From HomeHacks:
Hair conditioner is not just for your hair. There are lots of practical ways to use leftover hair conditioner around your home.
Here are some alternative uses for hair conditioner.
Protect Leather Shoes
Dab a rag in some conditioner and work it into your leather shoes. Apply in small amounts at a time and make sure your boots are fully dry when you smart. This will protect your shoes from snow and salt.
Remove Stickers, Bandages, and Temporary Tattoos
To reduce pain or prevent sticker residue, you can use a dab of conditioner to remove a sticker, adhesive bandage, or temporary tattoo.
Cuticle Cream
Rub some conditioner on your cuticles before you push them back or trim them to keep them soft.
Detangler
Mix some water and conditioner in a spray bottle and use it as a detangler or leave-in conditioner.
Reshape and Soften Bristles

If your makeup brushes have become stiff you can work a small amount of conditioner through them after they are washed to reshape and soften them up.
Fabric Softening Dryer Sheets
Instead of buying dryer sheets you can make reusable ones. Pour equal parts conditioner and water in a spray bottle and shake it up. Wet a washcloth with this solution and let it dry. Once it is dry you can put it in your dryer and use it as a dryer sheet.
Unclog a Drain
Squirt some conditioner into your drain and chase it with some hot or boiling water. This can lubricate the clog and help it to slide down.
Shaving Cream

If you’re all out of shaving cream, you can use conditioner in place of it.
Makeup Remover
Take a washcloth with a dab of conditioner and use it to wipe your makeup off if you need some makeup remover in a pinch.
Polish Stainless Steel
Shine your stainless steel and remove fingerprints and smudges by wiping your surfaces down with a clean rag that has a dab of conditioner of it.
Detergent For Delicate Items
Fill a sink with warm water and squirt a bit of hair conditioner into it. Submerge your delicate item in the solution to hand wash items like wool, pantyhose, and underwear.
Unshrink a Sweater

Fill a sink with warm water and pour a tablespoon of hair conditioner on it. Submerge your shrunken sweater in this solution and let it soak for several hours. Squeeze out the water, then lay it flat, and stretch it out back to its original size. This only works if your sweater hasn’t been exposed to heat.

GOOD MORNING – Love this post, Miss Pat! I bet conditioner would help soften those cotton sweaters and socks that get stiff after several washings!

Good morning! Interesting alternative uses for conditioner! This was one of the rare nights when I just could not sleep, no matter what I tried. Haven’t a clue why….maybe I was just still really wound up from yesterday. Good grief, it’s humid out there! Super foggy and when I walked outside, it almost felt like light rain, it’s so wet! Temp was 72 thru the night.
Seeing the Tweets that show the off-color pics of FJB during his speech last night – it’s quite clear that the color has been manipulated and possibly the angle of the TV. In fact, it’s blatantly obvious! Done by someone on X, no doubt – I do not believe Trump or anyone on his team would do this! I despise people who put this crap out there as if it’s fricking real!!!

GP: “Trump can no longer trust government officials to keep him safe from would-be assassins.
So now, after nine years of holding campaign rallies with the American people, Trump will reportedly move his rallies inside. This will make it easier for his security team to protect him.”

“Criminals In Congress Begin Helpfully Holding Signs To Identify Themselves”
Politics · Jul 24, 2024 · BabylonBee.com
U.S. — In an effort to make identifying the various types of criminals serving in Congress easier, congressional representatives will now hold up little signs to show what sort of criminal they are.
“This will make things so much easier,” said local man John Hastings. “What a great idea by Representative Tlaib!”
According to sources, Representative Tlaib decided to begin holding up a sign to alert everyone that she openly supported the terrorist organization currently holding American citizens hostage. “We all have our various crimes. I’m more the kind when it involves armed violence against the citizens I’m supposed to represent,” explained Tlaib.
At publishing time, every single member of Congress had received a “Financial Criminal” sign to save time.

