National Blame Someone Else Day

I can’t believe there are actually people who come up with and campaign for these “national” days.  Nonetheless, today is National Blame Someone Else Day and I present to you their POSTER CHILD:

That’s it.  I’m done with this post.  It’s not my fault it’s so short…it’s Joe’s…LOL

    1. Well, it’s morning….that’s as far as I’ll go at the moment…after spilling my remaining coffee all over my table! Sheesh! I wasn’t even really awake yet, FFS!!! At least it didn’t totally soak my phone – just a little bit and it still works, thankfully.

      We’ve got 58 at the moment and partly cloudy but not storm clouds, thankfully. My Sis just sent me a screenshot of Piper – her singing group took the runner up position in the State singing competition. I would not have recognized her had she showed up at my door, I kid you not. She is HUGE, with black scraggly hair…..sigh….

      1. Good Morning Filly!
        sorry about you spilling your coffee…I know how you feel about coffee!
        great about the runner up position! does her favorite struggle with weight? cuz i know you don’t so i doubt HB did…

        1. It was the remains of my coffee from last night. I started shuffling things on the table w/o turning on the light. My own fault! SMH

          Actually, HB took after her Father’s Mom on weight (his Mom was a big woman, Father small) – yes, she struggled with her weight since she was 8 years old. Her Father humiliated her, making her run around and around in the yard to take off some weight. My preferred approach was to get her involved in physical activities that she enjoyed, like horseback riding, rather than embarrassing or humiliating her. Both her Dad and I were short and small-boned, which she did inherit. That put a tremendous strain on her back, which started the cascade to her death.

    NEW: Show host Bill Maher calls out Stormy Daniels for lying by playing an interview he had with her in 2018 Maher noted that Daniels’ comments from 2018 were completely different than what she said in the New York trial last week. In 2018, Daniels told Maher that she was *not* “assaulted… attacked or r*ped or coerced or blackmailed” by Trump. During the trial however, Daniels claims she “blacked out” and said Trump was “blocking the way.” “You really think she blacked out? A p*rn star is used to having s*x with people she does not know. That’s the job. She’s not a good witness,” Maher said.

    EXCLUSIVE: New Jersey Democrat Congresswoman

    @MikieSherrill

    , who told President Trump to “go back to court” in New York City (where he’s on trial under Judge Merchan) yesterday while he was having a MASSIVE rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, is a CLIENT of Judge Merchan’s daughter, Loren Merchan, who is the President of the Democrat Political Consulting firm “Authentic Campaigns”

    @Authentic_HQ

    .🚨 This is evidence of a Democrat elected official in Congress using President Trump’s trial under Judge Merchan as a form of social media content which directly financially benefits the Judge’s daughter since

    @MikieSherrill

    is paying Loren Merchan for “digital consulting”, which includes social media management for the clients of Authentic Campaigns. Over the last 9 months,

    @MikieSherrill

    has paid Judge Merchan’s daughter’s company Authentic Campaigns over $216,793.98 This is another example of yet ANOTHER conflict of interest and another reason why Judge Merchan should recuse himself from President Trump’s trial in NYC. This is ELECTION INTERFERENCE of the highest order, and it’s being carried out via malicious and unconstitutional gag orders and shady high dollar payments to a Judge’s daughter under the guise of “political digital consulting”. It’s worth noting how large the payments are by elected Democrats to Authentic Campaigns for their “services”. These rates are considered to be EXTREMELY high for “digital consulting” to a single vendor, and really reiterates the need for an independent

    @HouseGOP

    investigation into Authentic Campaigns and their bank records. Donald Trump has been gagged and threatened with arrest by Judge Merchan, all while Judge Merchan’s daughter’s clients are using her father’s position as the NY judge overseeing Trump’s trial as a way to attack President Trump online, which then turns into payments for the judge’s daughter, Loren Merchan who bills this service as “digital consulting” to her Democrat, anti-Trump clientele, which also includes the Biden-Harris campaign, the Democrat Senate Majority PAC, and

    @RepAdamSchiff

    , among many other high profile Democrats.

