Morning All!

Hubby built a wooden tray to hold 2 apple blocks in the winter and it was still out there. this porky got it off the stump and was standing on it to shred the remaining bark off the stump so he could ? eat it? anyway, i heard the tray knocking against the stump.
Morning, Pat! Truly sad to say that every one of those memes is truth! Don’t they strip the bark to get to the wood underneath? France LIVE: Chaos across entire nation with police ‘at war with savage hordes of vermin’
French police have said they are “at war” with “savage hordes of vermin” after violent waves of riots and looting erupted across France for the third successive night.
French President Emmanuel Macron urged parents to keep teenagers at home and proposed restrictions on social media to quell the rioting. The nation has deployed 45,000 police as rioting continues after the shooting of a 17-year-old driver. So far, 875 people have been arrested.
Good Morning ☀️
This is government policy at work…just like our southern border. Macron got precisely what he wanted…a crisis that will facilitate further interventionist policy.
Sources close to former President Trump say he has a plan for keeping Congress from ever again forcing him into “disgraceful” and “ridiculous” spending situations. If he returns to the White House, Trump will seek to resurrect authority that Congress stripped from the presidency almost a half century ago.
What President Nixon squandered, his campaign promises, Trump will restore, namely the impoundment power. “A lot of you,” the former president told a New Hampshire crowd Thursday, “don’t know what that is.” Indeed, few now remember it.
Impoundment, if restored, would allow a president, in theory, to simply refuse to spend appropriations by Congress. More than just an avenue to cut spending, Trump sees that kind of authority as key to starving, and thus crushing, the so-called “deep state.”
But such a move would fundamentally alter the balance of power, and any effort to restore the long-forgotten authority virtually guarantees a protracted legal battle over who exactly controls the power of the purse. Trump welcomes that fight. Some budget experts believe he won’t get anywhere.
In a statement to RealClearPolitics, Trump described the impoundment power as “the secret weapon” to squeezing out “the bloated federal bureaucracy while still doing everything America needs and more.”
“This constitutional power of the President should never have been curtailed,” the former president added, “but I will get it back and will use it to stop inflation and bring federal spending under control.”
Regardless, advisors close to the former president tell RealClearPolitics they are drawing up plans to challenge the 1974 Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act in court, and if that fails, to lean on the legislature to repeal it. The latter would require passing a law to surrender power, something lawmakers are loath to do.
Congress already went to war with another president who had expansive views of his own authority. And Congress won.
Inflation in the 1970s, the Nixon White House complained, was the result of a profligate “Credit Card Congress.” The California Republican warned Capitol Hill not to spend in excess of $250 billion. When his warning was ignored, Nixon simply refused to spend the appropriated money. A rebuke from the Supreme Court followed when the president impounded funding for environmental projects. But weakened by Watergate, Nixon eventually signed legislation effectively surrendering a power that had been exercised from the presidencies of Thomas Jefferson to Lyndon B. Johnson.
Russ Vought, Trump’s last director of the Office of Management and Budget, calls the concession of impoundment power “the original sin” that ensured “the executive branch no longer plays a meaningful role” in the appropriations process. Vought told RCP in an interview that the power of the purse has become “caricature,” where rather than “setting ceilings,” Congress now sets “spending floors.”
Hence, Trump’s “unhappy” signature on multiple multi trillion-dollar spending bills.
Trump promised he would “never sign another bill like this again” before putting his signature on a “crazy” $1.3 trillion spending bill in 2018. Two years later, he signed another omnibus bill, this one worth $1.4 trillion, that he called “disgraceful.” Both times, Trump justified voting for the bloated bills conservatives loathed by pointing to increased military spending.
Restoring impoundment authority, thus giving presidents an option to curb spending beyond just the veto, current Trump campaign and former Trump administration officials tell RCP that was part of the plan for a second term that never came.
The former president said he believes the 1974 law that gutted impoundment is unconstitutional, and if returned to the White House, would govern accordingly.
“Yes, there’s the effort to have it overturned in courts. Yes, there is the legislative effort, but when you think that a law is unconstitutional,” Vought told RCP, the administration ought to look “to do the bare minimum of what the courts have required,” and “to push the envelope.”
Trump did something like this, exercising what Vought called “impoundment-like authorities,” when he froze nearly $400 million in foreign aid to Ukraine, even though the funds were congressionally appropriated. The Government Accountability Office later said that in doing so, Trump violated the law. He was impeached by the House over a phone call to Ukrainian President Zelensky concerning the money…
Trump believes impoundment would be “a crucial tool” in his fight with the administrative state. “Bringing back impoundment will give us a crucial tool with which to obliterate the Deep State, Drain the Swamp, and starve the Warmongers,” he said in campaign video first obtained and reported by Semafor. “We can simply choke off the money.”
His campaign pointed RCP to the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency within the Department of Homeland Security, an entity that House Republicans allege has been involved in censorship of Americans, as a prime example of where dollars could be impounded.
That’s one issue I literally know nothing about re: Constitutional matters. As I have said ad nauseum, I am seriously math-challenged…goes right over my head. As for the additional military spending….except for the wonderful things he did for the veterans (Community Care especially for me), the military does NOT need “more” money! Because the majority of that money is going right back into the black hole of government contracting and the MIC. And yes, I know ALL about how they hide things in those contracts! It’s called the great dumping ground: Overhead!!!
Hmmmm….are those women’s push-ups he’s doing??? Get your knees off the ground, dude!!! OK, THIS display is disgusting to me…WTH is the purpose of this BS??? Pandering, pure and simple, and no, that is NOT attractive! Dude! Cover up already!!!
Flowers…..I cut these 2 Honeysuckle vines way back this spring but I’m not pulling the old vines off next spring. Maybe they will grow/spread faster.
Before:
Now:
Turned out well, I think! I’m happy with it! But I’m always looking at more flowers…somewhere…anywhere…I almost ordered some gorgeous purple/white double bloom lilies from PCH, turning over in my mind where I could put them. But I refrained….this time, anyway. LOL
My grandma always had an African violet sitting on her kitchen windowsill but I’ve never been able to keep any alive. I gave up after trying twice and I’m not into indoor plants any more. Not enough room here so I go for perennials I can plant permanently instead. I will have to bring the Vinca planter inside for the winter, tho. The only other indoor plant I have is the variegated Philodendron I got from Marilyn.
Ah, yes! Finally, some rain is starting to fall! Still nice and cool at 69! Nice!!!
I thought TopGuv DisHonest was serious about being the nominee…. yesterday Sundance posts Team DeSoros cringe ad and then I see this…makes me wonder sometimes if Trump & RDS aren’t working together…
All eyes will be on Pickens, South Carolina, as thousands drive into the small downtown for former President Donald Trump‘s downtown rally on Saturday, July 1.
In a previous News story, Pickens Police Chief Randal Beach said a crowd of 30,000 is ‘very possible’ for the event on East Main Street. The city of Pickens’ population is 3,370.
Gates open at 9 a.m. for Trump’s campaign event on Main Street and Trump is scheduled to speak at 1 p.m., with guest speakers beginning at 11 a.m. The Trump rally coincides with the Pickens Independence Day Spectacular, which wraps up at 9 p.m. with fireworks at dusk at Bruce Field.
Some attendees slept in line Friday night as a crowd gathered and waited in line in the early Saturday morning hours. Supporters from as far away as Indiana and Florida were among those in attendance.

