I found this brilliant DIY article on making your own little first aid kit! She uses a 98-cent potholder from Walmart, some small plastic bags and a little sewing!
From: lifeawayfromtheofficechair.com:
My daughter will be working at the local YMCA this summer as a summer camp counselor and has to carry some sort of first aid kit with her in her back pack in case one of her campers gets a boo boo. This gave me a reason to make this really cute first aid kit using only a 98-cent pot holder from Walmart, some snack size baggies and a little sewing machine help.
I was able to whip this project up in less than 15 minutes.
I used six snack size baggies. I laid them on the pot holder, three on each side, letting the bottoms of the baggies cross over each other in the center.
I taped each one down to keep them from sliding and then I used a sewing machine and made one single stitch down the center. Then I folded the pot holder in half and sewed a button on it. I used the loop as a button hole but if your pot holder does not have a loop, then just stitch on a piece of ribbon. (It’s really prettier with the ribbon).
You can decorate these any way you want to. I attempted to use a piece of cut ribbon to make a red cross for first aid but I do not recommend it. Just be creative when making yours.
You can use this same idea for sewing kits, travel jewelry holders, or coupons.

Good morning, Pat and Filly,
I love this little first aid kit!
Very versatile – could make them any size – even use a quilted place mat and larger zip bags – to make a kit for bill paying, letter writing, addresses, stamps, envelopes, etc.
I have a quilted ladies cosmetic kit that I have used for decades that is very similar in construction.
What great and thoughtful gifts these would make.

Let’s review Thom Thillis;
1. In February 2019, Tillis wrote a Washington Post op-ed opposing Trump’s declaration of a national emergency to fund the border wall, arguing it violated the Constitution’s separation of powers. He caved after pressure from his NC voters.
2. Tillis co-sponsored a bipartisan bill in 2018 to protect Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
3. He tried to tank the Hegseth nomination when he worked behind the scenes to oppose the nomination. He encouraged Hegseth’s ex-sister-in-law to provide a sworn statement alleging alcohol abuse and spousal mistreatment, hoping to sway other GOP senators.
4. Tillis delivered a fiery Senate speech condemning Vladimir Putin as a “liar, murderer” and “the greatest threat to democracy in my lifetime,” implicitly rebuking Trump’s take on the conflict and stated he would not to support Trump national security nominees who didn’t back Ukraine.
5. During Trump’s first impeachment in 2020, Tillis voted to acquit, arguing the House case was weak, but he ran campaign ads emphasizing his opposition to removal, distancing himself from Trump’s legal peril.
6. He also supported the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, providing funds for red laws.
7. Now he is standing in the way of confirming Ed Martin.
He must want to lose his seat.

Some of the declarations in the birthright citizenship case are infuriating.
Here is “Liza,” a Russian citizen. So is her husband.
She had a baby in February and when she heard of Pres Trump’s exec order, “my world fell apart,” Liza claimed.
She went on to say that the president’s order “basically says that my child is ‘a nobody.'”
Imagine any other country tolerating this sort of arrogance and entitlement from noncitizens on their soil for a short period of time. “Liza” thinks she is owed all of the rights and privileges US citizens have.Image
“Liza” gets to conceal her name in the lawsuit because she fears “retaliation” from the president.
She then lectures us about the “rights” her baby and others babies are entitled to and brags about her lifelong dedication to “justice.”
Leave, “Liza.” Image
Considering she is a student and they have a baby, hard to imagine they are not receiving lots of government assistance from us. So “Liza” and her husband come here recently, have an anchor baby, receive generous taxpayer benefits–and lectures all of us about their “rights” and blasts the president.

A big reason why the BBB must pass even with its flaws.
In addition to the massive tax hike that will result if the Trump tax cuts from 2017 are allowed to lapse — they were put in place for only 8 years when they were passed — this is the only legislation available where Congress can change policy by statute with 51 votes.
One of the big problems with Continuing Resolutions is that they continue all policies that were put in place the last time the Democrats had both the House and Senate. The passed a Reconciliation bill with 51 votes and loaded it up with a ton of liberal progressive policies. Those remain in place until new legislation changes thing.
The BBB is the only bill the GOP can pass without a Democrat filibuster. It is the one opportunity they will clearly have to shift Govt policy away from the progressive policies put in place by a Dem. Congress and signed by Biden.
It is a “Must Pass” bill even with its flaws.
This is a marathon, not a sprint.

