What Shall We Bake Today?

Today’s offering is in honor of St. Patrick’s Day—Shamrock Snacks!

Ingredients

pretzel sticks

mini pretzel twists

Rolo candy

green M&Ms (such as Dark Chocolate Mint M&M’s or Milk Chocolate M&Ms)

Directions

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.

Place three mini pretzels and one pretzel stick in a shamrock shape on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.

Place a Rolo candy in the middle of the pretzels. Repeat with as many treats as you’d like to make.

Bake for 2 minutes at 250 degrees in the oven until the chocolate is just starting to melt, but not all the way melted.

Gently press a green M&M in the middle of Rolo so that the chocolate connects all four pretzels.

Freeze until the chocolate is set, then enjoy! Yup, that’s all it takes to make these cute shamrock snacks!

To store leftovers, just keep them in a covered container for up to a few days.

ENJOY!

  1. Morning All!
head cold is still raging but i was able to sleep upstairs in bed instead of upright on my chair.
we didn’t see the eclipse, but we did get woken up by the full moon shining in…big and bright.

    1. Good morning! I wouldn’t know about the moon – once I hit my recliner, I’m out! Being able to sleep in the bed is progress, at least. Got the message “your computer ran into a problem” this morning – hopefully, Windows fixed it because it restarted ok. I’m gonna have to get a new one – very soon! Starting out at 42 this morning but that will change later, supposedly, with snow possible. But, we’ll see – just as much chance that it misses me completely.

    Secretary Kennedy:

I am directing the FDA commissioner to start the process of changing the rules to eliminate the self-affirmed GRAS pathway for new ingredients. I am also calling on the @US_FDA and @NIH continue to conduct and improve post-market assessments of GRAS chemicals currently in our food so we can rapidly identify the compounds that are making Americans so sick, and so that American consumers and regulators can make informed decisions. This is an important step in our pursuit to Make America Healthy Again.

He says the FDA has nothing to do with the GRAS designation and that companies decide for themselves whether ingredients are safe. (What could possibly go wrong?)

    @realDonaldTrump

If New York, Connecticut, and New England had their Pipelines, savings from Heating alone would go down $2,300 per family — When you add Air Conditioning, and other things, you would have a $5,000 savings per family. All we need is a simple approval from New York. Every other State in New England, plus Connecticut, wants this, in order to help the Environment, and save BIG money. We only need the final approval from New York State, whose people all want it. Otherwise, we’ll have to use other authorities. New York State has held up this project for many years, but we won’t let that happen any longer. We will use federal approval!

Kash Patel CONFIRMS Judge Juan Merchan should have never been assigned to Donald Trump’s case

Kash Patel “I’m calling for the subpoenas to be issued to Judge Merchant’s Daughter’s company who made $15+ million dollars from the illicit information pouring out of her father’s courtroom

    – I wanna know the bank records because money doesn’t lie
    – I wanna know how deep it is and how much of it went to the family and how much of it is going to the family after this false conviction
    – Then we need to investigate the FEC actual violations that this judge and his family conducted

Judge Juan Merchan should never have been overseeing this trial to begin with because of the illicit campaign money that was flowing through there and the unconstitutional due process violations are only the beginning.“

That’s not all, here’s more reasons why he should have NEVER been assigned Donald Trump’s case from The Older Millennial:

‘For these type of cases, the way it’s supposed to work is that there is a panel of 24 judges, and they are all put in rotation and randomly assigned these types of cases. Judge Merchan is not on that panel. That’s because he’s not a judge. He’s an acting judge.

The only way he could have caught this case was to be specifically assigned to it. There was no chance of him being randomly selected.

The wild thing is that according to the left and the department of justice, judge Merchan was not only randomly selected to be the judge in this trial, but he was also randomly selected to be the judge in the Trump Organization case, and he was randomly selected to be the judge in the Steve Bannon case.

So judge Merchan, a judge that is not in the pool of 24 judges that is supposed to catch these cases, a judge that is not an actual judge, but an acting judge caught all 3 Trump related cases randomly. This is a judge who gives heavily to an organization very plainly named Stop Trump, and a judge whose daughter makes tens of millions of dollars every year promoting Democrats.’

    Insane corruption.

  5. Just The News: “Labor unions representing federal workers are facing another challenge to collective bargaining rights — and even their very existence — in a newly introduced Republican bill meant to prevent American taxpayer dollars from subsidizing union costs.

