    1. Good morning, Pat! Same here – there were many times I had an hour commute thru my years of living in NOVA – it’s routine and very common. Pouring down rain here this morning w/temp @ 45 at the moment but it’s supposed to drop and turn to snow, w/possible blizzard conditions by mid-afternoon. Back to winter w/possibly up to 3″ of snow….but our Indian Summer should return next week. Third day I haven’t seen Wheezer again….

thankfully hubby parked the tractor under the deck last night because of the garage door and it wasn’t so bitterly cod overnight. he said we’re supposed to get high 40’s today so there may be more melting–which is great–but then freezing temps return which sucks. that might exacerbate the garage door situation again.

Another reason Zelensky cannot allow this war to end, is because he is covering up Deep State bioweapon development in Ukraine.

Elon already found the paper trail via USAID Project PREDICT, which means Trump knows also.

This is why Fauci and Hunter’s pardons begin in 2014.

This is why Zelensky ordered the destruction of all files associated with Hunter Biden’s biolab company, Metabiota.

This is why the media mercilessly attacks anyone who talks about the biolabs in Ukraine, to include RFK Jr. and Tulsi.

This is why Zelensky can’t surrender.

If this war ends, Putin and Russian MIL have been adamant that there must be a formal investigation into US/Ukrainian bioweapon development in Ukraine. This will surely be part of the negotiations between Trump and Putin. Putin wants justice for Covid, and he claims George Soros and his puppets are behind it all.

Some of Trump’s closest advisors and most important cabinet positions, Elon, Tulsi, and RFK Jr., have also echoed the importance of this exact situation.

Many keep asking about what we will find when we investigate where the money went in Ukraine. Eventually, we will end up at crimes against humanity.

  2. dems plan on disrupting…again.

    from Axios:

Democratic lawmakers are discussing a litany of options to protest at President Trump’s speech to Congress on Tuesday, including through outright disruption, a half dozen House Democrats told Axios.

Why it matters: Some of these tactics go beyond their leaders’ recommendation that members bring guests hurt by Trump and DOGE. This sets up a potential clash between party traditionalists and its more combative anti-Trump wing.

    • “The part that we all agree on is that this is not business as usual and we would like to find a way — productively — to express our outrage,” one House Democrat told Axios.
    • There is widespread disagreement among Democrats, both inside and outside of Congress, over what would be the most appropriate and effective form of demonstration.

What we’re hearing: Some members have told colleagues they may walk out of the chamber when Trump says specific lines they find objectionable, lawmakers told Axios.

    • Criticism of transgender kids was brought up as a line in the sand that could trigger members to storm out, according to a House Democrat.

A wide array of props — including noisemakers — has also been floated:

    • Signs with anti-Trump or anti-DOGE messages — just as Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) held up a sign during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech last year that said “war criminal.”
    • Eggs or empty egg cartons to highlight how inflation is driving up the price of eggs.
    • Pocket constitutions to make the case that Trump has been violating the Constitution by shutting down congressionally authorized agencies.
    • Hand clappers, red cards and various other props have also been discussed, multiple sources said.

The intrigue: In closed-door meetings and on the House floor Monday night, lawmakers were specifically discouraged from using props, two House Democrats told Axios.

    • These tactics are also a source of considerable internal debate among House Democratic rank-and-file — in large part based on what they’ve heard back in their districts.
    • “There are definitely a lot of constituents that really want Democrats to disrupt and there are … constituents who feel like that just plays into his hands,” one House Democrat told Axios.

Zoom out: Disruptions during joint session speeches used to provoke outrage, but have become increasingly common in recent years.

    • Rep. Joe Wilson’s (R-S.C.) outburst at former President Obama — ”you lie,” he shouted — was a shocking event in 2009.
    • Former President Biden was persistently heckled by Republicans during multiple State of the Union addresses.
    • Then there was the aforementioned disruption of Netanyahu’s speech by Tlaib.

Zoom in: Some groups of Democrats plan to mount more traditional protests through the use of color coordination in their wardrobe choices.

    • Pink: The Democratic Women’s Caucus wants all their members to wear pink in a unified display of defiance to a president many of them despise.
    • Black: Female members of the Congressional Black Caucus have separately discussed donning black to more accurately capture the party’s somber mood.
    • Blue and yellow: Ukraine Caucus co-chair Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio) will distribute ties and scarves withthe colors of Ukraine’s flag to signal support for President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Others plan to sit stone-faced and refuse to clap during the entire speech, another time-honored tactic for opposition party members to silently protest the president.

What they’re saying: House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) wrote in a letter to House Democrats that he and other leaders plan to attend the speech to “make clear to the nation that there is a strong opposition party ready, willing and able to serve as a check and balance.”

