Today is the anniversary of the discovery of King Tut’s tomb and history.com had a wonderful article detailing just some of the amazing artifacts found in the tomb.
From history.com:
It was one hundred years ago on November 4, 1922, that British archaeologist Howard Carter and an Egyptian team discovered an ancient stairway hidden for more than 3,000 years beneath the sands of Egypt’s Valley of the Kings. Twenty-two days later, Carter descended those stairs, lit a candle, poked it through a hole in a blocked doorway and waited as his eyes grew accustomed to the dim light.
“[D]etails of the room within emerged slowly from the mist, strange animals, statues, and gold, everywhere the glint of gold,” wrote Carter. “I was struck dumb with amazement.” When Carter’s patron, Lord Carnarvon, anxiously asked if Carter could see anything, the stunned archeologist replied, “Yes, wonderful things.”
Carter and the Egyptian team had found the lost tomb of Tutankhamun, the boy king of Egypt, who was buried in a small and overlooked tomb in 1323 B.C. King Tut may not have been a mighty ruler like Ramesses the Great, whose tomb complex covers more than 8,000 square feet of underground chambers, but unlike Ramesses and other pharaohs, King Tut’s treasures hadn’t been looted or damaged by floods. They were nearly intact.
A century later, the discovery of King Tut’s tomb, which contained more than 5,000 priceless artifacts, remains the greatest archeological find of all time.
“I don’t think there’s anything that can hold a candle to it in terms of outright richness, and in terms of the cultural and archeological information that it contains,” says Tom Mueller, a journalist who wrote a National Geographic article about Carter’s historic discovery and the opening of Cairo’s Grand Egyptian Museum, the new home for King Tut’s treasures.
Most people would recognize the iconic objects from the collection, like King Tut’s solid gold coffin and funerary mask, but even the smallest items—alabaster unguent bowls, King Tut’s walking stick or his sandals—are “works of supreme artistry,” says Mueller, who spent days with museum staff as they restored King Tut’s artifacts for display. “It’s no wonder that these treasures have branded themselves in the international consciousness since 1922.”
Here are nine fascinating artifacts recovered from King Tut’s tomb, from the biggest finds to some hidden treasures.
1 An Iron Dagger

On the surface, this iron-bladed dagger doesn’t look like a spectacular find, but King Tut died several centuries before the start of the Iron Age, when advances in technology allowed for the forging of iron and steel from mineral deposits.
During King Tut’s time, the few iron objects on record were made from metals that literally fell from the heavens in the form of meteorites. “There were theories that the iron dagger was a gift from a foreign king who would have presented it as a ‘gift from the gods,’” says Mueller, “as an omen of something powerful. That really got my attention.” A solid-gold dagger with an ornately decorated sheath was also found in the folds of King Tut’s mummy placed ceremoniously on his right thigh.
2 A Scarf with a Surprise
Inside a small wooden chest made from ebony and cedar, Carter and his team found a gold-plated leopard head, and a gorgeous pair of ceremonial objects known as the pharaoh’s crook and flail, always depicted as held across his chest. But alongside these priceless items was something conspicuously commonplace—a knotted up linen scarf.
When the archeologists untangled the scarf, they found several gold rings inside. But how did they get in there? From other clues, it became clear to Carter that King Tut’s tomb hadn’t remained completely untouched. Thieves must have broken in soon after the tomb was sealed and made off with the smallest and most valuable items they could carry, like gold jewelry. Unlike other pharaonic tombs, which had been fully ransacked over the centuries, King Tut’s tomb “had only been lightly looted,” says Mueller. The scarf packed with gold rings was evidence that the thieves may have even been caught in the act or scared off by guards and left their loot behind. It was hastily packed into a box when the tomb was resealed, not to be opened for another 3,200 years.
3 A Game of Chance and Fate

