The other afternoon, I saw a stink bug in the house and of course, I flushed it down the toilet. (The process is a quick one: locating said bug, nabbing it quickly in a napkin and dashing to flush it before the smell permeates everything.) I found an article about stink bugs written by Erin McCarthy in 2019 and I as I read it, I couldn’t help but notice their similarity to Congress. Stay with me here…
In her article on Mental Floss, she noted that The New Yorker called marmorated stink bugs “the most destructive, the most annoying, and possibly the ugliest” of all the stink bugs, an invasive species that’s taking North America by storm … and not in a good way. Here are her 12 facts to know about these stink bugs (and Congress).
IT MADE ITS WESTERN HEMISPHERE DEBUT IN PENNSYLVANIA. Stink bugs were first discovered in Allentown, PA which is not far from Philadelphia, PA where freedom, legislature and liberty were born. (Okay, the first Congress was in NY…but that’s close enough.)

IT TOOK YEARS TO IDENTIFY IT. Just as the bugs were unknown, so were most of Congress. No one knew they were duplicitous dirtbags at first. Slowly, the mystery unfolded and we could see them for who they really are. And although there are many species (true of BOTH the bugs and Congress) there is one species most vile. With stink bugs it’s the marmorated stink bug and in Congress it’s the Uniparty.
IT’S NOT CUTE. This does not even require an argument.

THEIR SPRAY HAS SOMETHING IN COMMON WITH CILANTRO. Admittedly I’m at a loss here…not knowing what cilantro smells like, but the stink in Congress is unmistakable, so I’ll call this one a wash.
THEY EAT YOUR APPLES. The stink bugs tend to suck the fluid of out produce. To feed, the bugs pierce the skin of the plants with their mouthparts and drink the fluids, which renders the fruit unmarketable as a fresh product. Congress does the same with our economy.
THEY COULD INVADE YOUR HOME BY THE THOUSANDS. Once a stink bug has found a warm spot it likes, it will release an aggregation pheromone (which can linger for up to a year) that draws others to the same area, where they’ll gather in sometimes staggering numbers. Congress does the same—growing government by leaps and bounds—congregating in Washington DC—and then branching out to claim other areas.
ONCE INSIDE, THEY’RE HARD TO GET RID OF. Once a terrible Congressional candidate is elected, it is nearly impossible to vote them out of office!

THEY’RE PRETTY GREAT FLIERS. Congress loves to fly! They will take “fact-finding” trips all over the world on the taxpayer’s dime…the more the merrier!
THEY’RE GENERALLY NOT HARMFUL. This is a true difference. Congress is one of the most destructive forces on the planet. Curtailing freedoms, increasing spending, never solving any crises or issues…they push the problems down the road and somehow claim victory in the next election cycle.
THEY MIGHT BE MESSING WITH YOUR RED WINE. Researchers at Oregon State University placed live and dead stink bugs on wine grapes and measured the stress compounds the insects released as they and the grapes were squeezed during the winemaking process. The researchers found that more than three stink bugs per grape cluster resulted in contaminated wine. I hope Congress stays out of the wine, but they enjoy drinking it—heavily! But as a general rule, any time 3 or more congresspeople work on an issue, you can be guaranteed that the problem will get worse, they will get richer, and the American public will get screwed.
THEY LEAVE TRACES OF THEIR PRESENCE ON PLANTS. I’m going to say according to the recent Twitter File Releases, this is a no brainer. Not only did they leave traces (which were followed), they left their stink of censorship everywhere!

ONE OF ITS NATURAL PREDATORS IS A PARASITIC WASP THAT JUST MADE ITS WAY TO THE STATES. Samurai wasps are tiny, stinger-less parasites that lay their eggs in the stink bugs’ eggs, where its larvae eat the contents before emerging as wasps to continue the cycle. When I think of a parasitic predator, I think of China and our Congress has indeed been penetrated by them! Their souls are being eaten away in their attempts to become richer and richer and China emerges to reap the benefits.
Well, what do you think? Have I made my case? If we head to DC…I call shot gun!

Morning All!

It’s Friday…Musk promised the fascist files would drop this week…so maybe today!
AND it’s January 6th!

Love your open! To tell you the truth, I have never seen (or smelled, to my knowledge) a stink bug….as for cilantro – oh, my – that is yummy stuff! If you’ve eaten much Mexican food, you’ve eaten cilantro. If you’ve eaten Arabic meals, you’ve eaten cilantro. I put homegrown cilantro on almost everything in the summer. Last year was the first in a long time that I didn’t plant any.