The Federal Workforce Freedom Act would prohibit federal employees from organizing or joining labor unions in order to collectively bargain, as well as forbid federal agencies from participating in collective bargaining negotiations with labor unions representing federal workers. The bill, introduced Thursday, would also terminate any and all collective bargaining agreements between labor unions and federal agencies “established before, on, or after the date of enactment of this bill.”

The sponsors of the bill, U.S. Sens. Mike Lee, R-Utah, and Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., argue that these kinds of collective bargaining agreements harm worker efficiency, increase labor costs, and charge taxpayers in the bargaining process.

“Public servants are not like private sector employees. They should not be able to collectively bargain for leverage over their employers, because they work for the American people,” Lee said Thursday. “[I]t is time that we required all federal workers to spend their days working for the public instead of union business.”

The bill could positively impact taxpayers in the long run, who bear the administrative costs when the federal government collects union fees from member’s paychecks and then transfers the dues to the organizations. Additionally, the legislation could help the government save millions of taxpayer dollars annually by no longer having to pay the salaries of federal employees who work as union representatives.

According to a 2020 report from the United States Office of Personnel Management, federal employees spent roughly 2.6 million hours on union activities during work hours during 2019, costing taxpayers an estimated $135 million.

“This legislation would end federal labor unions and immediately terminate their collective bargaining agreements to ensure the federal government is working on behalf of the American people – not labor unions – by increasing the productivity of its workforce,” Blackburn said in a statement.

If passed, the bill would affect 25% of the federal employee workforce who are members of public sector unions, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The same day Blackburn and Lee introduced their bill, a coalition of labor unions filed a lawsuit challenging Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem’s decision to terminate the DHS’ collective bargaining agreement, impacting thousands of federal transportation workers. Several federal workers union lawsuits challenging Trump’s mass layoffs are currently working their way through the courts.”

  6. Just The News: “The Venezuelan government on Thursday agreed to start accepting deportation flights from the United States again, after facing pressure from the Trump administration, U.S. officials said.

The move comes amid heightened tensions between the U.S. and Venezuela, with President Donald Trump back in power. Trump orchestrated a “maximum pressure” sanctions policy against the country during his first term.

Trump last month urged Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro to start accepting the flights again, after Maduro threatened to stop them over Trump’s decision to revoke a special license allowing Chevron to produce and sell oil from the South American country, per Fox News.

Trump’s special envoy for special missions Richard Grenell confirmed the resumption of deportation flights in a post on X. “I am pleased to announce that Venezuela has agreed to resume flights to pick up their citizens who broke U.S. Immigration Laws and entered the U.S. illegally,” he said. “The flights will resume Friday.”

The new flights mean the U.S. can resume its efforts to deport members of one of the most notorious migrant gangs, Tren de Aragua.”

  7. Just The News: “President Donald Trump on Thursday announced that he will be meeting with New York’s Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul on Friday to discuss plans for an energy pipeline in the state.

Trump and Hochul have clashed over plans for the pipeline in the past, which was nixed by New York in 2020, along with Hochul’s congestion traffic pricing program in New York City. The program is also expected to be discussed during the White House meeting, sources told The Hill.

The president told reporters that the pipeline would save New York families approximately $5,000 in energy costs, and that other states in New England already want the pipeline.

“The governor of New York Kathy Hochul, who’s a very nice woman, she’s coming in tomorrow morning at nine o’clock to meet on that and other things,” Trump said. “I hope we don’t have to use the extraordinary power of the federal government to get it done, but if we have to, we will … I can tell you Connecticut wants and all of New England wants it. And who wouldn’t want it?”

Hochul said that she “looks forward” to the meeting, and admitted the pair have “quite an agenda” to talk through. It comes after the pair met in the Oval Office last month.”

  8. Another case of “do what I say, not what I do….”

EXCERPT: “A British jury convicted United Nations Judge Lydia Mugambe on Thursday of forcing a Ugandan woman into domestic servitude after luring her to the U.K. under false pretenses.

Mugambe, who also serves as a high court judge in Uganda, brought the victim to Britain under the guise of securing her a job in a diplomatic household — only to make her work as an unpaid maid and nanny. She confiscated the victim’s passport and visa, leaving her trapped until she was able to contact a friend, who alerted authorities, according to a Thames Valley Police statement.

“Lydia Mugambe used her position to exploit a vulnerable young woman, controlling her freedom and making her work without payment,” Eran Clutliffe, an attorney for the Crown Prosecution Service’s Special Crime Division, said.