A senet gaming board from Tutankhamun’s tomb, 14th century BC. Made from wood veneered with ebony and inlaid with ivory. From the collection of the Egyptian National Museum, Cairo, Egypt. Egyptians played board games and one of King Tut’s favorites (judging from the fact that there were four sets in his tomb) was a game called senet. Historians don’t agree on the exact rules of the checkers-like game, but it involved moving your game piece through a series of 30 squares by throwing knucklebones or casting sticks. The Egyptian Book of the Dead, which details the journey of the soul through the afterlife, says that playing senet is a popular pastime for the deceased. Eternal life may even have been at stake. “There’s evidence that it was a game played against the god of death,” says Mueller, “so it’s also a game of fate.”
4 King Tut’s Lost Daughters
One of the reasons why King Tut fell through the cracks of Egyptian history was that his reign was so short (around a decade) and he didn’t leave behind any heirs or offspring. But thanks to Carter’s discovery, we know that King Tut’s wife Ankhesenamun—whom he married at age 12—bore two stillborn daughters who were buried in their father’s tomb.
Inside an unmarked box, Carter’s team found two tiny wooden coffins, each bearing a gilded inner coffin that contained the mummified remains of King Tut’s daughters. The fetuses appeared to be 25 and 37 weeks old and died from unknown causes.
Mueller says that there’s a tendency to paint King Tut’s tomb as macabre, given the fascination with things like King Tut’s curse. “Yes, this is a tomb with several dead people in it,” says Mueller, “but in a way, the Egyptian view of the afterlife—their obsession with it—softens all of that. It becomes death as a work of art. King Tut’s preparation for the afterlife becomes a museum.” Archeologists also found a lock of King Tut’s grandmother’s hair in the tomb, which may have been a family keepsake.
5 Gold Sandals

In one of the crowded antechambers, Carter found a painted wooden chest that he described as “one of the greatest artistic treasures of the tomb… we found it hard to tear ourselves away from it.” Inside were sequin-lined linens, an alabaster headrest and a very special pair of sandals. These were King Tut’s golden court sandals, ornately decorated footwear that he’s seen wearing in some of the statuettes found in the tomb. Made from wood and overlaid with bark, leather and gold, the eye-catching parts are the soles of the sandals, which depict the nine traditional enemies of Egypt. That wasn’t an accident. “He’d be symbolically walking on their faces all day,” says Mueller.
6 A Small Army of Servants

Thousands of years before King Tut, at the dawn of Egyptian civilization, powerful rulers were buried with their royal servants, who sacrificed their lives to serve their master in the eternities. By the late Middle Kingdom, human servants were replaced by small figurines called ushabti, who were inscribed with a magical spell to forever do the deceased’s bidding in the afterlife. For the average Egyptian burial, one or two ushabti were placed in the deceased’s tomb. In King Tut’s tomb, there were 413 ushabti, a small army of foot-tall figurines made from various materials including faience, a glass-like pottery with striking colors. Some of King Tut’s ushabti held copper tools like yokes, hoes and picks to do manual labor for the pharaoh in the afterlife.
7 King Tut’s Undergarments
Not every treasure in King Tut’s tomb was made of gold. The young pharaoh, who died at 19 after just nine or 10 years on the throne, was also buried with some of his clothing. Among the ancient textiles found in the tomb were 100 sandals, 12 tunics, 28 gloves, 25 head coverings, four socks (with a separate pocket for the big toe, so they could be worn with sandals) and 145 loincloths, triangular-shaped pieces of woven linen that both men and women wore as underwear. “I really like his underwear,” says Mueller. “King Tut was kitted out for the afterlife, right down to the undergarments. They’re quite spectacular, little loincloth-like things. They’re incredible.” King Tut’s undergarments were a step above non-royal underwear. According to textile historians, the weave of an ordinary Egyptian linen loincloth had 37 to 60 threads per inch, but King Tut’s underwear had 200 threads per inch, giving the cloth a silk-like softness.
8 A Dazzling Resting Place for the King’s Organs

The gilded shrine of canopic jars or canopic chest from King Tut’s tomb. This detail shows the goddess Selket. During the mummification process, Egyptian embalmers carefully removed the lungs, liver, intestines and stomach from the body, embalmed the organs, and placed them in vessels called Canopic jars. The final resting place for King Tut’s organs was one of the most exquisite objects in the entire tomb. Carter found Tut’s Canopic jars stored inside an alabaster chest, itself housed within a magnificent wooden funerary shrine covered in gold leaf. “Facing the doorway stood the most beautiful monument that I have ever seen,” wrote Carter, “so lovely that it made one gasp with wonder and admiration.”
What really struck Mueller when he saw the golden shrine in person were the four Egyptian goddesses of death guarding the young pharaoh’s embalmed organs on all sides. The goddesses Isis, Nephthys, Neith and Selket are depicted in naturalistic poses with form-fitting dresses that inspired flapper fashion in the 1920s. “Here are these gorgeous goddesses looking over his innards for all eternity,” says Mueller.
9 The Iconic Golden Mask

