DIY:Easter Craft

I found these adorable wood bead bunnies!  They are so simple to make and are quite versatile!

Materials

1 ½“ wood ball knobs

1 ¼” wood ball knobs

Wooden spoons

1 7/8” wood rings (for napkin rings)

Glass jar with wooden lid

Sharp scissors

Glue gun & glue sticks

Instructions

Step 1: Place a dab of hot glue on the flat bottom of the smaller bead, then glue it to the top of the larger wood bead. This forms the bunny’s head.

Step 2: Cut the wood bow tie piece in half with sharp scissors. Attach the two pieces to the back of the smaller wooden bead. This forms the bunny’s ears.

For Candy Jars: Use hot glue to attach the wooden bunny to the top center of the candy jar lid.

You can leave the bunnies raw wood or paint them. Totally depends on your personal preference, but I couldn’t resist showing you how cute they look painted.

🇺🇸 NEW TASK FORCE TO INVESTIGATE HOMELESSNESS FUNDS FRAUD IN CALIFORNIA

U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli has launched a new criminal task force targeting fraud, waste, and corruption tied to homelessness funding in Southern California.

The move comes amid growing scrutiny over how billions in public funds are being spent—with little reduction in homelessness.

Essayli says the task force will work with federal, state, and local agencies to “hold bad actors accountable.”

He emphasized that the initiative won’t target unhoused people—but those who exploit the crisis for personal gain.

The announcement follows rising frustration over California’s “homeless industrial complex,” with critics alleging misuse of funds by nonprofits and local contractors.

Billions have been poured into the issue in cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco—yet tents remain on sidewalks.

Is this the accountability California needs?

  4. Just The News: “The Social Security Administration (SSA) on Tuesday night announced that it would conduct an “anti-fraud check” next week on all claims made over the telephone.

The announcement comes after the SSA scrapped its plans last month to remove phone options for ID verification, forcing beneficiaries to prove their identity in person, or online instead. The administration wanted to change the policy out of concern that fraudsters could illegally change a recipients’ direct deposit number.

The SSA said the fraud check would take place on Monday, April 14, and all claims that appear suspicious would require the individual to prove their identity in person.

“Beginning on April 14, #SocialSecurity will perform an anti-fraud check on all claims filed over the telephone and flag claims that have fraud risk indicators,” the SSA posted in a thread on X. “Individuals that are flagged would be required to perform in-person ID proofing for the claim to be further processed. Individuals who are not flagged will be able to complete their claim without any in-person requirements.

“We will continue to conduct 100 percent ID proofing for all in-person claims,” the administration continued. “4.5 million telephone claims a year and 70K may be flagged. Telephone remains a viable option to the public.”

The updated policy is expected to help rural beneficiaries who were concerned that they did not have the means to travel to in-person offices, according to The Hill.

  5. Just The News: “The House Natural Resource Committee on Wednesday advanced Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s legislation to codify the renaming of the former Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America, to a floor vote.

The proposal comes after President Donald Trump signed an executive order earlier this year that directed the Interior secretary to take all appropriate steps to rename the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America.

“I am grateful to Chairman [Bruce] Westerman and the House Natural Resources Committee for favorably reporting my Gulf of America Act out of committee,” Greene said in a statement. “The American people are footing the bill to protect and secure the Gulf of America’s maritime waterways for commerce to be conducted. Our U.S. armed forces protect the area from any military threats from foreign countries. It’s our gulf. The rightful name is the Gulf of America and it’s what the entire world should refer to it as.

“Congress has to take the Trump Agenda mandate seriously and that means acting fast to enact it,” she continued. “That’s exactly what this bill does by codifying one of President Trump’s most important executive orders into law …. I urge my colleagues to join me to quickly pass this bill.”

The legislation has been cosponsored by GOP Reps. Claudia Tenney of New York, Mike Collins of Georgia, Randy Weber of Texas, Andy Ogles of Tennessee, and Greg Steube of Florida, among others.”

  6. Just The News: “President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed an unconventional executive order that rolled back the Biden administration’s limits on water pressure in showers and other household appliances.

The order comes after the president has long complained about water pressure in showers, stating in 2020 that there have been times when he has to take longer showers because the water will not come out.

Trump said that he hopes Congress will approve a bill that supports his order, which the White House claimed targets “weak and worthless” showerheads.

“I like to take a nice shower to take care of my beautiful hair,” he said during remarks in the Oval Office. “You have to stand under a shower for fifteen minutes until it gets wet. It comes out drip, drip, drip. It’s ridiculous.”

The White House also claimed that the new order seeks to “Make America’s Showers Great Again.”

  7. Just The News: “House Speaker Mike Johnson on Wednesday appointed GOP New York Rep. Elise Stefanik as chairwoman of the House Republican Leadership for the 119th Congress.

