Where Were you?

I will never forget where I was when I heard about the Twin Towers. My mother and I were in the local bank.  They had just installed 2 large televisions for those people waiting in lines.  Normally the news played in the background as we stood waiting for the next teller.  But that morning, we all stood in disbelief watching the horror unfold—tellers and customers alike.  Mom and I had planned to go grocery shopping after the bank, but we decided to go home and watch the tv for more information.

Where we you when you heard?  Do you remember? Will you ever forget?

(if I got the correct link, the second video is the updated version of the first one.)

    1. Morning, Pat! I knew you would be down for the count! All that traveling is wearing on a body! LOL – a nipply 58 here this morning and super foggy – it was rainy all day and into the evening. I propped open the patio door, turned the light on and put GT’s food dish out – a little closer to the interior door this time.

we never sleep well at Mom’s. the mattress is like a million years old and she offers to buy a new one, but i can’t see her spending money on that…so we suffer a couple of sleepless nights…we make up for it when we get home!
I did see that! Hopefully they get that escapee soon!

In a phony and probably rigged Wall Street Journal poll, coming out of nowhere to softened the mental incompetence blow that is so obvious with Crooked Joe Biden, they ask about my age and mentality. Where did that come from? A few years ago I was the only one to agree to a mental acuity test, & ACED IT. Now that the Globalists at Fox & the WSJ have failed to push their 3rd tier candidate to success, they do this.

Well, I hereby challenge Rupert Murdoch & Sons, Biden, WSJ heads, to acuity tests!

I will name the place and the test, and it will be a tough one. Nobody will come even close to me! We can also throw some physical activity into it. I just won the Senior Club Championship at a big golf club, with many very good players. To do so you need strength, accuracy, touch and, above all, mental toughness. Ask Bret Baier (Fox), a very good golfer. The Wall Street Journal & Fox are damaged goods after their failed DeSanctimonious push & stupid $780,000,000 “settlement.” MORONS!!!

The Wall Street Journal and FoxNews keep pushing the narrative, through Trey Gowdy and others, that “BOTH” Crooked Joe Biden and 45th President Donald J. Trump are unpopular within their own Party. This happens to be true for Crooked Joe, where they won’t even let RFK Jr. have his votes fairly counted (more RIGGING, and STEALING Elections!), but VERY untrue for “TRUMP,” where I have a 90% Approval Rating, and am crushing the “second tier” candidates by 50, 60, and even 70 Points. THAT’S POPULAR!

Figures. The Governor of New Mexico who just declared a Public Health Emergency to suspend the 2nd Amendment was installed by George Soros.

Soros-backed New Mexico governor riles conservatives with firearm suspension order

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, whose campaign was backed by left-wing billionaire George Soros, riled up conservatives and gun owners after she issued an emergency order suspending the right to carry firearms in public in Albuquerque and the surrounding county for at least 30 days.

The Democratic governor said she felt compelled to take action after a spate of recent shootings — including the death of an 11-year-old boy outside a minor league baseball stadium this week.

“Gun violence is killing between 2 and 3 children every month in NM – every single one of these deaths is unconscionable and they must stop,” Lujan Grisham wrote Friday on X, formerly known as Twitter.

  3. Good morning y’all! I was on vacation in Va. Beach on 9/11. My ex-gf and I were en route to Walmart to get beach towels when news of the first plane hit came on the radio. We purchased our towels and were on the way to the beach when the 2nd hit. We cut our vacation short and went back to Md. as all the locals in Va. Beach were saying that they may shut down all the area due to Norfolk and Hampton Rhodes bases. I had worked at the Pentagram as a contractor occasionally, but not after as some of the equipment we had under contract was hit. My father was actually working one of my contracts that day at the Heritage Foundation.

    FTA
Defending abortion up to the moment of a baby’s birth (and sometimes after) isn’t about women’s rights — it’s about reducing the number of babies. Rationing fuels necessary for heating homes and generating electricity isn’t about “saving the planet” — it’s about making it harder to survive on this planet. Forbidding the use of fertilizers that help farmers feed a hungry world isn’t about fighting “climate change” — it’s about inducing famine. Encouraging children to volunteer for castration isn’t about respecting their “authentic gender” — it’s about poisoning their family trees before those youngsters even reach puberty. Forcing people to take experimental “vaccines” with dangerous side effects isn’t about “saving lives” — it’s about reducing lifespans. These are the cold, hard facts. And once a person accepts them for what they are, a natural question arises: why should the people of planet Earth sit back and do nothing while their “leaders” quietly orchestrate their slaughter?

