My husband loves Kentucky Fried Chicken bowls and I found a copycat recipe I wanted to share! The bowls contain popcorn chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, gravy and cheese. (I can do without the cheese personally.)

Ingredients
24-ounce bag of frozen popcorn chicken
homemade mashed potatoes kept warm
chicken gravy
1 cup frozen corn
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook popcorn chicken according to package directions.
Heat gravy.
Place the corn in a microwave safe bowl with a tablespoon of water and cover with plastic wrap or a microwave safe lid. Microwave for 1 – 1 ½ minutes, or until heated through, stirring once during cooking. Toss with a pinch of salt.*
To serve: spoon about 1 cup of mashed potatoes into the bottom of a bowl. Top with 6 oz of the chicken, a few tablespoons of shredded cheese, ¼ cup of corn and drizzle with gravy. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired.
(*Pat’s note: if you prefer canned corn can be used. Simply heat as you normally would.)
Enjoy!
Morning All!
hubby does love these. I was never one to mush everything on my plate together…lol
I sat in the chair, yesterday to watch a little football–and that’s what I did–watched LITTLE football…lol
when we’re at Mom’s, she sits in her comfy recliner and hubby sits in the other recliner and i sit on the sofa. but to see Mom to talk to her, I have to constantly turn my head–gets to giving me a crick in my neck.
we tried the air mattress we bought to replace her 1,000 year old mattress on the bed upstairs. We inflated it fully–that was WAY too hard. SO the next night we released some of the air–that was better. Now we have to figure out how to get rid of the mattress AND box spring. We just moved the mattress into the other spare room for the time being. But with the box spring and the air mattress? it comes up to my rib cage if i stand alongside the bed…LOL
getting in and out was a trip…lol
it was even harder for hubby.

Morning, Pat! Maybe if you sat sideways, with your legs up on the couch? Move the box spring into the other room, too, maybe? That is an issue these days – how to get rid of stuff like that. We have the contractors’ section of the dump where we can take it – pay by weight. When I first moved here and was doing the reno, I was able to just pay by the truckload but they’ve changed it now. Sometimes I like mashing stuff all together but it depends. I do really like the JD Breakfast Bowls that I tried recently – it’s all mixed in together. But, then, I smother it with honey BBQ sauce so it really doesn’t matter.

Morning Filly!
that would make things worse. her 2 recliners are in opposite corners on the same wall. the tv is on the opposite wall–directly in front of them. the couch is along a side wall in the middle. so i have to turn (90*) to see her (or hubby) and then turn front, and turn 90* in the opposite direction to see the tv. gets tiring.
her other “spare room” upstairs has commodes and dining chairs and pieces of bed railings and stuff from when my Dad was really sick. and a spare walker–and his wheel chair.
she never gets rid of anything–just in case.
we barely slide the mattress in there between 3 dining room chairs.

Gotta Love it! Haitian immigrants are running from the coming Trump crackdown
Haitian immigrants flee Springfield, Ohio, in droves after Trump election win
Haitians are now coming to her to figure out how to leave.
“Some folks don’t have credit cards or access to the internet, and they want to buy a bus ticket or a plane ticket, so we help them book a flight,” she told the Guardian recently. “People are leaving.”
Koveleski, leaders in Springfield’s Haitian community, and others have relayed reports of Haitians fleeing the city of 60,000 people in recent days for fear of being rounded up and deported after Donald Trump’s victory in the 5 November presidential election.

over 5,800 irs agents owe over $50 Million in taxes, but instead of instant firing and jail time and fines…here’s how they were treated: (70 referred to DOJ)
“Of the 70 employees who willfully failed to file tax returns, only 20 were removed after all cases were referred to the agency’s review board. However, Werfel noted that 47 employees were suspended, one faced “admonishment,” and two resigned from the agency.”

Just The News: “President-elect Donald Trump announced Sunday night that he will name Federal Communications Commissioner Brendan Carr to chair the commission that oversees broadcast television, radio and cellular bandwidth.
Trump noted he first nominated Carr to the FCC in 2017 and he was confirmed unanimously by the Senate.
“Commissioner Carr is a warrior for Free Speech, and has fought against the regulatory Lawfare that has stifled Americans’ Freedoms, and held back our Economy.” Trump said in a statement released by his transition office.
“He will end the regulatory onslaught that has been crippling America’s Job Creators and Innovators, and ensure that the FCC delivers for rural America,” he added.
Carr was the FCC’s general counsel and the adviser to former FCC Chair Ajit Pai before he was confirmed as a commissioner. He is currently the senior Republican on the FCC.”

