From HEALTHLINE.COM:
As a hair rinse
An apple cider vinegar hair rinse is said to remove product buildup, detangle, and add shine to your hair. Try mixing 1 part apple cider vinegar with 1 part water and pour the mixture over your hair. Leave it in for a few minutes before washing it out. If you have sensitive skin, try doing this with a weaker dilution first, since the vinegar is quite acidic.
Massaging diluted apple cider vinegar into your scalp may help get rid of dandruff. It’s unclear how effective this is, but the theory is that the acid in the vinegar could help stop the growth of the fungus Malassezia, which may contribute to dandruff.
Apple cider vinegar can be a great ingredient for a tangy sauce for your food. Try adding it to tomato-based sauces to give them a fuller flavor.
Adding vinegar to soup can help bring its flavors to life. If your favorite homemade soup tastes a little bland, try adding a little vinegar to it at the end. Add it gradually and taste as you go until you reach a flavor you’ll enjoy.

Another great use for apple cider vinegar is as a homemade weed killer. Spray undiluted vinegar on unwanted weeds in your garden to get rid of them. You can also try mixing it with soap and lemon juice to see if that makes it more effective.
Apple cider vinegar is a popular flavor and texture enhancer in baking, especially when making vegan treats that can’t include eggs. It can also add extra flavor to homemade candy and caramels.
For an alternative to hot chocolate or warm tea, mix 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 tablespoon honey and 2 tablespoons lemon juice into 12 oz hot water.
Apple cider vinegar is often said to be a useful alternative to commercial mouthwashes. Its antibacterial properties may help with bad breath, although there aren’t any studies examining how effective it is. If you try apple cider vinegar as a mouthwash, make sure you dilute it well with water (the usual amount is 1 tablespoon for every cup, or 240 ml, of water), since the acidity of the vinegar could damage your teeth.
To clean your tooth brush

To have really clean teeth, it’s worth considering how clean your toothbrush is. Given that apple cider vinegar has antibacterial properties, you can use it as a homemade cleaner for your toothbrush. To make your own toothbrush cleaner, combine half a cup water with 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar and 2 teaspoons baking soda. Mix well, then leave the head of your toothbrush in the mixture for 30 minutes. Make sure you rinse your brush well with water before you use it. Otherwise, the acidity of undiluted vinegar could damage your teeth.
Dabbing small amounts of diluted apple cider vinegar onto pimples is anecdotally claimed to be a good way to get rid of them. However, undiluted apple cider vinegar is strongly acidic and putting it directly onto your skin can cause burns.
As with acne, apple cider vinegar is claimed to be a natural agent for getting rid of warts. It’s likely effective for removing warts from skin, due to its acidic nature. However, be aware that this method is very painful, and some people who’ve tried it have required a local anesthetic.
Wiping your underarms with diluted apple cider vinegar is said to be a homemade alternative to commercially produced deodorants. That said, although it’s popular in some circles, it’s not clear how effective this is.
Rinsing your dishes in apple cider vinegar could help kill off any unwanted bacteria and keep them clean. Some people add it to their dishwater, while others put it in their dishwasher.
To get rid of fleas

Apple cider vinegar may help prevent your pet from getting fleas. It’s thought that spraying a mixture of 1 part water and 1 part apple cider vinegar onto your pet will create an environment that fleas won’t want to hang around in.
Takeaway:
Apple cider vinegar is an extremely versatile household item that has a ton of different uses. It can be a cheap and easy way to tackle many problems around your home.

Morning, Pat! Now you’ve got the heat/humidity and, meanwhile, it’s decidedly chilly here this morning – only 62 outside and raining – lightly so far – yet again! Fawns are sooo much fun to watch! Great discovery for me last night! I’ve talked before about the Banquet frozen peach pies I can only find at the HyVee grocery stores in Norfolk that are so tasty. For the first time, I tried one in the MW and it was delicious! Yeah! Sooooo much easier and faster!!! Wheezer ate more overnight – hopefully, after the wormer, I’ll see her gaining a little bit of weight soon.

