Happy Birthday, Sir!

Today is President Donald Trump’s birthday.  I decided not to do a piece on his life, or accomplishments.  Instead, I want to focus on a different aspect of his personality–his generosity! These are articles, letters to the editor, and the like, detailing the many acts of generosity of Donald Trump. I cobbled them together, so pardon the format.

Express-Times Letters to the Editor (a newspaper in the Lehigh Valley, PA)

In this Jan. 30, 2016 file photo, Donald Trump holds a check presentation with a $100,000 contribution from the Donald J. Trump Foundation to Puppy Jake, a veteran’s charity, at a campaign event in Davenport, Iowa. AP

A lot of people may be turned off by his tweets, his mannerisms, or even the way he talks, but the way President Trump treats politicians (whom most Americans hate) is much different than how he treats the American people.

Here are a few examples of his kindness and charitable moments: Stopping the presidential motorcade promptly to thank firefighters. Helping a Harlem hospital repair its elevator systems. Loaning his private airline to the family of a three-year-old boy suffering from a life-threatening medical condition so he could get treatment in New York.

Another story is that of Annabel Hill, whose husband killed himself for insurance money to save his family farm, but the insurance wouldn’t pay for a suicide. Trump stepped in and helped save the farm.

Trump also let Jennifer Hudson and some of her family members stay in Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago for free after her relatives were killed.

Trump sent a bus driver a $10,000 check for stopping a woman from jumping off a bridge.

These are just a few of the many acts of kindness that have gone unnoticed by the media and most Americans. I hope after reading this you have a different opinion of the president. He may be quick with a tweet and fast with the lip, but the man also has a big heart and the character to lead this nation. Please join me in voting for Trump on Tuesday.

I know men like Trump. Givers. They are universally conservative. They give with no expectation of people knowing the depth and breadth of their philanthropy. Such is Trump’s generosity.

I admire these men, and so want to be one of them. I pray for the day when I can give some single mother working as a waitress (or whatever) enough money to ease her mind for a month or two. I want to be the man who sees that street person who just needs a ray of hope, and provides that ray of hope.

I think about how the media has mischaracterized Trump, intentionally. All because the media has been told, “It’s her time.”

Media and other Leftists don’t care how crooked Hillary Clinton is. They don’t care how many people she has killed or had their lives ruined by Hillary Clinton. Because Leftists have their marching orders.

What you won’t learn about Hillary Clinton is anything about her charity. The Clinton Family concerns themselves with themselves. They pretend to care, while blatantly robbing the public who genuinely cares.

Apparently, this is an article that appeared in Townhall. It documents some of Trump’s generosity. This needs to get out. Trump won’t brag about these things, because he’s grateful to have been able to showcase his heart.

Per Townhall:

Donald Trump is a racist, bigot, sexist, xenophobe, anti-Semitic and Islamophobe — did I miss anything? The left and the media launch these hideous kinds of attacks at Trump every day; yet, nothing could be further from the truth about the real estate mogul.

As an entertainment journalist, I’ve had the opportunity to cover Trump for over a decade, and in all my years covering him I’ve never heard anything negative about the man until he announced he was running for president.

Keep in mind, I got paid a lot of money to dig up dirt on celebrities like Trump for a living so a scandalous story on the famous billionaire could’ve potentially sold a lot of magazines and would’ve been a “yuge” feather in my cap. Instead, I found that he doesn’t drink alcohol or do drugs, he’s a hardworking businessman and totally devoted to his beloved wife and children. On top of that, he’s one of the most generous celebrities in the world with a heart filled with more gold than his $100 million New York penthouse.

In 2004, the first season of “The Apprentice” aired and at that time I worked as an entertainment columnist for the “RedEye Edition of the Chicago Tribune” and as a freelancer for “Us Weekly”. I had a gut feeling that Chicago contestant, Bill Rancic, was going to win the reality show.  So I contacted him and covered the hit show the entire season. I managed to score an invite to New York for the show’s grand finale and after-party. This is where I first met Trump and got to ask him a few questions. That year, Rancic did win “The Apprentice”. I attended “The Apprentice” finale the next two years in a row. Between that and the frequent visits Trump and his family made to Chicago during the construction of their Trump International Hotel & Tower, I got a chance to meet most of his family too and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with them. Since the media has failed so miserably at reporting the truth about Trump, I decided to put together some of the acts of kindness he’s committed over three decades which has gone virtually unnoticed or fallen on deaf ears.