Our entire situation is so absurd. The feudal lords are running around killing babies, castrating children, starving serfs, and depriving the peasants of electricity. A more rational generation would take one look around at these grim conditions and rightly conclude that the world’s reigning nobility must be overthrown posthaste. Through the witchcraft of propaganda and indoctrination, however, our feudal lords have convinced a depressingly large number of “useful idiots” that their campaign of child mutilation, societal mayhem, and senseless murder is somehow “virtuous.” How do you commit genocide without anyone calling you a monster? You simply teach the victims that their murders are “politically correct,” and after a generation or two, the most malleable among us will be volunteering to help massacre themselves!

my mom got a postcard from the realtor who sold the neighbor’s house–saying he got the neighbor $390,000 for his home and he wanted mom to know she could get that for her house. we all laughed. she does have a big corner lot and maybe they could tear down her home and put a “double” home and rent out both sides…but her home is not in the same league as the neighbor’s. that house was recently built–mom’s been there most of my life and they didn’t buy it new. it needs a new roof, new electricity, and the basement leaks.

Mom might need a new roof soon and we were talking about it with our son who did roofing during the summers he went to college. he and my husband did the new roof on the home he and my DIL bought. But his roof is no way near as steep as Mom’s. he’d tackle anything but thinks that one may have to be a professional job. and it would cost her about $25K and she doesn’t have it. at 84 would she even be there long enough to get her money out of it? is it worth it? we don’t know…

            1. Presumably, she doesn’t have homeowner’s insurance that might cover it? One consideration might be to look into a reverse mortgage for her. I looked into it but the property has to be valued at $100K or more – sounds like her house would qualify. As long as there isn’t anyone in the family who actually wants the house when she passes….

              1. hubby and i discussed it and maybe we should sit down with my brother and his wife. it’s not really about the money–we could probably afford to do it for her–but is it worth it?
i honestly don’t think anyone would buy the house for the house–they’d be buying it for the property with the intent to either build a mcmansion or a duplex and rent it. how long mom continues to live there is the real question. any money she receives from the sale would hopefully fund a retirement place for her in a community but she is still reluctant to do so–especially with my brother living less than 5 minutes away. but they haven’t discussed her moving in there either.
she would never move up here because it’s so away from the rest of her family.

the problem is some roofer contacted mom–said he was in the area doing work and “noticed” her roof needs to be redone. (we couldn’t convince her it was a sales pitch). she told the guy she can’t afford to do it THIS YEAR so stop calling her.
we’re afraid she might consider it next year…sigh.
we talked my son into coming and looking at it next time we go down. he said he noticed a missing shingle the last time he was there but then forgot about it–so that’s not good. but that kind of repair, because it was low enough he thought he and hubby can do themselves.

  7. Here you go, Pat – from Saturday:

Milestone day, indeed! Once it got light enough to see, I went out on the patio to put GT’s food down and saw her waiting outside. I decided it would be a good time to make her come inside again so I propped open the door and set her dish down, further back this time, and went back inside, closing the door behind me. She came in almost immediately and ate, then went back outside around to the west patio, where she sat down for a grooming session.

Jake and I watched her from the BR window, him growling deep in his throat but trying to avoid eye contact with her – he is such a pansy!!! As she finished her grooming, I expected her to vamoose so I went out to close the door but saw that she was still hunkered down on the west patio. Since she came inside so easily, and has indicated a curiosity about the patio, I left the door propped open, put Jake in the bedroom, and left the interior door open, just in case she was curious enough to look inside.

I went about my business for a few minutes, then decided to look and see if she was on the patio – as I came out, she came from the far left corner of the patio, and scooted towards the door. I stepped back inside and waited and she actually came inside about 3 feet. As soon as I moved, tho, she turned around and went back out onto the patio and outside to disappear again. I’m thinking she is going to welcome the shelter this winter! But she’s still so skinny, I need to deworm her again.

      1. Sunday morning, I put her dish in front of my interior doors on the patio and turned on the light outside while turning off the inside overhead light. She came right up and commenced eating, glancing up at the doors now and then. Jake was laying right in front of the door and never even saw her! LOL – he is soooo oblivious most of the time! When she was thru eating, she wandered around the patio a bit before heading out.

Our Take: “All laws which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void. This is a fundamental principle of the United States Constitution, confirmed by the US Supreme Court in Marbury v. Madison (1803). The NM governor cannot suspend the second amendment as states do not have the right to separate you from your constitutional rights.

