The State Motto that appears on the State Seal is the Greek word Eureka – which means “I have found it!” These famous words were supposed to have been uttered by the ancient Greek scientist Archimedes (c. 287-212 B.C.E.) when conducting an experiment to measure the specific gravity of gold.
During the 1849 California State Constitutional Convention at Monterey, the delegates had to agree upon a design for the Great Seal of California, which included a representative motto. They were following in the tradition adopted by other states. Since the seal’s design included a gold miner, it seemed most fitting to the delegates to adopt this phrase as the State Motto. It became the official State Motto in 1963. Seventeen California locations bear the name Eureka.

Good Morning All!
temps stayed around 28*-30* overnight so the remaining ice pellets seems to be melting. weird weather.
see what today brings. gotta make a big banana run this afternoon. Hubby says we’re just about out of coffee–and hell no–that’s not allowed…LOL

Good morning, Pat! My goodness, no! Can’t survive w/o coffee!!! In fact, I think I’ll brew a pot and drink it for a while instead of hot tea since I’ve got some creamer left. 39 here this morning and cloudy, a little bit of fog. Wheezer ate most of the food overnight – it’s been refilled w/a topping of tuna. I’ve also removed the window insulation from the patio doors – it’s time. Still not seeing any sparrows, finches or woodpeckers but I’ve noticed more robins lately. Drive carefully this afternoon!

Good Morning Filly!
we’ve got woodpeckers–red headed males and females. The females are visiting the feeder. They watched the other birds and at first only ate the seeds on the deck. then they made it up to the feeder/tray and tasted the peanuts…lol…they were hooked. but the males only sit on the railing occasionally and watch.

Good Morning Gina!
A brief history lesson (you can certainly skip this if you want)
Before cv, we (Marica, Filly, and I and others) were all commenters at a site called The Q Tree (today i refer to it as “wolf’s”). A man there Patrick Henry Censored (PHC) found out he was dying and the comments started surrounding him instead of current events, so Marica started her site and many people posted at both sites, but it was mainly about him in the beginning. After he passed, Marica continued, but there were conflicts and I started my site. My first post here iirc was entitled Mean Girls. (that should tell you all you need to know).
Back to “banana run”…during cv we would make a weekly run to the grocery store to especially buy bananas and fresh fruit, veggies rather than writing grocery store trip. We live in a small town and the only walmart is almost an hour away and the little store attached to the gas station in our town is expensive, but if you only needed bananas it was okay…it became banana run as a joke.

Thanks for the background, appreciated.
I was at OT sundance but we couldn’t talk about Q? so I went down the 8chan/kun rabbit hole. First I tracked duchess down to Qtree. Then I found you, marica and sylvia. Each site so distinctive. Reminds me of the quote “In My Father’s house there are many rooms . . .”
Ah, banana run isn’t necessarily WM. Got it. 🍌 lol In my last WM order I got bananas cuz you get them. and glazed donuts cuz Filly does. lol

right… SD is always the smartest person in his hemisphere…lol…and Q was distracting.
I still read and bring stuff from there, but once I posted at wolf’s he banned me.
we normally buy in bulk at wm for at least 2 weeks and use the little market in town for bread, milk, bananas in between.

Excellent! In addition…..good riddance!!!!
Just the News: “Texas GOP Rep. Dan Crenshaw became the first incumbent to lose his primary Tuesday night, after challenger Texas state Rep. Steve Toth won the nomination with 56% of the vote, compared to Crenshaw’s 40%.
Crenshaw was the only Republican incumbent in Texas to seek reelection without President Donald Trump’s endorsement, according to the Associated Press. Trump did not endorse Toth, who did earn the backing of Sen. Ted Cruz.
The incumbent has broken with Trump multiple times recently, including by condemning the January 6 riot and Trump’s claims that he won the 2020 presidential election instead of former President Joe Biden.
Toth, who is running to represent Texas’ second congressional district, will face Democrat Shaun Finnie in November.”

