The Arizona State Tree, Palo Verde, holds a significant place in Arizona’s identity as an official state symbol. Designated as the Arizona State Tree by legislative action, the Palo Verde stands out for its botanical significance and distinctive features.
Known for its vibrant green bark and beautiful yellow flowers, the Palo Verde tree is deeply intertwined with the Sonoran Desert landscape. Its ability to thrive in arid conditions, with its unique ability to conduct photosynthesis through its green bark, symbolizes resilience and adaptation. This tree not only beautifies the Arizona landscape but also plays a crucial role in supporting the desert ecosystem by providing shade, shelter, and sustenance for various wildlife species. The Palo Verde tree is a testament to Arizona’s commitment to preserving its natural heritage and the delicate balance of its environment.
The Palo Verde was chosen as the official state tree of Arizona due to its deep-rooted significance in the state’s history and culture. As a native tree to the desert landscape, the Palo Verde represents the essence of Arizona’s ecosystem and environmental importance.
Known for its unique green bark and vibrant yellow blossoms, the Palo Verde stands out in the arid landscape, offering not only a visual spectacle but also serving a vital role in providing shade during scorching summer days. As a drought-tolerant species, its presence helps in conserving water in the region’s delicate ecosystem. The tree supports various wildlife species, from birds to insects, creating a diverse habitat that contributes to the overall biodiversity of the state.

Respect to this police officer. Confronted by radicals demanding the arrest of a Christian preacher on the grounds that Whitechapel “is a Muslim area”, she was calm and professional and gave them short shrift. Let’s see more of this from the police.

Rodney posted this Tweet last night:
“THE SUPPLIER IS DEAD. THE CLIENT LIST SURVIVED. When Mexican Special Forces took out El Mencho, they didn’t just find guns and drugs. They found a laptop. On it: a single encrypted file named “CLIENTES.” Inside: 211 names. The elite clients who ordered children and organs from “The Supplier.” Hollywood actors. Tech billionaires. Wall Street executives. And 17 sitting members of Congress.
For 48 hours, the Deep State tried to bury it. The CIA tried to claim jurisdiction. The FBI tried to seize the laptop. They failed. Trump’s people got to it first. The file is now in the hands of the same military intelligence unit that is preparing for the State of the Union address. This is the kill shot. The Epstein files were the blackmail network. The Client List is the customer base. Arrests are not coming. They have already begun. Pay attention to who disappears this week.
This is not politics. This is war. And the snakes can’t hide anymore.”

EXCERPT: “President Donald Trump appears to be moving toward striking Iran, with the U.S. military moving significant assets into the region as the president insists he would prefer to strike a deal with the Iranian regime but that, if it comes to war, his top general has told him “it will be something easily won.”
A number of outlets reported Monday that Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine had warned about the risks of striking the Iranians, with Trump issuing a lengthy statement on Truth Social pushing back on the reports and displaying confidence that the U.S. would not struggle to defeat Iran. The dust-up came as the U.S. Navy has greatly increased its presence in the region surrounding Iran.
“Numerous stories from the ‘Fake News Media’ have been circulating stating that General Daniel Caine, sometimes referred to as Razin, is against us going to War with Iran. The story does not attribute this vast wealth of knowledge to anyone, and is 100% incorrect,” Trump said. “General Caine, like all of us, would like not to see War but, if a decision is made on going against Iran at a Military level, it is his opinion that it will be something easily won.”
The Wall Street Journal kicked off the week with a story titled, “Pentagon Flags Risks of a Major Operation Against Iran. The warnings have been led by Gen. Dan Caine.”
The Washington Post also reported that “Trump’s top general foresees acute risks in an attack on Iran” and that Caine “has cautioned that a lack of munitions and support from allies could mean greater danger for U.S. troops.” Axios similarly reported that “Trump’s top general warns of Iran strike risks” and that Caine “has been advising President Trump and top officials that a military campaign against Iran could carry significant risks, in particular the possibility of becoming entangled in a prolonged conflict.”…..”

General Caine, like all of us, would like not to see War but, if a decision is made on going against Iran at a Military level, it is his opinion that it will be something easily won. He knows Iran well in that he was in charge of Midnight Hammer, the attack on the Iranian Nuclear Development. It is a Development no longer, but rather, was blown to smithereens by our Great B-2 Bombers. Razin Caine is a Great Fighter, and represents the Most Powerful Military anywhere in the World. He has not spoken of not doing Iran, or even the fake limited strikes that I have been reading about, he only knows one thing, how to WIN and, if he is told to do so, he will be leading the pack. Everything that has been written about a potential War with Iran has been written incorrectly, and purposefully so. I am the one that makes the decision, I would rather have a Deal than not but, if we don’t make a Deal, it will be a very bad day for that Country and, very sadly, its people, because they are great and wonderful, and something like this should never have happened to them. PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP”

