Although this incident happened over 90 years ago, it still intrigues me. This was one of the first mysteries I ever read about in high school and it’s stuck with me. March 1 is the 91st anniversary of the event, so I am bringing the tale to you from the All That’s Interesting website. (I have added some pictures because some of the pictures in the story would not post for me.)
The Tragic Story Of The Lindbergh Baby Kidnapping
By Katie Serena
On May 12, 1932, the tiny body of one-year-old Charles Augustus Lindbergh Jr. was discovered in the woods outside of Trenton, New Jersey. The coroner’s report stated that the child had been dead for over two months. The child’s skull had a hole in it as well as several other fractures, and the coroner ruled the cause of death as a blow to the head. Several of the baby’s body parts were also missing.
The Lindbergh baby, the son of Spirit of St. Louis pilot Charles Lindbergh Sr., had been missing for roughly three months after being kidnapped from his crib at the Lindbergh home.
The child had been put to bed by the nurse at 7:30 PM. Two hours later, Lindbergh Sr. heard a noise coming from that he assumed to be a wooden crate, snapping in the kitchen. At 10:00 PM, the nurse discovered that the child’s crib was empty.
After discovering that the child was not with the nurse, or with his mother, Lindbergh Sr. discovered a ransom note on the windowsill and a broken ladder outside the window. After reading the note, Lindbergh Sr. fruitlessly searched the house and the grounds before calling the police.
For three months, the Lindbergh family, along with the FBI, searched for the child, even fulfilling an enormous ransom request and interviewing countless suspects and witnesses.
In the end, the official culprit named was Richard Hauptmann, an immigrant from Germany who had a criminal record back in his homeland. Police discovered Hauptmann in possession of $14,000 of the original $50,000 used to pay the ransom after tracking him through one of the $10 bills he had spent at a local gas station.
Hauptmann was arrested and charged with capital murder of the Lindbergh baby, a charge that allowed the death penalty as a possible option. The trial was dubbed the “Trial of the Century,” with one reporter even claiming it was the “biggest story since the Resurrection.”

As big as the trial was, the jury was surprisingly quick to return a guilty verdict. He was immediately sentenced to death and his two requests for appeal were both denied. On April 3, 1936, four years after the kidnapping, Richard Hauptmann was executed via electric chair.
The Official Investigation Of The Lindbergh Baby Kidnapping
Though the case seemed open and shut on paper, the investigation was far from. Between the media frenzy, the mysterious ransom letters, and the numerous side investigations happening, it’s a miracle anyone was convicted.
When the Lindbergh baby kidnapping was first reported, hundreds of loyal Lindbergh fans and concerned citizens descended upon the Lindbergh estate. While the media attention helped to boost the case and help spread the word about the missing toddler, the high levels of traffic on the estate effectively destroyed any footprint evidence that might have been found outside the home.
/diagram-of-lindbergh-kidnapping-scene-515168038-5c1d4de046e0fb00010db520.jpg)
It also encouraged hundreds of false reports of sightings and information. Military officials and investigators all offered their services, claiming to have expertise in kidnappings and law enforcement. However, only one of them truly did.
Herbert Norman Schwarzkopf, superintendent of the New Jersey State Police Department, along with Lindbergh, theorized that the Lindbergh kidnapping was part of an organized crime ring rather than a single perpetrator seeking the ransom money. Following that lead, they reached out to mobsters, both in and out of prison, hoping one of them would have information on the Lindbergh baby.
Al Capone himself even reached out to Lindbergh, offering his services in exchange for an early prison release, though he was quickly denied. Similarly, it was decided that mobsters were likely to be less than helpful when it came to offering up information for free.
Due to the media circus and the high profile of Lindbergh, President Herbert Hoover was notified of the kidnapping the morning after it happened. Though kidnappings were usually dealt with among local authorities, Hoover assigned the entire Bureau of Investigation (not yet Federal) to the case and authorized them to work with the New Jersey police.
As a reward for information pertaining to Charles Lindbergh Jr.’s case, the police department offered up $25,000. In addition, the Lindbergh family offered another $50,000 of their own.