For Carter, the greatest prize among the 5,000 objects in the tomb was the mummy of King Tut himself. But to get to the mummy, Carter and his team had to slowly and painstakingly work through a series of nesting shrines and coffins that were never meant to be opened by human hands.
First there were four box-like golden shrines, each slightly smaller than the last. Inside the last shrine was the heavy stone sarcophagus. Once the stone lid was removed, it revealed the first of three coffins. The first coffin, as well the second one nested inside of it, were wooden coffins overlaid with gold foil and designed to look like the god Osiris lying in repose. The third and final coffin was a jaw-dropper: a solid gold casket weighing 296 pounds also depicting Osiris with the ceremonial crook and flail across his chest.
With trembling hands, Carter opened the golden coffin and found himself face to face with the iconic funerary mask of Tutankhamun. The 22-pound, solid-gold mask rested directly on the head and shoulders of King Tut’s mummy, and portrayed the handsome young king as Osiris, complete with the pharaonic false beard. “The golden mask of King Tut is probably the best-known and most widely recognized archeological treasure ever,” says Mueller. King Tut’s mummy, when carefully removed and unwrapped, contained 143 different amulets, bracelets, necklaces and other priceless artifacts among its ancient bandages.

Good morning, Pat and Filly,
Finally, after a month of dry weather, we have rain in our forecast for Wednesday and on for a few days…
And, there’s also a storm or two in the tropics that we Floridians are watching carefully. Josh, the severe weather guy says it’s going to be an unusually active November in the tropics. So the porch furniture stays in the garage for a while longer.
I’m home recovering from the weekend with Sally Q. She was more volatile than usual.
Heading out to do stuff in the yard…if I can tear myself away from the internet and the looming election.
My thoughts are pretty negative – –
I dread watching the Election count transpire, knowing that the left and elite RINOs are still attempting a steal utilizing every form of cheating and lying – from machine error, to fake ballots, to running ballots several times.
I dread the aftermath – having seen evidence that Norm Eisen has amassed at least a hundred leftist groups and they are planning to disrupt the entire nation with violent destructive riots and assaults using their millions of imported illegal criminal thugs – led by trained CIA/Fed agitators, escalators and instigators. It will be a False Flag of course – blamed on Trump and our MAGA patriots.
Since the fake science climate hoax, since the Plannedemic hoax when the medical community (owned by big pharma and the big hospital corps) were exposed as corrupt, since the 2020 stolen election and January 6 and4 years of the Biden-Harris fake administration, my suspicious cat has had 4 generations of suspicious kittens.
Meanwhile the search engines are still spewing out anti-Trump propaganda and the pollsters are putting out false data trying to make it look like a close race.
Cheating and falsifying elections is treason and should be treated as such!

don’t worry about the election. we cannot control what’s gonna happen. we voted (or at least we will tomorrow) we did what we could.
i trust in God and President Trump when he said he caught them all. i think he knew where to look and where to monitor this time. this is not his first rodeo.
if it be God’s will, we will all come out okay. if not, then I’ll see you on the other side. but worrying about it will only cause you stress. Trust.

EXCERPT: “Democrats were confronted earlier this year with a terrifying reality: a cap on out-of-pocket costs for patients to limit Medicare drug spending passed as part of Biden’s signature Inflation Reduction Act was set to spike premiums for millions of senior citizens just weeks before the 2024 presidential election.
To avoid the political catastrophe of presiding over major premium increases in the middle of a closely contested election, the Biden-Harris administration used its authority to reroute appropriated funding to subsidize the premiums for seniors until after the election.
The administration’s $5 billion budget gimmick kicked the proverbial can down the road, but only adds to the estimated possible $20 billion in additional spending over three years to cover up the unintended consequences of one of the Biden-Harris administration’s signature las.
While they free Democratic nominee Kamala Harris to tout the caps in her key economic plan for the middle class, the subsidies will cost taxpayers and seniors in the long run.
“They created a new program that’s going to send billions to health insurance companies… to temporarily offset the premium increases,” Rebecca Weber, the CEO of the Association for Mature American Citizens (AMAC) told the John Solomon Reports podcast.
“One could really say that they’re buying, you know, off big insurance companies right before an election. And taxpayers, this is important, that people understanding it, taxpayers are footing the bill today, seniors will pay the price tomorrow,” she added.
Medicare Part D premiums were slated to increase in October at the beginning of open enrollment following pressure on insurance companies generated by the Inflation Reduction Act’s caps on drug prices—one of the Biden-Harris Administration’s signature legislative initiatives.
This could have spelled political disaster for Democrats and their nominee, who bragged that she cast the tie-breaking vote on the legislation.
But the administration swooped in to prevent the catastrophe. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced in July a new program to stabilize the premiums, called a demonstration. This program would shell out a total of approximately $5 billion in subsidies for insurance companies to cover the costs of capping prices and other effects of the Inflation Reduction Act.
Before the subsidies, the price cap plan was already set to balloon federal spending after the Congressional Budget Office found the Inflation Reduction Act’s financial impacts were underestimated.
The analysis, requested by Republican critics of the administration’s plans, said the changes made to Medicare by the act would likely cause the new average plan bid for standard Part D coverage to increase by a whopping 179% for 2025 without intervention.
“CBO expects that the additional plan costs reflected in those bids will result in an increase in federal spending of $10 billion to $20 billion in calendar year 2025, compared with our earlier projections,” the CBO said…..”