Stefanik will be responsible for helping the House deliver President Donald Trump’s agenda over the next two years, which includes the closely watched budget resolution.

The lawmaker will also serve as a member of the Steering Committee, and will retain her positions as a senior member of the Armed Services committee and the Education and the Workforce Committee.

“I am honored to be appointed Chairwoman of House Republican Leadership to lead House Republicans in implementing President Donald Trump’s mandate from the American people for an America First agenda that includes securing our borders, strengthening our national security, growing our economy, and combating the scourge of antisemitism across our country,” Stefanik said in a statement. “I look forward to the work ahead in enacting President Trump’s historic agenda.”

Stefanik was previously expected to be confirmed as the next U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, but her nomination was pulled to keep the House from losing another conservative lawmaker. It had already lost several to Trump’s new administration.”

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Move over, “Big Balls.” That nickname rightfully belongs to President Donald J. Trump. He’s putting into practice the dictum of one of every real man’s favorite generals, George S. Patton: “Audacity, Audacity, Always Audacity” (to be fair, the pearl-handled butt-kicker may have lifted that bon mot from either Kaiser Wilhelm I or some Frenchman). Trump hasn’t panicked even as his bold plan to remake the economy using tariffs vapor-locked the Dow Jones. In fact, he savagely mocked the Panicans for their drawers-soiling sissiness as the stock market tumbled. And this is a guy with cause to panic – the worst-case scenario for you and me is that our 401(k)s shrink to the size of Robert Reich. If Trump loses, he ends up dead.

Literally. Remember, if a Republican doesn’t win in 2028, the lawfare is back on and squared. His enemies tried to bankrupt him with lawsuits that would’ve been laughed out of the courts had the defendant not been Donald J. Trump. His enemies tried to frame him and throw him in jail for the rest of his life. When that didn’t work, they tried to kill him. Twice. His enemies managed to blow his ear lobe off and murder an innocent man who got in the way. Then the next one tried to do it with a rifle only because he couldn’t come up with the Stinger missile he wanted to get from his Ukrainian buddies.

Talk about high stakes. But Trump doesn’t care. Move over, honey badger. President 47 is in the house, and no Schiffs are given.

It’s not just the tariff stuff where he’s going all in, and he is going all in. Look at his appointments. He put Pete Hegseth in at the Department of Defense. The military-industrial complex had a collective stroke at the thought of a real soldier running things instead of some Raytheon retread who would continue the strategy of decline, defeat, and DEI. Then he put Robert F Kennedy, Jr., in at HHS. This guy rejects everything that the failed pharma/public health collective is about. He couldn’t be more hated if he were a Jewish kid at Columbia. And Kash Patel and Dan Bongino at the FBI? Are you kidding me? The base is happier than J. Edgar Hoover on an Ann Taylor shopping spree.

Who have we ever seen be this aggressive, run these risks? No one, not even the great Ronald Reagan, who freaked out the entire DC establishment by fighting communism instead of submitting to it like the invertebrate serfs the squishes are.

And Trump pulled it off. He got all those people confirmed. He took a whip to the Senate, which probably more than a few senators were into, and beat it into submission. Remember how during the confirmations a few pipsqueaks tried to get some attention by getting uppity? That lasted about five seconds. Trump squashed them like bugs.

When some judge 2,000 miles away from the proper venue demanded the President turn around a couple of planeloads of illegal alien terrorists, Trump dropped them off in El Salvador’s version of Supermax. Muy bueno! When the media howled because some loving father/honor student/future discoverer of the cure for cancer gets hooked up by Tom Holman‘s heroic sanitation engineers, Trump sends out his people to point out that the guy is a gang member, fentanyl dealer, or some other variety of scumbag. He doesn’t hesitate. He doesn’t fall for the scam. The okey-doke no longer works. Hey illegals, Trump doesn’t care where you go, and he doesn’t care who cries about it, but you can’t stay here.

Remember how Fredocons like James Lankford cravenly informed us that there was no way we could shut down the border without agreeing to Democrat dream legislation that would pretty much force the border open forever to every Third World psychopath who wanted to come in and rape, loot, and pillage our glorious country? Trump slammed the door shut in about 30 seconds. Now, it’s harder for an illegal alien to get into America than it is for a white, suburban, conservative CIS-male valedictorian to get into Harvard.

Speaking of communist conformist factories masquerading as universities, Trump has demonstrated the testicular fortitude to choke off their money. That’s all they really care about anyway – most are hedge funds with an attached campus. He’s also going after the money that funds the international left through its network of NGO troublemakers. Goodbye, USAID. Goodbye, diversity grants. Goodbye, funding for Ecuadorian transgender mime troupes. Hello, deregulation, gas leases, and the Gulf of America.

