    JinWoo Kim, IQ 289
    @JinWooIQ
The U.S. just deployed a weapon that was supposed to stay classified for another decade. And it changes EVERYTHING about this war.

https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/svg/1f6a8.svg THE U.S. NAVY JUST USED A LASER WEAPON IN COMBAT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY. https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/svg/1f6a8.svg

CENTCOM released footage of the HELIOS system mounted on a destroyer off Iran’s coast. It’s shooting down drones with LIGHT.

Here’s why this is the most important military development since the atomic bomb:

    THE PROBLEM:
→ Iran’s $20,000 Shahed drones were bankrupting the U.S. defense budget
→ Every Patriot interceptor costs $3-4 MILLION
→ Every THAAD interceptor costs $10 MILLION
→ The UAE alone intercepted 755 drones + 172 ballistic missiles — BILLIONS spent in ONE WEEK
→ Iran was WINNING the math. Spend $30K, force the enemy to spend $4M. Repeat.
→ That cost ratio was Iran’s most powerful weapon

    THE SOLUTION:
    → HELIOS runs on ELECTRICITY
→ The cost of firing it: less than your monthly electric bill
→ No missiles to reload. No magazine to deplete. No resupply ship needed.
→ Unlimited shots. As fast as light. Against a $20,000 drone.
→ Iran spends $30,000 per drone. HELIOS spends PENNIES to destroy it.

    THE MATH JUST FLIPPED:

https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/svg/26a0.svg Before HELIOS: Iran spends $30K → U.S. spends $4M to stop it. Iran wins.https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/svg/26a0.svg After HELIOS: Iran spends $30K → U.S. spends $0.50 to stop it. Iran LOSES.

→ Iran spent YEARS developing Shahed drone doctrine
→ The entire strategy was: “flood cheap drones, bankrupt the defense”
→ HELIOS makes that strategy OBSOLETE overnight
→ A weapon designed to bleed the U.S. dry just became target practice for a laser that costs nothing to fire

This is the first real combat test of directed energy weapons in history.

If it works at scale — and early reports say it DOES — then:

https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/svg/1f480.svg Iran’s drone advantage = GONEhttps://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/svg/1f480.svg The 200-to-1 cost ratio = REVERSEDhttps://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/svg/1f480.svg Every drone Iran launches = destroyed for pennieshttps://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/svg/1f480.svg Drone warfare as a strategy = DEAD before it even peakedhttps://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/svg/1f480.svg Every military on Earth that invested in drones = back to the drawing board

Iran just found out that the weapon it spent a decade perfecting can be defeated by a LASER running on a ship’s generator.

The future of warfare isn’t drones. It isn’t missiles. It’s directed energy.

And the U.S. just tested it in a live war zone.

    Prepare accordingly. https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/svg/1f6a8.svghttps://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/svg/1f6a8.svghttps://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/svg/1f6a8.svg

Follow — the biggest military technology shift since the nuclear bomb is happening RIGHT NOW.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The HELIOS system was not supposed to remain secret for the next decade nor was this the first time a laser weapon has been used. Data on HELIOS was publicly posted as early as 2022 and laser weapons have previously been used in Ukraine.

      1. he lied about when it was supposed to be revealed to everyone, but not about the weapon itself. hell…all those congresspeople with stock in military weapons probably are SOL now. If this is cheaper than the missiles, production of said missile should go down right? we still need some, but hell pennies on the dollar to operate versus $3.4 million per interceptor is a BIG deal.

I didn’t know this existed, did you?

