. “I came to my senses and, of course, stuck with it for my best friend!”

9 The Tablecloth

Christine now admits that her flower-power wedding was more hippie chick than hippie chic: “I can’t believe, when I look at this picture now, what I was thinking!” the Moorpark, Calif., bride tells us of her 1976 nuptials. “I wanted a simple old-fashioned wedding, and I thought the fabric looked old-fashioned. My bridesmaids hated the material and tried to talk me out of it – but my mind was set.”

8 The Rainbow Connection

“The actual dresses aren’t really the problem here,” admits Amber of her cousin’s 1973 wedding. “Instead of picking one color for her bridesmaids, [the bride] decided to have a ‘rainbow’ wedding.” Although the wedding party looked like a package of Skittles, the Madison, Tenn., native admits that an the bridesmaids’ hats were an even bigger eyesore. “It was an indoor wedding, but the bride wanted head gear.”

7 The Pajama Game

Ah, the ’70s. When disco reigned, love was free and brides dressed their wedding party in pajamas. “I found this picture of my mother’s wedding,” writes Theresa from Rochester, N.Y., of the little blue flowers and tiny bows that overwhelmed her mom’s friends at her 1975 wedding.

6 The Foil Folly

“This was a big wedding.” recalls bridesmaid Janell – and she’s not even talking about the gigantic gold gowns worn by the bridesmaids! “Eight attendants each, and all the girls in gold!” Says the White Bear Lake, Minn., native of the frilly foil frock, “These were really shiny, extremely itchy and hot.”

  2. Just The News: “FBI Director Kash Patel announced Monday the capture of a man in Turkey who allegedly helped orchestrate a $3.7 billion Medicare fraud scheme and said the man has been brought back to the United States to face charges.

    The bureau said Ibrahim Khaldoon Hilmi, who fled the U.S. in May 2025, was recently detained by Turkish authorities and the FBI’s Critical Incident Response Group flew to the country and transported Hilmi to the U.S. last week through a foreign transfer of custody operation, according to Fox News.

    Patel said the operation was a “massive win” for the White House and served as a warning for those attempting to steal money from the U.S.

    “Ibrahim Khaldoon Hilmi is charged with one of the biggest Medicare scams in history — allegedly orchestrating a massive $3.7 billion scheme to defraud Medicare,” Patel said on X. “He’s been on the run since May of 2025 — but we got him. 

    “This [is] yet another massive win for this FBI’s war on fraudsters with the White House Task Force led by [Vice President JD Vance] and a monumental victory for the Trump administration showing that any criminal actor who steals from the American taxpayer will be caught, no matter where they try to hide,” he added.”

  3. Just The News: “A federal judge on Monday rejected a bid to disqualify acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro from the case involving the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) dinner.

    Cole Allen has pleaded not guilty in the case. He allegedly stormed the security checkpoint at the hotel hosting the event and discharging his weapon. He had sought to disqualify Pirro and Blanche from the case since they were present at the event in question.

    “In line with longstanding precedent, the Court finds that neither the officials’ dinner attendance nor their statements after the fact demonstrate a conflict of interest. Nor does Pirro’s friendship with the President,” wrote Judge Trevor McFadden.

    The incident marked the third assassination attempt against Trump, after Thomas Matthew Crooks shot him at a Butler, Pa., rally and Ryan Routh attempted to ambush him on a Florida golf course. Crooks was killed in the attempt while Routh was apprehended and later convicted.”

US District Judge Amy Berman Jackson, an Obama appointee, said Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins applied the wrong law in approving a pilot program for states that wanted to restrict junk food purchases.

    23 states applied for the pilot program in an effort to limit the purchase of soda, candy and other junk food. Plaintiffs in five states filed the lawsuit against Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins. Judge Berman Jackson’s ruling applies to five states: West Virginia, Tennessee, Colorado, Iowa and Nebraska.

    Politico reported:

    A federal judge on Monday scrapped a set of state pilot programs intended to restrict the use of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program money to purchase unhealthy foods.

    U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson, an Obama appointee, wrote in her decision that Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, who oversees the SNAP program, misapplied federal law in approving requests from states to allow them to impose limits on what participants can buy with funds from the nation’s largest food aid program. Her ruling applies to Colorado, Iowa, Nebraska, Tennessee and West Virginia.

    “With her solicitation and approval of the pilot projects in this case, the Secretary purports to waive not just a mere administrative or technical obstacle, but the very definition of ‘food’ as it was laid down by Congress,” Berman wrote. “Neither the USDA nor the states can force this square peg into a round hole to avoid the plain language of the statute and the requirements of 2026(k),” referencing the part of the statute that addresses projects to help improve SNAP households’ health status.

    Jackson’s ruling could jeopardize one of the biggest policy achievements of the Make America Healthy Again agenda. Rollins and Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. have urged states to submit food restriction plans, arguing that they will improve health outcomes and that federal dollars shouldn’t be funding junk food.

    Kennedy also incentivized the states to apply by tying some federal rural health care funding to whether states had applied for a waiver to limit foods like soda in SNAP.”

    “Federal investigators announced Monday that the Surfside, Florida, condo building collapse that killed 98 people in June 2021 began three weeks prior to the structure falling.

    “Following an extensive technical investigation, the team has concluded that the collapse began in early June 2021, when two connections between garage columns and the pool deck failed,” the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s National Construction Safety Team said in a statement.

    NIST investigators said the initial column failures in the Champlain Towers South condominium caused “cracks to grow and loads to redistribute in the pool deck over the next three weeks.”

    “This led to the larger catastrophic collapse on June 24,” the NIST safety team said. The report was released almost five years after the building’s partial collapse.

    In September 2023, investigators announced that the construction of the pool deck “deviated from design requirements” and that the “number of slab reinforcing bars centered over vertical columns was inadequate.”