  3. this guy shot a bank guard in an attempt to rob the bank with his son (who is now serving life without parole). he was set to be executed but a judge says he’s too incompetent to KNOW why he’s being executed, so they can’t execute him. how does this make any sense?

      1. it’s amazing how a jury can convict him and sentence him to death and these issues were not present at trial. so they didn’t find him not guilty by reason of insanity. but now that he’s facing a definite execution, he’s gone crazy? i think he’s faking it. some lawyer probably told him what to say and do

  4. “RFK Flip Flops on Abortion AGAIN, Calls Last Week’s Position ‘Gruesome.’”

    ENTIRE ARTICLE @ National Pulse: “Robert F. Kennedy Jr., for the second time in a year, revisited his position on abortion limits in the U.S., following severe criticism from his own campaign members. In a podcast with Sage Steele, he endorsed the idea of full-term – aka “up to the point of birth” – abortions.

    However, owing to campaign backlash, Kennedy pivoted, posting on social media that abortion legality should be upheld to a specific number of weeks, thereafter imposing restrictions.

    “Even in the reddest of red states, voters reject total abortion bans,” Kennedy tweeted, adding: “And on the other end, almost no one supports gruesome third-trimester abortions except to save the life of the mother.”

    Kennedy’s shift came after Angela Stanton King, a campaign adviser, expressed shock at his backing for late-term abortions. Even Kennedy’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, shared that she wasn’t privy to his initial perspective. She insisted that Kennedy believed in imposing abortion limits.

    The campaign subsequently issued a statement stating that Kennedy believed in the mother’s final decision-making right, creating yet another contradiction.

    Kennedy’s tendency to alter his stance on abortion was observed previously when he initially supported a federal abortion ban after three months, only to retract this support mere hours later.”

    1. From what we know about the Kennedys and Bushes and their like, they are not honest, stable, good risks in our top leadership – much less the Presidency.

      However, the JØbama admin is a sicko anti-American regime – actively planning the overthrow of our nation and murder of true Americans – with all their army of imported 3rd world thugs.

    Proud to announce that I’m coming to Chicago from May 22-26.

    The black community is irate that illegal aliens are being prioritized over Americans.

    So, we’re coming to shake hands, break bread, register voters, & discuss solutions for moving forward.

  8. Blogger comment: “Let me get this straight. The owner of the car knew the EV had steering issues, then loaned it out? I don’t know about you, but if any of my vehicles have any sort of control issues like steering, brakes or acceleration, I park it until I can get it into the shop for repairs. I damned sure wouldn’t be loaning it out.”

    PLEASANTON, Calif. (KGO) — New details are emerging from the deadly car crash that killed a family of four in Pleasanton. A complaint to safety regulators raises concerns about the electric vehicle driven by the family — by car maker VinFast.

    All four members of the George family – including two young children – died in the crash in Pleasanton nearly three weeks ago. They ran into a large oak tree, then the car caught fire.

    Records from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration show days after the crash, someone filed a complaint about electric car maker VinFast with details seeming to match the Pleasanton crash. The complaint writer says they are the owner of the car, and loaned it to a coworker – the driver in the crash. The complaint also said they’d had prior issues with the car’s steering wheel going rogue.

    Investigators have said they’re looking into whether speed played a role in the crash. VinFast told us in a statement, “VinFast is aware of this tragic accident in Pleasanton and our hearts go out to the family.”

  10. That damned squirrel isn’t done with me yet! Caught her on top of the jelly feeder, hanging down and tearing the silicone dish to pieces to get at the jelly! So, it’s back to the aluminum foil pans! $30 wasted on that attempt – want a couple of silicone bundt cake pans, Pat??? Puhleeze – someone let me shoot this bitch!!! (This fricking auto-correct is getting WAY out of hand!!!)

      1. No, it’s another jimmy-rigged thing since I’m using the remnants of the original feeder. I’ve just got to stick with the aluminum foil pans until I can find the right metal pan. The rim on those is too thick for her to chew thru, and it doesn’t poke thru the openings like the silicone does. It stays flush with the inside of the cage. I’ve decided to just give up and keep using the cheap option since it works so well. Do you want the pans?

