Princess Diana

Today is the anniversary of the death of Princess Diana.  I could relate the official tale of her tragic death, but that isn’t my style.  I searched for an article relating the strange, conspiracy types of “facts” that, of course, have been “explained away” in the official accounts.

6 Truly Strange Facts Surrounding Princess Diana’s Death

20 years later, these facts still can’t be dismissed.

By Lesli White

It’s hard to believe it’s been 20 years since the death of Diana, Princes of Wales. While much time has passed since Princess Diana’s death in 1997, the fascination with her life and tragic death have never waned. Over the years, there have been many conspiracy theories surrounding Princess Diana’s death, many of which have been quite intriguing. In addition, persistent plots and incessant rumors, books, tapes, letters, diaries, unpublished videos continue to pop up, particularly when another anniversary approaches. While it hasn’t been proven that her death was anything other than a tragic accident, there are certain aspects of the incident that can’t be ignored. Many of these aspects will leave you with more questions than answers. Here are six truly strange facts surrounding Princess Diana’s death.

The Letters That Predicted Her Own Death

A few months prior to her death, Princess Diana sent out letters to two close friends, her butler Paul Burrell and her solicitor, Lord Mitchum. In them, she stated quite clearly that the royal family and her husband were “planning her death” and that it would be “a car accident.” Burrell went public with his letter, making it known to the press. Lord Mitchum on the other hand passed the letter over to the serving police chief at the time, Lord Condon. Condon withheld this letter from public knowledge as did his successor, Lord Stevens, for several years, even though it is illegal to withhold evidence in investigations. Despite this, no action was taken against either former police chief. Many people found this suspicious and for good reason.

Car Swap at the Last Moment

When Princess Diana and her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed left the Ritz Hotel shortly after midnight on the morning of August 31, 1997, a different Mercedes was sent to pick them up than the one they had used throughout the day. Not only was the car changed at the very last minute, there was also no backup car present as was customary.

In addition, there was much controversy regarding the seat belts and who was and wasn’t wearing them on that last journey. Princess Diana was always known to wear her seat belt so it’s hard for many to believe that she was found to have not been wearing one the day of the crash. During that time, the security officer in the vehicle, Trevor Rees-Jones was found with his seat belt on, which is unusual for a security officer on such a high profile job, given the standard practice was for them to not wear seat belts so their movements aren’t restricted.

No Footage Captured of Their Fateful Journey

Henri Paul opted to take a different route the day that the crash occurred. The longer route took them along the River Seine and through the Pont d’ Alma tunnel where the tragic crash occurred. The reason they were said to take this route as opposed to the quickest one was to avoid paparazzi, who had followed the pair all day long. While this might sound rational, given the route was selected on the spur of the moment, many people found it suspicious that all 17 CCTV cameras along the route were either turned off or not working at all. Consequently, no footage was captured of their fatal journey – footage that would have been invaluable in determining what happened that evening.

Henri Paul’s Alcohol Level

Henri Paul was said to have been drunk behind the wheel and lost control of the car the day of the crash. However, there are a number of interesting points about this account. While Paul probably did drink that night and was on antidepressents, he is on camera acting coherent and not visibly intoxicated shortly before the accident. There are some disagreements among experts over exactly how much he had to drink that night.

There are some theories about Paul being an employee of French and/or British security services, as he had over $1000 on him at the time of death, though as a high ranking employee at an upscale hotel in Paris who occasionally needed to buy things for wealthy clients, having over a grand in his pockets is not the oddest thing.

She Remained in the Tunnel for 81 Minutes

Princess Diana wasn’t removed from the crashed vehicle for almost 37 minutes – despite there being little to no damage to her side of the car. It was a total of 81 minutes before the ambulance she had been placed into made its way out of the tunnel and to the hospital. Medical experts who testified in court stated that had Princess Diana been removed from the scene quicker, she very well may have survived. While serious questions were made about his conduct at the accident scene, Dr. Jean-Marc Martino was not made to appear at the official inquiry into Princess Diana and Dodi’s death. Dr. Martino also didn’t address any of the accusations of gross negligence from those who felt his actions that night were far from adequate, which was met with much suspicion.

