As promised, since this is the beginning of Christman cookie season, I am bringing some of my favorite cookie recipes this month. First up? Pecan Tassies.

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup all-purpose flour
FILLING:
1 large egg, room temperature
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dash salt
2/3 cup finely chopped pecans, divided
Directions
In a small bowl, beat butter and cream cheese until smooth; gradually beat in flour. Refrigerate, covered, 1 hour or until firm enough to roll. *
Preheat oven to 375°. Shape dough into 1-in. balls; press evenly onto bottoms and up sides of 24 greased mini tart pans or mini muffin cups.
For filling, in a small bowl, mix egg, brown sugar, butter, vanilla and salt until blended. Stir in 1/3 cup pecans; spoon into cups. Sprinkle with remaining 1/3 cup pecans.
Bake 15-20 minutes or until edges are golden and filling is puffed. Cool in pans 2 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool.
- Pat’s note: At this point, I roll out the dough and use a flower shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes. These I then ease into the mini muffin pans. It gives the tassies a nicer scalloped edge.

ENJOY!
Morning All!
when we drove out yesterday to get the mail, we noticed the vacant house (where Bob our old neighbor used to live) had 5 trucks parked in the driveway–we have hunters coming out of the woodwork! and my bil is up–he brought his camper up the day after Thanksgiving. sigh. we hadn’t seen a deer in days, but yesterday afternoon, the doe were running down the mountain. too early for most of these guys to take a doe…lol. they’re looking for the big bucks…but i’m guessing those boys are no fools. they’re laying low around our house. we might see them today.

BREAKING: Sheriff Richard Jones of Butler County just announced that President Trump will grant Sheriffs the power to raid workplaces to arrest & deport illegal migrant workers.
“We’re getting geared up. We’re making jail space available.”
President Trump & Tom Homan really gamed this out. Mass deportations wasn’t just another talking point. It was being meticulously planned.

🇺🇸🇵🇰 NYC IS PAYING PAKISTAN TO HOUSE MIGRANTS IN MANHATTAN
Pakistan’s cash-strapped government has found a financial boost from Manhattan real estate.
New York City is renting the iconic Roosevelt Hotel—owned by Pakistan’s government—to house migrants, in a deal worth $220 million.
Vivek criticized the arrangement, highlighting an issue that @DOGE may need to address soon.
Vivek:
“A taxpayer-funded hotel for illegal migrants is owned by the Pakistani government which means NYC taxpayers are effectively paying a foreign government to house illegals in our own country.

“The Wars to Come: The Rapid, Rocky Road to the Golden Age”
Burning Bright, Dec 01, 2024
EXCERPT: “In my most recent features at Burning Bright, I’ve spent some time digging into the story that is Trump 2.0, and by that I mean, the ‘Appointment Viewing’ represented by the enemy’s near-immediate capitulation to the advent of the second public admin, followed by the highly entertaining, highly confusing, highly encouraging moves being made in the public assembly of said admin, which I explored at length in ‘The A-Team.’
In the end, while the rug pulls will only accelerate from this point forward, when you rewire your brain to anticipate chaos as a GOOD thing for the Infinite Player on the game board, you not only learn to weather the storm, but embrace it as the winds pick up, and the tide rolls out.
Donald Trump is putting a team together, and yes, it’s a mix of real, fake and everything in between.
Remember, we’re not watching the formation of the most powerful governmental administration of all time. Instead, we’re watching the beginnings of the story that’s going to return power back to we, the people.
And remember also that whatever surprises lurk in those particular storm winds are far more likely to blow our enemy off course than our nationalist, moralist movement, whose first principles ARE first principles incarnate, so long as we remember our private oaths, or make a few as the calendar preps for a turn into the beginnings of the American Golden Age.
And so, if the aforementioned features cover the story of the team and agenda being assembled ahead of Trump 2.0, what battles are we as a movement—and Trump as our proxy—preparing to fight as the war for the future of the nation doesn’t take a breather, but rather a final breath before the plunge?
From where I’m standing, the first battle that kicked off Trump’s public war on the Deep State is also the one we’re closest to winning in some form of permanence, and that is the war on the storytellers themselves, aka. the media.
War on the Media Industrial Complex…..”

“A mansion in a high-end Connecticut neighborhood met a fiery demise on Thanksgiving when the home was inundated in flames from a turkey frying inside a garage.
Heart-pounding images captured the raging inferno surrounding the Weston home just after 3:40 p.m. on Thursday as firefighters rushed to contain the fire. Firefighters were alerted to the blaze by an automatic fire alarm on Weston Road before several 911 calls were made about a garage fire.
“When we arrived, the whole garage end of the house was on fire – like a third of the house,” Weston Volunteer Fire Department Chief John Pokorny told CT Insider. The fast-spreading flames ignited in the garage before accelerating into the rest of the home.
Every year some jerkoff somewhere burns his house down doing this. My next door neighbor in New Jersey burned his detached garage to the ground doing the same thing back in ’87.”