Just The News: “As Election Day is just days away, Washington, D.C., Michigan, Georgia and other states around the U.S. are ramping up security, as massive protests are expected no matter who wins.
In the deep-blue cities of Philadelphia, Atlanta and Detroit, security measures are taking place to keep election officials safe. In Detroit and Atlanta, some campaign offices have installed bullet-proof glass protecting election offices. In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a warehouse that counts ballots has fencing around it topped with barbed wire, according to Reuters.
The executive director of North Carolina’s State Board of Elections said that election workers have been harassed already amid early voting. The state has a law where law enforcement can only be at polling places if there are threats, according to Politico.
Other states such as Massachusetts have a law that requires police presence at polling places no matter what.
Earlier last month, the federal government began fortifying Washington, D.C., for Inauguration Day, which is about three months away. The effort began with crews erecting fencing around the White House, including nearby Lafayette Park, the National Park Service, which is leading the effort, said.
These efforts historically begin Nov. 1. The park service said it started earlier to “accommodate additional time needed for a safer and more secure environment.” According to a report from Axios D.C., there will be armed guards at the D.C. Board of Elections on Nov. 5. A spokesperson told the outlet that this was to keep an eye out for any types of threats at polling stations.
D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser isn’t planning on calling the National Guard as of now, but if things get out of hand, she will have the choice to do so. Police Chief Pamela A. Smith told The Washington Post that the entire police department will be deployed through the city to ensure safety in days leading up to Nov. 5. Most officers’ paid vacations and leave time has been canceled and they will have to work 12-hour shifts to “ensure we have enough officers on the street and in every corner of the District,” Smith said.
Following the Jan. 6 Capitol Riot in 2021, local and federal officials have been increasing security so another incident like that doesn’t occur.
Taking few chances, local business owners concerned about potential riots have been boarding up their windows, which Bowser said might not be necessary. Bowser has been having phone calls with business groups that are worried about their businesses and potential rioters due to the George Floyd riots in the summer of 2020.
“I hope it’s a peaceful transfer of power, but you have to be prepared,” a D.C. restaurant owner said during an interview with Axios.”

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/rip-my-best-friend-outrage-ensues-after-beloved-rescue-squirrel-seized-ny-euthanized
Our Take: A pet squirrel hijacked the news cycle over the weekend after a woman, who was reportedly in Texas, lodged a complaint against a popular animal rescue in New York.
Officials seized Peanut the Squirrel, and Fred the Raccoon, in a five hour raid on the NYers’ home, then euthanized the animals to “test for rabies,” according to authorities. There was no evidence of rabies, but that didn’t matter. Also, people keep forgetting about Fred.
This wasn’t just a viral social media moment. My husband, a NYer, raged about NY government after reading about Peanut in NewsBreak. The story broke through to my sons and their friends — and they get most of their “news” from the Xbox live chat. A government big enough to fulfill all your wishes is powerful enough to raid your home and kill your pets. That’s the widespread takeaway of this sad, memetic moment.
Mike Benz said on X Saturday, “Are we gonna win this election because of this f’ing squirrel?”
From a narrative standpoint, yes. Decisively. And, in US elections, the narrative is all there is. — Ashe in America