The 49-year-old judge, who was studying for a doctorate at the University of Oxford at the time, according to her profile on the U.N.’s website, was found guilty on four charges, including forced labor, an immigration offense and conspiracy to intimidate a witness. Mugambe is also listed on Columbia University’s website as a fellow in their human rights program. Prosecutors argued she “exploited and abused” the victim’s lack of knowledge about her rights to keep her in a state of servitude…..”

  9. Of course, my first question was: borrow from whom? Answer: tax dollars for healthcare providers!

EXCERPT: “California will borrow $3.44 billion this month to keep its Medicaid program afloat as costs for the state’s healthcare expansion, which includes coverage for illegal immigrants, continue to surge.

The emergency loan, requested by Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom’s administration in a Wednesday letter to lawmakers, is the maximum amount the state can borrow and will only cover Medi-Cal costs through the end of March, according to Politico. Republicans, including Senate Minority Leader Brian Jones, have seized on the cost overruns.

“Typical of the secretive Newsom Administration, they just quietly dropped a damning notification that they are taking a $3.44 BILLION loan to fund free healthcare for illegal immigrants,” Jones wrote on X. “The loan is being taken from tax dollars for healthcare providers. This program is out of control.”

Medi-Cal’s financial troubles have been exacerbated by the state’s decision to extend coverage to illegal immigrants, with costs spiraling far beyond initial estimates. When California first expanded Medi-Cal eligibility, officials projected it would cost roughly $3 billion per year. That figure has now ballooned to $8.4 billion for 2024-25 in the governor’s budget proposal — nearly triple the original estimate — placing further strain on the state’s budget….”

  12. Trump White House Has Asked U.S. Military to Develop Options for the Panama Canal, Officials Say

The White House has directed the U.S. military to draw up options for increasing the American troop presence in Panama to achieve President Trump’s goal of “reclaiming” the Panama Canal, according to two U.S. officials familiar with the planning.

During a joint address to Congress last week, Trump said, “to further enhance our national security, my administration will be reclaiming the Panama Canal.” Since then, administration officials have not said what “reclaiming” means.

U.S. Southern Command is developing potential plans that vary from partnering more closely with Panamanian security forces to the less likely option of U.S. troops seizing the Panama Canal by force, the officials said. Whether military force is used, the officials added, depends on how much Panamanian security forces agree to partner with the U.S.

The Trump administration’s goal is to increase the U.S. military presence in Panama to diminish China’s influence there, particularly access to the canal, the officials said. Both Panama and China deny there is any foreign interference in the 50-mile canal, whose neutrality is enshrined in Panama’s Constitution. – NBC News

Our Take: There are some gold nuggets of humor in this narrative. The first being the casual disclosure in this article that the US Army Corps of Engineers still operate the canal locks that are used to move ships from one side to the other.

Then there’s last week’s story about Blackrock acquiring all the ports in the Panama Canal for $23 billion — a move that was fully backed by President Trump. (Sounds like the time Saudi Crown Prince MBS used his corrupt/arrested cousin’s [seized] investment firm to invest in X and Elon’s new AI company.)

I’ve heard Colonel Macgregor equate the alleged Chinese involvement in the Canal with being custodians, downplaying their real influence over the passage of ships. If there is any truth to that, then perhaps there is more to this Panama Canal narrative then meets the eye — a narrative purpose.

We’ve discussed on Breaking History the long history of the Green Berets in Panama, and Colonel Towner-Watkins has detailed the ties that subject has to Operation [Gladio] Condor. Will this narrative unravel into a public disclosure on CIA regime-change operations in Central and South America? Just as similar story lines are unfolding in Europe? And Africa? And Asia?

  13. Why There’s No Need for Procrastinators to Rush for a Real ID

We’ve seen some long, snaking lines outside Illinois Secretary of State facilities in Chicago’s Loop as the deadline for Real ID enforcement at the nation’s airports looms. So kudos to Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias for triaging the situation and opening a downtown Real ID Supercenter at 191 N. Clark St. on Tuesday without asking for additional taxpayer funding to do so. Clearly, people shouldn’t have to wait all day. There, no appointment is needed.

In case you’ve been under a rock, the term Real ID refers to the Real ID Act of 2005 — yes, 20 years ago — that established for a post-9/11 world more stringent requirements for driver’s licenses and identification cards issued by U.S. states and territories.