EXCERPT: “But, also today, Reuters reported that Twitter’s new CEO — the self-styled “Chief Twit” — reached out to the European Union last week to assure local lawmakers that the platform will comply with an incoming flagship reboot of the bloc’s rules on digital governance around illegal content.
A move that will, self-evidently, demand a beefed up legal, trust and safety function inside Twitter if Musk is to actually deliver compliance with the EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA) — at a time when Musk is sharpening the knives to cut headcount.”
“Four NZ rugby players critically injured; vaccine harm is becoming a crime of denial”
BY RHODA WILSON ON JUNE 30, 2023 • ( 19 COMMENTS )
EXCERPT: “Four New Zealand rugby players were critically affected mid-game. Two are in hospital, and two died. The Auckland Rugby Union said they were “unaware of the cause”, but inexplicably added, “We are fortunate that events of this nature are extremely rare” Maybe they should have used the past tense “were”? The events reported on the rugby field are tragic, but when unexpected health events are consistently way above historical levels over a period of two and a half years they can no longer be described as a series of isolated and unrelated tragedies.
Are We Being Led Down the Road to Madness?
By Dr. Guy Hatchard
It is hard to escape the notion that the world is going mad from an undiagnosed cause. Renowned mathematician G H Hardy wrote in 1940 faced with the incomprehensible horror of war, “When the world is mad, a mathematician may find in mathematics an incomparable anodyne.” An anodyne is something that allays pain. As someone who analyses data, I am very clear that the mathematics of health data can no longer be ignored. The data is telling me something has gone terribly wrong.
The New Zealand Herald leads on Monday morning (26 June 2023) with a story “Two Auckland Suburbs Rugby Club players suffer critical, life-threatening injuries in consecutive weeks.” The article covers not just two but four players critically affected mid-game. Two are in hospital, and two died. Read on, and you discover that not all of these were necessarily rugby injuries, rather, some, if not most, were quite possibly medical events caused by something other than rugby.
The events were reported as a blood clot in the brain, a seizure requiring CPR (symptoms typical of a cardiac arrest), a critical brain injury with an undisclosed cause, and an unspecified on-field collapse. All the victims were young with a life ahead of them.”
EXCERPT: “For the past 3+ years I have exposed the American Corporate Christian Churches as willing participants in the Satanic culture, encouraging their members to cooperate with the Government in all the tyrannical COVID measures, including the lock downs and closure of religious houses of worship, as well as becoming vaccine clinics and receiving government funding to inject their members with the Satanic bioweapon shots, including children.
But even prior to the COVID scam, I have exposed the Corporate Christian Church’s participation in child sex trafficking by receiving government funding for the U.S. Government’s child welfare programs, including foster care and adoptions.
This child welfare system is the main pipeline for child exploitation and sex trafficking, and the entire evil system would be crippled and brought to its knees if the Christian churches just stopped participating in it, and stopped receiving government funding to parent other people’s children. See: https://medicalkidnap.com/2019/10/21/christian-churches-redefine-the-meaning-of-orphan-to-justify-participating-in-child-trafficking/
And even though I have been exposing this horrible problem for years now, I have yet to hear any testimonies about how a single church has stepped forward to say they would stop receiving government funds to foster and adopt other people’s children.
Almost every single Christian church in America today believes they are doing “God’s work” by participating in the government child welfare system and taking children away from their biological families, where they are often called “orphans” even though in almost every single case that child still has family members who would willingly care for them if they were just allowed to do so.
And for the very few children who truly are orphans and have nobody to care for them, why does a non-profit church have to receive government funds and enter into their Satanic child welfare system, where the State has total control over that child even while in the custody of a foster family, rather than just take care of that child themselves without being paid by the Government?
But it gets even worse, as the number of clergy who are arrested and convicted of child sex abuse or child sex trafficking is probably at a much higher rate than even the general, non-Christian population. It was reported last month (May, 2023) for example, that one third of the Catholic Churches in California face bankruptcy as they deal with over 3000 lawsuits alleging sex abuse.”

