What Shall We Bake Today?

The last recipe this month is Apple Cinnamon Rolls!

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

2 tsp instant yeast

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup warm milk

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

1-2 tbsp milk (for glaze)

Instructions:

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, or until smooth and elastic. Place it in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

While the dough rises, prepare the filling. In a medium bowl, toss the diced apples with cinnamon and brown sugar.

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

Spread the apple mixture evenly over the dough, then roll it up tightly from one edge.

Cut the dough into 8 even slices and place them in a greased baking pan.

Cover and let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes, or until puffy.

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

While the rolls bake, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth.

Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls and serve.

ENJOY!

Just The News: “President Donald Trump on Thursday night sued his own Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service for $10 billion, alleging they failed to prevent a former IRS contractor from leaking his tax returns, and those of his sons and his company, to news outlets.

The lawsuit is related to former IRS contractor Charles Littlejohn, who pleaded guilty to one count of unauthorized disclosure of tax information in 2023, referring to the president’s tax records, and was sentenced to five years in prison.

The lawsuit, filed in a Miami Federal courthouse, specifies that Trump is suing in his personal capacity and not as president, along with his sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., and the Trump Organization, according to NBC News.

“Defendants have caused Plaintiffs reputational and financial harm, public embarrassment, unfairly tarnished their business reputations, portrayed them in a false light, and negatively affected President Trump, and the other Plaintiffs’ public standing,” the complaint said.

The move marks the first time that a sitting president has ever sued his own administration for a monetary reward, even for actions done by previous administrations.”

Authorities Put CCP-Tied Trailer Park Next To Top Secret US Bomber Base On Notice

Secretary of State Denny Hoskins announced Thursday the administrative cancellation of Property Solutions 3603 LP, the operator of a Knob Noster Trailer Park that shares a perimeter fence with Whiteman Air Force Base, home to the B-2 stealth bombers.

The company is ultimately controlled by a Georgia-based firm owned by a Canadian couple with ties to disgraced Chinese tycoon Miles Guo, who has publicly identified himself as a former CCP intelligence “affiliate,” a November DCNF investigation revealed.

Business records obtained by the DCNF show the property is owned through a web of shell companies controlled by Esther Mei and Cheng Hu. The Canadian couple has connections to the New Federal State of China, an organization associated with Guo. The self-described former CCP-affiliate was convicted in 2024 for orchestrating a fraud scheme exceeding $1 billion and is currently awaiting sentencing.

Mei, Hu and the New Federal State of China did not respond to the DCNF’s requests for comment, while Guo could not be reached.

Those concerns were underscored in early January when federal prosecutors announced charges against a Chinese illegal immigrant who allegedly photographed the B-2 aircraft by the base’s perimeter fence.

Worries about Chinese-owned property near sensitive military sites extend beyond Whiteman Air Force Base.

Air Force Global Strike Command, based at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana and oversees all U.S. intercontinental ballistic missiles and nuclear bombers, is flanked by two golf courses owned by a Chinese intelligence official, a January DCNF investigation found.

“Secretary Hoskins deserves the gratitude of all Americans for acting decisively to protect American national security,” Michael Lucci, founder and CEO of State Armor, told the DCNF. “When Hoskins saw a company presenting a threat to Whiteman Air Force Base, he acted to administratively cancel that company for violating Missouri law.”

  2. Just The News: “The War Department said Thursday that the United States’ Air Force and Navy will conduct a “super” flyover during the Super Bowl next month in honor of America’s 250th birthday. The Seattle Seahawks will face the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX, which will take place on Feb. 8 at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

The department said the joint flyover will consist of two Air Force B-1 Lancers, two Air Force F-15E Strike Eagles, alongside a pair of Navy F/A-18E Super Hornets and two F-35C Lightning IIs.

“At one of the most-watched events in the world, the flyover will be a visible reminder that America’s military remains united, ready and dominant — 250 years strong,” the department said in a news release. “A joint Armed Forces Color Guard from Washington, D.C., will also render military honors during the national anthem at the Super Bowl.”

