Morning All!
well, we’re at least starting the day warmer than yesterday–it a whopping 20* this morning!
snow expected though.
Last night after we checked out, we walked to the vestibule and hubby said stay here, I’ll bring the Jeep up. so i pushed the cart over to the side and there was an older man standing there. “You got told to stay too?” he asked.
I smiled and said “yeah, me too.”
We started a nice conversation about the holidays and getting ready and he said we need a tree yet. I nodded and said “Us too.”
He reminded me some of my Dad–he had on one of those warm looking Russian type hats–Dad wore those–and had a nice smile.

Good morning! Ah! One of the Kossack-looking wool hats? My Dad had one of those, too! Kind of like this?
The wind has been horrendous all night (temp @ 29) so as soon as I got up, I turned on the patio light to make sure the plastic hadn’t been blown off of the windows. Lo and behold, who’s waiting but Wheezer!!!! Man, was he ever hungry! He ate almost a full can of tuna!!! Now he’s on the chair cleaning his face. Thankfully, no more snow overnight but still really windy. Oh, and all the plastic is still in place, thankfully.

Sen. Rand Paul says they possess overwhelming and damning evidence of Anthony Fauci’s crimes.
He’s currently cooperating, but a subpoena is ready if needed. “We know from our research that he has emails with Francis Collins talking about deleting messages.
That’s against the law. He also lied over the idea of funding gain-of-function research in China, that’s also a crime.”
“We have sent request for the last six months to him to get information.
He is cooperating.
We are looking at phone records and emails. We are trying to negotiate a time to come in a testify. He hasn’t agreed to that.
We’ll see in a couple weeks if he agrees to testify or needs to be subpoenaed.

There are 22 billion gallons of raw sewage flowing into San Diego, California from Mexico It turns out – The Coastal Commission, the agency that’s supposed to protect our coastline, approved a 600% increase in sewage flowing from Mexico into the United States
– The California Coastal Commission also promised sewage treatment upgrades more than 20 years ago, and those upgrades are still unfinished
– California has access to $48 billion in federal water funding, yet it hasn’t been used to fix South Bay sewage crisis
– In 2020 Gavin Newsom signed SB507 bill, which decommissioned pumps and lift stations and allowed sewage to flow into the United States via the Tijuana river valley “So our beaches stay closed, our coastline continues to erode, and our community stays sick.”

the majority arrested and convicted so far have been somalis–but you blame the entire community–and he’s threatening to pull support from republicans? so they’re voting? are they allowed to vote?
FTA
But most importantly, we know that this is conflating the truth here. You cannot single out an entire community for the acts of individuals; we know that, and the president is using this moment to try and target our community. In fact, you know, most of the local republicans in the state of Minnesota did not make that mistake, of claiming the entire community is responsible for the acts of individuals. In this moment, some of them are jumping in on that, and it’s gonna be unfortunate because in the state of Minnesota we actually saw an increase of Trump supporters even within the Somali American community. He should be asked about that. That now we are seeing many of those individuals not supporting Republican candidates in the future. He is also targeting his own base that supported him in this past election.

why are these events NOT disqualifying???
FTA
Part of the blame goes to voters who elect candidates whose personal histories should be disqualifying:
Representative Henry Cuellar (D-TX) was under federal indictment for money laundering and accepting bribes in exchange for advocating on behalf of Azerbaijan and a Mexican bank, but was allowed to remain in office.
He is only one of many who have taken money from nations hostile to America or gotten cozy with spies — think Linda Sun or Eric Swalwell. Despite the allegations, there are rarely consequences. In fact, despite having been involved with a Chinese spy, Eric Swalwell is still in Congress, and plans to run for governor of California.
Is it any wonder Americans distrust the government?

Just The News: “Democrat Eileen Higgins is projected Tuesday night to become Miami’s first Democratic mayor in nearly 30 years, according to the Associated Press.
Higgins defeated former Miami city manager Emilio Gonzalez, the conservative in the race. Higgins, who was a Miami Dade County commissioner before making it to the runoff last month, will replace the term-limited incumbent Mayor Francis Suarez.
“I’ve never been prouder to be a Democrat,” Higgins told the Associated Press. “We’re living in the state of Florida, where we have people that are building cages for our residents rather than affordable housing for them.”
Miami, with a population of 487,000, is Florida’s second most populous city and part of Miami-Dade, which President Trump flipped last year to win reelection, after losing to his Democratic opponents there in the 2016 and 2020 elections.
Higgins has promised to find city-owned land that could be turned into affordable housing and cut unnecessary spending. She is now expected to be the first Democratic mayor of Miami since 1997.”

