Since April Fool’s Day is coming up and I thought you might want to try this, I present an April Fool’s Cake. (I didn’t even know this existed…lol)

Ingredients
1 jar (14 ounces) pizza sauce
1/2 pound bulk Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
1 package (8 ounces) sliced pepperoni
3 cups biscuit/baking mix
3/4 cup whole milk
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon garlic salt
5 to 6 slices mozzarella cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°. In a bowl, combine the pizza sauce, sausage and pepperoni; set aside. In another bowl, combine the biscuit mix, milk, eggs, butter and garlic salt. Spread half of the batter on the bottom and up the sides of a greased 10-in. fluted tube pan. Spoon meat mixture over batter; cover with remaining batter.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until browned and a toothpick comes out clean. Invert onto a baking sheet. Arrange cheese over cake. Return to the oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Using two large metal spatulas, transfer cake to a serving platter; serve immediately.
Enjoy!
I had no idea about this cake either

Enjoy prison Aubrey!
I’ve been watching you!
Go Trump go! This is what counts. The person who hides behind anonymous accounts. (And @elonmusk I told you so.)
AUSTIN, Texas – The Department of Justice announced the unsealing of charges against Canadian national Aubrey Cottle, 37, of Oshawa, Ontario, in connection with the theft of data relating to the Texas Republican Party in 2021.
Canadian authorities arrested Cottle on Wednesday and are pursuing charges under Canadian law. A criminal complaint filed in the Western District of Texas alleges Cottle gained unauthorized access to a third-party hosting company’s computer system to deface and download a backup of Texas Republican Party’s web server, which contained personal identifying information.
The information was distributed and made available for download online.
Cottle allegedly claimed responsibility for the attack on social media.
A search of Cottle’s electronic devices revealed he was in possession of the data stolen from the Texas Republican Party. Cottle has been charged with unlawfully transferring, possessing, or using a means of identification with the intent to commit, or aid or abet, or in connection with, unlawful activity under state or federal law. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
Acting U.S. Attorney Margaret Leachman for the Western District of Texas made the announcement. The FBI Austin Cyber Task Force is investigating the case, with valuable assistance from the Ontario Provincial Police and the Durham Regional Police Service.

Maybe the better way is to deprive the Circuits of jurisdiction over nationwide injunctions UNLESS they take them en banc.
That forces the Circuits to discipline the district judges because of the toll it would exact on the Circuits.

@ProfMJCleveland
“Potential” brainstorm: Just remembered while SCOTUS now has near complete discretion over appeals it takes, previously some had to be heard. So, statute requiring SCOTUS to hear expedited appeal in any case w/ nationwide injunction entered against federal government. Solution?

A curiosity about the DC District Court’s judges
By John M. Contino
As Beth Brelje recently reported in The Federalist,
The recently infamous James Boasberg, chief judge of the D.C. District Court, is one of the 15 principal judges on that court. There are an additional 10 older, senior judges who occasionally hear cases, all of whom were born in the U.S.
This seeding of foreign-born judges to the D.C. court is another “transformational innovation” that can be traced back to Barack Obama, who in 2014 appointed Judge Tanya Sue Churkan, born in Kingston, Jamaica. “Before sitting on federal court, she had no experience as a judge. Chutkan is overseeing the legal challenge to DOGE’s work to slash excess government spending.”
Joe Biden picked up where Obama left off when he nominated Judge Ana Cecilia Reyes, born in Montevideo, Uruguay, yet another appointee with no prior experience as a judge.
Judge Amir Hatem Mahdy Ali was born in Canada to Egyptian parents. Educated in Canada, he earned a law degree from Harvard Law School in 2011 and became a citizen in 2019. Ali worked for the Biden campaign and nonprofits “but never served as a judge until Biden appointed him in 2024.”
Before slipping out the back door, Biden (or his autopen?) got Judge Sparkle Sooknanan confirmed on Jan. 2, 2025. She was born in Trinidad and Tobago in 1983, came to the U.S. in 1999, and earned a law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2010.
There’s nothing inherently wrong with appointing a foreign-born judge, but someone not born and raised in the U.S. may have less regard for traditional American values than a native-born individual. In any case, it’s obvious that these five judges were chosen for their ideological purity, certainly not their wealth of experience and reputations as actual judges.
There’s a lot riding on how Chief Justice Roberts will act, or fail to act, in the coming months — not only for his legacy, but for the integrity of the constitutional republic in which we are reputed to reside. Let’s hope he “gets his mind right,” so to speak.

