Morning, Pat! Hmmm….I never watched that show. Sigh……raining again and only 65. I’m sooooo tired of rain! And we’ve got several days of more rain before we hopefully see some sunshine this upcoming week-end. I miss my Sis. It was so much fun having her here. We loaded up the back of her SUV with a bunch of things she can use in her on-going reno/repair of her house. I had 2 trash cans on wheels with locking lids so I gave her one of those to use for chicken feed. Also 2 other huge rubber trash cans with locking lids, a couple of horse statues, 2 X 4’s to use on BD’s ramp to the front door, etc., etc.

Good Morning Filly!
I liked this show because it was funny and charming and showed the growth of the main character. He was a computer nerd turned into one of best spies out there and he hated guns–he never used them.
It’s good to clean out your house! we’ve been doing that too. whatever we haven’t used in like forever, we offer the kids and if they don’t want it, it goes to my flea market friend. They can really use the funds, and we get a cleaner basement.

The surveillance cabal, Flock, does not like being surveilled, via Gates of Vienna:
Flock Seeks to Have Security Researchers’ Map of Flock Cameras Taken Down —
Unauthenticated Flaw Exposed 335,701 Camera Locations Nationwide
A security researcher discovered a vulnerability in Flock’s website that gave him an access token without needing login credentials. The researcher used the information gleaned to build a map of Flock cameras and share it on a website he named the Flock Surveillance Map, which now lists the location of 335,701 cameras. Flock has now issued a trademark infringement complaint with the goal of having the researcher close the website.
According to The Intercept, Joshua Michael used this to query ArcGIS, a third-party mapping and geospatial layer that Flock uses, to retrieve a database of Flock devices in November 2025.

Just The News: “The Trump Justice Department on Monday asked the Supreme Court to let it enforce a Bureau of Prisons policy that cuts off federally-funded medical interventions and social accommodations for transgender inmates to go forward.
The department’s emergency appeal follows a federal district court order last month that continued to prohibit the bureau from enforcing its new rules against an inmate who is or will be diagnosed with gender dysphoria, according to CBS News.
The judge overseeing a challenge to the policy, U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth, ordered the Trump administration to continue providing medical care to a class of transgender inmates.
A group of inmates diagnosed with gender dysphoria filed a lawsuit last year after President Trump issued an executive order at the start of his second term that prohibited the use of federal funds for medical procedures or treatments for transgender inmates within the federal prison system.
Following the directive, the bureau issued new guidance that prohibited staff from granting requests for clothing accommodations for those inmates and barred the use of federal money for medical interventions.
In February, the bureau then issued a new policy – which stated the policy was independent of Trump’s executive order – saying the bureau would continue providing mental health services for such inmates but not surgeries, hormone therapy or social accommodations such as wigs or chest binders.
Lamberth agreed in June to block the new rules and ordered the bureau to continue providing medical treatments to transgender inmates. The Justice Department appealed, and earlier this month, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit declined to restore the policy while proceedings moved forward.”

Education Secretary Linda McMahon announced Monday that her department is reinstating the Title IX regulations that were in place during President Trump’s first term. Fox News reports the move rescinds the Biden administration’s 2024 rule, which Fox describes as allowing boys who identified as girls to compete in girls’ and women’s sports at schools that receive federal funding.
McMahon said the new regulations “𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴.”
The Biden rule had already lost in court. A federal judge in Kentucky vacated it nationwide in January 2025, ruling the Education Department 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, and the department said then that it would enforce the 2020 rules.
This week’s action finishes the job: the 2024 text is 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 and the 2020 rule is restored, so schools can see which rules are actually in effect.
For every parent of a girl on a school team, the federal rulebook now matches what the courts already decided. Critics, including LGBTQ advocacy groups, have opposed the rollback, but the Biden rewrite is now 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬.

Another great move here:
Just The News: “The Department of Education on Monday finalized its repeal of a Biden-era Title IX rule reforming sexual misconduct investigations on campus.
The move restores Trump’s first-term rule and expands the protections a student accused of misconduct has in disciplinary proceedings, notably guaranteeing the right to call witnesses, have representation, and appear in a hearing, Politico reported.
“It just gives clarification to students, teachers, schools, parents — everyone now knows what the rule is and how everyone is going to abide by it,” Education Secretary Linda McMahon told Fox News over the weekend.
The final is set for formal publication on Tuesday and comes in the wake of a court decision striking down Biden-era rules that beefed up protections for transgender individuals.”

