America’s Sweetheart: Then and Now

Every generation strives to leave its mark upon the world and if, in the process, they can shake up the old generations, all the better.  In the process though, what is lost?  In the case of whom they aspire to adore and promote and emulate?  there is MUCH to be lost. Take my above example—Doris Day versus Taylor Swift.

Doris is wholesome…

Taylor is loathsome…

Doris’s style is iconic…

Whereas Taylor’s is demonic…

Doris loves animals…

Taylor dates animals…

Now I’m sure Doris has her off days like the rest of us, but she was genuinely loved and revered.  Taylor, on the other hand, uses the men she dates as future song fodder and nothing more.  She is self-centered and spoiled and she could really learn a thing or two from watching Doris.

  1. Good Morning, Miss Pat!

The depraved death cult left are really pushing Taylor Swift as a role model for young people. Wonder what TS will look and be like in 15 years? Yet another washed up star ending her life in a drug aided suicide? I pray she will repent, renounce all her sins and turn around and surrender to Christ.

“Not All There” Joe IS running the Destroy President Trump using Lawfare campaign

‘Disturbing’ Collusion Between Biden White House and Trump Prosecutors

An explosive defense motion filed in the classified documents case detailed extensive collaboration between prosecutors and top Biden officials to get Trump. But what does Jack Smith want to hide?

But as Smith prepares for trial in Washington and southern Florida, defense attorneys have uncovered a stunning trove of evidence that contradict claims that the Biden White House had nothing to do with the unprecedented federal prosecution of a former president and Biden’s GOP rival in the 2024 general election. Emerging evidence also shows collaboration between White House officials and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ office related to her RICO indictment against Trump and several associates.

According to a lengthy defense motion filed January 16 in the classified documents case in Florida, the “disturbing” collusion extended beyond Biden’s in-house lawyers and involved multiple government agencies dating back to January 2021. Those agencies include the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), the National Security Council, the FBI’s Counterintelligence division, the intelligence community, the Secret Service, and the Department of Energy.

“The FOIA releases, coupled with other evidence scattered throughout more than 1.2 million pages of discovery, reflect close participation in the investigation by NARA and Biden Administration components such as the White House Counsel’s Office, as well as senior officials at DOJ and FBI. These revelations are disturbing but not surprising,” the attorneys wrote.

JUST IN: Donald Trump vows to launch the biggest deportation operation in American history if elected president. 🔥🔥🔥 Trump also revealed what he would do if other countries refused to take back the illegals. “On day one I will seal the border and we’ll begin the largest domestic deportation operation in the history of our country.” “If other countries say they won’t take them back… I will say: ‘Yeah. Here they come. Hold onto your britches ’cause they’re coming back.'”

Governor Jim Pillen of Nebraska, a very smart and popular Governor, who has done some really great things, came out today with a very strong letter in support of returning Nebraska’s Electoral Votes to a Winner-Take-All System. Most Nebraskans have wanted to go back to this system for a very long time, because it’s what 48 other States do – It’s what the Founders intended, and it’s right for Nebraska. Thank you Governor for your bold leadership. Let’s hope the Senate does the right thing. Nebraskans, respectfully ask your Senators to support this Great Bill!

In the disbarment trial of Trump’s former DOJ official Jeffrey Clark, VoterGA’s Garland Favorito is going over his audit of the Fulton County election.

His audit – 60% error rate – results did not match ballot images.
Tally sheet totals didn’t match the ballot images.
Found falsified tally sheets – 100 to nothing for Biden. Some were 200 to nothing, a technical impossibility. Whereas the ballot images showed a 60-40 ratio of Biden to Trump.

    voterga.org/wp-content/upl…

They found 200k duplicate scanned ballots, but ongoing research has bumped that number up to 375k.
The hand audit count was short – 17k votes had no ballot images. Dr. Spock confirmed that in the Raffensperger case, called them Cast Vote Records.

A ballot image is necessary to create a CVR. It’s not possible to have more votes than ballot images. It’s like creating votes out of thin air.

Just received a tip from a Wisconsin voter in Bayfield County.

They ran out of paper ballots & voters could only vote electronically.

Did any other WI counties run out of paper ballots?

In 2022, Luzerne County, PA ran out of paper ballots

    AND

Harris County, TX, ran out of paper ballots.

This is one reason why I’ve been pushing for early voting.

There is a history of things happening on Election Day.

