  1. Morning All!
looks clear but cold out there this morning!
i am pooped. we moved and stacked the 3 cords of wood in less than 3 hours! hubby drove the tractor, my daughter and i loaded the tractor bucket. her ferried the wood to the woodshed where my granddaughter and son in law took it from there and stacked it. it ran like that for 3 hours without stopping! that would have taken hubby and i days to do!
then AFTER lunch, we trimmed back all the brush along the pond and cut up the fallen tree.

    1. Good work crew! Finally getting the light rain this morning that they have been predicting for days. Wheezer was waiting as usual – not asleep but watching carefully for my appearance from the chair. I fed him as usual, then left the patio door open while I sat down at my computer. After eating his tuna, instead of leaving right away (maybe it was the rain), he hunkered down outside the open door so I went about my business.

At one point, I went to the bathroom and when I came back, he was gone – I looked outside and didn’t see him anywhere so I did a quick walk-thru of the living room, and glanced in the front bathroom and bedroom. He has come inside before but never went further than the LR. I didn’t see him anywhere so I just assumed he had gone about his daily wandering, shut the door and sat down.

A couple of minutes later, I heard a sound from the back of the house, and went to see what it was. When I walked back there, I found him in the area where Jake’s litter box used to be. The cover for the litter box (which my Sis forgot to take) was still here and that was what he was pawing at. As soon as I spoke to him, he headed out of the BR and down the hallway, looking back to keep an eye on me the whole way, and on out to the patio. Cheeky little guy and the typical Curious George!

    1. Gen. Mike Flynn:

Shut the entire FEDERAL RESERVE down. No longer allow it to “FIX” our financial system.

It is neither FEDERAL, nor is it a RESERVE. It is obviously filled with elite globalists who believe they can adjust the U.S. financial system based on their own whims.

They are not accountable to the American people at all and yet control our money supply and system.

      NO MORE!

      SHUT IT DOWN!

For the so-called seriously smart “economists,” the U.S. faces staggering debt so don’t try to show how smart you are by saying this is a stupid idea. It is time to SHUT IT DOWN!

      @realDonaldTrump

      @SecScottBessent

you set the interest rates and while you’re at it, eliminate the federal income tax.

  2. Just The News: “President Donald Trump announced that he intends to issue an executive order that would include strict voter ID requirements and restrictions on mail-in ballots.

He said on Saturday that the executive order would call for the end of electronic voting systems and paper ballots as a replacement.

“Voter I.D. Must Be Part of Every Single Vote. NO EXCEPTIONS!” he wrote in a post on his platform Truth Social. “Will Be Doing An Executive Order To That End!!! Also, No Mail-In Voting, Except For Those That Are Very Ill, And The Far Away Military. USE PAPER BALLOTS ONLY!!!”

Critics of Trump’s election plans argue that such decisions should be left up to the states.”

  4. Let’s ask GROK!

Because everything is public with politicians, this is what GROK had to say about Gavin Newsom’s “personal life” – that being his marriages, affairs, and divorce:

“Before entering the spotlight as San Francisco’s mayor, Newsom was involved in a few notable relationships. There were rumors of a brief fling with singer Jewel around 2005, though it was never confirmed.

His most prominent early relationship turned into marriage: He wed Kimberly Guilfoyle, a former prosecutor and TV personality (now known for her role on Fox News and engagement to Donald Trump Jr.), in 2001. They were often dubbed “the new Kennedys” by the media for their glamorous image and political ambitions.

The couple met in the 1990s through mutual friends in San Francisco’s social scene, and their wedding was a big event at a Catholic church.

However, their marriage hit rough patches, partly due to Newsom’s demanding mayoral duties starting in 2003 and Guilfoyle’s career pulling her to New York.

They separated in 2005 and finalized their divorce in 2006, citing the strains of bicoastal living.

Interestingly, they’ve remained on friendly terms—Newsom has even consulted her for political advice in recent years, despite their ideological differences.

    The Affair and Post-Divorce Dating:

Shortly after his divorce, Newsom’s personal life made headlines again in 2007 when he publicly admitted to a brief affair with Ruby Rippey Gibney (then Ruby Rippey-Tourk), who was married to his then-campaign manager and close friend, Alex Tourk.

The affair happened in 2005 while Newsom was still married to Guilfoyle and serving as mayor. Rippey Gibney, who worked as his appointments secretary, later spoke out in 2018, saying the relationship devastated her marriage and led to personal struggles, including substance abuse issues.

Newsom apologized publicly, entered alcohol treatment briefly, and the scandal became a talking point in his later gubernatorial campaigns.

In the years following, Newsom dated a few women before settling down again. He had a short relationship with actress Sofia Milos in 2006, known for her roles in shows like CSI: Miami.

