Resembling a fortress standing guard over the town of Jim Thorpe (formerly known as Mauch Chunk), the historic Old Jail Museum is a beautiful two-story stone structure. The prison was opened in 1871 and through the years held the worst murderers and criminals imaginable, many of whom left their mark… literally. After hundreds of inmates passed through the doors, it was closed in 1995 and then purchased by Tom McBride and his wife, Betty Lou, of Jim Thorpe.
The building itself contains approximately 72 rooms, including 27 cells, basement dungeon cells used as solitary confinement until 1980, women’s cells on the 2nd floor, and the warden’s living quarters across the front of the building.
The building is best known as the site of the hanging of seven Irish coal miners known as Molly Maguires in the 1800’s. The Molly Maguires were a secret organization, composed mainly of Irish Catholics, that started one of the first labor movements in the country. Since the Irish were not well regarded by society at that time, one of the only jobs they could get in PA was working in the local coal mines. It was intense physical labor where workers only got pennies for their long hours. They bought all their own work equipment from the bosses, and had to pay rent to the coal bosses who owned their houses. The Molly Maguires, who had enough of the slave-labor conditions, murdered the coal management while vandalizing the mines and mining equipment. They were arrested, tried, and later found guilty.

On June 21, 1877, today known as the Day of the Rope, Alexander Campbell, Edward Kelly, Michael Doyle and John Donohue were hanged at the same time on gallows erected inside the Old Jail Museum cell block. On March 28, 1878, Thomas P. Fisher was hanged here, and on January 14, 1879, James McDonnell and Charles Sharp were also hanged on the same gallows.
The Handprint
Before their hanging, the men proclaimed their innocence and today historians believe many of the condemned men were falsely accused of murder. Before his hanging, one of the men, thought to be Alexander Campbell, put his hand on the dirty floor of his cell and then placed it firmly on the wall proclaiming, “This hand print will remain as proof of
my innocence.” That hand print is visible today for everyone to view. Past wardens tried to eradicate it by washing it, painting it, and even taking down part of the wall and re-plastering it. But the hand print still remains.

Besides the hand print, visitors will experience a number of supernatural occurrences including shadows, footsteps and loud bangs from the solitary confinement cells. Legends say that these are the spirits of inmates or the ghost of the warden himself “checking up”. In the warden’s apartment objects will move near the old kitchen area, assumed to be the warden’s wife because she cooked for the prisoners herself. The Old Jail Museum is open for ghost tours at various times of the year—but makes an excellent Halloween adventure!

Good morning! Be careful, you two! Of course, I had to look up the meaning of Mauch Chunk….
“Jim Thorpe was founded in 1818 as Mauch Chunk /ˌmɔːk ˈtʃʌŋk/, a name derived from the term Mawsch Unk (Bear Place) in the language of the native Munsee-Lenape Delaware peoples: possibly a reference to Bear Mountain, an extension of Mauch Chunk Ridge that resembled a sleeping bear, or perhaps the original profile of the ridge, which has since been changed heavily by 220 years of mining.”