Cops will probably leave in drove if the muslim wins in NYC
article
Veteran law enforcement officials in New York City are raising serious concerns about Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, warning that his past rhetoric against the police and his current proposals could lead to a wave of officer resignations and a sharp decline in public safety.
The socialist candidate recently won the Democratic primary, putting him in a strong position against independent incumbent Mayor Eric Adams and Republican challenger Curtis Sliwa in the upcoming general election. However, not everyone is supportive of a Mamdani-led New York City.
“The city would be totally unsafe for people who live here,” said Scott Munro, president of the NYPD Detectives’ Endowment Association, in a statement to the New York Post. “I go to bed and worry about the phone ringing. I’m worried about my members getting killed. I don’t want to plan any funerals.”
“If you put a guy like him in there, our people are going to get hurt, and nobody’s going to want the job. It’s going to put recruitment back five more steps,” Munro added.
According to the Post, high-ranking NYPD officials are preparing for a potential mass exodus of officers if Mamdani wins the mayoral race.
“I’ve had guys call me and say ‘If he wins, I’m quitting,’” one police source told the outlet. “It’s just weird that New York City would vote for him. I know he’s not here for the police.”
A veteran officer planning to retire soon after nearly two decades on the force voiced frustration with the city’s growing hostility toward police, saying that under Mamdani’s leadership, the situation would worsen.
“This guy thinks the entire NYPD is racist,” the officer said. “I think right now the department is more diverse than it ever was before. I don’t think this guy has even stepped foot in a precinct. He’s completely clueless to what the police department is today. He’s just going off a narrative that if you hate cops you’re going to get elected.”
Mamdani has a history of inflammatory remarks about law enforcement. In 2020, he tweeted: “We don’t need an investigation to know that the NYPD is racist, anti-queer & a major threat to public safety. What we need is to #DefundTheNYPD … NO to fake cuts – defund the police.” He also declared that “queer liberation means defund the police.” More recently, amid his mayoral campaign, he has attempted to moderate his stance, stating that police “have a critical role to play.”
However, many of his current proposals continue to spark concern among law enforcement and public safety advocates. Mamdani has expressed support for a number of concerning policies, including creating a new Department of Community Safety independent of the NYPD, ending cooperation with ICE, decriminalizing drug possession, legalizing sex work, and establishing supervised injection sites. He does not support increasing police hiring, a policy endorsed by most other mayoral candidates.
“He has a weird notion of how policing is, as if it should be people like Mahatma Gandhi walking around, you know, functioning as a social worker. That does not work,” said Curtis Sliwa, GOP nominee and founder of the Guardian Angels.
One longtime NYPD detective also criticized Mamdani as a “hypocrite” for accepting a full-time police security detail during his campaign despite his anti-police platform.
“You have police protecting you, but you don’t want to protect the people of New York City?” the detective told the outlet.