Our Take: The Whole Temple is coming down, which is why its priests are so terrified.
They kicked off the year with Trump-Epstein conflation. Looks like they’re trying to close it out the same way. My take from the first time around stands:
“While it can be a little frustrating to weather the Trump-Epstein conflation and obfuscation techniques blasted out by the Media Industrial Complex (including ‘Right-Wing’ media,) when you zoom out a bit and consider it all through the twin lenses of a Mass Disclosure Operation and the Great Awakening, it couldn’t be going any better.
For starters, as many have pointed out, the MAGA and Trump base already knows he’s innocent of any criminal association with Epstein, though he was a clear target of the Influence Op.
…
In their blindness to see Trump toppled in the public mind, they have eagerly shifted the Overton Window into the mass acknowledgement that former presidents associated with pedophiles … at the very least.” — Burning Bright

“Sad: Thousands Of Women Left Standing Clueless In Voting Booths After Husbands Fail To Tell Them Who To Vote For”
Family · Nov 3, 2024 · BabylonBee.com
U.S. — Hundreds of thousands of women across America were left standing utterly clueless as to what to do at a voting booth after their husbands failed to tell them who to vote for.
Several advertisements in this election cycle have encouraged husbands to stop telling their wives how to vote. Sadly, many husbands heeded this advice, leaving their poor wives completely baffled and anxious.
“I’m so lost. Oh, how I wish a man had explained to me what to do!” exclaimed local woman Stephanie Griggs, staring blankly at her ballot. “Curse this womanly brain of mine!”
Voting at several polling stations ground to a halt after all of the booths became occupied by bewildered women. “This is a disaster,” said poll worker John Bingham. “We’ve had thirty women taking up every booth for the past three hours, just staring like deer in headlights. We offered to bring them lunch while they made their choice, but they couldn’t decide on a restaurant.”
At publishing time, voting stations had been forced to designate one voting booth for men only to allow voting to continue.

“Trump Projected To Win In 50-State Landslide After Appearing In Squirrel Costume”
Politics · Nov 2, 2024 · BabylonBee.com
U.S. — What was expected to be a close Presidential election is now projected to be a 50-state landslide for Trump after the former president showed up to a rally in a squirrel costume.
Honoring the late squirrel “Peanut,” Trump delivered his entire stump speech in the costume, clips of which spread across social media like wildfire. Within hours, polls showed a historic swing, with millions of voters switching their allegiance to Trump.
“They’re after you — me and Peanut are just standing in their way,” said Trump. “That is why today, I am calling for a day of mourning for Peanut. Let all MAGA flags be flown at half-mast today in his memory. On Tuesday, we’re going to do this for Peanut, we’re going to restore justice to this country, and make America great again not just for humans, but for all woodland creatures.”
Thousands of Americans dressed in squirrel costumes began showing up at polling stations, eager to save America on behalf of Peanut. “How would I explain to my children that I could have stood up for Peanut, but didn’t,” said local man Dennis Hamilton, waiting outside a polling station. “We’ve got a country to save.”
At publishing time, Nate Silver had committed seppuku after seeing his entire prediction model rendered irrelevant by a squirrel.

