Good morning, Pat! Fell asleep early and, of course, was wide awake @ 4 am. I piddled around here and there, organizing, throwing stuff away, looking for stuff my sister moved, etc. and decided one way or another, I AM taking a shower today. I have a walk-in shower with a seat built into one corner and a hand-held shower head so I can sit and do everything except a final rinse. I can leave the door open slightly and have a ceiling fan as well as a heat lamp. I also have a no-slip mat for the floor of the shower.
Super muggy and already 70 at 4 am, which means I won’t be going outside today, that’s for sure!!!
I was looking over my shelving units in the LR and noticed that my souvenir ashtray with the Palas Athena in gold in the center was missing….oh, no! I told her to get all the ashtrays out of the house! For once, I was glad she didn’t actually get it done since the box of ashtrays is still sitting on the fireplace hearth. I just hadn’t gotten around to putting it into the trash bin, thankfully. And there it was! Phew! I did NOT want to lose that! Of course, it was never actually to be used as an ashtray.
EXCERPT: “In May 1941, Congresswoman Edith Nourse Rogers of Massachusetts introduced a bill to create the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC). Spurred on by the attack on Pearl Harbor, Congress passed the bill on May 14, 1942. President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed the bill into law on May 15, and on May 16 Oveta Culp Hobby was sworn in as the first Director of the WAAC.
The WAAC, officially established “for the purpose of making available to the national defense the knowledge, skill, and special training of women of the nation,” would provide women to fill support roles and free up more men for combat duty. The WAAC adopted the symbol of Pallas Athena, the Greek goddess of victory and womanly virtue – wise in peace and in the arts of war.
The WAAC accepted women between the ages of 21 to 45. No one expected women to go into combat, so Basic Training for WAAC recruits was an abbreviated version, consisting primarily of marching drills, military customs and courtesies, map reading, company administration, and supply and mess management.
The first WAAC trainees arrived at Fort Des Moines, Iowa on July 20, 1942, and were met with considerable public interest. The group included 125 enlisted women and 440 officer candidates (40 of whom were African-Americans) for the WAAC Officer Candidate School (OCS). WAACs soon proved to be good Soldiers, and mastered their training with ease…..”
Morning Filly!

Just The News: “Rioters late Saturday stormed an Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in Portland, Oregon, unleashing smoke bombs and firecrackers and injuring several federal officers before order was restored.
The Homeland Security Department decried the violence, vowing to bring every single perpetrator to justice.
“We will NOT be deterred by rioters’ intimidation and threats. ICE immigration enforcement will only ramp up,” the department wrote on its X account. “The violent targeting of law enforcement in Portland, OR by lawless rioters is despicable and its leaders must call for it to end.”
Meanwhile, protesters in Los Angeles caused hours of damage and mayhem before police called an unlawful assembly and imposed a curfew.
Tricia Mclaughlin, the chief spokesperson for Homeland, told Fox News that four officers were injured in Portland in the most serious and intense of the breaches on Saturday.
“Portland rioters are violently targeting federal law enforcement, and we won’t sit idly by and watch these cowards,” McLaughlin said. “Our officers are facing a 413% increase in assaults against them as they put their lives on the line to arrest murderers, rapists, and gang members.” She added: “If you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
ConRon is REALLY working hard at polishing his image for the next Presidential run!!!
Just The News: “Florida is the first state to have law enforcement protect U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. After ICE officers were doxed in California and the lives of officers and their families were threatened, and attacks against ICE increased by 413% in recent weeks, Florida is taking action.
Attorney General James Uthmeier warned potential rioters and doxers that violence and intimidation against ICE and federal agents won’t be tolerated in Florida. “Florida is the anti-riot state, and unlike California, we support law enforcement,” Uthmeier said at a news conference. “Border Patrol and ICE agents enforcing immigration law deserve protection from leftists trying to harm them. If the left doxes these agents, we will have their backs. Whether you make the poor choice to riot or publish an agent’s personal information online to bring harm, you are committing a crime in Florida. We will find you and hold you accountable.”
