Did you ever wonder, like I have, how we came to separate and name the various generations? It started with the Boomers, the naming of the generations. Yes, the term Lost Generation came first, but the idea that demographic groupings of people born in a span of years should have a particular name really caught on with the post-WWII generation.
William Strauss and Neil Howe did not invent the idea of a generational schema, but they popularized it. In 1991, they published a book touting the idea that there were cyclical patterns in U.S. history based on generational differences. Their names for the generations, however, were different than those most commonly used today. Their names for the groups born in particular spans of years were:
1901–24: G.I.
1925–42: Silent
1943–60: Boomer
1961–81: 13er
1981– : Millennial
The generally accepted names today are as follows.
1883–1900: The Lost Generation
1901–28: The Greatest Generation (The G.I. Generation)
1929–45: The Silent Generation
1946–64: Baby Boomers
1965–80: Generation X (Gen X)
1981–96: Millennials (Generation Y)
1997–2012: Generation Z
2013– : Generation Alpha
But where do these names come from?
Lost Generation (1883–1900)
The name for the generation that fought in the First World War has a literary origin. The name is both literal and metaphorical. It is literal in sheer numbers of young men who died in the war but t is also metaphorical in that it represents a rootlessness and destruction of moral purpose as a result of the war. The term Lost Generation first appears in one of the epigraphs in Ernest Hemingway’s 1926 novel The Sun Also Rises. In the book, Hemingway attributed the phrase to Gertrude Stein in conversation. Four decades later, Hemingway described that conversation: “It was when we had come back from Canada and were living in the rue Notre-Dame-des-Champs and Miss Stein and I were still good friends that Miss Stein made the remark about the lost generation. She had some ignition trouble with the old Model T Ford she then drove and the young man who worked in the garage and had served in the last year of the war had not been adept, or perhaps had not broken the priority of other vehicles, in repairing Miss Stein’s Ford. Anyway he had not been sérieux and had been corrected severely by the patron of the garage after Miss Stein’s protest. The patron had said to him, “You are all a génération perdue.”
“That’s what you are. That’s what you all are,” Miss Stein said. “All of you young people who served in the war. You are a lost generation.”
Greatest Generation / G.I. Generation (1901–27)
The earliest use of Greatest Generation is by Democratic Congressman Hatton Sumners of Dallas, Texas in 1940, before the United States was even in the war. Sumners used the term in a series of speeches, or the same stump speech, given multiple times that year. Sumners uses the term in an aspirational, rather than a descriptive sense, arguing that this generation must rise from the devastation of the Great Depression to fight fascism and right the world.
The other name for this particular generation is more prosaic: the G.I. Generation. It simply acknowledges the vast number of men of that cohort who served in uniform during the war.
Silent Generation (1928–45)
Bracketed by the war generation and the boomers and often overlooked, the Silent Generation would seem to be aptly named. The name first appears in the Detroit Free Press of 1 November 1951, but this is in an excerpt from a Time magazine piece of 5 November. The Time piece reads:
“Youth today is waiting for the hand of fate to fall on its shoulders, meanwhile working fairly hard and saying almost nothing. The most startling fact about the younger generation is its silence. With some rare exceptions, youth is nowhere near the rostrum. By comparison with the Flaming Youth of their fathers & mothers, today’s younger generation is a still, small flame. It does not issue manifestoes, make speeches or carry posters. It has been called the “Silent Generation.” But what does the silence mean? What, if anything, does it hide? Or are youth’s elders merely hard of hearing?”
Baby Boomers (1945–64)
Generic use of baby boom is much older than any of these generational names. It’s an Americanism dating to at least the 1870s to mark any uptick in births. The application of the term to the then-expected increase in births following the Second World War dates, as one might expect, to 1945. There had been a short increase in the birth rate following the U.S. entry into the war, but on 4 February 1945 the U.S. Department of Commerce reported this mini-boom was over and to expect a larger one in the year to come: “The Commerce Department reported Saturday night that the Nation’s birth rate, which rose 30 per cent above prewar levels in the year after Pearl Harbor, now is declining and will stay that way until the end of hostilities precipitates another baby boom.”