Oh, FFS! Talk about hypocrisy!!!
Red State: “A lot of people are really full of themselves. Mostly actors. Actors are consistently taking credit when, in reality, they read lines written for them, wear costumes sewn to fit them, and need direction until they say their lines right. Actors love themselves a lot. A lot more than any other profession.
You’d be hard-pressed to find a more intolerable lot than Hollywood thespians, but I would bet New York stage actors would say, “Hold my champagne.” Yeah, I bet New York tops Hollywood in self-puffery. When you combine that haughtiness with an ability to find racism where none exists, you have a combustible massive jerk in the works. I found that jerk. Her name is Kecia Lewis.
Kecia Lewis is a Broadway actress. She apparently won a Tony for her current gig as a music teacher in “Hell’s Kitchen.” Kecia Lewis is a black woman who posted a nastygram video on Instagram, ripping on another actress named Patti LuPone. LuPone’s offense, her mortal sin? She sent a note to the “Hell’s Kitchen” producers, asking that the production reduce the volume for two musical cues. LuPone is performing in a theater that shares a wall with “Hell’s Kitchen” and her play is apparently a two-person affair. “Hell’s Kitchen” adjusted the cues, and LuPone sent a nice “thank you” note to the sound engineers and staff. Reasonable and rational people would think that would be the end of it. Adults being adults.
Nah. Lewis posted a four-minute nastygram saying:
Wait… what? A thank you is “dismissive.” Does Lewis know what dismissive means? LuPone asked that two cues, as in two, be adjusted. They were adjusted. LuPone thanked “Hell’s Kitchen” sound peeps with flowers. And, LuPone is a micro-agressing racist “bad gal?”
What…the…what?
If you watch the video, Lewis drips with obvious contempt; this isn’t “asking” for an apology — she is demanding LuPone grovel and “acknowledge” her mystery racism.
A person on Instagram posted a “too good not to read” response to Lewis’ rant.
The play, “Hell’s Kitchen,” is apparently based on Alicia Keys’ life growing up in – Hell’s Kitchen. Keys’ real name is Alicia Augello Cook. Her dad is black. Her mom is white. Guess who didn’t raise her? Keys has zero regard for her dad and has had zero contact with him. Her mom raised her – working three jobs to help her daughter get where she wanted to go. About growing up without her father, Keys said:
Gosh, that sounds like Alicia Keys and her mom’s struggles would make an interesting play. Yeah, a Broadway musical about strong, resourceful women. But I’m not catching the “black show” vibe.
The area of Hell’s Kitchen is not “Manhattan rich,” but neither is it poor. The most recent racial demographics place the black population of Hell’s Kitchen at about six percent.
I hope that LuPone doesn’t bend the knee. If LuPone ignores Lewis’ rant, that silent dismissal would be an acceptable rebuke. No doubt Lewis would take that as another microaggression with another demand for an apology. Maybe LuPone should send flowers to Lewis, with a photo of LuPone holding her three Tonys. “I have three, dear.”
Shhhh. Don’t remind Lewis that Broadway is also known as The Great White Way. She might be so triggered her head would explode.”

Once again, looking for a legislative fix for people who make the wrong or stupid choices….IT’S A CHOICE, asswipes!!! You cannot punish and/or restrict everyone because of stupid people being stupid! And it is NOT a “disorder!” I am seriously disappointed with US Right to Know’s stance on this subject!
EXCERPT: “Fueled by digital technology, the gambling industry drives rapidly expanding and highly profitable products that are more harmful to public health than previously known—and should be tightly regulated, according to a recently released report by The Lancet Public Health Commission on gambling.
The report says that more than 400 million adults worldwide are at risk of harmful physical or mental health consequences, such as disability and depression, due to the gambling industry. So are children and young people, experts say.
Gambling disorder (ongoing betting that causes multiple problems) could affect nearly 16% of adults and 26% of adolescents who gamble using online casino or slot products. It could also harm roughly 9% of adults and 16% of adolescents who gamble using sports betting products, based on a systematic review and meta-analysis of the gambling industry worldwide.
“These findings underscore the potential harmfulness of products…that are now driving the global expansion of the gambling industry,” says the Lancet’s multidisciplinary group of experts, co-chaired by Prof. Heather Wardle of the University of Glasgow in Scotland. “This Commission stresses that gambling is a public health issue.” …..”

“A Unifying Victory for America”
Clandestine, Nov 04, 2024
(Video)
“Last night, Vivek outlined the impact of a convincing Trump victory. He claims we are looking at a historic win that will “unite the country.”
He’s right. The bigger the Trump win, the less credibility the media have, and the more political ammunition/optics Trump will have to efficiently implement the MAGA agenda and get this country back on track. If Trump wins the popular vote, the media will not be able to use that talking point, and the public will have no choice but to concede that Trump is beloved.
If Trump wins majorities in the House and Senate, the Dems will not be able to obstruct pro-Trump legislation, and all the Congressional committees will be under MAGA’s control.
If Trump flips some blue states, it will confirm the People have tuned-out the MSM, and that the Deep State brainwashing apparatus has lost its control over public perception, and thus reality.
It’s not enough just to win. We have to win BIG if we want to maximize this 4 year window with Trump and defeat the Deep State. And Vivek, one of Trump’s top surrogates, seems pretty confident we have the enthusiasm and turnout to get it done.”