The Unofficial Investigation
While the New Jersey Police were investigating alongside the Lindbergh family, a retired New York school teacher was also taking an interest in the Lindbergh baby case.
John F. Condon, who was at the time a well-known personality in the Bronx, wrote a letter to a local newspaper offering a reward of $1,000 if the kidnapper would return “Little Lindy” to a Catholic priest. Surprisingly, Condon received a letter back from people claiming to be the kidnappers, asking Condon to be their intermediary between them and Lindbergh.
Lindbergh, desperate to find his son, agreed, allowing Condon to fulfill the letters request. Condon placed a classified ad in another newspaper and arranged a meeting with one of the kidnappers to take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx.
The meeting did indeed take place, though under cover of darkness, so the culprit’s face was never clearly seen. However, the man said his name was John and claimed he was part of an escaped Scandinavian gang. He claimed to have the toddler in his possession in a boat off the coast and would return it for the ransom. When Condon doubted the man’s story, the man promised to return the baby’s pajamas.
Indeed, a few weeks later, Condon received a toddler’s sleeping suit in the mail. Lindbergh confirmed that the pajamas were his sons and asked Condon to continue communicating with the kidnappers and fulfilling their requests.
The Ransom For The Lindbergh Baby

Over the course of the Lindbergh kidnapping investigation, the Lindberghs and Condon received a total of seven ransom letters. The first was found by Charles in his son’s room immediately after discovering the boy was gone. It outlined the Lindbergh baby kidnapping and asked for $50,000 to be delivered to a yet-undisclosed location in small bills.
The first note was signed with a “signature,” a hand-drawn symbol comprised of three circles and three punched out holes. The second and third notes, delivered to the Lindbergh home and local investigators, carried the same symbols. The rest of the notes were delivered to Condon and did not carry the notes, though their authenticity was confirmed.
After the delivery of the seventh note, the Lindberghs and the police authorized Condon to orchestrate a drop off of the funds. The ransom money was comprised of gold certificates, chosen because they were about to be withdrawn from circulation, placed inside a handmade box, specifically designed so that it would be easy to recognize in the future. The bills were not marked, but each bill’s serial number was recorded so it could be tracked in the future.
Condon met with “John” on April 2, 1932, to hand over the money. He was told at the meeting that Charles Lindbergh Jr. was in the custody of two innocent women but provided no further information.

Having no leads besides “Cemetery John,” the police began tracking the serial numbers of the ransom bills.
A pamphlet was distributed to businesses in New York containing the serial numbers and providing information for what to do if they were found. Some of the bills turned up, though most went unseen. Most of the bills that appeared showed up randomly and in scattered locations such as Chicago and Minneapolis, though the people who had used them were never located.
A break in the case came on the day that the gold certificates, which made up a large sum of the ransom, were ordered to be turned in for other bills. A New York man brought $2,980 into a Manhattan bank, hoping to exchange them. It was only after he left the bank that it was discovered that the serial numbers matched those of the ransom bills.

Over a period of 30 months, police noticed that many of the bills had started popping up, specifically in the upper east side of Manhattan. Even more specifically, they were being spent along the Lexington Avenue subway route. After a local gas station called and said they had one of the ransom bills in their possession, police were led to Richard Hauptmann.
Other Suspects

Though Hauptmann is considered the official kidnapper of Charles Lindbergh Jr., that hasn’t stopped conspiracy theorists from coming up with their own version of what actually happened during the Lindbergh kidnapping.
Defenders of Hauptmann’s are quick to point out that his fingerprints were never found on the ladder or any of the ransom notes. They also attest to the fact that the crime scene was a mess from the start and that any evidence available was quickly compromised by the media circus it became.
Some experts — both self-proclaimed and legitimate — have theorized that Hauptmann was a scapegoat and that Lindbergh knew who the real kidnapper was but was either in on it or too afraid to say anything.
In fact, one of the most popular, and some might say substantiated claims is that the kidnapping was perpetrated by Charles Lindbergh himself. Some say that he accidentally killed his son while attempting a practical joke and staged the kidnapping to cover up his crimes, pointing the finger at Hauptmann to cover his own deeds.
Some believe that Lindbergh orchestrated the kidnapping as a publicity stunt and that after the hired kidnappers didn’t get whatever it was Lindbergh had promised them, the stunt went horribly wrong.
Lindbergh, his family, and the New Jersey police have argued against the theories that he was responsible for the kidnapping, insisting that everything they knew about the case suggested it had been legitimate and that the toddler’s death was simply the result of the kidnapper snapping under pressure.
Whatever the case, though it is closed, the Lindbergh baby kidnapping has become one of the most controversial and conspiratorial cases to ever be discussed by the American public.
Outside of pop culture and media, the case broke ground when it pushed Congress to pass the Federal Kidnapping Act, which made transporting a kidnapping victim across state lines a federal offense. The law is commonly referred to as the “Lindbergh Law.”