The Magic Ladders..
The FBI Doesn’t Know where the Large Ladder Is and the Short Ladder was Found Not on Scene or Crooks Vehicle • Which ladder did he use & do you have possession of the 5ft ladder? How did the tall ladder get on the scene? — FBI has possession of the 5ft ladder — FBI doesn’t have the larger ladder — we don’t know how he got on the roof. • Where was the 5ft ladder Found? — it was not on the scene — it was not in his vehicle
Questions: • So where exactly was the 5ft ladder found? If it was not on the scene or his vehicle, who moved it? Why would Crooks place the ladder off site? And how are they connecting it to the shooter? • Where is the tall ladder? Why don’t they have that? It’s Been over 10 Days and The FBI doesn’t Know anything about the Ladders… total bs

The reasons to not support Kamala Harris have nothing to do with her gender, race or how she climbed the ladder. Those arguments will get you nowhere. Consider the following when speaking to those who may be falling victim to the media’s frenzied attempt to prop her up as the savior of the country:
She fully supported Prop 47, a California initiative that decriminalized many crimes, the result of which has turned the state into a perpetual crime scene, her own city of San Francisco now being one of the most devastated.
She is fully committed to making America completely dependent on foreign energy. She has publicly stated so on numerous occasions by eagerly sharing her desire to destroy our fuel production capabilities by banning fracking and off shore drilling.
She was and is Biden’s named ‘Border Czar, despite the media’s recent attempts to discredit that known reality, a role she clearly did not take seriously given the historic levels of illegal immigrants that have now poured across our borders.
She is 100% in support of the policy of making gender transition and the irreversible body mutilation that goes along with it more accessible to children, while also supporting a policy of keeping it a secret from parents.
She is no friend to the Jewish community, having refused to meet Netanyahu, but showing full support for rioters destroying black small businesses across the country. She was so supportive of the rioters cause that she provided a payment link on her social media platforms so that they could get out of jail quickly to impose more damage on innocent business owners.

Yep, there she is! As soon as it got light outside, here’s Wheezer – she was hunkered down right in front of the patio door. I retrieved her dish (which I move inside at night) and added her tuna as she sat there, waiting patiently. When I took it out, I reached out to pet her – she arched her back up against my hand and I was able to pet down her entire back. But she also immediately turned around, as if to bite me, then allows me to pet/scratch her head again, then again turns quickly. Letting me know to be careful, don’t go too far….

Just The News: “A judge on Wednesday declined to dismiss former President Donald Trump’s defamation suit against ABC News and George Stephanopoulos. U.S. District Judge Cecilia Altonaga issued the ruling, allowing the case to advance, The Hill reported.
At issue is a claim Stephanopoulos made in March stating that Trump had been found “liable for rape” in E. Jean Carroll’s suit against him. The jury did not determine that Trump’s conduct amounted to rape.
Trump, in response, celebrated a “big win today in high Florida court against ABC Fake News, and Liddle’ George Slopadopolus.” “A power case! Before you know it, the fake news media will be forced by the courts to start telling the truth,” he wrote on Truth Social. “This is a great day for our country. MAGA2024!”
Trump first filed the suit in March, saying that “Stephanopoulos’ false, defamatory, and misleading statements about Plaintiff immediately spread like wildfire, as numerous third parties and media outlets repeated and reposted them to countless viewers.”

Just The News: “(The Center Square) — A federal judge in Missouri issued another preliminary injunction on Wednesday halting enforcement of the Biden administration’s Title IX rule. The rule issued by the Department of Education changed the word “sex” to “gender identity” and banned single-sex bathrooms and locker rooms.
A minor from Arkansas and the states of Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota asked the court for an injunction in a lawsuit filed on May 7.
U.S. District Judge Rodney W. Sippel said in his 56-page ruling that, as other courts have said, “nothing in his order limits schools from adopting their own policies. Rather, it simply prohibits defendants from demanding compliance with the Final Rule by the schools affected by this order, or imposing any consequences for such schools’ failure to comply with the Final Rule,'” Sippel quoted from other injunctions.
Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin called the injunction a victory for women and girls in Arkansas.
“Congress enacted Title IX to protect and promote educational opportunities for women and girls,” Griffin said. “This preliminary injunction halts the administration’s plan to allow men into women’s and girls’ locker rooms, restrooms, and showers. It stops the administration’s plan to allow males onto girls’ sports teams. It also protects teachers, administrators, and students from the threat of investigation or sanction for disagreeing with the gender ideology of the Biden-Harris White House. And it comes just in time before the start of the new school year.”
The rule was set to go into effect on Aug. 1. Several states have challenged the rule since it was announced in April and were also granted injunctions. The Department of Justice asked the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday to limit the injunctions to only gender identity discrimination–the part of the rule the states are challenging, according to a report in The Hill.
The states included in the DOJ’s petition are Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Virginia, West Virginia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana and Idaho, according to the report.”

