Apricots are delicious and widely popular fruits that belong to the genus Prunus (stone fruits).
The origin of the apricot is disputed and unsettled. It was known in Armenia during ancient times, and has been cultivated there for so long that it is often thought to have originated there.
Its scientific name Prunus armeniaca (Armenian plum) derives from that assumption.
Despite the great number of varieties of apricots that are grown in Armenia today (about 50), according to the Soviet botanist Nikolai Vavilov, its center of origin would be the Chinese region, where the domestication of the apricot would have taken place.
The apricot is now cultivated on every continent except Antarctica.
Apricots are cultivated throughout the temperate regions of the world, especially in the Mediterranean.
The average lifespan of an apricot tree is 15 to 20 years.
The apricot is a small tree, 26–39 feet tall, with a trunk up to 16 inches in diameter and a dense, spreading canopy.

The leaves are ovate, 2.0–3.5 inches long and 1.6–3.1 inches wide, with a rounded base, a pointed tip and a finely serrated margin.

The flowers are 0.8–1.8 inches in diameter, with five white to pinkish petals; they are produced singly or in pairs in early spring before the leaves.

The fruit is a drupe similar to a small peach, 0.6–1.0 inch diameter (larger in some modern cultivars), from yellow to orange, often tinged red on the side most exposed to the sun; its surface can be smooth or velvety with very short hairs. The flesh is usually firm and not very juicy. Its taste can range from sweet to tart.

The single seed is enclosed in a hard, stony shell, often called a “stone”, with a grainy, smooth texture except for three ridges running down one side.

In a 3.5 oz amount, raw apricots supply 48 calories and are composed of 11% carbohydrates, 1% protein, less than 1% fat and 86% water.

Apricots have many health benefits such as ability to treat indigestion, constipation, earaches, fevers, skin diseases, cancer and anemia. Furthermore, apricots have the ability to improve heart health, reduce cholesterol levels, prevent the deterioration of vision, help you to lose weight, treat respiratory conditions, boost bone strength, and maintain electrolyte balance in the body. It is also believed that apricot is good for skin care, especially for women. This is why you find it added in various cosmetics.
The impressive health benefits of apricots are due to the content of vitamins, including vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin E, and niacin in significant amounts, as well as a number of other essential vitamins in trace amounts (less than 5% of daily requirement), as well as their mineral content, which includes potassium, copper manganese, magnesium, and phosphorous. Apricots are also a very good source of dietary fiber, like most fruits.

Apricots are widely eaten fresh as a dessert fruit.
The fruit is also widely made into jam.
Apricots may also be used in desserts, in juices, and for flavoring.
Dried apricots are a type of traditional dried fruit. Dried apricots have an intense sweet-sour flavor. They are an excellent source of vitamin A, vitamin E, potassium, iron and are high in fiber. Dried apricots can be high in sulfur dioxide, which is commonly used in small quantities to prevent mold developing on the fruit. Many organic dried apricots are brown because they are sun-dried: sunlight oxidizes their flesh, which acts as a natural preservative.

Nutritionally, apricot seeds are similar to other nuts — they’re rich in healthful fats and provide some fiber and iron. Seeds or kernels of the apricot grown in central Asia and around the Mediterranean are so sweet that they’re sometimes substituted for almonds. The Italian liqueur amaretto, and amaretto biscotti, is flavored with extract of apricot seeds as well as almonds; plus, oil pressed from these cultivars has been used as cooking oil.

Apricot seeds contain a toxic chemical known as amygdalin, which is also referred to as laetrile. Some companies call this compound vitamin B17 in order to label and market the product as an essential substance. In the body, this chemical is converted to cyanide, which is poisonous and can cause serious harm. While your body can detoxify a small amount of cyanide, eating too many apricot seeds or kernels may be hazardous to your health.
During the 17th-century, apricot oil was used to treat tumors, ulcers, and swellings. In 2011, a systematic review deduced that claims that amygdalin and laetrile found in high concentration in apricots have a medicinal benefit to cancer patients were true.
In Europe, apricots were used as an aphrodisiac.