I grow a combination of Vinca and Torenia in my front bed. They come up from seed year after year and all I have to do is transplant/space them out, fertilize and mulch.
Torenia looks like a combination between a small pansy – and a snapdragon – and the colors complement the Vinca.

american taxpayers pay for EVERYTHING
FTA
American taxpayers across a number of towns and cities are being charged to the tune of more than $66 million, often passed through a group linked to billionaire George Soros, to help illegal aliens fight their deportations from the United States.
The investigation conducted by the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) reveals the extent to which taxpayers across about 50 towns, cities, and counties are footing the bill to keep illegal aliens in their communities.
Specifically, the Vera Institute of Justice has hugely expanded its contracts with cities and counties that work to defend illegal aliens fighting deportation using taxpayer funds.
The investigation details:
Vera uses a simple, straightforward strategy. It targets liberal cities and counties, lobbying them to establish funds to pay for lawyers to represent foreigners in deportation proceedings. Interested localities are encouraged by Vera to join its SAFE (Safety and Fairness for Everyone) Network. This is an association of city and county governments across the country that spend public funds on lawyers to represent non-citizens contesting their deportation orders. [Emphasis added]
Vera entices local governments by offering matching grants to a portion of the costs associated with the first year of a deportation defense fund. For example, a city may decide to join the SAFE Network and accept a $100,000 donation from Vera, but city officials must fork over $100,000 of taxpayer money in order to receive that grant. Accordingly, for the initial year, the participating city will effectively double the funds available to it. (In our hypothetical, $100,000 becomes $200,000 through Vera’s matching grant). [Emphasis added]
The Vera Institute of Justice not only has ties to Soros’s Open Society Foundation but also major corporate backers like the Tides Foundation, the Rockefeller Family Fund, and the Carnegie Corporation of New York.
According to IRLI investigators, “cash-strapped American families are laying out roughly $66,145,000 for lawyers to try and keep illegal aliens, foreign criminals, and other immigration violators” through such contracts like those sought after by the Vera Institute of Justice. The investigation states:
… facing staggering budgetary shortfalls, states, cities and towns across America have increasingly reduced expenditures on essential services such as police protection and public transportation. Nevertheless, the number of jurisdictions establishing deportation defense funds continues to grow. And the cost to U.S. taxpayers is staggering.
What’s worse, is the longer those immigration violators remain in America, the more they tend to cost us – placing a fiscal burden on public schools, the criminal justice system, and our transportation infrastructure. [Emphasis added]
…
So, what’s the end game? Advocates for illegal aliens and other immigration lawbreakers know that even when lawyers can’t win a case in Immigration Court, they can often delay the proceedings. And the longer a foreign national tends to remain in the United States, the lower the likelihood that he/she will ultimately be removed from the United States. The fact is that our system rewards people for breaking our immigration laws – and the longer they get away with breaking the law, the greater the reward. [Emphasis added]

it’s a shame the mother cannot file criminal negligence charges against biden, mayorkas and others…
FTA
House Judiciary Committee Republicans have launched a probe into the alleged murder-rape of a young autistic woman by a member of the MS-13 gang who was arrested at the US-Mexico border as an unaccompanied minor. Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH) asked Biden’s Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra in letters sent late Monday to explain how a known gangbanger from El Salvador was released from custody by both departments and permitted to live in the United States.
“The Biden Administration’s open-border policies have created vulnerabilities that criminal aliens and gang members exploit to the detriment of American citizens,” Jordan and Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA), chairman of an immigration subcommittee, wrote in a letter to Becerra. “Pursuant to the Rules of the House of Representatives, the Committee on the Judiciary is authorized to conduct oversight of federal immigration policy and procedures.”
The investigation was launched after pleas from the mother of the victim, Tammy Nobles, who wants answers as to how her daughter Kayla Hamilton, 20, became a victim of the known criminal that managed to slip through the immigration system and was able to live in Aberdeen, Maryland, before the slaying of Hamilton in her own bedroom.