    Off Topic,
I saw a post the other day where a guy in MI. said his Golf cart new lithium battery went into sleep mode being he ran it low and do to the cold weather, He contacted the manufacturer in China and they thru the Battery management system “BMS” woke the battery up and brought it back to a full charge, now it works perfectly again, the poster was amazed they can do that from China without any of his help, They have constant contact thru WiFi Bluetooth
    A Thought I had!
” The answer is not good, Could cause wide spread fires, in your garage or anywhere a lithium powered ca,r golf cart or home back-up power, the list goes on!”
    My question,
Beings china can control battery management system “BMS” in lithium metal cased batteries, can they influence the bms to cause battery damage if they wanted to?
     Answer
Yes, because Chinese manufacturers control a significant portion of the Battery Management System (BMS) software and hardware, there is potential to influence them
. The BMS is the “brain” of a battery, managing charging speed, temperature, and safety, so manipulating these settings could cause damage like overheating, fire, or capacity failure.
BMS Control Risks: The BMS directly controls crucial factors like voltage limits (
     –
) and temperature. If manipulated to ignore safety limits, a battery could be forced into a dangerous, overcharged state.
Production Integration: Chinese firms integrate these systems during production, often including internet-connected components in electric vehicles (EVs) that could, in theory, receive remote updates or commands.
Control over Value Chain: China controls ~77% of battery cell manufacturing, making it the dominant source of these systems.
System Integrity: While a properly functioning BMS prevents damage, tampering with its algorithms can create vulnerabilities, leading to short circuits, fires, or explosions.
Note: While the capability exists theoretically, there are no public reports of widespread, intentional, malicious damage to batteries through this method, but the security risks are increasingly discussed in the context of critical infrastructure.
    But it is possible!
How about don’t have them connected to WiFi bluetooth unless you need it!

Pakistan just sent navy ships to escort oil tankers in the Gulf as U.S.-Iran tensions keep heating up around the Strait of Hormuz. The military says the idea is simple, keep ships moving and energy supplies safe. Pakistan depends a lot on Gulf oil and gas, and fuel prices already jumped about 20% last week, which caused long lines at petrol stations.

    “SITREP: IRAN CONFLICT UPDATE”

Michael T. Flynn LTG USA (RET), Mar 09, 2026

“Intercepted communications indicate Iranian sleeper cells inside the United States are being activated. This is the front that most Americans are not prepared for.

Iran’s Assembly of Experts has selected Mojtaba Khamenei as the new Supreme Leader. He is 56 years old, deeply tied to the IRGC, and more hardline than his father. He participated in the suppression of the 2009 protests. His power base is rooted in the most anti-American factions of Iran’s military and clerical establishment. The situation did not improve when we removed the previous leader. It rarely does.

Iran is executing a rope-a-dope strategy. They absorb strikes while expanding the battlefield horizontally through proxies and asymmetric action. We fought this same war in Afghanistan and Iraq. We lost both. No protest leaders have emerged inside Iran capable of organizing a viable alternative to the regime. The IRGC has not fractured. The protesters are on their own and at grave risk if U.S. forces withdraw before conditions change.

Federal, state, and local law enforcement must operate with heads on a swivel. The threat is real. Congress needs to stop playing politics with DHS funding. Now is not the time.

We are in this war whether we wanted it or not. The question now is how we define victory, how we protect the American people at home, and how we avoid repeating the mistakes of the last two decades. Those answers have to come fast.”

  6. Just The News: “A number of Democrats in the Senate are threatening to do everything they can to shut down business in the Senate unless Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and other top officials come testify under oath before key committees on issues regarding the military conflict with Iran.

“We have collectively agreed that we’re going to use the levers that we have,” Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) said Monday evening. “We should be having hearings on the biggest military engagement since the war in Afghanistan,” according to The Hill.

“Each individual senator has a tremendous amount of power to disrupt the normal functioning of the Senate as well as certain privileges that we can exercise, and what we have agreed right now is that we’re not going to let the Senate continue business as usual, which seems to be ignoring the urgent issues the American people are dealing with,” he said.

The senators want to question Rubio and Hegseth in front of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the Senate Armed Services Committee over issues such as the cost, the duration, the endgame and the rules of engagement.

The senators threatening to hold up Senate business include Booker and Sen. Chris Murphy (Conn.), Sen. Tim Kaine (Va.), Sen. Tammy Duckworth (Ill.), an Iraq War veteran and Purple Heart recipient; and Sens. Adam Schiff (Calif.) and Tammy Baldwin (Wisc.).