scammers gonna scam
article
The Department of Education is cracking down on “ghost students,” AI scammers and others whom they save have recently swindled of tens-of-millions of dollars recently from the federal government – including roughly $8.4 million alone from California community colleges.
Within California’s system of 116 community colleges, 31% of applications last year – or 1.2 million – were found to be likely fraudulent, according to data from the office of the chancellor for the college system.
What makes the system vulnerable is that anyone who applies is admitted and more students not having to attend class as a result of the increase in remote learning since the COVID-19 pandemic.
The scammers, with the help of stolen identities, bots and artificial intelligence join classes and stay enrolled until they receive their financial aid checks, according to The Los Angeles Times.
“The biggest target for fraud rings tends to be community colleges and lower-cost institutions,” Jason Williams, an official with the Education Department’s Office of Inspector General, said on a recent agency podcast. “This is because their tuition costs are lower than other schools, which increases the student aid award balance for the fraudulent student.”
While prevalent in California, the problem of fake applications is nationwide, with reports of fraud rings in states including Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri and Nevada.
The Education Department reported in May nearly $90 million in disbursements recently to ineligible recipients across the U.S., including thousands of deceased individuals receiving some form of payment.
In Mississippi, a mother and daughter team recruited anyone in the area willing to participate. They then used these identities to apply for student aid, register for classes and collect the checks when the money was disbursed. They were later put in prison after obtaining $2.5 million.
And a father-son team was caught in Arizona after targeting $7.4 million across 300 identities and many schools across the nation. Many of the IDs in this case were stolen, according to the department’s IG office.
Such cases frequently involve what are known as fraud rings. There is often a ringleader who recruits family, friends or anyone willing to participate to give out their personal information, such as a social security number, to create fake accounts.
AI and chatbots are also often used to operate such schemes, according to the Associated Press. And while many fraud rings can be traced to the U.S., some have reportedly been traced to places outside of the country.
The College of Southern Nevada is reportedly facing $7.43 million in debt due to fraud, with many of the “ghost students” reportedly found to be outside the U.S.
In an attempt to stop fraudsters, the Chancellor’s Office for California Community Colleges says it’s doing a “complete redesign”of its application, and officials are considering a nominal, perhaps $10, application fee to cut down on the number of fake applications.
At about the same time, the Education Department has announced that an identity verification process will be put in place this year for students receiving Federal Student Aid.
“As we continue to rehabilitate the student loan portfolio, we must also ensure there are accountability measures at every step of the student aid process,” Education Secretary Linda McMahon said last month. “From start to finish – filling out the FAFSA form to loan repayment – the American taxpayer underwrites federal student aid programs. We are committed to protecting and responsibly investing their hard-earned dollars.”

Good morning, Pat & GA! Big thunder boomers off/on all night – temp is only 69. Never really slept last night, just dozed off & on. Weird times, that’s for sure!
They MUST divest of this partner – period!!!
EXCERPT; “A Chinese company appears to be in charge of hiring workers for Ford’s new battery plant in Michigan, contradicting the company’s statements that it will be an American-owned and operated project, and amplifying concerns from locals about potential national security implications.
The plant has generated significant controversy because of Ford’s partnership with China-based Contemporary Amperex Technology Limited, known as CATL, which closely collaborates with the Chinese military and government. The U.S. Defense Department earlier this year marked CATL as a Chinese Military Company to warn American firms about the risks of doing business.
Despite the security concerns about its partner, Ford has promised that the battery manufacturing facility, which the company says will help it develop a reliable U.S.-based supply of electric vehicle batteries in Marshall, Michigan, would be completely owned and operated by the American firm. The only contribution from CATL, the company has said, will be Ford’s licensing of its proprietary battery technology.
Who is running the show?
At the same time, online job listings on multiple recruiting platforms show that CATL’s American subsidiary—Contemporary Amperex Technology Kentucky (CATK)—has posted job listings for roles at the factory, seemingly contradicting Ford’s assurances and revealing a far more active role in management by the Chinese company.
The concerns about the plant follow previous public backlash in Michigan regarding another battery plant, this one set to be operated by China-based manufacturer Gotion, which has signed a development agreement with a local township for its own facility. Gotion’s ties to the Chinese Communist Party pushed newly elected board members to rescind the deal and allege the Chinese firm had provided inducements to encourage the original approval.
The Ford plant has drawn scrutiny from Republicans in the Michigan legislature who are concerned that the state government failed to properly vet the project and Ford’s partners in the endeavor.
“From the outset of the corrupted ‘deal’ concocted and championed between Governor Whitmer, Ford, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and China-based and Chinese Communist Party-tied (CCP) Contemporary Amperex Technology Limited (CATL) has been fast moving and in secret,” Joseph Cella, former U.S. ambassador to Fiji and Director of the Michigan-China Economic Security Review Group told Just the News.
Allegations no due diligence performed
“In their haste, unconscionably, parties to this ‘deal’ performed no strict scrutiny or due diligence, defying the directives given by our national security and intelligence agencies to state and local governments and American corporations when dealing with China-based companies, jeopardizing our national security and taxpayer dollars,” Cella added.
Cella said the evidence showing CATL’s subsidiary may be hiring directly for the Ford project is just the latest red flag on the project. He said that the deal had “many red flags” from the beginning, including CATL’s designations by the U.S. government and evidence uncovered by Congress that CATL has connections to forced labor in China.
Neither the Ford Motor Company nor CATK responded to requests for comment from Just the News. CATL has said that the Pentagon’s designation is a “mistake” and that it has “never engaged in any military-related business or activities.”….