In 1986, Trump prevented the foreclosure of Annabell Hill’s family farm after her husband committed suicide. Trump personally phoned down to the auction to stop the sale of her home and offered the widow money. Trump decided to take action after he saw Hill’s pleas for help in news reports.

In 1988, a commercial airline refused to fly Andrew Ten, a sick Orthodox Jewish child with a rare illness, across the country to get medical care because he had to travel with an elaborate life-support system. His grief stricken parents contacted Trump for help and he didn’t hesitate to send his own plane to take the child from Los Angeles to New York so he could get his treatment.

In 1991, 200 Marines who served in Operation Desert Storm spent time at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina before they were scheduled to return home to their families. However, the Marines were told that a mistake had been made and an aircraft would not be able to take them home on their scheduled departure date. When Trump got wind of this, he sent his plane to make two trips from North Carolina to Miami to safely return the Gulf War Marines to their loved ones.

In 1995, a motorist stopped to help Trump after the limo he was traveling in got a flat tire. Trump asked the Good Samaritan how he could repay him for his help. All the man asked for was a bouquet of flowers for his wife. A few weeks later Trump sent the flowers with a note that read: “We’ve paid off your mortgage.”

In 1996, Trump filed a lawsuit against the city of Palm Beach, Florida accusing the town of discriminating against his Mar-a-Lago resort club because it allowed Jews and blacks. Abraham Foxman, who was the Anti-Defamation League Director at the time, said Trump “put the light on Palm Beach – not on the beauty and the glitter, but on its seamier side of discrimination.” Foxman also noted that Trump’s charge had a trickle-down effect because other clubs followed his lead and began admitting Jews and blacks.

In 2000, Maury Povich featured a little girl named Megan who struggled with Brittle Bone Disease on his show and Trump happened to be watching. Trump said the little girl’s story and positive attitude touched his heart. So he contacted Maury and gifted the little girl and her family with a very generous check.

In 2008, after Jennifer Hudson’s family members were tragically murdered in Chicago, Trump put the Oscar-winning actress and her family up at his Windy City hotel for free. In addition to that, Trump’s security took extra measures to ensure Hudson and her family members were safe during such a difficult time.

In 2013, New York bus driver Darnell Barton spotted a woman close to the edge of a bridge staring at traffic below as he drove by. He stopped the bus, got out and put his arm around the woman and saved her life by convincing her to not jump. When Trump heard about this story, he sent the hero bus driver a check simply because he believed his good deed deserved to be rewarded.

In 2014, Trump gave $25,000 to Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi after he spent seven months in a Mexican jail for accidentally crossing the US-Mexico border. President Barack Obama couldn’t even be bothered to make one phone call to assist with the United States Marine’s release; however, Trump opened his pocketbook to help this serviceman get back on his feet.

In 2016, Melissa Consin Young attended a Trump rally and tearfully thanked Trump for changing her life. She said she proudly stood on stage with Trump as Miss Wisconsin USA in 2005. However, years later she found herself struggling with an incurable illness and during her darkest days she explained that she received a handwritten letter from Trump telling her she’s the “bravest woman, I know.” She said the opportunities that she got from Trump and his organizations ultimately provided her Mexican-American son with a full-ride to college.

Lynne Patton, a black female executive for the Trump Organization, released a statement in 2016 defending her boss against accusations that he’s a racist and a bigot. She tearfully revealed how she’s struggled with substance abuse and addiction for years. Instead of kicking her to the curb, she said the Trump Organization and his entire family loyally stood by her through “immensely difficult times.”

Trump’s kindness knows no bounds and his generosity has and continues to touch the lives of people from every sex, race and religion. When Trump sees someone in need, he wants to help. Two decades ago, Oprah asked Trump in a TV interview if he’d run for president. He said: “If it got so bad, I would never want to rule it out totally, because I really am tired of seeing what’s happening with this country.” That day has come. Trump sees that America is in need and he wants to help – how unthinkable!