Just The News: “Democrats and Republicans alike are opposed to allowing transgender surgeries on minors, according to a poll released Monday that measured a voter sentiment that played a role in this month’s election outcome.
The Napolitan News Service poll found that 72% of Americans think it should be illegal for doctors to perform gender-affirming care surgeries on minors. Of those 72% of Americans who don’t support it, 86% were Republicans and 58% were Democrats. The poll also says that 68% of Americans don’t believe that transgender athletes should be competing in women’s sports.
You can see the poll here: GCM24-1112 Topline – Transgender Issues.pdf
As of late, politicians on both the left and the right have been speaking out regarding transgender athletes competing in biological women’s sports.
“The Democrats have to stop pandering to the far left,” Rep. Thomas Suozzi, D-N.Y., told The New York Times earlier this month. “I don’t want to discriminate against anybody, but I don’t think biological boys should be playing in girls’ sports. Democrats aren’t saying that, and they should be.” Massachusetts Democratic Rep. Seth Moulton agreed with Suozzi’s sentiment that his party was too worried about offending people that they were not being honest.
Wyoming GOP Rep. Harriet Hageman said that she didn’t believe there was such a thing as “transgender,” rather someone who struggles with mental illness.
“I think what we’re talking about is some people who have a mental illness and we have other people who society are pushing towards a certain in a certain direction,” she said during an interview with the “Just the News, No Noise” TV show. “And I think we need to bring these conversations back to common sense. Men and women are different.”
When it comes to minors undergoing transgender surgeries, some in the medical field have been speaking out about the harms it does to children, including nurse practitioner Michelle Havrilla. Havrilla said she put together a database that put together data between 2019 to 2023 regarding the number of kids that have undergone sex change operations.
“What we found as we analyze the data is that approximately 14,000 children have undergone some type of sex change treatment within that period of time,” she said. “So whether it would be a surgery, a body modification surgery or they received hormone blockers or puberty blockers, they were undergoing some type of treatment that would we would consider a sex change treatment,” Harvilla said on an AMAC special.
She said that healthcare needs to go back to the traditional “do no harm” medical culture that has guided physicians since the time of ancient Greek physician Hippocrates, and should not conduct these procedures that will leave lasting negative impacts on children.
“We really want to see healthcare, especially nursing, restored to what it should be…and that’s being the best provider that you can be in taking care of patients on an individual basis,” Harvilla said.”

Our Take: In the 1960s, John and Robert Kennedy formed an unofficial advisory council called EXComM (Executive Committee of the National Security Council,) which was put together to keep peacemaking efforts siloed from the Joint Chiefs and the Intel Agencies.
Unused to being kept in the dark, these administrative vultures colloquially referred to this cadre of Kennedys and childhood friends from the Boston area (including Kenneth O’Donnell,) as the ‘Irish Mafia.’
By going around the Military Industrial Complex and the news media, these men established backchannels to Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev in order to avoid the war the ‘invisible enemy’ in both nations were salivating over.
As tensions rose, Robert famously said, “can the fu*king chiefs” as tempers flared over the war for peace.
Reconcile this with Trump’s current appointments. It may not be ‘Irish,’ but we’ve got a new American Mafia forming. “We went around them like nobody’s gone around them before.” Deep State most affected. — Burning Bright

Lawyer for Defense Secretary Nominee Pete Hegseth Says Sexual Assault Accuser ‘Was the Aggressor’
Our Take: We are now in confirmation season, which means the most heinous allegations against Trump’s key cabinet picks will fly like confetti. Pete Hegseth, 47’s nominee for Secretary of Defense, has already been attacked with three separate narrative deployments.
First, he was “that Fox News weekend anchor,” and MSM talking heads with zero self awareness claimed he lacked the requisite skills and experience. Hegseth’s service record is easily verifiable, and his recent appearance on Shawn Ryan’s podcast preempted the “just a Fox News guy” narrative. They then moved on to Hegseth’s Jerusalem Cross tattoo, with some even calling it a kind of swastika. That was laughable — and most of the public literally laughed at the stupidity of the suggestion — and now they’ve gone full #metoo.
Hegseth’s accuser is already on record, and not in a good way. There is a legal record of these allegations and, as Hegseth’s lawyer said, this woman may now be in violation of a prior legal agreement. If true, she should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
The fact that they’re going #metoo so early in this process likely means they got nothing substantive to sink Hegseth’s confirmation. Hegseth will be confirmed. — Ashe in Amerca