Generation X (1965–80)
Generation X first appears in December 1952 issue of Holiday magazine, touting an upcoming photo-essay by photographer Robert Capa, although the term would not appear in the photo-essay itself:
“What, you may well ask, is Generation X? […] Our tag for what we believe to be the most important group of people in the world today—the boys and girls who are just turning 21. These are the youngsters who have seen and felt the agonies of the past two decades, often firsthand, who are trying to keep their balance in the swirling pressures of today, and who will have the biggest say in the course of history for the next 50 years.”
Millennials / Generation Y (1981–96)
More successful was Strauss and Howe’s naming of the Millennial generation. From their 1991 book: “At Burrville Elementary, 13ers in older grades found the uniforms slightly humiliating, but the younger kids hardly seemed to mind. These kids in green coats and yellow blouses are the vanguard of America’s MILLENNIAL GENERATION. Cute. Cheerful. Scout-like. Wanted. Not since the 1910s, when midlife Missionaries dressed child G.I.s in Boy Scout brown, have adults seen such advantage in making kids look alike and work together. Not since the early 1900s have older generations moved so quickly to assert greater adult dominion over the world of childhood—and to implant civic virtue in a new crop of youngsters.”
Millennials have also gone by the rather unimaginative Generation Y, as they are the cohort that follows the Gen Xers. Call them Generation Y, because Y comes after X, and maybe because they’re coming of age with the big questions laid out before them.
— Y can’t we go out in the sun?
— Y can’t the AIDS epidemic be stopped?
— Y is the environment in the state it is?
— Y is Canada in the state it is?
— Y can’t I get decent work?
Generation Z (1997–2012)
Of course, Generation Y led to ‘Generation Z,” which appears by 2010, likely due to a lack of a more creative term. Some refer to this generation as “iGen” since they have never known a world without the Internet. Martha Irvine of the Associated Press states, “they are the tech-savviest generation of all time… even toddlers can maneuver their way through YouTube and some first-graders are able to put together a PowerPoint presentation for class.” A teacher’s most complicated struggle with Generation Z is not necessarily how to relate lessons to them, but rather how to prepare these students for careers and jobs that don’t even exist yet.
Generation Alpha (2013– )
Having run out of letters in the Latin alphabet, we turn to Greek for the name of the next cohort. From the Australian newspaper Northern Star of 12 March 2011: “They are smart, cashed-up, career driven and are making their way to a place near you.”
It’s the newest addition to society’s demographic categories—Generation Alpha. Babies born from 2010 are part of this demographic, coming after the digital-native Generation Z and the want-want-want Generation Y. You may note that the same critiques and notes of despair are sounded whenever a new generation comes of age. The “problem with kids these days” has always been and presumably always will be.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, America First Legal (AFL) released the first production of records obtained from a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request in our lawsuit against the National Archives and Records Administration regarding Hunter Biden and his corrupt foreign business dealings and records from Joe Biden’s time as Vice President in the Obama Administration.
This is just the initial production and we anticipate obtaining more documents in the coming months ahead as the result of our litigation.
This initial set of documents includes evidence that:
Confirms that then-Vice President Biden used a personal email address for official government business;
Hunter Biden should have registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), and the Obama Administration had concerns about Hunter Biden’s appointment to Burisma;
That the Office of the Vice President (OVP) coordinated directly with Hunter Biden for media responses.

trying to pare down the bloated budget
entire article
The right-wing House Freedom Caucus on Friday released its list of prerequisites for cutting the federal budget in order for its members to support raising the debt ceiling.
Why it matters: With Republicans holding a 5-seat House majority and a new rule giving any member the power to trigger a motion to remove the House speaker, these hardliners have considerable leverage to influence the budget process.
Their votes on the debt ceiling could mean the difference between the U.S. continuing to be able to borrow money to pay off its debts and a potentially catastrophic default.