Entire Article @ TrendingPolitics: https://rumble.com/v1o36fs-former-cnn-and-msnbc-execs-defend-their-blackout-of-hunter-biden-story.html
“[There’s a] controversy that you may think is bullsh*t,” Smerconish said. “Let me give you an example. I believe — they know this, because I talked about it on air. I think that the Hunter laptop was worthy of more airing than it received right before the election. Either of you agree with me on that? Do you regret? How about — if I ask you this way, specifically, do you regret not dealing with it before the election?”
“Well, I mean, I think — I think we — the question is, we did deal with it,’ former CNN chief Jeff Zucker respondedd. “But to the degree that, you know, you would have thought was appropriate. I think the answer is in the final two weeks, you know, it was looked at. We did not know enough about it. There was not, you know, there was not within two weeks of the election, the ability when the messenger on that story was Rudy Giuliani, okay?”
“No, I mean — but I mean, that’s the problem,” Zucker went on. “It’s like, you’re going to give a lot of legitimacy to Rudy Giuliani delivering, you know, he’s got the goods. So part of the issue with that story was who was delivering the goods?”
“Okay, that’s one,” he continued. “That doesn’t mean that we didn’t look into it. We did. We did look into it. But first of all, you know, with regard to the son of the candidate, you know, he was the son of the candidate. He wasn’t the candidate.”
“The question that you’ll come back with is, well, but what role did the candidate play in his business dealings?” he asked. “You know, frankly, with ten days or two weeks to go, it was looked at by very credible organizations, including The Wall Street Journal — Rupert Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal — and they found nothing at that time. Okay. So my point is, it’s easy to say we should have spent more time on that. Listen, do I think it’s legitimate to look at? Sure. Do I think that, like, it’s a legitimate criticism to say that in the ten days, 14 days prior to the election, you didn’t spend enough time on it? Not really.”
“What do you think?” Smerconish asked ex-MSNBC chief Phil Griffin.
“He was never arrested,” Griffin said. “The Justice Department was looking into it, never reported it until he is the son of a candidate. I don’t think it’s a main story until that happens. Now, we looked into it. You know, NBC News did, Tom Winter and Ken Dilanian did a great job. They met with Rudy. He brought a couple of pages printed out from the so-called, from the — from the computer. They asked for a digital copy of it. They didn’t get it. But I don’t think it was a big story before the election because he was never found — he was never charged.”
“And Michael, let me ask you, in the two weeks before the election, when that came out, I don’t know the exact timing —” Zucker added. “Yeah, I think 11 days before,” Smerconish noted.
One of the New York Post reporters that helped break the story, Emma-Jo Morris, now at Breitbart News, remarked on the executives’ feigned innocence in squelching the story prior to the election. “This time two years ago today, all social media platforms in unison banned the New York Post’s reporting on Hunter Biden’s laptop from hell,” she noted. “Let’s check in on what CNN and MS have learned.”
Not much, sadly. These excuses would not fly with journalists or the broader American audience if damning evidence of illicit foreign transactions were found to be tied to Donald Trump Jr., raising questions about his presidential father’s potential knowledge and benefit.
CNN and MSNBC never failed to seize on any far-flung conspiracy theory that appeared damaging to Donald Trump. So, the double standard doesn’t fly. And when networks and social media platforms work together to “black out” the most disturbing revelations from the Hunter Biden laptop, it goes beyond mere journalistic negligence into active collusion to rig an election for their preferred candidate, even if it means disastrous consequences for the country.”

EXCERPT: “Washington Post editorialist Marc Thiessen, specifically, is calling out the J6 committee participants for “desperate political manipulation.” Watch:
https://rumble.com/v1nvhve-trump-subpoena-is-desperate-political-manipulation-ahead-of-midterms-thiess.html
“So, like everybody on this panel, I was appalled by what happened on January 6th,” Thiessen said. “I spent seven years working up in the Senate. It was a privilege to walk out on the Senate floor. And every time I see video, like what we saw today, my blood boils.”
“But then as I watched that video today, I had this distinct feeling that I was being, my emotions were being manipulated… that I was being churned up to get angry about this all over again,” Thiessen continued. “And I think that’s the purpose of what this hearing was. As you said… if they were going to indict, if they were going to subpoena Trump, they could have done it a year ago, if they were really wanted to do this.”
“It felt like political theater,” he added. “It felt like — I don’t think it’s a coincidence that they rescheduled this hearing for the day that the inflation numbers came out. Because, you know, we just found out that the record inflation continues and we got numbers on the consumer price index, and they want everybody to be talking about January 6th instead of that.”
“So I just feel like it’s not just political theater, it’s political manipulation,” Thiessen argued. “I don’t think it’s going to work. I don’t think that most Americans are looking at this today and thinking I’m going to change my vote in November because of that.”
“But we’re a month away from an historical election where we have a situation where if the Democrats were to hold onto the House and gain two more seats in the Senate, they would get rid of the filibuster,” he went on. “They would pack the Supreme Court, they would pack the Senate by adding the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico as states, they would pass their radical agenda… with just 50 votes. We’re two votes away from, from a one-party state in this country. And they’re desperately trying to stop that, to prevent that.”
“You know, I thought it was fascinating when Benny Thompson said,” he said. “If there’d be no more debate — what debate? There was no debate because there was nobody on the other side there. It was a presentation, not a hearing. And I feel personally — I feel manipulated.”