“As senators we have the right to force a vote and debate every single day in the Senate. That’s not a right under the rules, by the way, granted to us by the majority. That’s a right given to us by the statute,” Murphy said, in reference to the 1973 War Powers Act.

“What we’re saying is we’re not going to let the Senate be silent. We want there to be a hearing so that the American public can hear from their leaders why they think this war is in the national interest. I think they’ll fail in that exercise,” he added.”

  7. “FBI: Illegal Alien Voted In 5 Presidential Elections After He Was Supposed To Be Deported”

The Federalist, By: Maisey Jefferson, March 09, 2026

    I voted sticker

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “A noncitizen illegally present in the U.S. allegedly cast ballots in five presidential elections and falsely claimed to be a citizen when registering to vote, according to a document recently filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

An affidavit by FBI Special Agent Mickel McGann reveals that Mauritanian national Mahady Sacko was ordered to be deported in 2000. Since this removal order, however, records show Sacko voted in general elections in 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020, as well as the 2024 election for federal office, McGann said. Sacko also voted in the 2016 and 2020 primaries and, on each of the seven occasions, “falsely represented that he was a U.S. citizen,” according to the affidavit.

McGann detailed records suggesting that Sacko illegally registered to vote multiple times in Pennsylvania, despite his noncitizen status. In 2006, 2012, and 2016, for example, Sacko appears to have registered via a “voter registration drive.” In 2008, 2016, and 2019, he allegedly registered to vote through the state’s Department of Transportation. In 2006, 2012, 2016, and 2020, he “falsely” identified himself as a U.S. Citizen on “registration application[s],” according to the affidavit.

Sacko also registered to vote in October 2020 and “prior to the 2024 election,” according to the affidavit. A report by the Philadelphia Inquirer stated, “Voting records show that Sacko registered as a Democrat, though the affidavit does not specify which candidates he supported in the elections” he allegedly voted in.

McGann said he compared all the signatures for “Mahady Sacko” on the voter registration records pictured in the affidavit, concluding that they “appear consistent.” He also concluded there is “probable cause” to believe that Sacko violated federal law.

United States law stipulates that “any person who ‘knowingly and willfully deprives, defrauds, or attempts to deprive or defraud the residents of a State of a fair and impartially conducted election process, by . . . casting ballots that are known by the person to be materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent under the laws of the State in which the election is held’ shall be fined or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both,” the affidavit stated.

The affidavit accompanies a criminal complaint against Sacko in which the United States accuses him of fraudulent voting, specifically during the 2024 election. The criminal complaint does not seem to address the other allegations outlined in the affidavit.

McGann also detailed Sacko’s run-ins with immigration enforcement after a judge ordered his removal back to Mauritania in 2000. (Although this order was appealed, it was affirmed in 2002.)

Sacko was arrested in Philadelphia by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement and Removal Operations (ICE/ERO) in 2007, according to the affidavit. However, because Sacko did not have a proper passport for the journey, ICE was “unable to enforce” the removal order. Since 2011, “under the terms of his alien immigration supervision,” Sacko has reported to ICE/ERO 19 times.

In recent months, countless noncitizens have been accused of exploiting legal loopholes to illegally register and vote in American elections. News of the complaint and allegations against Sacko comes as the U.S. Senate considers the SAVE America Act, which would require documentary proof of citizenship when registering to vote, as well as voter ID when casting ballots in federal elections.

Although such requirements are wildly popular, some GOP senators can’t seem to get behind the common-sense legislation or efforts to exhaust all options in the interest of safeguarding elections. Others, like Mike Lee from Utah recognize that “Americans deserve nothing less.”

One, I know where everything is and what works and what don’t, and Two, a new one’s more money than I paid for my first house. If I were to pump two G’s a year into maintaining it, I’m still way ahead of the game. And, like I said – I know what works and what don’t. Mechanical-wise, I’m no genius – I can change the radio station and put the wipers on, and maybe use a turn signal or two. That’s the extent of my manual skills vis-a-vis any vehicle. That’s what mechanics are for.”

The designation allows the U.S. government to freeze assets, block financial transactions, and criminalize support for the group under American law.