Doxxing is the publicizing of names, addresses and other information about individuals with the intent to cause them harm. Doxing federal officers is against the law and the Justice Department is prosecuting doxers. ICE is asking members of the public to report doxing by calling, 866-DHS-2-ICE.
“Peaceful protest is part of our democracy and when it’s done right, we will make sure you have a safe environment to do it in,” Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey said. He warned potential rioters, “If you resist lawful orders, you’re going to jail. If you block an intersection or roadway in Brevard County, you are going to jail. If you flee arrest, you’re going to go to jail tired. If you try to mob rule a car in Brevard County, you’re most likely going to get run over. If you spit on us, you’re going to the hospital. If you hit one of us, you’re going to the hospital and jail and most likely get bitten by one of our big, beautiful dogs,” The Center Square reported.
“If you throw a brick, a fire bomb, or point a gun at one of our deputies, we will be notifying your family where to collect your remains at because we will kill you graveyard dead. We’re not going to play. This has got to stop,” he said.
Florida Highway Patrol Colonel Gary Howze also said, “The only sanctuaries in Florida are to protect animals, not criminals. Florida is not a sanctuary state.”
Uthmeier has directed Florida Highway Patrol troopers to partner with federal law enforcement to ensure that if any federal officer in Florida has private information leaked online by a doxer, they will have a direct line of communication with FHP leadership. FHP troopers are also conducting routine welfare checks on federal officers’ residences to ensure their safety and their family’s safety, he said.
In response, ICE said, “We sincerely appreciate our partnerships – including the very strong relationship with Florida law enforcement!” Florida is the first state in the country to be assigned a 287(g) liaison officer by ICE, which provides a direct line of communication between ICE and state and local law enforcement.
Florida leads the U.S. in the number of agencies partnering with the Trump administration through 287(g), a federal program that authorizes ICE to delegate to state and local law enforcement officers the authority to perform specified immigration functions only under ICE’s direction and supervision. Local law enforcement officers can apply to participate in the Jail Enforcement Model (JEM), Task Force Model (TFM) and Warrant Service Officer (WSO) model, The Center Square reported.
Florida is the only state to have every county sheriff’s office (67) participating in at least one 287(g) program; many counties are participating in all three. Florida has the greatest number of police departments (now at 118) that have signed MOAs with ICE, all joining the TFM, according to ICE data as of June 11.
In addition to the Florida Department of Corrections, correctional facilities in Jackson, Miami Dade, Orange, Osceola and Volusia counties are also participating. Florida also has the greatest number of state agencies participating, so far eight, with another pending, in addition to the Florida National Guard and Florida State Guard.
Florida’s the only state to have universities and boards of trustees participating, so far nine, with two more with pending applications. Florida is the only state to have county board of commissioners participating, from Gulf and Pasco counties. Florida is the only state to have airport police departments participating: Melbourne International Airport and Sanford Airport; Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority’s application is pending.
ICE is calling on other states to follow Florida’s lead. Training is free and federal grants are also made available, The Center Square reported.”
Hmmmm…bet this has Chinaman Walz’s knickers in an uproar!!!
Just The News: “The U.S. Department of Education has elevated two Title IX investigations to its “Title IX Special Investigations Team,” which involves both the Education Department and the Department of Justice. The Title IX Special Investigations Team (Title IX SIT) “is comprised of both the Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Justice” and was begun in early April 2025 to “streamline investigations and expedite enforcement,” as stated in a department news release.
The Title IX investigations in question concern the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) and the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL). Both MDE and MSHSL individually face Title IX investigations for allowing males in female sports and facilities, according to the release.
The Department of Education said that the elevation of the investigation “follows a development this past weekend in Minnesota, where a male athlete from Champlin Park High School competing in a girls’ MSHSL softball match dominated the competition, leading Champlin to a state championship.”
The investigation into MSHSL began in February “over its stated intentions to flout federal law and instead follow state policies which allow student-athletes to compete in sports based on their ‘gender identity,’” according to the release. Also, on June 3, the Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights opened a Title IX investigation into MDE “after receiving a complaint alleging that MDE has policies which permit males to participate in female sports and occupy female-only intimate facilities.”