When soft Republicans cried about DOGE doing exactly what Republicans had always promised to do – cut government bulk, bloat, and baloney – he doubled down. He fought every bogus lawsuit the bad guys could bring and set the most fearsome predator the bureaucrats have ever faced upon them – a bunch of ruthless computer nerds with algorithms, attitude, and autism.

Internationally, he stuck with the Israelis and is allowing them to do what they should have done long ago – flush Hamas down the toilet of justice like the reeking floater it is. When the Houthis started playing horsey, he showed them how to play horsey. He mocked them by tweeting out a video of about 100 of them in a Houthi circle of onanism getting a one-way ticket to Virgin City thanks to a 2,000-pound Air Force JDAM – oh, the things you can do when your pilots are channeling Curtis LeMay instead of Ibram X. Kendi!

He told the Europeans they need to get their act together and to defend themselves as well as pay their fair share of NATO. He told that maple-leaf polar parasite to our north that Uncle Sucker was cutting it off. He looked at Greenland and Panama and reminded the world that imperialism is a glorious thing. In a move that scandalized the foreign policy establishment that believes that the purpose of America’s foreign policy establishment is to allow foreigners to disrespect us without consequence, Trump refused to let that Ukrainian dwarf disrespect him in the White House.

He has fired scores of woke generals, pinko prosecutors, crooked cops, and thousands upon thousands of useless bureaucrats. He has refused to obey the regime media message machine and fire allies such as Elon Musk, Mike Waltz, and Pete Hegseth. Sorry Elizabeth Warren, no scalps for you and your tribe.

Every one of these actions was high risk. Every one of these actions could have led to the collapse of support within his party or the approval polls. Trump could have played small ball, but he went big. He could’ve winked at his enemies and made a tacit agreement that if he does nothing and changes nothing, they’ll leave him and his family alone after he leaves office. But he didn’t. He’s gone all in.

So far, it’s paid off. He would’ve killed for his current approval numbers back during his first term. The rest of the Republican Party knows it, and even the softest Uniparty collaborators are afraid to cross him. He keeps piling up win upon win, and we don’t feel no ways tired of all the winning.

But we need to appreciate the risk our President is taking to Make America Great Again. Trump is risking everything. We know because they’ve already tried to kill him, twice, and about half of them think killing him would be a great idea. That means that for President Trump, this is literally a matter of life and death, and the most awesome and inspiring thing is that he just doesn’t care.

OK, “Big Balls,” you need to hand over that nickname. By all rights, it belongs to President Donald J. Trump.”

  9. “Winners are Grinners”

    Devine Online, April 10, 2025

    Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent

“Donald Trump gambled his entire political capital on his shock-and-awe tariff campaign. And after a tumultuous week in the markets, it seems to have paid off.

It took nerves of steel for the president to defy the stock market plunge, the stern newspaper editorials, the increasingly urgent advice of bankers and billionaires, and “people … getting a little bit yippy,” as he put it.

“BE COOL! Everything is going to work out well,” he wrote on Truth Social before slapping a 125 percent tariff on China and resetting the rest of the world to 10 percent while instituting a 90-day pause for negotiating new trade deals with 75-plus countries in bespoke personal fashion.

The genius of Trump’s salesmanship is that it doesn’t matter whether he executed a well-thought-out strategy to isolate China by goading it into calling his bluff or simply snatched a last-minute victory from potential ruin when the bond market went nuts Tuesday night.

A win is a win, and he will make it work to America’s best advantage.

No small thanks is owed to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, the epitome of Trump’s “BE COOL” strategy. The self-possessed Wall Street financier always saw Trump’s end game as negotiating the best possible deals with the dozens of countries who were coming cap in hand to beg for relief all week, and his thoughtful media appearances were a calming antidote to some of the more frenetic performances of other cabinet members. Plus, he never forgot who the boss was.

“We saw the successful negotiating strategy that President Trump implemented a week ago today,” he told reporters outside the West Wing Wednesday afternoon. “It took great courage, great courage, for him to stay the course until this moment.”

You can almost hear the gnashing of teeth of the poor old Democrats.  They can’t believe Trump pulled off his Great Tariff Gambit. They were willing him to fail, no matter how much it hurt the country. They thought they smelled blood, but he had only grown stronger. Now they are all like blubbering George Conway, shedding tears of rage when he realizes resistance is futile. It was all for nothing. They sacrificed their party for the hatred of one man.”

  10. “Donald Trump’s 1987 book “The Art of The Deal” was Wednesday’s mover and shaker on Amazon’s bestseller list at number 4! Not bad for a book that first hit the big time almost four decades ago. What’s the bet that lots of foreign buyers have been frantically looking for tips on trade negotiations during the 90-day reprieve the president has granted them?

Here is some advice from The Donald of yesteryear.