French Police Say “We’re At War With Vermin” As Nationwide Riots Spread Like Cancer –
SATURDAY, JUL 01, 2023 – 05:45 AM
Social unrest spread like cancer across French cities for a fourth consecutive night, with hundreds of buildings and vehicles set ablaze. President Emmanuel Macron’s government struggled to contain the violence, which was sparked on Tuesday after a teenager was shot dead by a police officer.
In an update on Saturday, France’s Interior Ministry said 2,500 fires were reported overnight. Rioters set fire to 1,350 vehicles and 235 buildings nationwide. About 1,300 people were arrested, while the government mobilized 45,000 police officers with armored vehicles to quell the violence.
According to The Telegraph, French police said they were “at war” with “savage hordes of vermin” on Friday night. The country’s top police unions threatened revolt unless Macron’s government restored law and order.
EXCERPT: “Musk, in a post Friday afternoon, claimed that Twitter took the step to improve performance on the platform after third-party companies were “scraping” data and overloading its systems. “Temporary emergency measure,” he tweeted. “We were getting data pillaged so much that it was degrading service for normal users!”
In another tweet, Musk said, “Several hundred organizations (maybe more) were scraping Twitter data extremely aggressively, to the point where it was affecting the real user experience.” He added, “What should we do to stop that? I’m open to ideas.”
Musk alleged that groups that have been data-scraping Twitter, in violation of its terms and conditions, “dgaf & mask their IPs through proxy servers or through orgs that appear legit. For example, a recent massive scraping operation originating from Oracle IP addresses was just using their servers as a laundromat.” He added, “We absolutely will take legal action against those who stole our data & look forward seeing them in court, which is (optimistically) 2 to 3 years from now.”
so what ‘m reading is the fib/see eye a has ramped up efforts to find out info about trump supporters…and who’s got the goods on ultra maggot cuz they’re running out of time

