With Thanksgiving soon upon us, I thought a recipe on what to do with the turkey carcass might be appropriate—Turkey Carcass Soup!

Ingredients
1 turkey carcass, from roasted turkey, extra meat removed
2 carrots, peeled, finely chopped
2 stalks celery, finely chopped
2 cups cooked turkey meat, shredded
3 sprigs fresh thyme
1 dried bay leaf
8 oz. egg noodles
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
2 Tbsp. fresh dill, chopped
Directions
Place turkey carcass in a large pot. Cover with cold water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 2 hours.
Strain and reserve stock (and excess turkey meat, if desired). Return stock to pot and bring to a simmer (you should have about 6 c. stock).
Add carrots, celery, turkey meat, thyme, and bay leaf. Cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are just tender, about 12 minutes.
Add egg noodles and cook until al dente according to package directions; season with salt and pepper. Top with dill.

Enjoy!

OK – right in line with RFKJ:
EXCERPT: “President-elect Donald Trump has tapped former Florida Rep. Dave Weldon, a physician and vaccine safety skeptic, to lead the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
While in Congress, Weldon introduced legislation to move oversight of vaccine safety from the CDC to an independent agency within HHS. He has also repeatedly voiced serious reservations about the independence of the federal government’s vaccine safety review process, and previously suggested that a mercury-based preservative once commonly used in vaccines, thimerosal, is linked to a rise in autism.
“Federal agencies charged with overseeing vaccine safety research have failed. They have failed to provide sufficient resources for vaccine safety research. They have failed to adequately fund extramural research. And, they have failed to free themselves from conflicts of interest that serve to undermine public confidence in the safety of vaccines,” Weldon said in a statement at the time.
Weldon, who served in Congress for nearly two decades, has also raised concerns about the safety of the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine and Gardasil, the vaccine that girds against the papillomavirus virus, which can lead to cervical cancer….”

“Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Trump’s pick for Health and Human Services secretary, has cited Weldon’s advocacy in his own arguments against the CDC, which he has referred to as a “subsidiary of the pharmaceutical industry.”
“Congressman Dave Weldon has pointed out that the primary metric for success across the CDC is how many vaccines the agency sells and how successfully the agency expands its vaccine program — regardless of any negative effects on human health,” Kennedy said, in an interview posted on the website of Children’s Health Defense, the anti-vaccine organization founded by Kennedy. “Weldon exposed how the Immunization Safety Office, which is supposed to ensure vaccine efficacy and safety, has become subsumed in that metric.”

Just The News: “Iowa’s Republican Sen. Joni Ernst was tapped on Friday to lead the Senate’s new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) caucus, which is expected to coordinate with Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy reduce federal spending.
President-elect Donald Trump announced the formation of DOGE earlier this month and gave Musk and Ramaswamy the sweeping mission to “dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies.”
Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene will lead the House’s counterpart, which is a subcommittee of the House Oversight Committee.
“The tables are finally turning, the knives are out, and waste is on the chopping block,” Ernst said in a statement reported by Politico. “The Senate DOGE Caucus is ready to carry out critical oversight in Congress and use our legislative force to fight against the entrenched bureaucracy, trim the fat, and get Washington back to work for Americans.”
Ernst reportedly met with Ramaswamy at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday night to discuss the new caucus.
Other members of the new caucus include Republican Sens. Ted Budd of North Carolina, Rick Scott of Florida, John Cornyn of Texas, Roger Marshall of Kansas, James Lankford of Oklahoma, and Mike Lee of Utah.
“We look forward to partnering with the Senate to downsize government. Grateful to Sen. Joni Ernst for her excellent suggestions yesterday!” Ramaswamy posted to X on Friday.”