NO SS taken out–no FED INC TX–nothing. they tell us lies thinking we need illegals. we do not.

Chinese Illegal Immigrant Arrested After Sneaking Onto Marine Corps Base, Refusing To Leave
    APR 02, 2024

    https://www.zerohedge.com/political/chinese-illegal-immigrant-arrested-after-refusing-leave-marine-corps-base

A Chinese national illegally in the United States was arrested last week after sneaking onto a Marine Corps base in California and refusing to leave, according to an official from US Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

In a March 29 post on X, Sector Chief Patrol Agent Gregory Bovino confirmed that agents were called out to the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California after the Chinese national entered the facility without authorization.

“Subject was confirmed to be in the country illegally,” Bovino wrote, noting that the purpose of the incursion was still under investigation.

That said, the Epoch Times has learned on background from CBP sources that the Chiense national tried to enter the base without authorization, and he was later transported to a nearby CBP station for further processing.

Twentynine Palms is the largest Marine Corps base in the country.

The breach comes amid numerous instances of Chinese nationals infiltrating US military bases over a span of several years.

For instance, two Chinese nationals were arrested for illegally entering and taking photos at a U.S. Navy base in Florida in 2020, and a recent report by The Wall Street Journal estimates that there have been more than 100 similar incidents over the past few years.

The head of the Border Patrol union recently warned about a sharp rise in the number of military-aged Chinese men crossing the U.S.–Mexico border illegally, which dovetails with CBP data. -Epoch Times

  11. “Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche Issues Bone-Chilling Message to the COVID Cartel — “You all have committed crimes.”

THE VIGILANT FOX, APR 02, 2024

    (Video)

    Transcript

“Virologist Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche issued a chilling message during an interview on the KunstlerCast podcast Friday.

He said, “If these people would now go out and say, ‘Oh, wait a minute. We have been making some mistakes. It wasn’t all right … We have to revise our opinion.’ These people would be stoned in the street.”

“They have no choice” other than to keep pushing the big lie, Dr. Bossche said.

“They have no choice. They have no choice other than to stick, even if they completely see how wrong they have been, they have no other choice. They can only hope that something will happen that will distract from this issue, that will distract me. But it won’t. It won’t. And so, they keep silent, or they just continue along the path that they have been walking along so far. But I can tell you that many of them must be desperate.”

    Bossche continued.

“Being together, they feel protected. This is a big lobby. And they think that everybody thinks that the other will protect them, right? Which is not the case. But this is this typical feeling. You all have committed crimes, but you are a big rope. And it’s like the mafia, and you feel all together, you feel like a big team, and nobody can penetrate into the team, et cetera. It will collapse because the truth will surface.”

  12. “DID YOU KNOW? Biden’s Campaign Manager is Grandkid of Militant Maoist Cesar Chavez”

National Pulse: “Joe Biden’s campaign manager, Julie Chávez Rodríguez, is the granddaughter of radical leftist organizer Cesar Chavez, whose bust was installed in the Oval Office by Joe Biden after he threw out the Winston Churchill bust restored by Donald Trump.

Chávez Rodríguez has boasted she was “exposed to social justice issues” by her grandfather from the age of five, “participating in marches, picket lines, and community meetings, as well as other activities and organizing campaigns.

She helped lead the Cesar E. Chavez E. Foundation after his death — collaborating with the now-defunct Mobilize the Immigrant Vote campaign — while her father, Arturo Chavez, took over Chavez’s United Farm Workers (UFW) union.

As head of the UFW, Chavez styled himself as a “community organizer” rather than a labor leader, governing in an authoritarian style. He drew inspiration on wielding power effectively from Niccolò Machiavelli, Adolf Hitler, and especially Mao Zedong, even quoting the Chinese dictator at meetings.

There was an ethno-nationalist flavor to his activism, too, with non-Mexican farm workers feeling the UFW favored Mexicans over them, and that Chavez’s Mexican identity was more important to him than the union.‘I GOT TO BE THE KING.’

Chavez also orchestrated purges in which even his close friends and associates found themselves ritually humiliated and driven from his organization. He once declared: “I got to be the … king, or I’ll leave.”

In later life, Chavez took on messianic delusions, having himself become enthralled with the cult leader Charles Dederich. He built a close relationship with the Filipino dictator Ferdinand Marcos in the 1970s, saying he was impressed by the effects of martial law in the Philippines and accepting an award from the despot.

