When I looked up the meaning of “Auld Lang Syne”, dictionary.com said this:

 The words auld lang syne literally mean “old long since,” though in practice it means “old times, especially times fondly remembered,” as well as an “old or long friendship.”

So, as we near the end of this long, disgusting year of Ultra Maggot’s installation, let’s look back fondly at older, BETTER times!

    After being called a scam and a fake, Santos argued he is neither. Gabbard shot back: “You see, Congressman-elect, having integrity involves really acting that way. However, this requires honesty and integrity. And if I were a resident of New York’s Third Congressional District right now, after the election has concluded and I’ve learned the truth about all the lies you’ve told—and I don’t mean a few exaggerations here and there.”

    Elon Musk responded, “Epic thread!” which in internet-speak equals someone just said something truly dumb that’s going to result in a lot of mocking win. It’s a way of saying the predictions are “epically” crazy. He also posted other tweets, mocking the thread.

    But some on the left went crazy, claiming he was somehow endorsing Medvedev’s crazy thread. What was funny was you had people who claimed to be security analysts or infosec people who didn’t understand “internet-speak” that “epic thread” doesn’t equal approval. Nor could they be bothered to see that he was mocking the thread in other tweets, or had previously mocked him.

    But definitely, one of the worst reactions was from the fired former FBI official Peter Strzok. Strzok implied that the government should reevaluate its relationship with Musk and his SpaceX company because of Musk’s comment.

    So let’s think about this for a second. First, this former FBI guy can’t even read mocking and sarcasm. He can’t be bothered to check out Musk’s other tweets mocking the thread. He can’t be bothered to check out Musk’s prior tweet mocking Medvedev from October that I wrote about in my prior story. Is it any wonder he was ridiculous in his job?

    What he does know is that Musk exposed the close nature of the relationship between the FBI and old Twitter, and the involvement in censoring speech. Suddenly, here’s old Pete coming out of the woodwork to go after Musk. So here they go again with “Anyone we don’t like must be a Russian asset.” Of course, let’s forget that Musk was helping Ukraine with Starlink — that gets in the way of trying to attack him. Because it isn’t about what he said in this case; it’s about the fact that he’s coming up on the wrong side of the liberal narrative when it comes to Twitter and that’s bad. He must be taken down at all costs. This says so much about what Musk is exposing.”

      2. Oh, and no, none of our cats tried to get into the tree – I usually had a handy-dandy spray bottle near at hand – all it takes is one time with most cats. All I have to do is show it to Jake and he completely loses that desire to jump up onto the counter, oddly enough!

  23. with a 90% failure to appear, I’d say the illegals are further breaking the law and shitting on the overly generous opportunity given them. Bounty hunters should be authorized to find and turn in as many as they can with a bounty fee paid upon deportation. i would approve of facial recognition scanning for every deported person. If they do not appear illegally again in our country after 7 years, they can apply to come in legally. If they are found here illegally again, execution.

    At a June 2019 congressional hearing, the acting secretary of Homeland Security, Kevin McAleenan, was asked how many aliens were showing up at their asylum hearings.  He testified that they did a study, and in that study, 90 percent failed to show up for their hearings.  In other words, 90 percent of them are now illegal aliens without question and with removal orders against them.  We need more people at the border who can make the decision on the spot and reject those who do not qualify.

        Dept of GTHO…(get the hell out). they have the power to remove illegals at will once a bounty hunter brings them in…there are officers in 50 states. the bounty hunters do not need to bring them in–it can be done via video chat with fingerprints and facial scans taken.
        we will need to employ truck drivers–that’s how they came in that’s how they go out…

    As a part of the revision, there will no longer be any bones or body parts for players to remove from the patient with electronic tweezers. Instead, there will simply be one single slot in the patient’s chest into which players will insert a knife. The only way to lose the game is to not end the patient’s life within the allotted time.

    “Yes, this is a much more true-to-life version of the game for kids here in Canada, unfortunately,” said author, psychologist, professor, and famous Canadian, Dr. Jordan B. Peterson. “But what are the long-term consequences of teaching children to end lives rather than attempt to save them? You think it’s a harmless game, but it’s not!”

    At publishing time, Hasbro was hoping sales numbers for the new game would be high for the Christmas season, with preliminary plans to follow it up with a new Canadian version of the game Clue, in which players would simply move room to room through a mansion while performing euthanasia on other characters.

He also made an impassioned plea for his own gift: an official, carbine action, 200 shot, range model rocket launcher with a compass in the stock and this thing which tells time.

    Congress initially denied the request, with Nancy Pelosi saying that rocket launchers are dangerous and “you’ll shoot your eye out.” But Mitch McConnell ultimately came through, telling Zelensky that he had a similar rocket launcher when he was just eight years old.

    Fortunately for the Ukrainian president, he was wearing his glasses at the time which protected his eye from any permanent damage. In the aftermath of the accident, Zelensky was able to work up some fake tears and persuade Congress to give him another $47 billion for a new pair of glasses.

  31. I remember some years ago, during the MIC’s formal reign, when this school went woke bigly and stopped requiring such high grades in the interests of “equity!” It was known the entire time I lived out there as THE best school for the top students, of ANY race! They screwed that all up!

    1. they talk and talk about equity–but those students who studied and PUT THE WORK & EFFORT into their studies are being robbed so lazy people can feel better about themselves. I was a merit scholarship semi finalist–I took the SAT’S and was in the running for a scholarship–but I withdrew from the contest when i realized I didn’t want to go to college just then and I didn’t want someone else to lose out on a chance to win one!