Egyptians usually dry apricots, add sweetener, and then use them to make a drink called amar al-dīn.
In the 17th century, English settlers brought the apricot to the English colonies in the New World. Most of modern American production of apricots comes from the seedlings carried to the west coast by Spanish missionaries. Almost all U.S. commercial production is in California, with some in Washington and Utah.
In 2016, the top five producers of apricots were Turkey, Iran, Uzbekistan, Algeria and Italy.
The apricot is a member of the rose family and is a close relative of almonds.
Apricot derives from praecocia (praecoquus) as “cooked or ripened beforehand” [in this case meaning early ripening], and from Greek πραικόκιον (praikókion) as “apricot”. The English name first appeared in the 16th century as abrecock from the Middle French aubercot or later abricot, from Catalan a(l)bercoc.
Seeds of the apricot have been discovered during archaelogic excavations of the Garni Temple and Shengavit settlement, having a history of 6,000 years.

“How DEI Is Supplanting Truth as the Mission of American Universities” — An obsession with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion threatens students, professors, and the very credibility of higher education in the U.S.
By John Sailer

January 9, 2023
EXCERPT: “One of the things The Free Press has been doing since its inception is documenting and exposing how many of our most important institutions—medicine, the media, the law—are increasingly being captured by an ideology that is hollowing out their core functions. Today, John Sailer, a fellow at the National Association of Scholars, tells the story of how that’s happening at American universities across the country.
You don’t have to have ever stepped foot on a college campus to care about the revelations in today’s piece. Because as we’ve seen again and again, what happens on campus doesn’t stay there. It’s just a preview of what’s coming for the rest of us. — BW”
——————–
In June 2020, Gordon Klein, a longtime accounting lecturer at UCLA, made the news after a student emailed him asking him to grade black students more leniently in the wake of the “unjust murders of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd.”
Klein’s response was blunt. It stated in part: ‘Thanks for your suggestion in your email below that I give black students special treatment, given the tragedy in Minnesota. Do you know the names of the classmates that are black? How can I identify them since we’ve been having online classes only? Are there any students that may be of mixed parentage, such as half black-half Asian? What do you suggest I do with respect to them? A full concession or just half?’
He went on: ‘Remember that MLK famously said that people should not be evaluated based on the “color of their skin.” Do you think that your request would run afoul of MLK’s admonition?
Thanks, G. Klein’
Klein’s response enraged students. They organized a petition to remove him that quickly gained nearly 20,000 signatures, resulting in the professor being placed on leave and banned from campus. But the story got national attention, and a counter-petition signed by more than 76,000 people demanded his reinstatement. In less than three weeks, Klein was allowed to return to the classroom.”
——————–
In a short time, DEI imperatives have spawned a growing bureaucracy that holds enormous power within universities. The ranks of DEI vice presidents, deans, and officers are ever-growing—Princeton has more than 70 administrators devoted to DEI; Ohio State has 132. They now take part in dictating things like hiring, promotion, tenure, and research funding.
More significantly, the concepts of DEI have become guiding principles in higher education, valued as equal to or even more important than the basic function of the university: the rigorous pursuit of truth. Summarizing its hiring practices, for example, UC Berkeley’s College of Engineering declared that “excellence in advancing equity and inclusion must be considered on par with excellence in research and teaching.” Likewise, in an article describing their “cultural change initiative,” several deans at Mount Sinai’s Icahn School of Medicine declared: “There is no priority in medical education that is more important than addressing and eliminating racism and bias.”

From General Flynn:
Short Thread:
1. In the coming months, among other serious problems (& there are many), we are going to learn the FISC has become a parallel Supreme Court but operates in almost total secrecy. In 1975, Church stated, “hiding evil is the trademark of a totalitarian government.”
2. “There is no more pernicious threat to a free society than a secret police…operating beyond the law…if these abuses had not been uncovered and had the agencies gone unchecked, we might well have seen a secret police develop in the United States. Once that begins…3. The Constitution itself is in very real danger.”
Church was right then and his words are exponentially more on point in 2023. Advances in technology, growth of a federal bureaucracy & deep seated corruption across the federal government has only expanded the government’s…
4. Ability to destroy American’s 4th Amendment rights. Now is the time to form another “Church-like” committee to enact serious reforms & either disband the agencies or demand full compliance & accountability from an increasingly rogue security state “shadow government.”
5. 🙏🏼 that our elected representatives have the moral fiber, integrity, & guts to call out & then do the right thing. Doing the right thing is really hard. America has sacrificed so much for so many, our fallen & our founders deserve the city on the hill to shine once again!