EXCERPT: “The Supreme Court’s decision to hear challenges to President Donald Trump’s executive order ending birthright citizenship has triggered predictable outrage from the left, which insists the Constitution “plainly” guarantees citizenship to anyone born on U.S. soil. They cite more than half a century of practice and supposed precedent, in particular the 1898 case United States v. Wong Kim Ark.
But the Supreme Court has never been bound to preserve a decision simply because it is old, especially when that decision is wrong.
Wong Kim Ark did more than just misinterpret the 14th Amendment. It effectively rewrote the citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment according to English feudal principles that the founders — and framers — rejected. In doing so, the court created a doctrine that the amendment’s authors surely never intended.
The Supreme Court now has the chance to correct that mistake.
Wong Kim Ark was born in 1873 in San Francisco to Chinese parents who were subjects of the Emperor of China but were “domiciled residents” at the time of his birth. After visiting China as an adult, Ark was denied entry into the United States on the grounds that he was not a citizen.
The question before the court was whether a child born to “subjects of the Emperor of China, [who] have a permanent domicile and residence in the United States … becomes at the time of his birth a citizen of the United States.”
A 6-2 majority, led by Justice Horace Gray, said yes. But the reasoning that got the majority to its decision is indefensible. Gray based his entire opinion on the idea that the 14th Amendment must be understood in terms of English common law.
“In this as in other respects, it must be interpreted in the light of the common law, the principles and history of which were familiarly known to the framers of the Constitution,” Gray reasoned. “The language of the Constitution, as has been well said, could not be understood without reference to the common law.”
Gray further argued that “the Fourteenth Amendment affirms the ancient and fundamental rule of citizenship by birth within the territory, in the allegiance and under the protection of the country, including all children here born of resident aliens.”
But as scholar Edward Erler argued in his book United States in Crisis: Citizenship, Immigration, and the Nation State, the phrase “‘subject to the jurisdiction’ is alien to the common law.”
Erler also explains that English common law historically based membership in the king’s dominion on allegiance, but the “framers of the Citizenship Clause intentionally avoided using the word ‘allegiance’ in the clause because they wanted to dispel any idea that citizenship derived from the common law.”
“Thus, Justice Gray’s argument in Wong Kim Ark — that the plain language must yield a common law result — is demonstrably wrong; it was intended to yield the opposite result. The express intention … was to avoid any possible inference that the Citizenship Clause derived any meaning from the common law.”
But Gray dismissed that intention outright. He even wrote that congressional debates were “not admissible” in interpreting the amendment — a bizarre claim given that the debates and statements of purpose are routinely used in interpreting amendments. “[T]he intention of the Congress which framed and the states which adopted this Amendment of the Constitution must be sought in the words of the Amendment; and the debates in Congress are not admissible as evidence to control the meaning of those words,” Gray wrote.
Gray only dismissed the framers’ debates because if he would have properly acknowledged them, he could have never reached the conclusion he did, as Erler points out. In short, Gray substituted English monarchical doctrine for the framers’ republican understanding of law and their own intentions.
The dissent in Wong Kim Ark also observed that such a reliance on common law was incorrect: “[W]hen the sovereignty of the Crown was thrown off and an independent government established, every rule of the common law and every statute of England obtaining in the Colonies in derogation of the principles on which the new government was founded was abrogated,” the minority argued.
In other words, the Revolution itself severed any claim that English feudal concepts governed American citizenship. Therefore, it is unreasonable that Gray’s entire decision is based upon a concept that was expressly rejected by the founders themselves when they created this country. (Notably, as Erler points out, the framers of the 14th Amendment saw themselves as finishing the work of the founders in regard to natural rights and natural law, and therefore they could not have been trying to resurrect the idea of English common law in the land.)…..”

iirc an article you posted yesterday clearly showed the writer’s intent indicating that merely being here and dropping a baby did NOT confer citizenship to said baby but that part of his writing was not included in the amendment or something like that.

