Thomas Jefferson died on July 4, 1826. Remarkably, this was the exact same day that his friend and rival John Adams passed away.

He wrote his own epitaph but left off his presidency. He wanted to be remembered as the author of the Declaration of Independence instead.
He recorded the weather every single day of his adult life. Thus, historians have a perfect record of the temperature in Virginia for decades.
He spent a fortune on wine. In fact, he once ordered 20,000 bottles from France for his personal cellar.
Thomas Jefferson reportedly broke his wrist while trying to impress a woman. He attempted to jump over a fence in Paris but fell awkwardly.
He wrote down the first known recipe for ice cream in America. Specifically, he created a vanilla custard version that became a favorite at his dinner parties.
He designed a “Great Clock” for his home at Monticello. The weights are so long they have to drop through holes in the floor.
Thomas Jefferson could read and write in six different languages. He mastered Greek, Latin, French, Italian, Spanish, and English.
Finally, he introduced the French fry to America. He served “potatoes fried in the raw” at a White House dinner in 1802.

Good morning, Pat! We had bright sunshine briefly but the clouds are moving in now. 56 when I got up but it just dropped to 55. We’ll get whatever we’re gonna get – no telling these days! No Wheezer overnight.

While Swalwell has not resigned from Congress, the deadline to file to run in his Congressional district was March 6.
He will not be on the ballot. His career in Congress is likely over.
His problem is that Calif has all of its statewide office elections the same year, and they all have 4 year terms.
There is no other office he can run for in 2 years.
His political career may now be over.

Remember the Democrats got what they wanted. Swalwell out. This will increase the top two Democrats percentage points and eventually votes in the first primary above the Republican candidates. That means two Democrats and no Republicans in the runoff election.
Steve Hilton — ~16–17%
Chad Bianco — ~14–16%
Swalwell and the other two were all tied about 15% even if they split Swalwell’s 15% that puts them at 22.5%. Unless one Republican drops out a Democratic win is now almost assured.
If Bianco selflessly drops out that would put Hilton over 30% and give the Republicans the better chance (with no other cheating).
That would put a Democrat and Republican head to head in the runoff election.

Lorenzo Garcia, boyfriend of Paige Ostroushko, the same Paige who recently assaulted and battered @Savsays, is an active-duty Marine running this GoFundMe.
He’s begging for money because ICE detained his dad while he was at Marine boot camp at Camp Pendleton.
He lays out the whole sob story about his mom struggling, his siblings, the financial mess, and how hard it’s all been. Then he brags about going to Whipple protests, No Kings protests, Iran protests, and every other anti-ICE demonstration he can find.
He even did an open mic at Whipple to tell his story.
And right at the end he signs off with “F**K ICE.”
An active-duty United States Marine is using his service, his boot camp experience, and his uniform to solicit donations while publicly attacking a federal law enforcement agency and standing shoulder to shoulder with the same radical left crowd whose daughter just assaulted an American woman on video.
@SecWar Hegseth, this is completely unacceptable. We cannot have Marines out here trashing ICE, aligning with domestic terrorists who assault citizens, and then turning around and using their military status to beg for cash.

Just The News: “President Trump’s administration is directing Immigration and Customs Enforcement to crack down on “birth tourism” as the Trump administration fights to end birthright citizenship for illegal immigrants in case before the Supreme Court.