And then there’s two tweets:

he not only insisted on paying for everything, but insisted on being there in person, too.

They lined up outside the station house to greet the rightful President.

    1. Beautiful, Pat – simply beautiful – and absolutely PERFECT for this day! I particularly like the story of how the city council objected to the height of the flag pole he erected at Mar-A-Lago – it wasn’t according to “code.” So he had the land bulldozed and created a hill that kept the flagpole w/in code and put it up anyway!

As for his being a sexist….he was the FIRST builder in NY to hire a female Construction Foreman! First off, bear in mind – this is PBS. Also, this woman clearly gets hung up on the image that is portrayed of Trump by the media and she takes much of his brash speech far too seriously.

EXCERPT: “”Barbara Res was hired as the Trump Organization’s head of construction in the 1980s, and became one of his closest advisers before leaving more than a decade later. The author of All Alone on the 68th Floor: How One Woman Changed the Face of Construction, Res worked with Trump on some of his biggest projects, including the construction of Trump Tower and the renovation of New York’s Plaza Hotel.

Trump surprised the male-dominated construction industry when he chose Res to supervise the building of Trump Tower. She was one of several women promoted by Trump into prominent positions in his company. “Donald told me that he thought that men were better than women at this, especially in this field,” she remembers. “But he said a good woman is better than 10 good men.”

In the below interview, Res discusses her time as a Trump executive, his management style, and what it was like as a woman to work for him. Today, Res says she is a Hillary Clinton supporter.”

        1. It was nipply again this morning – 56 but up to 60 now, and clear….possible rain tomorrow and into the week-end. I’m noticing now that even the finches are hitting the nectar and suet feeders, as well as the jelly. I still haven’t seen any hummers but that doesn’t mean they aren’t out there.

          1. i only put out 2 hummer feeders instead of 4 because of the rain…and i moved the jelly feeder to a railing under the roof. they found it without a problem

            1. I’ve wondered that now and then thru the years…too bad I didn’t know enough to ask my boss back in the 1980’s, who was a quasi-orthodox Jew – he didn’t wear the cap outside his home, have the dreadlocks or whatever they call them but they did use 2 separate sets of dishes, etc.. Lordy, I was ignorant about EVERYTHING back then! I knew next to nothing about other religions – a little about Catholicism since my BF was Catholic and I took voices lessons from a nun; and a teensy bit about Mormonism – nothing about other parts of the world, nothing about politics, law, money…..sheesh!

              1. Oh, yeah….if I quit smoking and could get over my stage fright – yeah, it’s REALLY bad! I was a high soprano, believe it or not, taught diligently by Sister Cecelia at the Norfolk Catholic Church – I guess I was around 14 or so. I sang a French song at my recital called “Open Thy Blue Eyes, My Love” [Ouvre tes U Blue or something along those lines) – in French (I took 2 years of French in hs)] the highest note F above high C. I was scared shitless and was shaking so badly, I didn’t have to worry about a vibrato!

Michael REALLY wanted/wants me to sing with him and I tried it….once…at the VFW in Norfolk. I can do a mean Patsy Cline (Walking After Midnight, for one) let me tell you!!! We practiced and practiced and practiced at his house and he made all of the technical adjustments to tailor it to my needs.

However, when we got to the VFW and I got up to sing (after about 3 Rum/Cokes, mind you!), he forgot to make those adjustments and….IMO, it was a disaster and I was mortified! Yes, people applauded and said great job and all that but….I knew better. I’ve never tried it again….

LAWSUIT FILED AGAINST FULTON COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY FANI WILLIS –

    VIOLATION OF OPEN RECORDS LAW

Atlanta, GA June 13, 2023: Barrow County resident Debbie Dooley filed a lawsuit against Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her office for violating Georgia’s Open Records Act. Dooley’s Attorney Jared Craig filed the lawsuit electronically with Fulton County Superior Court at 1:30 pm on June 13, 2023.