DOJ Launches Civil Rights Investigation Into Colorado Prison System —
Including the Facility Where Political Prisoner Tina Peters Is Being Held | The Gateway Pundit:
“Colorado is running a political prison system, and one of its most high-profile victims is former Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters, now gravely ill inside a DOC facility that has repeatedly retaliated against her, denied her proper medical care, and subjected her to inhumane living conditions.
On December 8, Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon sent an official notice to Colorado Governor Jared Polis announcing the opening of a sweeping Civil Rights Division investigation into the Colorado Department of Corrections (DOC) and the Department of Youth Services (DYS).
The investigation covers conditions across 21 state-run facilities and 12 youth centers, including the facility where Tina Peters is currently incarcerated.
This action comes after mounting reports of constitutional violations, excessive force, unsafe conditions, medical neglect, and religious discrimination inside Colorado prisons.
And one case embodies those abuses more clearly than any other: Tina Peters, the whistleblower who dared to expose vulnerabilities in Colorado’s election systems.
“Under my direction, Civil Rights has opened an investigation into the entire Colorado prison system following multiple reports of unconstitutional and legally insufficient carceral conditions. Prisoners have civil rights,” Dhillon announced on X.” ……. FakeGovernor Jared Polis is trying to kill Tina Peters in prison to hide the CIA’s Dominion CheatWare Election Fraud in Colorado, and worldwide. This is President Trump’s warning to Polis not to murder Tina Peters, who is, by the way, Colorado’s Actual Secretary of State.

“European Sperm Bank scandal: Donor carrying deadly TP53 cancer conceived nearly 200 children, some already have cancer. Nearly 200 children were conceived using sperm from the ill-fated donor in 14 countries around the world”
Remix News Staff, December 10, 2025
(AP Photo/Roman Hrytsyna)
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “For nearly two decades, the Denmark-based European Sperm Bank (ESB) used sperm from a donor who was later diagnosed with the deadly TP53 mutation, which is known to present an extremely high risk of cancer. At least 197 children were conceived from the single donor.
The case came to light following an international journalistic investigation reported by the German press. As the report indicates, these nearly 200 children were conceived using the sperm from the ill-fated donor in 14 countries around the world. These children may be at extremely high risk of cancer.
As the investigation describes, the first signs of the problem appeared already in 2020, when a suspicious mutation was detected in one of the children. Subsequent tests were inconclusive because the mutation was “present only in some sperm cells.”
However, instead of halting the use of his sperm, donations from this donor continued, with more families using his sperm to conceive. It was not until 2023, when cancer cases began to appear in different countries, that a common source was identified.
“Then the donation was blocked,” the report states. Although the sperm bank is required to notify clinics of detected genetic defects, “in this case the system completely failed.”
Families in many countries, including France, Germany, and Belgium, have not received any official communications. “Many parents learned about the mutation from the media or from other families, while institutions remained silent. Some children have already fallen ill, and deaths have also been reported.”
The donor profile, cataloged as 7069, was entered into the ESB catalog in 2007. He was described as a tall economics student with light brown hair. His sperm was sold not only throughout Europe but also in places as far away as Afghanistan and Bolivia.
At the same time, the European Sperm Bank was recording record financial results. “In 2023, the company achieved over €8 million in profit.” The case also revealed that limits on the number of families per donor were effectively ignored. “In Belgium alone, 53 children were born from donor sperm 7069, even though local regulations allow a maximum of six families.”
The European Sperm Bank attempted to explain the situation by citing “reporting errors, computer system problems and the phenomenon of reproductive tourism.” The result, however, was a situation in which one man’s genetic material found its way to dozens of families in different countries, without real control and without ensuring basic health security. “This case reveals the scale of chaos in European sperm donation procedures, the lack of transparency and the lack of uniform control standards.”
Families are today demanding the creation of an international donor registry and the introduction of global limits that will prevent the re-spread of single-donor DNA on such a massive scale.”

From WorldAtlas.com – “High grocery costs are important indicators of how people are living. The states at the top of this ranking share clear, measurable pressures that shape what families pay at the checkout. The States with the highest average weekly grocery bills are Hawaii ($333.88) and Alaska ($328.71), naturally. Hawaii faces high import costs tied to ocean freight and limited local supply, while Alaska’s prices reflect long internal distances, harsh weather, and reliance on barge and air freight for many communities. Cost structure matters too. On the mainland, California, Washington, Nevada, Texas, and Florida combine strong metro demand with high wages, commercial rents, utilities, and distribution costs that raise the price of everyday food.
High bills can surprisingly surface in lower-cost regions. Mississippi and Louisiana illustrate the price effects of rural coverage gaps, weaker competition in some markets, and storm-related supply risk along the Gulf. New Mexico shows how long-distance distribution for sparsely populated regions can push groceries higher.
One of the formulas they didn’t discuss is how the numbers fluctuate by family size and whether or not financial aid is involved. Mississippi is a bit of a shocker, also. They also didn’t discuss the chubbies and how much more they spend…”

U.S. District Judge Richard M. Berman reversed his earlier decision to keep the transcripts sealed, citing the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which was enacted last month, creating a narrow exception to rules that normally keep grand jury proceedings confidential, The Associated Press reported. The law requires the government to open its files on Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
Berman previously cautioned that the roughly 70 pages of grand jury materials slated for release are hardly revelatory.
The law requires that the Justice Department release Epstein-related records to the public by Dec. 19.”