Just The News: “The Senate voted Monday night to pass the “Protect College Sports Act,” with bipartisan support, sending the amended version of the bill to the House for final passage.
The legislation passed in a bipartisan 77-22 split and aims to address growing concerns about fairness and equity in college sports. It also seeks to bolster the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s power to enforce its own rules by shielding it from lawsuits challenging those rules.
“I’m proud that the Senate passed the Protect College Sports Act, which will restore stability in college athletics and ensure South Dakota’s colleges and universities can continue to provide pivotal student-athlete experiences on our campuses,” Senate Majority Leader John Thune said in a post on X.
“By addressing some of the largest issues in college sports today, this bill will ensure the same opportunities that were available for student-athletes like my dad and my daughter will be available for the next generation,” he added.
The legislation also seeks to cap agent fees at 5% and school spending on athletes at $50 million annually.
Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz and Washington Democratic Sen. Maria Cantwell led the months-long negotiations on the legislation.
“It would be nice if college sports could somehow magically fix itself, but this is a matter of law, federal law, and only Congress can fix it,” Cruz said during a recent floor speech. “Now I know some argue that college sports are doing just fine. They point to high television ratings, enthusiastic fan bases, and packed stadiums. But popularity does not demonstrate that the system is healthy. It simply proves that the system is worth saving.”
The legislation will now go to the House, where it faces known opposition from the Congressional Black Caucus and several labor groups who are concerned the legislation will disproportionately harm minority athletes’ earning potential.
The House is expected to vote on the bill when it returns from its recess after the November midterms.”

EXCERPT: “Rep. Michael Cloud, R-Tex., sent a letter on Tuesday to President Donald Trump urging action on a centralized registry of guns and gun owners that, according to Gun Owners of America (GOA), violates multiple federal statutes.
“No one in their right mind can look at ATF’s digital, searchable 1.4 billion record database of firearm transactions and tell me that isn’t a gun registry. Several federal laws prohibit gun registration, so it’s truly shocking to see how ATF has disregarded the will of Congress here,” Aidan Johnston, GOA Federal Affairs Director told Just The News.
The mushrooming of “Big Brother” gun records
According to Johnston, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ (ATF) digital database, managed by the National Tracing Center in West Virginia, has surged to 1.4 billion records, a significant increase from the 920 million records reported in 2021.
The database contains various forms of identifying records such as firearm transaction records, names, addresses, and serial numbers. The records are primarily digitized from paper forms when gun stores go out of business, which happened at an accelerated rate under the Biden administration due to its zero-tolerance policies.
While the ATF claims this is a tracing system rather than a registry, Aidan noted to Just The News that making transaction forms permanent under the Biden administration removes the ability to destroy them after 20 years.
Nevertheless, Johnston is hopeful: “Vice President Vance’s prior comments about the registry give GOA hope that the Trump Administration might finally put an end to this illegal gun registry and eliminate this threat to our Second Amendment rights.”
This is not the first time a lawmaker has sounded the alarm about the database. On September 24, Sen. James Risch, R-Idaho, sent a letter to the Department of Justice urging an immediate investigation into an illegal gun registry maintained by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)……”

EXCERPT: “The second Trump administration increasingly resembles the Biden administration on two issues that played a major role in President Donald Trump’s 2024 victory, raising the question of how many foot soldiers Republicans can turn out in November midterms.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention blew past its sibling Food and Drug Administration’s targeted approvals of updated COVID-19 vaccines for elderly and high-risk Americans, quietly issuing recommendations last week that all healthy adults and children starting at 6 months old take the non-sterilizing mRNA products off-label.
The expansion is even more surprising because the FDA approved Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna mRNA vaccines without direct human evidence for the efficacy of the new formulations compared to a placebo, putting tens of millions of Americans who still get COVID vaccines for themselves or their children at risk of becoming guinea pigs.
The CDC cryptically cited “legal uncertainties and inquiries” for its one-size-fits-all jab recommendations, which simply reinstate its recommendations from the July 2025 immunization schedule for the upcoming “respiratory illness season.”
Heidi Overton, nominee for FDA commissioner, pointedly affirmed at her confirmation hearing last week that the agency has deemed “all” approved vaccines on the market “safe and effective,” giving the CDC cover for its off-label push.
Neither the CDC nor Department of Health and Human Services answered Just the News queries to explain the recommendations in light of the FDA’s targeted approvals……”