Just The News: “An appeals court on Sunday denied Attorney General Wisconsin Democratic Attorney General Josh Kaul’s effort to stop Elon Musk’s $1 million payments to two voters.
Musk has planned a town hall for Sunday night in Green Bay and he is expected to award $1 million payments to two voters.”
EXCERPT: “….Musk announced on Friday morning that he would travel to Wisconsin for an event limited to those who had already voted in the election and that he would “personally hand over two checks for a million dollars each in appreciation for you taking the time to vote.”
But he deleted that post midday, replacing it with a similar message that removed any linkage between his actions and voting. He declared the $1 million winners would instead be “spokesmen” for his petition to oppose “activist judges,” and added the event would only be limited to those who signed his petition.
After the news broke Kaul would seek to block Musk’s giveaway, Musk reposted a message on his social media platform X in which another user called the lawsuit “lawfare,” a refrain Trump and his allies have used to decry legal decisions that have gone against the president and the various investigations he’s faced in the last few years….”

Just The News: “A Delta plane headed to Minneapolis had a close call with an Air Force jet, which set off the plane’s collision warning system on Friday.
According to the Associated Press, Delta Flight 2983 took off around 3:15 p.m. at the same time as four U.S. Air Force T-38 Talon aircraft were returning. The Delta aircraft, which had 131 passengers, received a collision warning alarm when the jets were doing a flyover of Arlington National Cemetery, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The FAA is investigating the incident after air traffic controllers “issued corrective instructions to both aircraft.”
The near collision happened near Ronald Reagan Airport in Arlington, Va. just outside of Washington D.C., which is where a passenger plane collided with a military helicopter in January, claiming 67 lives.”

I sure hope RFKJ (or whoever oversees the EPA) looks into these pesticides – Bayer is corrupt thru-and-thru!!!
Just The News: “State legislatures across the country are considering bills that would limit legal liability for pesticide makers. The bills would protect pesticide makers from lawsuits as long as they have a label that meets U.S. Environmental Protection Agency standards. The bill passed the Georgia House of Representatives on March 13 and is now on Gov. Brian Kemp’s desk.
The legislation passed in Georgia days before a jury awarded a man $2.1 billion in a lawsuit against Bayer, the makers of Roundup Weed Killer. The Georgia man said the product caused his cancer. Bayer officials said in a statement the company would appeal the verdict and it stood behind its Roundup product.
“The company remains committed to trying cases, having secured favorable outcomes in 17 of the last 25 trials,” the company said. “Our track record demonstrates that we win when plaintiffs’ attorneys and their experts are not allowed to misrepresent the worldwide regulatory and scientific assessments that continue to support the products’ safety.”
The Tennessee Senate Judiciary Committee heard a similar bill this week and received an earful from those opposed to the legislation.
Amy Miller accused Bayer of a “fear campaign.” “It is taking away our ability to fight for truth, for discover and if we get harmed,” Miller told the committee.
Bayer officials told the Atlanta Journal Constitution it is working to pass the bill in statehouses.
“Since litigation against glyphosate began, Bayer has paid out roughly $10 billion from an expensed & provisioned total of $16 billion to address these cases – funds that could be invested in R&D and used toward creating new technology for farmers, consumers and patients,” the company told the newspaper.
Farmers call the products “crop protection.” Smith County farmer George McDonald told the Tennessee Senate Judiciary Committee that farmers are trained to use the products. “If we keep chipping away at these tools that we have in our toolbox, we will not be able to use those tools and if we do not have these pesticides, taking them away from farmers will be like taking away tractors from farmers,” McDonald told the committee.
The Tennessee bill passed the Judiciary Committee 6-2 and goes to the full Senate for approval. The Tennessee House Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing on their version on Wednesday.
Other states are considering similar bills. The Missouri House of Representatives passed the bill in February and a Senate committee passed it on Thursday, according to its website. The Iowa Senate passed it on Monday, according to WKRG. The bill moves to the House, where it failed last year.
Montana’s bill never made it out of the House of Representatives and missed the deadline for general bill transmittal, according to Montana Legislative Services.”

