Today’s abandoned mansion is in Pennsylvania, Elkins Park to be exact—Lynnewood Hall. I found this article about this mansion on the Untapped Cities website. (I am presenting the article in two parts. This is part 2)

6. The Ballroom Used to Be a Library

The ballroom of Lynnewood Hall is perhaps the grandest space in the home. Decorated in a Louis XIV style, it’s covered with walnut paneling that is adorned with ornate gold leaf details. And just look at that ceiling! The central mural that hangs above is believed to be from the 17th century and comes from an Italian villa. This room hosted extravagant balls in the time of both Peter’s and his son Joseph’s residency. However, before the raucous costume balls and performances by the Philadelphia Philharmonic Orchestra, this room was much quieter.
It was originally a library. The walls were covered in velvet and there were built-in bookshelves at the four corners of the room. It was converted into a ballroom around 1912. The blocked-off entryway you see in the photo above used to lead out into the conservatory. If you were to walk from there to the second conservatory on the opposite end of the home, you would cover 268 feet, one of the longest residential enfilades in the country.
7. The Lost Bowling Alley & Basement Billiards Room

There were roughly 40 live-in staff members at Lynnewood during the Widener’s time. They slept on the upper floors of the home above the galleries where there were more than 20 bedrooms. They worked down in the basement where you would find the kitchen, bakeries (one for pastries and one for bread), wine cellar, carpentry shop, upholstery shop, coal storage, and more workspaces. Among these spaces though there was once an area reserved for the family, a private bowling alley. When more staff came on and additional housing was needed, the bowling alley was converted into bedrooms, workspaces, and a billiards room for the staff. In the basement today visitors will notice a fireplace mantelpiece that seems quite ornate for servants’ quarters. This was once part of the bowling alley room.
8. The Final Remaining Piece of Original Free Standing Furniture

The only freestanding piece of furniture that is original to the home and still in the home is the organ bench pictured above. After Peter Widener died, the estate went to his only surviving son Joseph. Joseph lived there until his own death in 1943. At that time, the estate was liquidated in an auction covered by outlets like the New York Times and Life magazine. Everything that hadn’t already been donated to the National Gallery in D.C. went to the auction block. The auction drew hundreds of eager bidders and lasted five days. According to Life, the most expensive item purchased was a “tapestry-covered sofa and eight matching chairs that had once belonged to Louis XV.” It sold for $30,000.
It took a while for the hall to find a new owner after the Wideners. “It was a completely different time,” Thome notes, echoing the writings of Widener’s grandson, “People couldn’t keep up these types of homes anymore.” In 1952, a buyer finally came through. The estate was purchased by Faith Theological Seminary, a Christian school led by Carl McIntire. When the Seminary needed funds, it would sell off parts of the mansion, like wood paneling or mantelpieces. This trend would sadly continue with the next owner who came in 1996, Dr. Richard Yoon, leader of the First Korean Church of New York. Over the ensuing decades, Lynnewood Hall started to come apart piece by piece. Now, the Preservatin Society is working to restore the home to its former glory.
9. The Grand Hall is Based on the Entryway of a Vanderbilt Mansion

The Grand Hall at Lynnewood makes a statement. With soaring ceilings over 40 feet high, intricate carvings, and a wide central staircase, it was an entrance befitting the grandeur of the exterior. While the classical exterior design of the home was inspired by Prior Park in Bath, England, this room was inspired by the entryway at The Breakers, the Newport Estate of Cornelius Vanderbilt II. Comparing photos of the two entryways, you can see the similarities. They are both ringed with arched entryways topped by marble accents. There is a central staircase emerging from one of these arched portals in both homes. The Corinthian pilasters are nearly identical and details on the coffered ceiling and moldings are strikingly similar.
What sets these two spaces apart is the floor. Lynnewood Hall has a checkered black and white floor while the floor at The Breakers is all white, but Lynnewood’s floor was also originally all white as well. When Joseph Widener made renovations to the home around 1915, he added the checkered pattern. It was a popular element in French chateaus. Joseph sprinkled many elements of French influence throughout the mansion.
10. You Can Visit Lynnewood Hall

