FROM: DIYJOY.COM:
This Thanksgiving, go all out and be extra by folding your table napkins into turkeys before placing them on top of the plates. Your family and guests will love this for sure, they might even ask you how you did it. It’s super easy and quick to make and you can fold as many table napkins as you like. If you want to learn how then simply proceed to read the instructions down below and watch the video tutorial as well so that you can see how it is exactly done. I am so glad that I saw this video tutorial by Chinet on YouTube and I will surely try this at my Thanksgiving party.
Materials:
Table napkins
Directions:
Step 1
Unfold the table napkin, then lay it on your work surface, and fold the top corners down until the edges are nicely matching in the middle. Fold over both sides to meet in the middle, then fold both sides once more until nicely matching in the middle, and fold it down in half. Fold the tip up, then lift the half up so it resembles a turkey’s head, and set it aside.

Step 2
Grab another table napkin, then leave it folded lengthwise, and start folding it crosswise into an accordion. Leave about 3 inches at the end of the table napkin unfolded, then turn it over, and fold it over in half. Tuck the unfolded portion into the center accordion, then open it up, and it should resemble a fan. Place this on top of the turkey napkin and behind the head.

Now if all of that sounds a little complicated, there’s a video that might be easier to follow!

Good Morning Filly!
I always place all the food dishes on the island in the kitchen, leaving the table clear for the dinner rolls, butter, gravy, and wine glasses.
speaking of wine…we’re bottling the last wine of the year this morning! (in case i disappear for a bit.)

“turkey giveaway” leads to Act Blue…surprise, surprise…
FTA
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez sent out an email asking supporters to donate for a Thanksgiving turkey giveaway in New York City. “Thanksgiving is two weeks away. Will you chip in $5 or anything you can today to help us bring the joy of the holiday season into homes around NYC this year?” the message read.
But those who clicked the link found themselves on ActBlue, the Democratic fundraising platform, contributing directly to her campaign. The page included a disclosure: paid for by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for Congress, with donations not qualifying as charitable deductions.
This approach differs from her past efforts. In 2021, she raised more than $33,500 for local charities. Last year, her campaign spent $13,101 at a Bronx food supplier just before the holiday. Now, with whispers of a Senate bid or even a 2028 presidential run circulating, the funds flow straight to her political coffers, which already hold an impressive $11.8 million in cash reserves.
Critics aren’t buying the holiday spirit. Former City Council Minority Leader Joe Borelli questioned the setup: “A campaign is not supposed to be a pass-through for charitable work. What if she raised enough money for a million turkeys? Would she buy a million turkeys, or would she keep $990,000 for her campaign and then throw the rest of the turkeys out the back of a truck and take a photo-op?”
Queens City Councilman Robert Holden, a fellow Democrat, called it out too: “Socialists like AOC and Mamdani love to promise everything for free, but somehow it always ends with them shaking down working people under the guise of community good will. It is a typical bait and switch, pretending to be for the people while quietly pillaging them for every dollar they can get.”
Paul Kamenar from the National Legal and Policy Center went further: “She’s pitching: give it to me to help out people, and then it says it’s going to her benefit. It’s a ‘shady deal she’s cooking up here. It appears that AOC’s turkey giveaway project may be a fraudulent scheme to solicit donations for her campaign.’”

EXCERPT: “President Donald Trump told Just the News on Sunday morning that he will designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization, striking a blow against a group long blamed for destabilizing the Middle East and radicalizing young Muslims.
“It will be done in the strongest and most powerful terms,” Trump said. “Final documents are being drawn.”
The president’s announcement came just days after Just the News published a long expose on the Muslim Brotherhood’s activities and growing concerns inside the Trump administration. Trump has been considering the move since his first administration.
The Muslim Brotherhood is an Islamist group founded nearly a century ago in Egypt but with chapters, parties, and affiliated movements around the world.
Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott last week designated the MB and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as being “foreign terrorist organizations and transnational criminal organizations.” CAIR has denied the label and sued the Texas government. According to Politico, “CAIR says that proclamation, which bars its members from buying land in Texas, violates its members’ constitutional property and free speech rights.”
Republicans in the House and the Senate, along with some Democrats, have been pushing the State Department to designate the Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization. Secretary of State Marco Rubio indicated in August that the designation of the MB as a foreign terrorist organization was “in the works” but that the process was a lengthy and careful one, including because the MB has numerous branches and affiliates to examine individually.
A number of Middle Eastern countries have already taken action against the MB, with Egypt and Jordan banning the group and Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain labeling it a terrorist organization…..”

I texted Gage and told him to wait to come up until it gets warmer….brrrrrr! At least the sun is shining and temp is already up to 40. He replied that Courtney is coming with him to help and to look at the other things that I want to hand off. It does no good for me to ask Gage what she might like – best for her to look at it herself.

I am enjoying watching various government officials try to weasel out of charges of “mortgage fraud.” These crimes are usually so easy to prove that a judge can issue a so-called “directed judgment” without conducting a trial or convening a jury.
The documents are public. They are sworn statements bearing a notary’s seal. The notary attests to the identity of the signer, who must execute the document in their presence. So, now the judge simply lays them out side-by-side and see if they are consistent. The only other alternative being that they are necessarily fraudulent.
There is no middle ground – nothing for a jury to have to decide. The sworn documents speak for themselves. And, you signed them. Somebody who had already identified you, watched you do it, and then affixed his or her seal in testament. If you did it, with no one holding a gun to your head, then you intended to do it. If the statements are false, then you knew it.
I find it a bit interesting that there appears to be no national database that banks can use to check for other mortgage applications in conducting “due diligence.” At least I don’t know of one.

