What Shall We Bake Today?

Even though St. Patty’s Day has passed, I found this cookie recipe in a nice pastel color.  How about green Pistachio Cookies?

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar

2 large eggs, room temperature

1 teaspoon almond extract

1 to 3 drops green food coloring

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 package (3.4 ounces) instant pistachio pudding mix

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup chopped pistachios or pecans

1/2 cup green colored sugar

Directions

In a large bowl, beat the butter, oil and confectioners’ sugar until blended (mixture will clump together). Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in extract and food coloring.

Combine the flour, pudding mix, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 375°.

Shape into 1-in. balls; roll in colored sugar. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 7-9 minutes or until cookies are set. Cool for 1 minute before removing to wire racks. Store in an airtight container.

ENJOY!

  1. I think if you come back into this country after being deported 4 times and kidnap and rape a child, you either get castrated or get the death penalty. clearly you do not respect OR FEAR our legal system. so you pay the ultimate price.

    FTA

An illegal alien, deported from the United States four times, is now accused of kidnapping, raping, and sodomizing a child, among other things, in Lexington, Kentucky.

This week, Lexington police arrested 31-year-old illegal alien Jorge Luis Martinez-Ulloa of Honduras and charged him with kidnapping a minor, two counts of first-degree rape involving a victim under 12 years old, two counts of first-degree sodomy involving a victim under 12 years old, two counts of sexual abuse of a victim under 12 years old, and first-degree strangulation.

Police allege that on March 29, Martinez-Ulloa kidnapped a child, held her in an apartment, grabbed her by her neck, and raped her.

Following Martinez-Ulloa’s arrest, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents lodged a detainer against the illegal alien, asking Lexington police to notify them if he is released from jail at any time.

“This criminal illegal alien kidnapped and raped a child. ICE is requesting Lexington not release this child predator without notification to ICE law enforcement,” the Department of Homeland Security’s Lauren Bis said:

Thankfully, Lexington cooperates with ICE, so this pedophile will not be released from jail back into American neighborhoods. We need more cities and states to cooperate with us to help remove sickos like this from our country. Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, ICE will continue arresting and removing child rapists from our country. [Emphasis added]

Martinez-Ulloa first crossed the U.S.-Mexico border in 2012 near Laredo, Texas. He was deported to his native Honduras, but illegally crossed the border on Feb. 21, 2021, Feb. 28, 2021, and March 7, 2021. At an unknown later date and location, Martinez-Ulloa crossed the border for the fifth time.

    @DrJStrategy

    Food for thought.

Trump, Hormuz and the End of the Free Ride

For half a century, Western strategists have known that the Strait of Hormuz is the acute point where energy, sea power and political will intersect. That knowledge is not in dispute. What is new in this war with Iran is that the United States, under Donald Trump, has chosen not to rush to “solve” the problem. In Hegelian terms, he is refusing an easy synthesis in order to force the underlying contradiction to the surface.

The old thesis was simple: the US guarantees open sea lanes in the Gulf, and everyone else structures their economies and politics around that free insurance. Europe and the UK embraced ambitious green policies, ran down hard‑power capabilities and lectured Washington on multilateral virtue, secure in the assumption that American carriers would always appear off Hormuz. The political class behaved as if the American security guarantee were a law of nature, not a contingent choice. Their conduct today is closer to Chamberlain than Churchill: temporising, issuing statements, hoping the storm will pass without a fundamental reordering of their responsibilities.

Trump’s antithesis is to withhold the automatic guarantee at the moment of maximum stress. Militarily, the US can break Iran’s residual ability to contest the Strait; that is not the binding constraint. The point is to delay that act. By allowing a closure or semi‑closure to bite, Trump ensures that the immediate pain is concentrated in exactly the jurisdictions that have most conspicuously free‑ridden on US power: the EU and the UK. Their industries, consumers and energy‑transition assumptions are exposed.

In that context, his reported blunt message to European and British leaders, you need the oil out of the Strait more than we do; why don’t you go and take it? Is not a throwaway line. It is the verbalisation of the antithesis. It openly reverses the traditional presumption that America will carry the burden while its allies emote from the sidelines.