Our Take: Tulsi as a Russian asset is a narrative birthed by Hillary Clinton, and now ol’ Ramen Noodle Head is reviving the misogynistic, defamatory attack just in time for confirmation.
She can’t be a strong, capable, experienced veteran with the integrity required to root out systemic corruption. She must be a honey pot. She is hot, after all, and hot women can’t be intelligent and capable, right? At least that’s what women like DWS tell themselves (for obvious reasons).
Spoiler: If Tulsi was a Russian asset, she would have been prosecuted by the Biden DOJ to the fullest extent allowable by law and, also, any extent outside the law deemed necessary by Garland, Blinken, and their handlers.
If Russia! is all they got, then they got nothing. Tulsi will be confirmed. — Ashe in America

“Fattest, Sickest Country On Earth Concerned New Health Secretary Might Do Something Different”
Health · Nov 16, 2024 · BabylonBee.com
U.S. — Citizens in the most obese, unhealthy country on the face of the planet have expressed concern that new Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. might try to do a few things differently.
With seventy-five percent of the adult population now overweight or obese, government officials expressed deep reservations about doing anything differently whatsoever. Thousands of employees within Health and Human Services have even threatened to quit if the new Secretary tries to get the country to change direction in some way.
“RFK Jr. is a nut and his ideas are crazy,” said FDA employee Sharon Wilmington, as she slapped a “Heart Healthy” sticker on a box of Froot Loops. “We obviously have this thing under control.”
According to sources, Kennedy Jr. has proposed extreme, outlandish reforms such as reducing processed sugars in kids’ foods and occasionally exercising. “It’s very extreme,” said current HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra. “The man has obviously gone off the deep end. We must protect the beautiful, rotund children of today from this psychopath.”
At publishing time, climate experts had begun to consider that the sea levels were rising because so many fat Americans were making the land sink.

Lead Trump Florida Attorney Launches Surprise Forensic Voter Roll Audit for GOP Candidates Ready to Expose Voter Fraud
In a bold and strategic move, Florida attorney Peter Ticktin, a close ally of President Donald J. Trump, has unveiled a powerful forensic voter roll audit designed to uncover voter fraud and empower Republican candidates to challenge the results of contested elections.
Ticktin, a longtime Trump supporter and lead local counsel in the pivotal case Trump v. Clinton, et al., is spearheading this initiative to assist GOP candidates who suspect irregularities in their recent election outcomes.
Fighting Back Against Fraud
Ticktin and his legal team have developed sophisticated tools, combined with top-tier AI-powered skip tracing technology, to analyze voter rolls in counties across the nation. These advanced methods are specifically designed to identify ineligible voters, duplicate registrations, and other irregularities that have plagued the election system.
The findings from these audits will arm GOP candidates with inescapable evidence to challenge fraudulent results and secure their rightful victories.
“We Knew This Was Coming, and We’ve Been Preparing for It”
In a statement issued by Peter Ticktin, he emphasized the significance of this initiative:
“If there were illegal voters, we should be able to identify them and then work with your lawyers to provide a basis for challenging the incorrect results.”
Ticktin’s team has been preparing for this effort for months, recognizing the critical need to address vulnerabilities in the electoral process.
A Lifeline for GOP Candidates
Republican candidates who suspect foul play in their recent election losses are being urged to act quickly. Time is of the essence, and Ticktin’s team is standing by to collaborate with qualified experts to uncover the truth and ensure transparency.
Candidates can contact Ticktin’s office directly at (561) 232-2222 to initiate the process and begin analyzing the voter rolls in their states.