Speed of the Ambulance Questioned

When the ambulance finally arrived at the scene, it was traveling at a pedestrian pace of 19 kilometers per hour (12 mph). This was questioned by investigators, researchers, medical and emergency service experts alike. The excuse was made that they were traveling with high-tech medical equipment. Given it was essentially a mobile theater room, it allowed the emergency team to begin treatment as soon as a person is inside the ambulance. They said that traveling at that speed would have put their work in danger.

We can only speculate how different our world would be if Princess Diana had not died in a car accident that tragic day. She taught us that there is more out in the world besides ourselves. Princess Diana tried to help as many people as she could in the time she was with us and she will always be remembered as a beacon of light and hope. The late Princess of Wales will be forever missed.

    1. Morning, Pat! Hope you don’t have any difficulties getting there. I remember that night clearly but back then I was taking things at face-value, for the most part, altho even I knew something was hinky about that crash. I was out partying at one of my regular hang-out spots and everyone gathered around the bar to watch the news. My roomie at the time, Janice, and I watched the funeral; I also recorded it and still have it on VHS. You cannot simply go by appearances with someone like Henri Paul, a normally hard-drinker. It is often impossible to tell if they are drunk or not. The one glaring question this article doesn’t address: was she preggers with Dodi’s child or not? And yes, I believe it was planned! From the very beginning, with their initial engagement, I felt soooo sorry for her – it was clear she was a true babe-in-the-woods being fed into a wood-chipper!

Huge moon when I got up earlier but it’s clouded up some now. Chilly at 64, with a stiff breeze. I put GT’s food dish down but he still remained sitting in front of the door, mewing at me, so I held the door open and pulled back. He once again craned his neck to see onto the patio but still won’t come closer.

    Trump Can Prove It

Establishment politicians and mainstream media have fought harder than on any other issue to convince the public that voter fraud is a conspiracy theory. But unconstitutional changes to state election laws, unsupervised ballot drop boxes, voting machine errors, mathematically improbable voter turnout, and other examples of outright voter fraud that were denied a chance to be presented in court between the 2020 election and Biden’s inauguration can’t simply be chalked up as coincidental. All those things occurring simultaneously make the fraud seem coordinated.

It is not a “March 4” trial — this schedule has the defense attorneys filing motions in December. They have 4 months to review millions of pages of discovery, do their own investigation of matters contained in that discovery — including interviewing witnesses (both Govt witnesses and others who were not part of Govt investigation) — and formulating their own defense plan. This is at the same time there are pretrial proceedings already scheduled in the Florida case involving the documents. What she has done indirectly is derail the FL case — a tactical move to reduce the influence of decisions by the judge in that case that might cause problems for SCO Smith.

I heard a lawyer say the Judge in FL could file something (forgot the term) to prevent the DC case on J6 from moving forward because it interfers with her case, which was filed before the DC case. And the DC court would have to wait until FL was finished.

She could issue an OSC to the Government asking for them to explain why they sought a schedule in that case that interfered with the schedule she already issued in her case. When the Gov’t doesn’t have a good answer, she could cite DOJ for contempt. What might happen after that would be anyone’s guess.

There are pretrial filing deadlines in the FL case that fall during the trial dates set in the DC case. Same defense attorneys. Impairs effective representation in the FL case. Almost certainly will require her to move back the FL trial date which was set first. Trial attorneys regularly get slapped around for creating scheduling conflicts when they don’t do enough to avoid them.

  4. “NO TRIAL IS REQUIRED”???????????
james wants a judge to resolve one of the “charges” without giving President Trump a chance to produce evidence or his side…WHAT A FARCE! she should be disbarred
    FTA
While running his father’s family real estate empire, former President Donald Trump bloated his net worth by a staggering $2 billion, New York Attorney General Letitia James charged in asking a Manhattan judge to rule against the Trumps before their upcoming $250 million civil fraud trial, according to court filings unsealed Wednesday.