Nevertheless, Chavez received a posthumous Medal of Freedom from Bill Clinton in 1994.

One difference with his granddaughter was his opposition to illegal immigration, which he regarded as a means of strike-breaking. While Chávez Rodríguez has championed DACA and other policies tending to encourage mass migration, her grandfather had his members effectively picket the southern border to prevent crossings, sometimes resulting in violent scenes.”

      1. They should print the same number as are registered to vote in each election w/a small percentage of overage. Any “new” voters should get ballots marked as “provisional,” if at all. Personally, IMO, if you can’t drum up enough incentive to register, you shouldn’t be voting!

        1. agree. I think the state could do that. the precincts would have to have their own (again printed by the state to get the best price and ensure accuracy) for local races held at that time.

Reading Jack Smith’s response on jury instructions and it’s clear that the gloves are off btw DOJ and Judge Cannon.

One defense attorney just told me: “The tone Smith is taking with Cannon is no longer persuasion but outright threats. Unheard of dynamic btw DOJ and the bench.”

Jack Smith’s response is hysterical (and not in a funny way in a desperate way) bc he knows he has little control over her decision related to final jury instructions.

And he is arguing the basis for Trump’s “unauthorized possession” of national defense material rests on Obama exec order not the Presidential Records Act.

So everyone who cried for months that “DRUMPF BROKE THE PRA!” can sit down. Jack Smith says PRA now has nothing to do with the case.

Also reminder of the bait and switch here. NARA sought files based on the claims Trump was violating the PRA. He produced 15 boxes of papers. NARA then claimed they found records with “classified markings” and sent a criminal referral (1st time ever) to FBI.

FBI promptly opened investigation. FBI sent a subpoena to Trump in May 2022 seeking more records with “classified markings.” They turned over 38 more files.

Then in August, FBI sought search warrant seeking “national defense information.” Reminder too we have not seen full unredacted application for search warrant.

Did DOJ seek warrant under the PRA or the Espionage Act or Obama’s Exec Order or….what?

I will separate out Smith’s threats to Cannon (unusual and toothless for the most part) later but this is basically the jury instructions DOJ wants to use.

This also might be a problem for DOJ bc it appears Trump still had Q security clearance at Dept. of Energy–one that DOE retroactively rescinded after Smith indicted Trump.

Also during March 14 hearing, DOJ claimed there was no formal process for a president to either receive or lose security clearance. So this might be another area of contention

This is why Smith is so angry–he knows if Cannon proceeds with the proposed scenario presented in her jury instructions order, he is, as one defense attorney told me at the time, f*cked.

He essentially demands that she rule now on jury instructions (she doesn’t have to) or dismiss the counts so he can appeal. If she doesn’t, he might seek “mandamus” at appellate court–asking 11th Circuit to tell Cannon what to do in the case. Very rare.

A reminder that this is Smith’s indictment.

Charged a former president for the first time on violating the Espionage Act.

Now Smith’s wants the jury to interpret the language of the law based on Obama’s Executive Order not the Presidential Records Act.

In 2020, Georgia ran an illegal election. – Missing chain of custody docs – Missing surveillance tapes of drop boxes – Signature verification errors – Dirty voter rolls, invalid votes – Double scanned ballots (in initial count) – Fulton County ballots scanned w/o election observers You can quibble about “rigged” or “stolen,” but you cannot argue that election laws were followed. (It is obvious that an election is “rigged” when the laws systematically are not followed and it favors one party over another.) Americans cannot trust elections with mass mail-in ballots when the system is ripe with opportunities for malfeasance and fraud.

  17. I love following your blog. I get lots of news and information about other peoples’ versions of the news–always with a sense of humor, which I believe is the greatest indication of intelligence.

My Opinion about Trump: He is a straight shooter, which pisses many people off, but I like it that he is provocative. I also like your mentioning Doris Day’s Aries birthday, giving this icon a deserved place in fond recollections of Boomers like me.

Trump, by the way, is a Gemini with Leo rising, which gives him adaptability but with a fiery spirit that mixes humor with fire. His patriotism is evident with his prominent Cancer placements at the apex of his chart.

That written, I have an idea about how to deal with the immigration problem, to wit: Okay to send people back home, but where is home? Central or South America? Send to the capitals of each country, to offer them as workers to fix their governments. The pot-hole fixers who drowned in the recent Baltimore Bridge collapse were from El Savador, I believe. Did they choose to come here?