    • March 21,2023 – Dooley filed an Open Records Request with the Fulton D.A. requesting information on federal grants or federal monies their office has received the past 5 years and how the funds were expended. Ms. Willis office had 3 days to respond to the request. The only communication was acknowledging they received the request.

    • April 4, 2023 – Dooley messaged the Fulton D.A.’s office for an update. She received no response.

    • April 13, 2023 – Dooley filed a complaint with the Georgia Attorney General’s online portal.

    • April 19, 2023 – Dooley received an email from Kristen Settlemire with the A.G.s office requesting documentation so she can begin working on the case.

    • April 21, 2023 – Dooley sent the requested information.

    • April 24, 2023 – Dooley received an email from Ms. Settlemire informing her that the A.G.’s office is unable to mediate complaints with District Attorneys.

Dooley stated, “The last thing I wanted to do was file this lawsuit. I worked within the system and waited patiently for the law to be followed and my request to be filled. When it became apparent D.A. Fani Willis and her office had no intention of abiding by the law, I filed this lawsuit as a last resort.

District Attorneys prosecute individuals that violate Georgia law, and it is disappointing that Ms. Willis and her office believe they are above the law.”

Attorney Jared Craig released the following statement, “Filing a Writ of Mandamus against the Fulton County District Attorney, Fani T. Willis, today is an effort to hold her accountable as a public servant.

Georgia Law provides, “All official duties should be faithfully performed, and whenever, from any cause, a defect of legal justice would ensue from a failure to perform or from improper performance, the writ of mandamus may issue to compel a due performance if there is no other specific legal remedy for the legal rights” O.C.G.A. section 9-6-20.

Willis’ office has completely ignored the open records requests made by the Petitioner, Debbie Dooley. Dooley complied with the formalities of making such a request in writing.

Dooley specifically identified what information and/or documents she was requesting: 1) Records relating to Federal Grants received by Fulton County DA’s Office for the past 5 years; 2) Records relating to any Federal Funding Received by the Fulton County DA’s Office for the past 5 years; and 3) Records of Accounting or Tracing of how any of the Federal Funds Received were spent during the same 5 year period.

When a public servant fails to perform their duties, they are violating their oath of office, they are exposing their office to civil penalties, and they are violating Georgia law. Holding public officials accountable should be the norm, not an extraordinary act. We the People have been ignored for too long.”

  8. “Obama’s Personal Investment Deals Mirror Tax Strategies He Once Criticized–Exclusive details on how Obama’s business deals are designed to minimize tax liabilities.”
    LEE FANG
    JUN 14, 2023

EXCERPT: “Barack Obama campaigned extensively during his presidency to eliminate the “carried interest loophole,” a tax strategy that allows billionaire investors to evade ordinary income taxes. Hedge funds and other private fund managers use this tax treatment to pay long-term capital gains of 20%, a rate that is almost half of what many working Americans pay.

Obama, while in office, said this “loophole” leads to “folks who are doing very well paying lower rates than their secretaries.” However, since leaving the presidency, Obama has employed a similar tax strategy to potentially only pay capital gains taxes for the services he has provided to private business interests.

One example of this is Obama’s strategic partnership with NBA Africa, which was announced in July 2021, as part of an expansion of Africa’s largest men’s basketball league. According to private information I obtained, the deal is structured as a “profit interest” share. This agreement enables Obama to possess a “minority ownership stake” in the NBA Africa venture without making any upfront cash investments. A profit interest share essentially guarantees a portion of future profits through a contractual promise. Celebrities and sophisticated investors often employ this compensation structure as a legal mechanism to minimize taxes resulting from endorsement deals or advisory services.

If certain monetization events occur, such as the sale of NBA Africa, the income Obama receives from the partnership will only be taxed at capital gains, a rate of 20%. Ordinary business income generated from the deal would be taxed as income.

The favorable tax treatment of money earned through a profit interest arrangement resembles the carried interest loophole, which hedge fund and private equity executives use to pay a capital gains tax rate on multimillion-dollar compensation packages that is often lower than the rate paid by middle-class workers earning salaries.

