It’s my pleasure to provide you with a glimpse into redneck summer festivities!
To begin with, the location of the picnic is never a problem! We can simply bring the festivities to you!

Now these guys will be catching, cleaning and grilling your “food”. Treat them nicely, they have no problem spitting on your food.

But they will using the most creative grills you’ve ever seen…

And what interesting “grub” it will be!

‘Course, there will be games…

Stay as long as you like, but make sure you drive safely home!!

Y’all come back now!!!

“The mystic ‘Spotted Lake’ is a sacred site changing colors and producing therapeutic waters near Osoyoos, BC, Canada…”

“The lake takes a normal appearance from fall to spring. A beautiful blue!

However, during the summer, most of the water evaporates and crater-like mineral deposits, about 25 feet on average, become visible at the bottom of the lake. Due to their different concentrations in magnesium sulfate and calcium/sodium phosphates, the mineral deposits get a distinct yellow, orange, green, or blue color.
Such a mystic place also has a spiritual value. ‘Spotted Lake’ is a sacred place of healing used by First Nations people for centuries. The lake actually contains 365 separate pools, each of which holds its own individual medicine and healing power. The 56-acre Spotted Lake site is considered of significant cultural and has spiritual importance to Okanagan First Nations.

The colorful spots found in The Spotted Lake in British Columbia are the result mineral deposits found in the lake. In the summer, the water evaporates and the minerals crystallize, forming the beautiful patterns on the lake’s surface.
The ‘Spotted Lake’ contains some of the highest concentrations of magnesium sulfate, calcium and sodium sulphates in the world, along with small amounts of silver and titanium. In 2001, Canada acquired ‘Spotted Lake’ for the benefit and use of the Okanagan Nation for $1 million. Doing so, Canada recognized the importance of this sacred site to the Okanagan First Nations. The ‘Spotted Lake’ is now protected from any developments and will remain in its natural and pristine state.”

at our old house, a canadian geese family adopted us and came over every time we were out. we fed them bread by hand and it was fun…till they got bigger and made a mess in the yard all the time…then the neighbors complained at the messes in their yards and the pond owner drove them off
