[I found this article on alternate uses for baby powder on a website devoted to frugality.]
Baby powder isn’t just for babies anymore {though, to be fair, I never did use it on my babies}. Turns out, there’s actually lots of way to put baby powder to good use. Here’s my top 10 favorite ways to use it:
Throw a bottle in your beach bag because it helps to get the sand off of your body at the end of the day. Sprinkle it on, it will absorb the moisture and the sand should easily brush right off.
Sprinkle a little in your dish washing/cleaning gloves. It makes it easier to get them on and off.
Sprinkle on the sheets in the summer. It is supposed to give sheets a cool feeling {my guess is that it does more for your sticky summer body than anything else, but it probably still feels soft and luxurious, so I am totally trying it.}
Give your flower bulbs a little baby powder bath before you plant them. The baby powder deters mold in the bulbs and supposedly deters critters from wanting to eat them. Just sprinkle some baby powder in a ziploc bag, add the bulbs and shake.
Get playing cards to stop from sticking. Put the cards and the baby powder in a baggie and shake. Dust the cards off, and they shouldn’t stick anymore.
Give your dog a dry bath. Sprinkle some baby powder on, let it sit a few minutes and then brush your dog. {Hmmm, I know some people I’d like to try this on.}
Use as an aftershave–for men and women. It’s cheaper and leaves skin feeling as soft as, well, a baby’s bottom. Ha.
Untangle knots. Got a necklace that has a knot, or a shoelace that won’t budge. Sprinkle a little baby powder on it, it will help loosen the knot.
Freshen those old books you snagged at a garage sale by sprinkle baby powder in the pages. Let the book sit for a bit, and then shake the baby powder out.

Use to absorb grease stains on clothes. Sprinkle baby powder on the spill and blot the grease out. Repeat until stain is gone, brushing off excess baby powder each time.

K. T. McFarland, a former Deputy National Security Advisor, says the FBI, Justice Department, and CIA will rig the 2024 U.S. presidential election, following their success in rigging 2016 and 2020, because they won’t allow any candidate to win that would hold them accountable:
“We now have black-and-white evidence that the FBI interfered in the 2016 election. When they failed to elect Hillary Clinton, they set out to destroy the Trump administration.
Go back to 2020. This time, the CIA got involved in the election with those 51 former intel agents who said the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation.
So they’ve gotten away with it for two elections. They will surely try and get away with it in 2024, right? Because there are no consequences… There is now hard evidence that there was election interference by the U.S. intelligence agencies and the Department of Justice.
Those individuals must be terrified that a Republican president comes in with a Republican Attorney General, investigates them, and charges them with all of the crimes they have committed over the last eight years. Take it to the bank. They will absolutely interfere in 2024…
These people are selling us out. Not only to foreign leaders, but they are interfering in our elections. They are tearing up the Constitution… This is just a gut punch to the American people.”

Interesting. I came across an article that is not about race but about gender issues, and it claims that it’s all about money. Both issues, and many others, are related to money.
https://www.meghanmurphy.ca/p/its-the-funding-stupid
It is true that this [trans] movement appeared suddenly, as if out of nowhere, leaving many of us searching for an explanation. What other movement in history has taken hold of every institution, media outlet, and political party so quickly?
The answer, though, is not in Republican strategizing. It is much more simple than that: it was about funding.
In 2015, the Supreme Court ruled by a 5-to-4 vote that same-sex couples had the right to marry. This decision was, as reported by The New York Times, “the culmination of decades of litigation and activism.” This changed things for individual gay people, of course, but it also changed things for the gay rights organizations who had been fighting for this decision for years. The charities and NGOs and civil rights organizations once heavily invested in advocating for same-sex marriage no longer had a raison d’etre, and as such lost a key justification for future funding.
Gluing the “T” to the LGB allowed for an easy transition into a new civil rights movement, using the same language and mantras of “born this way” and “accepting people as they are,” as well as a need to fight for “equal rights” on this basis.
Indeed, it was the Democrats and Democrat-adjacent organizations that were looking for a new way to galvanize their base and solicit funding, and Republicans were frankly the last to catch on…

Wow! Word is that they are revolting at the “View” and CNN, and want Farrah OUT! Much more to come. She tried to delete out her words, but we got them ALL. I don’t see how she lasts because this “stuff” shows what a phony she is. MUCH MORE TO COME! They won’t be able to take the Radical Left Heat, just as CNN wants to fire the “boss” because of the absolutely lovely Town Hall they just put on. One of their biggest ratings nights in years, & they are begging for mercy. CNN, let’s do another one?

Joe Biden REFUSES to give the 1,850 Boxes in Delaware, or the 4 Boxes that were discovered in CHINATOWN, and then sent to his lawyers in Boston to clean them up. Maybe that’s why all of that money from China has gone into his pockets, but I hope not? I went by the Presidential Records Act – Things done correctly!

Disney was going to build an underground airport and subways all over Central Florida that would have meant 500,000 new high paying jobs and added 2.3 trillion dollars to the Florida economy annually but DeSantis ruined everything.

We Floridians are sick and damn tired of being exploited by a Carnival for Perverts, whose corruption has infiltrated the very fabric of our State gov’t and slimy opportunists masquerading as “Florida First” leaders who will sell our future down the river at the first available opportunity.

Also, what dumbass thinks Florida’s geology would support such an endeavor?? My neighbor has a sinkhole forming as we speak at the back of her property, which is less than 10 feet from my fence line!!

In 2015, Obama commuted the sentence of a cocaine dealer who was serving a life sentence. Democrats promoted him as the reason we need criminal justice reform.

Update
Joe Biden and the ‘Impossible’ Task of Refilling America’s Oil ReservesSix months into admin’s ‘replenishment strategy,’ Biden has purchased zero reserve barrels
https://12ft.io/proxy?q=https%3A%2F%2Ffreebeacon.com%2Fbiden-administration%2Fjoe-biden-and-the-impossible-task-of-refilling-americas-oil-reserves%2F
…the stock held 638 million barrels of oil when Biden took office and now holds just 362 million…
…Oil prices sit at $72 a barrel, and the Biden administration hopes to purchase reserve oil at anywhere between $67 to $72 a barrel. Republicans tried to fill the reserve to its capacity in the spring of 2020—when a barrel of oil cost as low as $15—but Senate Democrats blocked the plan, attacking it as a “bailout for big oil.”…

FIRST ON THE DAILY SIGNAL—Fox News employees are allowed to use bathrooms that align with their gender identity, rather than their biological sex, and permitted to dress in alignment with their preferred gender. They must also be addressed by their preferred name and pronouns in the workplace.
These are just a few of the policies outlined in the company handbook, dated January 2021, a copy of which was shared with The Daily Signal. Fox also offers to help employees come up with a “Workplace Transition Plan” to ease their gender transition at work.
The revelations comes amid conservative consternation at Fox Digital’s use of activist language like “gender affirming care” in stories on its website, as well as the site’s consistent use of female pronouns for biological males like TikTok celebrity Dylan Mulvaney and swimmer Lia Thomas (formerly known as Will Thomas).
Fox also drew strong backlash for a June 2022 on-air segment praising a child’s gender transition as an “inspiration to others.” That segment briefly depicted California state Sen. Scott Weiner, a far-left Democrat who led the move to soften sex offender registry requirements for sodomy with minors, and highlighted the activist claim that a child might commit suicide if he or she is not permitted to transition.”