    • Jeffries also said leadership understands if some members skip the speech — as several have said they plan to do — but urged a “strong, determined and dignified Democratic presence in the chamber.”
    • House Democratic caucus chair Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.) told Axios leadership is telling members to “keep the focus on the health and safety and the economic wellbeing of our constituents.”

The bottom line: “Whether we are wearing pink, or black, or yellow and blue, we are all conveying our displeasure with this administration,” said. Rep. Stacey Plaskett (D-V.I.).

    • “What’s more important is our work together and the pressure for three Republicans to do the right thing for everyone,” she said.

A HUD spox responded to Maxine Waters with FIRE!

Per Fox News reporter Chad Pergram:

HUD spox on Dem CA Rep Waters protesting DOGE cuts at HUR today: The Department appreciates the Congresswoman’s interest in DOGE. While she has questions for the Department about how it is efficiently and effectively using taxpayer dollars, the Department also has questions for her, including:
•Is it true that members of her family profited from her position as an elected official? This was reported by the LA Times.
•Does she agree with Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics that she is one of the “most corrupt” Members of Congress? Does she think she deserved to win the award four times?
•Would she be open to leading by example and allowing DOGE to ensure that she is using taxpayer dollars responsibly to serve Californians? If not, what does she have to hide?
•Did she enjoy the 47-minute video of President Trump’s accomplishments playing in the lobby?

There is one case being heard at the U.S. Supreme Court today, the audio feed to listen will appear in the link shortly before it begins, at 10:00 a.m. east coast time:

    https://www.supremecourt.gov/

Smith & Wessen Brands vs Estados Unidos Mexicanos this is the one where the nation of Mexico is suing U.S. firearms manufacturers to hold them liable for the harms inflicted by Mexico’s drug cartels.

There are two questions before the court:

    1. Whether the production and sale of firearms in the U.S. is the “proximate cause” of alleged injuries to the Mexican government stemming from violence committed by Mexican drug cartels; and
    2. Whether the production and sale of firearms in the United States amounts to “aiding and abetting” illegal firearms trafficking because firearms companies allegedly know that some of their products are unlawfully trafficked.

  7. SALLY 🌷Q UPDATE!

Today is Mardi Gras! Tomorrow, Lent begins!

Born in New Orleans – family in NOLA and Thibodaux – Mardi Gras, carnivals Bourbon Street, bacchanalia and seeing adults out of control, under the influence of fleshly passions and chemical agents is repugnant to me. I do like traditional Mardi Gras pancakes, donuts, sweets. My grandmother made New Orleans style donuts frequently and cut them into little animals for us children. She used powdered sugar on some and cinnamon sugar on others, and left some plain. We loved them all.

My kinfolk in Louisiana and in Georgia were excellent cooks and I was blessed doubly with two kinds of Southern cooking!

I need Lent and to seek the LORD more deeply and intensely than ever this year. Sally Q is needing more pain medicine, doesn’t have much appetite, is having trouble with remembering to swallow. She may not be able to take pills or solid food much longer.

I’m going to make a quick trip home to pick up packages, drop my tax papers off, engage a yard service, and shop at Walmart and Publix. No more overnights in my near future, because Sally needs meds and checks of her blood glucose now during the night.

Sabrina, her other caregiver may be facing some serious health issues. She has an appointment at her gynecologist next Tuesday.

Because of this and Sally’s condition, I may not be able to go home at all in the future.

One good thing – Sally did not want to see the pierced, leftist, lesbian Hospice chaplain again…who told her she did not worship God or the devil, but somewhere in between. AND Sally does want to see the pastors who are conservatively, Biblically Christian.

Your prayers and encouragement, my times of worship are what is holding me up – worth more than gold.

    Gratefully – GA/FL

EXCERPT: “19-year-old Payton McNabb, who has spoken out about being left with a traumatic brain injury after a transgender-identifying man spiked a volleyball into her head, will be a special guest of President Donald Trump’s at his first joint address in front of Congress, the Daily Caller has learned.

McNabb has testified about how, when she was 17 years old, her high school girls volleyball team faced off against another team with a biological male on the roster. During the match, the biological male spiked a ball into McNabb’s head, leaving her unconscious for 30 seconds, she has shared. The incident severely injured McNabb who said she was left with a brain bleed, a traumatic brain injury, partial paralysis and loss of peripheral vision on her right side. The president plans to shout out McNabb on Tuesday during his speech while touting his recent executive order that prohibits biological men from women’s sports, a White House official told the Caller.

“I’m so incredibly thankful for the chance to be a part of such a historic event, and to have my story contribute to a larger conversation, and really just highlight how big this issue really is,” McNabb told the Caller about the opportunity to attend the joint address on Tuesday….”

  9. EXCERPT: “The Trump administration’s multi-agency task force to combat anti-Semitism is launching a review of Columbia University’s contracts and grants, citing the Ivy League institution’s “apparent failure” to protect Jewish students. It will probe more than $5 billion in federal funding commitments and could issue stop orders impacting more than $51 million in active contracts.

The Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Education, and the U.S. General Services Administration announced the move in a Monday night press release. It came almost immediately after Secretary of Education Linda McMahon’s confirmation.

“Americans have watched in horror for more than a year now, as Jewish students have been assaulted and harassed on elite university campuses. Unlawful encampments and demonstrations have completely paralyzed day-to-day campus operations, depriving Jewish students of learning opportunities to which they are entitled,” McMahon said in a statement.

“Institutions that receive federal funds have a responsibility to protect all students from discrimination. Columbia’s apparent failure to uphold their end of this basic agreement raises very serious questions about the institution’s fitness to continue doing business with the United States government.”

McMahon has said she “wholeheartedly” supports President Donald Trump’s call to close the Department of Education. In the meantime, however, she’s pledged to focus on tackling campus anti-Semitism and DEI initiatives. Before her confirmation, in late January, Trump directed all federal agencies “to combat the explosion of anti-Semitism on our campuses and in our streets since October 7, 2023.” The Justice Department launched an anti-Semitism task force to “root out anti-Semitic harassment in schools and on college campuses” shortly thereafter…..”

  10. Just The News: “Two House Republicans on Monday announced the creation of a judicial task force that will investigate “rogue, activist judges,” who have recently ruled against President Donald Trump in a series of legal cases.

Multiple federal judges have ruled against Trump in the past month, including one who blocked Trump’s executive order that limits transgender care for minors, and one who blocked his administration’s plan to reduce the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) by placing 2,200 employees on administrative leave.

The new task force, titled the “Judicial Activism Accountability Task Force,” will be led by Republican Reps. Andrew Clyde of Georgia and Eli Crane of Arizona.

“I’m excited to lead this critical effort with my friend and fellow patriot, Congressman Eli Crane,” Clyde told Fox News. “Our Judicial Activism Accountability Task Force aims to unite members in exposing judicial activism, with the ultimate goal of impeaching rogue, activist judges.”

Both Clyde and Crane announced last month that they were drafting articles of impeachment against “activist” judges.

“The American people delivered President Trump a mandate to disrupt the administrative state,” Crane told the outlet. “These judges are violating the will of the people, and Congress has constitutional authority to impeach and convict these partisans.”

Tennessee GOP Rep. Andy Ogles has also introduced articles of impeachment against judges.”

  11. Just The News: “(The Center Square) – California Gov. Gavin Newsome ordered state employees to return to the office four days a week by July 1, 2025, noting that state offices’ custodial, janitorial, and maintenance staff — and much of the public — are already working in person every day.

The governor also ordered the state’s human resources department to make it easier for the state to hire former federal employees who may have been impacted by recent federal cuts.

“Ongoing disparities around in-person work expectations across departments and within classifications for state employees raise issues of fundamental fairness, particularly for classifications of employees who must report in-person five days a week, including custodial and janitorial staff,” said Newsom in his order. “Increasing in-person work expectations for state employees will also promote trust with members of the public, many of whom must report to work in-person for their own jobs, that state government is working effectively for them.”

Newsom’s order says the state’s departments have more than 224,000 full-time state employees, who, according to the most recent state data available, make an average of $86,852 per year in wages, and another $40,138 per year in retirement and health benefits, or $126,990 per year.

This means the state spends $2.84 billion on wages and benefits for its full-time department staff.

Newsom also referenced recent jobs cuts by the Trump administration, ordering CalHR to take in former federal workers.

“To further enhance the state’s workforce needs, the Governor is also directing CalHR to streamline the hiring process for former federal employees seeking employment in key roles, including firefighting, forest management, and weather forecasting,” said Newsom’s office in a statement. “With federal workforce reductions, California is strategically recruiting experienced professionals to fill key job openings in firefighting, extreme weather forecasting, climate resilience, and water management roles — ensuring the state remains prepared for natural disasters and environmental challenges — in addition to other critical fields such as medical and mental health care.”

With the governor’s budget requesting a $7 billion withdrawal from reserves to fund the state’s proposed $322 billion budget, and volatile stocks making up a significant portion of the state’s projected revenue for the year, it’s unclear if the state can afford to hire more staff.

It’s also unclear what possible penalties for noncompliance with the order might be, and if the order could be a prelude to state layoffs. With a state report finding private sector employment started declining in 2022, only offset by substantial growth in government and government-adjacent hiring, decreases in government jobs could have a major effect on the state economy.”

“Look, I never had an ambition to be president or vice president,” Walz said during a radio interview with The New Yorker Radio Hour. “If I feel I can serve, I will. And if nationally, people are like, ‘Dude we tried you, and look how that worked out,’ I’m good with that.”

He said that if he felt he could offer something for the next presidential race he would consider running. Walz has already said he won’t run for Senate to replace Democratic Sen. Tina Smith who is retiring, according to The New York Post.