oh my! just got off the phone with mom. we have to use the internet to boost our phone signal…so when you talk (only here at the house) there’s a pause between when i speak and when the listener hears it. (it has to go thru the router, etc)
this concept evades mom.
i tried telling her it’s like a walkie talkie–wait for me to be done before you start talking. she doesn’t. she starts talking and then I stop to hear her and it’s a freaking abbot and costello run around.
i always call her when we go into town because then the phone works reliably but she still insists on trying to call me at home, then gets frustrated.
sigh
Glad you are able to communicate with her at least. I tried to call Mom to let her know I wasn’t coming on Wednesday – never could get ahold of her – and she still doesn’t “get” texting. It was THE dumbest move ever to take out her landline! She was just fine with it before, with a cordless handset big enough for her to handle without fumbling and easy to spot when she couldn’t remember where she left it – just use the cell when she leaves the house. But, noooo, Mandy just HAD to get her a smart phone, which she still can’t figure out how to use, telling Mom to disconnect the LL!!! And I cannot help her with a smart phone. Try to leave a VM and that doesn’t work either. When I asked Mom about it…”well, she’s paying for it!” Besides….”Mandy knows these things!” SMDH – and then she tried to get Mom on FB!!! Oh, FFS…..Mom doesn’t even understand the CONCEPT of the internet and social media!!!
my mom used to have email and we stayed in touch that way and she could do it. then my brother stepped in and got her a cell phone and in the process got rid of her landline. then he canceled her internet. and now she has hundreds of messages–she doesn’t know how to get them off her cell phone.
and no, we didn’t really communicate…LOL i told her we would drive into town and call her this afternoon. took me 7 times saying it before she pieced it together
sigh
Ach! Those pesky kiddos!!! Good grief! Sorry but your brother is as much of an asswipe as Mandy!!! She is my niece, BTW – my Sis’s daughter – the one who foisted off her 6 month old son on Sis, who was an OTR trucker at the time. Mandy was a non-entity in his life until she finally came back when he was in HS. Sis raised him until then…and she just moved right the fuck in. He is now thoroughly brainwashed and treats my Sis like trash…sigh.
Here’s a thought…why don’t you just reverse everything he did? Put it all back the way it was and tell him to keep his fricking hands OFF???
he took her monitor (cuz she didn’t need it anymore) and i don’t know enough about the service providers in that area–let alone the fact that the anointed one did it…LOL
Any more about the leaky faucet? Ya’ know, IDT she doesn’t want to call a plumber because she doesn’t trust them….she wants you to visit….but you already knew that, didn’t you? Would she ever consider moving somewhere closer to you?
my uncle MIGHT come today and look at it…but he’s really busy. i tied telling her we were coming down Friday–she couldn’t understand me.
i know she wants me to visit–we were going to go down anyway–there’s more things to be fixed.
no, she would never leave that house–her memories of dad are tied there and my brother is 5 minutes away.
Even tho he’s useless as teats on a boar hog….ah, geez….well, my Mom is the same about all of my brothers vs. Sis and me so….goes with the territory, I reckon.
But your Mom was never one of those dreaded “women’s libbers,” whereas MY Mom…well, let’s just say…she, of ALL people, should know better!!! She’s gone against the grain since she was a teen-ager!!! And do NOT tell her she couldn’t do anything a man does and probably do it better!!! But that doesn’t apply to the 2 children who are actually most like her!!! And she is totally blind to her own hypocrisy!
Oh,, that’s funny…I’m watching Trump in SC…he was talking about Lindsey Graham, who is there…”..we have our great Lindsey Graham here…” A good number of the crowd started booing and he said, “…I know, he’s half & half, but when we need to get something done…he’s there.”
just got back…we drove into town to talk to mom, get diesel to cut grass tomorrow and get the mail.
my uncle was there at mom’s and is going to replace her faucet.
this was on the road ahead of us on the way home.
“The call was supposedly taped in the state of Florida, you know what that means, it’s a two party state…”

Trump Plan To Bypass Congress and Starve ‘The Deep State’
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2023/06/28/trump_plan_to_bypass_congress_and_starve_the_deep_state__149417.html
But even some conservatives have their doubts…

That’s one issue I literally know nothing about re: Constitutional matters. As I have said ad nauseum, I am seriously math-challenged…goes right over my head. As for the additional military spending….except for the wonderful things he did for the veterans (Community Care especially for me), the military does NOT need “more” money! Because the majority of that money is going right back into the black hole of government contracting and the MIC. And yes, I know ALL about how they hide things in those contracts! It’s called the great dumping ground: Overhead!!!

Nice!!!

INteresting how Musk blocking twitter access unless you have an account coincides with most reports of France riots on….twitter.

Don’t forget – he caved to the demands of France and the EU on censorship! From October 2022:

See:
https://medicalkidnap.com/2019/10/21/christian-churches-redefine-the-meaning-of-orphan-to-justify-participating-in-child-trafficking/

OK, more info on the change at Twitter….
For example, a recent massive scraping operation originating from Oracle IP addresses was just using their servers as a laundromat.” He added, “We absolutely will take legal action against those who stole our data & look forward seeing them in court, which is (optimistically) 2 to 3 years from now.”

oh my! just got off the phone with mom. we have to use the internet to boost our phone signal…so when you talk (only here at the house) there’s a pause between when i speak and when the listener hears it.

Oh, FFS…..Mom doesn’t even understand the CONCEPT of the internet and social media!!!

and no, we didn’t really communicate…LOL i told her we would drive into town and call her this afternoon. took me 7 times saying it before she pieced it together