The State Department said the Sudanese branch’s designation will become effective March 16, after which anyone providing material support to the organization could face criminal penalties in the United States.”

Breitbart, Alana Mastrangelo, 10 Mar 202616

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “President Donald Trump has appointed Erika Kirk, the widow of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, to serve on the Board of Visitors for the United States Air Force Academy. The revelation comes after Charlie Kirk was tapped last year to serve on the board, before his horrific assassination on September 10 at Utah Valley University, according to multiple reports.

Now, Erika Kirk — who serves as CEO of her late husband’s conservative youth organization, Turning Point USA — is listed among those appointed to the board by President Trump on the academy’s website.

“The Board inquires into the morale, discipline, curriculum, instruction, physical equipment, fiscal affairs, academic methods and other matters relating to the Academy which the Board decides to consider,” the website states. Erika Kirk sits on the board alongside Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), Dan Clark, Doug Nikolai, and Dina Powell, with one seat currently vacant.

The U.S. Air Force Academy’s website explains:

The Board consists of six members appointed by the President, two designated by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, one designated by the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, one each designated by the Chair and Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee, two designated by the Majority Leader of the Senate, two designated by the Minority Leader of the Senate, and one each designated by the Chair and Ranking Member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

“I applaud President Trump for appointing Erika Kirk to the U.S. Air Force Academy Board of Visitors,” Rep. August Pfluger (R-TX) — a graduate of the academy, as well as the chair of the board — told Fox News.

“I encouraged this appointment as Erika is the right person to fill Charlie’s place on the Board and continue his work of inspiring the next generation of service members and advancing the Academy,” Pfluger added. “I look forward to working alongside her to carry on Charlie’s legacy.”

    Breitbart News, 10 Mar 2026

(UPI) — Tommy DeCarlo, the lead singer of the rock band Boston for nearly 20 years, has died at the age of 60, his children announced on Instagram Monday.

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our Dad, Tommy DeCarlo, on Monday, March 9th, 2026,” the family wrote. “After being diagnosed with brain cancer last September, he fought with incredible strength and courage right up until the very end. During this difficult time, we kindly ask that friends and fans respect our family’s privacy as we grieve and support one another. Rest in peace, Dad.”

DeCarlo performed with Boston for nearly 20 years after a tribute song he wrote and sang about original lead singer Brad Delp, who died by suicide in 2007, caught the attention of the band.

“I truly have to thank Brad Delp for helping me develop that gift,” DeCarlo said about how he learned to sing on the band’s website. “When I first began to listen to Boston as a young teenager, I absolutely loved Brad’s voice and how he would sing those classic hits,” he added. “It wasn’t like I was trying to sing like Brad, it was just that I loved to sing along with him.”

Boston was founded in 1975 and is known for its songs “More than a Feeling,” “Amanda,” “Smokin,’” “Rock and Roll Band,” “Feelin’ Satisfied” and “Don’t Look Back.”

FRAUD UPDATE: Chenega & Cherokee Federal Executives Admit On Tape How “Native-Owned” Firms Cheat 8(a) Government Contracts & Outsource The Work Pocketing Millions Of Dollars

In OMG’s previous undercover footage, ATI Government Solutions Contract Manager Melayne Cromwell admitted, “We only do 20%… the rest goes to subs.”

New undercover footage involving executives connected to Chenega Architecture and Design and Cherokee Federal describes similar arrangements and admits they are cheating.

Ricky Longhurst, Senior Account Executive at Cherokee Federal, summed up the system bluntly: “It’s cheating really.”

These companies are claiming Native ownership on paper to access and secure 8(a) government contracts worth $100+ million.

Mike Montgomery of Chenega Architecture and Design described how the revenue is split: “We give 37% back to the tribe for infrastructure… 63% goes back to the business.”

He also stated, “We have an incentive because of the Alaskan Native ownership.”

Following our first report, Small Business Administration Administrator Kelly Loeffler announced major enforcement action.

Loeffler stated that the “SBA suspended 1,091 firms from the 8(a) Program,” and the agency took “immediate action” against companies taking advantage of the program.