Just The News: “U.S. District Court Judge Aileen Cannon on Monday barred the release of former special counsel Jack Smith’s report on the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case, finding that allowing the report to go public would case “irreparable damage” to President Donald Trump and his co-defendants.
Smith became special counsel in 2022, following the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago. Then-Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Smith in light of Trump’s presidential run. Smith was ultimately unable to secure a conviction.
“There is the matter of manifest injustice to the former defendants that would result from disclosure of Volume II,” she wrote, according to The Hill. “Special Counsel Smith, acting without lawful authority, obtained an indictment in this action and initiated proceedings that resulted in a final order of dismissal of all charges. As a result, the former defendants in this case, like any other defendant in this situation, still enjoy the presumption of innocence held sacrosanct in our constitutional order.”
Her decision follows a previous determination that the appointment of Smith was itself unlawful. Smith’s report came in two volumes, one of which became public in 2025.”

Just The News: “Washington, D.C., U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro’s office has reportedly stopped pursuing a criminal case against six Democratic lawmakers who participated in a controversial social media video last year, sources told NBC News Monday.
The decision comes after the Justice Department suffered a setback earlier this month by failing to secure a federal grand jury indictment against the video’s participants. The 90-second video featured six prominent Democratic lawmakers who were either veterans or past members of the Intelligence Community.
Pirro’s office has not publicly confirmed that it stopped pursuing the case, but it comes after Michigan Democratic Sen. Elissa Slotkin’s attorney sent a letter to the Justice Department, asking if it had concluded its probe into the video, which reminded members of the military they could ignore “illegal” orders.
The group warned current military and federal officials not to follow orders from the administration that were “illegal” but did not identify any specific orders they found that qualified as such. Other lawmakers in the video included Arizona Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly and Reps. Jason Crow of Colorado, Chris Deluzio of Pennsylvania, Maggie Goodlander of New Hampshire and Chrissy Houlahan of Pennsylvania.
Although Pirro failed to secure an indictment to bring charges in Washington, D.C., federal prosecutors could still try to pursue the case in other federal courts.”

Just The News: “The raid on Jalisco New Generation Cartel boss Nemesio “El Mencho” Oseguera Cervantes occurred after he was visited by a romantic partner, according to Mexican authorities.
Oseguera Cervantes died on Sunday in a helicopter after being injured in a Mexican special forces operation in a wooded area outside the town of Tapalpa in the western state of Jalisco, according to Mexico’s defense ministry, Reuters reported.
Mexican Defense Minister Ricardo Trevilla said information from a confidante of one of Oseguera Cervantes’ romantic partners helped officials quickly plan the raid for the following day at the crime boss’s compound.
During the military raid, Oseguera Cervantes’ gunmen opened fire on Mexican security forces, and the conflict moved to a cabin complex in a wooded area, where he was injured along with two of his bodyguards. All three of them were transported by helicopter to Mexico City but did not survive.
“Unfortunately, they died on the way,” Trevilla said during Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum’s daily press conference.
According to Mexican officials, U.S. intelligence was used to help pinpoint the exact location of the Tapalpa compound, but Mexico led the operation. “There was no participation in this operation of U.S. forces. What there was, was an exchange of information,” Sheinbaum said.

This NYPD officer arrested illegal immigrant Jose Ibarra for child endangerment.
New York Democrats refused to turn him over to ICE and released him. He never showed up for court.
The Biden administration then paid for him & his illegal immigrant friends to fly to Georgia as part of a taxpayer-funded internal movement program disclosed at his trial.
In Georgia, he murdered Laken Riley when she fought his rape attempts.
The Democrats let Riley’s murderer into the country, released him back onto the streets after his first arrest despite an ICE request to pick him up, helped him evade his court date and finally flew him to his victim at taxpayer expense to commit his crime.
Democrat policies killed Laken Riley. Please don’t ever give them power again.

Pete Stauber (R) Mn just introduced legislation to require all American judges to be natural-born US citizens. It would also require any sitting judge to renounce their foreign citizenship within 60 days. Too bad that couldn’t be applied to congress.

“The Left’s War on Sports”
Clandestine, Feb 24, 2026
“This outrage over the Men’s USA Hockey team is incredibly stupid, but it’s important we recognize it for what it is. It’s proof that the Left have politicized EVERYTHING. They injected their politics into every element of our society. They infected movies, TV, sports, music, art, video games, news, academia, social media, the corporate world, essentially every piece of media we consume, etc.
They made it so being openly political about Left-wing narratives is accepted and encouraged, but if you show anything but vile hatred towards Trump and America, they will unleash their media apparatus and seek to destroy you.
This is why the Left are so upset about the Men’s Hockey team, because they DESPERATELY do not want the public or other athletes to see that it’s okay to be friendly towards Trump, or to show any level of patriotism. They did the same thing when Saquon Barkley took a ride with Trump on Marine One, or whenever any team visits Trump at the White House.
Why? Because they don’t want other people to think it’s okay to start showing their support for Trump. It’s all part of their desire to control public perception. They have weaponized everything to serve their nefarious agenda.
So when people get mad about the politicization of sports, there is only one side to blame. The Left have gotten completely out of control, and we can no longer sit back and passively ignore this insanity. We must confront it, or they will consume us all.”

i would not care if a leftist was unhappy with the hockey team–that’s their choice. But they don’t want ANYONE to be happy about the hockey team’s choice. that’s not their business.

