1 Tbsp vanilla extract
2 cups grated zucchini
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp baking powder
1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
Beat 3 eggs until frothy. Add sugar, oil, and vanilla. Beat till thick and lemon colored. Stir in zucchini. Mix flour, cinnamon baking soda, and baking powder. Add to egg mixture. Mix well.
Pour into 2 loaf pans sprayed with baking spray. Bake in a preheated 350* oven for 1 hour.
ENJOY!

Good morning! Sorry about the ramp but it will still be there when the rain is done. My Mom makes zucchini bread all the time – she prefers it to banana bread – not me! 48 here this morning, cloudy w/light rain. And who is sitting by the door next to an empty food dish when I got up? Yup – good ole Wheezer. It’s not the right weather for love, apparently! LOL – I filled his dish and added a big scoop of tuna – he ate the tuna and is now snoozing on the chair. Just took my first sweet taste of coffee with my favorite creamer – it’s been at least a year since I’ve had any coffee. It was time for a change.

A soldier used classified intel to make $409K on Polymarket. Arrested. 5 federal charges. Assets seized.
Congress traded $635 million last year. The STOCK Act has produced zero prosecutions in 14 years. Maximum fine: $200. Routinely waived.
The STOCK Act was signed with 14 pens in 2012. Its searchable database was repealed 11 months later by voice vote on a Friday evening. No cameras. No podium. It took 4 pages to remove the only part of the law that worked.
This is not new. The pattern is 60 years old.
Abu Ghraib: 11 enlisted soldiers convicted. The Secretary of Defense who authorized the techniques was never charged. The lawyer who wrote the torture memo got a federal judgeship.
The 2008 financial crisis: 1 banker went to prison. 10 million families lost their homes. The CEO whose bank paid $13 billion in fraud settlements got a 74% raise.
Iran-Contra: A Lieutenant Colonel took the fall. The President pardoned the witnesses 11 days before his own trial testimony.
The institution prosecutes at the lowest rank, at the lowest cost, so the briefing slides can say enforcement exists.
The $409K is not the crime. It is the cost of making $635 million look supervised.
I wrote the full investigation. 33 footnotes. 60 years of receipts.

Just The News: “U.S. negotiators are heading to Pakistan on Saturday but a top Iranian official said there isn’t a direct meeting between the U.S. and Iran scheduled to take place.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is currently in Pakistan, according to reports. “No meeting is planned to take place between Iran and the US,” Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Bagahei said in a post on X early Saturday morning. “Iran’s observations would be conveyed to Pakistan,” added Baghaei.
The White House has said that U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner are leaving for Pakistan on Saturday, while Vice-President JD Vance is on standby.
On Friday, Trump said Iran was “making an offer and we’ll have to see.” He was not aware of the details at the time.”

“Charlottesville: The DECEIT Underlying the Hoax: The underlying event ITSELF was staged financed and organized by the SPLC, by leftists using corporate money from the biggest companies in America.”
Super Spreader, Apr 24, 2026
“Yup, the SPLC paid $270,000 to the guy who organized the “Unite the Right” protest in Chalottesville (bet ya didnt’ know that).
Steve Cortes – The SPLC: ”They were litterally trying to CREATE HATE so that they could then claim that they are fighting it. This would be like the fire department of a town acting as arsonists and starting fires all over town and then saying, hey we need more budget, we need more authority to fight all these fires that are breaking out all over town. That is what the SPLC did, and why did they have to do that? It is because the demand for hate from the left far excedes the actual supply of hate that is out there in American society. Actual systemic hate is really hard to find in our country”
SOURCE – Real Clear Politics
For years, Democratic politicians and their allies in the legacy media have spread the damnable Charlottesville Hoax: the propaganda myth that President Trump praised bigots who rioted in 2017 in the Virginia town. Of course, the opposite is true, as Trump actually said: “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.”
Now, we learn that the entire hoax of Trump and Charlottesville is, itself, built upon another grand lie. The media and people like Joe Biden have continually pushed the narrative that some big, organic gathering of hateful Americans descended upon Charlottesville and represented some larger threat to the republic itself. But it now turns out that the “Unite the Right” rally was organized and financed by the highly partisan, left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center.
In a sweeping 11-count indictment, the Department of Justice and acting Attorney General Todd Blanche charge the advocacy group with criminal defrauding of donors and “manufacturing the extremism it purports to oppose by paying sources to stoke racial hatred.”
The charges contained in this indictment are akin to the fire department becoming an aggressive criminal arson enterprise, setting fires all across a town, and then demanding more budget and authority to fight the very infernos it set ablaze…..”

