Noah’s Ark in Turkey?

I found this article on ancient -origins.net detailing a discovery that might be Noah’s Ark.

From: ancient -origins.net:

New Evidence Suggests Formation in Turkey Might Really Be Noah’s Ark

In a mountainous area of eastern Turkey, a team of American researchers believes they may have uncovered the remnants of one of history’s most legendary vessels—Noah’s Ark. Working at a mysterious and intriguing site known as the Durupınar Formation, the group was stunned to discover what they describe as a “tunnel” beneath a boat-shaped geological formation that may match the Bible’s description of the vessel that supposedly came to rest after the Great Flood more than 4,300 years ago.

According to the Book of Genesis, Noah’s Ark was a massive wooden ship built to preserve humanity and animal life from a catastrophic global deluge. After 150 days, the Bible says, the ark came to rest “on the mountains of Ararat.” The Durupinar site lies just 18 miles (29 kilometers) south of Mount Ararat itself, Turkey’s highest peak and a location long rumored to be the ark’s final resting place.

Deep Scans Produce Stunning Results

The team, led by independent researcher Andrew Jones from the California-based organization Noah’s Ark Scans, employed ground-penetrating radar (GPR) to investigate the site. The scans reportedly revealed three distinct layers beneath the surface, an important detail that mirrors the biblical description of the ark having lower, second, and third decks.

One of the most significant discoveries to emerge from the GPR study is what appears to be a 43-foot (13-meter) tunnel running through the center of the formation. The scans also detected other open spaces and central and side corridors, which could suggest the presence of compartments or interior rooms.

“We’re not expecting something that’s fully preserved. What’s left is the chemical imprint, pieces of wood and in the ground, the shape of a hall,” Jones explained in a statement published by the Daily Mail Online.

So far, angular structures have been detected as deep as 20 feet (6 meters) below the surface of the ground. According to Jones and his colleagues, this would be a highly unusual feature in a naturally created geological formation.

This is not what you’d expect to see if the site were simply a solid block of rock or the result of random mudflow debris,” Jones said. “But it is exactly what you’d expect to find if this were a man-made boat, consistent with the biblical specifications of Noah’s Ark.”

Supporting their geophysical findings, the team has collected and analyzed soil samples from 22 different locations surrounding the Durupinar formation. Soil scientist William Crabtree, another member of the Noah’s Ark Scans team, noted that samples taken from inside the formation show significantly different characteristics from those collected elsewhere.

Organic matter was found to be double inside the formation compared to the surrounding soil,” Crabtree stated. “If you know soil science—as I am a soil scientist—you will understand that potassium levels, organic matter, and pH can all be affected by the decomposition of organic materials. If this was a wooden vessel and the wood had rotted over time, we would expect to see increased potassium levels, changes in pH, and higher organic content—and that’s exactly what we find.”

Further observations suggest grass growing within the formation differs in color from the vegetation outside it. This is a strong indicator that soil composition beneath the surface is varied or textured. Crabtree also mentioned a tunnel running from the tip of the structure toward its center, which is quite prominent and large. “It is large enough to walk through,” he said.

Skeptics have long maintained that the Durupınar Formation is a natural rock formation, possibly created by mudflows and erosion. The Noah’s Ark Scans team believes the new evidence warrants more extensive investigation. They plan to expand their research with core drilling, additional radar scans, and more soil sampling to record internal and external conditions more thoroughly.

“We want to compare what’s inside the formation to what’s outside,” Jones said. “That could give us a much clearer picture of whether this is truly something man-made.”

Will the Durupinar Mystery Ever Be Solved?

Durupınar has intrigued explorers and researchers since 1948, when heavy rains and seismic activity exposed its unusual boat-like outline. Discovered by a local Kurdish shepherd, the site has drawn both scientific and religious interest for decades.

Until recently, however, no excavation has been officially sanctioned. That is about to change, as Noah’s Ark Scans has announced that they will carry out a controlled excavation in partnership with several Turkish universities. This is a victory for those who are at least open to the idea that the unusual formation may be a petrified Noah’s Ark, as academic institutions have traditionally dismissed the Ark story from Genesis as a myth.

Before breaking ground, the excavation team intends to complete a preservation plan, to make sure the integrity of the archaeological site is preserved regardless of what new studies may reveal.

  1. I probably shouldn’t say this but…..good! I despise big game hunters! Hunting in order to feed yourself and/or your family is one thing – this is just flat out wrong!!!