When Walz was asked about the 2024 Democratic presidential loss with him and former Vice President Kamala Harris on the ticket, he said it was a loss he would “take to his grave.”

If Walz gets re-elected as governor of MN, he would serve through 2031 and become the longest-serving chief executive in the history of Minnesota.”

  13. Vance Says US Working on Ukraine Plan ‘With the Russians’ After Trump Cuts Defense Aid to Kyiv

Vice President JD Vance on Monday said Trump administration officials are already in talks with Russia to end the years-long war Russia launched against Ukraine, and warned that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky needs to accept Donald Trump’s terms for a mineral rights deal and enter negotiations with Moscow.

Vance’s demand that Zelensky accept the U.S.-backed mineral rights deal follows the Ukrainian leader’s ejection Friday from the White House after an Oval Office shouting match with Vance and Trump. It also comes just hours after the Trump administration announced it was halting some defense aid to Kyiv at a crucial time in the war as Zelensky’s forces have fought to repel Russian invaders since 2022.

Speaking to Fox News host Sean Hannity, Vance said the idea of having American economic interests “on the ground” in Ukraine would provide a superior security guarantee to putting American or European troops on the ground to guarantee any future ceasefire with Moscow.

“If you want to actually ensure that Vladimir Putin does not invade Ukraine again, the very best security guarantee is to give Americans economic upside in the future of Ukraine,” he said. – The Independent

Our Take: Ukraine has been a keystone for the collectivist superstate’s globalist regime, acting as a hub for the cabal and a buffer to Russia. When a keystone is removed, the whole archway comes down.

The regime has lost the story of Ukraine, which means they’ve already lost the war.

Zelenskyy is the best accelerant at work in the War of Stories. As a direct result of his deployments, Trump has never had a stronger mandate to treat our supposed enemies, while the regime is totally exposed.

As Trump and Putin push for peace, they push for the other thing. – Burning Bright

  14. Education Department to Staffers: Quit by Monday and Get $25K in Cash

The Education Department is offering a buyout of up to $25,000 to most of its employees, according to a department-wide email obtained by POLITICO. Employees have until Monday at 11:59 p.m. to make a decision, Jacqueline Clay, a chief human capital officer, wrote in an email sent on Friday afternoon.

“This is a one time offer in advance of a very significant Reduction in Force for the US Department of Education,” Clay wrote. Those who take the offer can stack it with retirement benefits. They will receive the equivalence of severance pay or $25,000, whichever is less, Clay wrote in an email. The offer would take effect March 31.

Most department employees are eligible. A few exceptions include those that are using disability retirement, received a student loan repayment benefit in the last 36 months or was awarded a retention bonus in the last 12 months.
    – Politico

Our Take: This is a very generous offer from OPM for the unnecessary and soon to be terminated government employees in the Department of Education. And they should consider taking it because…Linda McMahon is now confirmed as Education Secretary!

In anticipation of McMahon’s first day on the job, OPM took steps to prepare the Department’s entitled twats for a major workforce reduction. It’s all happening! What a time to be alive! – Ashe in America

NB. To be fair, I’m sure there are good people somewhere in the Department. Then again, it’s undeniable that they allowed the blue haired communists and teachers’ unions to ruin the (illegitimate) institution. So it is what it is.

    ***

Another Take: Awesome news, now Linda can focus on dismantling and ultimately abolishing the Department of Education, and those responsibilities can be returned to local school boards and parents. Just make sure you film the perverts and bureaucrats seething when you tell them that the gravy train is over, so we can make memes of them crying.– GhostofBasedPatrickHenry

the recipe makes 12-15 donuts so i decided to give it a try. I haven’t tasted them yet–they’re still cooling but i am not impressed with the no-stick pans. maybe there’s a learning curve but just filling them was a mess. maybe if i try it again, i will use a decorator bag to pipe the batter into the donut shaped rounds.

'U.S. will walk': Mike Flynn says NATO 'a thing of the past' as he calls to embrace Putin

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn called NATO “a thing of the past” and suggested the United States should walk away from the military alliance as President Trump pulls Russian President Vladimir Putin closer.

During a Monday interview with Real America’s Voice, Flynn argued to Eric Bolling that Putin would use nuclear force against Europe “if Russia feels threatened, you know, on their sovereign territory. And if Europe all of a sudden starts to do things that look as though they’re going to take on his sovereignty, I mean, I’m just telling you that really, really dangerous times, and this is why we need, you know, cool heads to prevail,” he said.

“Should we basically exit NATO?” Bolling wondered.

“Yeah, I think what Trump needs to do is he needs to put on the table that the United States will walk away from NATO if the Europeans don’t understand what is at stake here,” Flynn replied. “You know, maybe the usefulness and the utility of NATO has, you know, sort of spent its full amount of whatever, energy, right, I mean, at this point in time, but NATO may be a thing of the past, and there may be—may need to be a new security architecture.”