Really an excellent article, IMO…THE question: will the Rules pass???
“In McCarthy Negotiations, GOP Landed On ‘Most Significant Win For Conservatives In A Decade’
BY: EMILY JASHINSKY, JANUARY 09, 2023, 7 MIN READ
EXCERPT: “The real story of McCarthy’s winding road to the speakership is bigger than he is, bigger than the GOP, and bigger than the 118th Congress.”
—————–
It’s in this dismal context that Kevin McCarthy’s bid for the House speakership faltered over the course of four frenzied days last week. McCarthy finally secured the gavel late Friday by striking a deal with the House Freedom Caucus, or HFC. “It’s the most significant win for conservatives in a decade, possibly the biggest in a generation,” a senior congressional aide told The Federalist on Sunday. “The rules package, if adopted, will actually impact policy outcomes by forcing a transparent and open process.”
“Everything that Republicans and conservatives say they hate — giant, thousand-page spending bills negotiated by a handful of people with little input from anyone else, plum committee assignments reserved for insiders, and a closed off amendment process — is addressed here,” the aide added.
From John Boehner to Paul Ryan to McCarthy, House conservatives are gradually shocking Republican leadership into representing their own voters. When the GOP failed to win back a major margin in the House, members of the Freedom Caucus did the math and realized they could flex some muscle. Even before Election Day, McCarthy had courted the HFC, as we reported in October. He made friends of Reps. Jim Jordan and Marjorie Taylor Greene. He talked about reversing certain Pelosi-era power grabs.
Indeed, this is exactly what frustrated members such as Rep. Dan Crenshaw. From their perspective, HFC went into the speaker vote having already won. That’s actually true, but it’s also true they won even bigger as the week wore on. Those two points are not mutually exclusive, though it seemed like the baby might get thrown out with the bath water more than once.”
“While the political establishment preferred to focus on personalities and melodrama, the concessions HFC members managed to wring out of McCarthy are shockingly consequential. Without another speaker candidate waiting in the wings, serious negotiators like Rep. Chip Roy knew they had the upper hand and could push the GOP establishment much further than anyone imagined.
“They just achieved more in the last week than any other group of conservatives has in years,” the senior congressional aide said. “They knew the power of their vote and they held together until they negotiated an acceptable agreement.”
————
“………But in HFC’s case, they gambled and won. They realized McCarthy needed them more than they needed him, given the public’s exasperation with establishment leaders. Few minded the lively four-day demonstration of republican government outside the Beltway.”
————
“Those who fret that this veritable laundry list of demands will create chaos are correct. It probably will. McCarthy, thanks to the motion to vacate, will lead with the immediate threat of his ouster constantly looming. Government shutdowns will be on the table. Single-subject bills will have their drawbacks. But a dysfunctional House got us here, and there’s no functional way to leave dysfunction.”

I can’t get enough of that article, tbh….
“From 30,000 feet, a four-day delay in the speaker vote is hardly the outrage pundits framed it as. The rules package is mostly unobjectionable institutionalism. Sure, it’s remarkable HFC won these concessions, but only because party leadership in D.C. is so unaccustomed to losing. The press painted all of the HFC with the same broad brush and missed the real story: They out-negotiated leadership and changed the House in a serious way.”

“Republicans given big assignment: Defund National Public Radio — ‘For any editor to publish this incredibly misleading sack of lies is outrageous’