“Hungarian MPs lack enthusiasm for Sweden and Finland NATO bids, Orbán warns — The Hungarian parliament is expected to vote on the matter in late March”
March 01, 2023

editor: REMIX NEWS author: THOMAS BROOKE
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “The Hungarian parliament will begin to debate Sweden and Finland’s NATO membership bids on Wednesday; however, there are “serious discussions” to be had regarding the countries’ criticism of Hungarian democracy before ratifying their accession to the defense alliance, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has said.
Some in Europe have accused Hungary of dragging its feet on approving the applications made by Stockholm and Helsinki in May last year — only Hungary and Turkey have yet to ratify the NATO accession applications. And while Orbán says his administration supports their NATO accession in principle, he has insisted on addressing some of the misinformation spread about Hungary by the respective governments before signing off on their applications.
“I’ve asked our parliamentary group to support Sweden and Finland’s NATO membership, and this is why the government has submitted this proposal to parliament, asking MPs to vote for it. But, between you and me, MPs aren’t very enthusiastic,” the Hungarian prime minister said in an interview with Kossuth Radio’s “Good Morning Hungary” program last Friday.
He revealed there is a strong counter-argument against the membership bids by some within his party. “They’re spreading blatant lies about Hungary, about the rule of law in Hungary, about democracy, about life here; how, the argument goes, can anyone want to be our ally in a military system while they’re shamelessly spreading lies about Hungary?”
“If they expect us to be fair to them, then they should also be fair to Hungary,” Orbán added. Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced on Monday a Hungarian delegation would visit both Helsinki and Stockholm as part of the parliamentary ratification process “to dispel their concerns about unfounded lies about the state of Hungary’s democracy.”
“In recent years, lies and made-up news about Hungary have been spread by government officials in Sweden, quite regularly,” Szijjártó told Swedish broadcaster SVT. “To deal with legitimate concerns about this, we have decided to send a delegation to both parliaments who will ask the speakers of the respective parliaments to put together a delegation to discuss this issue,” he added.
Some in the Swedish capital aren’t very pleased and have accused Hungary of “resorting to ransom again,” as reported by Politico’s Playbook. “Everyone is getting tired of the same blackmail tactics,” said one Swedish government official.
During a visit to Helsinki on Tuesday, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg urged both Turkey and Hungary to ratify the membership bids as soon as possible. “In a more dangerous world, we can no longer afford to treat defense as optional. It is a necessity,” he said in a speech to the Cooperation Committee of the Nordic Labour Movement (SAMAK).
Ahead of the parliamentary debate in the Hungarian parliament, President Katalin Novák posted on social media: “Some people think that this is an easily resolved, technical issue. It’s not like that. It is a complex decision with serious consequences, so it should be carefully considered. My position is clear: In the current situation, the NATO accession of Sweden and Finland is justified.”
The Hungarian parliament’s ratification process is estimated to take a few weeks with a vote on the matter expected in late March. Ankara, however, remains a major stumbling block, particularly for Sweden. Recent rows over the Swedish government’s decision to permit anti-Islam demonstrations outside the Turkish embassy in Stockholm led to strained diplomatic relations, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan suggested last month his administration may green-light Finland’s membership while rejecting Sweden’s.
He also called for Stockholm to stop harboring anti-Turkish government activists viewed by Ankara as terrorists.”

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2023/03/01/garland-gives-curious-explanation-about-why-mexican-cartels-cant-be-classified-as-terrorists-n2620104

GARLAND: “I want to point out, there are diplomatic concerns. We need the assistance of Mexico in this…”

AMLO is in bed with the cartels….
From 2019: “As horrific as the LeBaron massacre was, in Mexico it was just another Monday. Under AMLO, the cartel wars set new homicide records, exacting an average of 100 deaths a day and surpassing death tolls in America’s Mideast and Afghanistan wars at their worst years. And after AMLO launched a “hugs, not bullets” strategy to deal with his country’s violence, little was left of the protection his predecessors afforded American citizens in Chihuahua a decade ago.
The socialist president hopes to negotiate with the cartels, rather than fight them. When confronting the gangs, if at all, troops are ordered to tread lightly.
Also, federal forces assigned to fight the gangs are diminished in numbers. In 2009, after gangs murdered two members of the LeBron clan, Mexican authorities sent troops to defend their Chihuahua compound. But since AMLO launched his appeasement strategy, only 2700 army troops remained to patrol the vast mountainous deserts of Sonora and Chihuahua states, where the Monday massacre occurred.”
Another one: “López Obrador has been seeking to avoid conflict since 2019, when he ordered the release of Ovidio Guzmán, a son of imprisoned kingpin Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, to avoid bloodshed after Sinaloa gunmen paralyzed the northern city of Culiacán.”