SMH – my Mom is sooooo transparent in her manipulation. There is ALWAYS an agenda when she calls me. Weeks and weeks go by w/no calls from her at all. When she called to complain about the brace she was using to help with her sciatica, she saw some at WM but her Medicare wouldn’t pay for it, etc., etc., of course I offered to check them out on-line and buy one for her.
The issue with Medicare is always brought into the convo. She called yesterday and started out by saying, in a cheerful voice, “That brace you ordered for me works much better.” After a little back-and-forth (“I’m happy it helps, etc., etc.) it moves into the knee braces complaint….and, of course, I offer to look on the net. She won’t accept immediately – no, she will let a few days go by, then call me back, all disappointed and sad….she just couldn’t find any that she could afford or that Medicare would pay for. Watch and see!
Then, of course, it moves on to her oven, which hasn’t worked properly for months, and how that bitch landlord won’t fix it, and a whole litany of other complaints, and what she’s going to do and say to that mechanic they’re sending to look at the oven….sigh…..followed by another 10 minutes of complaints about this issue or that. Never, ever just pleasant!!! And people wonder why I don’t like talking to her!!!

OK – I’ve made my decision – I wrote a LTE about the ID issue at the CH. What do you think?
VOTER ID LAW IN NEBRASKA
I had planned on voting in person at the library as I’ve done in the past but on my way to Norfolk on Oct. 23, as I approached Pierce, I decided to go ahead and vote early. I wasn’t in a hurry, had plenty of time, nice weather, and have a vehicle that is pretty much on it’s last legs…what if ? Having low-level Aspergers, I’m obsessed with “what ifs!” I’m going right past the CH anyway so why not just get it done? I had already made my decisions on all of the relevant issues. Besides, ya’ never know – a blizzard can pop up almost any time in NE!!! LOL – like I said “what if?”
I approached the County Clerk’s office, DL and voter ID in hand, where another couple was also voting early. The female clerk gave me the application to fill out and I handed it to her in one hand and held out my DL in the other. She brushed off the DL and said, “I’ll verify all this in the computer.” The ID law popped into my mind and I considered commenting further but chose the better course and kept my mouth shut this time. I chose to believe she had my DL picture available to check on the computer.
I certainly HOPE that is the case because if it’s not…..????

she ran them all over and then stopped quickly and ducked into the weeds. bewildered they raced around–fought each other for a bit, then raced off in another direction. she came back out, peed, and left her scent and they came back noses to the ground and they were off again. lol

Much different from Ronna McRomney in 2020.
Slight correction: our force is 230,000 poll observers & poll workers strong. AND 500 attorneys in EVERY BATTLEGROUND STATE.
Our message is crystal clear: DO NOT CHEAT.
If you do, we will find you and prosecute you to the FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.