“WHAT’S HAPPENING: 5 Suicides Reported in 5 Weeks at U.S. Cyber Command in Fort Meade”
Gateway Pundit, by Anthony Scott, Sep. 28, 2026
“The United States military’s cyberwarfare unit experienced an unusually high number of suicides last summer. According to a report by The Baltimore Banner, five personnel who either worked at U.S. Cyber Command or worked closely with the cyberwarfare unit based at Fort Meade died by suicide.
The five suicides occurred within a five-week span stretching from June to July. Rep. Sarah Elfreth (D-MD), whose district borders Fort Meade, stated in response to the suicides, “This is something that, unfortunately, I think a lot of people wouldn’t say saw coming but knew was going to be a possibility based on the work that goes on at Fort Meade.”
Per The Baltimore Banner:
Bloomberg reported that one of the five who died was identified as Technical Sgt. Kevin Stallings is an Air Force digital network intelligence analyst stationed at U.S. Cyber Command’s headquarters at Fort Meade, Maryland. Stallings’ family allowed the outlet to publicly identify him as one of the five people who died by suicide, saying they wanted to bring greater attention to the suicides.
To boost morale at U.S. Cyber Command, the House Appropriations Committee has proposed $11 million for “High Performance Team Training” as part of its fiscal 2027 defense spending bill.
The Record reported the training includes “cognitive, psychological, physiological, and spiritual sustainment for high-tempo cyber operations. Without funding, burnout and force degradation will continue.”

“Florida Kicks Illegal Immigrants Out Of State-Funded Job Training”
The Federalist, By: Owen E. Richason IV, September 29, 2026
“By prioritizing citizens and legal residents for trade education, states can safeguard their economies and protect legal residents. Florida recently barred illegal aliens from applying to its 40 public universities and colleges. Then the Sunshine State followed that move by further prohibiting illegal aliens from attending trade schools, explaining that it was prioritizing lawful citizens and thus addressing an imbalance numerous states across the country face and could solve by doing the same.
Although it’s a common-sense decision, critics like the Florida Education Association (FEA), teachers unions, and activists contend the policy isn’t fair. The real question is “fair to who?” Here’s why.
Closing the Skilled Labor Gap in American Trades
The United States faces a very real labor shortage in the trades. In fact, Mike Rowe, widely known for his support of skilled labor, repeatedly warns that for every five who retire, only two enter. Obviously, this is unsustainable. One of the best solutions is to encourage high school graduates and young adults to enter the trades nationwide.
Florida is one of many states that help train new workers by dedicating millions of dollars in taxpayer funds to career and technical education (CTE). That money is best spent on people who can lawfully work on day one because doing so doesn’t encourage illegals to remain or allow unauthorized individuals to access public funds, instead prioritizing citizens.
Enforces the Rule of Law Instead of Subsidizing Illegal Presence
Recently, the Florida Board of Education approved Rule 6A-10.0246, requiring applicants to prove U.S. citizenship or lawful presence before enrolling in postsecondary CTE programs, state college career certificates, registered apprenticeships, or adult general education. This means taxpayer-funded CTE spots in training programs such as HVAC, welding, plumbing, electrical, IT, health care support, and mechanics will no longer function as an extra benefit for people who entered or remained in the country unlawfully.
It’s essentially an extension of the university-system standard to career programs, applying the same principle that limited, publicly subsidized training goes to citizens and those lawfully present. It rightfully removes one more magnet that treats illegal status as a minor detail rather than a disqualifier. States facing similar skilled labor shortages can replicate this proof-of-lawful-presence requirement to ensure career education — especially when it’s taxpayer-funded — directly supports their own stable labor pools.
Like other programs that receive public funding, the CTE initiative exists solely to fill in-demand jobs, giving lawful resident taxpayers a return on their investment through more economic activity and reducing the need for state and municipal assistance. Conversely, when such slots or subsidies go to people who cannot legally work long-term, the public frivolously finances training that cannot reliably produce the authorized workers the state needs. Prioritizing legal residents is basic stewardship of limited dollars, not cruelty.
Prioritizes Legal Residents for High-Demand Trades
Worker shortages in health care, skilled trades, and technical fields are indeed real throughout the United States and face unknown challenges with the emerging introduction of automation, AI, and robotics. The answer, however, is not to keep seats open for people who may be deported or barred from employment; it is to make sure citizens, green-card holders, and other lawfully present residents can get into these important programs. That is how a well-organized government and forward-looking private sector expand the legal workforce instead of stretching scarce training capacity across people the law does not authorize to work or stay.
Solving the nationwide technical workforce shortages requires investing in a stable labor pool, not training individuals barred from legal employment and subject to deportation. By prioritizing citizens and legal residents for taxpayer-funded trade education, states can safeguard their economies and protect legal residents.”