The thinking was that the states all had different security systems, with varying efficacy, and the federal government wanted standardization so it could be sure the bearers were who they claimed to be. The implementation was much delayed due to a whole slew of factors, from states opposing the very notion to later delays caused by the pandemic to the usual governmental slowness. But 20 years have gone by; you procrastinators cannot claim you were not warned.

There are reasonable arguments for securing airports and other federal facilities by having more dependable IDs; any college student, or parent thereof, knows how easily driver’s licenses can be faked. – Chicago Tribune

Our Take: Can President Trump pass an EO to abolish the REAL ID?

If we don’t even require ID for ALL of our elections why should I be required to get a REAL ID to fly? – Jon Herold

  14. Putin Stops Far Short of Agreeing to a Cease-Fire, and Adds Tough Conditions

President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia on Thursday did not rule out a U.S. and Ukrainian proposal for a monthlong cease-fire, but he set down numerous conditions that would most likely delay any truce — or could make one impossible to achieve.

His remarks, at a news conference in Moscow, came as U.S. officials were in Russia to discuss the cease-fire proposal that Ukraine has already agreed to.

“The idea itself is the right one, and we definitely support it,” Mr. Putin said. “But there are questions that we need to discuss, and I think that we need to talk them through with our American colleagues and partners.”

Those questions, Mr. Putin said, included whether Kyiv would be able to continue receiving arms shipments during the 30-day truce, and how the cease-fire would be monitored and enforced.

President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine said that Mr. Putin’s comments had been “very predictable, very manipulative.” – The New York Times

Our Take: As I’ve been saying for three years, whatever peace deal is brokered between Russia and Ukraine is going to be identical to the one Putin offered in March 2022.

The Donbas is Russian. NATO fucks off. These have always been the terms. Putin has always held the cards. Trump knows. – Burning Bright

  15. As Feud Peaks, Netanyahu Accuses Shin Bet Chief of Blackmail

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar of “blackmail” on Thursday, as the feud between the pair reached an unprecedented level.

The allegation was part of a statement issued by Netanyahu in response to an interview given by Bar’s predecessor Nadav Argaman who revealed that he is sitting on a trove of information that would compromise the premier that he will release to the public if the prime minister breaks the law.

Netanyahu is widely reported to have been working for months to try and oust Bar, as he seeks to place the blame for the failures that allowed for Hamas’s October 7 onslaught to unfold squarely on the security echelon, as opposed to the political leadership.

Bar is said to be pushing back against the effort, fearing that acquiescence would allow Netanyahu to appoint a loyalist in his stead. – The Times of Israel

Our Take: Ay caramba, this soap opera is getting good. So now Bibi is claiming that his former [FBI Director] is blackmailing him?

Doesn’t the fact that Bibi used the word “blackmail” to describe the threats by Argaman imply that Bibi has some skeletons? Or is he merely playing up the victim card? (Something he’s pretty notorious for doing.)

Whatever the motive, here is the net result: (From the interview.)

Interesting. And straight from the mouth of the former head of the Shin Bet. Netanyahu not only funded Hamas, he propped them up after Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas tried to bleed them dry.

Hamas would have collapsed in 2018, had Netanyahu not stepped in. That is the truth that changes the entire conversation surrounding October 7.

  16. SCOTUS to Determine if Colorado “Conversion Therapy” Ban Violates First Amendment

On Monday, March 10, the U.S. Supreme Court agreed to review a case that could have blockbuster repercussions.

The case, Chiles v. Salazar, concerns a Colorado licensed professional counselor who wishes to provide services to Colorado youth suffering from gender dysphoria. But Colorado law forbids that counselor, Kaley Chiles, from providing any counseling (i.e. speaking) if it concerns the concept of a young person NOT seeking to affirm their transgender status.

For example, if a young person who has transitioned from one sex to another is questioning that decision and approaches Chiles for guidance about potentially detransitioning, she is legally forbidden from providing that guidance. — Legal Insurrection

Our Take: Mad science has turned into legal madness (again) and it’s headed for SCOTUS. And, of course, the face of the madness is Colorado (again).

The law here essentially says that a child can make life altering changes to their bodies — turn their healthy penis into a frankengina, carve up their forearm to craft a flaccid, phallus-like appendage for their healthy labias, remove their healthy (and biologically magical) breasts, sterilize their healthy reproduction and prevent themselves from ever experiencing healthy sexual pleasure — but they aren’t allowed to change their minds. At least, no one is allowed to help them try and get healthy if they do change their minds.