Moi? Oh, my, no – I hadn’t had Mexican food until Mom rented a room from a Mexican woman when we were both working on the track – of course, she immediately became the House “Grandma” and they competed as to which one could grow the hottest peppers! As for Arabic food, the Egyptians introduced me to that, including cilantro, which I had never had before. I am normally NOT an adventurous eater. It always comes about from situations over which I have no control. Without that incentive, I never would have tried either one! Same with Chinese food – a cute guy took me to a Chinese restaurant on our first date.

How is this for a scandal?
Fox Digital reports that Transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg has chartered a military jet for his trip to an international sports event:
EXCLUSIVE: Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg traveled to Europe on a military aircraft to attend the Fifth Invictus Games with his husband [sic] Chasten Buttigieg last spring, according to an internal calendar reviewed by Fox News Digital.
On April 15, Buttigieg traveled from Joint Base Andrews to Rotterdam, Netherlands, via “MilAir Flight” before returning two days later on military aircraft, the calendar obtained by Americans for Public Trust (APT) and shared with Fox News Digital showed. According to photos from the event and media reports, the transportation secretary traveled to the Netherlands with his husband.
This is indeed a scandal, as well as a hypocrisy-fest, for multiple reasons. He couldn’t take commercial for a project like that, if for nothing else, then to demonstrate that commercial flights are operating smoothly? Sure, he’s going as an official, but he should have waited for a government jet for his undoubtedly huge delegation, not snap his fingers at the military for quick service to him and the man he calls his husband, or get the roundheels Bidenite White House to sign off on his many trips on private jets.
Fox noted that President Trump’s former Health and Human Services secretary, Tom Price, was forced out of his job for the exact same kind of travel, jumping on military jets, taking the spouse along, as well as taking private planes around the country, for which he billed the government.
Remember this?
Here’s a huffily outraged CBS report on the Price exit, dated Sept. 27, 2017:
Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Tom Price is out of a job amid intense scrutiny for his use of private charter planes.
Price “offered his resignation earlier today and the president accepted,” a statement by White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Friday afternoon. The president intends to designate Don J. Wright to serve as acting secretary, the statement went on to say. He’s currently deputy assistant HHS secretary.
Price’s tenure in the Trump administration lasted less than eight months.
Trump did seem to have a role in ousting Price for this jet travel matter, which outraged Democrats, but the CBS report suggested that the real reason for the Price ouster was that Trump was unhappy about Price’s inability to persuade Congress to get rid of Obamacare.
In other words, he didn’t do the job Trump hired him for.
How’s Pete Buttigieg doing as Transportation secretary, keeping the skies friendly?
He’s been AWOL for years now, first on the supply chain shortage, which includes a critical baby formula shortage that’s worsening, and now the huge airline travel snarls, which has led to flight delays and passenger frustrations. The only thing Buttigieg has done on that has been to blame the airlines themselves for the hellish conditions he failed to correct. He hasn’t made anyone’s life easier on jet travel, which is now a miserable experience. He’s just made sure he hasn’t had to endure any of it by using those convenient military aircraft at his beck and call.
What’s Joe Biden’s attitude on that? Any possibility Joe Biden would ever fire Buttigieg for the military jet misuse for trivial things like sports events, the way President Trump effectively fired Price?
No, because Biden doesn’t particularly care if anyone in his Cabinet does his job — not if it makes the lives of consumers and taxpayers easier, at least. Based on Biden’s record in the White House on multiple matters, that’s not a priority.
So Pete will jet and jet, as he is now doing, commissioning the military to get him to the Netherlands with his partner in full comfort and convenience, the military now at his beck and call.
Tom Price was required to repay the government for his wife’s travel on those jets. Is Chasten paying back the government for the same perk? Be nice if Fox or someone decided to find out.
But even if Joe lets this misuse of military aircraft for personal and trite government reasons go on because, well, he’s Incompetent Joe, the other problem is the hypocrisy of the matter.
Fox News linked to a stellar Dec. 12 broadcast segment on its Outnumbered show, led by host Kennedy (clickable only here), pointing out the greenie pieties of Buttigieg and his rampant use of private and government jets, putative husband in tow, for various travel odysseys of no government-business importance whatsoever, not deigning to fly commercial, which is regulated by his own policies and made hellish as a result. He’s a bit like the social media barons who refuse to open social media accounts, or the Pfizer employees who refuse to take Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine, both on the grounds that they know too much about it.
Buttigieg wants us out of our cars and out of our commercial jets, taking public transportation, shelling out $70K for electrical vehicles, or riding bikes as the greenie alternatives, but he reserves private and military jet travel for himself, having taken more than 18 trips on those comfy transport arrangements, with no delays at the airports, no Democrat luggage thieves to worry about, no lunatics having meltdowns in coach, no TSA agents demanding removal of shoes, no cramped legroom.
Hypocrite much, Pete?
Fox points out that he could be using these trips on the government dime as disguised campaign opportunities, given his presidential ambitions.
If so, it’s one more reason for the incoming House in Congress to pull the plug on this, investigating just what those un-green trips were done for and how many relatives and cronies benefited from them as well. Buttigieg has mastered the art of hypocrisy while in office and taken many questionable trips. Let him be known for that, given that he wants to take away every semblance of affordable and comfortable travel for the rest of us.