Just The News: “The Department of State will assume many of the responsibilities and oversight of programs previously performed by the U.S. Agency of International Development, effectively shuttering the controversial USAID department.
Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) had been targeting USAID’s questionable spending for cuts, leading to legal challenges. But on Friday, a federal appeals court overturned a lower court’s ruling that certain DOGE activities at USAID were unconstitutional, granting a stay on the earlier ruling and allowing DOGE to continue its scrutiny of USAID spending.
“Foreign assistance done right can advance our national interests, protect our borders, and strengthen our partnerships with key allies,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio wrote Friday in a post to X. “Unfortunately, USAID strayed from its original mission long ago. As a result, the gains were too few and the costs were too high. Thanks to President Trump, this misguided and fiscally irresponsible era is now over.”
USAID was responsible for overseeing spending on program that provided humanitarian assistance around the world, but Musk’s DOGE revealed a long list of controversial spending examples that led to Rubio and President Donald Trump deciding to dismantle the agency.”

“March For Our Lives Lays Off Most Employees”
Bearing Arms, Tom Knighton | 2:29 PM | March 28, 2025
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “One of the silly things about the gun control movement is that everyone on that side of the debate wants to start an organization, but they all seem to try and do the same thing. March for Our Lives was, at least, a little different in that it focused mostly on younger Americans. Created in the wake of Parkland by Parkland survivors, it made a big splash from the start. It attracted a lot of attention and a lot of money.
Apparently, though, not nearly enough, as the organization just laid off the majority of its full-time staff.
Now, when I first saw the headline and read this part of the piece, my first thought was DOGE cutting off the NGO pipeline. While money wasn’t supposed to go to gun control groups, what happened a lot of times was that it went through pass-through organizations that took the USAID money and then donated it to anti-gun organizations.
With that largely cut off now, I suspect some of those groups are going to feel the hurt, and that this might be just the first of many taking steps because of that. And I can’t rule out that playing a role, but it seems they’ve had some issues since before Trump took office and Elon Musk took a chainsaw to government waste, fraud, and abuse.
Corin argues that the organization took on more than it could handle and started running short. Of course, Michael Bloomberg could probably have covered the losses with his walking-around money, but he didn’t. I’m sure some of those now laid-off employees are thinking about that fact, though.
Basically, though, it seems that they got a massive influx of money and thought that gravy train would run indefinitely. It didn’t, though, and since they’d likely started off by banking on the previous year’s donations, they were ill-prepared for a downturn in contributions.
Yet with the cost of everything going up, people were a lot tighter with their money, which is probably why they got fewer in contributions. Even the wealthy donors were a little more cautious with where they put their money, which likely hurt. And rather than make adjustments along the way to adapt, they just kept hoping it would change. Now, they’re laying off more than 80 percent of their full-time employees.
Those are likely also the ones who would be partially responsible for raising money, so that’s probably not going to help a whole lot in the long run, either. It seems that March for Our Lives roared in with fire and fury, but will soon be nothing but ash.”