Just The News: “Contrary to a local media report and claim by a Democratic congresswoman, medical care was provided to a Guatemalan woman detained by immigration authorities – and she was detained because she was wanted in connection to a homicide, the Department of Homeland Security said.
A local news outlet in Nashville reported that Guatemalan national Iris Dayana Monterroso-Lemu, who was illegally living in Lenoir City near Knoxville, miscarried after she was arrested and detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. In response, U.S. Rep. Pramila Jayapal said, “A pregnant woman lost her baby after ICE refused to give her prenatal care. She begged for help and was denied. She was fed food full of cockroaches. She was forced to sleep on the floor. This is absolutely disgusting and we should all be outraged.”
After her arrest in March, Monterroso-Lemu was transferred to different detention facilities in Illinois, Tennessee, Alabama and eventually to the Richwood Correctional Center in Louisiana. The Nashville Banner includes several quotes from Monterroso-Lemu, claiming ICE arrests are being conducted “in a cloak of secrecy.”
Monterroso-Lemu was twice arrested for child abuse/neglect by the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office. She also had an active warrant charging homicide in Guatemala. She illegally entered the U.S. in 2018 under the first Trump administration and was deported to Guatemala on May 9, 2025, DHS said.
The outlet cites Monterroso-Lemu claiming federal officials “didn’t give me medical attention, nowhere, not in Louisiana, not in Alabama,” which DHS says is false. “She received prenatal care, including an ultrasound and OB-GYN visit, dental care, and medication. She was also admitted to a hospital and saw multiple nurses,” DHS said. She also claims she “asked for ultrasound” but was “only tested for blood pressure and urine,” according to the news outlet.
DHS says this claim is also false and that she received “prenatal care including a fetal doppler ultrasound.” The news outlet quotes her claiming she “thought she was having a stroke, but they didn’t give her medical exam.” DHS said that “as soon as she identified the distress on April 29, ICE provided immediate medical assistance.”
The outlet also claims she “begged to go to the hospital, but was told no;” DHS says ICE officers “sent her to a hospital immediately to receive medical care” and has medical records to prove it. The report also states that she claims she was sleeping on the floor at a facility in Alabama, which DHS refuted as false, saying she “had a bed in her cell.”
She is also quoted as saying, “She was starving and not getting the nutrients she needed. Spaghetti had cockroaches.” Everyone detained in ICE facilities “are provided appropriate dietician cleared menus daily, per ICE Performance Based National Detention Standards,” DHS said.
The news outlet also cites her claiming she was mistreated and mocked by guards; DHS says there are no records of any grievance claims filed. DHS says it has documentation to prove she was provided with a range of medical care. The care she received was at no charge to her. It was funded by U.S. taxpayers.
DHS agencies regularly report on the condition of those in detention, including those injured or who die while in federal custody.”

“Bad Sign? Trump Shoots Lightning from His Fingertips While Screaming ‘Unlimited Power!’ After Latest SCOTUS Ruling”
Politics · Jun 28, 2025 · BabylonBee.com
WASHINGTON, D.C. – In what some are taking as perhaps a bad omen, President Trump responded to the SCOTUS ruling on nationwide injunctions by screaming “UNLIMITED POWER!” and shooting lightning from his fingertips.
“That’s probably not good,” said an eyewitness as a cackling Trump scorched an aide with lightning. “It sounded like he said something to the effect of ‘Now, nothing can stop me from controlling the galaxy’. It’s a bit concerning.”
While many conservatives had felt that district courts issuing nationwide injunctions was an unfair check on executive power, they no longer felt so sure after witnessing Trump levitate over the Capitol while launching fireballs from his fists. “Hm, I’m not so sure about this,” said local man Roger Timpson as he watched Trump hurl tanks into the Potomac with his mind. “I’m not sure I like him shouting ‘None can withstand me’ over and over.”
At publishing time, witnesses had wondered if it was a worrisome sign that Trump had disbanded the Senate and declared himself Emperor.