Teaching my daughter about payroll withholding
She did chores all week so I owe her $10
I hand her $7
> this isn’t $10
“right, I withheld the rest”
> what does that mean
“I kept $3 of your money”
> but it’s my money
“It was your money”
> what are you even doing with it?
“Funding household infrastructure”
> what
“The roof over your head. The hallway you walk through to get to the bathroom. The door locks that keep strangers out”
> you’re charging me for the hallway
“I’m charging you for access to the hallway. The hallway itself was a capital expenditure”
> you’re my dad. you’re supposed to—
“I’m also your government”
> what if I don’t want to pay for the hallway
“Then I can’t guarantee the hallway”
> it’s a hallway. It’s already there
“For now”
She asks what else the $3 covers
“Meals, dispute resolution, nightlight maintenance”
> dispute resolution?
“When your brother takes your toys and I make him give them back. That’s taxpayer funded”
> that’s just parenting
“That’s the Department of Justice”
> what about meals. You already feed me
“That’s a social program. Not everyone qualifies”
> I’m your daughter
“Which is why you’re currently enrolled”
She wants to see where the money goes
I tell her that would require a FOIA request
> what’s that
“A form asking me to show you what I do with your money. Processing time is 6 to 8 weeks”
> 6 weeks to see where my $3 went?
“Could be longer. We’re understaffed”
> there’s two of you
She asks how she gets any of it back
“It’s already spent”
> you spent my money already?
“We had a budget shortfall”
> you just took it 20 seconds ago
“And the deficit existed 30 seconds ago. The timing worked out”
> so I’m not getting it back
“I didn’t say that. You might qualify for a refund”
> of my own money
“Correct. You just have to fill out a form telling me how much you made”
> you know how much I made. You paid me
“Right but I need you to tell me how much I paid you”
> so you already know the answer
“The point is compliance”
She asks what happens if she gets the number wrong
“Penalty”
> from the money I don’t have because you already spent it?
“We could set up a payment plan”
> I’m 8
“Monthly installments. Very manageable”
> you’re going to penalize me for getting wrong a number you already know and then make me pay you back with money you took from me
“Now you’re getting it”
> I want to talk to mom
“Mom’s not a qualified representative. She can’t help you here”
She stormed off to her room saying how this is extortion
Slammed the door
That’s my little citizen
I’ve never been more proud

ethics complaint filed in NY against NJ Governor Sherrill (who is a registered lawyer in NY) for telling people to video ICE in action to help illegals escape.
FTA
The complaint, exclusively obtained by The Daily Signal, cites portions of the Rules of Professional Conduct, which state that a lawyer may face discipline for “illegal conduct that adversely reflects on the lawyer’s honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer,” or for “conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation.”
The letter cites 8 U.S.C. Section 1324, which imposes up to a 10-year prison sentence or a fine on anyone who “conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection,” an alien who “has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law.”
Sherrill went on “The Daily Show” in January, outlining her plan to launch a portal for Garden State residents to report ICE activity.
“If you see an ICE agent in the street, get your phone out,” she told the host and her audience. She announced that the state government would create a “portal” to allow people to “upload all their cellphone videos” to “alert people” to ICE’s presence.
“Sherrill has taken the first step toward concealing illegal aliens in New Jersey by calling for people to video any ICE activity and to alert the New Jersey government via web portal,” the complaint states. “Alerting people can be for no other reason than to allow undocumented immigrants time to clear out of their location. The effort can be interpreted in no other way than to prevent ICE from detaining immigrants who are the subject of their search.”
“This violates the explicit language of the federal criminal statute referenced above,” the complaint states. “It is ‘deceit[ful]’ to use the power of government to prevent the federal government from being able to perform their operations. Additionally, it is unbecoming of a lawyer to use her power under the law to undermine federal law.”

Cornyn held the lead Tuesday night, receiving 43% of the vote, compared to Paxton’s 40.5%, according to the Associated Press. Texas GOP Rep. Wesley Hunt finished in third with 12.9% of the vote and did not advance to the runoff. The runoff election will take place May 26, 2026, and the winner will advance to November’s general election.
The winner will face State Rep. James Talarico, who easily defeated U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett in the fiercely contested Democratic primary.”