This is why we saw prominent leftists such as Ted Lieu and David Hogg affirming that states do not have the right to strike down the 2A — but it’s not because they love the constitution or want to protect state’s rights. These commies hate state’s rights. They want this change made at the federal level via a constitutional amendment. Consider the establishment’s response to Roe v. Wade being returned to the states. According to the regime’s puppets, the people do not have the right to decide and we need federal legislation for everything.

Despite their ulterior motives, the puppets are right. States don’t have the right to infringe upon the 2A. And neither do the Feds. Our rights are inalienable and the right to defend yourself against tyranny is a line that these commies better not cross. Shall not be infringed.” — Ashe in America

  9. “Monday Motivation–Fauja Singh. Winning at 104!”
    JIMYCHANGA
    SEP 11, 2023

“You haven’t missed the boat. You’re not even 100 yet! Whatever your goals are, this will inspire you to get cracking! Fauja Singh, a 104-year-old man, completed the Sri Chinmoy Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race, running 60 miles a day for 52 days, the only one out of 128 runners to finish. He proves that persistence and determination, not flash and speed, are what can accomplish miraculous feats.

Most Americans can’t imagine ever running a marathon, 26.2 miles. Less than 1% of Americans ever do. Now imagine running not 26 miles but 60 miles in a single day. Now imagine doing it every day for 52 days, 3,100 miles in total. That’s equivalent to running across the US in less than two months. Would such a feat be impossible? Even crazy? Then you’ve never heard of the Sri Chinmoy Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race. This is a grueling ultramarathon that spans 3,100 miles from the West to the East Coast of the United States.

It’s run over 52 days, each day consisting of a 60-mile run. In 2013, 128 runners attempted to run across the entire country. Just one succeeded. His name was Fauja Singh. Can you imagine the kind of Greek god super athlete it must take to accomplish such a superhuman feat? He must have Captain America’s stamina and Wolverine’s immune system. Perhaps, like the Khan Noonien Singh of Star Trek, he’s a genetically engineered Indian Superman bent on world domination?

The Only Person In 2013 Capable Of Running Across The United States Was 104 Years Old
Fauja Singh was 104 years old (103 and 259 days) when he completed something that no one else could. Was he fast? Nope. Was he impressive to look at before his superhuman feat? Nope, you’d never imagine he was even a runner. Yet, he was one of the greatest athletes in human history, and he started running at 89. Got that? He was almost 90 when he first laced up his running shoes! Go get ‘em!

Fauja Singh ran the 100m in 23.14, 200m in 52.23, 400m in 2:13.48, 800m in 5:32.18, 1500m in 11:27.81, one mile in 11:53.45, 3000m in 24:52.47 and 5000m in 49:57.39, resetting five world records for his age group in one day. Mar 31, 2023

  10. “The Dirty Secret About How Masks Really “Work”
BY Clayton J. Baker, MDCLAYTON J. BAKER, MD SEPTEMBER 10, 2023

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “It is difficult to believe that Public HealthTM is trying to force America to mask up again, but here we are. The question is, why? The dirty secret is this: Masks don’t work by controlling the virus. Masks work by controlling the people. If we’re talking about stopping the spread of the virus, masks simply don’t work.

But if we’re talking about stoking fear, instilling blind obedience to state authorities, sowing discord between citizens, and publicly “outing” skeptics and dissidents – in other words, creating an authoritarian, even totalitarian system of public health – then masks work very well indeed.

MASKS DON’T WORK AT CONTROLLING THE VIRUS — By this late date, it has been established beyond honest scientific doubt that masking is ineffective at stopping the contraction and spread of COVID-19. This is true both at the microscopic level and at the population level.

The early mask mandates regarding COVID-19 were largely “justified” on the assertion that the SARS-CoV-2 virus was not prone to airborne spread. However, the SARS-CoV-2 virus has since been proven to be an airborne virus (like influenza), meaning it can remain circulating in room air for extended periods of time, and spreads in this manner. SARS-CoV-2 viruses have also been proven to be much smaller in size than the holes in cloth and surgical masks.