Changing their minds isn’t allowed. “Once trans, always trans” according to Colorado’s rainbow communists. Madness.

History will harshly judge this season of mad science, with future generations wondering in horror how society could convince itself that sexualizing, sterilizing, and mutilating children was moral and right. Either that, or they’ll have their way with gay climate abortions and humanity will die off, saved only through Elon Musk’s hard drive on “mars.”

Or the meteor. Stories like this make me root for the meteor. Madness. Maranatha! — Ashe in America

NB. Apologies for being so graphic, but it’s important to resist becoming numb to the horrors these monsters call “rights.” Besides, I didn’t even get into the tomato paste. You’re welcome.

  17. Trump Administration Empties Guantánamo of Migrants, Flies All Back to US

The Trump administration’s plans to detain migrants in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, hit another roadblock this week after all 40 such individuals held there were sent back to the United States, with no future deportation flights scheduled to the island.

A Defense official confirmed to The Hill Thursday there are “zero” migrants being held at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, including a group of 23 “high threat” individuals held at the detention facility on base and 17 others who were detained at the migrant operations center there.

The official did not say where the men had been moved to, but multiple outlets reported they were transported by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) aircraft Tuesday and relocated to one or more of the agency’s facilities in Louisiana.

Further questions were referred to ICE, which did not respond to requests for comment from The Hill. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) did not comment. – The Hill

“These black “minors” kicked the crud out of this white Baltimore kid but for some reason it’s not national news”

Not The Bee, Jesse James, Mar 13, 2025

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Imagine how the media and top politicians would respond if this had been a group of white kids kicking the living daylights out of a black kid: [Warning: Disturbing, language]

The kid’s dad spoke out: [Same footage here]

    From CBS News:

A group of minors has been charged for their involvement in a violent assault on another minor last week in Baltimore County, according to police.

Police confirmed the assault happened on Friday, March 7, at the Kings Mill Apartment complex off Hadwick Avenue in Essex. Multiple videos of the attack surfaced on social media.

The victim was hurt, but he is expected to be OK.

Police said eight minors have been identified as the alleged attackers. However, because of their ages and the state law, only five can be charged.

Police said the charges don’t involve a hate crime.

We’ll never know if this kid was beat up because he is minority white in black-majority Baltimore. I’m not sure the Baltimore PD would ever admit that.

But I can guarantee you that if the skin colors were swapped, the deep-blue city would be moaning about racism, it would be picked up by NBC, CBS, ABC, and CNN, there would be op-eds for three weeks in The New York Times, the BBC would be sending reporters from England to cover racism in America, top Dems would be making speeches about the hatred on our streets and somehow connect it to Donald Trump, and then a few cities would burn and some Nikes would be looted for the sake of “justice.”It should make you think.

Thanks to new laws in Maryland, minors as young as ten can be charged with crimes. Let’s hope these kids learn from their mistake on this one, and don’t grow up to be those “teens” we’re always hearing about.”

Some “MAGA” figures such as radio show host Joe Pagliarulo and social media influencer Gunther Eagleman have  said they were targets of swatting this week, according to Newsweek.

“This isn’t about politics – weaponizing law enforcement against ANY  American is not only morally reprehensible but also endangers lives, including those of our officers,” Patel’s post continued. “That will not be tolerated. We are fully committed to working with local law enforcement to crack down on these crimes.”

He said there would be updates on the situation later.”

  23. “The Accumulation of Frustration”

    T.L. Davis, Mar 10, 2025

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “The frustration among the people who voted for Trump, including those who voted for him so that Musk would burrow deep into the guts of this diseased republic and RFK Jr. to expose the harmful ingredients in the food, medicine and skies, all know one thing: that if they themselves had done any of the crimes commonly exposed on social media, they would be in jail.

It’s the seeming “big club” of federal workers who are usually somehow able to escape being fired, a common occurrence among those who pay their salaries, and impervious to being held accountable for open and wanton illegal activity that enrages the taxpayer.

One appears to walk an increasingly thin line as they try to go about their daily lives and work their jobs, while the other appears to breeze carefree along broad avenues of forgiveness.

Consider, for a moment, that the average person in the private sector is subject, often, to at-will employment, meaning that one might be fired at-will, with no explanation or cause. Many are subject to corporate policy that allows them to be fired for cause. It’s tougher to fire someone with a union, but still not impossible.