U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon said in the release that “the Trump Administration has a duty to protect women and girls and uphold federal civil rights.” “I am pleased to partner with Attorney General Pam Bondi to elevate the Department’s investigations in Minnesota to the Title IX Special Investigations Team,” McMahons said. “Minnesota’s continued indifference to females’ civil rights is completely unacceptable,” McMahon said.
“We must ensure women and girls are not stripped of their hard-earned accolades or subjected to the danger and indignity of unfair competitions, and we will fight to restore antidiscrimination protections under Title IX to the fullest extent of the law,” McMahon said.
When reached for comment, the Department of Education referred The Center Square to portions of the aforementioned release, a release announcing the creation of Title IX SIT, and a release on its “Title IX Month.” The elevations of the Minnesota Title IX investigations come shortly after the Department of Education’s announcement that the month of June will be recognized as “Title IX Month.”
As The Center Square previously reported, Title IX Month commemorates the 53rd anniversary of the amendment and is meant to highlight and continue the Trump administration’s efforts to protect women.
As stated in the Department of Education’s release, Title IX prohibits “discrimination on the basis of sex in any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.” Neither MDE nor MSHSL responded to The Center Square’s request for comment by the time of publishing.”
Just The News: “President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday discussed the conflict between Iran and Israel over the phone Saturday.
Trump said they both agree the war should end. “He feels, as do I, this war in Israel-Iran should end, to which I explained, his war should also end,” Trump wrote. Trump said on his Truth Social platform that the call lasted approximately an hour. He said, while they discussed Russia and Ukraine, much of the discussion concerned the war in Israel and Iran.
Putin foreign affairs adviser Yuri Ushakov said Putin briefed Trump, according to the Associated Press, on Putin’s discussions with leaders of Israel and Iran. Ushakov told reporters that Putin condemned the military operation against Iran and expressed concerns about the conflict escalating. The situation could, Ushakov said, have “unpredictable consequences for the entire situation in the Middle East.”
Putin also discussed Russia’s willingness to provide mediation efforts and pointed out the steps Russia had taken to find “mutually acceptable agreements” during U.S.-Iran negotiations concerning Iran’s nuclear program.
Trump said in his Truth Social post that Putin had called to wish him a happy birthday.”
Just The News: “Women’s March has canceled its planned “Kick Out the Clowns” protests in Minnesota after the fatal shooting of Democratic state representative Melissa Hortman and her husband. State Senator John Hoffman and his spouse were also shot and wounded.
“In light of the devastating attack that claimed the life of Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband, we are canceling all remaining ‘Kick Out the Clowns’ events in Minnesota as law enforcement continues the search for the suspect,” said Rachel O’Leary Carmona, executive director of Women’s March in a statement.
“Our deepest condolences go out to the families of Rep. Hortman and the other victims, and to the communities who are grieving this horrific act of violence. We are heartbroken and outraged by this targeting of public servants and their loved ones,” she added.
She said the organizations stands “firmly in our commitment to prioritizing the safety of protesters and ensuring that actions nationwide move forward peacefully and with care for our communities.”
“A man in court Wednesday on charges of driving without a license and marijuana possession over one pound was released on his own recognizance with one condition: no driving until he is properly licensed again. Almost immediately though, he was caught in the parking lot, not only driving without a license, but also transporting more than 70 pounds of marijuana and 20 pounds of marijuana extract, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Trooper Michael Provost, who works as the court officer for the Newbury Barracks at Newburyport District Court, knew the 43-year-old Biddeford, Maine, man was in court that day and wouldn’t be legally able to drive home with his Maine license still suspended.
As the day’s court proceedings came to a close, Provost reported seeing him getting into the driver’s seat of a Toyota SUV with a Florida registration in the courthouse parking lot and driving away. Provost, who reportedly was leaving the courthouse in his cruiser at the time, stopped the vehicle and arrested the man for operating a motor vehicle without a license.
Prior to having the vehicle towed, Provost took inventory and soon found two vacuum sealed bags and two duffel bags filled with marijuana, five jars of THC extract, zip lock baggies, a bong, and a large roll of $20 bills secured with a rubber band — all in the passenger compartment, according to police.”