Therefore, at a microscopic level, Harvey Risch is correct: trying to block the SARS-CoV-2 virus with a surgical mask is quite literally like trying to keep mosquitos out of your yard by erecting a chain-link fence. At a population level, the latest Cochrane meta-analysis of the available randomized, controlled trials surrounding masking and respiratory viruses concluded that “Wearing masks in the community probably makes little or no difference to the outcome of influenza‐like illness (ILI)/COVID‐19 like illness compared to not wearing masks. Wearing masks in the community probably makes little or no difference to the outcome of laboratory‐confirmed influenza/SARS‐CoV‐2 compared to not wearing masks.”

(It should be noted that as the mask debate has been resurrected, Cochrane has been under intense pressure by pro-mask entities to addend and modify their comments about this study, to which the organization has capitulated.) Furthermore, this study is only one in addition to the hundreds of other studies that clearly outline the epidemiologic ineffectiveness and real harms of masks, many of which have been known since at least 2021.

To summarize: at the microscopic level, masks do not stop the exit or entry of the virus into human bodies, and at the population level, mask use has not been shown to provide any benefit, and has been shown to have numerous harms.

MASKS DO WORK AT CONTROLLING PEOPLE — The entire Public HealthTM enterprise in the West has a strong political and authoritarian impulse built into it from its very conception. While a detailed review of this is beyond the scope of this article, it harkens back at least to the figure of Rudolf Virchow, the preeminent 19th century German physician, opponent of Semmelweis and Darwin, and founder of so-called “social medicine,” who famously wrote that “Medicine is a social science, and politics nothing but medicine at a larger scale.”

The attitude that Public HealthTM should possess the power to dictate national and local political policy for the “public good” (as they, the “experts,” unilaterally determine it to be) has increased over the past century, especially in the United States. Around it there have grown vast, lucrative industries, from which (since at least the Bayh-Dole Act), Public HealthTM officials often profit handsomely. The vaccine industry is only the most obvious of these.

During the COVID era, the authoritarianism of Public HealthTM morphed into totalitarian mode, with the unprecedented lockdowns, school closures, travel restrictions, vaccine mandates, etc. that we all endured. The most visible and most easily enforceable symbol of this power grab were masks.

Masks, even the comically useless ones made of old handkerchiefs, or the filthy, week-old paper surgical ones seen on countless chins, signaled compliance and submission. For the very real Public HealthTM purpose of unquestioning obedience, masks work very well indeed. Masks are effective at instilling fear in people. Fearful people more readily submit to authority, particularly when that authority promises a solution to the cause of their fear.

Masks are effective as virtue signals of compliance, bolstering the submissive person’s ego. Masks also impose a very strong peer-pressure effect, which pushes uncertain persons toward following the crowd. Masks are effective at humiliating people. They are uncomfortable, ugly, dirty, and unnatural. They truly are “face diapers.” In a word, masks are degrading. If the ways of the old Eastern bloc taught us anything, it is that the systematic degradation of individuals, especially for patently stupid reasons, is highly effective at promoting totalitarian ends.

Masks are also extremely effective in exposing dissidents. Who dares to stand up against the state? There’s one, right over there. Shame on them. Shun them. Arrest them. That’s how masks really “work”, and that’s why the Public HealthTM types love them. That’s why they’re trying to bring them back.”

The company is in bankruptcy just three years after getting a $700 million loan from taxpayers.

So that is going to create a massive supply chain issue of liquid natural gas which means your utility bills as well as the price of gas is going to skyrocket.

Biden used 300 million gallons of gas from our reserves to keep the gas prices artificially low. They can’t do that anymore. They have set us up in every way to purposely make gas prices and utility prices skyrocket so fill all of your gas cans, buy propane ect NOW while you can still afford it.”

Scott Smith was arrested for obstruction of justice and disorderly behavior in June 2021.
    ——————
On Sunday, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin granted an absolute pardon to Scott Smith. On his first day in office, Governor Youngkin issued an executive order to investigate sexual assaults within Loudoun County Public Schools. The Attorney General’s subsequent investigation uncovered a cover-up, leading to the termination of Superintendent Ziegler.

“Scott Smith is a dedicated parent who’s faced unwarranted charges in his pursuit to protect his daughter. Scott’s commitment to his child despite the immense obstacles is emblematic of the parental empowerment movement that started in Virginia,” said Governor Glenn Youngkin in a statement.

“In Virginia, parents matter and my resolve to empower parents in unwavering. A parent’s fundamental right to be involved in their child’s education, upbringing, and care should never be undermined by bureaucracy, school divisions or the state. I am pleased to grant Scott Smith this pardon and help him and his family put this injustice behind them once and for all,” he added.