Outstanding news!!!! A big yeah for parental rights!!!!
EXCERPT: “A majority of the Supreme Court is finally losing patience with lower courts it perceives as looking for ways around both long-established and recent precedents, tacitly answering complaints by more conservative justices that the high court was routinely ignoring rulings that flagrantly violate its precedents.
In an emergency order Tuesday night, six justices rebuked the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for blocking a permanent injunction against California’s so-called gender secrecy policies, which require school districts to hide students’ gender confusion from their parents and even falsely tell parents their children aren’t presenting as the opposite sex at school.
Reportedly the most overturned federal appellate court since 2007, the 9th Circuit “brushed aside” last summer’s parental rights precedent Mahmoud, wrongly limiting its application to school curricular decisions, while relying on a nonbinding opinion from the nearly-as-overturned 6th Circuit, the unsigned opinion says.
The plaintiffs are likely to succeed on their First Amendment free exercise claim because California’s policies “substantially interfere with the ‘right of parents to guide the religious development of their children,’” the majority said, quoting Mahmoud and the 1972 Amish school opt-out precedent Yoder upon which it’s based.
The justices marveled that the 9th Circuit refused to apply “strict scrutiny,” the most stringent legal standard for the government to meet, despite the fact that California’s “unconsented facilitation of a child’s gender transition” is a greater attack on parental rights than the “LGBTQ storybooks” in Mahmoud, also subject to strict scrutiny.
This is “the most significant parental rights ruling in a generation,” said the Thomas More Society, representing the plaintiffs.
“The Court’s landmark reaffirmation of substantive due process, its vindication of religious liberty, and its approval of class-wide relief together set a historic precedent that will dismantle secret gender transition policies across the country,” special counsel Paul Jonna said…..”

NF: I seem to recall another time when this was attempted and it was during the verification process that they conducted their fraud….we’ll see if it happens again…..
EXCERPT: “An initiative imposing new voter identification requirements in California is one step closer to getting on the ballot.
Roughly 1.35 million signatures were collected during the effort to get the California Voter ID initiative on the Nov. 3 general election ballot. That’s well over the 800,000 signatures that were required. The initiative petitions will now go to the secretary of state to verify the signatures later this week.
The new initiative would require voters to show one of several forms of identification, according to supporters during a press conference on Tuesday morning.
Those who vote by mail would have to write the last four digits of their identification number on their ballot for it to be counted. The numbers would be from a form of identification of the voter’s choice.
State lawmakers who advocated for the measure said the effort has drawn bipartisan support.
“Voter ID is one of those rare opportunities, one of those rare issues, where Democrats, Republicans and everyone in between all agree,” Assemblymember Carl DeMaio, R-San Diego, said during the press conference outside the Capitol in Sacramento. “There are a lot of concerning discrepancies in our election practices.”
California Secretary of State Shirley Weber and county election officials would also be required to verify voter registration using government data, according to the group backing the initiative. Under current state law, voters don’t have to show identification at the polls when they vote…..”

I’ll expect to hear of his death soon…..
Just The News: “Widespread media reports show that Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, the son of Iran’s slayed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has either been chosen to replace his father or was the clear front-runner to do so.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, 86, was killed Saturday, at the start of the U.S. and Israeli bombing campaign in Tehran, the Iranian capital.
The younger Khamenei, aged 56, has long been seen as a “shadow power” in Iran, rarely seen in public but an influential, hard-line figure behind the scenes in terms of domestic and international policy and strategy. If he is indeed selected to replace his father, it would be seen as a major blow to reformers inside the country as well as to Iranian opposition efforts from outside the country.
President Donald Trump has said one of the goals of the four-day-old U.S.-led campaign against Iran is to topple the ruling regime. If that does not happen immediately, it means that whoever emerges as Iran’s next Supreme Leader will be just the third person to hold that position since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, which deposed Mohammad Reza Pahlavi as Shah.
Iran’s first Supreme Leader was Ruhollah Khomeini, who ruled for ten years. He was replaced by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was Supreme Leader from 1989 until his death Saturday.”