Trump’s former national security advisor also argued that the current president should have a closer relationship with Putin.

“It needs to be very professional,” he remarked. “We’re talking about two of the largest nuclear weapons holders on the planet, two great nations, you know, historically, culturally, and I think that what he’s going to have to do, as he’s done, you know, Joe Biden never called Putin once, not once.”

“At least Trump needs to open up that relationship by talking, you know, when you’re—at least when you’re talking, you can talk about how do we achieve peace,” Flynn added. “You know, we have to fight for peace as hard as we have to fight in war, and that is what President Donald J. Trump is trying to do.”

Trump has reportedly tried to find a place for Flynn in his new administration. Watch the video below from Real America’s Voice.”

  18. Just The News: “Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday issued a public statement expressing gratitude for the American contribution to their defense and expressing a desire to mend fences with President Donald Trump after a dustup at a Friday meeting derailed a planned mineral deal.

“We do really value how much America has done to help Ukraine maintain its sovereignty and independence. And we remember the moment when things changed when President Trump provided Ukraine with Javelins. We are grateful for this,” he said. “Our meeting in Washington, at the White House on Friday, did not go the way it was supposed to be. It is regrettable that it happened this way. It is time to make things right. We would like future cooperation and communication to be constructive.”

He further expressed Ukraine’s willingness to sign the mineral agreement “any time and in any convenient format.”

Zelensky’s statement follows the United States on Monday evening pausing all military aid to Ukraine. Trump, after the Friday meeting asked Zelensky to return when he was “ready for peace.”

EXCERPT: “In classic Oscars style, a movie that no one has ever heard of, only grossing $41M in the box office, took home Best Picture. That movie is Anora, a film about a sex worker who marries a Russian oligarch.

“Am I the only one who has never heard of the movie Anora that won the Oscar for Best Picture last night?” (Video)

    https://x.com/LangmanVince/status/1896517072752189709

No sir … no you are not. To put it bluntly, it’s pretty much a porno with a half-baked storyline about a stripper and her whirlwind romance with a rich mobster. Think 50 Shades of Grey, only more violence and DEI.

“I watched Anora early this morning after I learned it won Best Picture. It’s all profanity, nudity, sex, alcohol and drugs. There’s no character development. No one is likable. The script is just a retelling of an infamous strip club story.”

And yes, as expected the DEI quotas are off the charts, banning movies that don’t fit these woke qualifications:

“Films are literally banned from winning Best Picture at the Oscars unless it is filled with diversity, equity, inclusion”

    https://x.com/EndWokeness/status/1896393112504934681

For the parents out there (or anyone who doesn’t want to their mind rotted), it’s rated R for “strong sexual content throughout, graphic nudity, pervasive language, and drug use” — so it’s not exactly a subtle affair.

Here’s how the Christian review website Geeks Under Grace put it:

So, what is the goal of Anora? Unfortunately, I can’t define the opening scene of the film as anything other than pornographic. I can’t with good conscience defend it, and I don’t use the term ‘pornographic’ lightly. For me to define it as such, a number of criteria need to be met: it needs to contain sexually explicit content, its purpose is to arouse the audience, and there is an element of degradation of the person committing the act, as though they are nothing more than a void for the viewer’s fantasies.

Geeks Under Grace says it is “a painful exploration of the concept of love being transactional, like the bleak cousin of Pretty Woman”; unfortunately, the spiritual themes of marriage, sexuality, and meaning are lost in scene after scene that are meant to arouse lust in the viewer….”

  21. “Special Investigation: Govt. deception over thimerosal in vaccines linked to neurodevelopmental harm in children — A decades-long coverup”

    Sharyl Attkisson, Mar 04, 2025

    Share

    EXCERPT:

    • Thimerosal was not removed from all vaccines, or “all vaccines given to children,” at any point since 1997, 1999, 2001, or any other date that health authorities commonly claim.

    Key points:

    • The government has long insisted there are no risks with thimerosal, a mercury-based chemical, used in some childhood vaccines in the 1980s and 1990s, and still an ingredient in some shots today.
    • Numerous studies and scientists have found a heightened risk of brain disorders, including autism, in children who get vaccines with thimerosal.
    • When autism and other neurological developmental disorders spiked in the late 90s and early 2000s, the government claimed that thimerosal was taken out of all vaccines that children get in 1999 (or 1997, or 2001, depending on the reference). However, that’s untrue.
    • There’s been a concerted propaganda campaign to mislead the public on scientific links between thimerosal and autism, as well as other neurodevelopmental disorders.

It’s important to note that among scientists who have found thimerosal is implicated in autism, thimerosal is not said to be the only factor in the autism or neurodevelopmental disorder epidemics. Numerous studies have found genetic susceptibilities can play a role in making a child more vulnerable to vaccine injury. Various studies also implicate additional environmental exposures such as chemicals in our food, water, and medicine.