OK – watching Bannon on Tucker:
Tucker: “Do you agree with Matt Gaetz that this is partisan?
Bannon: “Oh, it’s 100% – I mean, the whole justice department under Merrick Garland has become radically partisan and, I think that’s, after we win this crushing blow against the democratic party, this regime, Tucker, I strongly believe you’ll see Merrick Garland impeached next year by the new Congress.”
Tucker: “I certainly hope so….people who say 4 months in prison is not a big deal has never been to a prison. It is a big deal. How are you going to respond to this? Do you plan to submit?”
Bannon: “Well, #1 we have…the judge laid out today a number of areas of appeal, I’ve got a great legal team, my legal teams’ working the appeals right now, we’ve got appeals on use of attorney, separation of powers, executive privilege, the structure of the Jan. 6 committee, so we’ve got a lot of appeals and it’ll work thru the appeals process. So my sentencing is all “pending” in the appeals process and, like I said on your show the first time….At the end of the day, if I’ve got to go to prison by this illegitimate regime, hey, I respect what the judge today, I’m prepared to do it, but we’ve got a long appeals process.”
Tucker: “What do you think this says about our system more broadly, however. I mean, you’re saying that your being sent to prison because you advised Donald Trump politically. I mean, that doesn’t sound like a free country…..where something like that could happen.
Bannon: “It’s not free right now. You see this, whether it’s the FBI rolling up individuals praying in front of abortion centers, or designating parents’ rights at school board meetings as domestic terrorists. The justice department is completely and totally out of control and the FBI is totally out of control. That’s why I’m a big believer in defunding the FBI – use the appropriations process to defund both of these apparatuses until they come to the table and start cleaning out the rats’ nest.
I think the only way you’re going to do it, is you gotta start at the top – we’ve gotta impeach Wray and we’ve gotta impeach Merrick Garland–after full investigations. I think Garland can be impeached on the southern border, I think he can be impeached by what he is doing to these parents in the Parents’ Right movement. I think that Merrick Garland WILL be impeached next year by the new Congress.”
Tucker: “One of the reasons that our system has become partisan in the rule of law is evaporating since no-one’s pushing back against it. Are you satisfied with the response of elected Republicans to what’s happened to you. Is anyone sticking up for you, do you think?”
Bannon: “I think it’s fine – hey, look, elected Republicans – what they need to do now is focus on the 8th of November. Tucker, there’s no substitute for victory and we’ve got a very good opportunity here to shatter the democratic party as a national political institution. From school boards, to State legislatures, to AG’s, to SoS’s, take the House by 40 or 50 seats, and maybe take the Senate by 4 or 5 seats.
To me, elected officials right now should just focus on winning in November with the biggest wave we can. I can do this myself with my lawyers, I don’t need Republicans to have my back. What I want Republicans to do is, in the new Congress, is to focus on cleaning out the rats’ nest at DOJ and clean out the rats’ nest at the FBI.”
Tucker: “If you’re Lois Lerner or you’re Eric Holder, both of whom committed what I consider actual crimes against the country, unlike you – you’ve not been accused even of doing that – and both of them skated on contempt charges…Do you think they’re ashamed? Do they see the double standard? Has either one of them reached out to you to commiserate…I’m serious…like, on a human level? [with his trademark dumbfounded look]
Bannon: [laughing, of course] “No, as you know, this city is so partisan, the process now is so partisan, and they are some of the most partisan people. Especially Eric Holder, who is the hatchet man for Obama. So, no. And, BTW, I wouldn’t want ’em to! Right? This is an unbridgeable gap – you have the Republicans and the MAGA forces on one side, and you have these radical democrats on the other, you see that it’s not rule of law, it’s like a banana republic…you can’t compromise on this. There’s no substitute for victory. We have to win massively on the 8th and then this new Congress has to really go and enforce the rule of law. The way you enforce the rule of law is to start serious investigations – not political – and after those investigations, starting bringing articles of impeachment and throw these bums out. Whether it’s Mayorkas at DHS or Garland Merrick as AG…and who knows where it ends.
Tucker: “Ya, who knows where it ends….Steve Bannon – good luck. I’d be – you don’t seem worried – I’d be worried if I were you. You’re a brave man. I appreciate your coming on.”