“The fiercely contested primary – unfolding in a state Democrats have not carried statewide in more than three decades – drew record-level turnout and outsized national attention. It was also clouded by confusion over voting in Dallas county, the state’s second largest and Crockett’s home base.
Earlier in the evening, Crockett said her campaign planned to file a lawsuit over the voting issues. “I can tell you now that people have been disenfranchised,” she told supporters at her election night event in Dallas.
Pissed off like nobody’s business and in complete disbelief that she could actually be a loser, she stormed out of her own campaign headquarters, saying ‘You won’t see me back here again.’ She had played ‘the race card’ six or seven different times in just the last week to no great effect. Maybe she’s better off on the smaller stage in Congress. Maybe we’re all better off. Juss’ sayin’…
“I should start to post some more of the ‘quirkier’ places out and about here in Florida – there are just SO many of them. I mentioned Micanopy the other day, here’s another one.
On the road from Cape Coral to Pine Island, just west of Ft. Myers, you drive through the quirky, colorful little hobbit ‘town’ of Matlacha, which is bouncing back after being devastated by Hurricane Ian. Matlacha is a census-designated place in Lee County, Florida, United States. The tiny little island had a population of 598 at the 2020 census, down from 677 at the 2010 census.”

“Clothing retailer Eddie Bauer is continuing to wind down its brick-and-mortar operations after news broke earlier this year that it would be closing all US and Canadian stores.
According to Bloomberg, the retailer has set a deadline for customers to redeem any remaining credits in store. Customers have until March 12 to use any outstanding gift cards or Adventure Points. All sales made are final and purchases can’t be exchanged or returned.
Their closing is a perfect example of a company who digs in their heals on style and is incapable of changing along with the market. It’s the reason why retail shopping is being changed forever by the internet. Brick and mortar retailers may be a thing of the past in the future, if that makes sense.”

“Lithuania’s 1992 basketball team carried far more than athletic ambition, they were representing a nation newly reborn after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The country was financially devastated, its institutions still forming, and its athletes suddenly without the deep state funding the USSR had once provided. Basketball, however, was woven into Lithuania’s identity, and several players had just helped the Soviet team win gold in 1988.
Competing under their own flag for the first time was a matter of pride, but the federation simply couldn’t afford the trip to Barcelona. When American sportswriters highlighted their struggle, the story reached an unlikely audience: the Grateful Dead.
The band, moved by Lithuania’s fight for independence and charmed by the players’ underdog spirit, stepped in with a donation that covered travel, gear, and a set of now‑iconic tie‑dye uniforms created by artist Greg Speirs.
The look became a symbol of freedom and rebellion, perfect for a team shaking off decades of Soviet control. Powered by both talent and a sense of national rebirth, Lithuania stormed through the tournament and won the bronze medal, defeating the Unified Team made up of former Soviet republics.
Their victory wasn’t just athletic; it was poetic, a moment when sport, politics, and counterculture collided in one unforgettable story.”

“The moment you know your day is about to go sideways in Florida…
It’s when you spot a sandhill crane standing somewhere it absolutely shouldn’t be. Not in a marsh. Not near a lake. Right in the middle of your driveway like it owns the deed.
In Florida, this isn’t a bird. This is a dinosaur with legal protection. You slow down, hoping it’ll move. It doesn’t. You tap your horn gently. It stares. You inch the car forward. It takes one slow step toward you like, “Go ahead. Try me.”
You consider calling in late to work. Suddenly your schedule feels flexible. The crane just watches. Silent. Still. Calculating. Like it knows you pay property taxes and it does not — yet somehow you’re the guest.
And then it happens — the warning signs. The wings spread wide. The neck stretches out. The prehistoric scream echoes across the subdivision. That’s when you understand: you’re not backing out anymore. You’re in a standoff. A sandhill crane has decided this is nesting territory, and you are a minor inconvenience.
Tourists think Florida wildlife means alligators. Floridians know better. Alligators float quietly. Sharks stay offshore. But a sandhill crane will chase you across your own lawn like you borrowed money and never paid it back. They don’t run at you like an animal. They stride. Confident. Unbothered. Protected by state law and pure audacity.
So you do what every Floridian does in this situation: You put the car in park. You wait it out. You accept that you are not the apex species in this HOA. Because the truth is simple: In Florida, the crane doesn’t move for you. You move for the crane. That’s Life in Florida…”

Last week, former State Senator Sonya Jaquez Lewis was sentenced to probation and community service after being convicted of four felonies including Attempt to Influence a Public Official. She made a horrible mistake, and she was wrong. I hope she learns from this and can rebuild her life. As someone who has known Sonya as a friend for many years, on a personal level I was glad to hear she isn’t going to prison which is a hard place for anyone, no less a retired 68-year old pharmacist.
But it is not lost on me that she was convicted of the exact same felony charge as Tina Peters — attempting to influence a public official — and yet Tina Peters, as a non-violent first time offender got a nine year sentence. Justice in Colorado and America needs to be applied evenly, you never know when you might need to depend on the rule of law. This is the context I am using as I consider cases like this that have sentencing disparities, which is why I have extended the deadline for clemency applications until April 3rd. I will be making decisions on these cases throughout the remainder of my governorship.