There is a very long road ahead before Lynnewood Hall can be open to the public. However, there is a way you can get inside while simultaneously supporting the Foundation’s preservation efforts. You can do this by joining a Pre-Restoration Hard Hat Tour. Money from these tours will go toward covering the $1,250,000 cost of asbestos remediation. The tours will be scheduled for after remediation is complete in approximately 4 to 5 months.
The Lynnewood Hall Preservation Foundation was formed in 2019 and officially took ownership of the estate on June 30, 2023. In the years leading up to the purchase, board members worked closely with the previous owner to install security cameras on the property, make essential repairs like fixing broken windows and stopping leaks, and start clean-up efforts. The Foundation is currently waiting on the final report from a conditions assessment which will lay out the roadmap for the estate’s restoration journey. “It’s a daunting project,” VanScyoc admitted, “but from our perspective, we always had the faith that it could be.”

Just The News: “The GOP-led House early Thursday morning passed President Trump’s spending bill, following an all-night debate that started at about midnight. The bill passed 215-214.
The spending and multi-trillion-dollar tax-cut measure now goes to the Republican-controlled Senate, where changes are expected.
The passage of the sweeping domestic policy bill is a major victory for President Donald Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson, following weeks of tense negotiations within the House Republican Conference, particularly between the group’s moderate and most conservative members, on such key issues as proposed changes to Medicaid and tax breaks.”

I did an open about it–Jekyl Island. I think it was 6 bankers who got together and wrote their proposal for a central bank–after the central bank was eliminated. they didn’t want separate smaller banks controlling interest rates and have large cash reserves. they called it “federal reserve” to instill confidence and mask that they really were– really wealthy bankers who wanted to remain that way.
they set the interest rates–so they offer smaller rates for deposits versus larger rates for loans AND with their cash reserves they can play the market and cash in on POLICY they set. great job if you can get it.

Red State: “More details have emerged about the Wednesday night shooting outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, DC, that has left two staffers from the Israeli Embassy dead. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) held a press conference a short time ago and revealed that 30-year-old Elias Rodriquez of Chicago, Illinois, had been taken into custody by law enforcement officials on suspicion of carrying out what increasingly looks like a brutal act of anti-semitism.
Chillingly, multiple sources report that Rodriquez was heard chanting, “Free, free Palestine!” while in custody.
And video has emerged that seems to confirm those reports.
As RedState’s Susie Moore reported late Wednesday night, the shootings took place outside the Capital Jewish Museum, which is located near the headquarters of the FBI and is a short distance from Capitol Hill.
One X user who was at the event at the museum heartbreakingly revealed that it was a symposium for young professionals interested in “the humanitarian situation in Israel & Gaza.”
She also confirmed reports that the man and woman killed were, in fact, a couple. Israeli Ambassador Yechiel Leiter revealed at the police press conference that the couple, who served on his staff, were soon to be engaged.
Local DC news outlets are reporting that several Trump administration officials, including Attorney General Pam Bondi, Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino and Acting U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro, are on scene as the investigation into the heinous crime gets underway. Bondi participated in the MPD press conference and reassured the Jewish community that everything possible was being done to ensure their safety.
President Trump weighed in on the situation early Thursday morning with a social media post.

I wouldn’t vote for him, that’s for sure!
Just The News: “First son Donald Trump Jr. on Wednesday responded to speculation that he could be considering his own presidential bid in the near future, despite helping his father recruit and select Vice President JD Vance last year.
The eldest Trump child did not rule out running for president one day, but clearly stated that he was not considering a 2028 presidential bid or running for president “anytime soon.”
The response occurred during an appearance at the Qatar Economic Forum on Wednesday, where he was asked if he would consider running for president in 2028 when President Donald Trump leaves office.
“Here we go – well, oh – oh boy. Well, it’s an honor to be asked,” Trump Jr. said. “The answer is I don’t know. Maybe one day, you know, that calling is there. I’ll always be very active in terms of being a vocal proponent of these things. I think my father has truly changed, you know, the Republican Party, I think it’s the America First Party now, the MAGA party, however you want to look at it.”
Trump Jr. currently helps run the Trump Organization, along with his brother Eric Trump. Eric Trump’s wife Lara Trump served as co-chair of the Republican National Committee in 2024.
The comments come as the Republican Party starts looking at who will lead it after Trump departs the Oval Office in four years. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are considered early contenders for the nomination, but neither has announced any plans to run so far.”