By Bob Unruh
Published January 9, 2023 at 10:15am
ENTIRE ARTICLE @ WND: “As the Republican Party establishes itself as the majority in the U.S. House, it is being given one assignment relating to the leftist media in America: defund National Public Radio. The call comes from David Marcus, a New York columnist and author of “Charade: The COVID Lies That Crushed A Nation,” in a commentary at Fox News.
And it’s over a “slanderous and frankly disgusting essay” NPR ran by the author of “Gender Queer,” which is a sexually explicit “graphic novel” that has been targeted for removal by parents who object to such offensive material on school-library shelves. Marcus explains the essay is by Maia Kobabe, and is a “woe-is-me tale about her book being taken off the shelves.”
It seems Kobabe left out a key fact. “What’s not mentioned? Either in the essay itself or its brief introduction? That would be why the book has been deemed unsuitable for kids. The answer is the multiple extremely graphic drawings of sex acts, including oral sex, that it contains which are never even mentioned,” Marcus pointedly noted. “For any editor to publish this incredibly misleading sack of lies is outrageous.”
The essay does note that parents object to the “sex drawings,” but the implication is that they are “simply anti-LGB&T bigots” instead of “adults legitimately concerned about what amounts to pornography being given to children,” Marcus wrote. “What is so telling in this absurd screed in which Kobabe compares her own book to ‘To Kill a Mockingbird,’ and ‘Of Mice and Men,’ is that she makes no defense for showing these images to young kids, none whatsoever,” Marcus wrote.
“But for NPR, to even discuss whether kids should be given sexually explicit material in school is homophobia, transphobia, anti-LGB&T or some such nonsense. At best this shows that they know there is no good argument for sexualizing our kids, at worst, well, I’ll leave that to your imagination,” Marcus said.
“For taxpayers to fund an NPR that is actively obfuscating the truth of this story is beyond the pale and must stop. It has long been clear that NPR is a pointless and redundant federally funded version of already extant private left wing media outlets. That was bad enough, that was reason enough to end it. But now, it is literally a threat to our children and must be defunded as soon as possible.”
He said, “The American people have had enough. No more tax dollars to promote porn for kids. Period.”

“Nation Devastated As Congress Resumes Functioning

POLITICS · Jan 8, 2023 · BabylonBee.com
“U.S. — Across the nation, Americans are coming to terms with the catastrophic news that Congress has resumed functioning.
“Tell me it’s not true,” said small business owner Larry Higgins, staring at the sky. “Oh Lord, what have we done to deserve this??”
During the recent, brief period of governmental collapse, Americans began to see a faint ray of hope. “If this shutdown grinds on for even a few months, can you imagine how well off the country would be?” local pastor Dean Benson thought wistfully. “With even just a few weeks of people not being actively robbed, pushed towards war, or having their freedom stripped, America might have a real chance. Too bad.”
For decades now, Americans have watched with resignation as against all odds, every single thing Congress has done has made the country worse. “You would think at some point, just by blind chance, Congress would accidentally do something helpful,” said Mr. Higgins. “Their streak of constant damage is really quite astounding, just from a statistical perspective. It would almost be awe-inspiring if they weren’t directly ruining people’s lives.”
At publishing time, Americans were holding out hope that a Congress that struggled so mightily to pick a guy to bang a gavel might also struggle to do anything else.”

“Coal Miner Feels Really Sorry For Congressmen Having To Do All This Hard Work Lately
POLITICS · Jan 7, 2023 · BabylonBee.com
“WELCH, WV — Local coal miner Don Billings has expressed deep sympathy for Congressmen having to work such long hours lately.
“Wow, four days in a row of sitting there eating takeout?” said Mr. Billings, his voice filled with compassion. “Boy, am I sorry to hear that.”
News of Congress’ brutal working conditions had reached Mr. Billings during a brief respite while a mine shaft was being repaired. “They came back to work in the evening after a four-hour dinner?” asked Mr. Billings in awe. “That is some kind of commitment. I sure do hope they get a nice long weekend after all that sitting around drinking.”
Across the nation, Congress saw an outpouring of support over the remarkable hours they were putting in. “Four straight days of actually being at the place they work, sitting there. What heroes,” said local telephone lineman Michael McGee. “I even heard they had trouble getting DoorDash to deliver, so a few had to send their aides to run across the street to pick up Chipotle. I really feel for them.”
At publishing time, the coal miners were deeply relieved to hear Congress had resumed destroying coal miners’ lives during their normal business hours.”

“After 15 Grueling House Speaker Votes, America’s Long National Nightmare Can Finally Begin

POLITICS · Jan 7, 2023 · BabylonBee.com
“WASHINGTON, D.C. — After a week of grueling votes for Speaker of the House — 15 in total — Kevin McCarthy was finally handed the people’s gavel and took his rightful place as Speaker. He lifted it up to the raucous applause of both Democrats and Republicans, signaling that the week of Congressional inactivity was over and the long national nightmare of taxing, spending, and corruption could finally begin.
“Finally, we will get down to the people’s business of stealing all their money for our pet projects, making backroom deals, and holding meaningless investigations where we yell and point angrily at people to get some sweet sound bytes for our reelections,” said McCarthy to the assembled warmongers, rapists, and half-dead geriatrics in the room. “Our long congressional nightmare is over, and the long national nightmare is finally here! Huzzah!”
Those in the crowd who were still sober enough to stand then stood and cheered.
Experts predict that business as usual will resume first thing Monday, as politicians give portentous speeches to empty rooms, have important meetings with weapons manufacturers, and attend coke orgies. “Americans are overwhelmingly pleased to be finally achieving a state of normalcy in Washington again,” said one pollster.
At publishing time, Congress had already authorized another $100 billion to Ukraine.”