“DOJ finally restores equality under the law by getting rid of “disparate-impact” policy that has ruled America for 50 years”
Not The Bee, Joel Abbott, Dec 9, 2025
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “In 1971, the Supreme Court case Griggs v. Duke Power banned IQ tests for jobs on the basis that they were racist. (Still can’t believe that’s a real thing that happened 💀).
The precedent not only ruined hiring, making degrees (credentialism) the only way businesses could reliably find qualified candidates, but it also set the stage for “disparate impact,” or the idea that minorities could sue if some law or policy disproportionately impacted them, even if that law was meant to be neutral. Most people don’t know that this how our system works, like Addy:
This is why leftists have claimed that the criminal justice system is racist against blacks. It doesn’t matter that American blacks actually commit crime at higher rates than other ethnic groups; what matters is that more blacks are being arrested, therefore the law is seen as “inequitable.”If that sounds like commie gobbledygook, it is, but it’s been the standard for the last 50 years in America.
That’s now changing:
More from the DOJ:
Amazing that we went 60 years past the “civil rights” era with unjust discrimination in the other direction and we are only now correcting course.
Like I said, we’re finally getting what we were supposed to be getting in 1964!!
There could be legitimate questions for why the DOJ is ending this policy now, given that Americans have recently and successfully claimed disparate impact for affirmative action (Asian and whites disparately impacted by colleges favoring blacks) and migrant work (American workers disparately hurt by allowing H-1Bs from India).
While some may be sad that they couldn’t use the unjust rule for their own benefit, the unjust rule is gone, nonetheless.
For the wokies who are upset about this – who was that guy who said he wanted his kids to be judged by their conduct and the content of their character? Oh yeah. Haters will say this photo isn’t real.“

“Right-Wing Influencers are Under Psychological Attack”
Clandestine, Dec 10, 2025
“I believe Right-wing influencers have been the targets of a psychological operation to fracture MAGA.
Nefarious entities bombarded Right-wing influencers with waves of bots to persuade/entice/bully them into pushing anti-Trump narratives.
Influencers were being positively reinforced with millions of likes/views when they say negative things about Trump/Israel. Many are stuck in a dopamine loop, chasing likes/views, and are rewarded by saying “Trump/Israel bad”. Most don’t know they are even being manipulated. They are unwitting stooges. They have no idea they are being artificially boosted by nefarious entities, with the intent of shifting public perception and sabotaging Trump’s support.
I believe what we have been witnessing is a highly coordinated psychological operation, and Right-wing influencers were the target. Once these entities controlled the influencers via positive reinforcement and monetary incentive via ad revenue, they were able to push their anti-Trump narratives through the influencers, directly to Trump’s supporters.
Now that the MSM has lost substantial influence over the public, Deep State entities are aiming to control the influencers, and in many cases, they are succeeding.
We are the media now. Anyone who has influence, is a target. You are engaged in psychological/information warfare, whether you know it or not.”

Just The News: “Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent slammed the Democratic governors of Colorado, Illinois and New York on Wednesday as the “Grinches who stole Christmas,” for refusing to approve provisions of President Donald Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill.
Bessent accused New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker and Colorado Gov. Jared Polis of failing to enact the No Tax on Tips and No Tax on Overtime provisions of the bill, which was signed into law in July.
“Thanks to [President Trump] ‘tis the season to be jolly – unless you’re a taxpayer in New York, Colorado, Illinois, or the District of Columbia,” Bessent wrote on X. “For millions of hardworking Americans, [the governors] are the Grinches who Stole Christmas.
“Courtesy of their Scrooge-like tendencies, America’s seniors, along with all workers who would benefit from No Tax on Tips and No Tax on Overtime, will be robbed of the tax relief they deserve,” he continued. “The Christmas season should be a time of great cheer. But due to the Trump Derangement Syndrome of these Governors and other radical leftists, too many low- and middle-income households will receive nothing but coal in their state tax stockings.”
Bessent urged the remaining states “to immediately conform and stop punishing their citizens for partisan games,” by not enacting the provisions, stating “the American people voted for bold change, not bureaucratic roadblocks.”
The secretary added that his department is ready to work with any state committed to delivering on that promise of bold change, according to Fox News. “This is about putting America first,” Beseent told the outlet. “Starting with the families and workers who make our economy the envy of the world.”