“The Obama profits interest arrangement is a close cousin to carried interest received by private equity and venture capital fund managers,” said Gregg Polsky, a University of Georgia law professor, and former corporate tax lawyer. Obama pushed multiple times during his presidency to eliminate the carried interest loophole, which he condemned as a giveaway to the super-rich. Closing the carried interest loophole so that fund managers’ earnings would be taxed as ordinary income was a prominent feature in Obama’s budget requests to Congress, as well as during public speeches and his re-election campaign.

In 2012, Obama even ran television advertisements criticizing Mitt Romney for his use of the carried interest tax provision during Romney’s career as a private equity executive. In the ad, the narrator claimed Romney “used every trick in the book.”

Asked whether the business arrangement violated the principles Obama professed to support as president, a spokesperson for Obama’s office declined to comment. The spokesperson referred me to a press release noting that the former president intends to use proceeds from the NBA Africa venture to “fund Obama Foundation youth and leadership programs across Africa.”

      1. As usual, I’m bouncing around and just got back to the article – get this shyte!!!

“Over the last seven years, the Obamas have accumulated a vast fortune through glitzy content production deals with Spotify, Netflix, and Amazon. Book sales and speaking fees to banks and trade groups have also generated millions of dollars.

Obama’s newfound personal fortune has vaulted him into the upper echelons of American wealth. Michelle and Barack Obama purchased a 6,892-square foot home in Martha’s Vineyard for $11.75 million in 2019 and an 8,000-square foot home in Washington, D.C., for $8.1 million in 2017. The Obama family is reportedly building several houses on a plot of beachfront Hawaiian property purchased by close friend Marty Nesbitt, the chief executive of Vistria Group, a Chicago-based private equity firm.”

  9. “Biden Admin Bans Transgender He’s Photographed With After Activist’s WH Stunt Goes Viral”

ENTIRE ARTICLE @ WesternJournal: “Even some acts of disrespect at the White House are too much for President Joe Biden. The White House released a statement confirming it had banned trans influencer Rose Montoya from the facility to the New York Post on Tuesday. Montoya displayed his breasts in a TikTok video filmed at a White House LGBT “pride” event on Saturday.

“Are we topless at the White House?” A voice stated in the video, as Montoya covered his nipples with his hands. Another individual appeared with scar marks from breast removal surgery in the display.

The White House wasn’t so amused by the inappropriate stunt. “This behavior is inappropriate and disrespectful for any event at the White House,” a representative for the residence said of Montoya’s actions. “It is not reflective of the event we hosted to celebrate LGBTQI+ families or the other hundreds of guests who were in attendance. Individuals in the video will not be invited to future events.”

Biden called the individuals present at the White House LGBT “pride” event the most courageous group he’d met in the recent past, apparently more so than American military veterans, law enforcement, and first responders.

Montoya later released a TikTok video defending his actions, claiming he hadn’t violated any laws with the display. “I had zero intention of trying to be vulgar or be profane in any way. I was simply living in joy, living my truth and existing in my body,” Montoya said.

The White House flanked the LGBT “pride” flag with American flags in a secondary position during the event.”

  10. “The Covid shot and Turbo Cancer: As Trotsky once said in another venue: “You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in YOU.” Same idea here with regards to the shot and its potential for cancer: Ignore at your own peril”
    BLAISE
    JUN 12, 2023

EXCERPT: “But not to worry! Coming soon is a personalized cancer shot using – you guessed it! – the failed mRNA technology! And Moderna also will have one for flu and also developing mRNA shots for shingles and genital herpes based on the same platform used for its COVID jab — a technology that doesn’t stop infection and can depress your immune function such that you become more prone to infections and chronic diseases of all kinds. The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is also fast-tracking it under the European “priority medicines” (PRIME) scheme. Mercola adds “Contrary to transhumanist belief, your body is not a “hardware platform” and your immune system is not like a piece of software that can simply be “updated” with a new set of genetic instructions. Not even close. It’s more like a spider’s web of interconnected systems and pathways. Pull on one string and the whole network responds with cascades of activity, much of which we still do not understand. It’s beyond foolish to think you can just insert a new genetic instruction on one of the strings and not disturb or impact the rest of the web.”