    This investigation will:

    • Show proof that thimerosal was never removed from all vaccines as the government and other health authorities claimed
    • Provide the scientific background, timeline, and basis for thimerosal safety concerns
    • Expose a propaganda campaign and decades-long coverup of scientific information, from the infamous Simpsonwood meeting to the controversial Verstraeten study.

For years the propaganda press has tried to dismiss concerns about legitimate fraud associated with mail-in ballots.

“Yes, voter fraud happens,” The Associated Press’ Ali Swenson wrote in October. “But it’s rare and election offices have safeguards to catch it.” A few weeks later, The Associated Press released a video entitled “Why voter fraud isn’t really a problem in U.S. elections,” with a subhead claiming there are “many safeguards to detect it.”

Meanwhile, CNN posted a video entitled “Trump stokes fear over voter fraud in Pennsylvania. CNN fact-checks his claims.” Notably, the subhead for the video acknowledged that officials identified “incidents of suspected voter registration fraud.”

But the thing that “rarely” happens happened again (and no, Ms. Swenson, none of the “safeguards” worked).

Pennsylvania’s vulnerable online voter registration system allowed three Democrats to try and “steal the 2021” general election for the Mayor of Millbourne after they gamed the online voter portal to fraudulently register nearly three dozen non-residents.

Mohammed Nurul Hasan, Mohammed Munsur Ali and Mohammed Rafikul Islam allegedly conspired with each other and “persons known and unknown to the grand jury to steal the 2021 general election for Mayor of Millbourne” for Hasan by using the state’s online voter registration portal to “change the voter registration addresses” for non-Millbourne residents to “locations within Millbourne,” according to a grand jury indictment.

The defendants then allegedly used the portal to request mail-in ballots for the non-Millbourne residents, illegally filled the ballots out on their behalf, and submitted the ballots to the county board of elections. The voters were allegedly informed by Hasan and Ali that “they would not get in trouble as long as they did not vote in another election in November 2021,” according to the indictment.

Hasan ultimately lost the election 165 to 138, according to the indictment.

So how was it done? Hasan, Ali and Islam simply used the state’s online voter registration (PAOVR) website.

At the time of the May 18, 2021 primary, there were “approximately 549 registered voters in Millbourne,” according to the indictment. Less than six months later, by the time the general election was held, there were 578 registered voters. According to the indictment, “most of the additional registered voters were people who did not live in Millbourne and had previously been registered to vote in locations outside of Millbourne, but whose voter registration addresses had been changed to Millbourne addresses by someone accessing the PAOVR website.”

“Any person who accessed the PAOVR website could either submit a new voter registration application or edit an existing voter’s registration information as long as the person knew certain personal identification information about the voter,” the indictment states. “A person who provided such information about a voter on the PAOVR website could change the voter’s name, address, and/or party affiliation, and/or request a mail-in or absentee ballot.”

“If the person accessing the PAOVR website requested a mail-in or absentee ballot for the voter, such a person could ask for the ballot to be mailed to any address in the world,” according to the indictment.

Hasan, Ali, and Islam were each charged with conspiracy, false information in registering, and fraudulent voter registration.

Despite claims of robust “safeguards,” the reality is that the system allowed three individuals to exploit its weaknesses and engage in fraudulent activity, undermining the integrity of the 2021 mayoral election. The fact that such manipulation was even possible raises serious concerns about the state’s online voting infrastructure and underscores the dangers of mass mail-in balloting.

  23. “CO of Alaska’s Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Makes ‘Land Acknowledgment’ Claim That’s Just Plain Wrong”

Red State, By Ward Clark | 4:40 PM on March 03, 2025

    MICHAEL DINNEEN

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has another name to add to his “Woke Military Officers We Don’t Need” list, and she’s right here in Alaska: Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) commander, Air Force Colonel Lisa Mabbutt. The colonel started off her statement to a legislative committee in Juneau with an idiotic “land acknowledgment,” stating that JBER was built on land belonging to the Dena’ina tribe.

There’s just one problem. She’s wrong. Must Read Alaska‘s Suzanne Downing has the details.

Colonel Lisa Mabbutt, the commander of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) and the 673d Air Base Wing since July of 2024, told a legislative committee in Juneau last week that the base occupies Dena’ina land.

Mabbutt was speaking to the House Military and Veterans’ Affairs Special Committee when she made a “land acknowledgment,” statement, both verbally and printed on her presentation.

Mabbutt was speaking on behalf of the US government when she essentially said that the government base occupies Native land.

Speaking as the commander of a major Army and Air Force installation in one of the most strategic locations on the planet — remember, none other than General Billy Mitchell described Alaska as the “most strategic location in the world,” and that still applies — and she starts out her testimony with a spew of woke nonsense — and she’s not even correct.