Californian Workers Now Want Minimum Wage Raised to $30
Workers in the Golden State are calling for a substantial increase in minimum wage just months after Newsom’s introduction of the highly contested $20 hourly rate for all fast food workers.
Now Californians, backed by labor unions, are demanding the minimum wage be increased to $30 as their current hourly rate isn’t enough to pay for all the basic necessities in a state that continues to battle against inflation and ever-increasing prices.

Migrant mob attacks two NYPD cops who were just doing their duty and checking on unattended children: sources
A mob of migrants are facing gang assault charges after allegedly pummeling two NYPD cops outside a Queens hotel shelter, prosecutors and law enforcement sources said Tuesday.
Four men were busted after they attacked two of New York’s Finest shortly before 4:30 a.m. Monday as the cops were checking on three unattended children outside the converted Long Island City hotel that now houses asylum seekers, according to authorities.
When they asked about the unsupervised kids the men allegedly pounced on them.
Law enforcement sources told The Post that all four suspects – Juan Munoz, 25; Alejandro Munoz, 42; Karina Navarro-Chavez, 42; and Miguel Chiluisa, 23 –are migrants housed at city-funded sites.
All four were arraigned Tuesday before Judge Edward Daniels on charges of assault, attempted assault, criminal possession of a weapon, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.

Dershowitz:
Noted attorney Alan Dershowitz blasted the New York Court of Appeals Tuesday after it upheld a gag order against former President Donald Trump.
New York Judge Juan Merchan imposed an expanded gag order on April 1 after Trump criticized the judge’s daughter, Loren Merchan, in multiple posts on Truth Social, including one linking to a New York Post report on Loren Merchan’s firm helping Democratic causes raise $93 million off Trump’s indictment in the case. Dershowitz criticized the court on “The Dershow” for claiming in the decision to let the gag order stand that there was “no constitutional issue” raised by Trump’s appeal.
“I want to complain again about the New York Court of Appeals,” Dershowitz said. “They said there was no constitutional issue, no constitutional issue, when you have prior restraint against a man running for president. You know, we’ve been in existence almost 250 years. It’s hard to imagine, in 250 years, a clearer violation of the Constitution than a prior restraint against a man running for president of the United States prohibiting… him from complaining about the judge’s daughter, a law clerk, some witnesses, jurors, he’s entitled to that. More importantly, we’re entitled to that. We’re entitled to hear his points of view on that.”
WATCH:
Dershowitz then targeted the Connecticut Bar Association over a Friday release in which it claimed that calling Trump’s trial which resulted in his conviction on 34 felony counts a “sham” or describing it as “rigged” or “corrupt” had “no place in the public discourse.”
“I haven’t decided who to vote for,” Dershowitz said. “I want to hear from Donald Trump. I want to hear what he has to say about the trial. I want to hear what people involved in the trial have to say. I want a debate. I want a discussion. I want a marketplace of ideas. I don’t want the New York courts to shut the marketplace of ideas, and I don’t want the Connecticut bar to shut the marketplace of ideas.”
“Nothing is more important than freedom of speech, particularly during a presidential election, but we’re not getting that,” Dershowitz continued. “We’re getting the district attorney of New York using a criminal prosecution has a sword and then using a gag order as a shield against criticism. It’s utterly unfair and it’s utterly unconstitutional and if the New York Court of Appeals doesn’t think there’s a constitutional issue involved in prior restraint against the man running for president, come to my class in constitutional, criminal law. Come to my First Amendment class. Read my First Amendment writings, listen to my podcast, I think… read the First Amendment! Read the First Amendment!”