My point is that many are conned into coming here by shysters who sell them lies, then dump them where they are not wanted. Who wins in this deal?

Raining here this morning, but supposed to clear up later today. Hope for some sunny skies this week.

Made a couple of dresses for myself and baby clothes for my son. I then moved to crocheting when I was in the Army; my last foray was a LOT of latch hook wall hangings, which are all over my walls here. I still have the first one I picked up at a local Walgreen’s of a Belgian tiger in 1980 – I worked on it every day during the last month of my pregnancy with my daughter. It’s huge – 3′ X 5′. I also have 3 other tigers.

But I’m not very domesticated at all – I much prefer to have my hands in the dirt or doing ANYTHING outside! I love growing things and trying out different groupings and placements of flowers and bushes. Given my health issues at the moment, the only thing I grow now in my “veggie” garden is cantaloupe and my asparagus bed is still going. I used to grow peas, carrots, radishes, squash, cukes, cilantro…..but I can’t taste any of them any more and have no teeth so…..there’s not much I can eat these days.

Pat, I question new federal government funding for anything. We already have too many bureaucracies that have nothing better to do than tell other people what to do. Yesterday I was researching the Interior Dept. and its call for hunters in the northwest to shoot barred owls, because Sectretary Deb Haaland says they are displacing spotted owls. How did the federal government get involved in the owl problem in California? Maybe export Deb Haaland to El Salvador to negotiate for the displaced migrants, instead.

      1. I’ve been thinking all day about your question. I had reason to travel east and west on I-20, I-40, I-70 and I-80 as well as North and South through Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas in the late 1970s. I remember how windy those plains states were and that they were on major flight paths for Canada geese.

I agree that huge wind farms or solar farms are impractical, as well as dangerous, mainly because of the problems with distribution of the power and maintenance of the systems. I guess the wind farms deteriorate quickly, leaving huge messes and the problems of hauling away that fiberglass debris.

      1. Filly, You are speaking my language. The levels of bureaucracy in the dis-united states astound me, because there is so much competition between them that elected officials have no real function, except to make more confusing laws, create new bureaucracies, and waste more future money funding wars in foreign countries.

Regarding needlework: I have dabbled in all you mentioned except quilting, but hated it. Like you, I would rather be outside, and have had gardens, sort of, in all the places I’ve lived, until now. Colorado was great for strawberries. Atlanta was good for flowers, like miniature roses, and violets, which I grew under a neon bulb indoors. Back in Savannah, I’ve grown multiple herbs, including several varieties of mint and stevia. I have a lone grapefruit tree that I’ve transplanted several times but is blooming now. One blueberry bush that is also blooming, some asparagus that my mother planted before I can remember that was lost and forgotten until a friend found the plants near the river.

But we have the greatest insect population in the world, and caterpillars that like the leaves of fruit trees. The birds and squirrels have found the blueberries and figs, and weather has been so erratic that nothing lasts long enough to produce anything pretty or edible. One of the hurricanes knocked over a banana tree that had green bananas on it.

The rain is stopping now, and I’m losing charge on the cell phone. Happy Wednesday.

  19. “Diddy’s horrifying Appearance on Nickelodeon — Examining an Episode of Diddy on All That”

PEPE LIVES MATTER, APR 03, 2024

EXCERPT: “You’re not going to believe this. Diddy went onto Nickelodeon’s All That show in 2002 and the sexual jokes were blatant and disturbing. The red pills are merging together into one devastating awakening pill and nothing can stop it.

Dan Schneider last month: “All these jokes. Every one of those jokes was written for a kid audience because kids thought they were funny and only funny.”

Diddy on Schneider’s All That show: *Tells kid to put helicopter down his pants while he has white cream spread all over him*

Dan Schneider told us that all the jokes were made for kids and the kids thought they were funny. How could this be? He wouldn’t lie to us would he?

This is weird as hell. Another skit on this same episode shows a giant Diddy peaking through a child’s window and the terror of the kid in the early morning. You can hear Diddy saying: “Quiet or your mom will hear you.” Um… What?

So the kid is waking up to an enormous Diddy in complete terror? Is this like when Drake had to wake up to the man who was pen pals with a serial killer clown? Who is writing these jokes? I was told these jokes were just for children.