“Today’s SITREP Focuses on Regional and Global Responses to the Israel-Iran Conflict: Three Point Thread”
Michael T. Flynn LTG USA (RET), Jun 15, 2025
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Today’s SITREP focuses on regional and global responses to the Israel-Iran Conflict — Three Point Thread
Post #1
An overnight development: Iranian airspace was officially closed, yet a 747 takes off from Tehran International Airport, then immediately goes dark. Destination unknown. So what? When a corrupt authoritarian tyrannical regime dies, among the first actions is for those leaders and their families who have gotten rich off the backs and persecution of their own people move to their alternative palaces, dachas, or homes.
This plane has a good chance of having a lot of Gucci and convertible currency on board. Assad, can you see us yet?

Today’s SITREP focuses on regional and global responses. The ongoing conflict between Iran & Israel involves direct military strikes, with both sides exchanging missile & drone attacks, causing significant casualties. Regional responses include support from groups like the Houthis in Yemen, while Hezbollah & Gaza have limited involvement.
Globally, the U.S. and U.K. have taken military precautions, and countries like Russia and China focus on diplomacy, with calls for de-escalation from the EU & UN. The situation is complex, with ongoing diplomatic efforts and concerns about regional stability, and opinions vary on responsibility and escalation.
The war between Iran and Israel has seen intense military engagements, with both nations launching strikes against each other. This conflict has drawn varied responses from regional actors and global powers, reflecting a mix of military, diplomatic, and humanitarian concerns.
Israel has targeted Iranian military and nuclear sites, while Iran has retaliated with missile and drone attacks, leading to casualties on both sides. Regional groups like the Houthis in Yemen have supported Iran with missile launches, and there have been minor actions from Gaza, though Hezbollah has not actively joined the fray.
Globally, The U.S. has stated it was not involved in Israel’s strikes but has warned Iran against attacking U.S. assets, with the U.K. deploying additional jets to the region. Russia and China have engaged in diplomatic efforts, while the EU, France, Germany, and others call for de-escalation. The UN condemned the escalation, urging restraint and holding emergency meetings.
The conflict’s complexity is evident, with diplomatic talks like those mediated by Oman being canceled, and concerns about nuclear safety and regional stability persist. The international community remains divided, with varying views on responsibility and the path forward.
Regional and Global Military Responses to the Iran-Israel Conflict vary and the ongoing conflict has caused an array of regional/global military responses, reflecting the geopolitical stakes and the potential for broader escalation.
The conflict has clearly intensified with Israel launching its initial airstrikes back on 13 June. Targets in Iran include military and nuclear facilities, such as Natanz, Esfahan Nuclear Technology Center, Tabriz Airbase, Hamedan Airbase, Amand Missile Base, Bakhtaran missile base, and energy infrastructure such as South Pars, Fajr-e Jam, and Shahran oil depot, as well as the Farda Motors factor. Israel described these actions as aimed at dismantling Iran’s nuclear program and ballistic missile capabilities, reporting a 90% interception rate of Iranian munitions. Iran responded with Operation True Promise III, launching 7 waves of ballistic missile attacks and two waves of drones, causing significant casualties, with at least 13 deaths and 270 wounded in Israel.
The regional landscape shows a mix of direct involvement and limited engagement. For instance, Israel’s military, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), has been proactive, striking 80 targets in Iran, including oil depots and the defense ministry, as part of its campaign to neutralize Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile threats.
Iran’s retaliation has been robust, with missile barrages targeting Israeli cities like Haifa and Tel Aviv, causing residential areas to take direct hits. My assessment at this stage is that the ability for Iran to sustain these type strikes is limited.
The Houthis, aligned with Iran, have launched three drones and one ballistic missile at Israel, coordinating with Iran’s efforts, though Israeli officials were unaware of some attacks from Yemen.
Hezbollah has not participated actively, limiting its response to generic condemnation statements, indicating a cautious approach to avoid direct involvement (at this stage they likely know better).