In this dialectic, the prize is not simply the reopening of a chokepoint. The prize is a reordered system in which the United States effectively arbitrages and controls the global flow of oil. A world in which US‑aligned production in the Americas plus a discretionary capability to secure,or not secure, Hormuz places Washington at the centre of the hydrocarbon chessboard. For that strategic end, a rapid restoration of the old status quo would be counterproductive.

A quick, surgical “fix” of Hormuz would short‑circuit the dialectic. If Trump rapidly crushed Iran’s remaining coastal capabilities, swept the mines and escorted tankers back through the Strait, Europe and the UK would heave a sigh of relief and return to business as usual: underfunded militaries, maximalist green posturing and performative disdain for US power, all underwritten by that same power. The contradiction between their dependence and their posture would remain latent.

By declining to supply the synthesis on demand, and by explicitly telling London and Brussels to “go and take it” themselves, Trump forces a reckoning. European and British leaders must confront the fact that their energy systems, their industrial bases and their geopolitical sermons all rest on an American hard‑power foundation they neither finance nor politically respect. The longer the contradiction is allowed to unfold, the stronger the eventual synthesis can be: a new order in which access to secure flows, Hormuz, Venezuela and beyond, is explicitly conditional on real contributions, not assumed as a right.

In that sense, the delay in “taking” the Strait, and the challenge issued to US allies to do it themselves, is not indecision. It is the negative moment Hegel insisted was necessary for history to move. Only by withholding the old guarantee, and by saying so out loud to those who depended on it, can Trump hope to end the free ride.

    1. EXCERPT: “…..on Telegram, I posted this about Matt Gaetz and Tim Burchett (referencing their quotes in the first video above):

My right as a citizen and human to know the truth overrides the gatekeepers’ interests for keeping this knowledge secret.

With stories like this, one must have razor sharp clarity. Here are all the possibilities:

      (1) Both Gaetz and Burchett are psychotically delusional.

      (2) Both are aware that they are knowingly deceiving us for some reason.

      (3) Both believe they are correct and truthful, but they are being fed false information from the same network, to intentionally mislead them (and us.)

      (3) (a) if this is a distraction, the next obvious questions are “From what” and “by whom” and “what’s their payoff”

      (4) they are telling the truth as they know it, and are not being misled by covert actors; but the objective truth is something different;

      (5) they are telling us something that is actually, objectively true.

      Here’s my problem with @timburchett ‘s reply:

I don’t recall anywhere in the Constitution where it says that members of Congress have a duty to maintain fealty to the gatekeepers. “To not say anything about what they have been shown.” Quite to the contrary: House Members have a sworn duty to We, the People. You, Rep. Burchett, are elected to act in our best interests—not yours, and not the gatekeepers.

If the reasoning tree above eventually leads to #5, then members of Congress have a DUTY to inform the public what they know, classified gatekeeping be damned.

and in all the movies about scientists thinking they can control their “creations”? it never works out for them or humanity.

  5. EXCERPT: “This week about 30,000 eggs from a North Carolina family farm arrived in Washington, destined for the White House Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn. The farm-to-table concept is an important tenet of the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement, expanding exposure to healthy eating habits and nutrition.

The eggs, supplied by Braswell Family Farms in Nashville for the fifth consecutive year, were highlighted by Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, who visited the fourth-generation operation earlier in the week to tour its laying hen flocks, grading facilities and processing plant.

The White House Easter Egg Roll, set to take place Monday, to be hosted by First Lady Melania Trump

Rollins posted a video of the shipment on her X account, praising the farm’s contribution as part of a journey from American farm families to the nation’s capital. Braswell Family Farms President Trey Braswell said the farm was honored to continue its role in the longstanding tradition.

The eggs, hard-boiled and hand-dyed, are donated through the American Egg Board on behalf of the nation’s egg producers. The White House Easter Egg Roll, which will take place Monday, April 6, will be hosted by First Lady Melania Trump, and marks the 148th annual Easter Egg Roll.

