Today is National (yup, another one) Gorgeous Grandma Day.  I could post pictures of gorgeous older women, who most likely had botox or plastic surgery in search of being glamorous at whatever age they are.  But that’s not my style…LOL.  I would rather present pictures and memes of Grandmas being Grandmas and not wannabe sex objects.  So let’s celebrate Grandmas and LAUGH today, because I think laughter IS sexy!

    1. they’ve changed crap at wp. i open 2 windows for this–one for the actual post/thread and the other one has notifications and replies. that second window has been redone by wp and it stinks. it was just yesterday it appeared the new way. all the options are shrunk on the far left under their “buy this domain stuff” and maybe that’s the problem (although Bill hasn’t said so). I haven’t purchased anything from them so my site constantly changes…?? I wonder if we made you an author it would change?
      yesterday I had no email…i use yahoo…wouldn’t connect at all, but hubby could view yahoo news…

      1. Jumping into the middle of the convo, as usual – good morning, btw! Having a free site opens you up to all the ads – I guess they figure it is their “right” since they’re “letting you use their site.” Typical these days, I expect. Kind of like Twitter is doing to people who don’t have accounts – you can’t read beyond the basic Tweet. Everything is $$$-driven now.

          2. I think he is using incorrect terminology when he talks about the “patriarchy.” Perhaps what he is really talking about is the “oligarchy” or “corporatocracy,” which would be more accurate. He is “BustaTroll” on Twitter and a number of people have posted his Tweets in the past.

    Biden admin cracks down on another popular home appliance

    The Biden administration unveiled a regulatory proposal late Friday targeting water heaters, the latest in a string of energy efficiency actions cracking down on home appliances.

    The Department of Energy (DOE) said its proposal would ultimately “accelerate deployment” of electric heat pump water heaters, save Americans billions of dollars and vastly reduce carbon emissions. If finalized, the proposed standards would force less energy efficient, but cheaper, water heaters off the market.

    However, consumer groups and experts have criticized the administration over its aggressive energy efficiency campaign. They have argued the new regulations will reduce consumer choice and increase costs for Americans.

    “It’s just spreading to more and more appliances. It seems that almost everything that plugs in or fires up around the house is either subject to a pending regulation or soon will be,” Ben Lieberman, a senior fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute, previously told Fox News Digital.

    “Consumers aren’t going to like any of it,” he added. “These rules are almost always bad for consumers for the simple reason that they restrict consumer choice.”

        1. That’s one thing not having teeth keeps me from eating now. I have to way over-cook it so it will crumble and then it doesn’t taste right. So I’ll stick with ham and ground sausage for now in my omelets. I snipped some Cilantro yesterday and will use it in my omelet today. It still smells good so I should be able to eat it.

The information sheds light on a different story to what we have been led to believe about medical history.

    Who writes our medical history? This quote will leave a clue as to who writes the history.

    Medical history, as I read, has been written by the financiers of the Old School practitioners, referred to in the text as “the regulars”, because they had “skin in the game”.     I will share excerpts from archived documents or articles in their entirety, documents that resonate with me and help flesh out the picture of what was going on at the time. I think it will be a good way to build the picture for my readers who are time-poor. There are books already written that covers this topic, I’ve not read them as yet. I wish to discover these things for myself first, from the source material, and then I will read their books to fill in the gaps. Doing it this way I get to capture my own journey, and I invite you to come along with me.

    Be warned, “trigger word” ahead! This topic I’m about to introduce to you has been ridiculed, censored and dismissed by much of the world right up to today. But I feel right now this topic is ripe for a re-awakening. People are suffering and it maybe just what they have been asking for! So keep an open mind.

    If the last 3 1/2 years have taught us anything, it is the things we are told to dismiss or told to call “misinformation” are the very things we need to pay closer attention to.         1. Me either! I had my sexy stuff for certain times but I always wore hip-hugger undies. Now I wear the high-leg cut and it has to be all cotton – I am apparently allergic to nylon and get boils. I figured that out back in 1976 before I even went into the Army. I discovered if you put a hot wet washcloth on them for a few minutes, they are easy to pop w/o too much pain but I can do without, thank you! Same basic principle as with zits.

    Rep. James Comer (R-KY), chairman of the Oversight Committee, said he doesn’t want to see a special counsel appointed by the Department of Justice to investigate Hunter Biden because his committee, along with House Ways and Means and Judiciary Committees, are already doing the work.

    “I have no confidence in special counsels,” Comer said this week. “I have no confidence in Merrick Garland to appoint an independent, credible, unbiased special counsel. I think we’re making a lot of progress in our investigation. So, we’re gonna continue to plow forward.”

    This follows the trend of Republicans in the House believing the DOJ is corrupted by politics and worked to protect Hunter Biden during their investigation into him, leaving the trust they have in the agency very slim.

RFK Jr. tried to dodge on the whole FJB bribery issue re: Burisma. “We’ve got these new bank records from the Oversight Company that shows that Joe Biden took in millions of dollars, and his family, and we don’t know what specific policy decisions he changed as a result of…wha…why did he get paid? What do you think about that? I mean, there is an actual conversation underway about impeaching Joe Biden because of this…you know that.”

    “Yeah, I’ve…ya know..wah, uh-uh…I have avoided criticizing the President ’cause I…ya’ know, I’m trying to bring people together and some of the, um, a vitriol, a poison that’s made politics so poisonous.”

    “Well, corruption is corruption – we don’t want corruption in government.”

    “You’re right and I think, tho, the issues that are now coming up are worrying enough that we really need a real investigation of what happened. I mean, these were revelations about the…you know, the…where you have Burisma, which is a notoriously corrupt company that paid out, apparently $10M, to the B….uh, to Hunter and his Dad. If that’s true then it is really troubling. Um, so, I think that needs to be investigated.”

  43. just had my second frustrating phone call with mom…LOL.
    i call her twice a week…whenever we go out because the reception at the house sucks!
    and i tell her this often, but still she tries to call.
    it’s a comedy.
    i tried for no less than 15 times to tell her we will call her later–we’re going out for ice cream for supper…LOL…don’t laugh…we like it every once in a while.
    but getting her to understand that was frustrating.

    1. unless people wear their stupid pronouns on their foreheads, how would anyone know?
      I’m telling you everyone should adopt MY pronouns. when asked by my “medical team” on a form, I replied: YOUR HIGHNESS. therefore anyone not referring to me by those pronouns SHOULD BE ARRESTED