Two rockets were launched from Gaza, falling near Nir Oz, with no group claiming responsibility, suggesting limited and uncoordinated action (likely loner thugs).

Global powers have responded with a combination of military precautions, diplomatic initiatives, and calls for de-escalation:
1. The U.S. has clarified it was informed but not involved in Israel’s strikes, with President Trump warning Iran against attacking U.S. assets and threatening a full military response if necessary. The U.S. has 2,500 troops in Iraq, and Iraq has asked Iran not to strike U.S. targets there. U.S. officials described the Natanz strikes as “extremely effective” and prioritized protecting U.S. citizens while seeking diplomatic resolution.
2. The U.K. has deployed additional jets to the Middle East following Iran’s threats to target British, French, and U.S. bases, indicating heightened military readiness.
3. Russia, through President Putin, has engaged in diplomatic efforts, holding calls with U.S., Israeli, and Iranian leaders offering to facilitate nuclear talks and supporting Iran’s uranium enrichment while urging diplomatic resolution (sorry Putin, Iran is led by psychotics and can never have a nuclear weapon).
4. China has taken a diplomatic approach, with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi holding a call with Wang Yi, though no specific military response was reported. This reflects China’s focus on maintaining stability through dialogue (Xi, you cannot have your one belt cake and eat it too).
5. Both France and Germany, along with other EU members, have called for de-escalation to avoid all-out war, with France, the U.K., and Germany expressing support for Israel’s right to defend itself against Iran’s nuclear threat (surprising support and a bit lukewarm). Their position highlights a balance between security concerns and diplomatic restraint.
6. Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned Israel’s strikes, describing them as a violation of international law, with Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan urging Iran to reject the use of force. Saudi Arabia fears being drawn into the conflict and has called for international intervention, reflecting concerns about regional stability (trust that the Saudis DO NOT want Iran to have a NUC).
7. The EU, through High Representative Kaja Kallas, has called on both Israel and Iran to show restraint, voicing deep concern over the escalating conflict (keep in mind, the majority of the EU is in favor of the globalist agenda).
8. Cyprus has been involved in back-channel messaging between Iran and Israel, to ensure diplomatic lines of communications remain open.
9. The United Nations pretends to play a central role in addressing the conflict with UN Secretary-General António Guterres condemning the escalation, urging “maximum restraint” and recalling the obligation of Member States to act in accordance with the UN Charter (an anti-American and anti-Israeli agenda). The UN Security Council held an emergency session 13 June, requested by Iran and supported by others, where various positions were aired. Russia condemned Israel’s actions, Pakistan supported Iran’s self-defense, the U.S. accused Iran of attacks, Iran held the U.S. complicit, and Israel defended its strikes as preventative.
10. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi stressed that nuclear sites must never be targeted, offering the IAEA as a neutral platform for dialogue, highlighting concerns about radiological risks (like China, you can’t have your take the money and run cake and eat it too).
Bottom Line: The complexity of the conflict, with a massive and initial number of competing military actions, combined with diplomatic efforts and international calls for restraint, reflect the high stakes to attain regional and global stability. This conflict will continue to be waged until Iran’s ability to wage war against Israel is eliminated. Israel has had enough.”
I love pandas! They are just soooo sweet and lovable and huggable! When they’re babies, of course, but still – they aren’t violent or aggressive animals unless they are frightened.
Yeah. That happened. Last week, I was walking back from the store and saw one of those “Lost Cat” flyers taped to a pole. It had a blurry photo and dramatic phrases like “please help us find Mr. Whiskers” which for some reason made me laugh more than it should have. Maybe it was the Comic Sans. Maybe it was the fact that the cat looked like it hated everyone, including the person who made the flyer. Either way, I got the dumb idea to make one myself. But with a fake dog.
So I went home, opened up Word and made the most ridiculous flyer I could think of. I said the dog’s name was “Chunky.” I described him as “half Pomeranian, half mystery”. I used a random Google image of a scruffy little mutt with giant eyes and his tongue hanging out like he’d just seen something unseeable.