JBER is not on Native land. The Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act finalized an agreement about what land is “Native” in Alaska, and those lands do not include JBER’s 64,213 acres. The largest land claims settlement act in world history, it resolved land claims and economic development issues for Alaska Natives.

This, alone, would seem to make Colonel Mabbutt the target of a narrowed gaze from the Secretary of Defense and, indeed, the president, both of whom seem determined to root out woke nonsense from the DoD. Colonel Mabbutt wasn’t done yet.

In her presentation, Mabbutt also made a pitch for the Legislature to increase the base student allocation for school funding, one of the hottest issues in the legislative session. This could be seen as a violation of the Hatch Act, because she used her official position to try to influence funding legislation.

Could be seen? She was using her official position, appearing in uniform, to try to influence a matter for the civilian state legislature. But it gets worse:

During her presentation, she was asked by Reps. Jamie Allard and Dan Saddler about the large encampments on the base land known as Davis Park and also Arctic Valley. Mabbutt said JBER has some kind of agreement with the Municipality and indicated that the homeless occupying the base (which she believes occupies Native land) is not a security threat.

JBER is home to, among other units, the 525th Fighter Squadron, which flies the advanced and largely classified F-22 Raptor — and Colonel Mabbutt is allowing a homeless encampment to occupy part of this base? Forget the chances of the typically trash-strewn encampments attracting bears, which is a very real problem in the Anchorage area, but it places a large body of people, many of whom have mental health and substance abuse issues, on the same piece of land that is home to a squadron of America’s most advanced warbird.

    What could possibly go wrong?

This officer should not be in command of a major military installation. Based on her demonstrated judgment, especially where the homeless encampment is involved, she shouldn’t be in command of a latrine detail. This is precisely the kind of woke garbage that should be eliminated from our armed forces; it contributes nothing to the armed forces’ primary purpose of finding bad buys and revoking their birth certificates.

    And, of course:

Although Mabbutt does not list her pronouns on her official military biography, she lists herself as a “she/her” on her LinkedIn bio.

    You don’t say.”

“SecDef Pete Hegseth Restores Fort Benning’s Name – After a Different Benning”

Red State, By Ward Clark | 6:15 PM on March 03, 2025

    AP Photo/Andres Leighton

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “The renaming continues: Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has been reversing the renaming of some significant military installations. Sort of. In February, he changed the name of “Fort Liberty,” North Carolina, back to Fort Bragg. Now he’s changed the name of “Fort Moore,” Georgia, back to Fort Benning.

There’s a catch: It’s not the same Benning. The post has been renamed, not after Confederate General Henry Benning, but after a Great War Army veteran, Corporal Fred Benning.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth signed a memorandum today directing Fort Moore, Georgia, to be renamed Fort Benning.

The installation will now be renamed in honor of Army Cpl. Fred G. Benning, who “served with extraordinary heroism during World War I with the United States Army, and in recognition of the installation’s storied history of service to the United States of America,” the memo reads.

Originally established and named Camp Benning in October 1918 after Civil War-era Confederate Gen. Henry L. Benning, the installation kept Benning’s name until being renamed Fort Moore — after Army Lt. Gen Hal Moore and his wife, Julia Compton Moore — in May 2023.

SecDef did the same thing in renaming Fort Liberty back to Fort Bragg, as my friend and fellow Infantry vet, streiff, noted:

    Streiff writes:

On the one hand, I applaud the effort by Hegseth to undo the immense damage done to our Armed Forces by Lloyd Austin and the race-baiters and nincompoops he selected to lead the Defense Department. On the other hand, it was too cute by half.

There are a couple of angles to consider here. On the one hand, on the surface, this is mildly amusing, in an “I see what you did there” kind of way. Pete Hegseth is restoring the proud old names of those posts while forestalling the finger-pointing and shrieking by the left: “OMG RACISM SLAVERY ARGLE BARGLE!” We can almost see the knowing wink in Mr. Hegseth’s eye as he signs this order.

On the other hand, as streiff points out, it’s just a little too clever. The exercise would have been more effective if he had restored the original names in full and ignored the whining. That’s indisputable. But this also could have launched a renaming war, in which major Army posts were renamed with each new presidential administration, which has the potential to get ridiculous very quickly.

I would have preferred to see the original names restored in full. But the left’s anger doesn’t have a place to perch now; these two posts have been renamed, technically, to honor two Army heroes, one from the Great War, another from World War 2. That slams the door shut on this issue. And, candidly, SecDef has a lot on his plate.

Stamping out political correctness and woke horse squeeze in the military is an essential exercise, and any such fixes have to be permanent — or as near as we can make them. The way Pete Hegseth chose to divide the baby here is distasteful to many (like me), but it’s done, and now he can get on with more important work.

And, yes, there will be some expressions of frustration among the woke left. And that is chuckle-inducing, regardless of the source of their unsettlement.”