Entire Article @ Fox: “Four former Mississippi day care center employees face charges after they were seen on camera using masks, similar to those used in the movie series “Scream” to scare children.
The incident happened on Oct. 4 at Lil’ Blessings Day Care Center in Hamilton, Mississippi, where the day care center employees can be seen wearing the “Scream”-like masks while several children were visibly frightened and crying, according to Fox affiliate WLOV. At several points in the video, the former employees can be seen screaming at the children. One person can be seen chasing a toddler while wearing the mask.
“Put up the toys! Put them up!” one person can be heard saying to the children. Sheila Sanders, who owns the day care center, will not face charges in relation to the incident. Sanders said that at least four of the day care’s employees were fired as a result of the incident.
Sierra McCandless, Oci-Anna Kilburn, Jennifer Newman and Shyenne Mills all face felony child abuse charges as a result of the incident, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department. Traci Hutson also faces charges of failure to report abuse by a mandatory reporter and simple assault against a minor, which are misdemeanors. Police said Hutson was not linked to the videos, but she knew about the incidents and didn’t report them.
The charges were filed after the sheriff’s office and county prosecuting attorney met with parents of the children involved. McCandless and Kilburn both have a $20,000 bond, while Newman and Mills have a $15,000 bond. According to the sheriff’s office, the felony charges will be presented to a grand jury, which will decide if there’s enough evidence to indict the individuals involved.
According to the Daily Journal, the Mississippi State Department of Health is also investigating the incident. Fox News Digital reached out to the day care center for comment.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.”

cracking down on retail theft—BUT creating BIGGER gov’t to do it. start prosecuting shoplifting again!!!
FTA
Members of Congress have introduced legislation to combat organized retail theft as sophisticated criminal enterprises resell items and increase costs for businesses.
Group robberies have gained public attention over the past two years, with some retailers and convenience chains spending millions on new security efforts or closing locations in particularly dangerous cities. In response, lawmakers are advancing the Combatting Organized Retail Crime Act and the INFORM Consumers Act.
The former bill would establish the Organized Retail Crime Coordination Center at Homeland Security Investigations, thereby launching a joint effort among law enforcement agencies and retail industry representatives to “create a cohesive national strategy and curb organized retail crime,” according to a statement from Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO). The latter bill would target the reselling of stolen goods by requiring verification of “high-volume third-party sellers in online retail marketplaces” such as eBay and Facebook Marketplace, according to a press release from Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL).

Filly…did you see this?
entire article
The lawyer for a Nebraska grandmother accused of illegally aborting her viable, late-term unborn grandchild and then burning the body wants a judge to drop two charges against her, arguing the unborn baby was not legally a “person.”
Jessica Burgess, 41, of Norfolk, could face up to eight years in prison for allegedly giving abortion pills to her 17-year-old daughter and aborting her unborn grandchild in April. According to police, Burgess allegedly burned and then buried the baby’s body after the abortion.
In court Wednesday, her lawyer Brad Ewalt asked District Judge Mark Johnson to throw out two of the five charges, arguing that the unborn baby was not legally a person yet under state and federal law, KTIV News 4 reports.
Ewalt said Burgess should not be charged with concealing the death of another person because the law does not recognize unborn babies as persons.
“Fetuses do not become legally ‘living’ until they are born alive and breathe independently,” Ewalt said, according to Norfolk Daily News. “Fetuses delivered dead by miscarriage or abortion are not legally cognizant ‘persons’ under Nebraska and federal law.”
Click here to sign up for pro-life news alerts from LifeNews.com
He also said Burgess should not be charged with performing an abortion after 20 weeks gestation because she is allowed to make medical decisions for her minor daughter, according to the report.
Burgess also is charged with prohibited acts with human remains, false information and performing an abortion by someone other than a licensed physician.
Her trial is scheduled for December.
Allegedly, Burgess obtained abortion pills for her 17-year-old daughter in mid-April and gave her instructions about how to take them. Later, police said she helped to burn and bury the aborted baby’s body.
In the case of Burgess’s daughter, Celeste, now 18, medical records obtained by police indicate that she was about six months pregnant when she allegedly took the abortion pills, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Nebraska bans abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.
Celeste Burgess also is charged with concealing a dead body, concealing the death of another person and false reporting, according to the report. Both mother and daughter recently pleaded not guilty.
Initially, police said Jessica Burgess told police that her daughter had gone into premature labor and gave birth to a stillborn baby. However, police said they later found records online of conversations between the mother and daughter in April about abortion drugs.
“(Celeste Burgess) talks about how she can’t wait to get the ‘thing’ out of her body and reaffirms with (Jessica Burgess) that they will burn the evidence afterwards,” according to court records of the police investigation.
It is not clear from reports what abortion drugs Jessica Burgess allegedly obtained for her daughter, but the most common, mifepristone and misoprostol, are not recommended after the first 10 weeks of pregnancy – suggesting the woman allegedly put her daughter’s life at risk as well as her unborn grandchild’s.
Abortions are legal up to 20 weeks in Nebraska. The law exempts pregnant mothers from punishment but allows abortionists and untrained individuals to be prosecuted for killing unborn babies and, especially in the case of individuals without a medical license or training, putting the pregnant mother’s life in danger.
Late-term abortions also are more risky for the mother as well as her unborn baby, and some states that allow late-term abortions require that they be done by a licensed doctor in a hospital because the risks are so high.
Abortion activists claim stories like these prove that the pro-life movement wants to punish mothers for aborting their unborn babies, but the truth is that pro-life laws protect both mothers and babies from abortions.
Recently, pro-life leaders representing 70 organizations published an open letter opposing laws that punish mothers for abortions. The pro-life movement supports laws that prosecute abortionists and those who help them abort unborn babies.