I printed out six copies and taped them around my block. It was just supposed to be funny. I never expected anything to come of it.
Until yesterday evening. I was making dinner when I heard a knock at the door. I opened it, and this guy, probably in his 30s, pretty normal-looking, was standing there holding a leash. On the end of it was a dog.
Not just any dog. Chunky. The exact same scruffy, bug-eyed, tongue-out menace from the flyer. The guy smiled and said: “I think this is your dog. I found him wandering near the park.”
I froze. My brain just… stalled. I had no idea what to say. So I said the dumbest possible thing, which was, “Chunky?!” He nodded like that confirmed it. “Yeah! He came right up to me. I recognized him from the flyer by the laundromat.”
Now, here’s the part where a sane person would explain the situation. Tell the truth. Say: “Actually, this was a joke and that’s not my dog.” Instead, I said “Oh my God, thank you so much.” And took the leash. Now I have a dog.
Or something that resembles a dog. Chunky is… not right. He growled at my toaster. He barked at the fridge for 20 straight minutes and then peed on my welcome mat. He sleeps on his back with all four legs stiff like he’s trying to summon something.
I took him to the vet today, mostly to see if he had a chip. No chip. The vet looked at him for a solid ten seconds and then said “Well. That’s a dog, alright.” No follow-up. Just that.
So now I’m stuck in this weird reality where I made up a dog, and the universe handed him to me like, “Okay, let’s see what you do with this.”
Chunky is currently asleep under my bed. I can hear him snoring from here. I don’t know where he came from. I don’t know who he used to belong to. But I guess he’s mine now.
This whole situation feels like I made a meme and the meme came to life and now lives in my apartment. This is why I shouldn’t be left alone with a printer.
OK, I found exactly what I need on Amazon to help with my instinct to reach for a cig! It’s a fake cig that I can hold just like a real one and draw on and it just draws clean air – no vapor or smoke or anything else. That will help a lot, I think.
been talking to Mom. they’re having shrimp or steak for lunch today. they’re having some sort of activity downstairs today, but she says her legs are sore and she wants to sit it out.
Just The News: “President Donald Trump said on Sunday that the U.S. is not involved in Israel’s attacks on Iran but “it’s possible we could get involved” in the future.
“We’re not involved in it. It’s possible we could get involved. But we are not at this moment involved,” Trump said, according to ABC News. Trump also said that “there’s no deadline” at this time for Iran to come to the table to negotiate a deal related to its nuclear program.
“But they are talking. They’d like to make a deal. They’re talking. They continue to talk,” he said. “Something like this had to happen because I think even from both sides, but something like this had to happen. They want to talk, and they will be talking.”
Negotiations scheduled for Sunday were called off after Israel’s initial attack on Iran. Trump said the attack “may have forced a deal to go quicker, actually.”
Trump also said he would be open to the possibility of Russian President Vladimir Putin serving as a mediator between Iran and Israel during negotiations. “I would be open to it. [Putin] is ready. He called me about it. We had a long talk about it. We talked about this more than his situation. This is something I believe is going to get resolved,” Trump said.”
KTLA – A man who was out protesting against ICE raids in downtown Los Angeles this week spoke with KTLA after an officer’s close-range shot to his groin with a rubber bullet severely bruised one of his testicles… and “shattered” the other. “It sucks to sit down,” the 33-year-old demonstrator, Martin Santoyo, said to start off the interview.
Santoyo, who is now home from the hospital but still in recovery and can’t walk, said the incident happened on Monday in the area of Temple Street, just after he got off his bicycle within the crowd of protesters and law enforcement. He noted that before this happened, he did not hear any officers declaring an “unlawful gathering.”
“I’ve tried to analyze the mindset of these ‘no kings’ people, but I haven’t been able to nail it all down to single, cohesive, intelligible equation. They make statements that make no sense. They make statements that have nothing to do with anything real. They make statements like the one above.
I come to a simple, single conclusion. They’re not trying to make a point to us – the people who didn’t vote for Kamala. They’re only trying to impress like-minded morons. Juss’ sayin’…”
“The Department of Veterans Affairs has projected that the number of living WWII veterans has fallen below 0.5% of the total number of Americans who served in the conflict. The agency’s 2024 projection, based on the 2022 American Community Survey from the Census Bureau, estimates that there are approximately 66,000 WWII veterans still living.