Alrighty then! Truck is loaded….and I do mean loaded!!! Gage got everything stacked up and strapped down. Whoopee! I also went thru the house with both of them and got rid of a bunch of clothes for Courtney’s daughter and a bunch of other knick-knacks and luggage. She took 2 of my latch-hook wall hangings – I told her she can have the Siberian tiger when I die – that’s the one I made while I was sitting @ home waiting for HB’s birth. Gage took one of my Mom’s paintings that he really liked. Courtney really likes my favorite of her paintings, The Wake, but I told her that’s something else she’ll have to wait for.
I did not know that Courtney knew my daughter very well and is best friends with my granddaughter, Ashley – who wants nothing to do with me, of course! HB used to make really awesome grilled cheese sandwiches and it was a thing for the 3 of them to get together for her sandwiches. Learn something new every day!

Just The News: “Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, Harmeet Dhillon, declared that the Department of Justice will not stand for mob intimidation or interference targeting places of worship in response to an incident in Manhattan where a pro-Palestinian group surrounded Park East Synagogue.
The incident took place when Park East Synagogue, under the leadership of 95-year-old Holocaust survivor Rabbi Arthur Schneier, held a legal informational event organized by Nefesh B’Nefesh, a group that helps Jews immigrate to Israel.
Protesters gathered around the synagogue, reportedly blocking entry and chanting hostile slogans such as “Death to the IDF” and “Globalize the Intifada,” along with other antisemitic remarks.
Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s representative said the mayor denounces the actions and rhetoric of the protesters.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Friday, Dhillon pointed out that obstructing access to a house of worship is a federal offense, noting that the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division, led by Attorney General Pam Bondi, was actively investigating gathering details about the incident.”

“In a move that actually appears to make sense in the Senate, a bill has been introduced in the Senate aiming to block the use of SNAP benefits at fast‑food restaurants, a move that could reshape how taxpayer funds are spent.
Senator Joni Ernst (R‑Iowa) argues that food assistance should prioritize actual groceries, not fast‑food chains like Burger King and Taco Bell. With growing concerns over how taxpayer dollars are being allocated, the bill has the potential to spark a much-needed and possibly heated debate on the future of welfare programs.
Ernst’s bill is a direct challenge to practices that most people who aren’t moochers living off the dole see as wasteful and out of line with the original intent of SNAP.”

that seems like a waste- make them go back to paper coupons–so many for meat, so many for fruits and vegetables…and a FEW for cereals.
NONE for this crap! it’s expensive and a waste of taxpayers’ monies!

“I had no idea so many stores are not accepting our national currency – the backstop currency for every country on this planet – for purchases in their stores. Large chains like Target, Lowes, Home Depot and Walmart, in an effort to cut back on labor costs, have gone to cashless-only payment systems, eliminating the need for cashiers.
Ohio lawmakers are considering the “CASH” bill, which would require businesses and government offices to accept cash for payments up to $500 — and ban them from charging extra for it.“

Colorful Ancient Mosaic Discovered in Turkey
“Archaeologists in the Iznik district of northwestern Türkiye have uncovered part of a third-century mosaic floor, first detected during sewer construction in 2014, officials said.
The discovery halted the original construction and led to the expropriation of the site, allowing for proper archaeological investigation. Excavations launched this year by the Iznik Museum Directorate revealed a well-preserved mosaic believed to be part of a hall belonging to either a Roman-era public building or an elite residence.
The floor features depictions, including a woman holding a basket of fruits, a female figure thought to represent Lake Iznik and a range of geometric and three-dimensional motifs.”

“Will Trump be the UFO Disclosure President? Back in 2016, Stephen Bassett was absolutely sure that Hillary Clinton would be the “disclosure” President; he was devastated when that vision was dashed in 2016 with the election of Trump. Now what?”
CognitiveCarbon, Nov 23, 2025
EXCERPT: “This will be an interesting post for “UFO” fanciers, in light of the recent interview of David Grusch on Fox News. Who is Stephen Bassett, and how does he connect to the recent news?
When I went spelunking one day doing research on Bassett, I fell into a deep rabbit hole while reading through some of the Podesta Emails that were posted online by Wikileaks in October of 2016.
Recall that this “leak” occurred just prior to the 2016 election; and also note that it was John Podesta who came on stage late on election night to “concede” on behalf of Hillary, who was somehow unavailable.
One must wonder whether Assange’s’ entanglement with the “Intelligence community” and his imprisonment in England has something to do with all of this, too.
One doesn’t need to have yet reached a conclusion on this UFO topic to still find interest in observing and integrating the flow of “information” (in quotes for a reason) about the UFO/UAP topic.
Whatever this phenomenon is (hidden reality, conspiracy theory, or a massive PsyOp), given this year’s focus on UAPs on Congress, it indicates there is something of interest brewing here, though it isn’t clear yet exactly what.
Yesterday came this interview of Dave Grusch on Fox:
This “disclosure President” topic has a longer history than most people realize…..”