James Woods think he might have been on a flight that was a dress rehearsal for 9/11
    FTA
James Woods — who’s best known for playing bad guys in films like Final Fantasy and Ghosts of Mississippi. As any other good citizen he tipped off the FBI about his encounter with four suspicious airline passengers a month before last Tuesday’s attacks on America, Reuters reports

On a flight from Boston to Los Angeles about one month before the 9/11 attacks, Woods observed four men of apparent Middle Eastern origin acting so oddly that he reported them to the flight attendants and authorities on the ground when he landed.

The Oscar-nominated actor told the FBI that he was alone in first class with the four men and noticed during the entire cross-country flight that none of them had anything to eat or drink, nor did they read, sleep, or appear to make themselves comfortable. They sat erect in their seats and stared straight ahead, saying nothing to flight attendants and speaking to each other only in inaudible tones.

Woods, who was flying back to Los Angeles after visiting his mother in Boston, said via his publicist that he was extremely unsettled by their behavior.

The flight now appears to have been a dry run for the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington, in which hijackers seized and crashed four commercial planes, including one flying the same Boston-to-Los Angeles route. The day after the terrorists crashed the planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a field in western Pennsylvania, Woods called the FBI to report his eerie experience. Federal agents visited him at his home the following day, to interview him in detail, according to Reuters.

Woods declined to publicly discuss his experience, first reported by New York Post columnist Cindy Adams and confirmed by his spokeswoman, Susan Madore. In a brief statement, the actor said, “I think it prudent not to comment on this and let the FBI continue do their job ….”

However now there’s a video where Woods made the statement on Fox News but the video was never aired on live TV!

  16. Well, Jerry finally called….he took the engine out and had another one he thought might work but it is smaller so all the connections don’t line up. He knows of a guy who works at the bank whose sons mow lawns sometimes, as well as an older guy that is part of the coffee klatch at SM who does some mowing. I think I know who he’s talking about and he does bush hogging and large scale mowing, I think. He will keep looking for an engine or a used mower and I’m going to give my neighbor a call. OK, I called – he doesn’t have any used ones but will call around to other stores, which is what he did last time. I told him no more than $400 w/o payments so we’ll see – this one was $600.

  17. “Ron DeSantis Harasses Melania Trump With ‘Missing Person’ Flyers At Iowa Football Game — The absentee Governor is so far behind in the polls, he has now resorted to attacking Florida resident, First Lady Melania Trump.”
    LAURA LOOMER
    SEP 11, 2023

ENTIRE ARTICLE: Fledgling Republican candidate for President Ron DeSantis conducted a shameless and classless political stunt on Saturday at the highly anticipated Iowa vs Iowa State college football game. Obviously angered by the fact that he garnered no attention from attendees, as Trump stole the spotlight from thousands of sports fans, DeSantis’s campaign staff passed out flyers attacking former First Lady Melania Trump.

The flyers showed a picture of Melania Trump with a large red heading that reads ‘MISSING.’ Underneath the photo of Melania Trump the flyer continues, “Have you seen this woman? Where is our First Lady? Why is Donald Trump hiding her? We miss her. Please call 561-832-2600 if found.” See that flyer below…

The number shown on the flyer is the phone number for Mar-a-Lago, which is the residence of First Lady Melania Trump and President Trump. Encouraging fair-goers to harass the former First Lady of the United States is classless and disgusting. Unfortunately for Ron DeSantis and his campaign staff, this classless move is par for the course.

DeSantis also harassed the former First Lady by flying a banner over the Iowa v Iowa State college football game which he and President Trump were both in attendance at that read “Where’s Melania?” See a clip of that banner being flown above the stadium below…
    (Video)

When President Trump arrived for the game, he was greeted by thousands of adoring fans and supporters who cheered as he walked through the stadium and greeted Iowans. See a clip of Trump being cheered at the Iowa vs Iowa State football game below…
    (Videos)
It’s important to remember that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis currently trails former President Donald Trump in Iowa Republican primary polls by a substantial 37 points. Additionally, 51% of voters said Donald Trump would be their first pick among candidates in the crowded 2024 GOP primary, according to a survey conducted by Iowa State University and polling firm Civiqs.

Though Ron DeSantis may have large corporate donors, his campaign continues to bleed cash, and support. His lackluster, gutless, and weak performance at the first Republican debate only cemented his status as the Jeb Bush of 2024. His latest attempt to harass and intimidate the former First Lady only shows how desperate Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has become in his quest to undermine the MAGA, America First movement. DeSantis has he abandoned the State of Florida, a state which is currently one massive hurricane away from a complete insurance market and housing collapse.

