When my kids started high school, the school had 2 “fun” fundraisers for the local Rescue Mission during the year. One, in the spring, was the egg drop. Participants paid an entry fee, (as well as spectators), and had to develop a method for their egg (supplied by the school so no fake ones allowed) to be dropped from the top of the high school and land unbroken below. (There was a metal railing and plenty of adults ensuring the safety of all involved.)

The second was the turkey toss.

Again, the school provided several frozen turkeys to be used by contestants, either singly or as a team, to fling their turkey as far down the football field as possible. The entrants and spectators, again, paid a fee and there were additional donation boxes provided to bring canned goods for the Mission. The rules were simple: your method had to be human powered—no electric anything– and you could start all the way down the opposite end of the field if you wanted a running start–but you had to “launch” your frozen turkey from the 50-yard line.
The first year we went, neither of my kids participated, but we had a great time! Mostly the contestants were athletes trying to throw the frozen birds like a football. Winner of the event got his picture and a write up in yearbook.
The following summer, my son and 2 of his friends spent a lot of their spare time helping a neighbor down the street from us clear out his garage. My son stored all sorts of pieces of wood and a jar of odd nuts and bolts in our garage. And then they began to tinker with it all. Whatever they were doing was a big secret and they covered it with a tarp they begged hubby for. We all promised not to peek until they were ready. One afternoon after school started, the whole thing just disappeared.
And then the mystery deepened. We got this funny “invitation” on our front door—apparently the entire neighborhood got the same invitation—to go to the wedding venue parking lot at the bend in the road this Saturday morning for the “unveiling”.
The entire neighborhood it seemed had gathered there to see what the young men had cooked up. It was their turkey toss entry…a trebuchet!

Theirs was a little cruder than the above drawing, but still looked basically the same—except theirs didn’t have its own wheels. They had theirs strapped to 2 mechanic’s dollies to transport it. We watched and cheered as they flung their frozen turkey all the way from one end of the parking lot to the other. They were a shoe-in to win the turkey toss!
On the Saturday of the contest, hubby loaded up their pieces—it came apart for easy transport—and their tools and drove them to the high school to set it up very early. They covered it and took turns guarding it till the start of the contest. When it was finally their turn, they moved it to the 50-yard line and uncovered it. The crowd was stunned…and then they launched their turkey. It CLEARED the uprights in the end zone! The judges then asked the boys if they wanted to move their contraption BACK so they could really establish a winning distance…they readily agreed! They set the school record that morning for the turkey toss. Got their names and pictures in the newspaper as well.

Morning, Pat! Wow! Now those were some truly ingenuous kids!!!

A.G. Letitia Peekaboo James is running for Governor of New York AGAIN!!! That is why she, with the help of a very complicit Judge Engoron, who has cut my Values to a tiny fraction of what they are really worth in order to claim FRAUD, has brought this ridiculous case against me. Other businesses are seeing this miscarriage of justice and fleeing New York! Violent Crime is not fleeing, however. It is setting new records on a daily basis!!!

“No Cease Fire as UK Prime Minister’s Family Signs Deal with Israel for Gaza’s Natural Gas”

November 17, 2023 RT and Jimmy Dore 8
(UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and wife Akshata Murthy, Youtube screenshot)
EXCERPT: “Off the coast of Gaza sits $453 billion in liquefied natural gas and 1.5 billion barrels of oil. Israel’s interest in driving the Palestinians out of the Gaza Strip may have more to do with money than religion or terrorism.
Jimmy Dore discovered that UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is married to the daughter of Narayan Murthy, an Indian billionaire and co-founder of IT services giant Infosys. Rishi Sunak’s family business through his father-in-law recently inked a $1.5 billion deal to exploit the natural gas resources off the coast of Gaza — a deal that will only proceed if Israel is in possession and control of the Gaza coast. Dore speculated that this is why western nations haven’t applied more pressure on Israel to declare a ceasefire in Gaza….”