“This asshole lives a couple blocks away from me and he’s been parading around the neighborhood like this for the better part of the last seven years. He’s gotten his ass kicked a buncha times, been locked up a coupla times, had his golf cart garage torched a couple years ago, and has been run off the road countless times. I’ve tried falling asleep at the wheel of my pickup when I see him coming down the block, but he always manages to swerve out of my way. He honestly doesn’t look nearly as crazy as he actually is. Amazing dude…”

“Colorado State University volleyball players take a knee during the National Anthem.
One of the players is Malaya Jones, the individual accused of conspiring with SJSU transgender player Blaire Fleming to injure SJSU co-captain, Brooke Slusser.”
https://x.com/TPostMillennial/status/1862950551241302435
EXCERPT: “The Colorado State women’s college volleyball player who is accused of conspiring with trans-identified male athlete Blaire Flemming to hurt a teammate was seen kneeling during the national anthem ahead of the Mountain West volleyball championship.
San Jose State, whose roster includes Blair Fleming, a biological male identifying as female, advanced to the championship after Boise State forfeited their semifinal match. Fleming’s inclusion on San Jose State’s team has sparked debates about fairness, with several schools opting to forfeit matches rather than compete throughout the season.
The controversy escalated Friday when Colorado State’s Malaya Jones, recently named Mountain West Player of the Year, knelt during the national anthem alongside several teammates before their semifinal victory over San Diego State. Jones has faced backlash for her protest, which comes amid allegations she conspired with Fleming to harm San Jose State women’s volleyball player, Brooke Slusser earlier this season….”

my grandmother made it all the time. leftover mashed potatoes, powdered sugar, a little flour makes the white “dough”. you spread that out with your floured hands and then spread peanut butter over it. roll it up like a jelly roll and cut it into pieces.

“Massad is an accomplished lawyer and a highly respected leader in the business world, with extensive experience on the International scene,” Trump, 78, wrote on Truth Social.
“He has been a longtime proponent of Republican and Conservative values, an asset to my Campaign, and was instrumental in building tremendous new coalitions with the Arab American Community,” he added.
Boulos, who was born in Lebanon, has a net worth estimated in the billions of dollars, according to the New York Post. He runs Nigeria-based Boulos Enterprises, a company that produces and distributes mechanical equipment and motorcycles.

Just The News: “With just weeks before federal judges in Delaware and California are set to sentence Hunter Biden, his legal team is publicly launching a defense of the president’s son as the clock ticks down on President Joe Biden’s opportunity to pardon him, though he previously ruled that out.
On Saturday Hunter’s legal team released a 52-page paper titled, “The political prosecutions of Hunter Biden,” reported The Washington Post. In it they criticize the basis of the investigations into their client and argue that he was prosecuted for crimes that people who weren’t the son of a president would not have been charged for.
The document, in parts, seems aimed directly at President Biden, according to The Post. The two have been together in Nantucket for Thanksgiving over the past several days.
“With the election now decided, the threat against Hunter is real,” they argue, suggesting ironically that Donald Trump is a threat to go after his political foes, something that has been a hallmark of the Biden administration, most notably, their pursuit of Donald Trump.
“This is a seven-year saga propelled by an unrelenting political desire to use a son to hurt his father,” said Abbe Lowell, one of Hunter’s leading attorneys.
“It is a wild and terrifying story that serves as a stark warning of what is to come as some of the same Republicans who targeted Hunter prepare to resume power and have stated their intention to use the government’s vast power to pursue their perceived enemies,” Lowell claimed.
Hunter surprisingly pleaded guilty in September to nine counts of tax evasion for a total of $1.4 million, on the day that the jury was to be selected for his trial. The judge in that case said Hunter could face up to 17 years in prison and $1.3 million in fines, according to the New York Post.
In June, a jury found Hunter guilty of three counts related to possession of a firearm while addicted to illegal drugs. He faces sentencing for the gun case Dec. 12 and for the tax case Dec. 16.”

i think he purposefully plead guilty SO his father could pardon him. if there was a jury and a trial, he may not be found guilty before his father left the WH and there’s no way PDJT pardons him.

If you wanted Trump to come and go as 47th President and leave elections alone it would have been wise to grab up what you could in the first 18 hours of vote counting and let him take office with how the chips fell. Instead, you dumbasses counted through Thanksgiving, shaved God knows how many House and Senate seats, and ran the nonsense “mandate” narrative as your utopias belched our ballots found in the mail for weeks. Speaking of “mandates” – you will not enjoy the reform you have brought upon yourselves that will bring this house of corruption burning to the ground because you got too greedy. I intend to help light the match.
