What Shall We Bake Today?

In our house, we hate to waste food, so when our bananas are past the good-to-eat stage, I freeze them to make banana bread at another time.  The morning I want to bake some banana bread, I take them out to thaw and drain slightly before adding to the other ingredients. This recipe is super easy and so delicious!

Banana Bread

Ingredients

2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup sugar

3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

3 medium ripe mashed bananas

1 egg

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

¾ cup milk

1 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350*.  Grease and flour 1 9 x 5 or 2 8 x4 loaf pans.  Place all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and beat on medium speed for ½ a minute, scraping the bottom and sides constantly.  Pour into pan(s).  Bake 55-65 minutes.  Cool slightly. Remove from pan and cool completely before slicing. Enjoy!

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday (Saturday AEDT) that he plans to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping but did not say when such a meeting might take place.

“I plan to meet Xi Jinping and believe this will be beneficial for our countries and for security in the world,” he told a news conference in Kyiv on the first anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

“Microsoft tests using ChatGPT to control robots — Robot arms, drones, and home assistants.”
    By Cindy Harper
    Posted 12:36 pm

ENTIRE ARTICLE @ ReclaimTheNet: “Microsoft’s next plan for chatbot ChatGPT is controlling robots.

“Our goal with this research is to see if ChatGPT can think beyond text, and reason about the physical world to help with robotics tasks,” Microsoft wrote. “We want to help people interact with robots more easily, without needing to learn complex programming languages or details about robotic systems.”

Designing a robot to perform a specific task requires advanced programming skills and running multiple tests. Microsoft is proposing doing away with the process and simply designing robots using plain English.

ChatGPT is already being used to operate drones and so using it to operate robots might not be a far-fetched idea, despite Microsoft’s AI accuracy failures in the Bing chat bot.”

“Store face scanner age estimator wants to get into collecting data for advertising — As expected.”
    By Christina Maas
    Posted 1:05 pm

ENTIRE ARTICLE @ ReclaimTheNet: “MyCheckr, a biometric age estimation device that wants to work its way into stores, has added an upgrade that can collect “anonymized” demographic information for targeted advertising. The upgraded device will be showcased at EuroShop 2023, in Dusseldorf, Germany, which begins next week.

MyCheckr is a device that performs age estimation and alerts staff to perform age verification for customers purchasing age-restricted goods like alcohol and tobacco. It can operate as a standalone device or be integrated with self-checkout kiosks.

The upgraded version can perform age and gender estimation automatically to provide retailers with the option of targeted ads depending on a customer’s demographic.

“Not only can it perform anonymous age estimation to aid the till operator, but we can now integrate that functionality into self-service checkouts for an autonomous transaction,” said ITL’s product manager Dr. Andrew O’Brien. “Plus, our new spoof detection will be included as standard on all devices to combat any fraud attempts — come and try it out yourself at the show.”

“Human 6G Antennas? ‘One of the Worst Ideas Ever,’ Critic Says — Authors of a new study say human beings wearing special copper-coiled bracelets could be used as part of an electromagnetic radiation antenna system to power 6G. Critics say the technology could be harmful to your health.”

    By Suzanne Burdick, Ph.D.

EXCERPT: “Human beings could be used as part of an electromagnetic radiation (EMR) antenna system by wearing a special copper-coiled bracelet, according to a team of researchers at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands. The researchers said they developed a low-cost way to “harvest” the radiofrequency (RF) radiation that gets “leaked” during visible light communication (VLC) — a technology they said is likely to be used in the “coming 6G networks.”

But some critics allege that using human beings as RF antennas for 6G is disrespectful to the human body and may have unknown health implications. “I am diametrically opposed to this type of work, especially given the paucity of medical research on using the human body as an RF antenna,” said Brian Hooker, Ph.D., P.E., Children’s Health Defense (CHD) chief scientific officer and professor of biology at Simpson University.

