    1. Good morning! Sent you an e-mail. Well, well, our days of 60-70 degree weather are at an end. Sioux City broke a record for high temps yesterday that was set in 1879 – 75 then, 77 yesterday. Today, I’m sitting at 37 (it was 38 five minutes ago), with high wind and the temp plunging thru the day to a low tonight of 8, some possible snow. Then the temps rise again until Sunday with possibly 74, followed by a high on Monday of only 38. Crazy shit!!!

    1. Nevermind the big F-U Biden is sending to people who didn’t go to federally-controlled indoctrination college or who paid off their loans. Think about the precedent it’s setting. Any president can bypass Congress to spend money, ignoring explicit words in the Constitution preventing him from having this power, and ignoring a recent Supreme Court decision that said outright he couldn’t do this. It’s giving power equivalent to that of a dictator or king, with the purposely constructed check’n’balance eliminated. This is where the “speaking truth to power” mainstream media is supposed to raise hell, but where they’re once again showing their slave status to the Ruling Class. What if Trump unilaterally cancelled the loans of oil companies to help lower gas prices? What if he cancelled the judgements against Alex Jones and Rudy Guliani? What if he reinstated all the medical licenses of those who were cancelled for questioning the Covid vaccine or recommending alternative treatments like Ivermectin? Courts would likely raise hell and declare these Trump actions unconstitutional. However, Biden has now set the precedent–you can ignore the courts and do whatever you want if it buys you the voting blocks you need.

    Laura Loomer caught another RINO plant, the man running for a Senator in Nevada, and the leading candidate on the GOP primary ticket is backed bigly by McConnell, John Bolton money people – kind of what Harry Reid pulled when the Tea Party first appeared, and what McConnell pulled in the Alabama election that kept RINO’s in their seats;

thank you Laura Loomer for doing the deep dives. Have missed seeing Katica’s deep dives on the down-ticket primary races, nice to see others are stepping into fill that void.

Judge: Law partner must testify about Wade’s relationship with Willis

Terrence Bradley, Nathan Wade’s former business partner and former divorce attorney, enters the courtroom before meeting with Judge Scott McAfee in the Fulton County Courthouse, Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, in Atlanta.

    https://www.ajc.com/politics/judge-wades-law-partner-must-testify-about-relationship-with-willis/FQLTCWX75JBG7AX3O4GVWEMFHE/

A judge has determined that Nathan Wade’s former law partner and divorce lawyer must tell the court what he knows about the special prosecutor’s relationship with District Attorney Fani Willis – a decision that could produce more bombshell testimony as defense attorneys seek to disqualify the DA from prosecuting the Fulton County election interference case.

Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee’s chambers notified attorneys in the case by email late Monday that certain communications Terrence Bradley had with Wade are not protected by attorney-client privilege, according to numerous people who read the email. Bradley could be compelled to testify as soon as Tuesday afternoon. McAfee’s decision followed a closed-door meeting between the judge and Bradley on Monday that lasted nearly an hour and 20 minutes.

A spokesman for Willis said the DA’s office cannot comment except in court.

  3. wonder if his retirement has any bearing on his making this move now?

    FTA

Rep. Ken Buck introduced a measure Monday that called on Vice President Kamala Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove President Joe Biden from office, a surprising move from a Republican who has been publicly skeptical about impeachment.

Buck’s (R-Colo.) resolution urges Harris to convene the Cabinet to “declare what is obvious to a horrified Nation: That the President is unable to successfully discharge the duties and powers of his office.”

The retiring conservative has questioned both of House Republicans’ impeachment efforts. He was one of three GOP lawmakers to vote against a recommendation to boot Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas that passed the House earlier this month and has faulted his colleagues for failing to provide a credible link to date that would support impeaching the president.

        1. Sharyl Atkkisson interviewed him right after he was elected and he was astonished at how much the reps are required to do by “the Party.” Certain number of hours making phone calls, fund raising at required levels, etc., etc., etc. The “rules” are fricking insane and soooo complicated!

Mark Levin: Schweizer’s ‘Blood Money’ Is ‘Jaw-Dropping

    https://www.breitbart.com/clips/2024/02/25/mark-levin-schweizers-blood-money-is-jaw-dropping/

Schweizer said, “Yeah, I mean, you look at a situation like the fentanyl crisis, it’s killing 100,000 Americans a year. And a lot of people know that the precursors come from China. What they don’t know is that China is involved in every single chain in this link that leads to the deaths of Americans. The precursors come to a port at the port of Manzanillo in Mexico. It’s run by a Chinese company. They send those precursors up to a small border town in Mexico, where 2000 Chinese nationals help them turn it into fentanyl. They take pill presses that are imported from China, that are sold to the drug cartels at cost by the Chinese. They make these pills. They then bring them across the border into the United States.”