When they go home, many submit to Homeowners Associations (HOAs) who can prescribe penalties and fines for violations of paint color, signs or flags on their houses; these rules often reflect the political point of view of their neighbors, or whatever. Some municipalities require them to recycle their trash and can be punished for failure to do so. There are noise ordinances, pet ordinances, gun-free zones, parking limitations, orderly and cleanliness ordinances, etc.

At work they are restricted by federal and state regulations, any violation of which can cost one their job and sometimes incur personal fines. There’s safety regulations. The one that vexes me is the requirement for a harness to be worn whenever working over 4 feet (it used to be five). The trouble is, the lanyard is six feet long to allow movement and has a shock absorber that reduces castration that deploys over 3 feet.

So, if one were to fall, wearing their harness, there would be no help from the harness at all. The limit should be 10 feet, but some genius saw the stats that showed falls over 4 feet caused injury and that’s where the limit began. It is this frustrating, nonsensical rules and regulations (OSHA) that people doling out a significant amount of their paycheck to fund are forced to tolerate without comment, less they be viewed as a troublemaker and not “on the team.”

(No, I have never been fired or penalized for any of that, it’s just frustrating and lends to a devalued sense of personal autonomy. And, I have rarely ever been considered “on the team” anyway.)

Along with all of the things that were normally done that have been stripped away through the decades of this overregulation, minute inspections of one’s every action and somehow subject to some board or council that decides how we’re all supposed to behave throughout our lives that could be done away with and possibly reduce the amount of alcohol consumption and drug addiction.

An example: I owned a water well drilling company and we had saved up the used oil from changing oil in the shop in 55 gallon drums, also some five-gallon buckets. When the banking crisis of 2008 hit and destroyed the housing market, we were able to plug along for two more years of banker and Bush/Obama inspired wreckage before I had to close shop. When I went to the landfill to dispose of the 55 gallon barrels, (2) that I had loaded in the back of my pickup at great effort and assembled the random five-gallon buckets, I was told that I could only dispose of 15 gallons per trip. What?

I argued that this oil had been accumulated over several years during which I had made no trips and that it should be added up and allowed. That went nowhere. I suggested that perhaps it would be better to wait until night and pour it all into a bar ditch, would they prefer that? That went over less well and I was told to leave, right then. It is this intransigence when dealing with those imposing some arbitrary restriction simply because it came from some board or council that inspires alcohol abuse and drug addiction.

I did not give up, but developed a plan. I went back sometime later, ready to implement it, and was relieved that those I’d encountered before were not working and I just backed up to the disposal trough, took out the plugs and tipped both barrels over onto the tailgate. Within seconds, the two barrels were spilling into the trough.

The new attendants rushed out from their office and told me I couldn’t do that. I looked confused and asked “why not?” They went through the 15-gallon rule all while the oil spilled out. “Oh, I’m sorry! Well, I’ll remember, next time.” The dirty looks bothered me not at all as I put the plugs back in and tipped the empty barrels up and drove off.

I don’t think people calculate all of the time spent putting on useless harnesses, or finding ways around stupid rules, but there is an accumulation of frustration from people who try, actually try, to do the right thing. It’s this accumulation of frustration that has been building up within the population for decades that’s driving the demand for accountability.

Added to that, are experiences caused by the retarded health policies of the pandemic and illegal force applied to making millions of people take an experimental drug and the population has been driven to revolt.

Electing Trump and his helpers was that revolt and now they want to see the results of that revolt that can only be satisfied by handcuffs on those imperious agents, bureaucrats and NGOs that have swindled the American people of the prosperity they earned and deserve.”

I can remember going there as a kid and seeing actual stage performances before and after feature movies. maybe I dreamed it, but I vaguely remember seeing a guy balance a chair on his chin while he juggled bowling pins. Or maybe that’s just one of the acid flashbacks I was promised so many moons ago…”

“The Navy is offering transgender sailors and U.S. Marines voluntary honorable discharges in order to comply with new restrictions on gender identity, according to a memo released on Thursday. The memo, issued by Acting Navy Secretary Terence Emmert, gives those impacted until Mar. 28 to voluntarily accept the offer or face “involuntary separation.” The memo’s provisions cover Navy sailors, U.S. Marines, U.S. Naval Academy and Naval Reserve Officers Training Crops (NROTC) midshipmen.