soreass, censorship, and SCOTUS
FTA
This censorship disease is spreading so fast, fueled by such powerful Titans of Tech, corrupted politicians, and a justice system that boasts of political prisoners, it seems impossible that the rights of “We the People” stand a chance.
According to the Daily Signal & Media Research Center
45 pro-political censorship organizations collected $80.8 million all coming from liberal financier George Soros.
Initiatives such as the State Department-backed Global Disinformation Index and news-rating company NewsGuard partner with Big Tech to deprive so-called “fake news sites” of ad dollars and user engagement. Their ratings are deeply biased.
Analysis from the Media Research Center found that NewsGuard rates liberal media outlets 27 points higher on average for trustworthiness than conservative outlets.
The Global Disinformation Index maintains a “Dynamic Exclusion List” of websites that it subjectively determines are “high risk” purveyors of “disinformation,” including at least 10 conservative-leaning media outlets.
Microsoft, partnered with the Global Disinformation Index to defund so-called disinformation groups.
Microsoft integrated the NewsGuard rating system into “numerous products,” including the company’s Edge browser, news aggregators, Bing search, and various AI-powered assistants.
The whole point is to control what the population thinks before the election. We’ve seen Microsoft partner with NewsGuard and other pro-speech censorship authoritarian organizations. We are currently watching the FBI once again engage, not surprisingly during this election year, with social media platforms to remove what they deem “misinformation,” but what we know are vital stories to an informed electorate, such as the Hunter Biden laptop story.
This suppression of alternative narratives creates a one-sided debate. As we look back in recent history, many of the narratives that were deemed misinformation turned out to be factually accurate. This type of narrative control disenfranchises the voters to make their own informed decisions when electing the next President of the United States.

this is, frankly, terrifying.
This could be something, or it could be nothing, but according to Tony Seruga, a data scientist and intelligence community whistleblower, New York Police Department uniforms, cruiser decals, and radios are going missing—in droves. See the X post below for the details:
That’s a lot of equipment, enough to supply a fleet of fake officers—as a devil’s advocate pointed out, decals are easy to make, so why steal them? Well, making decals leaves a digital footprint, but swiping them is untraceable.
I haven’t seen very many movies, but I’ve seen enough to know that criminals impersonating cops is certainly a consistent theme:
Never mind the movies though, because just two days ago, the New York Post reported on a thwarted killing spree, one in which the would-be suspected jihadist had an arsenal of weapons…and an NYPD vest. Or, consider Canada’s “worst modern-era mass shooting” which saw the perpetrator dressed in law enforcement gear and driving a replica cruiser; as The Guardian noted, the confusion caused utter chaos:
So what are the other implications? Well, my first thought is that President Trump is set to be sentenced in less than a month, and if the corrupt Judge Juan Merchan decides to send him to jail, how can we know if the cops are legitimate cops? It was a thought that actually occurred to me frequently as I watched him deliver post-trial press conferences with an array of ostensible NYPD officers in the background—I mean they could be anybody, and do I think the New York government is willing, let alone able, to take the necessary steps to ensure Trump’s safety? Absolutely not.
I mean, Jeffrey Epstein allegedly died (I need to see some better evidence than two post-mortem images, one mostly obscured by first responders and the other taken at a weird angle from above as he lay on a gurney) in New York City’s custody, and fortuitously the cameras malfunctioned, and other CCTV footage was erased “accidentally,” so as we all predicted, it was chalked up as a “suicide.” Is Trump being set up to be Epstein-ed? Or, is he being set up for assassination? We all know that they’re dangerous people who will stop at nothing to prevent him from getting back to the White House.
Seruga also highlighted a fairly recent story involving foreigners who gained access to the White House and were reportedly in the same room as Ol’ Stinky Joe on at least two occasions, all because they convincingly posed as federal officers, and buttered up Secret Service agents, including Jill Biden’s detail, with luxury gifts and amenities:
How does the case of the missing NYPD gear bode for law and order for the general public too? Is a false flag terrorist attack imminent? Isn’t Manhattan quite an enticing target? A crammed big city, lots of crime with too-few police officers, tens of thousands of new migrants from every dark corner of the world, and nearly every law-abiding peaceful person isn’t armed.
I don’t know what’s going on, but I don’t like it one bit.
Hat tip: Rusty Shackleford.

Not A Single American Has Received Biden’s High-Speed Internet Despite $42.5 Billion Funding In 2021: FCC Commissioner
JUN 18, 2024
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/not-single-american-has-received-bidens-high-speed-internet-despite-425-billion-funding
FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr slammed the Biden administration on Friday – writing on X that President Joe Biden has yet to connect a single American with high-speed internet.
“In 2021, the Biden Administration got $42.45 billion from Congress to deploy high-speed Internet to millions of Americans. Years later, it has not connected even 1 person with those funds. In fact, it now says that no construction projects will even start until 2025 at earliest,” Carr wrote.
“Meanwhile, the Biden Admin has been layering a partisan political agenda on top of this $42.45B program – a liberal wish list that has nothing to do with connecting Americans. Climate change mandates, tech biases, DEI requirements, favoring government-run networks + more.”