“Touching: Libs Spell Out ‘Coexist’ With Burning Teslas”
U.S. · Mar 29, 2025 · BabylonBee.com
SEATTLE, WA — In a beautiful, heartwarming call for universal peace, liberals took several stolen, burning Teslas and arranged them to spell out “Coexist.”
The fires burned for hours, sending massive plumes of smoke into the air, a signal to the world of the progressive desire for people of all backgrounds to live in harmony with each other.
“These torched cars show how serious we are about tolerance,” explained local liberal Geoffrey Wendt. “Every firebomb we throw is a call for us to love and accept our neighbors, regardless of their beliefs or background. Can you smell that burning gasoline? That’s the sweet smell of peaceful coexistence with all mankind.”
Conservatives across the country instantly saw the error of their ways after witnessing the beautiful message spelled out in flames. “Wow. Maybe we really can live together in unity,” said local man Bill Patton, as he watched his Tesla being burned. “It seemed like we were so divided as a nation. But, as I was dragged from car and beaten with a pipe, I finally began to realize that peace is possible.”
At publishing time, liberals had sent another poignant message by spelling out “Justice” with the bodies of assassinated CEOs.

LEGOLAND, CA — Representatives from LEGO gathered at Legoland in San Diego to unveil a new series of building sets called ‘California Home’ that requires kids to fill out building permits and wait two years before starting construction.
“We are thrilled to announce the new ‘California Home’ edition of our popular Lego building sets,” Lego representative Nancy Snyder said while speaking to a group of Legoland attendees. “Kids will love applying for permits, getting denied, waiting two years, doing environmental studies, and then hoping their approved permits don’t need any amending before then can get to work on construction of the sets!”
The new boxes will contain all the necessary paperwork to begin filing permits for building construction, as well as a chuckling government employee who will laugh at the children’s misfortune.
“If kids start building their sets before the permits are approved, representatives from the California government will come to their houses, confiscate their bricks, and throw the kids in jail,” Snyder said. “We can’t wait to see how much fun families have with this process!”
At publishing time, Lego announced it would also be releasing a new “California Homeless Encampment” series where builders can construct tent cities and open-air drug markets out of bricks.

“Trump Leaves Presidency To Become Even More Powerful District Court Judge”
Politics · Mar 28, 2025 · BabylonBee.com
WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump announced this week that he was leaving office in order to take an even more powerful position as a U.S. District Court judge.
After ascending to the presidency twice in the last decade, Trump set his sights on the next rung up the political ladder, with a spot in the federal judiciary proving him with far more authority to rule the nation.
“I love being president. I’m great at it. The best our country has ever had, many people say,” Trump told the press. “But after seeing how much power those U.S. District Court judges have, I’ve decided to resign the presidency and join the judiciary. They seem to really be able to do anything they want.”
Trump announced the move after a series of sweeping rulings from judges over the last several weeks, which greatly limited the breadth of the executive branch’s powers. Trump said he’s been eyeing the move for a while and thinks he’d be a great fit as he’s already well-versed in the legal system.
“After going through all that stuff with the corrupt courts in New York, I think I have a pretty good handle on how things work,” Trump said. “There can’t be that much to it. Just bang the wooden hammer thing and create your own rules and laws all the time. Some are saying I’m going to be the best District Court judge that ever lived. I didn’t say it, but some have.”
At publishing time, Trump decided he might also try his hand at running for Congress for when he needs to have a break and take a much-needed rest from doing any work.

Anyway, if there’s any doppelgangers of me out there I just feel sorry for the ugly bastard…
The chances of sharing just eight dimensions with someone else are less than one in a trillion. Even with 7.4 billion people on the planet, that’s only a one in 135 chance that there’s a single pair of doppelgangers.

