I fell in love with this lighthouse and it’s so simple to make!
This is from the Crafts by Courtney website.
Supplies Needed for Your DIY Lighthouse Project:
Clay Pots in various sizes
Solar Light
E6000 Glue
Paint Brush
Americana Decor Outdoor Living 2oz – Picket Fence
Americana Decor Outdoor Living 2oz – Poolside
Step 1 – Paint Pots White

Step 2 – Add Your Blue Accent Color

Step 3 – Glue Pots together

Step 4 – Add your Light
I found a solar light at Wal-Mart to place at the top of the Lighthouse. I used a small hack saw to cut the bottom of the solar light off, so that it would sit flush on the top of the lighthouse. I added a little E6000 glue to this part as well, and let sit overnight.

Step 5 – Add WindowsFor the window I decided to change this step last minute. I was originally going to use the black Iron gate paint. But I cut out my window shape in black vinyl to use as a stencil. Then I decided to just stick with the black vinyl as my window. That vinyl won’t go anywhere. But you can always paint in your window as well. Both options will work.

Finishing Touches
Now let’s take is baby outside and display it!
I’m very excited with how this DIY Lighthouse turned out, I really wanted to keep it simple with the details. But you can get pretty detailed with a project like this as well. I pinned some great ideas on my Pinterest page.
A few people have asked me where I got the base for the lighthouse. The base at the bottom of the lighthouse is a round paver I found at Wal-Mart. I used the outdoor paint to paint that as well.

The 3 of us: Mom, her, and me are like 3 peas in a pod, with slight variations, the biggest being in size since I am the only tiny one in the family now. LOL – the best difference is Carol’s disposition – she doesn’t raise her voice, except in rare cases, but she has this droll way of saying things – zingers that catch you completely unaware because her voice doesn’t rise, she doesn’t get loud. Of course, that’s not to say she never gets loud….oh, yeah, she’s good at that, too, when she wants to be! And she is sooo much more patient that me! She can center me and bring me back to earth better than anyone else!
Oh, Pat – you can’t imagine her stories – remember? I even bought a voice recorder and sent it to her to record some of her stories from the road, so I could transcribe them. Hell, neither one of us could figure out how to work the danged thing! Her GS was going to show her but they got sidetracked with the goats and chickens and geese and ducks….well, you know – it was fair season!!! LOL

Indicting Donald Trump under the Espionage Act for Mar-a-Lago documents would be a fully insane abuse of power that it’s hard to wrap your head around:
First of all, the Espionage Act is an unconstitutional relic of World War I that was passed in order to criminalize dissent against the war.
Second, it was signed into law decades before President Truman created the modern system of classification/declassification and so makes no reference to whether a document has been deemed classified.
Instead, it makes it a crime to retain documents related to the national defense that could be used to harm the United States, which in the case of Donald Trump is whatever the DOJ and Jack Smith want it to be.

As with many of us, when he first announced, I laughed and shook my head – “look at that! Anyone will run for President these days!” WTH? That dude who’s been married 3 times, who owns the Miss America Pageant, that guy from that show, The Apprentice, that I’ve never watched? Yeah, right! What a hoot!
One of the things that started to change my mind was that very thing! “Well, if they don’t like him – the Hollyweird insiders, his rich compatriots – there must be more to this….” And I started listening to what he was actually saying rather than focusing on the mannerisms and the playboy history. Didn’t take long after that!

TPTB fought him in NYC, they fought him in FL, and he had to deal with those unions on top of it all! ANYONE who can come out smelling like the golden rose after all that deserves the accolades. HE DOESN’T QUIT! But he also doesn’t forget those who had his back along the way – loyal to a fault, some would say.

The Trump team has submitted evidence of witness tampering.
Feds inform Trump he is target likely to be indicted as DOJ rebuffs prosecutorial misconduct claim

SNIP
They have purportedly introduced to grand jury witnesses a recording Trump’s office made in 2021 during an interview with former chief of staff Mark Meadows’ biographers in which the former president allegedly talked about a document he described as ”confidential” and “secret” and in his possession allegedly written by former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley that outlined a war plan against Iran. “Confidentiial” and “secret” are terms that can be used to mark a classified document, or can just be colloquial terms suggesting a document with sensitive.
While prosecutors have not located an exact document matching Trump’s description, they found one with classified markings written by others laying out an Iranian battle plan that Trump returned to the National Archives more than a year ago.

“While prosecutors have not located an exact document matching Trump’s description………….”
Could that be the very thing, someone had told them about, and the reason for the search at PDJT’s home, and all the secrecy about what they were looking for and the reason for issuing the warrant???

