What Shall We Make Today?

Picnic season is starting, so let’s make an easy, no bake dessert! Chocolate Lasagna!

Recipe Ingredients:

1 package regular Oreo cookies (not the Double Stuff kind) – about 36 cookies

5 Tablespoon butter, melted

8-ounce package cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup granulated sugar

2 Tablespoons cold milk

Optional – 4 tbsp chocolate liqueur such as Godiva Chocolate Liqueur or Bailey’s.( If you don’t want to use this, just leave it out! No substitution of another liquid is required.)

12-ounce tub Cool Whip, divided

2 of 3.9-ounce packages Chocolate Instant Pudding

3 1/4 cups cold milk

1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips

Instructions:

Crush 36 Oreo cookies. You can use a food processor, but you could also place them in a large ziploc bag and crush them with a rolling pin or meat tenderizer mallet. Crush until the Oreos have turned into fine crumbs.

Add the Oreo crumbs to a large bowl. Stir in melted butter. Use a fork to mix the butter into the cookie crumbs. Transfer the mixture into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish, pressing the crumbs into the bottom of the dish. Place the baking dish into the refrigerator and work on the additional layers.

In a large bowl mix the cream cheese with a mixer until light and fluffy. Add 2 Tablespoons of milk and sugar. Mix well. Add the chocolate liquor if desired. Stir in 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip and completely mix. Spread this mixture over the Oreo crust.

In a bowl, add 3 and 1/4 cups cold milk to the chocolate instant pudding. Whisk for several minutes until the pudding starts to thicken. Use a spatula to spread the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer. Allow the dessert to firm up on the countertop for 5 minutes.

Spread the remaining Cool Whip on top. Next sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the top. Place in the freezer for 1 hour, or the refrigerator for 4 hours then serve.

This dessert can be frozen for a week.

ENJOY!

It looks like they are storing documents by tokenizing them as NFTs, and putting them on the blockchain, if I understand correctly.

If so, that should make it a permanent record that can be accessed by anyone, again, if I understand correctly.

If so, governments would have no ability to go in and ‘scrub’ documents, as they are so fond of doing, whenever they need to hide evidence of their criminal activity.

  2. Sliding down – I’m back and found a notice in my mailbox that the VA was trying to contact me to set up the CT scan! Dr. Lux told me I had to finish the amoxicillin first but, apparently not! I am scheduled for next Monday here in Plainview! Yeah!!! I also gave her a heads up that I think the tooth roots had penetrated the lower sinus cavity. She said, “Oh, my! Yes, we’ll look at that!” Progress, finally!!! There has been no change to speak of – the occasional nasal flood has continued off-and-on and the remains of the 2 eye teeth are still sticking out with some pain when I press on them. Taste/smell issues also remain the same. At least they are FINALLY going to look further!

It poured down rain off and on going to Norfolk but had let up by the time I headed home. Still only 69 outside and cloudy, with more rain possible tonight, tomorrow, etc. And cooler temps, thankfully.

  3. so they indicted the valet too…who else?
    FTA
An aide to former President Donald Trump, Walt Nauta, has been charged by the special counsel as part of their probe into Trump’s alleged taking of classified information, sources tell ABC News.

Nauta, a former valet in the Trump White House who left his role to join the former president as a personal aide in early 2021, was indicted by the same grand jury in Florida that indicted Trump on Thursday, the sources say.

It is not immediately clear what the exact charges are and an attorney for Nauta declined to comment when contacted by ABC News.

  4. interesting fight…some outlets are suing for the manifesto and the parents of the shooter, are saying they want the families of the victims to have rights to the manifesto.
    FTA
On Thursday in a Tennessee court, the attorney for the Parents of Covenant School shooter Audrey Hale said they intend to assign the rights of Hale’s manifesto over to the families of the children killed in the shooting.

According to the Tennessee Star, attorney David Raybin argued that the Hales have the right to their daughter’s manifesto and writings. They claim that since the police took the documents from their home it is their property and they can assign them to whomever they want.

    1. Hmmm…..that’s a tough one…that would be ok, I guess, but those parents need to make it public. Yes, they lost a child but they weren’t the only ones terrorized that day – the other children present were terrorized, too, as were their families. That could go a long way towards explaining it to those children and I believe others were also wounded, were they not?