    1.  Stay cool: “The worst thing you can possibly do in a deal is seem desperate to make it. That makes the other guy smell blood, and then you’re dead. The best thing you can do is deal from strength, and leverage is the biggest strength you can have.”

    2. Be real: “You can’t con people, at least not for long. You can create excitement, you can do wonderful promotion and get all kinds of press, and you can throw in a little hyperbole. But if you don’t deliver the goods, people will eventually figure it out.”

    3. It’s going to be tough. “My style of deal-making is quite simple and straightforward. I aim very high, and then I just keep pushing and pushing and pushing to get what I’m after. Sometimes I settle for less than I sought, but in most cases I still end up with what I want. More than anything else, I think that’s what protects the downside.”

  11. Yet another quagmire from history – why are they STILL hiding this???

EXCERPT: “After the April 19, 1995, Oklahoma City bombing, the FBI launched a massive manhunt for a mystery accomplice to Timothy McVeigh known as “John Doe 2”—only to later claim that he never existed, and that McVeigh acted largely alone.

Nearly 30 years later, an attorney in Utah named Jesse Trentadue is still working to unearth the truth through his ongoing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit for surveillance footage of the blast. According to FBI and Secret Service records, the footage shows McVeigh with another unidentified subject.

Since McVeigh’s other known accomplice, Terry Nichols, was confirmed to have been in Kansas on April 19, John Doe 2’s identity remains a subject of debate. Credible researchers have made the case that he may have been an undercover informant, or even an agent.

Trentadue’s nearly 17-year-old FOIA lawsuit hasn’t received much attention over the last decade, largely because it’s been litigated behind closed doors, with gag orders on all parties. That’s because a special master is continuing to investigate stunning allegations that the FBI intimidated an undercover informant involved in the case.

With the OKC bombing anniversary next week, Trentadue recently moved to unseal the deposition he took of the FBI informant—a retired Marine named John Matthews, who allegedly saw McVeigh months before the bombing. However, one of the top officials in the Justice Department, Principal Acting Assistant Attorney General Yaakov Roth, is opposing his motion, according to a letter Trentadue wrote to Attorney General Pam Bondi—a copy of which this reporter obtained.

“Mr. Roth appeared in that case in his official capacity and heads the Department of Justice’s vehement opposition to unsealing Matthews’ deposition,” Trentadue told Bondi in a March 26 letter. “Why is the Department of Justice fighting so hard to prevent the unsealing of that deposition when it is contrary to everything the current administration has publicly stated about exposing and cleaning up the FBI lawlessness?”

The contents of Matthews’s deposition are not publicly known. Trentadue said he wasn’t allowed to comment on the matter due to the court-imposed gag order……”

  12. EXCERPT: “This month could be historic for the future of religious liberty in America as the Supreme Court will be hearing three important cases this month. The first case, which was heard earlier this month, deals with whether a Catholic social service charity in Wisconsin is eligible to receive a tax exemption like other faith-based non-profit organizations.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court had ruled against the charity, stating that exemptions allowing religious organizations to avoid paying Wisconsin’s unemployment tax did not apply to the Catholic charitable organization because its operations to provide help to elderly, low-income, and disabled people were deemed to be secular in nature even though their faith serves as the motivation for providing such services.

During the oral arguments, the justices were seemingly sympathetic towards the charity’s case, and we can be hopeful that they will rule in their favor. An adverse ruling could negatively impact the work of other faith-based service organizations.

The second case concerns the constitutionality of whether or not a Catholic charter school should be allowed to open in Oklahoma. The court is reviewing an Oklahoma Supreme Court decision that overturned a state board’s decision to approve the school’s application submitted by a local archdiocese. The state Supreme Court had ruled that charter schools must be public schools and be secular in nature.

Finally, the third case considers whether Maryland parents with religious objections to curriculum featuring sexual material can withdraw their children from those classes – a classic case of religious conscience.

Three sets of parents sued the Montgomery County Board of Education, alleging their First Amendment and due process rights were violated after it announced the district would no longer allowed opt-outs from or provide parents notice of a language arts curriculum that included the reading and discussion of storybooks featuring LGBT characters.

  13. “Conservatives Aren’t ‘Christian Nationalists,’ They’re Just Homesick For America”

The Federalist, By: Stella Morabito, April 10, 2025

    US flag

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Homesickness is what Americans have been feeling. It’s far from the corporate media’s misuse of the term “Christian nationalism.” “Christian nationalism’ is the bad penny that keeps turning up in media propaganda. Over and over and over again. It’s an obvious trope that often conflates fascism with a very natural love of homeland.

Nationalism is very connected with a sense of identity and the hardwired human need for a sense of belonging. If Americans (as well as other peoples) have more consciously embraced it, I think that’s because many have felt like displaced persons adrift in a sea of wokeness. As I’ll explain below, Americans are merely homesick for the America we once knew as a place where we agreed to strive for liberty and justice for all.