Same thing the highway patrol does on the interstates!!! It’s BS!!!
EXCERPTS: “The U.S. Department of Justice told the Drug Enforcement Administration to suspend consensual searches at airports and other mass transit facilities after hearing about potential civil rights violations.
Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz announced the suspension after hearing concerns about in the DEA’s transportation interdiction efforts, which include conducting consensual searches. During such searches, the DEA Task Force Groups approach people at airports, ask for consent to speak with the person and, if the Special Agents or Task Force Officers think it warranted, ask for consent to search the individual’s belongings….”
“…Horowitz said the DEA wasn’t complying with its own policy to document each consensual encounter despite the agency having promised to do so in 2015. The Office of Inspector General’s office also said the DEA had suspended its transportation interdiction training in 2023. Such training is required by DEA policy and has not restarted, according to the memo.
The alert came after a search earlier this year involving a traveler who was approached for a consensual encounter by a DEA Task Force Officer while boarding a flight.
After the traveler declined to provide consent for a search, the DEA Task Force Officer detained the traveler’s carry-on bag. Then a drug detection dog alerted to the bag. The passenger eventually signed a consent form. No cash, drugs or other contraband was found. By that time, the traveler had missed the original flight. The traveler documented the incident and later made an edited version public.
Horowitz’s office also learned that the DEA Task Force Group selected the passenger based on information from a confidential DEA source, who was an employee of a commercial airline. The employee tipped off the DEA about travelers who had bought tickets within 48 hours of travel.
“The OIG learned that the DEA had been paying this employee a percentage of forfeited cash seized by the DEA office from passengers at the local airport when the seizure resulted from information the employee had provided to the DEA,” according to the memo. “The employee had received tens of thousands of dollars from the DEA over the past several years.”
The OIG concluded that continuing such searches could “imperil the Department’s asset forfeiture and seizure activities.”….

Wait a minute! How, exactly, is she qualified to head Agriculture??? Because she grew up on a farm??!!?? WTH?!?! She didn’t even win the one election she ran in – FFS, that POS Warnock beat her!!! This is shameful, IMO – a political payoff and nothing less!!!
Just The News: “President-elect Donald Trump is expected to nominate former Georgia GOP Sen. Kelly Loeffler to lead the Agriculture Department, according to news reports Friday. Trump is expected to meet with Loeffler at his Florida home in Florida Mar-a-Lago on Friday afternoon, according to a CNN report.
Loeffler briefly represented Georgia in the Senate and fundraised for Trump during the 2024 election. She also grew up on a farm.
Trump has already appointed several others to serve in his administration, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Elise Stefanik and Tulsi Gabbard.
CNN also reports that Loeffler will be co-chairing Trump’s inauguration.”
—————-
From Wiki: “Loeffler was chief executive officer (CEO) of Bakkt, a subsidiary of commodity and financial service provider Intercontinental Exchange, of which her husband, Jeffrey Sprecher, is CEO. She is a former co-owner of the Atlanta Dream of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).
Brian Kemp, the Republican governor of Georgia, appointed Loeffler to the U.S. Senate in December 2019 after Senator Johnny Isakson resigned for health reasons. Loeffler ran in the 2020 Georgia U.S. Senate special election, seeking to hold the seat until January 2023. She finished second in the November 3 election, advancing to a runoff with Democrat Raphael Warnock held on January 5, 2021, where she lost.”
Loeffler was born in Bloomington, Illinois, to Don and Lynda (née Munsell) Loeffler, and raised on her family’s corn and soybean farm in Stanford, Illinois. She has a brother, Brian. In 1988, she graduated from Olympia High School in Stanford, where she was in the marching band, ran cross-country and track, and played varsity basketball.
In 1992, Loeffler graduated with a Bachelor of Science in marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign’s Gies College of Business, where she was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. After college, she worked for Toyota as a district account manager. In 1999, Loeffler graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in international finance and marketing from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. She financed her graduate school tuition by mortgaging land inherited from her grandparents.”