The details: In a statement released Friday, the caucus listed the conditions for its members to “consider voting to raise the debt ceiling.”
Ending the Biden administration’s $400 billion student loan forgiveness program.
Rescinding unspent COVID relief funds.
Clawing back funding for the IRS and climate change prevention in the Inflation Reduction Act.
Instituting greater work requirements on welfare programs.
Requiring congressional sign-off on all major federal regulations before they can go into effect.
Finding “every dollar spent by Democrats that can be reclaimed for the American taxpayer.”
The big picture: The statement calls for significant across-the-board cuts in funding to federal agencies by capping spending at 2022 levels for the next 10 years.
It’s geared towards an eventual goal of balancing the budget – though Freedom Caucus Chair Scott Perry (R-Pa.) acknowledged the proposals don’t quite reach the cuts needed to accomplish that.
“This is what we’re willing to do with what’s happening right now,” Perry said at a press conference on Friday, adding that the current goal is “changing the trajectory” of the budget process to enable further cuts.
What they’re saying: Perry, flanked by more than a dozen of his Freedom Caucus colleagues, said President Biden’s $6.8 trillion budget request is “not happening.”
Perry also expressed confidence that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) won’t try to bypass their leverage by working across the aisle: “Speaker McCarthy is not going to cut a deal with Democrats.”
“We’re not assuming that leadership is opposed to these thing,” he told reporters, “What is objectionable here? … this is all reasonable stuff.”

Revisiting the Dr. Scott Atlas article:
Dr. Scott Atlas says these are the 10 biggest falsehoods promoted by America’s public health leaders, elected and unelected officials, and academics – https://www.newsweek.com/america-covid-response-was-based-lies-opinion-1785177
1. SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus has a far higher fatality rate than the flu by several orders of magnitude.
2. Everyone is at significant risk to die from this virus.
3. No one has any immunological protection, because this virus is completely new.
4. Asymptomatic people are major drivers of the spread.
5. Locking down—closing schools and businesses, confining people to their homes, stopping non-COVID medical care, and eliminating travel—will stop or eliminate the virus.
6. Masks will protect everyone and stop the spread.
7. The virus is known to be naturally occurring, and claiming it originated in a lab is a conspiracy theory.
8. Teachers are at especially high risk.
9. COVID vaccines stop the spread of the infection.
10. Immune protection only comes from a vaccine.
Off the top of my head – here are 5 more big deadly lies:
11. Health authorities discouraged early treatment
12. Health authorities denied and prohibited the efficacy of inexpensive available safety proved medications – Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, Budesonide, Quercetin, Zinc, D3, Antibiotics, Selenium, and more.
13. Health agencies, hospitals, medical boards and pharmaceutical corporations devised and dictated bad protocols for treatment that cost lives – Remdesivir, Ventilators, Paxlovid (now known as the rebound drug) while denying the use of known treatment (see #12).
14. CV19 Case/Death numbers were manipulated.
15. CV19 Tests were flawed.

How this for a stinker of a deal for American taxpayers?
Joe Biden is proposing to hike taxes on Americans in his $6.8 trillion budget plan to pay for more free services to “help” foreigners who have crossed illegally into the U.S..
According to Breitbart News’s Neil Munro:
Biden’s budget asks for money to hire 500 extra border guards who catch migrants — and money to hire 460 more people to release the migrants so they can travel to jobs and housing.
The Democrats’ budget asks for a $4.7 billion “contingency fund” to operate the existing network of non-profit groups, shelters, training courses, travel routes, and healthcare checks which get low-wage migrants into the jobs that would otherwise go to better-paid Americans.
The budget requests extra money to convert illegal migrants into legal residents — but asks for less money to comply with the legal requirement of detaining illegal migrants before they reach U.S. jobs.
Biden’s budget also asks for $4 billion for the Department of State so it can keep funding the foreign groups that help migrants travel from around the world into Latin America and then up to the border.
