Today is Keanu Reeves birthday, (born in 1964) and I know he’s been in a lot of movies, but my favorite is The Replacements.  I found this snippet on Scifidimensions.com and it really captures the essence of the film and why I love it.

    House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said he was blindsided after two Democrats defected and joined the Republicans to force a vote on a resolution condemning Socialism.
    In a 210-208 vote, Democrat Reps. Dan Golden and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez joined the Republicans to advance the resolution.
    Later Tuesday, the House adopted the resolution in a 220-192-2 vote. 

    Well the Democrats are now officially the party of socialism/communism. They can’t hide from it anymore.

    Because of the Orange Irritant, our Great American President Donald J Trump. The devil’s team reveals itself constantly. President Trump didn’t do this or that, therefore we’d be better off with a Bush or a Barry Obama. Get real folks.  How can people be so stupid$$$$.
     
    Is President Trump perfect of course not, but simply put: “Perfect is the enemy of good” As for me I think President Trump is awesome, keep up the good work.    
     
    We’ve all heard this story told so many ways over the decades but still pertinent as people get weak kneed. Many fail to see how remarkable the opportunity of having a President Trump at the helm, really is.
     
    For me this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, with all of the horse manure, I know there’s a pony in there.

    What does this have to do with where we find ourselves. When you watch the enemy MSM you would think that our Great American President Donald J Trump is the anti-Christ.
     
    When in truth I believe he is the anti-anti-Christ, though far from perfect is the exact battering ram to dislodge the demons who have commandeered the helm in the West. God usually chooses imperfect people for his will, Moses, Jonah, David, Elijah, …etc.
     
    As we approach the midterm (s)election look for all manner of crap being slung by the demons.     
    So, we must ask ourselves: “If not President Trump then who? “
     
    I’ve yet to hear a real answer to that simple question. Fools like Tucker, Candice, Alex etc. are tools/dupes of the old system, be careful of the snake oil peddlers.   
     
    This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the USA and the West that I haven’t seen in nearly seven decades of life.  If we’re not careful, we’ll nit-pic ourselves back into the dark matrix and then oblivion.

    The False Claims Act has since recovered approximately $85 billion in taxpayer dollars, including more than $6.8 billion in fraudulent payments in fiscal year 2025 alone.”

    The finder first encountered some loose objects and clay potsherds when removing weeds and stones to clear space for a new tile patio.     Something strange has been happening off California. Blue whales are becoming quieter. Long-term acoustic monitoring found blue-whale vocalizations dropped by nearly 40% during a major marine heatwave.

    The likely explanation isn’t that whales suddenly became introverts. It’s food. Blue whales depend heavily on krill, and marine heatwaves can severely disrupt the food web supporting them. When prey becomes scarce, whales have to devote more time and energy to finding enough food.

    And apparently less time to singing. Researchers have described it in painfully simple terms: Imagine trying to sing while you’re starving. The ocean gets quieter when the food disappears. That’s not exactly the kind of silence you want to hear.

    The new attraction will bring visitors into the world of whales through life-size models, underwater experiences and exhibitions dedicated to these extraordinary animals.

    A nice contrast to the previous story. One part of humanity is listening as whales become quieter. Another is building giant monuments to them. Hopefully we still have plenty of actual whales to visit too.

  26. Bummer! Went to check on my lopes and discovered my fabric hammocks aren’t the greatest idea after all, especially if it rains. They were all soaked so I decided to take the first one off and discovered that it was riper than I could see and had already ruptured on the bottom. Thanks to the rupture, it was already infested by bugs. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper! I promptly removed the remaining hammocks. I’ve rigged a couple of grocery store plastic bags where the 2 still high on the trellis will fall inside it if they come loose but they are still open to the sun/wind. The remaining 5 are low enough that they won’t bust when they fall. Lesson learned!