Interestingly, there are signals that the propaganda tropes on nationalism are not an easy sell. For example, socialist writer Harold Meyerson recently made the case that the left should reclaim nationalism as something it actually stands for. He wrote that nationalism is connected with a labor-friendly sense of national identity that appeals to the left’s old constituency, the working class.

And President Donald Trump’s America First agenda is actually provoking unexpected nationalist fervor in Canada, where the indignant class is boycotting American products based on Trump’s tariff policies.

Media Fearmongering about Nationalism Ramped Up with November Election

Nevertheless, accusations persist that Trump and his supporters are promoting “Christian nationalism” supposedly similar to the caricature of a Nazi or “white supremacist” form.

For example, there have been warnings about the supposed “Christian nationalist” plans of Russell Vought, director of the Office of Management and Budget. And how Trump’s “takeover” of the Kennedy Center “has Christian nationalism written all over it.” Several books have been published to regale us of the evils of “white” Christian nationalism, including a recent one that summons activists to harangue family and friends to reject it in favor of woke ideologies.

Clearly, this scaremongering was re-triggered by the 2024 election that sent Trump back to the White House. But American voters were merely reacting to some really bad stuff from the past several years. They only longed to return to the spirit of a God-blessed America. They felt dispossessed and betrayed by those they once trusted to do us no harm.

The lawlessness, pre-dawn armed raids on peaceful protesters, the attacks on free speech, the forced injections, the transing and sexualization of schoolchildren, the insistence that we lie down and take it — all of this was too much to bear. Americans wish to reclaim an identity that is rooted in our national identity and Judeo-Christian values. So they voted to put a stop to the madness. The Trope of Christian Nationalism Accelerated into Absurdity

Yet a great many pundits scratched their heads that people didn’t vote for more insanity. The propaganda press continues to enlist academics to parse the meaning of “nationalism” and to tell us to trash our heritage and traditions. They enlist woke pastors, who were long ago hijacked by the left, to define “Christian” for every American Christian, and to tell them they’re racist and ignorant. Talking heads like Politico’s Heidi Przybyla displayed deep ignorance of our founding documents by telling Americans that our rights don’t come from our creator, but from the government.

The propaganda press kept pointing to absurd “dog whistles” for Christian nationalism. A short list of these supposed symbols of “white Christian nationalism” include the pine tree flag; Little House on the Prairie; the Jerusalem cross; Hawaiian shirts; physical fitness; classic children’s literature; landscape paintings of the countryside; the entire countryside itself; America’s national parks; and Tiki torches. (Sadly, Tiki Brand Products felt forced to issue a disclaimer.)

Enough! Americans Are Homesick for their Country

Homesickness is at the heart of what Americans have been feeling. If there is a resurgence of nationalism along with Judeo-Christian values, I believe it means that for a while Americans became lost and forgot who they were and now wish to return home.

As the late Sir Roger Scruton explained, a sense of nationalism is like the feeling of belonging in a family — where people might have different ideas but are bound together like neighbors with common bonds of loyalty.

So, enough with the propaganda stereotype of Trump voters as skinheads with Hitlerian dreams about “white Christian nationalism” supposedly being installed with his election. Trump voters are generally normal people who simply want to live normal lives in what was once a country that valued common sense.

As our national songs proclaim, America is our “home sweet home,” a beautiful land blessed by God with goodness and brotherhood. Our national anthem declares America the home of the free and the land of the brave. We pray by song that God would guide her “through the night with the light from above.” We pledge to strive for justice and liberty for all in one nation under God.

Christian nationalism, properly interpreted, is about a renewed ache for the profound sense of belonging Americans once had in America, including the longing for Christian values of forgiveness and redemption and real love — all of which are woven into America’s heritage and founding.

We Just Want Our Country Back

This homesickness, by the way, is not the same as nostalgia, which some might call a desire to turn back the clock to the “good old days.” Americans are all about innovation and moving forward and upward, improving and growing, not going backward. The slogan “Make America Great Again” in this light is the aspiration by the dispossessed to return home and rebuild.

There is a growing awareness that we have been, in many ways, a nation in captivity. As Martin Luther King wrote, “the yearning for freedom eventually manifests itself.” People yearn for freedom because we know in our hearts that it is our birthright, and that right is inalienable.

And the American heart yearns for freedom and a return to that shining city on a hill.”

  14. “Trump launches investigation into former officials, accuses one of actual treason”

The Daily BS, by Van Halper

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “President Donald Trump intensified his campaign against former rogue officials from his administration by ordering the Department of Justice to investigate Miles Taylor and Christopher Krebs. Both former officials have had their security clearances revoked as part of the investigations.