“Final Reminder of the Three Issues Driving This Election: We’re in the name-calling phase of the election cycle, and it’s not just between candidates. It’s important to focus on spreading the truth on this final day.”
JD Rucker, Nov 04, 2024
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “In case you hadn’t noticed, tensions are high. Americans are at each other’s throats — sometimes literally — as we approach the finale of the most insane election cycle in history. The sitting President ended his bid for a second term. His opponent was charged with dozens of made up crimes. Corporate media has become apoplectic in their coverage of the news. A presidential candidate was nearly assassinated. Twice.
But through the maelstrom of crazy circumstances remains a very stark reality: Our nation is in big trouble facing existential threats at a scale not seen since the Civil War. I am confident in three things.
That last note will certainly ruffle feathers. Even Bible-believing Christians might take offense for many reasons. Some take this stance as not believing in free will. But my worldview is what drives me to work harder knowing that I do not know my place in His plan and therefore all I need to do is fight the good fight with all I have.
For that reason, I want to write my final column ahead of the election as a reminder of the three issues driving voters.
Yes, It’s the Economy
James Carville was right when he said, “It’s the economy, stupid.” This is normally the most pressing issue deciding elections at the federal level. Ironically, it doesn’t always work at the state, county, and local level as we’ve seen with the most desolate voters repeating their mistakes for decades in blue areas.
Unfortunately, the campaigns haven’t put the appropriate level of effort into disseminating their actual economic plans. Trump mentions tariffs often and promises to cut taxes but his campaign should have explained the inflation issue better. They had an opportunity to educate Americans on the Inflation Reduction Act and remind them that Kamala Harris was the deciding vote.
I’m not a campaign advisor for a reason. I’m sure well-paid analysts and experts would tell me that the messaging behind inflation would be too complex if they dove into the details, but I believe in this digital world it wouldn’t have been hard to drive the message home. For whatever reason, there’s still too much emphasis on :30 second pump up pitches and 1:00 minute attack ads. Maybe it works, but I believe with the right messaging the details could be brought to light.
Regardless, the economy is a clear advantage for Trump and if we need a final day message, it should be that Kamala Harris has only promised more of the same as we’ve seen for the last four years.
The Invasion
The border crisis is apparent to anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear, so there’s no need to dwell on this issue. We are being invaded and it is going to destroy this nation if it’s not stopped immediately. The Trump campaign messaging on this has been solid. The only thing I would have added is more of an emphasis on an unavoidable fact: American citizens struggling in urban areas are the most negatively impacted by the border crisis.
It’s funny that the one time an issue truly affects the “underprivileged” is the only time Democrats are unwilling to talk about it. They’ve said climate change harmed minorities more. They said Trump’s tax cuts harmed the poor. They said just about everything is racist, misogynistic, transphobic, or otherwise detrimental to a protected class. But they won’t admit the border invasion does the most harm to the people they pretend to protect.
This is unambiguously a huge argument for Trump.
Abortion
I’ll keep this one short because I’m one of those radical pro-life purists. Yes, I want abortion banned altogether, but I know that’s not going to happen anytime soon.
I also know that the chances of any abortion legislation hitting the next president’s desk are nearly nil. The hypothetical nationwide abortion ban that Trump keeps getting asked about will never happen and, contrary to Project 2025’s wishes, no Republican in DC is seriously considering it. Trump said he’d veto it if it magically appeared.
The hypothetical codification of Roe v. Wade would only hit Kamala’s desk if Democrats control both the House and Senate and then the Senate ejects the filibuster. The massive election shenanigans required for that would be at a scale I do not believe Democrats are willing to use. I could be wrong, but I hope I’m not.
This means that all of those voters, mostly Democrats, who are voting based on the abortion issue are putting a nothingburger on a pedestal. This election will have very little impact on their rights to murder preborn babies. As we’ve seen since Roe v Wade was overturned, it’s not like abortions have been reduced. They’ve risen.
Conclusion
It’s in God’s hands. We have to do our part, vote, get the word out, and hope that we make it through this cycle unscathed. But as always, we still have to get the Word out by spreading the Gospel. I can’t wait for this election to be over.”

Democrat Early Vote is Down Significantly Indicating a MASSIVE Trump Victory
Clandestine, Nov 04, 2024
“The Trump campaign released internal early voting data, and I don’t think people realize how catastrophic these early voting numbers are for Kamala and the Dems. If the inverse were true, and GOP turnout was this bad compared to prior elections, it would be front page news, and every Left-wing media outlet would be popping bottles.
The Dems/MSM are not going to admit it, but they are cooked, and they know it. They want to maintain the illusion of momentum to convince voters to turn out tomorrow, but they know the numbers coming in indicate a massive Trump victory.
Don’t let the Dems/MSM fool you. They are terrified, and they should be.”

i dunno. PDT was emphasizing vote early vote early. what if the dems figured they’d rig it this time by voting on election day? so we think we’re gonna win and THEY swamp the vote.
too many variables to say ANYTHING concrete at this point imo

“Election 2024: The Day Before – Reasons for Optimism”
Techno Fog, Nov 04, 2024
EXCERPT: “We’re just a day away from the 2024 Presidential election and if you’re feeling a little on edge, let us offer a little consolation: the Democrats are wrecked with worry.
We have documented the polling trends for the last couple of months. The movement from September 10, 2024 to the present day, November 1, has Republicans feeling confident. Victory isn’t guaranteed, but it’s safe to say that leadership is cautiously optimistic.
Back in September, based on the aggregate polls, Kamala enjoyed slim leads in the majority of swing states – Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania – and was essentially tied with Trump in Nevada, Georgia, and Arizona.
September 2024 Aggregates:
But things have changed. Momentum shifted. In a race with a number of close states, the last ~60 days have been very good for Donald Trump. Per the New York Times aggregates, Trump has secured slim leads in Nevada, North Carolina, and Georgia. He has gained 3 points in Arizona. Kamala’s lead in Wisconsin has shrunk and she is now fighting to not lose Michigan.
November 2024 Aggregates:
Nate Silver was kind enough to post this chart showing shifts for the last week and month. While there are some changes from last week benefiting Democrats, they have been insufficient to cut into Republican gains this past month. If polling can be believed…..”

there is definitely a federal law that makes it illegal for illegals to vote in federal elections. whoever is trying to pressure IOWA needs to be impeached or fired or whatever for trying to coerce state gov’t officials.