“The Epstein Conspiracy Legend Grows…Fueled by Stalled Promise to Release Docs”
Sharyl Attkisson, Mar 30, 2025
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Epstein, MLK, and JFK: Amid the Trump administration’s bold commitment to transparency, a tangled web has ensued, fueling longstanding conspiracy theories. As the legend grows, the public is left wondering: What’s really in those files, and why do they stay buried, even now?
The Beginning
The Epstein saga and conspiracy theories launched in 2005 when Palm Beach, Florida, police began an investigation into the wealthy financier after a woman reported he had molested her 14-year-old daughter.
The probe uncovered a sprawling trafficking empire allegedly involving dozens of underage girls at Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion and New York townhouse. In 2008, Epstein was arrested the first time. He was allowed to plead guilty to state charges of soliciting prostitution from a minor. And instead of a lengthy prison term, Epstein received what many considered a shockingly lenient 13-month sentence. Not only that, but much of it was served on work release, allowing him six days a week outside jail.
The sweetheart deal, brokered by then-U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta, sparked the first wave of conspiracy theories: was Epstein’s wealth and elite connections shielding him from real justice? Did he know too much about rich and famous clients?
After his release in 2009, Epstein resumed his high-flying life, hobnobbing with the rich and famous—former presidents, royalty, billionaires—seemingly unbothered by federal scrutiny. And his famous associates seemed unbothered by his scandalous conviction.
As I reported on my TV program Full Measure, the FBI apparently wasn’t even monitoring Epstein as he allegedly built his trafficking network. It wasn’t until July 2019 that he was arrested for a second time—not by the FBI, but by the U.S. Marshal’s Service, acting on citizen tips about suspicious activity at a Miami airport. The federal charges that followed accused him of abusing dozens of minors, paying victims to recruit others into his orbit.
Conspiracy Theory Part Deux
Then came August 10, 2019. The conspiracy theories were about to launch into the strastosphere. In a plot straight from a movie, Epstein was found dead in his cell at New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Center. It was officially ruled that he’d committed suicide by hanging himself. There was near-universal alarm that such an important and high-profile defendant who was supposed to be monitored by 24/7 cameras and on suicide watch, could have killed himself under the nose of his prison watchers.
The timing—just weeks after his arrest—fueled rampant speculation. Two guards tasked with watching Epstein had supposedly fallen asleep, cameras that would have captured what happened mysteriously malfunctioned at precise moments, and a subsequent Justice Department investigation found no evidence of foul play.
Many in the public were unconvinced. Was Epstein silenced to protect his powerful “clients”? No concrete proof of a hit has emerged, but the questions persist, amplified by his ties to powerful political figures.
Meantime, the FBI and Department of Justice confiscated troves of documents, videos, and evidence from Epstein’s properties including what’s been termed “Epstein Island,” also known as Little Saint James, located in the U.S. Virgin Islands, about two miles off the southeastern coast of St. Thomas. It’s a small, 71.6-acre private island. Epstein also owned Great Saint James, a 161-acre island he bought in 2016.
With all of the evidence in official hands, victims, the public, and journalists expected a flood of revelations. Instead, much of it seemed to just vanish into bureaucratic limbo. Some documents surfaced in civil suits, and also in the 2021 trial of Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell. She’s now serving 20 years in prison for trafficking-related charges.
But the juiciest details—videos seen being hauled off the Island by FBI agents, a fabled “client list”—apparently stayed locked away, deepening the conspiracy narrative. As The Washington Post noted in July 2024, no single “client list” has ever been referenced in legal filings, yet the idea persists that the government is hiding explosive names. It has long been said that Epstein kept records regarding his famous clients.