Langford told the Branding Iron that he understands where his detractors are coming from, “but at the end of the day I wish that they would see me as who I am.”

Emerald Robinson’s The Right Way: “Lara Logan Did Nothing Wrong: Hiding under the “conspiracy theory” label are three dozen actual scandals that Democrats want you to forget
Emerald Robinson
The legendary journalist Lara Logan appeared on TV this week — and caused quite a stir by saying a number of obvious things. God believes in sovereignty, and national identity, and the sanctity of family, and all the things that we’ve lived with from the beginning of time. And he knows that the open border is Satan’s way of taking control of the world through all of these people who are his stooges and his servants.
And they may think that they’re going to become gods. That’s what they tell us. You all know [WEF stooge Yuval Noah] Harari and all the rest of them at the World Economic Forum. You know, the ones who want us eating insects, cockroaches, and that while they dine on the blood of children? Those are the people, right? They’re not gonna win. They’re not going to win.
Needless to say, “the stooges and the servants” began screaming at all the corrupt corporate media outlets that Lara Logan had gone too far. She was now a crazy conspiracy theorist. Here’s a clip from her guest appearance.
Lara Logan was also accused of spouting something called “QAnon conspiracy theories” by Democrat-aligned media outlets. For the last several years, Democrats have insisted that “QAnon” is an absurd conspiracy theory that “a group of Satan-worshiping elites who run a child sex ring are trying to control our politics and media,” according to the New York Times.
Now let me admit from the start: I don’t really understand “QAnon.” I can’t make any sense from the Internet posts that supposedly come from “Q” either. So, rather than focus on QAnon, let’s focus on facts — because the facts of the matter can speak for themselves.
In other words, it’s much easier to say what the QAnon conspiracy theory is not.