The 960 new personnel would solely consist of Border Patrol agents to catch illegal border crossers, not to send them back but to hand them over to additional Homeland Security personnel to “process” on an industrial conveyor-belt scale, sending them on to their destinations of choice throughout the U.S., work permits in hand, supposedly to await their asylum hearings, since all asylum claims are treated as equally serious and exceptional. Private-sector enablers in the NGOs would also get a big chunk of the booty, a $4.7 billion sweetender — to keep the conveyor belt moving, coaching illegal aliens on what to tell the immigration judge, offering free (for illegal aliens) legal help, and alerting the same illegals to “free” state services they can mine courtesy of the U.S. taxpayer, effectively completing the journey for them so that they can continue to pay their debts to the Mexican cartels or work in sweatshops as child labor.
That kind of service costs money and Joe’s proposing to raise taxes to “pay for” it.
Never mind about what Americans get.
What’s not there in that Biden budget is money for a wall to keep the illegal border crossers out, or money for detention facilities for illegal crossers that immigration law requires. There also are no taxes on remittances to “pay for” some of these free “services.”
In short, that’s catch-and-release, which a federal judge struck down in Florida, but based on this proposed Biden budget, signals that Joe doesn’t plan to heed it.
In other words, Biden intends to intensify the immigration surge brought on by his open border policy through his monster budget, which is all about hiking taxes. Issues & Insights has an excellent editorial describing just how bad it is. Biden’s claims that his tax hikes will help cut the deficit are pure baloney.
And yes, while Biden claims that his proposal for $5.5 trillion in new taxes will “only” tax those making more than $400,000 year, (a well he’s already gone to several times in his two-year presidency), the facts show that Biden’s tax hikes hit Americans across the board, including those making less than $20,000 a year. Where’s his tax on remittances, given that U.S. workers making the low salaries will be asked to pay more, but illegal immigrants, who remit money home to buttress the governments they supposedly fled in terror from, will not?
All that, for a plethora of pork programs and a Santa sack full of goodies for his favored cronies, which include not just teachers’ unions, greenie billionaires, or campaign contributors, but the entire migrant-industrial complex conveyor belt, which has Mexico’s cartels at its apex and Joe Biden’s open border as its vehicle. Ted Cruz remarked yesterday that the cartels got a pay raise from Joe Biden’s open border, and he was right on the money.
His budget plan is nothing more than a new pay raise on top of that for them — and millions more illegal border crossers into the country, the institutionalization of the open border and the bankrolling of the huge conveyor belt that brings the illegals in.
Presumably, the House will never go for this tax-and-spend festival that does so much to institutionalize illegal immigration in this country, but one never knows. What should be known is that Joe wants to raise your taxes — to bring more illegals in.

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Pennsylvania is considering a bill that would require parents to receive vaccine information from a medical professional in order to submit an objection to school vaccine requirements.
Senate Bill 390 would mandate that parents submitting a religious or moral objection to vaccine requirements obtain certification from a person authorized to administer vaccines that the person has provided the parent with “scientifically accepted information” about the risks and benefits of vaccines. The state currently requires only a signed letter from parents stating their moral or religious objection to the vaccine.
The bill, if passed, would apply to all school years going forward that begin more than six months after the bill goes into effect.”
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the use of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for children as young as six months old in June 2022. Pennsylvania does not require schoolchildren to be vaccinated for COVID-19, but in 2021 the state failed to enact a bill that would have prevented the vaccine from being mandatory for them.
Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. Judith Schwank, the bill’s sponsor, did not respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s requests for comment.”

“The Bio-Security Cabal: A 20-Year Entrenchment”

BY PAULA JARDINE MARCH 7, 2023 HISTORY, POLICY, PUBLIC HEALTH
EXCERPT: “Bill Frist was the 2003-2007 US Senate majority leader who championed the USA’s biodefence projects and promoted the concept of a ‘Manhattan Project’ against a pandemic. He was also the politician who sponsored the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act (PREP) Act of December 2005 as soon as the World Health Organisation’s International Health Regulations had been amended to include a provision enabling the WHO to declare Public Health Emergencies of International Concern (PHEIC). Critically it was this Act that established indemnity for the manufacturers of therapeutics, vaccines or diagnostics released during the course of a public health emergency against any and all harm caused.