I’ll bet it was. And when they didn’t get what they were looking for and get their gotcha moment, that’ll be why they made a big song and dance photographing all that “secret” stuff thrown all over the floor.

Does the milley document really exist or was it just a red herring PDJT threw into the mix, for reasons as yet unknown.

Comer says no contempt for Wray. Apparently FBI will allow all members of Congress view the document but will not turn over document itself.
How is this a win for the Congress? Without the document in hand the Dems can say anything they like about the contents without proof. The Congress will have no hard documentation as proof for future impeachment should there be a decision to do so.
Another fail.
Sigh, never elect a weak person to do a strong persons job.

How much do you bet that should there ever be a true attempt in the future to obtain the document in a court of law, it will be missing.
It will be necessary to determine guilt or innocence. Of course, innocence until proven guilty applies.

Disturbing Rise in Cognitive Problems in 2023
Do you Know Anyone Who Recently Declined Intellectually?
IGOR CHUDOV
JUN 7, 2023
EXCERPT: “This blog post is a departure from my usual fare, but it touches upon a topic that worries me greatly. I want to bring attention to a disturbing trend I have noticed, which has just been confirmed by the Dutch Health Institute RIVM.
The trend is a rapid decline in the cognitive abilities of many people.
I own a small business and deal with many people and other small businesses. Most provided reliable service, would remember appointments, followed up on issues, and so on. I noticed that lately, some people have become less capable cognitively. They forget essential appointments, cannot concentrate, make crazy-stupid mistakes, and so on.
A friend of this blog, Rintrah Radagast, found a disturbing report by the Dutch National Institute for Public Health called RIVM. He wrote a great post about that report. I will look at this report from a slightly different angle.”

So Pence is so important that he’s running around calling Trump his former running mate. I was so happy to hear Steve Ducey reword it for him and said “I noticed that you’re trying to run as a Congressman, a Govenor, but you are far more known as the running mate and VP of Donald Trump”. And he got all flummoxed and didn’t have a comeback.

“With Canadian raging fires now, why not send all the unsold Bud Light to help quench the fire? Doesn’t have to be water to put it out, and you get some needed good publicity for a change… Bud Light is co-sponsoring an ‘all-ages’ drag show party: ‘Safe space’ ‘family festival event’…”

“Despite tumbling sales and negative press coverage as a result of its partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, Bud Light is reportedly co-sponsoring an “all-ages Pride event” in Flagstaff, Arizona, according to the Flagstaff Pride website. The party, which is called “Pride in the Pines” and includes drag queens and other performers, lists Bud Light as one of the companies sponsoring the June 17 event. (Bud Light is mentioned prominently in one of the posters.) The event is listed as a “family festival event” and a family-friendly, “safe space” for all visitors.
Other big-name companies sponsoring the all-ages event for Pride Month include Old Navy, Toyota and Coca-Cola USA, according to an event flyer.
Here’s an idea, Anheuser Busch: With Canadian raging fires now, why not send all the unsold Bud Light to help quench the fire? Doesn’t have to be water to put it out, and you get some needed good publicity for a change!”

“The latest U.S. Drought Monitor paints two very different pictures across the country: A remarkable recovery in drought across the Plains versus declining conditions in the Midwest, as drought expands its grip and moves into the East. Farmers in Corn Belt states are concerned about the impact on crop conditions, especially in areas where the subsoil moisture has been depleted over the past year.
USDA Meteorologist Brad Rippey, who helps author the drought monitor, says the changes in the map over the past four weeks show the story best, with some major improvements across the Plains and with deepening drought in the Midwest.
While several areas in the central Corn Belt are experiencing drought, the dryness has been parked in the western Corn Belt longer, Rippey says, which is a key factor when you consider soil moisture and now short-term dryness compounding with the longer-term drought situation.
“The drier areas west of the Mississippi include Nebraska and western Iowa; those areas have been dry much longer,” Rippey says. “You see a dry signal in those areas going back up to a year or more.” Communities around Omaha and Lincoln, Neb., and into western Iowa, have been running out of water, which is a reflection of the longer-term drought picture. “This spring, we have had short-term drought on top of that long-term drought, so we’re seeing a big array of problems, everything from browning pastures to stress on emerging summer crops,” Rippey says.
East of the Mississippi, in states such as Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio, Rippey says farmers are seeing a short-term dry signal.
“We still have plenty of subsoil moisture. If we get the crops emerged and established, those roots should be able to reach down into that subsoil moisture. But for the time being, it’s extremely dry on the surface. Just a few weeks of dryness has depleted that upper level of soil moisture, which makes it tough to get the crop evenly emerged and established,” Rippey says. “If we can just get a little bit of rain in the next few weeks that should help the crops, and then get the crops into that deeper soil moisture.”