Just The News: “A federal judge in New Jersey on Wednesday slammed the Justice Department for arresting and charging Newark Democratic Mayor Ras Baraka with trespassing over his appearance at a protest earlier this month.
Baraka was taken into custody after he protested outside a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in New Jersey, over its opening. Three Democratic lawmakers were also at the protest, including New Jersey Rep. LaMonica McIver, was later charged for her actions at the event.
The Justice Department’s New Jersey field office announced it was dropping its charge against Baraka last week, when announcing a charge against McIver.
U.S. District Judge Andre Espinosa approved the request to dismiss the charge on Wednesday, stating the arrest was a “worrisome misstep” by the New Jersey U.S. attorney’s office.
“Your role is not to secure convictions at all costs, nor to satisfy public clamor, nor to advance political agendas,” Espinosa told DOJ lawyers, per The Hill. “Your allegiance is to the impartial application of the law, to the pursuit of truth and to the upholding of due process for all.”
DOJ lawyer Stephen Demanovich acknowledged the judge’s remarks, responding that it was the U.S. attorney’s office’s goal “at all times” to uphold justice.
The charge has been dismissed with prejudice, which means Baraka cannot be charged again with trespassing for that specific event. McIver is also expected to appear in court on Wednesday.”

My position is that we can do both. We can pull the mRNA shots and send all the co-conspirators to GITMO. We can also stop global conglomerates from poisoning us, and we can send those co-conspirators to GITMO as well.
Really, we can – President Trump upgraded and expanded GITMO during his first term.

EXCERPT: “Now that Jake Tapper and crew have had their epiphany about the meat puppet that periodically occupied the White House for the previous four years, it’s long past time congress find out who knew what and when about President Joe Biden’s addled mind.
The Republican-led House Oversight and Accountability Committee is preparing to hold hearings into what is shaping up to be the worst cover-up in U.S. presidential history.
Word this week that Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer only underscores the necessity of multiple congressional investigations into who was actually running the White House as the president faded away before our eyes. While questions remain more than four and a half years later about who exactly elected Joe Biden president, one thing is certain: his stand-ins had no constitutional right to run the show.
“I want to know if he was actually the president of the United States. I want to know what actions are invalid. And then, of course, there are the constitutional questions that come into play,” Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., told me this week on The Federalist Radio Hour. “How do we address those things, if we can at all? And how do we make sure this never happens again?” ‘Lights Were On But Nobody Was Home’
Despite the gaslighting from Tapper and his fellow corporate media hacks insisting that they were tricked about Biden’s cognitive decline, Ogles said the former president’s profound senility was evident early on. The congressman noted a disturbing exchange he had with Biden moments before his last State of the Union Address.
Ogles was wearing a white button with Laken Riley’s name on it. The button was the same one that Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene wore as she demanded Biden say the slain young woman’s name. As Biden walked down the aisle of the House chamber, he stopped to perfunctorily greet the Republican. As the two men were shaking hands, Ogles touched the button on his lapel and told Biden, “I want you to look at my button. It’s for Laken Riley. She was killed by an illegal and I need you to do something about it.” The 22-year-old nursing student was found dead on the campus of the University of Georgia in Athens. Her murderer, an illegal immigrant, is now serving a life sentence for his heinous crimes. The Tren de Aragua-linked man ended up in Georgia thanks to a free flight from the Biden administration.
Ogles said he paused, and Biden looked back at him with a blank stare.
“He doesn’t say anything for a moment or two then he kind of raises his hand and shudders and he says, ‘Oh, I like your button.’ He couldn’t process the idea the button has the name of a dead girl on it. He could only process the first part of that statement,” the lawmaker said.
“Very quickly his handlers realized he and I were having a very serious conversation and they whisked him away from me,” Ogles recalled. “It was in that moment, and I’m not trying to be disrespectful, I could see in his eyes [that] the lights were on but nobody was home.” ‘Treason of the Highest Level’
President Donald Trump, Biden’s predecessor and successor and the man the left has billed as a “dictator,” has long considered Biden as an empty vessel of leftist string pullers. In a post on Truth Social, Trump blasted the cover-up, particularly the use of a dementia-ridden commander-in-chief to allow millions of illegal immigrants to invade the United States “TREASON of the Highest Level!!”….”