The reason they haven’t paid penalties on vaccines is because vaccines are IMMUNE from liability. “So you cannot, no matter how negligent that company is, no matter how reckless they are, no matter how grievous your injury, you can’t sue them.” Nothing screams “safe“ like mandating a medical product and conveniently removing the ability for people to sue if something goes wrong. U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen states that “This is not theft. There is no legal issue” in stealing Russian sovereign assets since “the assets generated income for the institution”.
Using the same logic, interest income earned on an any investment held at a financial institution, or even a savings account, could be taken from you because the “institution” considers it to be its “income”, not yours.

Well, this is a strange one…..
BEND, Ore. (KATU) — The Humane Society of Central Oregon (HSCO) has welcomed an amazing little fellow: Cinder, a tiny one-pound kitten who is a very rare male tortoiseshell cat and hermaphrodite!
HSCO said Cinder the tortoiseshell was brought to their facility as part of a relinquished litter, and based on his coat color and external genitalia he was believed to be female. He was sent to a foster home and named Cindi. Cindi’s foster family said the cat was “a typical loving, adventuresome and playful kitten.”
However, after five weeks, Cindi arrived at the HCSO again for a spay surgery only for HCSO Medical Director Crystal Bloodworth to discover the kitten did not have a uterus and ovaries, but did have two testicles – making Cindi both a rare male tortoiseshell and intersex.
“Tortoiseshell-colored cats, recognized for their striking swirls of black and shades of orange, are typically female,” HCSO explained.
Cinder via the Humane Society of Central Oregon
Dr. Bloodworth said calling the kitten a “male” is tough due to the complicated nature of DSD, but the decision was made due to the binary nature of animals and the presence of the testicles/ absence of the uterus and ovaries.
After the neuter surgery, little Cindi was renamed Cinder. HCSO said there are a lot of variations of hermaphroditism or intersex (feline DSD), and if Cinder had come to them as an adult cat, he likely would have been designated female due to his external genitalia and tortoiseshell coat.
Dr. Bloodworth said she has performed “tens of thousands of cat surgeries” in her shelter medicine career but has only seen one other male calico and only a handful of true hermaphrodite animals.
Annie Pulzone, CVT, said that in her twenty-year career, she has seen one other XXY cat, “but it is always fun to see these types of animals in one’s career because they are so rare.”
The shelter added Cinder has several families interested in having him join their family, and they expect to finalize an adoption soon.”

At the end of the day, all of those plastic holders are gathered up and taken to the CH in Pierce. At some point, they are scanned into the electronic system. The scanners are the only thing we use, although I expect the reports are submitted via the internet to the NE state offices in some fashion.
For those who have requested, and been approved for, an early ballot, the City office will gather the sealed envelopes and take those to the CH periodically for those who can’t go to the CH themselves.

“Because my life is not the same as others’…
My mother passed six years ago, give or take. Her remains were cremated and my sister took possession of them. A couple of months ago, she was ready to let go of them. She sent some to a place where they make jewelry out of them (I chose a bead) and then I took the rest to the cemetery back home.
Well, the jewelry finally came and my sister sent me a package with the bead in it. I picked it up and opened the box while I was in the car. I found the bead (nicely done) and in the package there was a bag with a little container labeled ‘eternity ring.’ So, thinking that my sister also had a ring made for me, I twist the top to open it up.
And like smoke out of Aladdin’s lamp or fairy glitter, dust drifted out in an expanding cloud (fortunately I was not holding it in my lap and it didn’t go anywhere near my face).
Yep. Ashes. Mom’s ashes. All over the inside of my car. Great googly moogly. I called my sister to confirm, hoping I was wrong. Nope. The container was the rest of the ashes.
I am pretty sure, knowing my mom, that she would think that it was hilarious. And since my life is not the same as others, I’m seeing the funny in it too. Just glad I didn’t have the AC on….and really, my car is messy enough that a little extra dust, no matter the composition, just blends right in.
Mom is now my co-pilot.” — Midwest Chick