a mother chose life for her baby even though she couldn’t care for it.
entire article
In December 2020, the fire department became the first in the state of Florida to unveil a Safe Haven Baby Box (SHBB), a program that allows a mother in crisis to “safely, securely, and anonymously surrender a newborn who cannot be cared for,” according to the announcement.
“Ocala’s SHBB has been in service for two years and is still the only operational device of its kind in the state,” the department added.
In a press conference that same day, SHBB founder Monica Kelsey applauded the parent who surrendered the baby, reports People.
“We know this baby will be so loved by an adoptive family, and we are so thrilled to be a part of protecting infants from abandonment,” she said.
According to the SHBB website, Kelsey founded the project after learning she was abandoned as an infant.
Ocala Mayor Kent Guinn also spoke at the conference, predicting a “bright future” for the “miracle baby.”
“I’m so happy to hear of this miracle baby,” Guinn said. “I knew when we did this in 2020, this day would come. We all did. We just didn’t know when. We’re glad it was there as a resource for the mother of this child. I’m sure there will be a bright future ahead for this precious child.”
Ocala Fire Rescue’s Baby Box — one of only 134 boxes across the United States — was installed at the department’s headquarters in 2020, according to WFLA.
The boxes have a side that opens to the outside of the building, allowing parents to place their infant in a temperature-controlled container that alerts firefighters to the baby’s presence 60 seconds after they’re placed inside.

“Shedding Innocence — Propaganda and censorship in the garden of good and evil”
Robert W Malone MD, MS
EXCERPT: “As we move through January 2023, and additional details about the lies our governments have told us are revealed daily, I keep getting questioned about how it feels to be vindicated. I wrote about this last year, at a time when the approved narrative appeared to be failing, and my deep ambivalence remains. To my surprise, governments, the World Health Organization (WHO), and various non-governmental organizations (WEF, BMGF etc.) have managed to keep the COVIDcrisis alive and weaponized to justify policies which do not advance public health objectives, but which they use to advance their own political and financial interests. Like tossing offal over the transom, “Never let a good crisis go to waste” seems to have provoked a shark feeding frenzy which humanity may require decades to recover from.
Assuming we ever do.
The apple of knowledge about the depths of what the US government, the Uniparty, the “Administrative state” will do has been well and truly bitten into now. None who are “awake” to the damage done (to individuals, families, and communities) in the name of public health will ever be able to return to what (in retrospect) seems like the Eden of our prior innocence.
Now we are finally seeing the patient council of Augustine of Hippo come to pass — ‘The truth is like a lion; you don’t have to defend it. Let it loose; it will defend itself.’ Like so many others, I had naively assumed that this process would require months, not years.”

wow! Hamlin back in Buffalo to continue recovery!

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Doctors who treated Damar Hamlin said the Bills safety was back in Buffalo on Monday, an uplifting sign of the remarkable progress he has made a week after going into cardiac arrest and having to be resuscitated on the field during a game in Cincinnati.
Hamlin was discharged from the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in the morning and flown to Buffalo, where Dr. William Knight said he was “doing well.”

Hamlin’s return comes a day after he cheered on the Bills from his hospital bed during their regular season-ending 35-23 win over the New England Patriots. The game proved to be a cathartic outpouring of support for the Bills and Hamlin.
The Bills wore No. 3 Hamlin patches on their jerseys and honored their teammate by raising three fingers in the closing minutes, while tight end Dawson Knox celebrated his touchdown by forming his hands into the shape of a heart.
Hamlin responded on his Twitter account with a heart message directed toward Knox.
Fans joined in, with many holding up red heart and No. 3 signs.
The 24-year-old Hamlin has made significant progress in his recovery since spending his first two days at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center under sedation and breathing through a ventilator.
He was awakened on Wednesday night and was eventually able to grip people’s hands. By Friday, Hamlin was able to breathe on his own and even addressed the team by videoconference, in which he told the Bills, “Love you boys.”
The latest update from doctors came on Saturday, when they described Hamlin’s neurological function as “excellent,” though he remained listed in critical condition.
Later that day, Hamlin tweeted: “Putting love into the world comes back 3xs as much… thankful for everyone who has reached out and prayed. This will make me stronger on the road to recovery, keep praying for me!”
The NFL will showed support for Hamlin during all Week 18 games by including a pregame moment of support, painting Hamlin’s No. 3 on the 30-yard line and pregame shirts with “Love for Damar 3.”
Hamlin’s heart stopped on Monday night after making what appeared to be a routine tackle in the first quarter against the Bengals. The game was initially suspended before officially being canceled later in the week.