what UTTER BULLSHIT! judge in Colorado says President Trump incited the insurrection, but she is not keeping him off the ballot. it will be appealed.
FTA
A Colorado judge on Friday found that former President Donald Trump engaged in insurrection during the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol but rejected an effort to keep him off the state’s primary ballot because it’s unclear whether a Civil War-era Constitutional amendment barring insurrectionists from public office applies to the presidency.
The lawsuit, brought by a left-leaning group on behalf of a group of Republican and independent Colorado voters, contended that Trump’s actions related to the attack ran afoul of a clause in the 14th Amendment that prevents anyone from holding office who “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the Constitution.
The decision by District Judge Sarah B. Wallace is the third ruling in a little over a week against lawsuits seeking to knock Trump off the ballot by citing Section 3 of the amendment. The Minnesota Supreme Court last week said Trump could remain on the primary ballot because political parties have sole choice over who appears, while a Michigan judge ruled that Congress is the proper forum for deciding whether Section 3 applies to Trump.
In her decision, Wallace said she found that Trump did in fact “engage in insurrection” on Jan. 6 and rejected his attorneys’ arguments that he was simply engaging in free speech. Normally, that would be enough to disqualify him under Section 3, but she said she couldn’t do so for a presidential candidate.
Section 3 does not specifically refer to the presidency, as it does members of the U.S. Senate or House of Representatives. Instead, the clause refers to “elector of President and Vice President,” along with civil and military offices.
“Part of the Court’s decision is its reluctance to embrace an interpretation which would disqualify a presidential candidate without a clear, unmistakable indication that such is the intent of Section Three,” the judge wrote in the 102-page ruling.
Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung called the ruling “another nail in the coffin of the un-American ballot challenges.”
“These cases represent the most cynical and blatant political attempts to interfere with the upcoming presidential election by desperate Democrats,” Cheung said in a statement.
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, the group that filed the case, said they would appeal to the Colorado Supreme Court.
snip
Legal experts said it was significant that Wallace found Trump had engaged in insurrection. She wrote that she agreed with the petitioners’ claim that he “incited” the attack.

and i think it used to be for population control. it’s limited in time. but with the black bears migrating south because of more readily available food sources (garbage) it really can’t be a population thing much longer

BioClandestine:
Now that we have the tapes proving January 6th was not the violent insurrection we were told it was, let me enlighten you on what ACTUALLY happened that day.
Flashback to January 4th, 2021. Pence promised that he was going to “hear the objections and evidence”, in reference to the massive irregularities and voter fraud in the 2020 election (video below).
Pence never got to hear those electors air their objections or evidence. The January 6th event at the Capitol was the means Pence used to justify NOT giving electors their day in Congress. Pence claimed the acts by Trump and his supporters were so heinous, that he was just going to certify the election the next day.
Well, now that we have the January 6th tapes, it is clear this event was facilitated and coordinated by elements within our own government, and the evidence of this was intentionally withheld from the American People in order to continue perpetuating this massive lie.
You witnessed an insurrection on January 6th 2021, but it wasn’t by Trump supporters. It was by establishment politicians, elements within the intelligence community, and State-controlled MSM outlets, who coordinated to generate, escalate, and exaggerate the situation in order to avoid electors airing their objections, in order to certify a stolen election. You witnessed treason and war waged on the American People.
That’s what happened on January 6th. Our nation was stolen from us by corrupt elements within our own government. And all the hatred, discrimination, censorship, and vitriol towards Trump supporters, ALL of it was based on a lie.
You best start believing in Orwellian dystopias. You’re in one.

“It’s about friggin’ time this administration starts doing shit for people who’ve actually served this country instead of coddling these little cry-baby philosophy majors who don’t want to repay loans they themselves commited to. NPR.org is reporting that the Department of Veterans Affairs is halting foreclosures for 6 months for veterans and servicemembers who have VA Loans.
The move follows an investigation by NPR that found thousands of veterans who took what’s called a COVID forbearance are now at risk of losing their homes through no fault of their own. “Helping Veterans and their families stay in their homes is a top priority at VA. We are calling on mortgage servicers to pause foreclosures of VA-guaranteed loans through May 31, 2024.”
The forbearance program was set up by Congress after the pandemic hit in order to let people who suffered a loss of income skip mortgage payments for six or 12 months, and then have an affordable way to start paying their mortgage again.
It’s the same old story – government does stupid shit and forces people into untenable positions, then the government has to step back in to fix what they themselves fucked up.”