Also working to influence US national biosecurity policy was Dr Robert Kadlec. Working with him, and principally under the auspices of the Johns Hopkins Centre for Health Security (founded by Dr Tara O’Toole in 1998) were other participants in Operation Dark Winter, the code name for a senior-level situational simulation conducted on June 22-23, 2001, designed to wargame a covert and widespread smallpox bio-terrorist attack on the United States. These biosecurity hawks included O’Toole and Tom Inglesby of the Johns Hopkins Center for Civilian Biodefense Strategies (CCBS).
When O’Toole was nominated some years later to serve in the Department of Homeland Security in 2009, critics warned of her paranoia. Microbiologist Dr Richard Ebright, one of the scientists who, in May 2021, called for a full and unrestricted international forensic investigation into the origins of Covid-19, said it was a disastrous nomination:
“O’Toole supported every flawed decision and counterproductive policy on biodefense, biosafety, and biosecurity during the Bush Administration. [She] is as out of touch with reality, and as paranoiac, as former Vice President Cheney . . . It would be hard to think of a person less well suited for the position . . . She was the single most extreme person, either in or out of government, advocating for a massive biodefense expansion and relaxation of provisions for safety and security’. Dr Ebright concluded: ‘She makes Dr Strangelove look sane.’
It was Kadlec who formed the Bipartisan Commission on Biodefense in 2014 and began the planning of his Manhattan Project in earnest. Those involved with him in this commission included Tom Ridge, the first Homeland Security Secretary, Donna Shalala, a former Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary, Dr Margaret Hamburg, a former Food and Drug Administration (FDA) commissioner, Scooter Libby, formerly of Project for a New American Century (PNAC), William Karesh, the vice president of EcoHealth Alliance and an adviser to the WHO on reforms to the International Health Regulations (IHR), and Kenneth Wainstein, now the Under Secretary of Homeland Security for Intelligence and Analysis.”

The Real Threat of 15-Minute Cities
BY JOHN MAC GHLIONN MARCH 5, 2023 TECHNOLOGY
ENTIRE ARTICLE @ Brownstone: “The Guardian’s Oliver Wainwright recently discussed a new “international socialist conspiracy” that has taken the world by storm. “Fringe forces of the far left,” he noted, “are plotting to take away our freedom to be stuck in traffic jams, to crawl along clogged ring roads and trawl the streets in search of a parking spot.” The name of this “chilling global movement?” he asked, sarcastically and somewhat contemptuously: The “15-minute city.” Wainwright believes these cities are simply part of a “mundane planning theory.” He’s wrong.
A few days after Wainwright’s piece was published, three academics called 15-minute cities (FMCs) “the hottest conspiracy theory of 2023.” In a truly elitist manner, they poked fun at those who dared to question the motive behind FMCs.
One needn’t be a card-carrying QAnon member to have fears over these Trojan-like creations. Before going any further, it’s important to get our definitions in order. As the political scientist Kelly M. Greenhill has noted, not all conspiracy theories are wacky, and not all conspiracy theories are wrong. Take the Watergate conspiracy theory, for instance, or the fact that Edith Wilson made most of the executive decisions after her husband, President Woodrow Wilson, suffered a stroke. Quite often conspiracy theories turn out to be accurate.
Also known as smart cities, FMCs are places where everything imaginable, from your place of work to your favorite pizzeria, is accessible either by foot or bike (not by car, though; they will be verboten) in 15 minutes or less. What’s so bad about this?
On first inspection, very little. We are, after all, creatures of comfort. We live in a world where the mantra “Too Long, Didn’t Read (TL;DR)” now reigns supreme. We crave convenience; we crave expediency. However, expediency isn’t always a good thing; sometimes it’s downright dangerous. This is especially true when people, either consciously or otherwise, trade their freedom for ease of access to certain services. FMCs may make it easier for citizens to get from A to B, but these creations will also make it easier for those in power to spy on us, to harvest our data, and enable Big Brother to become Bigger Brother.