This year, the event will incorporate patriotic themes tied to America’s 250th anniversary

Real eggs have been central to the egg-rolling races on the South Lawn since the event began in 1878. While wooden or plastic eggs serve as souvenirs and keepsakes in modern celebrations, the core activity relies on donated, domestically produced eggs.

Officials have emphasized that the quantity used for the White House event represents just a small fraction of national supply and does not strain retail availability. The shipment was framed as part of the “Great American Egg Road Trip,” showcasing the farm-to-table story behind the holiday tradition…..”

  6. Another promise kept…..

Just The News: “President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday calling for 100% tariffs on name-brand pharmaceuticals that are produced overseas as the Trump administration looks to bolster drug manufacturing in the U.S.

The executive order comes after Trump made a similar move last year, in which the president warned he would place 100% tariffs on pharmacuetical products unless the company was building its plant in the United States.

“Despite being the world leader in research and development for most innovative pharmaceuticals … The United States is heavily reliant on imports, threatening to limit United States access to life-saving medications in the event of global supply chain disruption due to geopolitical or economic disruption,” the order reads.

The European Union, Japan, Liechtenstein, South Korea, Switzerland and the United Kingdom are exempt from the new duties because of existing trade deals with the U.S., which Trump claimed “further United States economic and national security interests.”

The president said he was authorizing the tariffs under the Trade Act of 1974 and section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962, which were not targeted in a recent Supreme Court order that invalidated Trump’s orders under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.”

  7. Ahhh! This article explains the problems with Bondi! I would have preferred Gaetz but I think he had secrets he didn’t want exposed maybe?

EXCERPT: “….Howell said the real victories have been few.

“In place of actual actions you have been celebrations that I think are unwarranted. Like if you look at the FBI, it’s been all ‘Mission Accomplished’ over there and the claim that it’s been rebuilt from the ground up, but that’s just not true whatsoever,” he said.

Bondi critics charge there has been too much deference paid to the old guard at the FBI and the Justice Department. The Oversight Project has been a lead investigator in the autopen scandal of the Biden years. Much evidence suggests President Joe Biden’s inner circle signed off on a glut of clemency orders — more than 4,200, smashing previous records for presidential pardons, commutations and remissions and respites. Biden’s acts of clemency covered members of his corrupt family, government crushers of individual liberties, and some very violent criminals.

The get-out-of-jail-free card winners included a career criminal “who admitted to killing someone on camera and has a long rap sheet of violent crimes,” according to the Oversight Project. Howell and his team urged Bondi and the DOJ to stop the release of the “illegitimate” clemency orders through a disqualifying use of the autopen.

“There are a lot of violent criminals whose sentences were shortened by the autopen that this DOJ continues to release,” Howell said. “It’s been happening like clockwork and we’ve been shouting from the mountains tops:…..”

“……Howell said the next AG must be run by a “vicious operator” if there is any hope for accountability.

“You need somebody who is not going to care what the liberal press thinks of them, what the rank and file of these departments and angencies will think of them, and how they’ll be framed as an institutionalist,” he said. “No, you need someone who is there primarily to get the job done and roll up their sleeves.”

A guy like Gaetz, who approaches his job with a “burn the ships” mentality, Howell said……”

  9. For people of faith – beware! You might want to keep an eye out for this creeping into YOUR church! I’ve found that far too often, the very religious tend to be gullible – too many will fall for this. However, I do have to say: this whole AI business scares the crap out of me!

“The Missionaries of AI Doom: How EA-linked groups are paying faith communities to carry their regulatory agenda.”

    Jordan Schachtel, Apr 03, 2026

EXCERPT: “The Effective Altruist machine has a new congregation to recruit: American religious communities. And it’s paying handsomely for access to their pews, as long as faith communities adopt the publicly unpopular AI Doomer agenda.