  12. “The Difference Between Friend and Foe—Trump Draws the Dividing Line”

    JOE LANGE, MAY 13, 2024

    EXCERPT: “This feature is a follow-up to ‘Who Is the Real Enemy?’

    Way back in 2018, Trump called out a country that has been painted for many decades as a friend of the United States and one of our biggest allies in the “war on terror.” Trump began bashing this specific country on Twitter and in the media in order to draw a clear dividing line for the American people.

    Trump drew a line in the sand between a friend and a foe. Which country was it?

    According to Newsweek:

    In one of his first tweets of 2018, President Donald Trump turned up the heat against a country that has been increasingly under the watchful eye of the U.S. government: Pakistan.

    “The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools,” Trump tweeted on Monday. “They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No More!”

    Trump wasn’t just criticizing Pakistan, he was also criticizing the two previous presidents for funneling $33 billion in taxpayers’ money to Pakistan and getting almost nothing in return. The “War on Terror” has cost the American people trillions of dollars and put our country into massive debt that will never be paid back. That debt burden is bankrupting our nation.

    More from Newsweek:

    The tweet came several days after the New York Times published an article suggesting the U.S. might scrap $255 million in aid for Pakistan because the country didn’t do enough to confront terrorist networks operating within its borders. The story cited a recent case where the U.S. demanded access to a captured militant from the Taliban-linked Haqqani network and the Pakistani government refused.

    Senior administration officials will decide over the coming weeks if they cut funding to the country.

    What the whole world learned about Trump as president is that he is always “America first.” He values and protects the taxpayers’ money, and he refuses to let other countries continue to take advantage of the United States….”

The temp went from 76 to 64 in that same time-span and it’s headed up now – 67 – after a few minutes of sun. Just overall thin clouds now. Gotta love my NE weather!!!

  15. “Defund the police has become defund DEI.”

    Just The News: “The University of North Carolina Board of Trustees voted unanimously at a special meeting Monday to redirect the entire $2.3 million diversity, equity and inclusion program budget to police and public safety, The News & Observer reported.

    While Chair David Boliek said the cuts were discussed before pro-Palestine protests against Israel wracked campus, trustee Marty Kotis said the disruption and related arrests made the new funding for law enforcement crucial. “It’s important to consider the needs of all 30,000 students, not just 100 or so that may want to disrupt the university’s operations,” Kotis said.

    Boliek also said the “administrative bloat in the university” would be better used to fund “rubber-meets-the-road efforts like public safety and teaching,” telling the News he expected DEI job cuts.

    Kotis called DEI “divisiveness, exclusion and indoctrination” that inhibits” more unity and togetherness, more dialogue, more diversity of thought,” WUNC reported. “When you destroy property or you take down the U.S flag and you have to put up gates around it — that costs money.”

    WUNC reported most of the Chapel Hill town council signed a letter criticizing UNC for “creat[ing] an environment that inevitably resulted in an escalation of force, including the use of pepper spray against its own students,” which “invites aggressive responses” from protesters “and only serves to escalate an already tense situation.”

    The News said the UNC Board of Governors is expected to vote next week on systemwide restrictions on DEI programs. System policy currently requires all campuses to employ one DEI senior-level administrator.

    Under the UNC System’s existing policy on diversity and inclusion, all schools in the university system are required, at a minimum, to employ one senior-level administrator who is responsible for “policy development and strategic planning to promote and advance” diversity and inclusion.

    Manhattan Institute senior fellow and DEI critic Chris Rufo praised the defunding. “It’s not 2020 anymore. ‘Defund DEI, refund the police’ is the winning slogan of the day,” he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.”

    JUST IN: Michael Cohen has just implicated himself, and not Donald Trump, during his latest line of questioning. While being questioned about his communication with National Enquirer boss David Pecker he says “depending on the conversation we figured it’d be best to remain confidential.” This is why Cohen and Pecker used the app “signal.” They apparently decided this themselves and Trump had nothing to do with that. It’s obvious Cohen made a lot of decision on his own and now wants to blame Trump. Will he be prosecuted after this? Not likely, given the fact that he signed an agreement with the prosecution.