Just The News: “Missouri GOP Attorney General Andrew Bailey announced Tuesday evening that a judge has rejected a motion by Planned Parenthood to dismiss a lawsuit filed by the state that alleges a clinic traffics minors out of state to obtain abortions.
“One step closer to eradicating Planned Parenthood from the State of Missouri,” Bailey wrote on the social media platform, X.
In February of this year, Bailey filed the lawsuit against a Planned Parenthood chapter, alleging that it has been “trafficking minors” across state lines to get abortions without parental consent.
The lawsuit accuses the Great Plains chapter of unlawful behavior, allegedly captured on camera, of staffers taking minors across state lines to get an abortion procedure without parental knowledge. The video, taken by the activist group, Project Veritas, known for its undercover videos, allegedly showed a conversation between a Planned Parenthood employee and someone impersonating an individual seeking an abortion for a 13-year-old.
Chapter President and CEO Emily Wales says the group does not provide transportation for patients.
“We will continue following state and federal laws and proudly providing Missourians with the compassionate sexual and reproductive care that remains available to them in a state with a total abortion ban,” she said, according to The Associated Press.”

“Two Final Choices for Ukraine — We can accept Vladimir Putin’s latest offer of peace talks; or we can declare ourselves offended by the very idea of it”
MATT BIVENS, M.D., JUN 19, 2024
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Here are the options the world faces in Ukraine:
We can call urgently for real peace talks …
Russian President Putin has expressed readiness. His only conditions for peace talks are that Ukraine withdraw troops from the Donbas fronts and renounce NATO membership:
Putin’s opening negotiating position reflects the reality on the ground: After more than two years of war, and at immense cost in death and destruction, Russia is firmly entrenched in the Donbas, and has been doing far better militarily than Ukraine. We don’t have to like this fact in order to act like grownups and recognize this fact.
That Russia would win any war against far smaller Ukraine was always predictable. As U.S. President Barack Obama noted ten years ago, we will never match the Kremlin’s appetite for a fight on Russia’s national border — and were we ever foolish enough to try, the result would be a wrecked Ukraine.
The pro-war contingent in Washington is clearly alarmed, and scrambling to discredit the idea of real peace talks. To that end, they just held a competing, fake “peace conference” in Switzerland involving dozens of countries — but not Russia!
“They aren’t inviting us there,” Putin observed, and it was hard not to agree with his withering assessment of this idiocy: “They think there is nothing for us to do there [at the peace conference], but at the same time they say that it’s impossible to decide anything without us. It would have been funny if it weren’t so sad.”
Switzerland recognizes the International Criminal Court, which about a year ago indicted Putin for kidnapping. This means that if the Russian president had crashed the party in the resort town of Obbürgen last week, the Swiss would have been expected to arrest him. Odd how hardly anyone mentions this.
Another sign of cracks in the Washington-dictated war facade: The New York Times this weekend finally, helpfully, published lots of draft documents of earlier peace agreements. The Times subhead about those earlier peace negotiations says: “They fizzled.” Wrong. That’s Washington-sponsored spin. The peace talks — favored by both Kyiv and Moscow — were repeatedly shut down at American government insistence. This has been testified to now by many participants and insiders, including top Ukrainian officials involved, U.S. foreign policy scholars, former German chancellor Gerhard Schroder, and former Israeli prime minister Neftali Bennet, to name but a few.
Apparently it was more fun for us to continue the war. To quote South Carolina’s lunatic senator Lindsey Graham, the Russians were “dying,” the Ukrainians were “fighting to the last person”, and it was “the best money we’ve ever spent!”
Why stop at all?… Or we can defiantly reject peace talks, as offensive to our sensibilities. If Option One is peace talks, Option Two would be to declare Putin’s opening position so upsetting that we refuse to even acknowledge it. That’s another way of saying we prefer that the war continue indefinitely.
If that’s what the
U.S. governmentworld decides, then this summer, Russia will move to take more territory — Putin may be ready to stop, but hardliners in Russia want Odesa. The horrific levels of death and destruction will rise. And the best-case scenario after all that will be some future peace deal in which Russia will still hold Donbas and Crimea! I defy anyone to explain a war-fighting scenario (as opposed to a peace negotiation) that avoids that doleful outcome. The worst-case scenarios include:
True friends of Ukraine (I count myself one) might favor a peace conference in which Russia withdraws from Donbas and even Crimea — but in return for talks on the dissolution of NATO itself. (What!? Get rid of NATO? But — who would coordinate our response to the next crisis created by NATO?)”