“Declassified Documents Link U.S. Bioweapons Program to Lyme Disease Outbreak — Exclusive: Military released 282,800 radioactive ticks, suppressed co-infection research for 40 years”
Dr. Robert W. Malone, Mar 04, 2026
EXCERPT: “An extensive investigation based on declassified government documents and previously suppressed scientific research has uncovered compelling evidence that U.S. biological weapons programs contributed to the emergence of Lyme disease, which now affects hundreds of thousands of Americans annually.
The investigation reveals a pattern of concealment spanning six decades, including the systematic suppression of critical medical research and the release of nearly 300,000 radioactive ticks across Virginia to study how the disease-carrying insects would spread.
CIA Deployed Infected Ticks Against Cuba
Declassified documents and testimony from a CIA operative describe the 1962 deployment of infected ticks against Cuban sugarcane workers as part of Operation Mongoose, the Kennedy administration’s effort to destabilize Fidel Castro’s regime.
The operative, now in his seventies, told researchers that the “strangest thing he ever did was drop infected ticks on Cuban sugarcane workers” using C-123 transport aircraft flying nighttime missions “almost skimming the surface of the Caribbean to avoid Cuban radar.”
After returning from Cuba, the operative’s four-month-old son developed life-threatening fever requiring emergency surgery. His CIA commander advised him to “burn all the clothes you took to Cuba. Burn everything,” indicating contamination concerns….”

An 18-year-old Afghan national has been arrested in Watervliet in connection with what police described as a targeted, “ethnicity-motivated” assault at a home that investigators are treating as a hate crime.
The Watervliet Police Department said Hossein Haidar forced his way into a neighbor’s home and violently dragged the victim out during an attack on March 1, 2026. Police said the assault was directed at the victim’s Pakistani nationality and ethnic background and followed a heated argument the previous day about ongoing political and military tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan. During the assault, police said Haidar made explicit derogatory statements about the victim’s Pakistani nationality and ethnic background.

A U.S. Navy attack submarine has sunk an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean, the Pentagon has confirmed. Authorities in Sri Lanka had earlier announced they had rescued Iranian sailors from the Moudge class frigate IRIS Dena after what they said appeared to be a submarine attack. This is the first known attack by an American submarine on a surface warship since World War II and the first such action anywhere since the Churchill class HMS Conqueror sank the Argentine Navy cruiser ARA General Belgrano during the Falklands War in 1982. As powerful as modern torpedoes are these days, I bet the “boom” was catastrophic.”

Ghazali runs Houston Quran Academy & Houston Qur’an Academy Spring – poised for TEFA funds:
$10,474 per child (official 2026–27 TEA amount for private school students).
Up to $30K for students with disabilities.
No real checks on curriculum, ideology, or terror links.
NOW, as we predicted:
Muslim parent Mehdi Cherkaoui (Houston attorney) sued Texas officials
in Case 4:26-cv-01675 (filed March 1, 2026), claiming “religious
discrimination.”
His kids attend Ghazali’s Houston Qur’an Academy Spring.
He pays ~$18K tuition yearly for both.
He wants $10,474+ per child (over $20K total) in vouchers.
Claims: State “systematically targets” & excludes accredited
Islamic schools based on faith & presumed terror ties (e.g., CAIR
events — CAIR designated terrorist org by Gov. Abbott, Nov. 2025) —
without proof.
Zero accredited Islamic schools approved — despite over 2,000 schools signed up overall (many Christian).
Demands: Immediate approvals + injunction before March 17, 2026 deadline (11:59 p.m. CT), plus damages/fees.