          1. Much wiser course….I’ve thought for many years that HS graduates should all take 2-3 years off before deciding what/where/when. Unless someone has a specific talent in a particular field, how can they know what they “want to be” without experiencing what is out there IRL? On top of that, from what I’ve read, the frontal lobe isn’t fully developed until the early 20’s. That governs good decision making, supposedly. I think the same about active duty military, personally – it should be required that people enter the military in an MOS that requires at least a 2-year trade school before active duty. That would be a much better method than wham-bam-thank you ma’am boot camp, 9 weeks of AIT, then off to war!!!

  48. I’m back – I splurged and picked up a Whopper and fries….man, did I ever get a deal on a new coffee pot! I needed a new one – the little $10 Mr. Coffee I picked up during a snow storm a couple of years ago just ain’t cutting it any more. I wanted one I could program – a Gourmia brand that I’d never heard of that normally sells for over $40 was marked down to $15. There were 6 coffee pots there but only one marked down – it had clearly been returned and re-packaged. Nothing missing and it works so I’m satisfied.

    Made it to 44 today, rain tonight and possibly tomorrow, but temp staying above freezing, thankfully.

    ENTIRE ARTICLE: “(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it received 16 pages of records from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) detailing the nighttime transportation of unaccompanied alien children (UAC) by air from Texas to Tennessee, as well as two other flights making multiple stops across the country.

    The Administration for Children and Families, a division of HHS, produced the records in response to an October 2022 lawsuit filed after HHS failed to respond to a May 20, 2021, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (No. 1:22-cv-03044)), asking for:

    · All documents related to the preparation and logistics involved in the transportation of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) to and from Chattanooga’s Wilson Air Center on May 14, 2021.

    · All ACF officials’ internal email communications related to the transportation of UACs to and from Chattanooga’s Wilson Air Center on May 14, 2021.

    The records include a May 15 email from a person whose name is redacted to an unnamed person at MVM Inc’s Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) Transport DFW (Dallas Fort Worth) Command Center detailing charter flights.

    One flight travelling from SAN-OKC-CHA-EWR [San Diego, Oklahoma City, Chattanooga, Newark airports] via “Swift Air,” which was operating a Boeing 737 with “148 seats” [likely the number of passengers]. It indicates that there would be two buses at the San Diego Convention Center, two buses in Oklahoma City, two buses in Chattanooga, and two buses at Newark.

    A second flight, from MFE-ELP-EWR [McAllen, El Paso, Newark] also via “Swift Air,” and a 737, with 150 seats, notes: “Pecos [TX] will be bused to ELP [El Paso] to catch charter flight. 1 bus will report 0800. 2 buses to report at 0800 at Delphi EIS [Delphi Emergency Intake Site]

    The records also include a May 13, 2021, email thread from a redacted person at MVM Inc. to RF1Badging@rf1.us [likely Response Force 1] and others regarding an Administration for Children and Families’ (ACF) Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) transport of minors from Kay Baily Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas on Friday, May 14, 2021, before dawn, at 3 a.m.

    RF1 Badging then replies, “Please be advised that the following UCs [Unaccompanied Children] … does not match in our system.” He then proceeds to list the details of nine children. Also in this thread is an email from an individual at Culmen International stating that one of the minors is “not cleared to travel.”

    The records include a list for a charter of 36 children from Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico and El Salvador. A handwritten note on the spreadsheet says: “Dallas to Tennessee Air Charter Flight 5/14/2021.” The record notes that the children are to be transported to these shelters: La Casa de Sidney, Lincoln Hall Boys’ Haven, Children’s Home of Kingston, Children’s Village Shelter, and Cayuga Center TFC. It indicates three of the minors are “reunifications.”

    (Chattanooga’s unaccompanied migrant minor housing facility, La Casa de Sydney, was closed in 2021 after reports of runaways and sexual battery.)

    An undated “Transfer of Custody” form indicates the transfer of six Guatemalan and Honduran children from “KBH” [likely Kay Baily Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas] to La Casa de Sidney. “These shocking documents forced out by a Judicial Watch lawsuit show the Biden administration effectively trafficking unaccompanied alien children, dropping them off in city after city like items for delivery,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The Biden open borders crisis is resulting in the most massive child and human trafficking operation ever.”

    In a May 26, 2021, letter to HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Tennessee Senators Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty, along with Tennessee Congressman Chuck Fleischmann, detailed their concerns regarding unaccompanied minors:

    We write to seek information on the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) management of unaccompanied alien children (UAC) in federal custody and the facilities used to house them. We are particularly concerned about recent reports regarding the use of Chattanooga, Tennessee, as a central location for resettling UACs in the United States.

    There are media reports that, within the last week, at least four planes carrying UACs landed at Wilson Air Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, before swiftly boarding the children onto buses and transporting them to multiple cities across the southeastern United States for apparent resettlement, with zero transparency regarding what was happening. For months, reports have detailed how thousands of children are being housed in neglectful conditions at mass shelters operated by HHS under a veil of secrecy. We are deeply troubled by the lack of transparency and accountability regarding the conditions that HHS is subjecting these children to.

    In September 2021, Judicial Watch revealed HHS documents that list 33 separate incidents of alleged sexual abuse in a one-month time period tied to unaccompanied alien children shelters.”