James asked State Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron to resolve one of the fraud claims facing the Trumps encompassing a chunk of the case slated for trial Oct. 2 by recognizing a “mountain of undisputed evidence” of rampant fraud.

“No trial is required for the Court to determine that (Trump) presented grossly and materially inflated asset values in (financial filings) and then used those (filings) repeatedly in business transactions to defraud banks and insurers,” the filing said.

The Chinese parent company of Gotion Inc., which intends to build two electric battery plants in Michigan, employs 923 Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members, including its CEO, according to its 2022 ESG report.

The Fremont, California-based Gotion Inc. — which is “wholly owned and controlled” by Gotion High-Tech Power Energy Co., according to a Foreign Agents Registration Act filing — seeks to “invest $2.4 billion to construct two 550,000-square-foot production plants” for electric vehicle (EV) batteries in Big Rapids, Michigan, Fox News reported. Who knew that ISIS would try to take advantage of an open border?

Border Patrol arrested a whopping 12,028 criminal illegals in Fiscal Year (FY) 2022, and the criminals keep coming. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) statistics on criminal illegals apprehended FY2023 to date (last updated Aug. 16) is 10,810 criminal illegals. There was also a 600% spike in potential “national security risk” migrants (i.e. potential terrorists) apprehended in FY2022, a total of 25,627 individuals — hence the Border Patrol Union is warning that thousands of terrorists could be entering the U.S. illegally.

More than 100 suspected terrorists have been arrested at the U.S. southern border since President Joe Biden took office. It is estimated two million “gotaways” have crossed into the U.S. undetected. In May, an Afghan national on the terror watch list was arrested in San Diego.

  7. EXPOSED: Meet The South Florida Democrat Political Operative & Game Show Chaser Who Is Using Litigation To Remove Donald Trump From Florida’s Ballot In 2024
Lawrence Caplan has a history of attempted election interference and using failed, dirty political tricks against Republican Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates.

    LAURA LOOMER
    AUG 30, 2023

EXCERPT: “Democrat Political operative and South Florida Tax Attorney Lawrence Caplan has filed a lawsuit challenging President Trump’s ability to run for President in 2024, citing the 14th Amendment. Caplan cites Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, and is alleging that Trump’s “involvement” in January 6th, 2021 as his logic. It is worth noting that the 14th Amendment’s “disqualification clause” was created in response to the Civil War, and it was only established as a means to bar individuals who joined the Confederacy from ever serving in state or federal office. Caplan’s suit was filed on August 24th, 2023, just one day before President Trump’s arrest in Fulton County, Georgia, and contains a lot of misinformation and several spelling and grammatical errors, including the misspelling of his own address. According to the 14th Amendment, those who “have engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the government cannot hold office.
    ————–
Caplan’s current suit is viewed as a long shot by legal analysts, as no precedent has been set for a case of this type. None of the January 6th defendants have been charged with participating in an insurrection, and President Trump has not been convicted of inciting or participating in an insurrection. Caplan’s suit appears to be more of a political stunt and an attempt to get media attention, as opposed to a valid legal challenge…..”

  8. Transcript of video from Trump on TS: “The left-wing lunatics are trying very hard to bring back COVID lockdowns and mandates with all of their sudden fear-mongering about the new variants that are coming. Gee whiz. You know what else is coming? An election.

“They want to restart the COVID hysteria so they can justify more lockdowns, more censorship, more illegal dropboxes, more mail-in ballots, and trillions of dollars in payoffs to their political allies heading into the 2024 election. Does that sound familiar? These are bad people. These are sick people we’re dealing with.

“But to every COVID tyrant who wants to take away our Freedom, hear these words—WE WILL NOT COMPLY! So don’t even think about it. We will not shut down our schools. We will not accept your lockdowns. We will not abide by your mask mandates, and we will not tolerate your vaccine mandates.

“They rigged the 2020 election, and now they’re trying to do the same thing all over again by rigging the most important election in the history of our country, the 2024 election, even if it means trying to bring back COVID.