The Q-Anon conspiracy theory is not that Joe Biden hired a gay Satanist last month as his official White House “monkeypox coordinator” because that really happened. The Q-Anon conspiracy theory is not that an ABC News anchor was caught on video explaining how ABC News had stopped her from reporting on pedophile sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein — because you can watch that video for yourself.
The Q-Anon conspiracy theory is not that President Bill Clinton took twenty six plane flights with pedophile sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein between 2001 and 2003 just after he left office — because that actually happened too. The Q-Anon conspiracy theory is not that that infamous pedophile sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein videotaped and blackmailed the global elites for three decades — because that actually happened too. The Q-Anon conspiracy theory is not that infamous pedophile sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein built a weird temple on his private island (with underground tunnels) where the global elites gathered to be videotaped and blackmailed — because that happens to be true as well.
The Q-Anon conspiracy theory is not that Microsoft founder and vaccine villain Bill Gates was the best friend of infamous pedophile sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and was funneling money to elite American colleges like MIT through Jeffrey Epstein — because that’s also true.
Here’s Hillary Clinton at the festival of some fourth-rate Texas newspaper talking about the possible failure of America’s democracy. Do you know what proves the failure of America’s democracy? Having presidential candidates at media events who never get asked about the 2,800 government documents on Huma Abedin’s laptop or their private email server arrangements in which 38 people committed 588 security violations of classified information.
By the way, the Q-Anon conspiracy theory is not that then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell’s nephew, Alexander Djerassi, a State Department job and “special treatment” inside the State Department — because that happens to be true. The Q-Anon conspiracy theory is not that the laptop of Hillary Clinton’s chief aide Huma Abedin was seized by the FBI and kept from being investigated by disgraced FBI agents like Peter Strozk who set to work undermining President Trump — since that’s obviously true.
The Q-Anon conspiracy theory is not that Hunter Biden has Joe Biden’s phone number listed under the name “Pedo Peter” because that happens to be true. The Q-Anon conspiracy theory is not that Ashley Biden has an entry in her private diary regarding her father Joe Biden which says “I used to take showers with my dad [Joe] that were probably inappropriate” because that happens to be true.
The Q-Anon conspiracy theory is not that Joe Biden appointed a pedophile to be the Chief Data Officer for the U.S. Postal Regulatory Commission because Russell Rappel-Schmid was actually arrested in San Diego (allegedly) attempting to meet a 14-year-old boy for sex — so that happens to be true as well.
The Q-Anon conspiracy theory is not that Democrats protected a major gay donor named Ed Buck whose favorite pastime was injecting black men with deadly doses of meth while chasing them around his apartment with an axe — because that actually happened too. The Q-Anon conspiracy theory is not that Democrat Party politicians encourage drag queens to strip in front of schoolkids at public libraries — because that also happens to be true.
The Q-Anon conspiracy theory is not that President Barack Obama and various “woke” corporations have promoted a grooming organization called GLSEN to push pro-pedophile materials in elementary and middle school classrooms under the guise of creating “safe schools” — because that’s also true.
Lara Logan recently gave an interview in which she confirmed that an infiltrator of the global elites “at the UN level” had personally told her that the global elite “are a cult.” At this point, who would bet against her telling the truth?
The Democrat Party now openly supports the legalization of pedophilia, the chemical castration of children without their parents’ consent, the indoctrination of children with gay pornography at public schools, unlimited abortion on demand, assisted suicide at every age, as well as the right of cross-dressers to strip for children at libraries.
Lara Logan has merely noticed that these Satanic practices are now part of the cultural program of the Left. Does that make her a conspiracy theorist? Always remember: hiding under the “conspiracy theory” label are three dozen actual scandals that Democrats want you to forget.”

EXCERPT: “Sonde Health, Kintsugi, Winterlight Labs, and Ellipsis Health are selling “voice biomarker” technology to identify anxiety, depression, and other conditions. The technology is being used at medical clinics and call centers.
The few available studies into the technology claim that voice biomarkers can help detect a myriad of health problems, including depression, respiratory illnesses like asthma and Covid, and cardiovascular conditions. However, the technology does raise ethical and privacy concerns.
Insurance companies and hospitals are installing the voice biomarker technology at their call centers and after getting the patient’s consent, they can detect in real-time if the patient has a mental health condition like depression or anxiety. Unlike voice assistants like Alexa and Siri, voice biomarker software analyzes how you talk, not what you are saying. Your voice is analyzed by a machine-learning system that matches it against anonymized voice samples.
According to psychologist and assistant professor at the University of Cincinnati Maria Espinola, people suffering depression “take more pauses” and stop more often when they are talking. She added: “Their speech is generally more monotone, flatter, and softer. They also have a reduced pitch range and lower volume.”
Speaking to Axios, Kintsugi CEO Grace Chang said: “From as little as 20 seconds of free-form speech, we’re able to detect with 80% accuracy if somebody is struggling with depression or anxiety.”
“When we’re integrated into a call center where there is a nurse on the line, the nurse can ask additional questions” she added. She further claimed that 80% of patients agree to have their voices analyzed. Some experts have raised ethical concerns and feel the technology could be misused.”

NY renaming monkey pox to avoid stigma…
FTA
Additionally, the city announced it will refer to monkeypox as MPV since the “previous name is an inaccurate and stigmatizing label for a virus that is primarily affecting a community that has already suffered a long history of bigotry.”

I am adding a short daily prayer to the board. I would invite each of you, if you wish, to also add one or maybe two of your own liking. I do not want to stifle anyone but please limit yourself to one or two religious postings. here’s one I found that I liked.