A total of 16.4 million Americans served during the war. More than 400,000 were killed in action or died of other causes during the conflict. The latest number represents a substantial decline from the more than 119,000 veterans of the war the VA estimated were living in 2023.”
Breitbart: “An alleged armed robber was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot by a New Iberia, Louisiana, store clerk Thursday night. KLFY indicated the suspect entered the store around 10:30 p.m. armed with a “cutting instrument” and made his way behind the counter to allegedly commit a robbery.
A struggle ensued and the clerk shot the suspect. KATC noted that officers arrived and found the alleged robber “with at least one gunshot wound.” He was taken to a nearby hospital then airlifted to a second hospital in critical condition.”
Killing their own…..altho this village is most likely not radical enough for Iran!!!
Breitbart: “Iran’s latest missile barrage on Saturday evening struck the Arab Muslim town of Tamra, east of Israel’s port city of Haifa. Israel’s Home Front Command alerted the entire country as missile launches were detected from Iran, and residents of northern Israel descended into bomb shelters as it became clear they were in the line of fire.
Social media lit up with footage of the missiles traveling over northern Israel and Lebanon.
Israel’s Army Radio reported that one person was seriously wounded and a number of others were wounded more lightly. Later, Army Radio added that one woman had been killed and thirteen wounded. (Update: three killed and fourteen lightly wounded.) There were also reports of other impacts in the Haifa area, though these were unconfirmed.
Haifa, and northern Israel generally, has a mixed Arab and Jewish population. It is not uncommon, in conflicts with Hezbollah in Lebanon, for terrorist groups to fire rockets at Israel that end up killing Arabs. Iran fires missiles at night to minimize the risk of missile sites and crews being detected by Israeli aircraft.
While Iran was launching ballistic missiles at Israel, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that Israeli fighters were attacking targets in Tehran. Israel also launched an attack in Yemen on the military leadership of the Houthis. Reports of the results of these attacks were unconfirmed at the time of publication.
Israel’s Army Radio added that elementary and middle schools would be closed for the next week, and that special flights were being arranged in Greece and Cyprus to bring home Israelis who had been stranded abroad since the start of the war, due to the closure of Israel’s main airport, Ben Gurion International.”
The real divide isn’t between people who support Israel and people who support Iran or the Palestinians. The real divide is between those who casually encourage violence, and those who seek to prevent it — between warmongers and peacemakers. Who are the warmongers? They would…
Whatever you think of tariffs, it’s clear that now is the worst possible time for the United States to participate in a military strike on Iran. We can’t afford it. Thousands of Americans would die. We’d lose the war that follows. Nothing would be more destructive to our country.…
DataRepublican (small r) @DataRepublican You aren’t going to like this post, but it needs to be said about Vance Bolter.
At first, I assumed Vance Boelter was just another grifter in the NGO/activist space. He built a fake resume, floated around volunteer gigs, and set up shell organizations for clout. His “Red Lion Group” has no real paper trail. His side business in “security services” looks like a cash grab.
But the more I dug, the more different it looks.
Boelter was a 7/11 manager, but constantly promoted himself as a corporate executive. He claims the title “Dr.” based on a Ed.D. in Leadership. He chased every opportunity to get in front of an audience: volunteering for Governor Walz’s “Workforce Development” initiatives, speaking at conferences, anything to be seen as a leader.
And in videos of him in African churches, you see him light up. He’s performing. He’s preaching vague, positive platitudes to foreign audiences. He wanted to be somebody. He wanted to be followed.
There’s good reason to believe that @JamesHartline is right… he was remodeling that building below into a church. Not to serve Jesus, but as a stage for an audience that would never come.
I think he is a man addicted to attention and status, who tried to get it through a lot of means. And when that attention dried up (possibly whoever cut him off his funding in Congo), he snapped.