He continued, “Now, the Mexican cartels need a way to communicate securely, Mark. They use Chinese apps and Chinese communication devices because they know the Chinese will not share that information with American law enforcement. And finally, when these drug cartels collect all this money they used to launder back in the old days with cocaine, they used to launder those profits in the Latin American banks. Today, they launder them in Chinese banks. So the fentanyl crisis is complete li one that is delivered from China. And the problem is our political leaders, people like Joe Biden, people like Gavin Newsom, people like Adam Schiff have ties. They have entanglements to some of the networks that are involved in this process, money laundering, etc.”

Schweizer added, “If you just look at Joe Biden, for example, Mark, the the Chinese gangster that set up the Sinaloa cartel with fentanyl made them the kings of fentanyl is a guy named Zong on Lo. He goes by the name White Wolf. White Wolf has a business partner. That business partner gave the Biden family $5 million. So does Joe Biden really want to have a conversation about Chinese involvement in the financial crisis? He does not, and his policies show it.”

    1. Very interesting! I never understood the China connection, having been inundated for years with “cartels, cartels, cartels.” That explains it quite well. But, then, Schweizer is good at that.

“Barbara Loe Fisher is a longtime advocate of informed consent and free choice for any medical procedures, and in particular vaccines, that carry risk of injury or death. She has spoken on mainstream TV news, such as NBC and FOX; testified to state legislatures and the House of Representatives; and authored books on the topic of vaccine injury, vaccine death, and medical mandates. Ms. Fisher wrote an excellent chapter for my book “Lies My Gov’t Told Me” titled: The Moral Right to Conscientious, Philosophical, and Personal Belief: Exemption to Vaccination” and so, I owe her a huge debt of gratitude.”

  8. I’m not going to say this at M’s since I know her goal is to keep hope alive. But…TBH, I am frankly sick and tired of this little game being played about those notes/envelopes passed to everyone at Bush’s funeral. It could just as easily be some kind of conciliatory notes from Trump – even that would make them all turn up their noses! Until someone comes out with PROOF of what was in the envelopes, that’s what I’m going with!

  12. I record the series “Long Lost Family,” about kids who were adopted and are looking for their birth parents, sister, brother, etc. The one thing that really ticks me off is that they delay the reunions unnecessarily just for the TV show. Today, there is one where the oldest daughter out of 7 children was looking for one of her sisters – she tried to adopt her but she was only 18 and the court said she was too young. Turns out, that sister was also looking for her and they only live 2 miles apart. You would think they would just pick up the phone, call her and immediately get them together. But no….they have to draaaag it all out!!! Such BS!!!

  13. Paxton challenged Omnibus bill voted on in 2022 without a quorum in the House and won!

    FTA

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton secured a major victory in defense of the United States Constitution, with a court ruling that the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending package was unlawfully passed by the U.S. House of Representatives in 2022 without a quorum physically present as constitutionally required. The Court enjoined the defendants—the United States Attorney General, the United States Department of Justice, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and their officials—from enforcing a provision of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 against the State of Texas that was proved to impose unjust cost burdens on the State.

The Quorum Clause of the U.S. Constitution mandates that the chambers of Congress must have a majority of members physically present to constitute a quorum before most official business may be conducted. However, in December 2022, fewer than half of the House of Representatives were physically present when they passed the $1.7 trillion Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023, with those not present voting by proxy. When President Joe Biden signed the illegally passed law, Attorney General Paxton sued and sought an injunction against the implementation of certain provisions of the law affecting the State of Texas.

“Congress acted egregiously by passing the largest spending bill in U.S. history with fewer than half the members of the House bothering to do their jobs, show up, and vote in person,” said Attorney General Paxton. “Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi abused proxy voting under the pretext of COVID-19 to pass this law, then Biden signed it, knowing they violated the Constitution. This was a stunning violation of the rule of law. I am relieved the Court upheld the Constitution.”

The Texas Public Policy Foundation served as co-counsel. “This meticulous, 120-page opinion was written after a full trial on the merits,” said TPPF senior attorney Matt Miller. “The Court correctly concluded that the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 violated the Quorum Clause of the U.S. Constitution because a majority of House members was not physically present when the $1.7 trillion spending bill was passed. Proxy voting is unconstitutional.”
