At our house we only made a gingerbread house once. I bought a kit and with minimal assistance from me, the kids assembled and decorated it. We left it in the center of the dining room table while they went up to their rooms to finish homework and I did some cleaning. The dog—a large yellow lab—jumped onto the table and bit a piece off. It obviously didn’t agree with him because he threw it up all over the rest of the house. End of gingerbread making at our house…lol
But I love to look at them! I offer for your consideration these gingerbread creations in several different competitive divisions. Which is YOUR favorite?

“NYT Declares John Fetterman As One Of The “Most Stylish” People Of 2022”
ENTIRE ARTICLE @ OANN: “OAN Newsroom
UPDATED 10:58 AM PT – Wednesday, December 14, 2022
“The New York Times has faced backlash for naming Senator-elect John Fetterman among this year’s most stylish people. The Pennsylvania Democrat is known for wearing very casual attire including hoodies, basketball shorts and sneakers. The hoodie-loving lawmaker made The New York Time’s list of the 93 “Most Stylish” people of 2022. On this year’s list, there are a few leftist favorites like Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Ma.), Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson of the Supreme Court and Mayor of New York City Eric Adams.
I kid you not, the NYT has listed John Fetterman as one of the most stylish people of 2022. 😏😳😳 pic.twitter.com/PHd5XAxL1a

Social media users mocked The Times for including Fetterman in its 2022 list, including his own wife Gisele Fetterman who called for a recount.
No, not @JohnFetterman !! Recount!!! https://t.co/80mfknsnay

Senator John Hawkins (R-Utah) believes that there’s no way Fetterman could be considered fashionable. Hawkins said Fetterman has a casual appearance that suggests he spends the entire day hanging out in a convenience store or vape shop. Representative Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) humorously tweeted in response to the announcement, “I not only have the best hair in Congress, but I brought Carhartt to Capitol Hill four years ago.”
Total liberal bias, @nytimes! I not only have the best hair in Congress, but I brought @Carhartt to Capitol Hill four years ago. https://t.co/iAYsteNJ1b

Other critics called the move insulting especially to other high-profile figures who made the exclusive list including the Late Queen Elizabeth.”

‘Corporate Greed at Its Worst’: 9 Utility Giants Dished Out $11 Billion to Shareholders as Consumers Struggled to Pay Bills — An analysis released Tuesday shows the nine largest U.S. energy utility companies raked in nearly $14 billion in combined profits during the first three quarters of 2021 — and dished out roughly $11 billion to their wealthy shareholders.
EXCERPT: “EXCERPT: “With colder winter weather looming, a new analysis released Tuesday shows that the nine largest energy utility companies in the U.S. raked in nearly $14 billion in combined profits during the first three quarters of this year — and dished out roughly $11 billion to their wealthy shareholders — as tens of millions of U.S. households struggled to pay their utility bills due to soaring costs.
The watchdog group Accountable.US found that NextEra Energy, Duke Energy, Southern Company, Dominion Energy, Constellation Energy, Eversource Energy, Entergy Corporation, DTE Energy and CMS Energy Corporation brought in $13.8 billion in the first nine months of this fiscal year.”

“mRNA Vaccines and COVID Linked to POTS, a Debilitating Condition Affecting Heart, Other Organs — According to a study published Monday in Nature Cardiovascular Research, COVID-19 and mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are linked to postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, or POTS, a debilitating autonomic nervous system disorder.”
EXCERPT: “According to a study published Monday in Nature Cardiovascular Research, COVID-19 and mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are linked to postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), a debilitating autonomic nervous system disorder. POTS symptoms include an elevated heart rate, dizziness, heart palpitations, fainting, lightheadedness, headaches, chest pain, brain fog, anxiety, depression and fatigue, among others.
Comparing POTS diagnoses 90 days prior to and following vaccine exposure, investigators found that some patients vaccinated against COVID-19 may develop POTS as a response to the shot. They also found that people diagnosed with COVID-19 are five times more likely to develop POTS after infection than those who developed it after vaccination. Several research studies previously confirmed POTS as one possible post-COVID-19 syndrome, but this research validates reports of POTS occurring after vaccination as well.
The investigators hypothesized that POTS might be associated with vaccines, given that vaccination elicits an immunological response to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. This research affirms that hypothesis. “We are able to more definitively say that we think that this [post-vaccination POTS] is a real observation,” lead investigator Dr. Alan Kwan told TCTMD.
“It doesn’t quite bring it to the point of being able to tell an individual patient, ‘This is what your specific odds of POTS are after a vaccination,’ but we believe this essentially brings some validity to the observation that POTS may occur after vaccination, though notably at a significantly lower rate than after [COVID-19 itself].”