As I write this, FMCs are being actively championed by the World Economic Forum (WEF), the group behind the “Great Reset” and the idea of owning nothing, having absolutely no privacy, and being very happy. This fact alone should concern all readers. Want to discuss the WEF?
To many, I’m sure FMCs sound incredibly cool. But don’t be fooled by the name. FMCs are actually “smart cities.” As I have noted elsewhere, the word “smart” is really just a synonym for surveillance. These ultra-modern, tech-saturated monstrosities use hundreds of thousands of sensors to vacuum up copious amounts of personal data.
FMC policies are currently being rolled out in cities such as Barcelona, Bogotá, Melbourne, Paris, and the dystopian wasteland known as Portland. What do these cities have in common? Surveillance technology. Between now and 2040, cities right across the United States (and beyond) are predicted to spend trillions of dollars on the installation of additional cameras and biometric sensors. Sure, surveillance is bad now. But, as Randy Bachman famously hollered, you ain’t seen nothing yet.
By 2050, more than two-thirds of the world’s population will live in closely surveilled urban centers, like glorified rats in cramped cages. Contrary to popular belief, we no longer live in a panoptic society. When Jeremy Bentham, the English philosopher and social theorist, put forward the idea of this prison system, there was no internet. In truth, there weren’t even cars. We now live in a post-panoptic world—a digital panopticon, if you will—with huge social media platforms collecting personal user data before selling it to the highest bidder.
The companies running these platforms often work closely with government officials, identifying supposed sinners and punishing them in the swiftest of manners. As the writer Kylie Lynch has noted, these companies know absolutely everything about you; they have instant access to your browser history, your activity online, and now, rather worryingly, even your biometrics. Not surprisingly, these Big Tech companies will have a big impact on the FMCs of the future, by providing the underlying digital infrastructure needed to monitor us and ensure mass compliance.
FMC are wolves in sheep’s clothing. Don’t believe the countless stories telling you otherwise. It has become common for elitist, mainstream outlets to poke fun at those who dare to question the “we have your best interests at heart” narratives. We have been burned too many times before.”

“$Million a year Richard Baron, King of the Internal Medicine Board, creates straw man to justify removing doctors’ ability to practice — He made a dirty deal and now attempts to wiggle out of the spotlight by misrepresenting the situation in the 2/23/23 New England Journal of Medicine.”
Meryl Nass
EXCERPT: “Baron Munchausen was famous for his tall tales. Let’s examine Richard Baron’s tall tale and see if he can rightly be called Richard Baron Munchausen.
For some unknown reason (that most likely involved a transfer of funds) in the middle of 2021 the Federation of State Medical Boards (a nonprofit that advises state medical boards) followed by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Association of Pediatrics and the American Board of Family Practice, (all nonprofit membership organizations that accept funding from outside entities) decided to destroy the livelihoods of their doctor members who did not push COVID vaccines or who used early COVID treatments.
One would have thought this would cause a self-inflicted wound (fewer memberships) and incite controversy in an arena that was traditionally purely bureaucratic, and the polar opposite of controversial.
But these organizations not only did not back down, but have revved up their attacks on independent-thinking, honest doctors.”

LONDON — King Charles III may have indicated a desire to slim down the British monarchy, but two additional family members are now using their royal titles: Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Their titles were updated on the Royal Family website on Thursday, noting that “Prince Archie of Sussex” is sixth in line to the throne, and “Princess Lilibet of Sussex” is seventh. Previously, the children had been referred to on the site as “Master” and “Miss.”
Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, made public that they would be claiming the titles for their children when they announced that Lilibet, who turns 2 in June, was christened last week in California.
A spokesperson for the Sussexes said in an email Wednesday: “I can confirm that Princess Lilibet Diana was christened on Friday March 3 by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, the Rev. John Taylor.” Taylor is a bishop in the Episcopal Church.”

“COVID Origins Cover-Up Part II – the COVID Origins Act — Will this start WWIII?”