dems write bill to provide sanctuaries across the country where ICE is not allowed to pursue illegals–like libraries, hospitals, schools, welfare centers–trying to tie ICE’S hands. disgusting POS.
FTA
At the State of the Union address, congressional Democrats affirmed that they do not believe the government’s first duty is to protect U.S. citizens. When they all remained seated, it was a rare moment of honesty for a party that abandoned the best interests of Americans long ago.
One need look no further for evidence than the fact that 30 Democrats are cosponsoring a bill to make schools and hospitals safe havens for illegal immigrants. Called the Protecting Sensitive Locations Act (PSLA), the bill would prohibit any “immigration enforcement actions” within 1,000 feet of a school, daycare, playground, hospital, or doctor’s office.
The PSLA would create a huge incentive for illegal immigrants to be present at places full of children, patients, and those responsible for caring for them. This makes it especially concerning that both the National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers have thrown their support behind the policy. Students and patients would be less safe as illegal immigrants, beyond the reach of ICE, flood schools, hospitals, churches, and surrounding neighborhoods.
The bill would also tie up law enforcement with needless red tape. The PSLA would create an impossible and ever-changing map of where ICE can and cannot carry out its mission. Especially in high-density urban centers, ICE officials would be forced to make decisions based not on what is best for public safety but instead on proximity to the nearest urgent care or preschool.
The bill also turns public libraries, courthouses, and houses of worship into safe zones for illegal immigrants. Most egregiously, it also includes welfare offices and active sites of a “march, rally, or parade.” The bill’s supporters want to ensure no one stands in the way of illegal immigrants getting public benefits or rallying for leftist causes.
If activists wanted to protect a group of illegal immigrants, all they’d need to do is protest within 1,000 feet of whomever they wanted to shield from arrest. With this policy in place, an untold number of “libraries” and “parades” would spring into existence. The PSLA would render ICE useless under the pretext of reform, allowing exceptions only for “exigent circumstances,” such as catching a suspect who is an imminent terror threat.

Just The News: “The House Oversight Committee voted Wednesday afternoon to subpoena Attorney General Pam Bondi as part of its investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, which will force her to testify about her handling of the Justice Department’s probe.
Five Republicans voted with all Democrats on the panel to subpoena the attorney general, and the effort to subpoena Bondi was led by South Carolina GOP Rep. Nancy Mace, per Politico.
“We’re gonna be talking about real, substantive issues, like the 65,000 documents that are being hidden by the DOJ right now,” Mace told reporters after the vote. Reps. Lauren Boebert of Colorado, Scott Perry of Pennsylvania, Tim Burchett of Tennessee and Michael Cloud of Texas also voted with the panel’s Democrats.
Bondi has faced intense public criticism over the department’s handling of the Epstein issue since a 2025 stunt she orchestrated in which she distributed binders of largely public information on Jeffrey Epstein to a group of influencers. Her so-called “Phase 1” prompted considerable backlash, as did her previous claims to have had the Epstein client list on her desk. The White House later insisted that Bondi had been referring to the volume of Epstein-related documents.”

“To Save Time, Iran Appoints Supreme Leader Who Is Already Dead”
Politics · Mar 4, 2026 · BabylonBee.com
TEHRAN — Following the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and a significant portion of the nation’s leadership, the Assembly of Experts, charged with choosing the next Ayatollah, have opted to appoint a new supreme leader who is already dead.
“He’s just going to end up dead anyway,” said noted Assembly of Experts member Aziz Mahabad shortly before he was taken out by a tomahawk missile. “So in a way, our new supreme leader is invulnerable. America can do nothing to him.”
Iran’s new leader, Ayatollah Fulān, is reportedly the corpse of an unidentified male who they believe possesses a keen masculine energy. “We don’t know who Fulān was before, but he’s really doing a dynamite job so far, no pun intended,” said interim President Masoud Pezeshkian shortly before he was blown apart by a stealth bomber. “He hasn’t ordered anyone to be tortured or beheaded at all. He might be our greatest supreme leader ever!”
According to American sources, Secretary of State Marco Rubio has already met with Supreme Leader Fulān on two separate occasions. “He has a great silent wit,” Rubio said. “I think negotiations are going well and we may soon see an end to this conflict.”
At publishing time, American forces received a significant blow to morale when Supreme Leader Fulān was bombed, but remained in control of his government.