“Mexican Restaurant’s Authenticity Questioned After Experiencing Zero ICE Raids”
Life · Jun 28, 2025 · BabylonBee.com
ATLANTA, GA — Locals have begun questioning the authenticity of purported Mexican restaurant “El Bandido” as ICE has yet to raid the restaurant a single time.
With nearby restaurants being hit by ICE on a near-daily basis, concerns about El Bandido’s genuineness have risen as no waiter, cook, or busboy has been taken into custody.
“It’s a bad look,” said former patron Dan Billings. “How do you claim to serve authentic Mexican cuisine and your kitchen door hasn’t even been broken down by ICE? It just doesn’t add up. I’m taking my business over to Julio’s, they’re getting raided all the time. Just last week, ICE hit ’em right when I was getting my enchiladas. That’s how you know it’s good.”
The owner of El Bandido has defended his restaurant, adamantly maintaining its authenticity. “I’m sure ICE will be here any day, I’ve got so many illegals in the back — just give us time!” stated Mr. Javier Lopez. “Please, you’ve got to believe me, there’s not one green card holder back there. I promise!”
At publishing time, Lopez had begun offering a free enchilada plate for any ICE officer who arrested one of his staff.

“Massive Terrorist Sleeper Cell Discovered In Massachusetts”
U.S. · Jun 27, 2025 · BabylonBee.com
CAMBRIDGE, MA — The Department of Homeland Security announced that a massive terrorist sleeper cell was discovered hiding just outside of Boston, Massachusetts.
Authorities found the large group of infiltrated terrorists after a routine patrol around a well-known university’s infamous quad uncovered dozens of Iranian sleeper cell operatives.
“We’ve never seen anything like it,” FBI spokesman Agent Dale Johnson said. “On the outside, they appeared to be dressed like college students and faculty, but every single one of them was a terrorist or terrorist sympathizer. We have reason to believe that the entire campus is, in fact, a terrorist training site.”
Suspicions mounted after local law enforcement and Homeland Security agents began seeing concerning news stories coming out of one of the nation’s oldest and most respected universities.
“We started to receive calls that groups of so-called ‘students’ were chanting ‘Globalize the intifadah!’ right here on campus, out in the open,” Agent Johnson continued. “Then we started learning that individuals were harassing Jewish students and yelling at white people, and we put things together and discovered this massive cell of terrorist operatives living right here in the United States. It’s the largest sleeper cell bust in history.”
At publishing time, over 15,000 sleeper cell agents had been arrested at the site, with authorities saying they suspected many terrorists trained at the school had already infiltrated corporations and institutions throughout the country.

“In order to determine where Americans have the most red, white and blue pride, WalletHub compared the states across 13 key indicators of patriotism. Our data set ranges from the state’s military enlistees and veterans to the share of adults who voted in the 2024 presidential election to AmeriCorps volunteers per capita.
“The most patriotic states have a lot of residents who serve or have served in the armed forces, high voter turnouts during elections, and a high share of the population volunteering with national or local organizations. Patriotism also isn’t concentrated in any one particular area – the top states are located in vastly different geographic regions.” – Chip Lupo, WalletHub Analyst.
Virginia is 2025’s most patriotic state. For every 100,000 civilians in Virginia, there are over 1,850 active-duty military personnel, the third-most in the country. And for every 1,000 civilians, there are over 103 veterans, the second-most in the country. The rest of the study is here.”