Tom Renz
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “You may have heard that the House and Senate both passed, by unanimous consent, the COVID Origins Act. This, along with the admission by Redfield that COVID was certainly the result of gain-of-function work carried out by EcoHealth Alliance, is one of the most critical developments in the fight against the fraud that is COVID since the fight began.
That said, the most critical part of the COVID Origins Act is related to the under-reported but equally important part of Redfield’s statement that this work was funded and supported by, not only Fauci, but the Department of Defense (DOD). This fact combined with the fact that the COVID Origins Act is not exactly what it appears is scary in that it may drive us even closer to World War III.
Let’s start with the COVID Origins Act. The entirety of the 2 page bill can be found here but there are a few key lines I want to discuss. The following is an excerpt from the bill:
(spacing edited) “SEC. 2. SENSE OF CONGRESS. It is the sense of Congress that—
(1) identifying the origin of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID–19) is critical for preventing a similar pandemic from occurring in the future;
(2) there is reason to believe the COVID–19 pandemic may have originated at the Wuhan Institute of Virology; and
(3) the Director of National Intelligence should declassify and make available to the public as much information as possible about the origin of COVID–19 so the United States and like-minded countries can—
(A) identify the origin of COVID–19 as expeditiously as possible, and
(B) use that information to take all appropriate measures to prevent a similar pandemic from occurring again.
SEC. 3. DECLASSIFICATION OF INFORMATION RELATED TO THE ORIGIN OF COVID–19.
Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director of National Intelligence shall—
(1) declassify any and all information relating to potential links between the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the origin of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID–19), including— … (excluded language)
(2) submit to Congress an unclassified report that contains—
(A) all of the information described under paragraph (1); and
(B) only such redactions as the Director determines necessary to protect sources and methods.”
At first glance this may seem innocuous or even encouraging but it is cleverly written and will likely have an unspoken but likely intended consequence people will not see. Before I go further, I do not believe Senator Hawley or many others in Congress that pushed this bill realized what I’m about to discuss, rather, I suspect this was written this way because legislative services (the bureaucrats that write these bills for Congress) was influenced by the DOD.
Section 2 is titled sense of Congress. This means that the plain language of the bill would indicate to a court that the entirety of this section is pretext or dicta. This language provides guidance for the purpose of the law but will not control or alter the plain language of the more substantive parts of the law found elsewhere in the bill. That is critical because Section 2 is where we see Congress saying they want to get to the bottom of the COVID origins. They say it but this bill won’t do it.
Section 3 is where the substantive language and specific instructions from Congress come into play. The core component of this language is Section 3 Part 1 where Congress specifies that the Director of National Intelligence, “declassify any and all information relating to potential links between the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the origin of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID–19)…” [emphasis added]. Note that there is nothing here about declassifying ALL information related to the origin of COVID, but rather, it specifies that ONLY info related to Wuhan be released. The language of the bill doubles down on this in Part 2(b) when it specifically allows for redaction of “sources and methods” as another out.
The practical impact of this bill will be to ensure Congress gets a report that places 100% of the blame for the creation of SARS-COV-2 on China while avoiding ANY discussion of the reality that our very own Department of Defense, CDC, & Anthony Fauci allowed/supported/funded it’s creation through EcoHealth Alliance. As an attorney and someone who spends a TON of time reading and researching legislation, I will tell you that it is nearly impossible to say this bill was written this way by accident. This was almost certainly done intentionally to shift blame away from our DOD and to pressure China.
If you need further evidence of this, ask yourself how many bills get through both chambers of Congress with unanimous consent at this point. None. Congresspeople were broken into two camps on this – those that the DOD told to support this and those that blindly supported it because they misunderstood what it does.
Understand that China and the CCP are certainly our enemies and may well have had a hand in this mess. That said the real reason for this bill is likely far more about pressuring the CCP to stay out of Taiwan & the Russia/Ukraine debacle and shifting blame away from our DOD/intel community than it is about getting to anything close to the truth. The CCP knows this and also knows that their credibility on a global scale is poor at best so they will have very limited capacity to counter this narrative in much of the world. Further, the CCP most likely will view this as a major escalation in the unspoken and unconventional ongoing warfare taking place between them and the western world which also may result in similar escalation from their side.