Then came Brittanie Mountz, a 19-year-old college student and restaurant hostess (sometimes described as a model), whom he dated from 2006 to 2007. Their age difference (he was about 39 at the time) drew some media scrutiny, but it was relatively low-key compared to his other relationships.

    Current Marriage:

Newsom met documentary filmmaker and actress Jennifer Siebel in 2006 at a fundraiser, and they married in 2008 in a ceremony at her parents’ ranch in Montana. She’s since become California’s First Partner, advocating for gender equality and producing films like Miss Representation and The Mask You Live In. They have four children.”

  5. “Secretary Kennedy is forced to play a rigged game – what the Senate has permitted is let one Senator with significant conflicts of interests control HHS. This is not right, not proper, not fair. This is a rigged system that undermines genuine reform.

Yes, the Senate has the right to advise and consent to the president’s selection of cabinet members. However, Senate rules should not allow a single Senator to impose unreasonable demands on a cabinet member to secure confirmation; this undermines the authority of the President of the United States.

The Constitution outlines the separation of powers between the executive and legislative branches. These actions by Senator Cassidy are in breach of those powers due to Cassidy’s conflict of interest regarding the pharmaceutical industry.

Cassidy’s pharma ties, including campaign donations and lobbying dollars, as well as the BIO organization document linking Cassidy to their efforts to remove Sec. Kennedy raises legitimate questions about Cassidy’s influence in health policy, especially amid tensions with Kennedy’s HHS reforms.

It seems like there is an ethics violation here, and if not, it should be.”

  6. “War is Deception: Kyiv’s drone factory explosion isn’t chaos. It’s choreography — the same playbook used on Nord Stream 2.”

    Ann Vandersteel, Aug 31, 2025

(Credit to Ann Vandersteel, Restore the Republic or @annvandersteel on X)

1/ Kyiv drone factory blown up. Media screams: “Putin did it.”

But dig deeper — and the fingerprints lead somewhere else. The CIA’s playbook hasn’t changed since Nord Stream 2.

    Because “war is deception.”

2/ A CIA-backed drone factory is built in Kyiv — right next to EU & British delegations. That’s not an accident. That’s bait. Then BOOM. It’s destroyed. Western media instantly blames Putin. No investigation. No hesitation. Classic narrative control.

3/ Cui Bono? (Who Benefits) Let’s ask the only question that matters: Who benefits? Putin gains nothing from striking a building tied to Western diplomats. •The West gains everything — escalation, outrage, and justification for deeper NATO involvement. This is proxy war theater.

4/ Connect the pattern to Nord Stream 2. Remember Nord Stream 2? Biden promised the pipeline “would never happen” if Russia invaded Ukraine. Months later, BOOM — it’s gone. Mainstream media blamed “mystery saboteurs.” Seymour Hersh: CIA carried out the op. Now Kyiv’s drone factory smells like the same playbook.

    5/ The Pattern

    Step 1: Build the target.

    Step 2: Destroy the target.

    Step 3: Blame the enemy.

Step 4: Justify escalation. Rinse. Repeat. From Nord Stream 2 to Kyiv, this is the CIA’s signature M.O.

6/ The Bigger Picture This isn’t about Ukraine vs. Russia. It’s about control — energy corridors, NATO expansion, and keeping Europe dependent on Washington. Every explosion, every “mystery strike,” every headline… carefully staged. Because “war is deception.”

7/ Call to Action: If you’re still buying the mainstream narrative, you’re watching the wrong movie. It’s not chaos. It’s choreography. It’s not defense. It’s strategy. And the CIA has been writing the script for decades. If the media says one thing, it’s another.

  7. “Chicago Must Deal With Their Own Crime Until the People Demand Change” As tempting as it is to wave the federal law enforcement magic wand, President Trump must fight the urge.”

    JD Rucker, Aug 31, 2025

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “In the Windy City, the gusts aren’t the only thing blowing strong—crime rates continue to howl through Chicago’s streets, making it one of America’s most dangerous urban centers. Despite some recent declines in violent incidents, the numbers remain alarmingly high, with Chicago boasting a murder rate that’s three times higher than Los Angeles and nearly five times that of New York City.

As of late August 2025, the city has recorded 262 homicides, a figure that, while down 31% from the previous year, still underscores a persistent crisis that outpaces most other major cities. Residents live in fear, businesses shutter, and neighborhoods decay under the weight of unchecked lawlessness. But as constitutional conservatives, we must ask: is it President Trump’s job to swoop in and fix it?

The answer is a resounding no—not until the people of Chicago rise up and demand real change from their own leaders. After all, they voted for this. They’ve been voting for this for decades. They have rallied behind Democrat rule and, unfortunately for the innocent, they must reap what they sow.