Dr. Paul Cottrell, currently also finishing his M.D., also discusses the issue of turbo-cancer here (start 25 min mark), discussing LARP4 and 1, that are involved in cell division; the Covid virus has a protein that will interact with this and can accelerate cancer; he discusses other mechanisms for cancer with the shot, NSP5 NSP8, which are tied to epigenetics (we turn on and off processes, such as methylation, etc.) These two turn off tumour suppressor genes and/or turn on oncogenes. In sum, micro RNA, disruption of the genomic code etc. can help cause cancer. When NSP8 interacts with DDX10, it bo is similar to a leukemia pathway. Cottrell is concerned this very well may have been engineered into their system…..”

    Mon Jun 12, 2023 – 2:31 pm EDT

EXCERPT: “(LifeSiteNews) — A pro-life initiative spearheaded by two American women seeks to teach citizens how to assert their religious freedom through informed consent and enable them to avoid dying in a hospital due to unwanted treatments and protocols.

ProtocolKills.com started as an awareness campaign, a place for people to share stories of being caught in the hospital—including of people who never came back out before death. Together with HospitalHostageHelp.com, the website presents a solution to the problem of people dying due to hospital protocols that violate their religious beliefs.

The two sites are now connected via link extensions, enabling people both to share their testimonies and gather the necessary tools to prevent similar tragedy from striking them or their loved ones.

“Our goal is to get information to the people so that the people can be empowered themselves to not depend on any specialist organizations or anything else other than their own knowledge, because knowledge is what’s going to save people,” Greta Crawford, founder of ProtocolKills.com, told LifeSiteNews in a phone interview.

During the same conversation, founder of HospitalHostageHelp.com Laura Bartlett added that it is “a much more difficult task to get [patients] safely out of the hospital” once they are already admitted “as opposed to being prepared before you even go into the hospital.”

After working independently to help Americans get out of the hospital alive, Crawford and Bartlett joined forces to teach citizens about their right to informed consent and how to adopt specific documentation and instructions to ensure that their wishes and religious beliefs about certain treatments are respected in the hospital.”

      1. IKR? I blasted the link to the article out to almost everyone on my e-mail list and just now went back to reading it.

“However, should individuals dislike the wording of the document, there is a caveat at the end of it that allows for people to tailor the form to their needs and beliefs, including a removal of the religious aspect.

The form is found on OurPatientRights.com and ProtocolKills.com alongside a step-by-step video explaining precisely how to complete and use the documents and a set of frequently asked questions.

In addition to the religious freedom grounds, the American Medical Association (AMA) Code of Ethics Opinion 2.1.1 states that “informed consent to medical treatment is fundamental in both ethics and law. Patients have the right to receive information and ask questions about recommended treatments so that they can make well considered decisions about care.”

The AMA also states that “when the patient/surrogate has provided specific written consent, the consent form should be included in the record.” Combined with the freedom to exercise religious beliefs, this guidance provides an effective avenue for patients to receive the care that they need without violating their consciences.

Crawford told LifeSiteNews that she and Bartlett very intentionally do not monetize the information or documents shared on their websites “because it’s free information, it’s public knowledge, and we want everyone to have access to it, to have the opportunity to save themselves.”

“[We] are very adamant that we don’t monetize misery,” Bartlett added. “There’s been enough suffering and fear to go around the world many times since [the] beginning of COVID and we are not part of that. We are part of solutions…We both have not monetized any of our work or services.”

They request that this practice is respected and followed by the public, and that people use the information only to help themselves and their loved ones survive hospitalizations.”

NF: I watched most of the video – excellent! This is much more specific than my generic off-the-net Advanced Living Directive, altho it is notarized. I’ll leave that in place, delegating my Sis w/Gage as back-up, but I’ll keep this handy on my computer. If I’m not able to do it, Gage or Sis can print it off…then again, maybe I’ll just go ahead and print a few just in case…ya’ never know! I’ll add it in my little safe with my other originals. They both know where to find my legal papers.