democrats love flouting the law in our faces!
entire article
Democrats paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to a consulting firm operated by an illegal alien, which experts say may have violated campaign finance laws.
Antonio Valdovinos, the owner of the Arizona-based La Machine Consulting, has made his status as a Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipient central to his personal narrative. He boasts of his “undocumented” status on his firm’s website and produced an off-Broadway musical,”¡Americano!,” about life as a “Dreamer.” Valdovinos’s immigration status could cause a problem for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, which paid his firm, La Machine Consulting, $500,000 to canvas in three battleground states ahead of the 2022 midterm election.
The Federal Election Commission classifies DACA recipients as foreign nationals for the purposes of campaign finance laws, and says that foreign nationals cannot “directly or indirectly” participate in the “decision-making process” of any campaign or political committees’ election-related activities. One veteran campaign finance lawyer tells the Washington Free Beacon the DSCC’s contributions could have violated these laws.
“If the DSCC knowingly engaged a non-citizen/resident in a capacity that they are prohibited from participating in for federal election law purposes, then they ought to be held accountable,” said Dan Backer, a campaign finance attorney who represented the plaintiffs in the landmark Supreme Court case, McCutcheon v. FEC.
The FEC has already flagged Valdovinos as a possible offender of the campaign finance statutes. In 2021, the commission exercised prosecutorial discretion to dismiss charges against Valdovinos for campaign finance violations but said his firm’s consulting work “raises the prospect that the company could provide the type of services that the commission has previously found resulted in prohibited foreign national contributions.”
“It’s a flat out violation of federal law, everyone knows it, but the exercise of prosecutorial discretion—even without any rationale for it—is almost completely un-reviewable by courts,” Backer told the Free Beacon of the DSCC payments to Valdovinos’s firm.
Valdovinos has worked for other federal candidates, though his DSCC contract is by far the largest. Rep. Ruben Gallego (D., Ariz.) paid La Machine $94,000 for petition signature gathering services last year, financial disclosures show.
La Machine Consulting paid vote canvassers in Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia, according to the firm’s social media pages. Democrats won all three of the hotly contested campaigns. Sen. Mark Kelly (D., Ariz.), who defeated Republican Blake Masters, received support from other left-wing, pro-amnesty groups. Living for Change United in Arizona paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to hire vote canvassers on behalf of Kelly in the weeks before the election, the Free Beacon reported. The organization supported the movement to defund police and has called for the abolition of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The FEC last year fined the Bernie Sanders campaign $15,000 for violating the ban on foreign national contributions for employing three DACA recipients. The Free Beacon reported in 2019 that the three illegal aliens served on the Sanders campaign’s Latino outreach efforts.
The DSCC and Valdovinos did not respond to requests for comment.

150,000 Votes In The 2020 Election Not Tied To A Valid Address In Wisconsin: Election Watchdog – JAN 05, 2023
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/150000-votes-2020-election-not-tied-valid-address-wisconsin-election-watchdog
Election Watch (EW), a Wisconsin election integrity watchdog organization, has discovered that more than 150,000 votes cast in the 2020 presidential election cannot be connected with a valid address.
EW computer analyst Peter Bernegger said the group’s study of Wisconsin’s voter rolls found 45,000 such occurrences involving people who were living out of state in the Nov. 3 ballot, with another 107,000 documented instances on the part of voters who moved to another address within the state and cast a ballot in a different jurisdiction from the one in which they actually reside.
“That’s over 150,000 votes cast in the 2020 presidential election that cannot be tied to a valid address,” said Bernegger. “That’s illegal in the state of Wisconsin.
“Though there may be a reasonable explanation for most of these, the number of instances is so large that if only two out of 10 were nefariously cast votes, that was enough to tip the election to Biden.”