Miles Taylor, who served as the deputy chief of staff at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), gained notoriety in 2018 for an anonymous op-ed in The New York Times titled “I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration.” In this piece, he claimed to work from within the administration to “counteract some of Trump’s more extreme impulses.” Taylor later revealed his identity and published a book detailing his experiences.

During a signing ceremony in the Oval Office, Trump labeled Taylor a “traitor” and suggested he was guilty of treason, stating, “You can’t have that happen.” The presidential memorandum not only stripped Taylor of his security clearance but also directed the Justice Department to investigate potential unauthorized dissemination of classified information during his time in office.

In addition to Taylor, Trump ordered an investigation into Christopher Krebs, the former director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). Krebs was dismissed in November 2020 after he publicly asserted that the 2020 election was the “most secure in American history,” contradicting Trump’s claims of widespread voter fraud. Trump referred to Krebs as a “wise guy” and a “disgrace.”

The investigations into Taylor and Krebs have sparked significant backlash from various liberal political figures and civil liberties advocates. Taylor responded to the accusations on social media, stating, “Dissent isn’t unlawful. It certainly isn’t treasonous. America is headed down a dark path.” Krebs has yet to publicly comment on the latest developments but has previously defended his actions during his tenure at CISA.

Trump’s directive to investigate former officials is part of a broader pattern of holding accountable the bad actors who got away with undermining the administration and trying to do harm to the office with impunity in the past. In recent months, he has revoked security clearances for several high-profile figures, including Dr. Anthony Fauci and former Defense Secretary Mark Esper.”

  15. These rogue judges are NOT giving up, in spite of the recent SCOTUS rulings!!!

    The Daily BS, Van Halpert

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Two federal judges in Texas and New York have temporarily blocked the Trump administration’s efforts to deport Venezuelan nationals under the Alien Enemies Act. This decision follows a recent Supreme Court ruling that allowed deportations but cautioned the need for due process, particularly for individuals accused of gang affiliations.

On April 9, 2025, U.S. District Judge Fernando Rodriguez Jr. in Texas and Judge Alvin Hellerstein in New York issued rulings that prevent the deportation of Venezuelan nationals without proper legal proceedings. Rodriguez granted a temporary restraining order for three Venezuelan nationals held at the El Valle Detention Center, stating that their removal would likely cause “immediate and irreparable injury.”

Hellerstein ruled that individuals in the Southern District of New York must be given notice and an opportunity to contest their deportation before any action is taken.

The Supreme Court’s recent decision mandates that individuals slated for deportation must be informed and allowed to contest their status in court.

The ACLU and other civil rights organizations have raised alarms about the conditions in El Salvador’s CECOT prison, where deported individuals may face harsh treatment and lack of legal recourse.

Both judges have scheduled hearings to further evaluate the cases of the detained Venezuelans. The Texas ruling is set to be reviewed on April 23, while the New York case will be addressed on April 22. These hearings will determine whether the temporary restraining orders will be extended or modified.

The Alien Enemies Act, enacted in 1798, allows the government to detain and deport noncitizens during wartime or in cases of invasion. Historically, it has been used sparingly, primarily during World War II. Recently, the Trump administration invoked this act to remove dangerous alleged members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, who pose a threat to national security.”

  16. American Wire News: “A Texas judge ordered that the man who allegedly threatened U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem will remain behind bars.

In a hearing in Dallas on Wednesday, U.S. Magistrate Judge Renee Toliver ordered that Robert King, 35, should remain in Kaufman County detention as he was deemed a flight risk and a risk to the community, Fox News reported. King was charged in federal court on Monday with transmitting interstate threats in his alleged online posts threatening to kill ICE agents and harm Noem, as well as other violent posts about Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and even President Donald Trump.

    (Video Credit: Fox 4)

King allegedly posted, “If I see ICE agents in my neighborhood I’m opening fire. It’s time to stop being p****** and put the second amendment to work. ICE are not real cops, they are a secret police force with no real legal authority. Kill them.”

“I truly hope, and I mean this with all my heart, that Kristi Noem meets a horrible and agonizing demise,” he allegedly wrote in another post. “I hope she is tried in a war criminal court with the rest of the Nazis when this is all over and I hope she is ripped apart in a gulag. Nothing less for a Nazi scum. This is America now a Nazi fascist state. Disgusting.”

He later reportedly posted on a different platform that he wanted to “double down” on his threat to shoot and kill ICE agents.

King was reportedly upset by the judge’s ruling Wednesday “and was seen crying as he left the courtroom,” according to Fox News which noted that his attorney had argued “that he had no prior charges, no weapons and had been seeking treatment for mental health issues, including depression and suicidal thoughts.”