What we are witnessing is election interference at its worse (again).

Democrats, the federal bureaucracy, and the media hope to distract the American people with Trump, Trump, Trump in hopes they forget about the abysmal mess and incompetence of Biden.

This is a man who falls up the stairs, can’t remember what he ate for breakfast, caused unprecedented economic hardships, opened the border, failed our military, held back our children, and has weaponized the government against its opposition.

This is a dark time in the U.S.A.

    — Brandon Jackson, of Baltimore, Maryland, came home on May 25 to find that he had been locked out of his Amazon Echo
    — When he contacted an Amazon executive, he was told a delivery driver had reported hearing ‘racial slurs’ from his doorbell and it was under investigation
    — Six days later, he would gain access to his accounts again without an explanation from Amazon

  15. we had a hummer hit the front window. when he fell, he landed in between the deck boards somewhat. hubby used the fly swatter (turned on the side) to help him get back on the flat. he sat there a long time, then tried to fly and get stuck back in the cracks. i gave him a long time to calm himself down and then went out with a dowel and came up under him and he sat on the dowel. he was there a few seconds and flew away.

  16. “Iconic Mont Saint-Michel Abbey celebrates 1,000 years”

    By Solène Tadié
    Paris, France, Jun 13, 2023 / 07:00 am

EXCERPT: “It was exactly a millennium ago that the first stone of the abbey church of Mont Saint-Michel, in French Normandy, was laid. The monument that the poet Victor Hugo called the “Khéops of the West” has since become one of the highest symbols of French Catholic identity and one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the world, with more than 3 million visitors a year.

This important anniversary will give rise to a number of celebrations that will continue through the fall of 2023. Standing on relatively inhospitable terrain, enthroned on a rocky islet less than a kilometer in diameter, surrounded by a vast sandy plain subject to the vagaries of the tides, the UNESCO World Heritage site has stood the test of time, offering itself as a spectacle for dozens of generations to see.

Indeed, the history of this place of prayer and pilgrimage was as precarious and tumultuous as its surroundings. While the construction of the present abbey church dates back to 1023, a first church dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel is said to have been built as early as 708 on the mount, then known as Mont-Tombe.”

  17. NF: Some Muslims see clearly….

“‘Polish policy, beautiful’ – Australian Muslim influencer praises Poland’s strict migration policies, says the West imported ‘garbage’ who don’t want to work — “These Islamic extremists, they don’t want to work, they want free welfare. They want to marry French women with blond hair and blue eyes.”
    June 14, 2023
editor: REMIX NEWS author: GRZEGORZ ADAMCZYK

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “The Polish government has reiterated its stance against the proposed compulsory relocation of migrants in the EU. That stance was approved in the autumn of last year by the Australian Muslim influencer Mohammad Tawhidi, who also criticized Western governments for making mistakes over their approach to the migration crisis.

Commenting on the migration issue, Tawhidi challenged Western countries and said that the crisis was of their own making. “You are in a crisis. You went to the Muslim countries, and you imported the garbage that the Muslim countries wanted to put in prison or isolate away from society. You went and you imported them. Why? For cheap labor. But these Islamic extremists, they don’t want to work, they want free welfare. They want to marry French women with blond hair and blue eyes. They don’t have time for work,” he said.

According to Polish state media outlet TVP.info, Tawhidi voiced his support for Poland ‘s sensible approach towards migration. “Look at Poland, they don’t complain about Islamic extremism. Not a single terrorist attack in Poland. The moment they sense there’s a problem, they crack down on it. Polish policy, beautiful. The French? No, come (they tell the migrants),” explained the imam.

Although terror attacks have significantly abated in France, the country has seen some of the worst attacks in all of Europe related to Islamic extremism. Over 250 people have been killed in terrorist attacks in France since just 2015, which was also the same year Hervé Cornara was beheaded by an Islamic terrorist. Just this year, French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin asked the U.S. government for greater intelligence sharing and warned of a resurgence in Islamic terrorist threats in Europe ahead of France hosting global sporting events in the coming year.