    Here Are Some Truths:

    1) This is a politically-motivated, weaponized indictment

    2) Republican infighting re-elects Joe Biden

    3) If you are trying to woo Trump voters, it’s not going to work by posting disparagingly about the indictment

    4) Unless we build a GOTV infrastructure now, then Biden/DOJ has already won

    5) This injustice will continue & nothing will have changed tomorrow if we only post on social media

But worth noting that Trump aide Margo Martin, who taped the conversation at Bedminster in July 2021, told lawyers she testified that she did not recall Trump showing off any documents to participants, per ppl familiar.

so people around him were taping him? is Florida one of those states where you can secretly tape someone?

    1. “Florida’s wiretapping law is a “two-party consent” law. Florida makes it a crime to intercept or record a “wire, oral, or electronic communication” in Florida, unless all parties to the communication consent. See Fla. Stat. ch. 934.03. Florida law makes an exception for in-person communications when the parties do not have a reasonable expectation of privacy in the conversation, such as when they are engaged in conversation in a public place where they might reasonably be overheard. If you are operating in Florida, you may record these kinds of in-person conversations without breaking the law. However, you should always get the consent of all parties before recording any telephone conversation and any in-person that common sense tells you is private.”

The precedent is now FULLY set. What an operation. @realDonaldTrump
was indicted by a State prosecutor. Now, he’s been indicted by a Federal prosecutor. From this day forward, all ex presidents can be indicted and charged by both State and Federal entities.

When it comes time to arrest Obama, Biden, Clinton or Bush, the argument could be made, “you can’t do this, it’s never been done before”. They can’t say that anymore because they are doing it Trump right now…more slings and arrows.

  8. Good grief! Look at what they’re doing to Brandon Straka now!!!!

    Dear Patriots,

“Our “justice” system has become a weapon pointed straight at all of us to try to silence and destroy us. In addition to my criminal case, you may know I am being sued by 8 Capitol police officers whom I’ve never met or encountered in my entire life for assault and battery.

Here’s the story: A Soros funded non-profit law firm in DC found 8 black Capitol police officers and sued me along with Donald Trump and others under the KKK Act, alleging a white supremacist attack on these officers. That was their first lie. The judge didn’t fall for that one. However, I do have to defend myself on accusations of “assault and battery” (no, you’re not missing anything- I did NOT commit any assault and battery on J6 or any other day. These people are flat out lying about everything). I‘ve never seen these officers in my entire life.

The case against me has entered discovery. We just began. Today these officers had to return their responses to us for our first round of interrogatory questions for them. One of our questions was for each officer to list their locations on January 6th. NONE of these officers were on the same side of the building I was on (remember, I was on the east side GROUNDS for a short period of time then left and went back to my hotel).

But I almost fell out of my chair when I read the response of one of the officers…He said he was IN MARYLAND during the time I was on Capitol grounds. HE WASN’T EVEN AT THE CAPITOL!!

So to recap: I’m being sued for assault and battery by a police officer who was in a different state than I was in at the time I would have been able to cause his alleged injuries. The remaining 7 officers were also in various parts of the Capitol or the west side grounds; far, far away from where I was. All officers claim they were harmed by pepper spray, bear spray, and fire extinguishers (I don’t know if they were hit or sprayed with these fire extinguishers- that remains unclear). Needless to say, I had no pepper spray, no bear spray, and I wasn’t carrying any spare fire extinguishers on that day.

This case is the perfect embodiment of all things January 6th: lies, lies, lies… corruption, corruption, corruption… weaponization of law to try to harm effective conservative voices. I’m going to fight and these people to the bitter end and EXPOSE THEM. My lawyers and I are going to show the world EVERY SINGLE LIE these people tell.”

He did include a request for help funding his fight – he has not done that before for himself, IDT. He has asked people to contribute who were part of the WalkAway Movement but never personally. I’d send him a ton of $$$ if I had it…who knows! Maybe I’ll win that June 30 PCH award of $7K/week for life!!! ROFL

so we had to order their stain–came yesterday. and the door is a little smaller–just enough that we need new trim outside AND then when all of that is finished we can retile the entry way…
      sigh

Yep, won’t work. Biden will leave, not Trump.