“This type of technology makes the human body an RF collector and ignores the health implications of EMR altogether,” Hooker told The Defender.
    —————-
‘One of the worst ideas ever’ — However, Bill Bathgate, an electrical engineer and certified building biology environmental consultant, said it wasn’t feasible to think that wearing the bracelets would not increase people’s exposure to RF. “That’s not possible,” he said. Commenting on the study, Bathgate said, “This is one of the worst ideas ever.” It uses the human body as a “telecommunications point in some kind of network grid” and could result in “health effects we can’t predict,” he said.

Bathgate criticized the researchers for using FCC and FDA regulations as a measure of health impacts. “These are the two of the most corrupt organizations I’ve ever met in this field of electrical engineering,” he said. “The FCC is not a health agency,” Bathgate said, “The FDA is — but it doesn’t know anything about RF.” Bathgate pointed out that in 2021, CHD sued the FCC successfully for being unable to explain why its current guidelines adequately protect against the harmful effects of exposure to RF radiation.

The U.S. Court of Appeals ruled the FCC failed to consider the non-cancer evidence regarding adverse health effects of wireless technology in its decision to not update its 1996 guidelines.

Bathgate said he would have liked to see the study authors provide evidence to support their claim that the leaked RF radiation from VLC does not cause health issues. “What measurements have been done to validate that statement?” he asked. “You have to be careful … people throw this stuff out there without even thinking about the potential ramifications of it,” he said, adding that prior research has indicated clear interactions between EMR exposure — including RF — and health problems.”

Take Action Now: Demand the Department of Veterans Affairs Acknowledge Service-Connected COVID-19 Vaccine Injuries!

“Please take 30 seconds to tell your lawmakers to ensure that our veterans receive the disability that they deserve and help protect our vaccine-injured veterans.

Members of the U.S. Armed Forces who have been injured by COVID-19 vaccines need your help!

We need to elicit the help of our representatives to stay on top of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA needs to acknowledge that the COVID-19 vaccines have caused harm to servicemembers and must commit to updating and adding criteria/medical scenarios to the Veterans Affairs Schedule for Rating Disabilities (VASRD) so they can promptly approve all service-connected vaccine-related injuries and disability claims.

TAKE ACTION: Tell Lawmakers to Demand the VA Recognize COVID Vaccine Injury

The VASRD is a federal regulation that serves as a guide for assessing the severity of disabilities resulting from all types of diseases and injuries sustained during or as a result of military service. A percentage rating is assigned based on the degree of severity, which determines the amount of monthly compensation a veteran receives.

Our military members deserve the best disability care and benefits for adverse events caused by these vaccines and need the VASRD updated to reflect those documented injuries. This matter is urgent as vaccine-injured active-duty members begin to transition out of the military and must be able to receive this critical disability rating.

We need you to support the members of our armed forces by contacting your elected officials to have them pressure the VA to address service-connected COVID-19 vaccine-related injuries and add associated medical scenarios to the VASRD. Please take action today!

  8. “A Major News Service Finally Covered the Epidemic of Sudden Deaths — This segment can red pill those committed to the narrative on the dangers of the COVID-19 vaccines.”

    A Midwestern Doctor

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Ed Dowd was recently interviewed by Tucker Carlson (see below) about his book “Cause Unknown,” which I previously reviewed on Christmas Eve. Since the time that article was written, public opinion has continued to turn against the COVID-19 vaccines and more and more people are recognizing there is a wave of sudden deaths sweeping through the country (presently around half of America believes the vaccines are causing a wave of sudden deaths).

In 2021, the first year the vaccines entered the market, more safety signals than I can count had emerged that provided evidence that the COVID-19 vaccines were dangerous and needed to be immediately pulled from the market. However, rather than this happening, Biden (illegally) mandated them upon America, and now in 2023, the vaccines are still being pushed upon the population.

This dynamic illustrates a situation I first heard coined by Scott Adams—“facts don’t matter, persuasion is everything.” The COVID-19 vaccines were marketed with the most aggressive propaganda campaign any of us had seen in our lifetime (ironically illustrated by Adams finally admitting he fell for it), and as a result, regardless of what we said, for many, facts indeed did not matter.