  3. “The Truth About Malaysian Flight 370 Is Scarier Than The Conspiracy Theories — Accepting that one man deliberately killed 238 other people with the flick of a button is far more disturbing than imagining elaborate conspiracies.”

    Malaysia airlines flight takes off

EXCERPT: “The Malaysian government recently announced the resumption of the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 in the remote depths of the Indian Ocean.

The contract, awarded to U.S.-based firm Ocean Infinity on a no-find, no-fee basis, aims to finally locate the aircraft that vanished on March 8, 2014. The search is underway and has predictably sparked a fresh wave of commentary, speculation, and YouTube videos. Most of it, however, is little more than clickbait, exploiting the flight’s reputation as “the greatest unsolved mystery in aviation history.” Theories range from remote-control hijacking and onboard fires to an elaborate Russian plot and even claims of a U.S. military shootdown.

The reality is far simpler. For anyone who has actually examined the evidence, MH370 is not especially mysterious. Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah hijacked his own aircraft, incapacitated everyone on board by depressurizing the cabin, and then deliberately flew the Boeing 777 into the southern Indian Ocean. The evidence supporting this conclusion is not circumstantial or speculative. It is overwhelming, methodical, and points unambiguously to that single explanation.

    The Simulator Evidence

In the weeks before the disappearance, Shah conducted flight simulator sessions at his home in Kuala Lumpur that were anything but routine. He had programmed and flown a route beginning in Kuala Lumpur, proceeding northwest up the Strait of Malacca, then turning south into the remote southern Indian Ocean before fuel exhaustion.

This route closely matches the path MH370 actually flew, based on initial radar tracking and subsequently discovered satellite data. The simulation ended in one of the most remote regions of the Indian Ocean, thousands of miles from any diversion airport. The probability of this being coincidental is effectively zero. There is no innocent explanation for why a pilot would practice flying from his home airport into one of the most isolated areas on Earth, then weeks later fly that same route with 238 people aboard.

    The Hijacking

MH370 departed Kuala Lumpur at 00:41 on March 8, 2014, bound for Beijing. At 01:19, the flight sent its final transmission: “Good night Malaysian three seven zero.” Less than two minutes later, the transponder was disabled, precisely at the handoff point between Malaysian and Vietnamese airspace. This maximized the delay before either country would realize something was wrong…..”

    “…..Case Closed

All the evidence points to a single, incontrovertible explanation. So why do so many alternative theories persist? Partly because clickbait dominates social and other media, and partly because it is psychologically easier to believe in mysteries than to confront uncomfortable truths.

Accepting that one man deliberately killed 238 other people with the flick of a button is far more disturbing than imagining elaborate conspiracies. Finding the wreckage may provide closure and silence the most absurd claims. In reality, however, the mystery has already been solved. MH370 happened exactly one way, and we know what that way was.”

A prime example of these “blurred ethical lines” is none other than Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, who reportedly paid nearly $2.8 million to her husband’s political consulting firm during the 2019-2020 election cycle.

According to Fox News, these payments accounted for nearly 70% of her disbursements during her third quarter, exceeding the total amount all congressional candidates combined paid their immediate relatives during the 2012 election cycle.

“Members of Congress are sent to Washington to represent the interests of their constituents — not to line their spouses’ pockets with campaign funds,” Wied told Blaze News.

  7. Not sure when this was posted…..

“Based on the fact that Canada has wrongfully, illegally, and steadfastly refused to certify the Gulfstream 500, 600, 700, and 800 Jets, one of the greatest, most technologically advanced airplanes ever made, we are hereby decertifying their Bombardier Global Expresses, and all Aircraft made in Canada, until such time as Gulfstream, a Great American Company, is fully certified, as it should have been many years ago. Further, Canada is effectively prohibiting the sale of Gulfstream products in Canada through this very same certification process. If, for any reason, this situation is not immediately corrected, I am going to charge Canada a 50% Tariff on any and all Aircraft sold into the United States of America. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