“King was also living with his sister and brother-in-law, who is currently a police officer and a former Customs and Border Protection agent, when he allegedly made the threats, which resulted in him being thrown out of the house,” the outlet reported.”

We’ve gotten so addicted to cheap shit from there – shit that doesn’t last anyway and ends up in the shit can in six months. We gotta learn to not need it and fuck ’em.”

  21. Yeah – never did think they brought it back with them, didja? Anyway, NASA is offering $3 million to anyone who can invent a way to “recycle” dozens of bags of poop astronauts left on the moon more than half a century ago.

The space agency wants to come up with a way to transform 96 sacks of feces, urine and vomit — ditched by Apollo astronauts to lighten their load — into water, energy, and fertilizer, it said. The so-called “LunaRecycle Challenge” urges scientists and innovators to solve the crappy problem and kickstart a “biological legacy” in time for its upcoming moon mission.

The competition’s deadline  was March 31 and NASA is now getting ready to pore through the pitches.”

  22. Just The News: “The House of Representatives passed the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act on Thursday, which would require documentary proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote for federal elections.

The final vote was 220-208, with one Democrat absent due to medical issues. Four Democrats voted with all the Republicans in support of the bill. Four Republicans didn’t vote.

While non-citizens are prohibited from voting in federal, state, and most local elections, municipalities in California, Maryland and Vermont, and Washington, D.C., allow non-citizens to vote in local elections.

The SAVE Act would amend the 1993 National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) – also called the “motor voter” law – to make states require documentation of a person’s U.S. citizenship before registering to vote in federal elections and to ensure that states remove non-citizens from their voter rolls.”

  23. ‘A war declared against free Poles!’ — Conservatives rage as Warsaw court revokes licenses of conservative TV channels: Conservatives accuse Donald Tusk’s government and the Polish judiciary of silencing dissent ahead of next month’s pivotal presidential election”

ReMix, Thomas Brooke, April 10, 2025

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Polish conservative leaders have claimed that a “war has been declared against all free Poles,” after the Provincial Administrative Court in Warsaw revoked the broadcasting licenses of two major right-wing television stations, TV Republika and Telewizja wPolsce24.

The judicial decision has ignited accusations from the opposition, who claim it is a politically motivated assault on free speech orchestrated by Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s government and a politicized judiciary.

Zbigniew Ziobro, former justice minister and leading figure in the Law and Justice (PiS) party, called the ruling an “appalling verdict” and accused the judiciary of transforming into political agents in robes. “There is no doubt this is a political decision, a judge dressed up as a politician delivering a verdict according to the will of Donald Tusk, who has always aimed to liquidate the media,” he stated during a live broadcast on wPolsce24.

Ziobro warned that this decision represents more than just a legal setback for conservative media — it is part of a wider campaign to stifle opposition voices and cement government control over public discourse. “They want to shut the mouths of the media critical of this government and liquidate honest, democratic debate in Poland,” he declared. “This is the oxygen of democracy they are trying to suffocate.”

The ruling overturned the earlier decision by the National Broadcasting Council to grant the channels their licenses — both of which had enjoyed a considerable upturn in viewership after the Polish government’s overhaul of state broadcaster TVP earlier in its tenure.

Piotr Andrzejewski, deputy chairman of the State Tribunal, slammed the court’s actions as an abuse of power. “Judicial activism does not allow supplementing the law with content not contained within it,” he noted.

Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki also lashed out at the ruling, claiming it signals the end of genuine democracy in Poland. “Today, this dictatorial power — this system in which we live — is not democracy. It is a facade,” Morawiecki warned, urging voters to rally in defense of free media ahead of the crucial presidential elections, the first round of which will be held on May 18.

Jacek Kurski, former head of public broadcaster TVP, described the day as “a black day for Polish democracy” and alleged an ongoing pattern of lawbreaking by the government. “Every day, there is some kind of spitting in the face,” he said, cautioning that authorities might attempt to rig the upcoming vote.

With President Andrzej Duda stepping down, the presidential election is set to be a defining moment. Current frontrunner Rafał Trzaskowski, Warsaw’s mayor and close ally of Donald Tusk, leads the field with 41.9 percent, ahead of PiS candidate Karol Nawrocki (22 percent) and Confederation’s Sławomir Mentzen (20.5 percent).

Run-off projections show that Trzaskowski is predicted to win comfortably in either scenario, defeating Nawrocki by 63 to 37 percent, or Mentzen by 58 to 42 percent.

However, perceived attempts by the government to seize control of the media could lead to ruffle the feathers of the electorate, and conservatives are warning that the assault on independent media is part of a broader power grab by Tusk’s government. “We are dealing with people for whom democracy is just a word they use. In fact, these are people who think about absolute power,” Ziobro added.”