  25. EXCERPT: “Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau slammed the Trump administration’s new 25% tariffs Tuesday, calling the measures “very dumb” and vowing that his country “will not back down from a fight.”

Trudeau previously announced 25% retaliatory tariffs on American goods in response to President Donald Trump’s tariffs that went into effect on Canadian imports. Trump responded Tuesday by saying that “please explain to Governor Trudeau, of Canada, that when he puts on a Retaliatory Tariff on the U.S., our Reciprocal Tariff will immediately increase by a like amount!”

“So today the United States launched a trade war against Canada, their closest partner and ally, their closest friend. At the same time, they are talking about working positively with Russia, appeasing Vladimir Putin, a lying, murderous dictator. Make that make sense,” Trudeau told reporters.

“Canadians are reasonable, and we are polite, but we will not back down from a fight, not when our country and the wellbeing of everyone in it is at stake,” he continued.

“I want to speak directly to one specific American, Donald. In the over eight years you and I have worked together, we’ve done big things,” Trudeau also said. “And now we should be working together to ensure even greater prosperity for North Americans in a very uncertain and challenging world. Now, it’s not in my habit to agree with the Wall Street Journal. But Donald, they point out that even though you’re a very smart guy, this is a very dumb thing to do. We — two friends fighting — is exactly what our opponents around the world want to see.”

Trump signed an executive order authorizing an additional 25% tariff on imports from Canada and Mexico, and an additional 10% tariff on Chinese imports. Energy imported from Canada, including oil, natural gas and electricity, would be taxed at an additional 10%.

The retaliatory tariffs Canada is imposing on $155 billion of U.S. goods went into effect this morning. Canada said it will start with tariffs on $30 billion worth of American goods, followed by tariffs on $125 billion of American products in 21 days.

“Our tariffs will remain in place until the U.S. tariffs are withdrawn and not a moment sooner,” Trudeau said…..”

  26. EXCERPT: “FIRST ON FOX: A group of conservative lawmakers in the House and Senate is warning Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., against agreeing to restrict the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in a spending bill as the government shutdown deadline of March 14 inches closer.

The sometimes-resistant batch of Republicans is also committing to backing a clean stopgap bill for the rest of the fiscal year to avoid a shutdown, which they’ve opposed in the past.

“[W]e are deeply concerned about recent reports of Democrats’ demands for a government funding agreement that would perpetuate the unsustainable status quo of wasteful spending,” Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., and House Freedom Caucus Chairman Andy Harris, R-Md., joined by several others, wrote to the congressional leaders.

The group of signers included several fiscal hawks in the House and Senate, many of whom have opposed stopgap spending bills on principle, preferring full-year appropriations bills.

“Any attempt to use government funding legislation to dilute the President’s constitutional authority to save taxpayer dollars must be rejected outright,” the lawmakers wrote.

In this circumstance, the group of Congressional conservatives said they’re willing to back a “clean” continuing resolution, or short-term spending bill, that lasts the rest of the year, for the sake of avoiding a government shutdown. But they also made it very clear to Johnson and Thune: Don’t let Democrats restrict DOGE in the spending bill.

The correspondence was co-signed by 19 other Republicans: Sens. Mike Lee, R-Utah, Ron Johnson, R-Wis., Cynthia Lummis, R-Wyo., Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., Ted Budd, R-N.C., and Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, and Reps. 28. Prison strikes in New York State…Since February 17…

Are prison staff allowed to do that? No, they are not allowed to. They just do it anyway. The state has already set up various threats, but so far without success.

    From the article:

“Starting this Saturday – just last – sanctions have been announced for prison officers who go on strike during working hours, which will result in dismissal, loss of pension and nursing care insurance and potential detention from Monday (i.e. the dismissal papers will then be delivered on Monday, but will refer to participation in the strike during working hours from Saturday onwards.

So widespread, with 90% of the prison staff, that the inmates are locked up and the National Guard has now been called in to provide personnel relief.

Yes, but what are they demanding? Among other things, fewer 24-hour shifts, more staff, etc. and, most importantly, the repeal of the HALT Act. This is only a few years old and stipulates that inmates can be put in solitary confinement for a maximum of 15 hours at a time. HALT endangers the safety of prison officers because they no longer have any means of controlling inmates…..”

SO, they are all in favor of mandating that everyone drive electrics, but to protest Musk spearheading an operation to eliminate waste, fraud and abuse, they set fire to these charging stations, without which the cars are worthless lawn ornaments, which is kinda a point electric car detractors have been making, all along.

After Trump yanked all weapons and aid to Ukraine last night, Zelensky is now ready to come to the negotiating table and willing to sign the minerals deal and make peace.

Trump is expected to make the announcement in his address to Congress tonight!

Obviously we will need to wait and see the details of the deal, and wait for everything to be signed officially, but it appears that Trump’s hardball tactics forced Zelensky to submit in less than 24 hours.”