I believe Vance Boelter committed violence as a last, desperate attempt to be glorified: under the delusion that killing abortion rights activists would make him a martyr or hero.
This is not Christianity. I watched his sermons. They were designed to provoke emotional applause, not spiritual conviction.
His actions contradict the standard Jesus gave us to recognize false prophets:
“By their fruits you will know them.” – Matthew 7:15–20
Boelter bore no good fruit. Just narcissism, manipulation, and ultimately violence. He wasn’t an evangelical or MAGA. He was a man who couldn’t stand being ordinary.
“How Much Damage Has Mass Vaccination Done to Society? The data that shows the less appreciated and forgotten consequences of vaccination.”
A Midwestern Doctor, Jun 15, 2025
Story at a Glance:
•A long history exists of a wave of severe injuries following new vaccinations being introduced to the market. In most cases, those injuries were swept under the rug to protect the business.
•In many cases, the severe “mysterious” injuries we see now are remarkably similar to those that were observed over a century ago. Unfortunately, a widespread embargo exists on ever allowing this data to come to light (as that would instantly destroy the vaccine program).
•A variety of independent studies (summarized below) have shown that vaccines cause a wide range of chronic illnesses.
•A 1990 book made a strong case that widespread vaccination was also causing an epidemic of widespread brain damage which was both lowering America’s IQ and causing a massive rise in violent crime.
•In this article, we will also review exactly what in that 1990 book and the classic signs that can be used to determine if someone has a vaccine injury (along with the subtle more spiritual ones).
Note: due to the recent ACIP changes (the committee which decides which vaccines you take) and past interest in this article, I revised and updated it.
My mind often overlaps the past present and future onto themselves. Because of this, I will frequently recall events that happened in the past which perfectly mirror what is unfolding before us, and in turn, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve witnessed humanity repeat its same mistakes or can see a slow motion train-wreck ahead on the horizon. During COVID, I realized we were again reenacting the same tragedy humanity had ever experienced since the smallpox vaccine was brought to the market and I had a thought. If people became aware of what had happened before and ended our collective amnesia, perhaps this could at last stop.
As fate would have it, my wish came true, and without knowing me, Steve Kirsch gave me the opportunity to begin introducing that forgotten history to the world. This happened after he chose to publish an article I wrote illustrating how the trucker protests were identical to smallpox protests that had happened more than a century before and then for reasons I still do not understand, encouraged his readers to subscribe to me so I would start writing here. Note: At the time I chose the username “A Midwestern Doctor” (for the smallpox article), I did not put much thought into it as I was never expecting to use it again.
Over the years, I’ve noticed again and again that a vaccine disaster happens which injuries many in a very similar way, it gets swept under the rug (often by officials who are quite conflicted in their decision to do so), and then the same thing happens again a few decades later.
Given that we give dozens of vaccines to each member of society, this raises an obvious question—what is that doing to society?….”
…sigh….I can’t wait until my Amazon delivery gets here tomorrow – my butt and back pillows….and my HEET strips for my neck and shoulders….by the end of the day, they are all knotted up and tight. Man, it sucks to get old!!!
I am adding a short daily prayer to the board. I would invite each of you, if you wish, to also add one or maybe two of your own liking. I do not want to stifle anyone but please limit yourself to one or two religious postings. here’s one I found that I liked.

A struggle ensued and the clerk shot the suspect. KATC noted that officers arrived and found the alleged robber “with at least one gunshot wound.” He was taken to a nearby hospital then airlifted to a second hospital in critical condition.”

@DataRepublican
You aren’t going to like this post, but it needs to be said about Vance Bolter.
There’s good reason to believe that @JamesHartline
is right… he was remodeling that building below into a church.

So, did you see photos of that ttagic plane crash in India?
Full size airliner, flew into a building, and the plane didn”t vaporise, nor did the building.
The building didn’t collapse, and neither did any nearby structures.
things that make you go Hmmm,..?

I am adding a short daily prayer to the board. I would invite each of you, if you wish, to also add one or maybe two of your own liking. I do not want to stifle anyone but please limit yourself to one or two religious postings. here’s one I found that I liked.