Many attacks have also been foiled. France remained the EU member state with the most arrests made on its soil for suspected jihadist terrorist offenses in 2021. Of the total 260 arrests across the bloc, 96 were conducted in France, with Spain and Germany trailing in its wake with 39 and 24, respectively.

Now, the EU Migration Pact has been adopted by the EU interior ministers, with only Poland and Hungary voting against the measure. Countries that reject mandatory migrant relocations will face a €20,000 fine for every migrant they reject, which could quickly add up to billions. Poland has rejected the deal and demands that it should be considered by the full European Council summit where decisions have to be taken unanimously.”

  18. “Annecy tragedy: Ex-wife of Syrian knifeman who stabbed children says she tried to warn French security services before attack–The attack in Annecy fits a pattern of children being targeted by migrants”
    June 14, 2023
editor: REMIX NEWS author: JOHN CODY

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “The man suspected of wounding six people, including four children, with a knife in the French town of Annecy on June 8 could have been stopped if French security services had heeded the warning of the perpetrator’s ex-wife. Abdalmasih Hanoun’s ex-wife, who is herself of Syrian origin, says she warned French and Swiss authorities about her former husband months before the attack. However, these authorities ignored her, according to the woman.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, a friend of the wife said: “They should have listened to her when she contacted them. Maybe it could have been stopped. “

Multiple media reports indicate that Hanoun allegedly fought in the Syrian civil war and was the only survivor of his unit in the army, the others having been killed by jihadists. When Sweden denied him citizenship, he left his wife and three-year-old daughter eight months ago and attempted to apply for asylum in Switzerland and France. Four days after his application was rejected in France, he went on a stabbing rampage in Annecy. He is charged with attempted murder and could be imprisoned for life.
    (Video)
“He was the only one surviving on his team,” a friend of the wife told the Daily Mail. After he fled from Syria, he stayed at a refugee camp before arriving in Sweden. The wife only learned of the attack after a reporter called her about it. The friend of the ex-wife said: “She got home quickly and didn’t tell her colleagues where she was going. She couldn’t believe what she saw on the news and couldn’t bring herself to see the video of him attacking children. He never behaved like that in his life. He loved his own daughter more than himself.”

“After two years, we got married, but he couldn’t get Swedish citizenship, so he decided to leave the country. We split up because I didn’t want to leave Sweden,” she told Le Parisien over the phone. The Swedish Migration Authority confirmed that he had obtained a residence permit in 2013, but had failed several times to obtain nationality since 2017.

French Minister of Interior Gerard Darmanin implied there could be a link between the man’s asylum application being refused and his decision to go on the rampage, calling it a “troubling coincidence.” The man suspected of the attack had been told on June 4 that his application for asylum in France could not be accepted, as he had already held refugee status in Sweden for 10 years and was therefore legally present in France. The 31-year-old Syrian had arrived in France eight months ago.

“For reasons that we can’t quite explain, he then applied for asylum in Switzerland, Italy and France, which he didn’t need to do because he already had asylum in Sweden,” explained the minister on TF1. “It is indeed a troubling coincidence that last Sunday he knew the answer from the French administration: No asylum since you already have it in Sweden, and then he went ahead with the act,” Darmanin said.

The case follows a number of similar stabbing attacks and murders targeting children, including a stabbing attack just last month on a Berlin playground involving a migrant scaling a fence and randomly stabbing two 8-year-old girls, a case from last year involving a migrant stabbing a child repeatedly in the head while she ate breakfast in her school, and the rape and murder of 12-year-old schoolgirl Lola. The case involving Lola, which received the most attention from the international media, led to widespread criticism of French President Emmanuel Macrons’ migrant policy and failure to deport criminal migrants.”

  19. Well, we’ve heated up considerably – glad I got my walk-about done earlier! Up to 87 now and sunny…house closed up, windows, doors, curtains closed…keep it as cool as possible as long as possible w/o using a/c. I did finally get the a/c unit cleaned out with the hose – bunch of leaves underneath and around the edges, and sprayed the dust, pollen, etc. from the sides. All too often, i forget about that and considering how old that unit is, I can’t afford to skimp on routine maintenance!