URGENT: Stillbirths nearly doubled in Singapore, one of the world’s most mRNA vaccinated countries, in 2022 — Meanwhile, live births plunged. The changes began in March 2022, EXACTLY nine months after Singapore mass vaccinated people of childbearing age
Alex Berenson
EXCERPT: “For two years, mRNA Covid vaccine skeptics have raised questions about whether the shots might damage fertility. mRNA jabs alter menstrual cycles in some women. An Israeli study last June showed that sperm production falls after the Pfizer shot. Worse, births are falling fast in many mRNA countries. The trend predates the shots, but in some countries it accelerated nine months after the widespread rollout of the jabs to women of childbearing age.
Still, data have not supported the worst fear of mRNA skeptics – a marked rise in late-term deaths or stillborn babies. Until now.

“Hunter Biden Heads Into Georgia Forest In Search Of Cocaine Bear”

CELEBS · Feb 28, 2023 · BabylonBee.com
“GEORGIA — After hearing that a black bear did epic amounts of cocaine somewhere in the forests of Georgia, Hunter Biden quickly gathered his camping gear and started driving south.
“So you’re telling me there’s a bear in the forest with free cocaine?” Hunter asked his Secret Service detail. “I, um, have to go. Bye.”
Though agents tried to warn him about the danger of bears high on cocaine, Hunter could not be dissuaded. “Relax everyone, I’ve talked to plenty of bears,” assured Hunter. “At least, I think that’s what happened last time I went to Ukraine. Either I partied with bears, or I went to an art class where I painted a bear. It’s a little hazy, to be honest.”
Having packed his tent, Hunter reportedly did a quick bump to get his head straight and then immediately began driving toward Georgia. “When I took a job with the Secret Service, I never imagined I’d be camping in the National Forest looking for a cocaine bear, but here we are,” said Agent Sam Watson. “We were going to tell Hunter the bear was dead, but then he would just think that meant more cocaine for him. Oh, well. I’ve got my fishing pole.”
At publishing time, sources report that a highly inebriated Hunter Biden was attempting to perform an “enhanced interrogation” of a squirrel.”

Lori Lightfoot Blames Election Loss On ‘Tricksy Hobbitses’

“CHICAGO, IL — After suffering a humiliating defeat in Chicago’s mayoral election, Lori Lightfoot blamed her stunning loss on “those tricksy hobbitses.”
“They stole it from us!!” wailed Ms. Lightfoot. “Nasty, tricksy little hobbitses!!”
The campaign watched the disastrous results come in from a dimly lit sushi restaurant, where the enraged Ms. Lightfoot gorged herself on juicy-sweet raw fish. “Gone!! It’s gone, precious!!” cried Ms. Lightfoot to supporters. “Filthy, sneaky hobbitses!! Wicked, tricky, false! Curse them! CURSE THEM!!!”
Long considered the electoral frontrunner, Ms. Lightfoot saw her lead evaporate as supporters became steadily more concerned about being murdered. “I just don’t want to die,” said local woman Brandi Buckingham. “I can look past a lot with Lori Lightfoot – the eyes, how she walks on all fours, all of it. “Fauci Jealous As China Getting All The Credit For Creating COVID”

HEALTH · Feb 28, 2023 · BabylonBee.com
“WASHINGTON, D.C. — According to several unnamed sources, Dr. Anthony Fauci has grown increasingly irritated as China appears to be getting blamed for creating COVID-19 — an accomplishment for which Fauci believes he deserves at least partial credit.
“The Wuhan Virology Lab would be nothing without me! NOTHING, I say!” said an irate Fauci to several nearby witnesses. “I made them who they are. I made sure they received funding to weaponize coronaviruses. It was ME! Me alone! Not them! I killed MILLIONS! I brought regimes to their knees! Mountains crumbled before my terrible wrath! And then I saved the world from my own wrath! I am GOD! MWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!”
Sources say the Wendy’s drive-thru worker he was yelling at then asked him to leave at once.
Experts in virology and international espionage concur with Fauci’s assessment, saying that COVID gain-of-function research was Fauci’s project, funded at his direction in Wuhan after domestic labs said the work was too dangerous. Many are insisting Fauci be given some of the credit, or at least a marble statue of his likeness in front of the New York City morgue.