“Republican strategist Scott Jennings said Wednesday that President Donald Trump had to confront South African president Cyril Ramaphosa over the persecution of white farmers.
Trump ordered staffers to dim the lights as he played a video of Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema leading a crowd in singing a song titled, “Kill the Boer.” Jennings told “The Arena” guest host Pamela Brown Trump’s decision to play the video was “a boss move.”
“Well, look, whether you call it a genocide or not, the facts are white farmers in South Africa have been murdered,” Jennings said. “A lot of people have tried to cover this up. A lot of people in, I think, media in the United States have tried to cover it up. Obviously, the South African government doesn’t want to talk about it, so it was kind of a boss move for Donald Trump to role that television in there today. And I think even the agriculture minister in the Oval Office confirmed that these people are, in fact, being murdered.”
“So my question is, if it’s not a genocide today, how many do we want to let get murdered so that people around here can be satisfied, okay, now it’s a genocide, let’s let a few more, I don’t understand,” Jennings continued. “We‘re talking about 50-something people they were trying to let in, and everybody is losing their mind after we let in 20 million illegal immigrants over the last several years.”
The Episcopal Church announced it would end its cooperation with the United States government in resettling migrants after the Trump administration announced the arrival of the first group of Afrikaner farmers.
“The president is trying to prevent genocide from happening any further to these people” Jennings said. “They are clearly being discriminated against. Some have been murdered. This was an interesting spectacle in the Oval Office today, but it had to happen because I don’t think anybody was telling the truth about it.”
Earlier Wednesday, CNN cut away from the bilateral meeting between Trump and Ramaphosa when the video was played.”

“Ideological Capture at Professional Societies: These associations are using your tax dollars to grow their ranks & spread ideological extremism…”
OpenTheBooks, May 22, 2025
EXCERPT: “Disassembling and “deleting” federal agencies is proving to be a difficult task for the Trump administration, which has been working to slash bureaucratic red tape and federal spending, especially for left-wing radicalism like Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
Unlike some of the intermediate steps President Trump has taken through Executive Order, truly closing an agency will require a 60-person majority in a Senate vote, a tall order with only 53 Republicans in the upper chamber.
But there are still some low-hanging fruits left for the administration to pick. Chiefly, it can end relationships with all professional societies promoting principles of DEI and radical gender ideology.
The federal government contracts with a myriad of these organizations across all the major agencies. Professional societies set the atmosphere and guidelines for practitioners in their fields, and they can have hundreds of thousands of members.
If those organizations become ideologically captured, the impact will be felt across society.
There is no reason for the federal government to fund such organizations. DOGE should identify these organizations and give Congress and taxpayers the information they need to make informed budget decisions. Doing so will allow state and local governments to make better decisions as well.
As DOGE continues the work of identifying bloat, some of those activities and decisions will shift to state and local government where they rightly belong. But elected officials will still be presented with the same outside groups seeking their business. Officials at the state and local level, and taxpayers who fund those entities, have the right to know more about organizations seeking public funds.
The following are just a handful of examples of professional societies that have become ideologically captured:….”

“Today, we are calling on President Biden’s physician and former White House advisors to participate in transcribed interviews so we can begin to uncover the truth,” he added. “In the last Congress, the Biden White House blocked these individuals from providing testimony to the Oversight Committee as part of the effort to cover-up Biden’s declining health. Any continued obstruction will be met with swift and decisive action. The American people demand transparency and accountability now.”