ENTIRE ARTICLE @ DailyCaller: “Prince Harry claims he’s struggled to forget watching his now-wife perform in sex scenes with another man, according to an excerpt from his soon-to-be-released book. Harry admitted he wasn’t originally a “Suits” fan, but it sure seems he’s caught up on the hottest scenes by now. For some reason he decided to share the strange confession in his memoir by penning a descriptive summary of what it was like for him to watch Meghan Markle’s sex scenes unfold on television. “I didn’t need to see such things live,” Harry wrote, according to Page Six.
Harry revealed a number of personal thoughts and details in his memoir, “Spare,” including the confession that he did a bit of research on Markle before they began dating, according to Page Six. Harry admitted to making “the mistake of Googling and watching some of her love scenes online,” and said he needs “electric-shock therapy” to get the images of those sex scenes out of his head.
“I’d witnessed her and a castmate mauling each other in some sort of office or conference room,” Harry wrote in his memoir. Harry was referencing scenes from “Suits” in which Markle played the role of lawyer Rachel Zane for seven seasons, from 2011 to 2018, according to Page Six. Her love interest was Mike Ross, played by Patrick J. Adams, and Harry got to see them go at it on TV before he pursued Markle in real-life.
Harry may have had a tough time digesting that his love interest was getting hot and heavy on TV, but his brother, Prince William seemed totally on board. Harry described the moment he told William and Kate Middleton that he was dating Markle, and said William reportedly reacted by shouting “f–k off!” according to Page Six.
“I was baffled, until Willy and Kate explained that they were regular — nay, religious — viewers of ‘Suits,’” Harry claimed in “Spare,” according to Page Six. “All this time I’d thought Willy and Kate might not welcome Meg into the family, but now I had to worry about them hounding her for an autograph,” Harry said.”

EXCERPT: “Hackers reportedly stole email addresses and other sensitive data from over 200 million Twitter users and posted them to an underground forum, according to a security expert.
The Twitter breach was first discovered Dec. 24 by Alon Gal, co-founder of cybersecurity firm Hudson Rock, according to Reuters. Gal believes the hack will “will unfortunately lead to a lot of hacking, targeted phishing and doxxing,” of the affected users. He also said it’s “one of the most significant leaks I’ve seen,” Reuters reported.
Many of the email addresses in the leak were reportedly verified by tech site Bleeping Computer. The site gained access to the data and ran tests to ensure the data belonged to the Twitter accounts listed. Hackers have allegedly been selling large data sets of Twitter profiles since July 22 by exploiting a vulnerability in Twitter’s Application Programming Interface (API), Bleeping Computer reported.”

Barr & Baker worked together at Verizon?

January 6, 2023 9:26 am
Lee Smith has an excellent article today:
https://www.tabletmag.com/sections/news/articles/how-the-fbi-hacked-twitter-lee-smith
FTA: “In fact, the FBI’s penetration of Twitter constituted just one part of a much larger intelligence operation—one in which the bureau offshored the machinery it used to interfere in the 2016 election and embedded it within the private sector. The resulting behemoth, still being built today, is a public-private consortium made up of U.S. intelligence agencies, Big Tech companies, civil society institutions, and major media organizations that has become the world’s most powerful spy service—one that was powerful enough to disappear the former president of the United States from public life, and that is now powerful enough to do the same or worse to anyone else it chooses. ”
He also outlines that Bill Barr and James Baker worked together at Verizon! Barr was part of the get Trump operation!
It’s a good read and complimentary to Sundance’s expose on how Holder/Obama transformed the IC inwards.