“Snip, Snip: Trump’s 2nd Pocket Rescission Cancels $810M”
OpenTheBooks, 9 minutes ago
EXCERPT: “President Trump announced his second round of “pocket rescissions” last Friday, cutting $810 million in spending on programs that his administration has categorized as wasteful, ideological or not in the national interest.
Those include DEI-related spending, aid to illegal immigrants and more across several major Cabinet departments. For regular readers of Open the Books, they will look similar to programs our auditors have flagged for scrutiny in the past.
What are Pocket Rescissions?
Rescission, in the context of government, is the cancellation of funding already appropriated by Congress.
President Trump used the process to push a $9 billion package of rescissions in 2025, which included cancellation of funds appropriated for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) and foreign aid. CPB (the organization that distributed funds to PBS and NPR affiliates) saw its current funding cancelled along with the rescinding of hundreds of millions of dollars in future funding. Combined, the rescission and cuts were $1 billion and eliminated CPB funding. As a result, the organization voted to dissolve itself as of January 2026.
The remaining roughly $8 billion in rescissions went to foreign aid and international development programming. It included the Economic Support Fund, the Democracy Fund, the Inter-America Fund, “migration and refugee assistance,” the Contributions to Clean Technology Fund and USAID operating expenses. Congress approved this package in July 2025.
“Pocket recission” starts the same way: asking Congress to cancel funds. There is a 45-day “withholding period” during which the president can keep appropriated funds from being obligated for spending, the same amount of time that Congress has to consider the President’s proposal. But when the fiscal year ends sooner than 45 calendar days, the funds will remain withheld until they expire or before Congress can respond. Trump has found this authority in the Impoundment Control Act.
Because Congress has gaveled out and lawmakers have returned home to campaign, it is highly unlikely that President Trump will get a response, leaving the funds to expire during their withholding period.
Last year, after Congress approved the $9 billion formal rescission, Trump embarked on his first pocket rescission: another $4.9 billion in cancelled foreign aid and funding for international organizations. On August 29, 2025, the White House referred to it as a “historic” cancellation of “woke, wasteful and weaponized spending.”
The rescission included $3.2 billion in development assistance through USAID. Part of that money was $400 million for “green” initiatives like a partnership with the Green Climate Fund, $39 million for “biodiversity and low-emissions development in West Africa,” and $25 million to build “climate resilience” in Honduras……”

“A California woman jumped into rough waters and held an unconscious surfer’s head above the surface after watching a huge wave slam him into rocks along the San Diego County coast. Benita Karo, 39, was walking along the beach in Oceanside on the morning of Sept. 26 when she stopped to look at the unusually large waves pounding the coastline.
Karo, who lives in nearby Carlsbad, told the California Post she had grabbed a coffee and was mentally preparing for her daughter’s 14th birthday party later that day when she pulled out her phone to record the powerful surf. Karo told the Post that she is a celebrity publicist for authors of Elvis Presley books.
As she recorded, she spotted a surfer carrying his board and trying to make his way out of the water. Karo could see an enormous wave approaching behind him, but the surfer apparently could not. “I see the wave. He doesn’t see it. It’s massive, and it just hits him, and he didn’t even see it coming.”
Still fully clothed, Karo jumped into the water and grabbed the surfer, lifting his head above the surface as waves continued crashing into them and the rock wall. “I sat there with him, holding him, just trying to keep his head above water,” she said.
Another surfer eventually spotted the pair, while people staying at a nearby beach house also rushed over to help. Together, the group was able to lift the injured surfer out of the water and onto shore.”

Bill Gates has reemerged to help usher in the next GLOBAL HEALTH EMERGENCY just like he did with COVID-19.
Just weeks before smirking about “a billion deaths” from AI bioterrorism, Gates literally funded the first-ever creation of synthetic viruses using AI.
Now he’s warning that we may have to “suffer” major attacks before the world adopts his AI regulations.
We’ve seen this playbook before.
In 2015, Gates warned that “If anything kills over 10 million people in the next few decades, it’s most likely to be a highly infectious virus.”
During COVID, Gates said we could only return to normal when “almost every person on the planet has been vaccinated” with mRNA injections he had spent over $100 million on.
Now that same playbook is being repackaged around AI, synthetic biology, and bioterrorism.