Why alligators and ICE?
The connection between alligators and the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) stems from the new migrant detention facility being built on an abandoned airport in the Florida Everglades, which has been nicknamed “Alligator Alcatraz.” The facility’s remote location is situated in an area surrounded by alligator-infested swampland, serving as both a literal security feature and a theme in government communications and memes.
‘Gators have been used in official DHS statements and social media memes, which are pretty darn funny!
Even better, the DEI Democrat organizations immediately tried (and failed) to make the alligator link politically incorrect. The usual suspects – that is, the radical arm of the environmental movement, Native American groups, and illegal immigrant advocates are now protesting the facility, citing both “ecological harm” and “cultural insensitivity.” I just love to think of these progressives out in the middle of mosquito-infested, nowhere land, in the blazing hot sun, protesting the repurposing of an old airport.
Below are “real” images from the protests happening outside of the facility.
Honestly, the absurdity is beyond funny, and if the DHS branding themselves as alligators is what the Democrats’ plan of attack will be in the 2026 and 2028 election cycles, more power to them! Yeh- this is going to go over like a lead balloon in 2026!”

“I’m not dealing with the threats and I’m not putting on a fucking hijab,” she further raged. “They’re both basically trying to extort me – by insinuating that I need to say I support Palestine or they will drop me from the gig BUT I would much rather drop them and not associate with anything that has cheap group think bullshit attached to it,” Banks’ incredibly based post continues.
“More thinly veiled racism And overt antisemitism from the fucking gays for Hamas,” Banks further claimed, adding “#FUCKPALESTINE” at the end of the post.
And no, I’m not saying fuck actual Palestine. But fuck your dumb ass slogans and performative bullshit. Y’all wanna make a stance so bad but stand for absolutely nothing. As soon as the media says pedophilia is “natural and normal,” you bitches will be right there talking about #PEDOPHILERIGHTS. Like be fucking forreal. That war has been going on in the background for fucking decades. Way before anyone alive today was born And all of a sudden y’all are throwing around words like genocide and Zionist not even knowing the meaning of those words While you drive around in ur teslas and leave comments from your iPhones, all built off the backs and the blood of children working in mines from dusk til dawn There is zero ethical consumption under capitalism. EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED TO EVERYTHING. I’m going to enjoy the rest of my summer and make music It’s time for a new ab record. I don’t need to be on stage stressing out to appease some dumb ass protesters who literally rely on those people in Palestine being crushed so they can solicit donations they DO NOT give to the cause.”

Just The News: “President Trump said that whoever leaked a low-confidence Defense Intelligence Agency report on the U.S. strike on Iranian nuclear facilities “should be prosecuted.”
A leaked report claimed that the U.S. strike only set back Iran’s program by a few months. U.S. officials have said the nuclear sites were destroyed and it would take years for Iran to rebuild them. News outlets like CNN and The New York Times published the findings in the leaked report.
Trump suggested compelling the journalists who publicly reported on the leaked intelligence to reveal their source for national security reasons. “They should be prosecuted,” the president said on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo when asked about finding who was behind the leak.
“We can find out. If they want to, we can find out easily. You go up and tell the reporter, ‘National security, who gave it [to you]?’ You have to do that, and I suspect we’ll be doing things like that,” he added.”

Just The News: “GOP Sens. Thom Tillis of North Carolina announced his retirement after voting against advancing President Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” in the Senate on Saturday evening.
The final vote was 51-49 and the bill ultimately moved forward. Trump attacked Tillis and Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky social media for voting against the measure.
“Thom Tillis has hurt the great people of North Carolina,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Sunday. “Even on the catastrophic flooding, nothing was done to help until I took office. Then a MIRACLE took place! Tillis is a talker and complainer, NOT A DOER!” Trump said Tillis is “even worse than Rand ‘Fauci’ Paul.”
Tillis opposed the bill mainly due to its Medicaid reform provisions. Paul has said the bill doesn’t do enough to reduce federal spending while the tax cut provisions are projected to raise the national debt by about $3 trillion over 10 years.
“In Washington over the last few years, it’s become increasingly evident that leaders who are willing to embrace bipartisanship, compromise, and demonstrate independent thinking are becoming an endangered species,” Tillis said when announcing his retirement from the Senate.”
bipartisanship, compromise = TREASON