This is especially strange when you consider the other facts about Diddy that have recently emerged. Such as his odd relationship with Justin Bieber and Usher when they were just children. It’s as if he was a handler of some sort and now we know, allegedly, that he was a federal informant while running his gay blackmail operation. What did Dan Schneider know about Diddy? Why were there so many pedophiles on the set of Nickelodeon? …..”

A week after state Sen. Brandon Creighton warned Texas university system administrators about the state’s expectations for higher education institutions to comply with Senate Bill 17 — an anti-DEI law that went into effect in January — the University of Texas has laid off at least 60 staff members who previously worked in diversity, equity and inclusion-related positions, according to three people with knowledge of the terminations.

UT has not confirmed to the American-Statesman the number of staff positions that have been eliminated or how many employees will be laid off, but on Tuesday afternoon, a person with knowledge of the terminations said at least 60 people have lost their jobs, 40 of them in the Division of Campus and Community Engagement alone. The layoffs are effective in 90 days or more, people familiar with the terminations told the Statesman. UT did not respond to a Statesman request for comment.

Merchan’s adult daughter is a Democrat political operative who has financially benefited from her father’s unprecedented trial of President Trump. When Trump raised this additional evidence of Judge Merchan’s bias, Merchan retaliated by expanding his unconstitutional gag order on Trump. The law and common sense absolutely requires Judge Merchan’s recusal from President Trump’s trial. 23. “House Freedom Caucus Members Earmarked Nearly $1 Billion From Taxpayers — The “fiscal conservative” earmarks dwarfed the $224 million from The Squad.”

    ADAM ANDRZEJEWSKI, APR 03, 2024

The House Freedom Caucus was founded in 2015. Self-styled fiscal conservatives promoted themselves as a bulwark against establishment spending that would bankrupt the nation.

It turns out that many are better at breaking their promises than stopping spending. In these hyper-partisan times, we discovered 22 of the 49 Freedom Caucus members standing shoulder-to-shoulder with The Squad, whose earmarking we reported last week.

Nearly half the Caucus members are cross-dressing as fiscal conservatives – making 210 earmark requests for pet projects in their districts. Even House Speaker Mike Johnson (LA), erstwhile Freedom Caucus member, earmarked $60 million last year and $7 million in 2024.

Bulwark against profligacy? More like Fortress Spend.

Earmarking is a practice that gives individual members with clout in their caucus a ticket to goodies for the folks back home – funding pet projects that otherwise aren’t passing muster despite the seemingly infinite number of federal programs.

Incredibly, members of the conservative Freedom Caucus, the progressive Squad, and the uni-party establishment are an alliance that wasted a stunning $32 billion on earmarks since 2023.

“There is no left or right only up or down.” – Ronald Reagan

House Freedom Caucus members captured $957 million for their own districts using 210 earmarks scattered throughout the omnibus bills in 2023 and 2024. Download the line-by-line database here.

Every dime of these bipartisan earmarks drains the U.S. Treasury from the left and the right. Our auditors at OpenTheBooks.com, an organization I founded and lead, searched out their earmarks and added up the tab.

    COMPARISON VS. THE SQUAD

Recently, our auditors quantified the earmarks doled out by the eight members of The Squad, an aggressive group of democratic socialists, who earmarked $224 million on 215 pet projects since 2023. This year, it was $13.9 million for the average Squad member and $111.4 million in total.

In 2024, the individual hauls for the 22 Freedom Caucus members dwarf those of the Squad. These “freedom fighters” earmarked an average of $23.1 million each for a grand total of $508.9 million……”

  25. Just The News: “A judge on Wednesday rejected a request from former President Donald Trump to pause proceedings in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s prosecution of him for allegedly falsifying business records.

The trial is slated for April 15 and has already been delayed once. It was initially set to begin in March, though a judge permitted an extension to allow attorneys to review an unexpected dump of potentially relevant files.

The New York judge on Wednesday declined to delay the case until the Supreme Court hears his claims to enjoy presidential immunity from prosecution in special counsel Jack Smith’s election case, Reuters reported. Oral arguments are scheduled for April 25 on that matter.”

In the disbarment trial of Trump’s former DOJ official Jeffrey Clark, operational security expert Harry Houry is discussing how he was present when Bill Barr called Tony Shaffer of the Amistad Project all irate and told them to stand down on looking into the USPS contractor who drove ballots from NY to PA.