“America Graciously Converts 20 Iranian Warships Into New Submarines”
World · Mar 4, 2026 · BabylonBee.com
PERSIAN GULF — In a sign of enormous good will, American forces helpfully converted 20 Iranian warships into submarines.
“Several Iranian warships are now sitting at the bottom of the Persian Gulf,” reported War Secretary Pete Hegseth. “We hope the Iranian people take this complimentary act as a sign of good faith on our part that we are eager to resume negotiations and end this conflict.”
As part of Operation Epic Fury, American submarines approached several Iranian frigates and corvette-class ships under the cover of darkness to carefully convert them to submersible watercraft with the use of Mk-48 heavyweight torpedoes.
“Did you know Iran had zero submarines? Zero submarines, it’s true,” President Trump said, following the successful mission. “Now they have at least twenty and more on the way. You’re welcome, Iran!”
Unfortunately, according to sources, Iranian leadership had not interpreted the American’s benevolent gift as well as Trump had hoped. In fact, the latest intel suggests Iran didn’t like their ships being sent to the depths of the ocean at all.
At publishing time, President Trump, though hurt by Iran’s ungratefulness, vowed to helpfully turn their city into a parking lot.

Oh, wow! A real icon of the game!
Just The News: “Iconic college football coach Lou Holtz, who spent 33 years leading teams including the University of Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish, died Wednesday in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 89.
Holtz, who was also known for being a friend of President Donald Trump, was surrounded by loved ones and had reportedly entered hospice in January. The football coach’s cause of death was not immediately clear.
“We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Lou Holtz,” current Notre Dame coach Marcus Freeman told NBC News in a statement. “Lou’s impact at Notre Dame has gone well beyond the football field. He and his wife, Beth, are respected across campus for their generous hearts and commitment to carry out Notre Dame’s mission.”
Holtz is survived by his wife Beth, four children, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.”

Just The News: “Senate Republicans successfully defeated a vote Wednesday on the Iran War Powers resolution, which would require President Donald Trump to make his case to Congress before taking additional military actions against Iran.
Virginia Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine forced the vote on the war powers resolution, which comes after the Senate voted down a similar effort when the U.S. bombed three Iranian nuclear sites last June.
The vote comes as the U.S. and Israel launched strikes against Iran over the weekend, killing its Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran has retaliated by launching missiles at Israel and U.S. military bases in the Middle East.
The motion to advance the resolution out of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee failed by a vote of 47-53, according to The Hill.”

EXCERPT: “In a resounding 95% mandate, Texas voters have declared war on Islam’s aggressive threat, awakening to the terror-linked networks and civilization jihad RAIR Foundation USA has relentlessly exposed for years—proving that when patriots unite with hard evidence, America fights back and wins.
DALLAS, TEXAS — In a powerful rebuke to growing concerns about the influence of Sharia-based ideology in the United States, Texas voters sent a clear and decisive message in the Republican primary by overwhelmingly supporting the mandate that “Texas should prohibit sharia [Islamic law].”
With approximately 95 percent support, this historic non-binding vote has elevated the issue of banning Sharia into a major political priority not only in Texas, but increasingly across the United States.
The result reflects a growing recognition among millions of Americans that Islam and Sharia conflict with core constitutional principles — including individual liberty, equality under the law, the separation of church and state, and the supremacy of the U.S. Constitution. As coverage of the primary has noted, the ballot proposition has crystallized a debate that was once considered niche, transforming it into a mainstream voting issue with potential implications for future state and federal policy.
The proposition, one of ten non-binding advisory questions included on the Republican primary ballot, functioned as an opinion poll intended to guide the Texas GOP’s legislative priorities heading into the 2027 legislative session. While the measure itself carries no immediate legal force, the overwhelming margin of support sends a powerful signal that voters expect lawmakers to reinforce constitutional supremacy and prevent any form of parallel legal system from gaining a foothold in Texas courts or institutions.
The goal now is to translate this mandate into concrete legislation prohibiting Sharia in Texas, ensuring the issue moves beyond a symbolic ballot question and into enforceable law…..”