Transparency Promise
Enter Trump 2.0. During his 2024 campaign, Trump vowed to unseal the Epstein files, alongside those of JFK and MLK. On January 23, days after his inauguration, President Trump signed an executive order to declassify the JFK assassination files, later adding Epstein to the list.
Attorney General Pam Bondi quickly took up the cause with enthusiasm. On February 21, she told Fox News’ John Roberts that the Epstein files were “sitting on my desk right now,” promising a release “very soon.”
The hype peaked on February 27, when Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel reportedly handed binders labeled “The Epstein Files: Phase 1” to pro-Trump influencers at the White House. Cameras rolled as figures waved them triumphantly.
But the excitement fizzled fast. The binders, posted online by the DOJ later that day, contained flight logs and a redacted address book—material that had already been public for years from Maxwell’s trial. No new bombshells, no “client list.”
Bondi shifted blame to the FBI’s New York field office, claiming in a letter to Director Patel that they were improperly withholding “thousands of pages.” That led to a face-off of sorts: Bondi demanded all outstanding records by 8 a.m. on February 28. Patel vowed on X there’d be “no cover-ups.”
But after Bondi told Sean Hannity of Fox News on March 7 that a “truckload” of files had arrived, the public trail went cold. No official updates since, just whispers from DOJ insiders to some in the media that releases are stalled due to “prosecutorial cases”—a vague-sounding reason that’s only thickened the conspiracy fog.Bloomberg’s Details: Behind the Scenes Flurry?
Bloomberg reports that “An army of FBI agents and FOIA analysts have been holed up in the bureau’s sprawling Central Records Complex in Virginia as they process thousands of pages of Jeffrey Epstein files.” Bloomberg reporter Jason Leopold notes that “Bondi also directed [FBI Director] Patel to conduct an investigation into why the FBI didn’t turn over all of the records she’d requested. She asked the FBI director to provide her with ‘a “comprehensive report of your findings and proposed personnel action within 14 days.’”
The 14 day period has long since passed. “It’s unclear if the report was completed or delivered,” writes Leopold. “An FBI spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment.”
However, Leopold’s sources offer a glimmer of hope and progress. He writes that “about two weeks ago, FBI employees received a directive to begin working uninterrupted on the Epstein records…hundreds of FBI employees…have been working furiously to meet Bondi’s demands. They’ve been holed up in offices at the bureau’s sprawling Central Records Complex in Winchester, Virginia, a 256,000 square-foot facility that houses two billion pages of physical FBI records, and an older building a few miles away…many of the workers have clocked more than 100 hours of work over the most recent two-week pay period, including a marathon session last weekend.”
MLK and JFK
Meantime, the JFK files, partially released earlier this month, offered little new, per Fox News—numerous experts say they found no smoking gun, leaving observers puzzled why the records were held secret past their 2017 statutory deadline for release. When so many formerly withheld files contain nothing particularly noteworthy or previously unknown, it leads us to ask: Are we being played?
Meanwhile, the MLK files also remain unreleased to date.
Epstein’s legend, though, continues to loom largest. The public and even some insiders wonder: Are there truly prosecutions brewing, or is this another chapter in a legendary cover-up? And since powerful interests have worked hard to keep the documents from the public’s eyes for this long, are we really to believe that the most damning evidence even still exists—that the bad actor would let it sit there, just waiting for Trump to get back into office and release it all? Or would it have been long ago spirited away, along with details of Epstein’s untimely demise in prison?
All signs point to the likelihood that we will see some new Epstein evidence at some point. But with no official timeline for release announced, the Epstein conspiracy grows, proving once again: the less we know, the more we suspect.”