Since nothing seemed to be sufficient to sway the opinions of those hypnotized by the narrative, each of us began looking for other ways to do so. Steve Kirsch for example, since 2021 has relentlessly pursued collecting as much data as possible to prove from every single direction that the COVID-19 vaccines are dangerous and need to be banned.

I recently (and Jikkileaks for a while) have focused on compiling the evidence showing Pfizer committed fraud (e.g., in the clinical trials, its regulatory submissions, and its manufacturing process) since we believe fraud is something the legal system will actually pursue. Additionally, fraud provides a way for those who previously supported the vaccine program to flip sides (as they can blame their previous errors on being lied to rather than needing to admit their own deficits in critical thinking).

Ed Dowd has focused on utilizing a narrower set of evidence and tying it to one of the most persuasive arguments currently available for shifting the narrative. A statistically impossible spike in sudden deaths has occurred in the healthiest segment of the population and has happened in tandem with a spike in disability (this is why we are now having labor shortages).

This spike correlated to the mRNA vaccines being deployed, particularly when Biden mandated it upon our workforce. Large economic costs are ensuing from this wave of death and disability, and recognizing it is critical for protecting your investment portfolio.

I believe the message Dowd has put together is one of the best approaches available to us for red-pilling the public. This week, Ed Dowd was interviewed by Tucker Carlson and was able to broadcast that message to the general public in an extremely persuasive manner. As far as I know, this is the first time the sudden death subject has been broached by a major media company, and Tucker to his credit, provided the best platform possible for Dowd to present his case.

I would thus highly advise watching this segment and then sharing it with those you know who are still on the fence about the vaccines:

  9. What a coincidence – This Banana Bread recipe was featured in my hometown newspaper today!

    https://www.justapinch.com/print/bread/sweet-bread/marys-blue-ribbon-banana-bread.html

    Mary Louise @BlueRibbonBaking
    Marshfield, WI

I have been using this banana bread recipe for 30 years. It is the best banana bread I have ever tasted and everyone asks for it! I entered this in the County Fair back in the 1990s and won a Blue Ribbon. Actually I entered this a number of years in a row and it always took home the Blue Ribbon. It is a moist and flavorful bread. My secret is simple. Place overripe bananas on a plate in the refrigerator. Cover with plastic wrap or the banana flavor will permeate other foods. Let them turn black. It is the banana oil that gives the flavor. Try this recipe. I guarantee it will be your favorite!

    Blue Ribbon Recipe
Yum! This is an old-fashioned banana bread recipe that’s delicious. It’s a very basic recipe but so good. Reminds us of something our grandmother would make. This banana bread is moist and tender, slightly dense, and has a nice crust on the outside. This would be great for breakfast or a snack.
    — The Test Kitchen @kitchencrew

Ingredients For Mary’s Blue Ribbon Banana Bread
    2 c – all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 c butter, room temperature
    1 c – sugar
    2 – eggs
    1 1/2 c – ripe banana pulp, mashed
    1/4 c – sour cream
    1 tsp – vanilla
    1/2 c – chopped walnuts or pecans – optional

    Directions:
    Sift dry ingredients together.

In mixer cream butter and sugar well.
Add eggs and beat well until light and fluffy.
    Add vanilla.

Mix banana pulp with sour cream.
Add pulp alternately with dry ingredients to butter, sugar, and eggs mixture on slow speed.
    Scrape sides as needed.
DO NOT OVER BEAT. Beat only until combined. I then stir with a wooden spoon to make sure it is all combined.
Grease and flour a loaf pan, 9X5X3. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
Test with a cake tester. Do not test in the crack. Test off to the side. It should come out clean, but be careful not to over bake. You want a loaf of moist banana bread.

    1. Central Asian Shephers have their ears and tails cropped to protect them from being torn off by predators. It’s very rare to see an un-cropped CAS, as most people do not own them unless they are being worked as guardians. Whatever your stance on the matter, this is purely an explanation of why they are cropped, not whether or not it’s ethical.