“The Department of the Navy (DON) recognizes two sexes: male and female. An individual’s sex is immutable, unchanging during a person’s life,” the memo reads. “Individuals who have a current diagnosis or history of, or exhibit symptoms consistent with, gender dysphoria are no longer eligible for military service.”

The directive is the latest move to bring the armed forces in line with President Donald Trump’s executive order effectively banning transgender members from serving, with few exceptions in special circumstances. “The chief of naval operations and the commandant of the Marine Corps will maximize the use of all available command authorities to ensure impacted personnel are afforded dignity and respect,” the memo reads.

To be eligible for an accession waiver, or an attainment waiver, a service member must demonstrate they never attempted to change their sex. They also must be able to show “36 consecutive months of stability” with their biological sex and be able to adhere to “all applicable standards” which include the new regulations on transgenderism.

Estimates on the number of transgender service members vary, but a DOD report published in September 2022 estimated that 1.7% of active service members in 2021 were “gender minorities,” including 0.4% who identified as transgender.

The Army complied with Trump’s order Feb. 14 refusing transgender applicants and no longer supporting sex-changes. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said in a Feb. 7 memo that transgender individuals could not “satisfy the rigorous standards necessary for Military Service.”

Former President Joe Biden lifted Trump’s first ban on transgender service members in 2021. Over his four years in office, LGBT and transgender initiatives saw considerable growth in the armed services.

The Navy did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.”

“The Department of Education announced Friday it was opening investigations over 50 universities over alleged “race-exclusionary practices.”

Yale, Georgetown and the University of Michigan are among the universities under fire for hosting graduate programs partnered with “The Ph.D. Project,” an organization that limits eligibility based on race, according to a press release from the department. Other universities, such as the University of Alabama and the University of South Florida, are being investigated for allegedly issuing race-based scholarships and allowing other race-based segregation.

“The Department is working to reorient civil rights enforcement to ensure all students are protected from illegal discrimination,” Secretary of Education Linda McMahon said in a statement announcing the investigations. “The agency has already launched Title VI investigations into institutions where widespread antisemitic harassment has been reported and Title IX investigations into entities which allegedly continue to allow sex discrimination; today’s announcement expands our efforts to ensure universities are not discriminating against their students based on race and race stereotypes. Students must be assessed according to merit and accomplishment, not prejudged by the color of their skin. We will not yield on this commitment.”

The department sent a letter to institutions on Feb. 14 reminding them that they are bound by civil rights laws and could not host programs or have any policies discriminating on the basis of race.

The Department of Education under President Donald Trump and McMahon’s leadership has been cracking down on universities over noncompliance with civil rights laws, recently issuing massive federal funding cuts to Columbia University over its handling of anti-semitic protests and warning 60 other universities that they could be next if they fail to step in line.”

  27. she’s an idiot…listen to the women???? as long as they’re not crazy bitches…lol

    Nancy Pelosi

    @SpeakerPelosi

Donald Trump and Elon Musk have offered the Congress a false choice between a government shutdown or a blank check that makes a devastating assault on the well-being of working families across America.   Let’s be clear: neither is a good option for the American people. But this false choice that some are buying instead of fighting is unacceptable.   I salute Leader Hakeem Jeffries for his courageous rejection of this false choice, and I am proud of my colleagues in the House Democratic Caucus for their overwhelming vote against this bill. Democratic senators should listen to the women. Appropriations leaders Rosa DeLauro and Patty Murray have eloquently presented the case that we must have a better choice: a four-week funding extension to keep government open and negotiate a bipartisan agreement.   America has experienced a Trump shutdown before – but this damaging legislation only makes matters worse. Democrats must not buy into this false choice. We must fight back for a better way. Listen to the women, For The People.

  29. “Swiss politician was fined for buying pink water pistols online…Because authorities say the toys violated the country’s weapons law… LOL!

Marc Jaisli ordered two of these pink water pistols on Temu…

Prosecutors ordered him to pay a fine totaling 6,500 francs ($7,390) for a violation of weapons law, arguing that it applied even though the pistols were imitations “because they could be confused for real firearms due to their appearance” — despite the pink color.

  30. Well, we made it up to 74 before the skies started clouding up and the wind started rising. Not storm clouds, but it’s supposed to start as rain. Could be up to several inches out here, supposedly. Still, it’s nice enough to have the door open – I’ll enjoy it while I can!