Oh, this is not good!!! Cutting 3K Special Ops positions!!!
EXCERPT: “Throughout fiscal 2023, the Army reclassified about 3,000 soldiers, Uribe-Huitron said. As the branch continues to fight recruitment issues and seeks to restructure itself, however, the hope is this new focus on “precision retention” will keep troops not just in the Army, but in the right places.
In February, the service announced that it would be slashing approximately 24,000 positions as it moves from specializing in counterinsurgency warfare into a more modern and versatile style of combat, with a focus on drones and cyber warfare. While the plan cuts about 3,000 jobs in the special operations community, it adds another 7,500 in specialties that can help provide air-defense and counter-drone capabilities.
“We’re moving away from counterterrorism and counterinsurgency. We want to be postured for large-scale combat operations,” Army Secretary Christine Wormuth told reporters in February. “So, we looked at where were there pieces of force structure that were probably more associated with counterinsurgency, for example, that we don’t need anymore.”
Cavalry squadrons can expect about a 10,000-troop cut, reporters were told in February, which was reflected in this week’s guidance. Troops with the 19D cavalry scout classification are considered to be part of an oversaturated field and therefore can expect to have the reclassification conversation when their reenlistment window opens….”

Mr gil relayed a conversation w a friend i think we should be aware of.
Friend’s stepson in army. Working kitchens. All his groups, friends, etc have been reclassified, no matter your job or rank, to infantry. And, they are now and have been being sent to Poland. Everyone in poland is doing daily training but nothing else.
something going on. Trying to start a war before the election, i dunno.
The reclassification stinks though.

Jeez….still cold and cloudy and only 64 but no rain at the moment! Storms, slight severe possibility, are supposed to move in late tonight, into tomorrow morning again. Yesterday’s report showed 4-5 days of sunshine coming next week but that will probably change back to rain…..
I saw a pretty pale orange – almost gold – tabby out in the back yard around the shed; he/she was walking the fence line trying to get to the field in back after sniffing all around the shed, then climbed the ash tree that butts up against the fence. Presumably it’s jumped down by now….haven’t seen Wheezer yet this morning.

Dirty Voter Rolls Are the Fuel Used to Facilitate Election Fraud
Arizona:: 500,000 – 1.3 Million Illegal Voters On The State’s Voter Rolls
“Outrageous voter registration rates with some counties exceeding 100% of eligible voters, including deceased individuals and those who have moved away.”
“Our findings reveal a staggering number of counties with more registered voters than eligible citizens.“

If your election officials are making NO attempts to do list maintenance, they are facilitating the fraud through dereliction of duty.
If they are incapable of the job, they need to resign and let someone come in that can.

ahhhhh…a puzzle piece falls into place. so they gotta hire “justice impacted” (read:felons) to install the high speed internet? gives them ample opportunities to case the house and neighborhoods, doesn’t it?

Residents in rural America are eager to access high-speed internet under a $42.5 billion federal modernization program, but not a single home or business has been connected to new broadband networks nearly three years after President Biden signed the funding into law, and no project will break ground until sometime next year.
Lawmakers and internet companies blame the slow rollout on burdensome requirements for obtaining the funds, including climate change mandates, preferences for hiring union workers and the requirement that eligible companies prioritize the employment of “justice-impacted” people with criminal records to install broadband equipment.
The Commerce Department, which is distributing the funds under the Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) program, is also attempting to regulate consumer rates, lawmakers say. This puts them at odds with internet providers and congressional Republicans, who say the law prohibits such regulation.