doing the job Americans won’t do apparently allows illegals to send $150 BILLION in remittances to their home countries. so instead of keeping that cash in America where it was “earned”, it helps other nations’ economies. remove the incentives remove the illegals.
(i do not believe the playing fields are equal btw: illegals can work UNDER table for cash which is NOT taxed and still receive free housing, free food, free healthcare. given those caveats, many Americans might also do those jobs.)
FTA
https://decide.dev/lad/17103535770903398?pubid=ld-2842-2022&pubo=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.americanthinker.com&rid=www.americanthinker.com&width=610&path=%2Farticles%2F2024%2F07%2Fwhy_the_u_s_must_heavily_tax_remittances_from_illegals.html&x=10&y=402&embed_type=7&embed_frame_container_type=3
One of the most under-discussed drivers of illegal immigration is the explosion of remittances, which has created a major economic incentive for foreign nationals to pour into the U.S.
Immigrants of both the legal and illegal variety are coming to the U.S., earning money, and sending it back home instead of putting it into the U.S. economy. Take for example, Nicaragua, which received a record $462.4 million in remittances during the month of May, with $385.9 million coming from the U.S., according to a report cited by Breitbart News. As Breitbart points out, not only is this money not going into the U.S. economy, but it is going to a repressive, communist regime in Nicaragua supported by U.S. adversaries, including China, Russia, and Iran. This is a major problem for the U.S.; Americans have a right to expect that money earned through the American economy will go back into the American economy, not to foreign countries.
Of course, it is reasonable to expect that people who come here will send some money they earn back to family members who still live in their home countries. However, this must be done in a responsible way that benefits the U.S., and does not create harmful incentives.
Every year, hundreds of billions of dollars in remittances are sent from the U.S. to foreign countries. In 2022, India received more than $100 billion in remittances from the U.S., while Mexico received more than $60 billion. While the income earned to fund these remittances is taxable just like any other income, the remittances themselves aren’t taxed in the U.S. According to a 2019 study, the U.S. loses $150 billion annually in remittances, a number that is certainly much higher now due to the influx of mass migration that has taken place in recent years. This is a scam and yet another example of how mass migration negatively impacts the American people.
The promise of remittances creates a perverse incentive structure for foreign nationals to take the perilous journey to the U.S., especially given how far the U.S. dollar goes in foreign countries. In Mexico, for example, the minimum wage is less than $15 U.S. dollars a day. In many American cities, such as New York, which has been flooded with illegal aliens, the hourly minimum wage is $15 an hour. It’s no wonder why so many foreign nationals have deemed it worth the risk to make the dangerous trek through Latin America. For many foreign nationals who resettle in American cities, even a minimum-wage job could offer the opportunity of generational wealth to the foreigner and his family. One of the top immigration-related priorities for U.S. lawmakers should be to shut down the economic incentives that fuel illegal immigration. This starts with taxing remittances from illegal aliens at or close to 100%. Those who enter our country illegally and violate our laws should not be allowed to profit from doing so.

Just The News: “Michigan’s Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signed a bill on Tuesday that outlaws defense lawyers from using a victim’s sexual orientation or gender identity as part of their defense argument.
The bill passed the state House in a 56-54 vote, and prohibits people accused of violent crimes from claiming that their alleged victim’s perceived or actual gender identity or orientation caused them to “panic.” Michigan is now the 20th state to pass such a law.
The “panic” argument was not often used as a standalone defense, but was used with other tactics in hope of reducing sentences or lowering charges, according to The Hill.
“I have been incredibly passionate about this bill for several years, and I am elated to see it signed into law,” Democratic state Rep. Laurie Pohutsky, who sponsored the bill, said in a statement. “Protecting the future of LGBTQ+ people across Michigan is something I have been working hard to do. This bill, alongside many other monumental pieces of legislation brought forth by Michigan Democrats, is a huge step toward securing a safe and inclusive state for all Michiganders.”
Whitmer’s office said that the resolution ” significantly expands legal safeguards for the LGBTQ+ community by protecting them from violent acts of discrimination, prejudice, and hate crimes.”
It is not clear how often the “gay panic” defense is used, but Pohutsky claimed last year that Michigan is one of the top 10 states that most frequently use it, citing a statistic from the Equality Michigan Action Network.
The argument was successfully used in Texas in 2018, according to NBC News, when a man received a light sentence for stabbing his male neighbor who allegedly tried to kiss him.”