“Exclusive: 6X higher death rate post-vax in Australia nursing home! I invite every fact checker in the world to fact check me on this one. I have the name of the facility. It’s critically important that this be validated so that the world is informed of the risk.”

Steve Kirsch

EXCERPT: “After I posted a story of a large geriatric practice which experienced a 3X increase in all-cause mortality post-vaccine (all of the excess deaths were attributed to the vaccine), I received an even more extraordinary story of a nursing home in Australia where the death rate post-vaccine skyrocketed by 6X after the vaccines rolled out (from 3 to 4 per year to at least 24 over a 12 month period) which killed 33% of the residents of the facility:

I am in contact with the poster and have the name of the nursing home where this took place. I’m inviting all of the world’s fact checkers to verify this story. The fact checker who does this will be famous! Not only will they verify this facility, but I think from my survey I’ll have many more examples to fact check to show this is the norm and not a fluke.”

“On MSNBC and “Authoritarianism” — A brief response to the latest hit piece

Matt Taibbi
(From top left: Watts, Wallace, Vance, Twitty, Rosenberg, Rangappa, Rhodes, Painter, McCaffrey, Kirschner, Kaytal, Haq, Figliuzzi, Brennan, Bash, McQuade”
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “MSNBC opinion columnist Zeesham Aleem just penned the latest in what’s become a parade of hit pieces from mainstream outlets directed at me and other independent journalists. Even by the low standards of the genre, “How the populist left has become vulnerable to the populist right” is a humorous standout. It argues that after I spent a month detailing how the FBI, DHS, DOD, CIA and other agencies built a system for mass delivery of censorship requests to firms like Twitter and Facebook, I helped fuel a subculture that “could funnel people from leftism to authoritarianism.”
Here’s a brief list of talking heads at the network now claiming people like me, Glenn Greenwald, Tulsi Gabbard and Jimmy Dore are the ones guilty of funneling audiences to “authoritarianism”:
John Brennan, former Director of the CIA, now senior intelligence analyst at MSNBC
Frank Figliuzzi, formeer Assistant Director of Counterintelligence at the FBI
Asha Rangappa, former Special Agent for the FBI, specializing in counterintelligence
Nicolle Wallace, former Communications Director for George W. Bush
Jeremy Bash, former Chief of Staff of the CIA
Clint Watts, former FBI counterintelligence agent and MSNBC national security analyst
Chuck Rosenberg, former Acting DEA administrator and senior FBI official
Nayyera Haq, former Senior Director of the White House
Richard Painter, former Chief Ethics lawyer in the George W. Bush White House
Neal Kaytal, former Acting Solicitor General of the United States
Ben Rhodes, former National Security Advisor to Barack Obama
Barry McCaffrey, former U.S. Army General and Drug Czar, security analyst for NBC and MSNBC
Stephen Twitty, former Lieutenant General of the U.S. Army
Joyce Vance, former U.S. Attorney
Barbara McQuade, former U.S. Attorney
Glenn Kirschner, former Assistant U.S. Attorney
The right word to describe this brand of gall escapes me. The nerve? The bottle? The damned cheek? Both MSNBC and similarly foundering competitor CNN (which lost 19% and 27% of their audiences, respectively, last year) have been open for years now in their desire to serve as final revolving door destinations for the shadiest conceivable military and security officials. While MSNBC went after Brennan, Figliuzzi, and Bash, CNN scooped up James Clapper, Michael Hayden, and Steven Hall, among many others. The lists are so long, only an exceptional mind could keep track of them all. How many spooks fled to the Peacock?
Marky, Ricky, Danny, Terry, Mikey, Davey, Timmy, Tommy, Joey, Ronnie, Johnny, and Brian. And Brennan. John Brennan. MSNBC, you’re a joke.”