Good Morning, Pat and Filly,
Hard day yesterday – !
Sally had been complaining of pain in side and back and it got worse over time.
Her Dad finally felt her back, side and abdomen and discovered fluid in the abdomen and a mass.
Took her to the ER and they did a CT scan showed multiple tumors on the sac covering the bowel. It’s probably a recurrence of the ovarian cancer she had surgery for in 2017. The oncology center will see her and do whatever biopsies and diagnostics are needed in hospital because of her disability, discomfort and difficulty in getting to town.
We have a lot of decisions to make and are in great need of prayer.
One prayer was answered already – her sister and husband came to see her and told her she loved her. There had been a decades long breach between the sisters that broke my heart.
The LORD IS GOOD
HIS mercy is everlasting
and
HIS truth endure unto all generations,
and forever – throughout all eternity!!!

EXCERPTS: “Oklahoma Republican Senator Markwayne Mullin has blocked the promotion of the “last US soldier out of Afghanistan” to get his fourth star and become commander of US Army Europe. Lieutenant General Christopher Donahue is currently the commanding general of the Army’s XVIII Airborne Corps and once and future Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Tellingly, his was the only one of nearly 1,000 military promotions not approved as the Senate recessed for Thanksgiving. Someone familiar with the affair confirmed Mullin’s removing Donahue from the promotion list was directly related to Donahue’s role in Afghanistan.
Donahue acquired a degree of fame by hotdogging his role as the “last man out of Afghanistan.”
The little-known part of the story is that Donahue had Afghan evacuees bumped off the plane and left to the tender mercies of the Taliban so he could bring home war trophies. Our own Jennifer van Laar broke this in an exclusive story headlined: EXCLUSIVE: Maj Gen Ordered 50+ Evacuees off One of Last Flights out of Kabul to Make Room for Taliban Souvenir.
In fact, he wasn’t even the last man out.
“LTG Donahue refused to open the gates at HKIA despite Marines reporting up the chain of command that American passport holding citizens were trying to get in to evacuate. In addition to the statements from Marines, we had plenty of other evidence of Americans trying to get into HKIA to evacuate.
Donahue was the ground commander who ultimately made the decision to not get those Americans out. We can banter back and forth about security and other critical elements of why he chose to do what he did, but I can’t sidestep or forgive a commander not making every attempt to get those Americans out who were standing at the gate, talking directly to the Marines, and being refused entry.
The other nonsense about the fake photo op of “last boots on ground” that was proven false due to the Air Force load master being the last to get on the airplane and an entire medical unit still being on ground conducting operations well after the evacuation, plus borrowing the equipment from the delta team that was with him to take a cool guy photo, can be shrugged off.
Making an effort to use critical space on the airplanes to take home a Toyota Land Cruiser with a mounted anti-aircraft gun as a war trophy, instead of human beings, or at the very least the dozens of working dogs that were left to die in kennels at the hands of the Taliban, can also be shrugged off.
What I can’t shrug off is leaving American citizens behind in Afghanistan when they were standing at the gates with their passports out pleading with the Marine guards to let them in. He shouldn’t have been allowed to pin on a third star, let alone a fourth….”