SPECIAL REPORTS: Accusations: US preparing False-Flag Chemical Weapons Attack — The idea is the US will launch a covert attack against civilian targets in Ukraine and Poland and then blame Russia in order to force NATO into war

EXCERPT: “Normally ideas like these requires an aluminum foil hat, but considering what we have seen these last few years, isn’t this worth investigating? Lots of accusations lately. I read a few over the weekend, but the story is blowing up now. I say it is worth keeping eyes on this.
Was the Ohio Train actually carrying chemical weapons that have been deemed illegal since WWI and internationally banned? Could that be the purpose for the bizarre unnecessary burn? Was that an attempt to destroy the evidence before the world connected the dots? Why were the chemical expert engineer testers taken out in a plane crash (5 of them)? Would they have found something and exposed it?
➜ This might be a good opportunity to explain to your normie friends that the term “False-Flag” does not mean imaginary or that it didn’t happen, it means the motivation and reasons behind it, and the perpetrators are hidden and concealed so that the public reaction to the event can be steered and controlled. It is called a “False-Flag” because the perpetrators carry their enemies “Flag” when they act. Sometimes they dress in enemy uniforms, etc.
You could reference the recent “False-Flag” revelation that US forces facilitated the NordStream pipeline destruction. They then tried to blame Russia for it.”

ANOTHER explosion in Ohio? what a coincidence!
entire article
Northeast Ohio was hit with its third major industrial disaster since the train derailment in East Palestine as several explosions preceded a large blaze at a warehouse in the Cleveland area. According to Cleveland.com:
More than 50 Cleveland firefighters responded Wednesday morning to a large blaze with multiple explosions in a warehouse in the city’s Clark-Fulton neighborhood. Crews were dispatched to a fire at the AJ Rose Manufacturing Co. in the 3100 block of West 38th Street at 9:05 a.m., Lt. Mike Norman said.
As firefighters finished extinguishing the flames at 10 a.m., smoke continued to billow out of the shattered windows. In a statement, the company said: “We are very grateful that no one was hurt in this incident. The safety of everyone in our facility is always a top priority.”
“We don’t know exactly what started the fire, but there were several explosions as we responded,” Norman said.
The company said fire caused some nitrogen tanks, used in the tooling process, and propane tanks, used for forklifts, to explode.
More than 20 employees were inside the warehouse when the fire started. Several employees suffered minor injuries but refused treatment, he added. The company is a supplier of precision products and assemblies for the automotive, truck and agricultural industries. AJ Rose is headquartered in Avon.

Today was errand day – and it was nice to get out and see the progress of Spring! Pollen season is here – the oaks and pines are blooming and cars are beginning to be dusted with pollen – and it’s all in the air.
The azaleas, dogwoods, spirea, pears, plums are blooming too. Temps are 60s and 80s. Today was cloudy and breezy, so it wasn’t oppressive. We are expecting rain tomorrow and Friday.
Went to the dentist, then out to lunch – which was such a treat – had my favorite dish (trout almandine with their special mushrooms, potatoes and green beans and a small piece of lemon cake for dessert!
Then to the library, Walmart and Publix. It was a nice break from house and yard work.
It was nice to get out and see people… I’ve been away and out of everything for so long. I’m still recovering from the 8 week stay at Sally’s when her Dad was injured and when I fell and hurt myself.
Though I got most of the yard work done, and the laundry done, the car is still not fully unloaded, the clothes not fully reorganized. I’ve got lots of sewing, mending, alterations, cleaning, dusting, etc. But we know all those things are a constant continual process.

I am adding a short daily prayer to the board. I would invite each of you, if you wish, to also add one or maybe two of your own liking. I do not want to stifle anyone but please limit yourself to one or two religious postings. here’s one I found that I liked.

This was very interesting.
I was reading a book about this but it of course sucked. LOL
One thing I did learn from reading the book reviews is that many think that lindbergh killed his son on accident and covered it up.
They think he dropped the child while going down a ladder out of the bedroom. He was a prankster it seems….

I read that too…we were discussing the Jon Benet (sp?) case and Filly thought her brother might have accidentally killed her and they similarly tried to cover it up…
we plan on an open on that case too sometime