EXCERPT: “As many Americans struggle just to cover the cost of groceries and gas, there’s ongoing outrage over members of Congress quietly posting fantastical returns in the stock market.
It’s a longstanding issue and after attempts at serious reform 14 years ago, all sides seem to admit more is needed.
Dylan Hedtler-Gaudette is with the nonprofit watchdog Project on Government Oversight.
“There’s recent analysis that has been released by the National Bureau of Economic Research that has shown that when members of Congress get into congressional leadership, they magically begin to outperform even their peers, who they used to be kind of on par with in terms of how they performed in the stock market,” he recently told “Full Measure.” “And once they become leaders in Congress, they end up outperforming by quite a bit.”
One of the controversies lies in the fact that some members are profiting off their investments in the very companies and industries they regulate, prompting allegations of “insider trading.”
Iowa GOP Rep. Zach Nunn is widely considered the most vocal supporter of a total ban on individual stock ownership for members of Congress. He sold all of his stock before being sworn into office in 2023.
“I’ll give you 200 million reasons why there’s a problem here,” he says. “We have multiple members of Congress who are performing 40% better than the S&P. It is unfair for Americans to see members go off to Washington and make more money than hedge funds are doing in New York.
“This is the definition of insider trading. When we have folks who are earning well above the norm, it’s a direct reflection of the fact that they’re involved in energy technology and financial services. Something Congress should oversee, not get rich from.”
For two decades, it’s been a hot-button issue that’s gained bipartisan support.
On April 4, 2012, President Obama signed the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge Act: the STOCK Act. It seemed a simple fix. No member of Congress, their staff, or even the president can trade stocks based on non-public information they got on the job. And every trade has to be publicly disclosed within 45 days.
Yet members of Congress have continued crushing the market – beating the S&P 500 by double digits year after year…..”

Here’s your “warmonger!” SMDH
Just The News: “Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Roger Wicker said Friday that the “time is over for negotiations with Iran’s regime,” as the United States and Iran engage in peace talks to end the military conflict in the Middle East.
The U.S. and Israel began a military operation against Iran in February, which eliminated some of Iran’s top leaders, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Iran has retaliated with strikes on U.S. military bases in the region and on Israel.
Wicker suggested the U.S. finish eliminating Iran’s nuclear program and its military instead of continuing peace talks. “The time is over for negotiations with Iran’s regime,” Wicker posted on X. “The radical successors of Khamenei can never be trusted to keep any promise or agreement. Our Commander-in-Chief should direct his skilled military leaders to finish destroying Iran’s conventional military capabilities and eliminating any last remnants of their nuclear program,” he continued. “This is the only way to ensure lasting stability in the region.”
The comment comes as President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and special envoy Steve Witkoff head to Pakistan for the next round of peace talks this weekend at Iran’s request.
“We’re hopeful that it will be a productive conversation and hopefully move the ball forward towards a deal,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Friday. “The goal of Operation Epic Fury was to ensure that Iran can never possess a nuclear weapon, and we’ve now transitioned into this diplomatic phase to get that done through the means of a deal.”

Final report released in 2 fricking years??!!?? That is ridiculous!!!!
Just The News: “The National Transportation Safety Board said Friday in a preliminary report on the cause of a collision last month between an Air Canada regional jet and an emergency vehicle at New York’s LaGuardia Airport that air traffic controllers having to deal with heavy runway traffic was among the contributing factors.
The report also found that several emergency vehicles were operating on the airport runways, responding to a plane that had reported smoke in the cabin. The vehicles didn’t contain ADS-B transponders, which provide air traffic control with location and altitude information for aircraft in the air.
The March 22 accident killed both pilots and sent 39 passengers to hospitals.
At airports equipped with systems to integrate the transponder signals for aircraft and vehicles on the ground, the transponders can also show locations on the ground and provide alerts about possible conflicts.
As the Air Canada jet was landing on the runway, the ground controller initially cleared the vehicle to cross the runway. The controller changed his mind and told the vehicle to “stop, stop, stop,” but the firefighters failed to understand that the instructions were meant for them.
The report also said two controllers were on duty on the night of the crash and that the airport traffic at the time was heavier than usual and that they were dealing with multiple situations.
The NTSB said its final report will be released in two years.”