EXCERPT: “What started as a Texas farmer’s love for exotic chickens has led to armed federal agents storming her farm, killing her prized birds, and a possible 20-year prison sentence for bringing rare eggs into the country.
Jennifer Mayo, who owns a chicken farm in South Texas, has found herself at the center of a federal smuggling case that has destroyed her business and left her fighting for her freedom.
The farmer’s story begins with a passion project that grew into a flourishing business enterprise. She started with nine birds about five years ago. Her collection eventually expanded into 39 different breeds of chickens, and her farm became a local attraction, drawing visitors from her community.
“Our local newspaper did a little article about it becoming kind of a roadside attraction,” Mayo told me in a podcast interview (see video below). Her focus on rare and exotic breeds like the Dong Tao, which are native to Vietnam, helped her stand out from other chicken farming operations.
Mayo’s ordeal began in 2023 when she traveled to Vietnam to visit her brother. During her trip, she purchased Dong Tao eggs from a government-operated farm.
Confident that she had followed all of the rules, she brought the eggs back to the United States. She passed multiple customs inspections without an issue.
“I told the lady [in Vietnam], ‘I’m taking these eggs to America if they let me,’ and she was like, ‘Oh, that’s great,’” Mayo recalled. Mayo went through customs in the Philippines on her way back to Texas. The eggs were inspected before she boarded the plane. “They searched through my bags. The guy said, ‘What kind of egg is this?’ And I said, ‘It’s chicken. Chicken eggs.’ He said, ‘Okay,’ and sent me on my way.”
Mayo proceeded to LAX, where she planned to declare her possession of the eggs. “I get to LAX, still nothing… It was completely my intent to declare them,” she said, adding that she didn’t see a single customs agent as the airport was under construction. “What I had read on the website for customs was that it was at the discretion of the customs agent. So I was like, ‘If they let me through, they let me through. If they don’t, I had a wonderful experience on this trip,” she said.
Excited about her purchase, Mayo told her friends on Facebook about the process. But the excitement would soon turn to horror. A team of heavily armed federal agents raided Mayo’s farm in July 2023. The officers also detained her tenants, placing them in handcuffs.
“They kicked in all the doors. They handcuffed my tenants. They kept one of my tenants standing outside, handcuffed in his underwear, for two hours,” Mayo recounted. In total, around 40 officers were involved, including U.S. Marshals in riot gear. “Look at me. Do I really look like I’m gonna run?” she asked, incredulous….”

EXCERPT: “Planned Parenthood has been providing “viable nonanomalous” babies murdered in “elective abortions” to the University of California San Diego (UCSD) for experimentation, according to a new report.
Published by The Center for Medical Progress (CMP), the emails detail a “Research Plan” that documents the harvesting of babies for experimentation on their bodies. The plan was submitted to and approved by UCSD’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) in 2018. The heavily redacted communications were obtained by the group via open records request.
According to the records reported by CMP, researchers unveiled plans in their submission to “collect tissues from fetuses ranging from 4 to 23 weeks gestational age from subjects undergoing elective surgical pregnancy termination at Planned Parenthood in San Diego.” The researchers further noted that patients with “viable nonanomalous … fetuses” would partake in the analysis.
Planned Parenthood will gather “evidence of fetal heart activity by ultrasound immediately prior to the dilation and evacuation procedure,” the submitted plan reads. The abortion provider aimed to harvest babies from “up to 2,500 patients,” according to the plan….”

“This is a classic case of important people doing important shit expedentially. Adultery, a crime of the heart, is no longer a crime in the state of New York.
Gov. Kathy Hochul signed a bill Friday repealing the more-than-a-century-old law that classified cheating as a class B misdemeanor and landed debauchers behind bars for up to 90 days.
Hochul is New York’s first happily married governor in roughly two decades. The marriages of each of her three immediate predecessors — David Paterson, Eliot Spitzer and Andrew Cuomo — were all plagued with extramarital affairs scandals and ended in divorce.
None, however, were sent to prison for their alleged cheating — even Spitzer, who famously stepped out on his wife to indulge in a sex ring.”

Just The News: “It would take a “lifetime” to deport the migrant criminals currently living in New York City, according to Kenneth Genalo, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) head there.
“In New York City, it would take a lifetime to clear the city of the criminals that we have if the status quo remains the same,” Genalo told the New York Post in an exclusive interview. He added that additional resources are needed to help with the city’s mass migrant problem. “The fact is that I have to focus all of my resources on the worst of the worst, the most egregious violators,” Genalo told the outlet. “All I can tell you is we have leads that we work every day — and it’s not in the hundreds.”
One of the main issues President-elect Donald Trump ran on in the 2024 campaign was mass deportations around the U.S. and shutting down the southern border.
Genalo didn’t say how the local ICE department in New York City would change after Trump takes office. He did say that he was irritated by New York’s sanctuary laws that don’t allow migrants who have committed crimes to be deported.
More than 223,000 migrants have come to New York since the current crisis began in the spring of 2022, according to the outlet, and at least 58,000 are living in taxpayers-funded shelters.
Also according to ICE, there are well over 600,000 convicted felons or people with criminal charges pending among the illegal migrant population in the U.S.”