The Future of Life Institute — the EA-aligned leftist nonprofit best known for its ruthless insistence that America must force industry to “pause AI” indefinitely — has launched a formal grant program targeting religious organizations across every major faith tradition. The program, titled “Request for Proposals on religious projects tackling the challenges posed by the AGI race,” offers individual grants of $30,000 to $300,000, with a stated mission to recruit faith communities into “the fight for a positive AI future.” Of course, this involves aligning with the group’s preferred framing for its longstanding campaign to slow innovation in AI through crushing regulation and attempts at creating institutional paralysis.

That the Future of Life Institute is writing checks to clergy deserves a moment of reflection. The EA movement that bankrolls FLI is not known for its religiosity, to put it mildly. It is a community built around utilitarians and secular technocrats who have more in common with Code Pink organizers than with any churchgoer. Some of its most prominent figures have been associated with the polyamorous “rationalist” subculture of the Bay Area. It’s fair to say that it’s a social scene not typically found in the front pews of evangelical megachurches or LDS wards. The EA ecosystem produced Sam Bankman-Fried, not Billy Graham. That these same networks are now presenting themselves as natural partners to faith communities should raise an obvious question: is any of this genuine, or is it simply the most politically useful audience left to capture?…..”

  11. The Western Journal: “A cold case from another era finally reached its conclusion this week in Gila County, Arizona. On Wednesday, the Gila County Sheriff’s Office announced via news release that Christina Marie Plante, who was 13 when she disappeared from Star Valley, Arizona, in 1994, has been found alive. The Sheriff’s Office posted a copy of the news release to Facebook.

“Christina was reported missing after she vanished without a trace from her community,” the press release read. “At the time of her disappearance, extensive search efforts were conducted involving local law enforcement, volunteers, and regional resources. Despite exhaustive ground searches, interviews, and investigative follow-up, no viable leads were developed.”

The Sheriff’s office credited the subsequent formation of its own cold case unit, which led to “new leads” and eventually a “breakthrough.”

“Investigators have confirmed her identity,” the press release noted. As for what happened to Plante nearly 32 years ago, authorities remained mum. “Out of respect for Christina’s privacy and well-being,” the press release indicated, “additional details will not be released at this time.”

The Facebook post also included a flier with a picture of Plante as she looked around the time of her disappearance. The flyer included the word “LOCATED” in large red letters beneath and partially overlapping the photo. According to the flyer, Plante disappeared on May 15, 1994, at 12:30 in the afternoon. “She left home on foot to go to the stable where her horse was and [was] not seen again,” the flyer read. Finally, the flyer described then-13-year-old Christina as “Missing/Endangered and under suspicious circumstances.”

Meanwhile, the full circumstances of Plante’s disappearance remain a mystery.

Reporter Jose Gonzalez of The Arizona Republic apparently uncovered an October 1994 flyer published in a Pennsylvania newspaper that described the girl’s disappearance as a stranger abduction. But authorities have not confirmed as much.

Most Facebook users reacted to the news with gratitude. Some, however, speculated about what might have happened to a teenage girl who, for context’s sake, disappeared early in President Bill Clinton’s first term, one month and two days before the late accused murderer O.J. Simpson’s infamous Bronco chase.

“Obviously, we’re all gonna be curious on what the circumstances were for the last 32 years. Maybe they’ll release them at some point,” one Facebook user wrote. “Doesnt mean she hasnt been through severe trauma from age 13 til … Maybe someone kidnapped her and gave her just the best life … Its highly unlikely. Gave the gurl Stockholm Syndrome!” another Facebook user wrote.

Another user guessed that Plante ran away from home. “Obviously something went down and she left for a reason. Glad she’s alive and well,” the user wrote.

Authorities have not indicated when — or if — they will provide details about what happened to Plante.”

  12. EXCERPT: “Major Big Pharma companies have abruptly halted their latest COVID-19 mRNA “booster” trial because they literally couldn’t find enough willing participants.

After years of gaslighting the American public, raking in hundreds of billions in profits from experimental shots that were shoved down our throats under the guise of “public health,” the same corporations that partnered with the Biden regime, Anthony Fauci, and the lying mainstream media are now facing the cold, hard reality: Americans are done being lab rats.