“DOJ Apparatchiks Told to Lawyer Up and Flee the Country. Why? If they did nothing wrong, what are they afraid of? After all, that’s what they said about Donald Trump for years. Now that the script flipped, their tune has changed–dramatically.”
Julie Kelly, Nov 18, 2024
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “As I reported last week, former and current apparatchiks for the Department of Justice are making plans to resign in advance of Donald Trump’s return to the White House in January.
Those headed for exits include Special Counsel Jack Smith and his top team of prosecutors, who just withdrew their appeal of Judge Aileen Cannon’s order dismissing the classified documents indictment in Florida and asked for a halt to the proceedings in the January 6-related case pending in Washington.
The resume-burnishing appears to extend to main Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigations (housed under the DOJ), and the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia office, which oversees the government’s ongoing prosecution of January 6 protesters. Anonymous “sedition hunters” who have aided the FBI in targeting and identifying hundreds of J6ers deleted their social media accounts over the weekend for fear of reprisal; the FBI reportedly paid the “sedition hunters” as FBI informants to help their pursuit of Trump supporters.
But the corrupt operatives in the DOJ are doing more than just looking for new jobs—some are looking for attorneys. The surprising nomination of former Representative Matt Gaetz as attorney general sent terror waves throughout the DOJ; Gaetz resigned his Florida House seat last week to prepare for a nasty confirmation fight and avoid release of a House Ethics report into debunked allegations about Gaetz’s conduct.
“Inside the Justice Department, some employees who had braced for the possibility of other names that had surfaced early in the transition were appalled when Trump made the Gaetz announcement,” CNN reported on Sunday. “One career official described hearing audible cries of ‘oh my God’ echoing down the hallway inside DOJ’s headquarters.”
NBC News also revealed that DOJ officials “wept” over Trump’s resounding victory. Why? Because they know their turn under the harsh lights of federal interrogators is coming next. “Multiple current and former senior Justice Department and FBI officials have begun reaching out to lawyers in anticipation of being criminally investigated by the Trump administration. The selection of former Rep. Matt Gaetz…to lead the department has sharply increased the sense of alarm.” One unnamed former top DOJ official admitted he “is bracing for a potentially long and costly legal battle, as well as the possibility of protracted congressional investigations.”
Creepy NeverTrumper and faux conservative Matt Lewis told MSNBC this morning reports that DOJ/FBI staffers are lawyering up demonstrates Trump’s desire to “weaponize” the department. “I think it’s real,” Lewis said about the likelihood of charges against corrupt government officials.
(Video clip)
In fact, their criminal exposure is so serious that one longtime Democratic operative is advising top targets to leave the country. Mark Zaid, an attorney who represented self-described Ukrainian “whistleblower” Eric Ciaramella, prompting the first impeachment of Trump in 2019, just told both CNN and Politico magazine that government officials worried they will be pursued by a Trump DOJ or Republican Congress should travel “outside of the country” right around Inauguration Day.
(Video clip)
That appears to be the advice Zaid also is giving to Ciaramella, now a fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington. Further, anyone dismissing Trump’s threat to bring criminal elements inside the federal bureaucracy to justice are “naive and foolish,” Zaid said. Other retaliatory measures aside from prosecution, Zaid speculated, could include the revocation of security clearances or transfers to undesirable outposts such as Alaska.
The fear is so intense that Zaid also recommends that his clients seek mental health and other related services to deal with the stress of a potential prosecution. His team is “making sure we have lawyers, CPAs, psychiatrists and other experts in their fields ready and willing to volunteer their time for free to represent anyone who faces retaliation directly.
”Watching the Inauguration from The Hague? How Appropriate
So, who might flee the country? Smith and his top prosecutor, David Harbach, could return to the Hague in the Netherlands under the ruse of rejoining the war crimes trial against former Kosovo President Hashim Thaci. Attorney General Merrick Garland tapped Smith in November 2022 to leave that case and take on the special counsel’s role.
But why would anyone else leave the country around Inauguration Day? To wait and see if Trump signs an executive order authorizing an investigation of everything from the Russian collusion hoax and the Ukrainian impeachment operation to the coverup of the Biden family corruption ring? To wait and see if the acting attorney general appoints a special counsel to investigate Smith’s team as well as the events of January 6?
And therein lies the justified panic within the DOJ and national security state. The ground is fertile for multiple investigations with legitimate criminal liability for top officials including Smith, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and DC US Attorney Matthew Graves in addition to line prosecutors and investigators.
On the flip side, the same officials and talking heads who’ve insisted Trump should not have feared going to trial for any one of his politically-motivated indictments if he did nothing wrong certainly are singing a different tune now.”

at this point though if the ballots are separated from the envelopes–how will they remove the illegals ones? undated, etc….
the only remedy is to NOT count that county at all in the total. that is the only fair way. they defied the law, the whole county suffers. maybe then the constituents will hold their officials accountable.