“I guess this is one of those “Be careful who you fuck with” stories. A North American big game hunter was gored to death by a buffalo he was stalking for a trophy kill after the animal ambushed him in South Africa. Millionaire ranch trader Asher Watkins, 52, was on safari last Sunday with a professional hunter and a tracker, pursuing a 3,000lb bull in thick bushland.

Often dubbed the ‘Black Death’, cape buffalo are known for killing hunters more than lions and rhinos

Without warning, the buffalo – considered Africa‘s most dangerous animal – burst from cover at 35mph and fatally struck Watkins, killing him almost instantly. It’s unclear whether the buffalo was killed or escaped back to its herd. The hunt, organised by Coenraad Vermaak Safaris, was reportedly worth a staggering $10,000 (£7,500).”

  2. “The American Academy of Pediatrics: Selling out your children for profit”

    Zero Hedge, August 7, 2025

The Union Profiting from Childhood Sickness — The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the major professional association of North American pediatricians, has overseen the rising rates of chronic illness and medicating of American children over recent decades. With 67,000 members in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, AAP distinguished itself during Covid-19 for its strident insistence that children’s faces should be covered and they should be injected with modified RNA vaccines, despite knowing from early 2020 that severe Covid-19 was very rare in healthy children.

Funded by sources including Moderna, Merck, Sanofi, GSK, Eli Lilly, and other pharmaceutical companies, the AAP’s members are the cornerstone of the rapidly increasing pediatric pharma market in North America – by far greater than any other region. As a professional organization dedicated to ensuring income for its members, the AAP is like any similar professional association or union and acts in this manner.

The loss of trust in the medical profession since 2020 is fortunately removing the misconception that AAP-like medical societies were primarily altruistic, dedicated to the welfare of others rather than their members. The recent publication of AAP priorities, developed by its membership, should reinforce this loss of trust and so, despite its unusual callousness of approach, serve ultimately to strengthen public health by exposing more clearly the motivations of those profiting from rising illness.

Setting Priorities to Ensure Long-Term Profit

The AAP’s first stated priority is to remove parents from any authority when it comes to decisions on whether to inject their children with various substances produced commercially by its sponsors. While this should be ridiculous, it has some chance of succeeding as the ultimate beneficiaries, apart from pediatricians, are the same pharmaceutical manufacturers who heavily sponsor the election campaigns of most members of the US Congress….”

  3. “The Army retired the Humvee and is replacing it with this Infantry Squad Vehicle”

Not The Bee, Mister Retrops, Aug 6, 2025

Image for article: The Army retired the Humvee and is replacing it with this Infantry Squad Vehicle

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “For over 40 years, the Humvee has been the Army’s go-to armored, troop-transporting vehicle. But according to USA Today, the Army thinks the future of warfare is changing, so while the Humvee has served its purpose, it must go.

‘The Humvee is the quintessential G.I. Joe vehicle,’ said Alex Miller, chief technical adviser to Army leadership for transforming its equipment. ‘It is the quintessential Army vehicle we’ve had in the inventory since 1985. So, 40 years of Humvee. It was good for what it was built for, which was high mobility at the time. It is not good for the fight we think we’re going to be in.’

    So we’re going from these:

    To these:

After watching Ukrainian drones turn Russia’s slow-moving, armored vehicles into death traps, the U.S. military decided it needed to replace our current vehicles with something faster and more versatile for future wars.

Here’s what they came up with as the replacement for the Humvee:

The Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV) has been around for a while, and it certainly looks faster and more maneuverable than a Humvee, but it does seem to be missing something that might be important during a war.A way to stop the bullets!

‘The vehicle isn’t meant to withstand an attack,’ the official said. ‘It’s designed to whisk soldiers within a few miles of the front line and allow them to walk a short distance to the fight.’

It’s also going to have some drones to scout ahead and look for ambushes.

Those are all nice thoughts, until the shooting starts, and then you can’t help but notice, again, there’s no armor!

But don’t worry. If the Army gets drawn into a real shooting war again, they have a plan already in place.

‘We’ll buy something else,’ the official said.

I guess if that happens, and they have to replace the ISVs, at least the generals will have fancy golf carts to take to the course.

  6. “South Park Bashes Trump but Ignored Biden”

    Clandestine, Aug 07, 2025

“I am a diehard South Park fan, and I am in favor of being able to poke fun at celebrities and elected officials…But I find it noteworthy that they just completely ignored the last 4 years of Biden being a vegetable, and are now all-in on bashing Trump all the sudden.