But they will fail because we will not let it happen. When I’m back in the White House, I will use every available authority to cut federal funding to any school, college, airline, or public transportation system that imposes a mask mandate or a vaccine mandate. Thank you very much.”

  9. ENTIRE ARTICLE @ ESPN: LINCOLN, Neb. — The largest crowd to witness a women’s sports event filled Memorial Stadium on Wednesday, as 92,003 fans watched the five-time NCAA champion Nebraska volleyball team beat Omaha 3-0. After the Huskers won the first two sets, the attendance record was announced to the red-clad Nebraska faithful, who cheered wildly.

On what was dubbed “Volleyball Day in Nebraska,” the match was the culmination of months of planning for a program and state that have long led the way in enthusiasm for the sport. The crowd, at what is usually the home of Nebraska football, broke the previous world record for women’s sports attendance — 91,648 — set on April 22, 2022, in Barcelona, Spain, for a Champions League match between FC Barcelona and Wolfsburg.

This was paid attendance too. Tickets for the doubleheader — Wayne State beat Nebraska-Kearney in a Division II exhibition before the Huskers and Mavericks played — were originally priced at $25 for adults and $5 for high school students and younger. But ticket prices reached as much as $400 on the secondary market.

“It’s incredible. I don’t have enough words to describe it,” Nebraska middle blocker Andi Jackson said. “We were walking out of the tunnel after the second set, and we heard on the speaker we had just broken the world record. Everyone was trying to stay locked in, but we were also so excited. I can’t describe how grateful I am to be a part of it.”

The previous record for a women’s sports event in the United States was the 90,185 who attended the Women’s World Cup soccer final between Team USA and China at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, on July 10, 1999. That was a landmark event for women’s athletics in general and women’s soccer in particular, won by the Americans on penalty kicks with the winning kick coming from Brandi Chastain.

“I remember that like it was yesterday,” Nebraska coach John Cook said of that World Cup match. “It was so impactful seeing those women compete and their celebration afterward. It made a mark on women’s sports in this country. They showed what could be done.”

The competition stakes Wednesday weren’t comparable to a World Cup final, as the 2023 college volleyball season is just getting underway and No. 5-ranked Nebraska is 4-0. But the Nebraska program, the university and the state took the attendance competition seriously. Nebraska is known for its sellout streaks in football (389) and volleyball (306).

Nebraska was also involved in the previous biggest crowd to see an NCAA women’s volleyball match: 18,755 for the national championship match between the Huskers and winner Wisconsin on Dec. 18, 2021, at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The Badgers also had set the NCAA attendance record for a regular-season women’s volleyball match in September: 16,833 in Madison, Wisconsin. The Huskers wanted to go bigger than that, and they did.

“There’s a great business case and strategy around women’s athletics long term that maybe college athletics hasn’t embraced,” Nebraska athletic director and former Huskers football star Trev Alberts said. “And we think here in Nebraska, long before I became the athletic director, we’ve significantly invested in women’s athletics, and you’re seeing the result of that by seeing the success of the volleyball program and the fan base surrounding it.”

The NCAA does not track attendance across all sports, but associate director of media coordination and statistics Jeff Williams told The Associated Press a crowd of 90,000-plus was easily among the largest for a non-football game. A 2010 outdoor hockey game between Michigan and Michigan State at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor drew more than 113,000 fans.

Thousands of fans were already milling around outside the stadium Wednesday afternoon, and many streamed in for the opening match, which started at 4:30 p.m. local time and initially had the sun directly on the court and the temperature in the mid-80s. By the time the Huskers were ready to make their entrance for a 7 p.m. start, the court was shaded, the temps had cooled, the stadium was packed, jets flew in formation overhead, and the fans went high-decibel.

Then the Nebraska volleyball squad ran out onto the field and the court that had been built on the northern side of the legendary stadium, which opened in 1923. Cook laughed and said going through the tunnel and into the sea of red made him feel like a football coach. Cook, who has been the Huskers’ volleyball coach since 2000 and led them to four of their NCAA titles, said he shed tears at least five times Wednesday, overcome with the emotion of such a monumental event and seeing so many of Nebraska’s former players.