“So, the reality is, we’re all slowly but surely dying off. What’s gonna happen when we’re gone?
Starting this year and basically for the next 12 to 20 years, we are going to see a rapidly dying population among the Baby Boomers simply because we are aging towards and beyond 80. The next generation will not be able to fill the gaps left behind in terms of housing and income.
This will make profound changes in the society and its effects will be keenly felt in places like The Villages and Sun City, Arizona where there is concentration of retirees. The age restrictions will fade away in who can buy houses in these retirement communities because by 2038, it is expected that 9 million houses may be unsold if age restrictions are not removed.
This glut of housing is going to surely put pressure on prices and house prices will decline in The Villages and Sun City, Arizona and elsewhere over the next 12 – 20 years. Now there’s something to look forward to, huh?”

“FIGHT FLU Act: Federal Lawmakers Float Taxpayer-Funded Mobile Vaccine Program — The Federal Investment in Grants for Health Transportation and Flu-vaccination Local Units Act of 2026 (FIGHT FLU Act) would allow federal officials to use taxpayer dollars — with no set spending limit — to buy vehicles, equipment and vaccines and deploy them in communities across the country. Reps. Josh Gottheimer and Jennifer Kiggans introduced the measure this month.”
by Jill Erzen, February 24, 2026
EXCERPT: “Congress has introduced a bill that would make federally funded mobile vaccination units a permanent part of U.S. public health law. The Federal Investment in Grants for Health Transportation and Flu-vaccination Local Units Act of 2026 (FIGHT FLU Act) would allow federal officials to use taxpayer dollars — with no set spending limit — to buy vehicles, equipment and vaccines and deploy them in communities across the country.
The bill would amend the Public Health Service Act — the federal statute that gives the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) authority to enforce quarantines, prevent the spread of communicable diseases, plan for epidemics and respond to public health emergencies nationwide.
Reps. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.) and Jennifer Kiggans (R-Va.) introduced the measure this month. “I am fighting back against dangerous changes coming out of Washington that undermine vaccine confidence and put kids at risk,” Gottheimer said in a statement. If passed, the bill would “establish a demonstration program to award grants to States to improve the provision of recommended immunizations for children, adolescents, and adults through the use of mobile vaccination units.”
The HHS secretary would oversee the program and send federal funds to states.
“We need to bring health care to people — not expect them to fight traffic, miss work, or skip care altogether,” Gottheimer said. “The FIGHT FLU Act is about improving access and making it easier to save lives.”
The bill refers to flu vaccines directly only in its title. It does not specify if the vaccines administered through mobile units must be recommended by the federal government…..”

“DAWG: Panama Supreme Court Annuls Chinese Canal Ports Deal, Country Retakes Possession”
Beege Welborn 11:20 AM | February 24, 2026
EXCERPT: “The last time I wrote anything at length about the Panama Canal specifically was last April, so almost a year ago.
The new Trump administration had moved swiftly to reassert American influence in the region and engineered a pretty impressive about-face as far as the Panamanian government went, which had been in the middle of a Belt and Road Initiative build-up with the Chinese Communists.
All that came to a screeching halt. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth went down there with a couple of US Navy ships for some collaborative maneuvers, managed to back the Panamanians out of a recently extended port management agreement with Hong Kong-based firm CK Hutchinson subsidiary Panama Ports Company (PPC) , and into a multinational deal to sell the rights (among others) for the Panamanian Canal ports to Blackrock.
Heads exploded in Beijing, who reached out and scuttled the entire deal, sending a high-level Chinese delegation to the isthmus country to do some personal reaffirmation relationship damage control.
The Chinese delegation walked into an unfriendly fusillade of reawakened Panamanian-American ties, and left the country with even less than they’d had on arrival.
The president of Panama announced an official withdrawal from the BRI, Hegseth announced a deal working towards allowing American warships to transit the Canal ‘cost neutral,’ and the Panamanian government went after the port company for ‘failing to meet its contractual obligations’ and told them they wanted them gone.
In the intervening months, as Latin America itself seemed to swing back towards the United States, as country after country shook off Marxist-induced decades of torpor and decline by electing conservative, US-friendly candidates, Panama and CK Hutchinson waited for a court decision.
That finally came yesterday, and the government was ready for it. In January, the Panamanian Supreme Court ruled that the original agreement between the country and the Hong Kong firm was ‘unconstitutional.’
In yesterday’s ruling, it also annulled the extended port contract signed in 2021…..”