“New Jersey gubernatorial candidate and Newark mayor Ras Baraka (D.) defended the Nation of Islam and accused critics of trying to silence him after a video surfaced showing him applauding racist and violent comments from Louis Farrakhan, the group’s notorious anti-Semitic leader.
While serving as Newark’s deputy mayor in 2004, Baraka hosted Farrakhan to celebrate the first day of Kwanzaa – a bullshit, made up holiday (as are all holidays) some black folks celebrate instead of Christmas. The Nation of Islam minister encouraged the mostly black audience to “break his neck” if “the cracker hit you on the jaw,” called white people “the devil,” and praised Baraka’s father. Baraka, for his part, called Farrakhan a “role model” whose teachings helped him “become a man” as a college student.
A Newark native, Baraka is the son of poet and ‘activist’ Amiri Baraka (who’s real name was Everett Leroy Jones). His father may have single-handedly been the flint that ignited the riots in Newark in the summer of 1967.
As a side note, my father was the police officer (sergeant) who arrested and jailed Leroy Jones. He said it was his best day on the job.”

Oh, I used to love watching Dr. Kildare!!! I also enjoyed The Thorn Birds but the book was better.
Just The News: “Richard Chamberlain, an actor who starred in “The Thorn Birds” and “Shōgun,” died on Saturday at 90. He would have celebrated his 91st birthday on Monday.
Chamberlain was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Korea before he started to act. He went on to win a Golden Globe Award for the role of “Dr. Kildare.”

If you don’t want to watch the whole thing, watch at the end when he discusses the war in Ukraine and why he called Mark Kelly a traitor! I was very impressed with his sincerity and it is so very true!!!

Just The News: “The Security and Exchange Commission announced Thursday it will stop defending its controversial climate-disclosure rule against legal challenges, and it would not proceed with oral arguments.
“The goal of today’s Commission action and notification to the court is to cease the Commission’s involvement in the defense of the costly and unnecessarily intrusive climate change disclosure rules,” acting SEC Chair Mark Uyeda said in a statement.
In a 3-2 vote, the commission adopted the rule in March 2024, with some of the more stringent aspects of the proposed rule removed. Despite the concessions, the rule faced a barrage of lawsuits from interest groups, trade associations and 43 states. The challenges were consolidated in the Eighth Circuit, and the SEC announced in April it would not implement the rule while the legal challenges played out.
The Liberty Justice Center was among the litigants challenging the rule. The center’s lawsuit argued the rule violated the First Amendment by forcing companies to speak on this issue and that the rules exceeded the SEC’s authority because they were not authorized by Congress.
“These illegal rules never should have been adopted. They’re about forcing companies to support an ideological agenda, not regulating securities and protecting investors. The SEC is right to drop its defense of these indefensible rules,” Jacob Huebert, president of the Liberty Justice Center, said in a statement.”

Some good news for sure!!!
Just The News: “Just Stop Oil, a climate activist group known for vandalizing Stonehenge and works of art, announced Thursday that it will cease these kinds of highly visible forms of protest at the end of April. “Three years after bursting on the scene in a blaze of orange, at the end of April we will be hanging up the hi vis,” the group said in a statement. “So it is the end of soup on Van Goghs, cornstarch on Stonehenge and slow marching in the streets.”
In the announcement, the group boasted of having stopped consumers from accessing over 4.4 billion barrels of oil by ensuring oil companies won’t be able to produce them. The group also vowed to continue their efforts to stop people from using fossil fuels through other methods.
“This is not the end of civil resistance. Governments everywhere are retreating from doing what is needed to protect us from the consequences of unchecked fossil fuel burning. As we head towards 2°C of global heating by the 2030s, the science is clear: billions of people will have to move or die and the global economy is going to collapse,” the group said.
According to data from the International Disaster Database, the number of deaths from climate related natural disasters has declined approximately 98% since 1920.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a United Nations consortium of the world’s leading scientists, develops policy scenarios – called Shared Socioeconomic Pathways – to forecast emissions and economic outcomes under various policy approaches to addressing climate change. The IPCC projects enormous economic growth under all policy scenarios, even under a policy scenario in which nothing is done to address emissions.”

Just The News: “President Donald Trump revealed that he is “very angry” and “pissed off” after Russian President Vladimir Putin essentially called for removing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s leadership. According to Agence France-Presse, Putin on Friday advocated for a transitional government be installed as a way to force out Zelenskyy.
“I was very angry, pissed off” when Putin “started getting into [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelensky’s credibility” and “started talking about new leadership,” he said.
Trump said he would take economic action against Russia if needed.
“If Russia and I are unable to make a deal on stopping the bloodshed in Ukraine, and if I think it was Russia’s fault — which it might not be — but if I think it was Russia’s fault, I am going to put secondary tariffs on oil, on all oil coming out of Russia,” Trump told NBC News on Sunday. “That would be that if you buy oil from Russia, you can’t do business in the United States.”
Trump threatened a 25% tariff on “all oil, a 25- to 50-point tariff on all oil.”