#TxLege passed #SB4 —This scene will likely unfold differently once @GovAbbott
signs it into law—The law enforcement along the banks and elsewhere will have the authority to arrest undocumented individuals who cross into Texas illegally.
Migrants will then be released to a magistrate who will provide legal counsel/translation and give them the option to return to Mexico or face a class B misdemeanor and ultimately be removed—If they returned it would be classified as a felony.
Opponents say it is a “show me your papers” bill and opens the door for racial profiling. @DavidSpillerTX
says that is not the case—Law enforcement have to prove they crossed into Texas illegally.

Steve wrote this @ W’s about BudLight: “I wrote that months ago, and they are casting about now trying to figure out how to get people to come back. However the one thing that might work (an abject admission that they were wrong to even think of doing this) is the one thing they cannot do. Because the decision makers are woke and cannot conceive that they were actually fuckheadedly wrong to do this.”
Of course, YMMV but….People need to realize: this is NOT their choice! They are over a barrel in more ways than one: the current administration will come down on them legislatively and legally any way they can but even more than that is the financial hurdle. They have to do what their financiers require them to do, ala Black Rock-size organizations that now control all of these “corporations.” They are NOT owned by plain old humans any more and we now function under Corporate law instead of Constitutional law! All of the financing now funnels thru a myriad of loan documents, guarantees, warranties, stock options, mortgages, ephemeral assets, etc., etc.

Statement from Donald Trump:
“My great sister, Maryanne, passed away yesterday at the age of 86. A truly beautiful woman, tall and elegant, with a presence like no other, she was also a tremendous student, intellect, and Judge, in charge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, just below the U.S. Supreme Court. Her life was largely problem free, PERFECT, until I made it difficult for her when I decided to run for President. The Fake News, and others, went after her mercilessly, and because of the fact that she felt it inappropriate, due to her position, to defend herself, it just never stopped! While tough and strong, she was made to suffer in those years from 2016 until her Retirement. I will never forget the many times people would come up to me and say,“Your sister was the smartest person on the Court.” I was always honored by that, but understood exactly what they meant—They were right! She was a great Judge, and a great sister. She will be truly missed!”

I just finished watching all the available footage from the J6 tapes and here are my thoughts and findings.
There are roughly 100 videos at about 8-10 minutes per video.
I used a Timelapse and visually looked for any anomalies or odd movements.
Per Mike Johnson, more videos will be released online over time, so not everything is released right now.
MY THOUGHTS:
It was a set up on the American people. There’s no other way to describe it.
There were definitely bad actors at J6 and they all fit the profiles or a Fed or Antifa.
The ones causing the chaos were well coordinated and had an objective as soon as they entered the building.
From what I could tell, their goal was to breach the building cause as many viral “insurrection” moments as possible while recording it, force people inside to be used on the Tell-A-Vision.
Nearly all the footage released were peaceful citizens walking the halls, taking pictures with their selfie sticks, while being escorted/directed by the Police.
MY FINDINGS:
Capitol Police Shoved a Man and He Hit his Head on a Column and left him there like a dog

QAnon Shaman entered into the building at the 57 sec mark…

Men at beginning of video fight back police. Moments later, same men who fought back police seemed to have a strong desire to break down the door to the left.
Man at bottom left acts as a lookout. Man in the center at 1:42 is directing, pulling, and pushing people inside.

It is not the fault of Russia that black kids in inner-city schools are “graduating” from high school without being able to read or do algebra. It is not Russia’s fault that America’s southern border is wide open and being swarmed by millions of illegal migrants. It is not Russia’s fault that many of America’s largest cities are ravaged with narcotics addiction, violence and criminal activity. Look in the mirror America. Clean up your act. Then, maybe, you will have the moral authority to lecture other nations on human rights and freedom. But America, as it stands now, is a fractured country and shows no sign of righting itself.