“The Harvard Control Grid: The Hidden Nerve Center of Global Power”
Observing Consciousness, May 22, 2025
EXCERPT: “This post is a follow-up to Wilted Ivy, which elucidated the high-level connections between academia and the Deep State. Now, we see the Control Grid. Why Harvard’s Endowment Board Was Never Just Academic – It Was the Interface for Empire
The Control Interface – Harvard’s True Function
Harvard’s reputation is imploding. But what lies beneath its collapse isn’t merely bad press, or political missteps, or misguided ideology. It’s exposure. Because Harvard was never just a university. It was a control terminal.
For decades, Harvard served as the centralized interface where capital, compliance, and globalist agenda-setting quietly merged. It was the credentialed cockpit of an invisible empire – cloaked in crimson banners and prestige, but wired into the real-world architecture of influence: endowment-backed investments, ideological pipelines, and elite boardrooms that shape the world behind the curtain.
The epicenter of this influence was the Harvard Management Company (HMC) – a legally separate investment engine with a $50+ billion war chest, shielded from public oversight and run by individuals whose ties read like a blueprint of coordinated control.
Think Blackstone. Rothschild. Rockefeller. Goldman. Davos. CFR. Trilateral Commission. Ford Foundation. Asia Society. Bilderberg.
This is not speculation. This is structure.
Harvard’s stewards weren’t merely investors. They were architects of consent. The same people who managed the endowment also advised world governments, funded foreign propaganda, sat on intelligence-adjacent foundations, and chaired elite economic forums. From their seats inside HMC, they funneled resources into the very infrastructure – financial, medical, technological, and ideological – that kept the old system intact.
The collapse we’re witnessing now – the donor flight, the resignations, the endowment sell-offs – isn’t just about public relations. It’s the systemic implosion of a command node.
The Stewards of Power – Harvard’s Endowment Board Unmasked
At the center of Harvard’s control grid lies the Harvard Management Company – a $53 billion investment engine that functioned less like an endowment and more like a high-trust global power node. But its true power wasn’t in the capital alone. It was in who controlled it…..”

The Daily BS: “Jeanine Pirro comes out swinging over water cooler perks in U.S. Attorney’s Office”
“Jeanine Pirro was sworn in as interim U.S. attorney for Washington, D.C., and is already pointing out head-scratching problems with working for the government. The former Fox News host posted a video message on social media where she explained why there is no water in her office water cooler. But, adding insult to injury, Pirro noted that even if the water was available, only those who pay a monthly fee can access it.
“And you may recall that the United States gave something like $44 billion a year through USAID for things like dance classes in Wuhan, China, and Sesame Street in Iraq,” Pirro continued, referring to the disbursements through the United States Agency for International Development.
“But here in the United States, in the United States Attorney’s Office, where we prosecute crime on behalf of the victims, on behalf of the people who are targeted by criminals, the U.S. attorneys, as well as the staff, in order to get water, they have to join a water club and they have to pay,” she explained.
“Today, they asked for our patience. Why? Because we couldn’t get water delivered today,” Pirro said, pointing to signs posted on the office wall.
“Today, there was no water delivered to the United States Attorney’s Office. And remember, it’s only for those who pay $7 a month,” she said. “Now, ain’t it grand to be a part of the government, and I’m just thrilled to be here.”
Pirro, who joined Fox News in 2006, served as the assistant district attorney and district attorney in New York’s Westchester County. She was the first woman to serve as a judge in Westchester County Court. President Donald Trump appointed her to the new role this month, saying in a social media post that she ” is incredibly well qualified for this position, and is considered one of the Top District Attorneys in the History of the State of New York. She is in a class by herself. Congratulations Jeanine!”
Her water cooler post generated plenty of reactions on X:

EXCERPT: “The Trump administration is unrolling a new initiative Thursday that will help prevent noncitizens from voting in U.S. elections, a high-priority policy for the White House.
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is updating the the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program and partnering with the Social Security Administration in order to ensure “a single, reliable source for verifying immigration status and U.S. citizenship,” according to a memo exclusively shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation. Under the update, state and local officials will be able to input Social Security numbers for verification of U.S. citizenship and thereby prevent foreign nationals from voting in American elections.
“For years, states have pleaded for tools to help identify and stop aliens from hijacking our elections,” USCIS Spokesman Matthew Tragesser said in a statement provided to the DCNF.
“Under the leadership of President Trump and Secretary Noem, USCIS is moving quickly to eliminate voter fraud,” Tragesser continued. “We expect further improvements soon and remain committed to restoring trust in American elections.”
SAVE, an online service administered by USCIS, allows various government agencies to verify the immigration status or U.S. naturalization of applicants seeking benefits or licenses.
The new partnership allows government agencies to create cases in SAVE using an applicant’s Social Security number rather than a Department of Homeland Security identifying number, which is not collected by a majority of state and local agencies, according to a separate news release. Additionally, agencies for the first time will be able to submit more than one case at a time, streamlining the process.
Polling indicates that basic voter protection regulations, such as requiring a photo ID to vote and providing proof of citizenship when registering to vote for the first time, are incredibly popular among Americans.
Since returning to the White House, President Donald Trump has prioritized reforms to keep noncitizens out of U.S. elections. The president in March signed Executive Order 14248, Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections, which aims to protect voting systems from fraud, systemic error and foreign influence…..”