This comes after South Park made fun of the all the anti-vaxxers and “conspiracy theorists” during the pandemic, and all those people turned out to be right about everything…

Then, in 2020, Trey and Matt said they wanted to take a break from politics after getting everything wrong about Trump, Russia, Covid, vaccines, and more. They said they just wanted to get back to being funny, while completely ignoring Biden being a walking joke factory for 4 years, just to fire back up the political episodes as soon as Trump comes back.

If South Park would have made fun of Biden, I wouldn’t have said anything, but they didn’t, so now this Trump-bashing just comes off as politically motivated. South Park prides themselves for, supposedly, going after EVERYONE, but they let Biden and the Dems off the hook for the last 8 years…

As a lifelong South Park fan, it has been disappointing to see this franchise fall off, and it all started around the 2016 election. It’s never been the same. There have been some funny moments, but something changed.”

  7. National Purple Heart Day, August 7:

“On August 7, 1782, in Newburgh, New York, General George Washington, the commander in chief of the Continental Army, creates the “Badge for Military Merit,” a decoration consisting of a purple, heart-shaped piece of silk, edged with a narrow binding of silver, with the word Merit stitched across the face in silver.

(While the Fidelity Medallion was created in 1780 by the Continental Congress and thus preceded the Purple Heart, it was only awarded to three soldiers in that year and was never again bestowed. For this reason, the Badge of Military Merit and later the Purple Heart is considered to be the first U.S. military decoration and is America’s oldest decoration still awarded today.)

The badge was to be presented to soldiers for “any singularly meritorious action” and permitted its wearer to pass guards and sentinels without challenge. The honoree’s name and regiment were also to be inscribed in a “Book of Merit.”

Washington’s “Purple Heart” was awarded to only three known soldiers during the Revolutionary War: Elijah Churchill, William Brown and Daniel Bissell, Jr. The “Book of Merit” was lost, and the decoration was largely forgotten until 1927, when General Charles P. Summerall, the U.S. Army chief of staff, sent an unsuccessful draft bill to Congress to “revive the Badge of Military Merit.”

In 1931, Summerall’s successor, General Douglas MacArthur, took up the cause, hoping to reinstate the medal in time for the bicentennial of George Washington’s birth. On February 22, 1932, Washington’s 200th birthday, the U.S. War Department announced the creation of the “Order of the Purple Heart.”

In addition to aspects of Washington’s original design, the new Purple Heart also displays a bust of Washington and his coat of arms. The Order of the Purple Heart, the oldest American military decoration for military merit, is awarded to members of the U.S. armed forces who have been killed or wounded in action against an enemy. It is also awarded to soldiers who have suffered maltreatment as prisoners of war.”

BREAKING: BLOODBATH: FBI Fires Former Acting Director Brian Driscoll, Senior Officials Involved in Jan 6 Cases, Trump Investigations

…CNN reported on Thursday that former Acting Director Brian Driscoll, Acting Director in charge of the Washington Field Office Steve Jensen, and special agent Walter Giardina have all been fired.

Walter Giardia hunted down Trump Advisor Peter Navarro.

    More FBI firings to come…

Earlier this year it was reported Driscoll refused to hand over the names of the officials involved in January 6 cases and Trump investigations.

According to NBC News, there were more than 2,400 cases in total – and approximately 5,000 FBI employees involved.

The FBI officials who worked on the J6 cases and Trump investigations were identified by a case management system.

NBC News reporter Ken Dilanian said that the list does not include names of the agents, rather, the agents were identified by a number called a “unique employee identifier.”

“The Justice Department, of course, can match the numbers with names on the payroll. But by leaving the names off, the FBI ensure that for now there is not a master list floating around of the names of people who worked on January 6th,” he said.

According to CNN, Brian Driscoll sent the DOJ the names of the FBI officials – but he sent the list through a classified system!

    Good riddance.

  10. I’ve had my legs wrapped all day and just took them off of my left leg – it is 100% normal and the pain is gone. Not sure how long that will last without the cold compress but it’s progress at least. I removed the top part of the wrap on my right leg and my knee is almost normal. I think I’ll leave the bottom wrap on for now, and I’ll decide later whether to leave it on all night. It’s making a big difference! My toes look normal and aren’t swollen and I can flex my foot up and down w/no pain…..my legs are getting stronger, too. But…..my lungs/ribs still hurt when I breath deeply….not sure what exactly that indicates but…..maybe it’s just residual damage from all the years of smoking….🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