Our Take: I missed all of this because I was hosting Breaking History, then hosting the livestream of the Netanyahu special coverage. And frankly, I’m a little grateful for that, based on what little I saw of it on X.
Keep in mind that there are powerful and dark forces who want to capitalize on this moment—or any moment—to not just foment division, but psyop the public into supporting another foreign war. The best way to do that is to convince people that Netanyahu was right in his speech when he said that Hamas would come and get us in our beds here in America, if we didn’t go and get them first.
My advice is to observe and distill, but refrain from reacting. Hopefully, most of you have already had your emotions tried over the past few weeks, and don’t have the emotional capital at the moment to invest much in this nonsense.
Be discerning, and remember that just about every population on earth is having psyops run against them right now. Have faith in humanity, and do not turn on one another. Division (civil war) is the enemy’s only remaining play. Don’t give them the win. — GhostofBasedPatrickHenry

https://www.cbsnews.com/live-updates/shooting-of-trump-christopher-wray-testifies-congress/
Our Take: FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, and the opening statements set the tone for the hearing.
Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) meticulously recounted the FBI’s recent failings, outlining the many scandals and law enforcement events for which the American People are still awaiting answers.
Ranking Member Jerry Nadler (D-NY) spread blueanon conspiracy theories about political violence, claiming that the leftist that attacked Paul Pelosi was a ‘far right extremist.’ Nadler essentially declared that the attempt on President Trump’s life was not a surprise and, also, was 45’s fault. Despicable, but not surprising.
Director Wray’s open focused on how awesome and honorable the FBI is, while following the lead of officials in prior hearings and declining to answer substantive questions. This is the very essence of plausible deniability. Former USSS Director Cheatle punted substantive questions to the FBI on Monday’s Oversight Committee hearing, as did the law enforcement witnesses in Tuesday’s Homeland Security Committee hearing. That would imply that the FBI Director should have answers.
If Wray had answers, he didn’t share much. He claimed ‘ongoing investigation,’ and qualified every answer. He declined to comment on the law enforcement response on July 13.
He did share that eight shell casings were recovered from the roof, but no information on shell casings from the counter snipers. He also confirmed that Crooks had a drone that he flew over the venue multiple times, and that Crooks had done a Google search on ‘How far away Oswald was from Kennedy,’ with Wray calling the latter detail ‘significant’ as to the shooter’s ‘state of mind.’
Republicans spent most of their time talking about foreign threats on US soil, attacks on soft targets or, as Wray described, places where everyday Americans live their lives. Wray could not provide a number of how many terrorists — individuals and groups — are in our country. He danced around the questions. He also affirmed the severe lack of vetting.
Let me tell you where this is going: ‘We can’t secure the Homeland, but give us more money, and give up your rights.’ Sincerely, from all of us: No.
That being said, the matter of the government’s complete and total failure to secure the Homeland must be addressed immediately. — Ashe in America

Our Take: Well, I did say today during the post-game analysis of the Netanyahu speech that I expect him to make up every excuse he can to prevent a ceasefire deal, because he is being coerced by the radicals in his cabinet to keep the war machine going.
So now, it seems, Bibi is using Trump—or, at least, his impending return—as the next justification for keeping the gravy train rolling. He may live to regret that, though Netanyahu isn’t a dummy. He is a savvy and cunning operator.
Trump said during his rally today that everybody expects him to be nice just because he got shot—but he isn’t going to be nice. (I love him so much.)
I expect Trump to come back and break all of their toys. They did shoot him in the face. — GhostofBasedPatrickHenry

Another Take: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke with Donald Trump … after meeting with the fake Biden-Harris Regime.
Prime Minister BiBi Netanyahu will meet with Donald Trump … after meeting with the fake Biden-Harris Regime.
Prime Minister Viktor Orban met with Donald Trump … WITHOUT meeting with the fake Biden-Harris Regime during the NATO summit.
NATO countries are publicly moving to “Trump-proof” their union by cowing to demands he made more than six years ago. All for a “just in case” scenario? I don’t think so.
Normieville might not engage with these sorts of narratives as readily as those in this community, but they’re becoming more aware by the day that, whether they’re seen as friend, foe or somewhere in between where it concerns the United States, world leaders know that what came before the Devo term is coming again.
Donald Trump is already being treated as the de facto President by most of the game board. All that remains is how difficult [they] make the “smooth” transition. — Burning Bright

Some policies seek to compel educators and students to express messages that aren’t true, or ones that violate their beliefs. These unlawful directives force educators to deceive and mislead parents and students about plain truths, and to speak messages with which they disagree—or face punishment.
But don’t educators and students alike have the right to live and speak according to their beliefs, without fear of punishment? And don’t parents have the right to direct the upbringing and education of their children? Or do those rights expire once a student passes through the schoolhouse door?