“The one-seat majority that voted to pass President Donald Trump’s ‘big, beautiful bill” Thursday would have had additional room to clear the chamber if one House Republican had not been sleeping during the vote.
Garbarino, a moderate New York Republican who has been serving in Congress since 2021, missed the consequential vote after the House had been debating the president’s landmark tax and spending bill overnight. The president’s budget bill passed the House early Thursday morning with just one vote to spare in a vote of 215-214, with House Freedom Caucus chair Andy Harris voting present.
Republican Reps. Warren Davidson of Ohio and Thomas Massie of Kentucky voted against the bill incorporating a major chunk of the president’s legislative agenda, citing concerns about the deficit impact of the bill.
A spokesperson for Garbarino said the centrist Long Island Republican supported Trump’s landmark bill, but “inadvertently” skipped the vote after briefly stepping out of the House chamber.
“After sitting through proceedings all night, the Congressman briefly stepped out and inadvertently missed the vote,” a spokesperson for Garbarino said in a statement obtained by Politico. “He was present throughout the lead-up to the legislation’s consideration and fully intended to support it. This is one of many reasons why governing should happen in the light of day — not in the dead of night.”
Speaker Mike Johnson, who described Garbarino as a “dear friend” in a press conference following the successful vote, was more blunt. The speaker noted that his New York colleague had dozed off in the back of the House chamber during the vote. “Andrew Garbarino did not make it in time,” Johnson said. “He fell asleep in the back. No kidding.”
“I’m going to just strangle him,” Johnson jokingly added.
Republican Arizona Rep. David Schweikert, who serves on the committee tasked with writing the tax portion of the bill, was also recorded as not voting. A spokesperson for Schweikert did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment. Johnson said Schweikert also intended to support the bill, but cast his vote just after the time to vote elapsed.
“It looks like a razor thin margin, 215 to 214 and one present,” Johnson noted. “It was really 217. Will you all [reporters] put a footnote somewhere in history on that thing?”
House lawmakers had gotten little sleep over the past several days as House GOP leadership raced to pass the president’s legislative agenda before their deadline of Memorial Day.”

NF: They call him a “Chicago native” but I could swear I read something last night about him originally being from Sudan…..of course, I can’t find anything that says that today!
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Democrat Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar fled from a Fox News reporter outside of the U.S. Capitol Thursday as she was asked to respond to the tragic shooting that killed two Israeli Embassy staffers.
The alleged gunman, 31-year-old Elias Rodriguez, who appears to be a pro-Palestinian activist, opened fire on a group of four people as they exited the Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., Wednesday, which led to the deaths of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim. Omar refused to react to the shooting when asked to comment by Fox News Capitol Hill producer Dan Scully.
“Congresswoman Omar, can I get your reaction to the shooting that happened in D.C. last night?” Scully asked. “I’m gonna go for now,” Omar said as she walked to a vehicle.
Rodriguez was initially seen “pacing back and forth” outside of the museum and then allegedly opened fire with a handgun on a group of four people. Law enforcement said that he shouted “free Palestine” as they arrested him, indicating that the act was targeted.
Omar is notably one of the most vocal anti-Israel members of Congress and has been supported by the National Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), a nationwide pro-Palestinian activist organization with chapters in elite universities across America. She has accused the U.S. of “backing crimes against humanity” in reference to Israel’s conflict with Hamas, leading Congress to even introduce a resolution in 2021 to censure her.
Hours after avoiding Scully’s question, Omar stated on X that she is “appalled” by the shooting and is holding the victims and their families “in [her] thoughts and prayers.”
“I am appalled by the deadly shooting at the Capital Jewish Museum last night. Holding the victims, their families, and loved ones in my thoughts and prayers. Violence should have no place in our country,” Omar said.
Federal officials and the DC Metro Police Department are working together to investigate the tragic incident. Attorney General Pam Bondi said Thursday that Rodriguez will be “prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law” and expressed her condolences to the victims and their families.
“No parents should have to be called and told that their children were violently murdered leaving a religious event at the Jewish Museum. That should never happen in this world and not in our country and this person will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” Bondi said on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom.”
Yechiel Leiter, Israel’s ambassador to the U.S., told reporters that Lischinsky planned on proposing to Milgram and already had the engagement ring picked out.
President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social calling the shooting “horrible” and stated that “hatred and radicalism” must come to an end.
“These horrible D.C. killings, based obviously on antisemitism, must end, NOW! Hatred and Radicalism have no place in the USA. Condolences to the families of the victims. So sad that such things as this can happen! God Bless You ALL!” Trump said.”