Federal intervention, while tempting as a quick fix, risks trampling on the principles of federalism that are the bedrock of our republic. States and cities must handle their own affairs, and Chicago’s Democrat-led government has had ample opportunity to turn the tide. Forcing federal boots on the ground without local buy-in isn’t just ineffective; it’s an overreach that sets a dangerous precedent for government expansion.

Look no further than Washington, D.C., for a stark contrast. There, President Trump declared a crime emergency earlier this month, deploying the National Guard and issuing an executive order to crack down on rampant violence. D.C.’s homicide rate in 2024 was higher than any state’s, but under federal oversight, crime has seen a moderate drop in recent weeks. Why does this work in the nation’s capital?

Simple: D.C. isn’t a state nor is it categorized as a city. It’s a federal district under direct congressional authority. The Constitution grants the federal government unique jurisdiction there, allowing for swift action without the same concerns over states’ rights. Trump’s measures have led to hundreds of arrests and a tangible sense of order returning to the streets.

Chicago, however, is a different beast entirely. Nestled in Illinois, it’s governed by state laws and local officials who’ve long prioritized progressive policies over public safety—defunding police, lenient bail reforms, and sanctuary city status that shields criminals. President Trump has hinted at expanding his crackdown to places like Chicago, but he should resist that urge.

Lasting change doesn’t come from Washington mandates; it bubbles up from the grassroots. The residents of Chicago—those enduring the daily grind of carjackings, shootings, and robberies—must hold their mayor, city council, and governor accountable. They need to vote out the soft-on-crime crowd and elect leaders who will enforce the law without apology.

We’ve seen this playbook before. In the 1990s, cities like New York turned around by embracing broken windows policing and tougher sentencing, driven by voter demand for safety. Chicago could do the same, but only if its people wake up and say “enough.” Until then, federal intervention would be like putting a Band-Aid on a bullet wound—it might stop the bleeding temporarily, but it won’t heal the underlying rot of failed local governance.

If the administration forces the city to accept federal intervention, it sets a dangerous precedent. What would happen when a future Democrat president decides the federal government needs to step in to enforce woke mandates on red cities and states? They’ll simply point to President Trump’s actions as the predicate.

President Trump is right to focus on securing our borders and supporting law enforcement nationwide, but Chicago’s salvation lies in its own hands. Let the city’s voters demand the change they deserve. When they do, and their leaders finally beg for help, then—and only then—should the feds step in. Anything less undermines the very federalist principles that make America great.”

  8. Just The News: ” A U.S. judge temporarily blocked the Trump administration on Sunday from deporting a group of unaccompanied Guatemalan children who had crossed the border without family members.

Attorneys representing the 10 Guatemalan minors, ages 10 to 17, said in a court filing from Saturday night that the migrants were set to be deported on planes. Judge Sparkle L. Sooknanan in Washington said the deportations could not take place for at least 14 days.

The Associated Press reported that the judge ordered the migrants to be taken off the planes and sent back to the Office of Refugee Resettlement facilities for the time being.”

  9. Just The News: “The U.S. will soon begin imposing a new $250 “visa integrity fee” on foreign travelers. Reuters noted that international travel to the U.S. fell 3.1% year-on-year in July, according to U.S. government data, which was the fifth month of decline so far in 2025.

The fee takes effect on October 1 and will apply to non-visa waiver countries such as Mexico, India, Argentina, Brazil and China.

The new fee brings the average total visa cost to $442, among the highest around the globe.”

  11. “Rejoice: Planned Parenthoods across the country are closing their doors forever!”

Not The Bee, Mister Retrops, Aug 30, 2025

Image for article: Rejoice: Planned Parenthoods across the country are closing their doors forever!

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “In addition to cutting funding to public broadcasting, a.k.a. the mouthpiece of the Democratic party, the Big Beautiful Bill also skewered Planned Parenthood’s $800 million in government funding.

And the abortion factories are toppling quickly. The Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America foundation is tracking the closures via an interactive map. So far, 41 Planned Parenthoods have closed their doors this year.41! But Planned Parenthood may have to shutter over 200 clinics before the year is over.

This attack could force 1 in 3 Planned Parenthood health centers — most in states where abortion is still legal — to close.

And while they’re fighting for all their worth in federal courts to override the will of the people (with the aid of liberal judges), the Supreme Court has already dealt them a deadly blow unrelated to the Big Beautiful Bill, ruling that states with anti-abortion laws can exclude Planned Parenthood from state insurances and Medicaid payments if they want — even for medical services other than abortions. We all know those “other services” only exist to subsidize abortions anyway.

And that means, 2026 is looking like it will be a year with 200 fewer abortion clinics in our nation.”

He has a fractured vertebrae from the crash but the former mayor is in “good spirits and recovering tremendously,” his spokesperson said.”