Ultimately the real question is whether this will push us closer to open warfare… WWIII. I don’t know. The DOD/intel community has not been acting in America’s best interest since the Obama Administration and was the real core of the swamp that took Trump out. What the endgame is for these people is hard to know for certain, but it certainly does not appear to be an America first agenda (the Great Reset anyone?). Hopefully the good members of Congress realize what is happening and address this before the military industrial complex drives us fully into WWIII.”

“Is Pharma Determining Which News is Accessible to the Public via Public Libraries and to Children in Public Schools? Is Pharma- funded “NewsGuard” biasing the news in your local public library or in your public-school library? If so, you – yep YOU – are hereby asked to check what is being biased.”
James Lyons-Weiler

EXCERPT: “Good morning, Popular Rationalists! Well, well. Newsguard has been outed if anyone is paying attention. In his testimony this week to the House Weaponization of the Federal Government Committee hearing, Twitter Files journalists Matt Taibbi dropped a bombshell that should shake the public awake. Should, as in you need to share this article across social media – and contact your local public library and public-school librarian and school board, as needed.
—————-
One problem with the Congressman’s point. The U.S. government is not the only funder of NewsGuard. Organic consumers looked into News Guard when it was created (see: New Thought Police ‘Newsguard’ Is Owned by Big Pharma – Organic Consumers)
There are two things that will infuriate the public when they learn of them:
— Newsguard is funded by Pharma, in a big way, via a pharma collective called Publicis Groupe.
— Newsguard may be policing which news outlets are accessible via our public libraries and by our children in public schools. (See evidence here):
—————-
ACTION ITEMS FOR POPULAR RATIONALISTS *THIS WEEK*
A. Write to your public library and ask them if they use Newsguard. Ask them if they would be so kind as to provide a list of news sites that are accessible without bias from your public library. Ask them also for a list of news sites that are NOT accessible from your public library without bias. Cc (Carbon copy) your Congressional Representatives.
Step 1. Write to your public library…..Step 2. Write to your public school librarian….
When you receive replies, feel free to send them to us at info@ipak-edu.org.
Here is a screenshot of the web.archive of NewGuard’s plan to monitor our libraries: “Your membership will help us keep NewsGuard free for the hundreds of libraries and schools that use NewsGuard to advance news literacy around the world. Interested in bringing NewsGuard to your library or school?”

suspects caught shoplifting nearly 700 cans of infant formula…
entire article
Georgia police arrested three suspects after they allegedly stole $26,000 worth of powdered baby formula from metro Atlanta supermarkets.
According to the Cartersville Police Department, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office issued an alert to law enforcement agencies in the area requesting officers keep their eyes peeled for a car suspected of being involved in a series of shoplifting incidents at Publix supermarkets in which cans of baby formula were taken.
Cartersville Police officers located the vehicle on Thursday in the parking lot at the city’s Publix on 300 Cherokee Place. Officers then waited for the suspects to leave the store.
Regulo Sanchez-Romero, Mateo Sanchez-Romero, and a 16-year-old juvenile were taken into custody after they exited the store carrying 12 cans of stolen powdered baby formula.
Officers searched the vehicle and discovered an additional 662 cans valued at $26,000, police said.
The two adults were charged with felony theft by shoplifting, felony theft by receiving and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Regulo Sanchez-Romero was also charged with driving while unlicensed and Mateo Sanchez-Romero was also charged with providing a false name and date of birth.
Both men gave officers Dallas, addresses, police said. They were both booked into the Bartow County Jail.
Investigators are working to determine if the suspects were also responsible for similar thefts in other jurisdictions.
This comes as baby formula has been difficult to find over the past year after FDA inspectors temporarily shut down the largest domestic formula factory in the U.S. because of bacterial contamination.