“Federal government opens investigation into Minnesota softball team with trans pitcher that won state championship”
Not The Bee, Hamilton Porter, Jun 28, 2025
“Remember this?
Remember how the team inevitably won the girls’ high school softball championship just a few weeks after the news broke that their star pitcher is a boy?
Well, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is now investigating the team for, you know, CHEATING. From KOMO News:
From “they had a stellar season” to “the feds are investigating them” in nothing flat. Times being what they are, you do indeed have to call in the federal government to determine if it’s unfair to have a young man dominate a woman’s sporting league.
With any luck, HHS will be able to make Minnesota great again for girls’ sports.”

“The FDA’s Disastrous War Against Sleep: Why There Isn’t a Cure for Insomnia?”
A Midwestern Doctor, Jun 29, 2025
Story at a Glance:
•Proper sleep is one of the most important things for our health, and when it is disrupted, many severe issues consistently emerge (e.g., heart attacks, psychiatric illnesses, car accidents, fatigue, diabetes, cognitive impairment, or dementia).
•Unfortunately, poor sleep is an epidemic throughout our society. This is in part due to the importance of sleep not being understood (e.g., sleep is essential for learning yet educational programs like medical training sleep deprive students) and in part due to the fact the existing sleeping pills are sedatives which block the brain’s ability to have restorative sleep.
•In 1964, a sleeping medication hit the market that was remarkably effective for a variety of conditions (including insomnia) and hence profoundly improved the health of its recipients.
•Because it threatened so many different drug markets, once it reached America in 1990, the FDA in collusion with the media launched a ten-year take down of it, which in many regards was almost identical to what they did to ivermectin. It was successful, and very few people are even aware that this drug exists or that the many of sleeping disorders we face are easily treatable.
•In this article, we will review the data that illustrates the harms of poor sleep, the common causes of poor sleep, and the most effective treatments we have found for sleeping disorders that are still available to the public.
One of the key themes I’ve tried to illustrate throughout this publication is that chronic illness has vastly increased over the last 150 years. Furthermore, again and again, doctors of each generation who observed each successive wave of that increase noticed that the treatments they learned at the start of their careers were much less effective for treating the patients they saw at the conclusion of their careers.
For example, here recent article, I discussed this collective loss of vitality in more detail, and listed what I believed were the primary culprits (which has been quite a challenge as there are now so many unhealthy things in our environment). In addition to listing the key culprits many are familiar with (e.g., the vaccination program has had a horrific impact on our health), I proposed another primary cause of chronic illness was modern life being highly disruptive to the natural rhythms the body depends upon for self-regulation and self-repair.
I believe this concept is relatively under appreciated within Modern Medicine (Allopathy) because, unlike almost any other medical system in history, our scientific approach to understanding the body does not recognize the concept of an innate “health” of the body, and as such, many Allopathic treatments are based around doing what they can to stabilize (e.g., in the ICU) or alter the body (e.g., through a surgery) and then hoping the body eventually works things out from there. In contrast, most other medical systems focus on what can be done to augment this innate capacity for recovery (health) and trust that through doing so, the present issue will resolve itself.
Note: typically the Allopathic approach (forcing the body to assume the state deemed necessary for the patient) is ideal to utilize for acute conditions, whereas the health-augmenting approach is what gets the best results for chronic conditions (something Allopathic medicine is well-known for struggling with).
At this point, I believe there are three reasons why we utilize the Allopathic model (discussed further here) rather than the health-focused model:….”

Our federal government is one HUGE scam. Scandal after scandal. Whistleblower just contacted me about major scam going on at CMS – Medicare & Medicaid- involving every illegal alien applying for Obamacare being approved because company that fills out the applications makes $1,061 per application- so they cover up the fact that millions of illegals are being processed into Medicare/Medicaid. I just forwarded to President Trump & my friend Dr Oz, head of CMS. I believe every government contractor is a criminal enterprise. Pure evil. All getting filthy rich at expense of U.S. taxpayers.