According to internal letters sent to trial investigators and obtained by Reuters, Pfizer is ending its study of “updated” shots in healthy adults aged 50 to 64. The company admitted it was “unable to generate relevant data” because recruitment had effectively hit a brick wall. Reports indicate that more than 80% of potential recruits didn’t even make it past pre-screening, or simply refused to participate.

The trial, which aimed to enroll a massive 25,000 to 30,000 participants, folded after failing to meet even the most basic enrollment targets. This comes at a time when the “science” is being scrutinized like never before. Under the current administration, the FDA has been pressured to actually require randomized placebo-controlled trials, the very thing skeptics have been demanding for years.

It seems that when Big Pharma actually has to play by the rules and prove efficacy to a skeptical public, they simply can’t find the “volunteers” anymore.

Pfizer isn’t the only one feeling the heat. Moderna is reportedly facing similar “recruitment challenges” for its own 30,000-person study…..”

🚨BREAKING: SCOTUS Justice Sam Alito issues a MASSIVE national security warning about birthright citizenship for illegal immigrants:

Chinese, Iranian, or Russian illegal immigrants could have children in the US, and those American citizens would then have a duty to fight for a foreign country!

Supreme Court justice Alito: “They have the duty of military service. It seems that makes them subject to a FOREIGN POWER!”

“Not subject to any foreign power is pretty straightforward. So let me give you these examples. A boy is born here to an Iranian father who has entered the country illegally.”

“That boy is automatically an Iranian national at birth and he has a duty to provide military service to the Iranian government, is he not subject to any foreign power?”

  16. “When Winning Requires Sacrifice: Dr. Robert Malone Just Resigned From ACIP. It’s Not Something We Should Be Proud Of.”

Dr. Robert W. Malone, Apr 03, 2026. Author: Tiffany Ryder

EXCERPT: “Most people think leaving is failure. I used to believe that too – right up until the night a twenty-three-year-old walked into my ER, and I realized I could no longer be a part of what I was watching. A previously healthy young woman had stumbled into my ER unable to speak clearly, with sudden weakness on one side of her body. Her presentation was textbook for stroke – but obviously it had to be something else, because she was twenty-three.

Advanced brain imaging showed multiple small strokes. Some were fresh. Some had been there for hours, maybe days. I grilled her and her mom on her medical history, family history, recent injuries, recent drug use. Nothing surfaced. Mom explained the only thing new was a pharmaceutical product her university had mandated she take before she could start the new semester. When was that? A week ago.

It was then I knew there was nothing I could really do. I could diagnose her. Stabilize her. Get neurology involved. But none of that would fix what had happened. And none of it would touch why it was allowed to happen in the first place.

I couldn’t even document it properly. There was no diagnostic code to capture what I was looking at. (Spoiler alert: there wouldn’t be one for years.) She wouldn’t become a statistic, because her injury wouldn’t be trackable. There would be no accountability – almost as if it never happened at all.

That’s the machine. That’s how it works. It doesn’t just harm people – it makes the harm almost invisible. It protects itself by making sure anyone who sees it clearly, pays a price for saying so. So most of the time they remain silent.

A few months later, I left clinical practice. Not to step back, but to fight from outside instead of greasing its wheels from within. It felt like failure.

What I eventually understood is that sometimes the most powerful thing you can do to save people is to loudly refuse to participate in the sham. Most people never leave. Not because they can’t see the problem, but because leaving costs too much. So they stay.

They tell themselves that patience is strategy, that palatable is powerful, that one day they’ll have earned enough trust to change things from the inside. And the machine lets them believe that because people who believe are useful. They make the machine look legitimate. They make harm look manageable. Movements built on that instinct don’t reform anything meaningfully.

The machine doesn’t come for those who stay silent. It comes for the ones who refuse to. Robert Malone learned this the hard way. Twice…..”

The second aircraft has been identified as an A-10 Warthog attack plane.