American Wire: “The Army is quickly approaching its second phase of separation with members who claim to experience gender dysphoria. A memo issued by Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll said the first phase of the separation process will be complete by June 6, according to Fox News Digital. The first phase allowed for service members with gender dysphoria, whether diagnosed or not, to voluntarily come forward and separate from the Army.
Soldiers meeting a specific years-of-service threshold are eligible for voluntary separation pay, which is twice the amount they would receive for separating from the Army for other reasons, a spokesperson told Fox Digital.
Separation pay will not be given to members who did not meet the years-of-service requirement, nor if they have “pending administrative actions against them, or are facing Uniform Code of Military Justice code infractions,” Fox reported. However, even those who voluntarily separate but do not qualify for separation pay will reportedly receive some degree of “benefits,” although it’s unclear what those benefits are.
After June 6, the second phase begins, and it won’t be as easy. “There will be means of identifying those who did not want to self-identify,” the spokesperson said.
Members’ sex at birth can be found in soldiers’ records before the new transgender rules took place and will be reimplemented. “Regardless of potential outcome, every service member will be treated with dignity and respect, however this shakes out,” the spokesperson said.
Plenty of X users celebrated the changes for the strength of the U.S. military.”

EXCERPT: “The chairmen of three powerful House committees on Thursday threatened to issue subpoenas after several current and former top officials of the Democrat online fund-raising platform ActBlue declined to testify in a probe into possible foreign and fraudulent political donations, according to correspondence obtained by Just the News.
House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, House Oversight Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., and House Administration Chairman Bryan Steil, R-Wis., revealed in the letters that several of the witnesses initially agreed to voluntary, transcribed interviews, then pulled back through their lawyer earlier this month after President Donald Trump signed an order instructing the Justice Department to probe the platform.
“As we have explained, the Committees are examining allegations that ActBlue, a leading political fundraising organization, allowed bad actors, including foreign actors, to exploit the company’s online platform to make fraudulent political donations,” the chairmen wrote in letters to the witnesses, which were sent to a lawyer representing them, Danny Onorato.
“Fraudulent political donations corrupt American elections could amount to interstate criminal conduct,” the letters also state.
The letters laid out the testimony flip-flops for each of the witnesses, including ActBlue’s former chief revenue officer, Peter Slutsky…..”

Just The News: “The Trump Administration on Thursday revoked Harvard University’s ability to accept international students.
The Department of Homeland Security confirmed on Thursday that Secretary Kristi Noem had ordered the elimination of the school’s Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) certification, Reuters reported.
“This administration is holding Harvard accountable for fostering violence, antisemitism, and coordinating with the Chinese Communist Party on its campus. It is a privilege, not a right, for universities to enroll foreign students and benefit from their higher tuition payments to help pad their multibillion-dollar endowments,” Noem said.
The move comes as the administration feuds with the school over its efforts to combat antisemitism in the wake of the Oct. 7 massacre that kicked off the ongoing Israel-Hamas War.”