Nebraska junior Lexi Rodriguez said that the wind at times played tricks on the ball, which of course doesn’t happen indoors, and that the depth perception was different playing in the stadium. But none of that bothered her or any of the other players. She was asked about the effect the nationally televised match could have. “I’ve been saying it’s so huge for little girls to get to see a women’s sport and volleyball being played on this big of a stage and having so many people invest in it,” Rodriguez said. “When you’re little, you have big dreams and big goals. Having this to look up to is something that a lot of little girls will keep in the back of their mind when they’re pursuing the sport of volleyball.”

Nebraska football is celebrating a century of memories at Memorial Stadium this fall, and Wednesday’s match added another unforgettable event here. It also gave Nebraska football something to aim for, because 92,003 fans is a stadium record. The biggest previous crowd was 91,585 for Nebraska’s football victory over Miami in September 2014.

Cook thanked the university administration, state government and fans after the match, while a drone presentation lit up “92,003” next to the stadium’s giant video screen in the north end zone. University of Nebraska students had gotten the day off from classes for the event, and Cook said there were only three things that ever shut down school here. “One, snowstorms. Two, COVID,” Cook said. “Three, Nebraska volleyball in the stadium.”

  13. dem AG in Az says he can’t bar President Trump from the ballot in AZ
    entire article
Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes (D) said he does not have the ability to bar former President Donald Trump from running for president in his state Wednesday.

There have been calls to bar the former president from being able to run in 2024 related to language in the 14th amendment where it states those who “have engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the government cannot hold office. Fontes said despite those claims, he cannot do so by way of a previous Arizona Supreme Court case.

“Now, the Arizona Supreme Court said that because there’s no statutory process in federal law to enforce Section 3 of the 14th amendment, you can’t enforce it,” Fontes said on “The Gaggle” podcast by The Arizona Republic and azcentral.com.

“That’s what the Arizona Supreme Court said, so that’s the state of the law in Arizona. Now, do I agree with that? No, that’s stupid,” Fontes continued.

Fontes said despite his dislike of what the Arizona Supreme Court has decided, he will still follow it because it is Arizona law.

“What I’m saying is I’m going to follow the law,” Fontes said. “And the law in Arizona is what the law in Arizona is. Whether I like it or not, is irrelevant.”

  14. “Game of Drones: The dangerous rise of military and surveillance warcraft”
BY PATRICK DRENNAN, OPINION CONTRIBUTOR – 08/31/23 8:30 AM ET

EXCERPT: “From drones that can soar through the stratosphere, to rotor drones that hover a few feet above the ground, and underwater drones that glide 50 feet underwater, drones have transformed our lives and modern warfare. Will they eventually destroy us? There are basically two main types of military drones: those used to destroy and kill by firing munitions, and those used for surveillance. In the Ukraine war, they are often used together.

Russia utilizes Iranian HESA Shahed 136 drones that are relatively cheap and explode on GSP-set targets. On the battlefield, they use more precise Zala Lancet drones. Both sides use cheap hand-held drones with bombs attached. The Ukrainians have been ingeniously making thousands of inexpensive suicide or Kamikaze drones. Comprised of cheap electronic parts, some made on 3D printers, they only have to last long enough to deliver their deadly cargo.

It has changed the military forever. Every British and American army platoon will now have a drone operator. The 75th Ranger Regiment at Fort Benning is being trained in using the RQ-28A short-range reconnaissance (SRR) quadcopter drone. “The SRR RQ-28A capability will provide game-changing technology to Army platoons, enhancing both soldier lethality and survivability,” said Carson L. Wakefield of Soldier UAS.

However, the most effective and powerful killer drones are the American MQ-9 Reaper and the Russian Kronshtadt (Sea Eagle) Orion’s. Thousands of lives have been lost to both, in Ukraine and in other wars. The Russian drones are generally not as accurate as their American counterparts, and they have clearly been aimed at civilian infrastructure. The International Criminal Court opened an investigation into possible crimes against humanity, war crimes and genocide, issuing an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin in March 2023…..”