“Speaker Johnson Addresses ‘Missing’ GOP Lawmaker Who Hasn’t Cast a Vote Since Early March”
Gateway Pundit, Cristina Laila Apr. 24, 2026
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “House Speaker Johnson on Friday provided an update to a GOP lawmaker who hasn’t voted in more than a month. Rep. Thomas Kean (R-NJ) has missed more than 50 roll call votes. Speaker Johnson told ABC News that Rep. Kean is dealing with personal health matters. “I was happy to speak to Tom Kean, Jr. this afternoon by phone. He is attending to a personal health matter and expects to be back to 100% very soon,” Johnson told ABC News.
“Tom is one of the most dedicated and hardest-working Members of Congress, and I am grateful for all he does and will continue to do to serve New Jerseyans and our country,” Johnson said.
ABC News reported:
In 2024, a Republican Congresswoman who had been “missing” for six months was finally found in a dementia care home. Rep. Kay Granger, 81, had served as the representative for Texas’s 12th Congressional District since 1997. However, she suddenly disappeared from the public eye in July 2024, when she cast her final vote against an amendment to reduce the salary of Deputy Assistant Administrator for Pesticide Programs to $1.
A curious reporter at the local Dallas Express newspaper did some digging on Granger’s whereabouts and has finally been able to give her constituents some answers. The reporter learned that Granger was residing at an assisted living facility specializing in memory care. Granger retired from Congress in January 2025.”

anyone else who disappeared from their job for a month (in the regular world) would be fired. this is typical congress is above the rest of us bs. and he provided NO details. He represents people in his district–they have been without representation for over a month already–that is inexcusable. Is he in a coma? what precluded releasing a statement, that he sustained a medical issue and would return in 4 weeks? Nope, sorry, he has a duty to the people and they demand a new election to replace him. He SERVES the people.

I can’t say I expect this to pass thru the gauntlet intact…..
Just The News: “Republican Sen. Roger Marshall, a Kansas obstetrician who delivered thousands of babies, will introduce legislation next week to forbid all transgender medical procedures for minors. The Safeguarding the Overall Protection of Minors (STOP) Act would prohibit “any gender transition procedure on a minor under age 18 — including but not limited to puberty blockers, high-dose cross-sex hormones, mastectomies, hysterectomies, genital surgeries, and facial procedures,” with civil penalties of up to $100,000 per violation for doctors and clinics.
The bill also “creates a private right of action for victims of gender transition procedures — or their parent, guardian, or caretaker if the victim was still a minor — to sue in federal court for damages,” and proposes to establish the “Victims of Gender Transition Procedures Compensation Fund” in the U.S. Treasury, funded by civil penalties.
“As an OB-GYN with over two decades of clinical experience, I know firsthand what these irreversible procedures do to children,” Marshall told The Federalist. “These are not medical treatments — they are child abuse. The STOP Act sends a clear message: if you harm a child by performing these procedures, there will be serious consequences. Our children deserve nothing less.”
About time, activists said, in a response that crosses partisan lines.
Kara Dansky is a radical feminist and Democrat, and the former president of Women’s Declaration International USA. She writes the TERF Report on Substack (a TERF is a trans-exclusionary radical feminist) and is the author of The Reckoning: How the Democrats and the Left Betrayed Women and Girls. Pointing to Article 9 of the Declaration on Women’s Sex-Based Rights, she told The Federalist, “Children have an international human right to be protected from such harmful interventions.”
Erin Friday is the president of the parents’ advocacy group of Our Duty USA, and a California resident. As her state legislature relentlessly promotes transgender interventions for minors, Friday sees federal intervention as an important corrective to blue state madness.
“This bill will provide much-needed protection for children in left-leaning states from the sex-rejecting industry being fiendishly promoted and safeguarded by Democrat-controlled state legislatures,” Friday said in a statement to The Federalist. “The might of the federal government is needed to stop the Democratic Party’s ceaseless campaign to poison, sterilize, and remove sex organs of children in order to curry favor with fringe but well-funded transgender advocates. The states without effective and full bans are in desperate need of this bill.”
And Dr. Eithan Haim, a conservative Texas surgeon who worked with the journalist Christopher Rufo to warn the public that Texas Children’s Hospital was lying when it claimed to have stopped trans procedures on children, suggested ways for federal legislation to go farther.
“Passage of the STOP Act would be a massive step in the right direction. It would not only mitigate the incalculable harm being done to vulnerable children but also demonstrate that Republican Senators have not become fully paralyzed by shameless corruption,” Haim told The Federalist. “So this legislation is a good start. One provision that should be added is to grant state Attorneys General offices civil investigative authority into public and private insurance data to uncover fraudulent billing practices in gender clinics. Because without the ability to detect these practices, nothing can be done to stop it.”
Marshall’s office expects the bill to drop by the middle of next week.”