From the safety of the people of Florida, to the safety and privacy of former First Lady Melania Trump, Ron DeSantis has shown that he will do quite literally anything to become President. Unfortunately, for DeSanctimonious, all of the money in the world and all of Rupert Murdoch’s men couldn’t make Ron DeSantis likable again. He will never be able to afford the personality transplant he desperately needs, and he will never be able to regain the trust of the MAGA, pro-Trump base.

DeSantis destroyed his political career when he betrayed President Donald Trump, the man who is most responsible for DeSantis’s nail biter 2018 Gubernatorial victory in Florida. As DeSantis continues to spiral downward, we can only expect more of the classlessness of DeSantis and his wife to be amplified through vicious and pointless attacks against those who DeSantis perceives to be ‘in his way.’

In reality, DeSantis is standing in his own way. His unlikable character, coupled with his odd and awkward behavior and lack of social skills, and his willingness to compromise and flip flop on key policy issues for political power have created an incredibly unpopular Presidential candidate and a Governor worthy of national contempt and disdain.

While President Trump will continue to soar in national polls as our country succumbs to the chaos of the illegitimate Biden regime, DeSantis will be forced to learn the hard way…”

  18. “Parenthood: 13 Expectations Vs. Reality”
    FAMILY · Sep 9, 2023 · BabylonBee.com

“Becoming a parent obviously changes your life drastically — but not always quite like people expect! Allow the moms and dads of the Babylon Bee to peel back the curtain on the expectations versus reality of what it’s actually like to be a parent:

Expectation: You’ll have someone to laugh at all your great jokes.
Reality: Your kids will make fun of you until you cry in the shower.

Expectation: You’ll never have time for your hobbies again.
Reality: You’ll get to do all your hobbies, but now with little clones of yourself experiencing them for the first time.

Expectation: Parenthood won’t change your marriage.
    Reality: Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Expectation: Your child will only eat organic, non-GMO food.
Reality: Your child will eat whatever they find on the floor of the grocery store. Mmm, gum!

Expectation: You will never buy a minivan.
Reality: You will ask to be buried in your minivan when you die.

Expectation: Sometimes kids will have the sniffles.
Reality: Kids’ noses will be snotty from August 1 until May 31, during which time you will buy new yachts for the CEOs of Kleenex, Children’s Tylenol, Zarbee’s, and Vick’s.

Expectation: Can’t go to Beyonce concert and wake up hungover anymore.
Reality: Yeah, but that’s a good thing.

Expectation: Snuggling the day away with a precious little infant.
Reality: That, but you haven’t showered in a week and there’s puke in your hair.

Expectation: Kids may go through a phase called the “Terrible Two’s”.
Reality: Actually, this just means you’re a crappy parent. Juuuuust kidding!

Expectation: You’ll still carve out time to “take care of you”.
    Reality: Nah.

Expectation: You won’t make any of the same mistakes your parents made.
Reality: You will make all of the mistakes your parents made.

Expectation: You will never listen to that garbage kid’s music.
Reality: BABY SHARK DOO-DOO-DOO-DOO-DOO, MOMMY SHARK DOO-DOO-DOO-DOO-DOO!

Expectation: Parenthood will be challenging, but worth it.
Reality: Parenthood will be the most difficult and most beautiful thing you will ever do this side of Heaven. You will have to die to yourself. You will find depths of your own selfishness and self-involvement that you did not know existed, and you will have to put those to death as you lay down your life for another person. God will sanctify you through parenthood in ways you cannot imagine. You will experience heights of joy beyond the capacity you thought possible as you see the world anew through the eyes of your children. Your heart will forever live outside your chest, rejoicing and breaking, as you give it over to this new person, this new creation.”

Hear, Hear. McCarthy lacks the votes for an impeachment inquiry. 20 RINO holdouts Bacon of NE and Ken Buck CO they talk MAGA but hide in the closet. Gaetz is moving for McCarthy to vacate the chair if he doesn’t bring a vote to the floor.

      1. Oh, Bacon has never, ever been MAGA – not even close!!!! Adrian Smith isn’t much better – again, he does what his superiors tell him to do.

    2. What really would be the point of doing it now besides the publicity factor? It would fail – but they NEED to do an Inquiry at minimum, to at least get some info out there before the election; MSM can’t hide everything if they do that – yes, they will spin it but they will still have to report on it.