As Bongino said, “They’re using the same formula they used for “collsion.” 1) Create a crime that doesn’t exist; 2) Accuse Trump of breaking the law on a non-crime 3) Convict him of a non-crime

BTW, Bongino had MTG on today. Bongino mentioned stupid Joe challenging a reporter yesterday who asked him about his crime with a laugh followed by the challenge, “Then, show the money; where’s the money?”

MTG said, “We know where the money is, at least on two of these crimes. We have the bank statments that show the money, at least on those.” Bongino was stunned. Yep, they have Biden.

Then, MTG said, “You should have seen the faces of Cori Bush and Ro Khanna when they took a look at them. They were stunned, didn’t say a word. Well, at least I think that’s why the look on Bush’s face. She might be too dumb to know what she was looking at.”

I’m going to email Ro Khanna since he’s the guy always being portrayed as a man of integrity. Were that so, he’d be calling for Biden’s resignation and Merrick Garland’s as well.

  14. “Annecy mayor described town as ‘refuge for those fleeing war’ days before Syrian migrant knife attack on toddlers — “Annecy is a land of resistance to fascism, a land of solidarity,” François Astorg tweeted last month in response to a nationalist march through the town”
    June 09, 2023
editor: REMIX NEWS author: THOMAS BROOKE

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “François Astorg, the mayor of the town that was the site of one of the most heinous crimes in Europe’s recent history on Thursday, waxed lyrical about the town’s dedication to inclusivity and diversity just days before a Syrian migrant embarked on a stabbing spree targeting toddlers.

“Annecy is a land of resistance to fascism, a land of solidarity, a city of refuge for those fleeing war, misery and misfortune in the world,” Astorg tweeted on May 23, describing it as his administration’s “duty” and “honor” to receive new arrivals to Europe. Astorg had sent his tweet in condemnation of a nationalist march that had taken place in the town on the evening of May 16 as activists carried torches and French flags through the streets before stopping in front of the Notre Dame church.

“Last night our city council unanimously adopted a Republican wish condemning the demonstration that took place last Tuesday evening. Xenophobic, ultra-nationalist values will never have a place in our city,” Astorg said in response to the march.

Fast-forward a fortnight, and the Annecy mayor was leading the tributes to four young children — the eldest of whom was just three years old — and two adults who were stabbed by a 31-year-old Syrian refugee at a park in the town. French media reported the attacker, known only as Abdalmasih H., is understood to have been living in Sweden since 2013 where he had been granted asylum and is married to a Swedish woman with whom he has a three-year-old daughter.

He had also claimed asylum in France and a number of other European countries, but his application was rejected a few days prior to the attack on the basis that he already had the rights he was applying for due to his refugee status in Sweden.

“His request in France was therefore pointless. He was legal from the point of view of EU law,” a source close to the investigation told the French newspaper Libération.

French authorities provided an update on the investigation on Friday, with the Annecy prosecutor’s office confirming the suspect’s custody has been extended. No further communication from the prosecutor is expected in the short term.

Meanwhile, French Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne announced on Friday the condition of the victims was improving. “I am closely monitoring the state of health of the victims. Their condition is stable. Fortunately, all the injured children were able to be operated on,” she told French media. Three of the four children were hospitalized in Grenoble following the attack, while a fourth child was transferred to a hospital in Geneva.”

Go read Judicial Watch v. National Archives and Records Administration.

It should have a direct bearing on this indictment.

Judicial Watch sued for Bill Clinton’s recordings that he had created with historian Taylor Branch and had stored them in his sock drawer. Clinton took them from the White House with him into private life and there was classified material on the tapes and it included some important stuff.

The Judges ruling in that case in 2012 should exonerate Trump from any alleged wrongdoing. The Judge said a couple of important things. Amy Berman Jackson, the judge in that case said that the President had an absolute unreviewable right to take any records or documents that he wants when he leaves office. She said no one can come back and second guess or double think or ask questions about what the President elects to take with him.

In her ruling, Jackson wrote that the President enjoys unconstrained authority to make decisions regarding the disposal of documents, although the President must notify the Archivist before disposing of records….. neither the Archivist nor Congress has the authority to veto the Presidents’s disposal decision.

This ruling has existed without challenge or question for ten years.