If you’re stunned by some of the waste, fraud and abuse that Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have been uncovering in the federal government, you’re not alone. Yep, turns out your taxpayer dollars were funding things like drag shows in Ecuador, atheism in Nepal, condoms for the Taliban, and transgender comic books in Peru.

But the grift isn’t just going on at the federal level, at least according to California officials, who are suing a Long Beach nonprofit food bank for allegedly misappropriating millions in funding to support the lavish lifestyles of its leaders.

Turns out the do-gooders were in it for themselves, according to the state:

The state has filed a lawsuit against the Foodbank of Southern California alleging that its leaders misappropriated more than $11 million in state funds to enrich themselves and their families over the course of a decade.

For years, the food bank operated as a grocery-and-meal distribution hub serving hundreds of food pantries in Long Beach and South Los Angeles thanks to millions of dollars in funding from the Department of Social Services.

But the state’s lawsuit, filed March 25, alleges that board members used the money on trips to Las Vegas, a home renovation, cellphones, smart watches, Christmas decor, a truck, for-profit business ventures and more.

BREAKING: Foodbank of Southern California leaders spent millions on cars, Vegas trips, home renovations, lawsuit says.

Some of the expenses are mind-blowing:

In the lawsuit, the Department of Social Services alleged that [former CEO Jeanne] Cooper and [spouse Lamarr] Ramsey used the nonprofit’s funds to pay for a myriad of personal expenses, including home renovations, lawn services, and an artificial Christmas tree. Investigators said they used the nonprofit’s corporate accounts and credit cards to spend $228,000 at Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Office Depot, and AT&T.

Additionally, Cooper sent almost $4,800 to her sister-in-law for unspecified “transportation” expenses, nearly $7,000 to her spouse for repairs that were never made at the food bank and a little more than $2,650 to Ramsey’s company to decorate two of the business’s trucks, according to the complaint. The food bank also gifted Ramsey a $10,000 box truck, at Cooper’s direction or authorization, according to state attorneys.

There was plenty more. Ten current or former board members and two of their family members are named in the suit. One of them is a community figure known as “Sweet Alice,” who founded the Parents of Watts nonprofit to help disadvantaged youths—yet she’s accused of funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars from the foodbank to her organization and hiring her relatives.

Dr. Sweet Alice Harris is at it again. Giving out hundreds of bikes at the annual Christmas bike and gift giveaway for local kids. Happening today at 1673 E. Imperial Hwy., Los Angeles (Watts) 9am to approx 12pm. @NBCLA #ParentsofWatts pic.twitter.com/teMOjnZvxM

While food banks serve the disadvantaged as well as the homeless, homelessness has exploded in the Golden State, and there are estimated to be over 187,000 people sleeping on the streets every night.

Billions upon billions have been thrown at the problem, yet it continues unabated. Many have long argued that for some greedy fraudsters, homelessness is extremely profitable and that there’s a “homeless-industrial complex” that isn’t actually interested in solving the issue.

If the allegations in this lawsuit are true, it sure looks like these folks were having a grand old time with our hard-earned taxpayer dollars.

Trump is figuratively blowing up the entire legal complex that went after Tina Peters. He’s not even going to touch Colorado, it appears. He’s just destroying everything around them.

Once DOJ has the goods on Dominion, Tina Peters will be a HERO.

Also, this. Trump is smart. He knows the “good lawyer’s truths” – don’t ask questions you don’t already know the answers to – don’t go after things you don’t already know are there.

IMO he knows that this law firm basically orchestrated the suppression of the truths about Dominion gaming elections, that Tina Peters was exposing. DOJ likely already has the goods they need to put people in prison.

It’s happening. Help is on the way. Prayers for Tina Peters are being answered!

  26. “Tulsi Drops Subtle Bombshell!”

    Clandestine, Apr 10, 2025

    🔥MUST WATCH🔥

“DNI Gabbard dropped some subtle bombshells on Hannity last night. She says that ACCOUNTABILITY for political weaponization of the intelligence community is the objective of the DIG task force.

She says we have seen plenty of evidence that our intelligence agencies were weaponized against President Trump, but that they are looking for documents that show proof of “INTENT” that would be required for US Attorneys to build cases, and she even says that there might already be cases being worked on.

Tulsi just revealed that they are building cases against elements within the intelligence community for political weaponization, specifically the Russian collusion hoax, also known as TREASON!

Tulsi’s usage of the language “intent” is VERY important, and proves Tulsi and her team are not just looking to declassify some documents, they are looking to find evidence the DOJ can use to PROSECUTE! This is HUGE!”

Tulsi Gabbard told President Trump she has evidence that electronic voting machines, like the ones being used for elections—Dominion and Smartmatic—were vulnerable to altering the outcomes of elections. According to Gabbard, the only reliable solution moving forward is a full return to paper ballots. They have it all.