“If the Freedom Caucus rebels believe that they’ve accumulated enough leverage to have outsized influence compared to their small footprint in Congress, it might be worth striking the deal, given that these guarantees are quantifiable and verifiable. The anti-McCarthy coalition — which again, is a significant ideological minority in Congress — has a terrific track record when it comes to voting to protect human freedom and limited government. If they feel like they are getting the best deal, it might be worth it to listen to them.”
“This deal would not have been possible had the Freedom Caucus coalition listened to the “Conservative Inc” brands in the television and media space, who have spent the entire week insulting and threatening individuals and groups (describing them as “terrorists” and “insurrectionists”) that opposed McCarthy’s hasty accession to the House throne.
In the coming hours and days, I would expect to see McCarthy deliver guarantees in writing and for him to successfully obtain the Speakership.”

so 1/6 committee “inadvertently” released the social security numbers of 1900 visitors to the Trump White House!!
entire article
At least no one can say that the January 6 committee didn’t have an impact! Greg Abbott, Kristi Noem, Henry McMaster, and their families will have to guard against identity theft for the rest of their lives, thanks to the committee’s work in exposing their Social Security numbers.
How many numbers got exposed? “Around 1900” of them, according to the Washington Post, which came from White House visitor logs supplied to the committee. The J6 committee failed to redact those from a spreadsheet released to the public as part of its final report on the riot.
Ben Carson, a Trump Cabinet member that had nothing to do with the riot on January 6th, claimed validation from Ronald Reagan when informed his SSN had been exposed:
When the House Jan. 6 committee wrapped up its work in recent weeks, it posted hundreds of records online, including interview transcripts, audio recordings and text messages.
Also buried in the massive cache was a spreadsheet with nearly 2,000 Social Security numbers associated with visitors to the White House in December 2020, including at least three members of Trump’s Cabinet, a few Republican governors and numerous Trump allies. …
Representatives of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster (R) and former health and human services secretary Alex Azar, who were listed in the spreadsheet alongside Social Security numbers, declined to comment or did not respond to requests for comment.
“Whether it was a careless and sloppy handling of records or a deliberate disregard of decorum, either scenario is a perfunctory and callous display of government and a frightening reminder of the current state in Washington,” said former housing and urban development secretary Ben Carson, whose name was listed in the spreadsheet alongside a Social Security number. “President Reagan was a savant indeed — the nine most frightening words to hear are ‘I am from the government and here to help.’”
Not only did a number of Republican officials and their families — Kristi Noem’s children, for instance — have their SSNs exposed, no one warned them either before or after the release. Noem’s office pointed that out when asked by the Post to comment. Most others declined to comment and thus validate the data that the committee had published to a world of scammers and identity thieves. That also includes two federal judges and “at least a half-dozen people” who testified to the committee, as well as one of their attorneys.
One committee aide, talking anonymously, claimed that the release was “inadvertent.” It wasn’t “inadvertent” as much as it was incompetent. This data should have been redacted from the records as soon as the committee received it. The National Archives, which supplied those records to the J6 committee under subpoena, told the Post that they never thought the committee would be stupid enough to release them unredacted:
The National Archives appeared to cast some blame on the Jan. 6 committee. The Archives’s public and media communications office told The Post in a statement that “while we took affirmative steps to redact personally identifiable information (PII), we did not expect that the Committee would publicly release records that still may have contained PII.”
The statement added that The Post’s request for comment “was the first we had heard of a potential inadvertent release of personally identifiable information” and that “we are assessing the situation and any necessary steps to address an inadvertent release.”
It’s possible that this was both inadvertent and incompetent. Using Occam’s Razor, that’s the most likely conclusion to draw. It at least has the smell of retribution against Donald Trump’s allies and associates, but connecting those dots would have to assume that this committee was competent enough to conceive such a plan while performing mainly incompetently all along. We do know, though, that they behaved every bit as biased as something like this would be if it was intentional.
Nineteen hundred people or more will now have to engage in protection against identity theft for years, possibly for life, all thanks to a committee that couldn’t be trusted with sensitive information. And this is likely going to be the most impact the J6 committee ever has.

“The Explanation for the Current Drug Shortage in America Is Far More Nefarious Than You May Think — Responding to a question posed by Daniel Horowitz about the medicine shortage plaguing the U.S., I provide the explanation that is far more nefarious than what people may believe”

EXCERPT: “Conservative stalwart, journalist and podcast host Daniel Horowitz of Conservative Review recently asked this question in private dialogue with a long list of doctors, researchers and investigators regularly discussing the enterprise fraud construct of COVID-19: “Has anyone written a good explainer on what is behind the crazy medicine shortage?”
In that thread, I answered the question and now, I’m sharing that answer with all of you because the explanation is far more nefarious than you may think. Let’s begin here. This is the current list of medicine shortages in the United States and it is a substantial one. I captured the full page but the platform hosting this site will not permit me to post that image and perhaps because it’s too large.”
